adidas x Azuma & Kazuki – Forum Mid Plant: These classic basketball high-tops were designed by Japanese artists Makoto Azuma and Kazuki Kuraishi who embraced the Plant theme by adding stems to the green adidas logos on the tongue and at heel as well as dirty brown details on the outsole. They went the minimalist route to focus on the topic, and they did a damn good job!

Die beiden japanischen Künstler Makoto Azuma und Kazuki Kuraishi haben dem Forum Mid eine Frischzellenkur verpasst, setzen unbeirrt auf Minimalismus und wählten fürs Obermaterial den cleansten aller Farbtöne, was eine wunderbare Basis für das Plant-Thema bildet, welches sich sehr dezent bemerkbar macht, und zwar in Form der pflanzenartigen Trefoil-Logos auf Zunge und Ferse sowie der braunen Außensohle, die den fruchtbaren Boden symbolisiert.
