The Master – Teacher was born in Cleveland Ohio. He is one third of Sa-Ra Creative Partners. Shafiq has an impressive resume. He has produced for a vast array of artists from Ice-T, Body Count, Lord Finesse, D.X.T., Afrika Bambaataa, Prince, Duran Duran, J5, Erykah Badu and Bilal. His depth in this music is un-comparable. From Cleveland to the South Bronx to Los Angeles, he makes a dent everywhere he goes. This mix sees him on fire at the house. Lots of different musics as you would expect from a Mochilla mix cut and pasted together the way Shafiq does. From disco to post-punk to psychedelic to old school hiphop and that’s the first five minutes. Try to listen without getting up from the seat you are sittin in.
