Das Herz am rechten Fleck zu haben, birgt im gängigen HipHop schon ein gewisses Risiko. Was soll man auch von einem Völkchen erwarten, dass zu 76,89% aus Image und nichts dahinter besteht? Wenigstens bleibt die Gruppe der Gutherzigen und Wahren dabei übersichtlich. So passen sie auf eine Compilation. Project: Mooncircle besteht aus den verschiedensten Künstlen, die ihre Liebe zum HipHop in aller kompromissloser Kreativität ausleben. Die kann dann wie bei Rumpistol & V8, Pablie und Lackluster auch mal Richtung Dub, Electronica und IDM ausscheren, denn man erinnere sich: HipHop vereint alles. Klampfen mit Funkmonster-Breaks (Glen Porter), digitale Dunkelheit mit Speedrap (Arrowax), Soul-Samples mit spittenden Traumfahrten (Manuvers & Hordatoj), grummelnde Spacejets mit entgeisterten Banjos (Mr Cooper), Schattenraps mit iberischem Siesta-Gemüt (Strand & Nongenetic) und jazzige Gutenmorgenlässigkeit mit sophisticated MCs (Cyne).
