Part three in the Instruments Of Rapture series brings us a trilogy of pitched down house workouts. Leading the way is OOFT's "This Sound", an 80s influence midtempo jam that builds itself around a large synth bass and short vocal loop for eight minutes of perspiration. The flip sees The Revenge dig out two unreleased cuts from their DJ sets. "Hotz 4 U" is a meaty, slo-mo, disco-dub excursion tripping out the vocal and synths over a stomping bassline. The sought-after "Heavy Love" (from the "Forever In Their Debt # 5" CD EP) has been promised on vinyl for a while and arrives just in time for summer. The mid-tempo groove, Marvin Gaye "Heavy Love Affair" vocal samples, builds and drops all present, here is everything we all love about The Revenge. Killer cut!
