When the Forum was introduced by adidas in 1983, it was considered to be the most technological basketball shoe of its time, because the added heel cup and the velcro strap resulted in best ankle protection. Now, more than a quarter-century later, the adidas Forum is still one of the most wanted retro shoes of the early 80s.
The OT-Tech series exclusively presents a brand-new make-up inspired by Tokyo street fashion, including super-clean black upper with with tonal 3-stripe branding and adidas' signature blue on the heel patch.

Als adidas 1983 den Forum einführte, galt dieses Modell als der technisch versierteste Basketball-Schuh auf dem Markt, weil die integrierte Fersenschale und der Velcro-Strap dem Fuß eine deutlich höhere Stabilität als vergleichbare Modelle verlieh. Und heute, ein gutes Vierteljahrhundert später, gilt adidas´ Forum als einer der beliebtesten Mid-Tops im Früh-80er Design.
Im Rahmen von adidas' OT-Tech-Linie gibt's 2010 ein spezielles Make-Up, das von der Mode beeinflusst wurde, die auf den Straßen Tokios das Bild bestimmt - und das fällt offensichtlich weniger farbenroh aus als viele denken. Dafür wurden bei disem Modell für das Obermaterial deutlich mehr unterschiedliche Materialien verwendet als bisher.
