adidas' Stan Smith was introduced in 1965 as the first all leather tennis shoe. Its first name was Robert Haillet, according to the French tennis player. It was renamed in 1971 and endorsed by all-time tennis great Stan Smith. Since then it has gone on to be one of the most iconic shoes of all times.
To follow up on this success story and bringing newness without losing its authenticity at the same time, the Stan Smith is now part of the OT Tech concept. This approach was implemented by the combination of court and Tokyo street style in a comfortable velcro version.
The OT-Tech range exclusively presents a brand-new make-up inspired by Tokyo street fashion, including super-clean black upper with with tonal 3-stripe branding and adidas' signature blue on the heel patch.

adidas präsentiert die smarte klettverschließbare Komfortvariante der alten Tennislegende Stan Smith in einer im Rahmen des OT Tech-Konzepts sauber gestalteten Interpretation, deren Obermaterial den größtmöglichen Kontrast zum weißen Sport bildet, wodurch dieser Schuh aus der Range bisheriger Stan Smith-Modelle heraussticht. Auf die Konstruktion hat das aber gar keinen Einfluss, bei diesem Thema geht adidas nach wie vor so minimalistisch wie möglich zu Werke.
