The “No. 9997” 12-inch by STABLO was released in 2011 and presents two concise, untitled tracks that were issued exclusively on vinyl. The release was announced as a strictly limited pressing and came without a digital release; upon its initial distribution, customers were limited to a maximum of one copy each. A Japan-exclusive limited-edition repress followed later, making the record available again in a tightly restricted quantity.

Musically, “No. 9997” operates within the realm of Dub Techno, relying on spacious, echo-drenched textures and pared-down, loop-based rhythms arranged in dense layers. The two sides keep the material short and focused, with tempos of approximately 122 and 124 BPM, respectively, and use bass and delay elements sparingly to give the tracks their weighty subtlety. The release underscores the STABLO label’s stripped-back aesthetic, geared toward DJ use and vinyl playability, and fits into its catalog of concise, club-ready Dub Techno 12-inch releases. For fans of dark, forward-driving studio sketches, the “No. 9997” 12-inch remains a concise addition to the STABLO catalog.

In the fall of 2007, a 26-year-old producer from Cologne named Daso Franke released his 12-inch single on Ghostly’s “Spectral Sound” label. The A-side featured “Meine,” a euphoric, eight-minute rush that thrilled dance floors around the world. Since then, the single has become a true classic. Earlier this year, Resident Advisor named “Meine” one of the best songs of the century so far. In April 2018, Franke passed away after a long battle with cancer. With the support of his family and at the request of fans, we are making the “Meine Idee” EP available again—in memory of Daso’s musical legacy. Resident Advisor continues: “The song is incredibly positive, which explains why it was a favorite at Panorama Bar for years. In the final moments of his life, Daso’s friends played ‘Meine’ over a stereo in the corner of his hospital room. It was the sole option.” Daso possessed a unique gift for graceful melodies, and the “Meine Idee” EP captures a moment when that gift shone brilliantly. His music will live on.

The “Be Yourself” 12" by Pancratio, released on Faith Beat, presents four compact club tracks that carry the artist’s sound forward in a focused way. The EP includes the tracks “Be Yourself,” “Take Me To The Music,” “Catch Me,” and “It’s Time,” forming a concise addition to Pancratio’s previous album “Automatic House” on the same label. With this 12", Faith Beat issues a compact, clearly structured single that expands the label’s catalog with another dancefloor-oriented release.

Musically, Pancratio relies on driving, hypnotic house arrangements in his familiar signature style: the title track opens with a purposeful groove, while “Take Me To The Music” carries the pulsing flow across the A-side. On the B-side, “Catch Me” and “It’s Time” provide a coherent continuation of the hypnotic pulse, dominated by rhythmic precision and a deeply rooted feel for flow and tension. The production remains clear and direct; Pancratio works with stripped-back elements that unfold their impact on the dancefloor. For fans of his previous work, the “Be Yourself” EP on Faith Beat is a clear, concentrated expression of his current club aesthetic and adds four considered tracks to the label’s program that are effective both in DJ sets and when played on loop.

Released on Giegling, Volkan’s 12" “Planet Kotti” formally aligns with the label’s concise, vinyl-oriented catalog; the catalog number is given as “Giegling colors II.” The release is presented as a stand-alone 12-inch format and is thus aimed both at DJs and at listeners who appreciate the imprint’s understated, collective profile.

Giegling is known for a restrained, mood-driven approach that blends elements of house and techno with a melancholic tonal palette; this stance provides the context in which “Planet Kotti” is to be understood. The label’s tracks often rely on sparse arrangements, warm sound design, and an emphasis on atmospheric depth rather than lavish production, allowing individual motifs room to unfold.

With this release, the artist Volkan positions himself within the aforementioned spectrum of the Giegling stable. “Planet Kotti” focuses on pared-down musical statements and subtle gestures in the arrangement, with no additional information on personnel or production provided. As such, the 12" offers an exemplary addition for collectors and programmers who follow the label’s distinctive profile.

The "Aretha's Reign" 12" by Harold Heath is released on Curated By Time and brings together the three tracks originally issued on Sensei in a reissued club format. This new edition shines a light on an early chapter of Heath’s work and makes the record accessible again for both DJs and collectors.

