Jordan Brand proudly presents the return of the amazing Air Jordan 1, a retro design with the awesome Light Crimson colorway. This color scheme was inspired by the track suit Michael Jordan sported at the David Letterman show back in 1985. Loosely based on the lines and aesthetics of the Nike Dunk High, the original Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore. It was introduced in 1985 in a signature red and black colorway, that was later outlawed by NBA Commissioner David Stern, for not having any white on the upper. Although he had to pay a fine each time, Michael Jordan used to sport these shoes anyway. The features of the Jordan Brand Light Crimson Pack's Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG BG "David Letterman" include leather upper, a perforated toe box, soft fabric lining, a slightly padded collar, a foam-padded insole, an EVA foam midsole, a stitched rubber cupsole, Nike Swoosh appliqués at side panels, pre-Jumpman Air Jordan branding embossed at collar as well as a woven Nike Air label on the tongue.
