Grown and sexy cover of the Meters classic by Kova (ex-Breakout) and Miles Bonny. Kova is one third of the now defunct producer trio Breakout. Their massive afro-funk version of “Planet Rock” sold over 8.000 copies in 2006. Miles Bonny debuted on MPM with the “Closer Love” EP. The record has been dubbed “sexy jazz dance with a touch of Dilla” and has just been picked by GP for the next Brownswood comp. “Clap Clap” is an inspired meeting of Breakout’s uncut future funk and Miles’ velvet leftfield crooning.
