After a string of excellent releases in 2011 (Daniel Drumz' self-titled EP or Galus' "Futura" album to name but a few), the ever-growing U Know Me imprint greets the New Year with an EP from one of Poland's hardest working DJs, Eltron John. A staple figure in the DJ booths of the underground clubs and discos in Poland and beyond, Eltron is certainly no stranger in the studio either. Having already released some sure-fire secret weapons ("And Then We Realize..." for Koh-I-Noor and "Not In Your Hand" for Pets Recordings), he is now back with two more cuts to move the body and please the soul. First up is "Electric Worldlife", an irresistible jam taking you on a journey through the realm of Eltron. Playful synths, razor-sharp drums and bass enough to satisfy even the most demanding sub-freaks out there - all dubbed out and extended for serious use in the discotheque. On the flipside we find "I Knew...", a downtempo workout, whose immersing soundscapes and intricate grooves are bound to get you flying high - if you only dare. And last but not least, the EP is finished off with a remix, from none other than Onra. The French beatmaker gives "I Knew..." his classic MPC downbeat treatment and the result is a direct, raw and delightfully loose groove. Limited edition of 300 copies!