Musically, the release is exemplary of early‑2000s British tech house: precise, loop‑based grooves, clean, cutting drums, and a restrained, effective production style that leaves room for subtle shifts. Harold Heath is characterized by a functional, club‑oriented approach; he wrote and produced the tracks himself, which explains the consistent coherence of the sound aesthetic.

The 12" features the tracks "Aretha's Reign," "Snake Eyes," and "Somebody," each one striking a balanced blend of punch and restraint that stands out on the dance floor for its suitability for DJ sets and ease of mixing. As a reissue on Curated By Time, these early tracks return in a contemporary context and reaffirm Harold Heath’s position within the UK house scene.

Back in! Repressing of Larry Heard's return into the spotlight with another classic release after all those years! A fantastic 12 presenting the gifted Memphis based vocalist Mr. White (aka Chad White). 'You Rock Me' is a soulful affair, created to be timeless, while 'The Sun Can't Compare' is a fun play with vocals over a typical Larry Heard acid track. Must have for all fans of good house music!!

The Bubbles 12" by Ferg, released on The Naked Dance, comprises four tracks that sit somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house. Two of the cuts operate as high-energy dub-tech-house numbers, complemented by a lighthearted deep house track; the title composition "Bubbles" serves as a counterpoint and an ode to the deeper, more emotional side of Ferg’s productions, which the artist himself describes as the ones that give him the greatest satisfaction.

Musically, the release combines driving club readiness with deliberately deployed melody and a calmer, introspective dimension. The dub-oriented tracks lean into heightened energy and rhythmic density, the deep house cut brings lightness and a floating feel into the set, while "Bubbles" pushes the emotional nuances to the forefront. With this 12" on The Naked Dance, Ferg presents a compact selection that makes a clear statement both for DJ sets and for moments away from the dance floor, highlighting the breadth of his work between groove-centered arrangements and more sensitive, atmospheric moments.

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” triple LP by Edward is released on Running Back in a gatefold jacket. Gilles Aiken, better known as Edward and active as a resident at Giegling, opens up an archive of his own edits that has grown over the course of many years. The thirteen edits were originally created for DJ sets and have only now been officially compiled for Running Back’s Mastermix series.

Edward does not treat the source tracks as material that fundamentally needs to be improved. His interventions extend passages, shift entries, bring rhythms to the forefront, or alter the emphasis of individual elements. The result is a musical autobiography told through records by other artists. The artists whose tracks he reworked include Carl Craig, Motohiko Hamase, Kirk Degiorgio, Aubrey, Sven Väth, and Michael Rother. With “Twilight (Edward’s Drum Version),” “Opaque (Edward’s Edit),” and “L’Esperanza (Edward’s Spirit Edit),” the selection ranges from Detroit techno and dub techno to Japanese ambient jazz and house, as well as trance and cosmic music.

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” 3LP thus documents Edward’s longstanding connection to the music that has shaped him as a producer and DJ. All tracks were edited and remixed by Edward, Lopazz handled the mastering at Mixmastering.de, and the vinyl was cut at Schallplatten Schneid Technik. Running Back is also releasing the collection on cassette and in digital formats.

