Jordan Brand proudly presents the return of the amazing Air Jordan 1 KO, a throwback design that started the AJ craze. Yeah, it's equipped with the original construction including canvas upper with leather overlays as well as the Vandal-inspired concentric circle design outsole with anatomical flex grooves. Loosely based on the lines and aesthetics of the Nike Dunk High, the original Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore. It was introduced in 1985 in a signature red and black colorway, that was later outlawed by NBA Commissioner David Stern, for not having any white on the upper. Although he had to pay a fine each time, Michael Jordan wore the shoes anyway. Features of the Jordan Brand Air Jordan 1 KO include canvas plus leather upper, soft fabric lining, a slightly padded collar, a foam-padded insole, an EVA foam mid sole, a stitched rubber cup sole, Nike Swoosh appliqués at side panels, a woven label on the tongue, and AJKO branding printed at the collar.
