Theory Hazit ist definitiv Everybodys Darling. Wer den Namen des Künstlers aus Winchester-Kentucky googelt, erhält sowohl auf jesus.de als auch auf Spiegel-Online positive Kritiken. Muss also was dran sein an dem guten Mann. In der Tat liefert Theory Hazit mit seinem Debüt allerbeste Kost. Seine Tracks sind mal jazzig, mal soulful aber immer höchst angenehm zu hören. Mal kommen die Drums on point, mal herrlich neben der Spur, mal hört man die Premo-Inspiration heruas, mal den Dilla. Lyrisch gibt sich Theory ebenso eloquent wie conscious. Er erzählt von sich (»Hello Kideez«) und natürlich von Gott (»Extra Credit«) und der Welt (»T Minus Ten«). Das freut völlig zu Recht oben erwähnte Kritiker und hoffentlich auch jeden HipHop-Head mit gutem Geschmack. »Extra Credit« spielt dank der inhaltlichen Vielfalt sowie den unglaublich starken Produktionen in der ersten Conscious-Liga und Theory muss sich keinesfalls vor einem Mos Def, Talib Kweli oder Common verstecken. Wie sagt er doch in »Gossip Synopsis« selbst: »I got so much style, you thought that Theory Hazit was a group.«