The unconscious element to the conscious process. The practice of dub techno and its tendrils is a fundamental for me, both aesthetically and from an engineering perspective. I start every recording session with a dub inspired jam, the first piece I ever recorded in 1996 was an effort to recreate Phylyps Trak with only a Korg X3 and an Ibanez Pue5 (borrowed from Gary Howell). It was an awesome introduction to jamming, and the footing stones of noise, delay and saturation were explored with my foot hard on the enthusiasm pedal. These practice jams are in some sense cathartic, the first step taken again & again, which helps me move forwards each session and additionally helps to 'warm the circuits' both of myself and the machines. After realising the genius of Basic Channel is akin to the genius of peasant food, using every ingredient with nothing left to waste, (up to and including the oft maligned working noise of the machines themselves), this was a watershed moment for my own subjective progression. No longer tied to just emulation of something inspiring, but taking these learned tools into other areas of music helped to break free from a strong current of influence and also to progress into other areas with the new toolbox. Dub: The importance of the dub pioneers should never be understated, in modern music and my own practice. Yet with my initial inspiration being two german dudes issuing extreme techno variants with obscured label designs, who then signposted their listeners to their own inspirations (via their Wackies re-issues or nodded to on their Rhythm & Sound/Burial Mix sub-labels), meant that I started late and travelled backwards. Learning to notice the live mixing of Mikey Dread or Lee Perry when the faders are bleeding through even when turned down, (echoed in BC's Quadrant Dub), or the brash send effects literally thrown into the mix also taught me that 'rough' mixing can inject a recording with life, uniqueness and the most right wrongness. Looking back Basic Channels very few elements helped me realise that the rules to be understood, are also the best ones to be broken. Push the mixer into the red. Amp that noise up from the tape delay cos it sounds sick. Pseudo side-chain effects cos the kicks are way too loud and the mixer can't sum it nicely. Spam the send knob into the delay units now, now and now. Carelessness. Noise: Once I wrapped my head around the intrinsic 'noise' element that set those records apart, this became a torchlight into the alt noise movements which I was tentatively exploring at the time, and also is evidently a connection or thread into them. Whether the Industrial/Post Punk UK scene (This Heat, TG, A Tent, F.E.) or the prolific output of the US Noise scene (Wolf Eyes, Live & Shave in LA, and subsequently following the lineage all the way back to Chrome's Alien Soundtracks), I had finally discovered a connection from techno to this 'free for all' corner of music. This input from the Noise arena of sound is, in my experience, an all important step for a sonic artist, taking it's roots and extending out from Stockhausen/Pierre Henry and utilised/warped/mangled by thousands of adventurous pioneers ever since, I now see the line separating the high brow and the low brow is actually an artery carrying information from the head to the heart. Vault is a selection of these jams that precede each of my solo recording sessions, for 30 years I've recorded hundreds of these 'workouts'. They are never intended as serious statements, just moments of naive enjoyment, yet most importantly they are time & space captured as practice. The objective is always a warm up exercise, but sometimes those exercises turn a different corner, with a certain focus or direction dependent on what random samples are left in my machines from the previous session, instead of conscious choices, these unconscious elements can facilitate those 'positive mistakes' that make a piece of sound retain a different feel or colour and thus become special, or at least special to the creator. I am quite conscious that the 'record everything' aspect of my ethos has been invaluable in cataloguing and saving these jams, while the attitude of carelessness during this process (after all, it's only a warm up jam) invites more enjoyment than seriousness ever could. Even if you don't feel the piece at the time, record it, because some years later it may well fit, or become relevant in a way you never intended. -Miles Mastered by Miles, cut by Rashad Becker. “No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

Bee.G’s (O.Bee and Cem G) “Makes Me Feel” 12-inch, released on SWEEP, marks the second release from Dyed Soundorom’s newly founded label and brings a piece of the long-standing collaboration between New York and Istanbul to the dance floor. On this release, O.Bee and Cem G connect influences from Istanbul’s local music culture with experiences from ReSolute warehouse parties in Brooklyn and sets at Club der Visionaere in Berlin. The result sits confidently between techno, minimal and tech house, fitting seamlessly into Sweep’s curatorial profile.

On Side A, the original mix of “Makes Me Feel” establishes a steady groove from the very beginning, gaining depth through layered percussion and dense pads. A recurring vocal clip builds tension until, around the midpoint, the voice breaks into a fragmented stream of scattered words over the rolling bass, culminating in a call-and-response of fading voices—a hypnotic passage that positions the track as a pure underground groove. The flip side features Edward (Giegling) with a remix that takes the material in a darker, more angular direction: He extracts the “Make me feel” motif and recasts it as a recurring element, adding layer after layer to heighten the original’s dynamics and atmospheric nuance. This 12-inch is clearly tailored for dance-floor use while also serving as a statement of the production partnership between O.Bee and Cem G.

The "Beyond The Veil" 12" by Altinbas, released on Ostgut Ton, brings together five carefully crafted tracks that can be understood as an expedition through otherworldly sonic spaces. Altinbas, who has been performing at Berghain on a regular basis since his debut, deepens his work on detailed ambience on this release, combining propulsive rhythms with blossoming synth motifs. The title track serves as a guiding thread through the set, establishing the premise of a conceptual dialog between artist and space.

Musically, "Beyond The Veil" moves between a reduced, tonally refined techno aesthetic and minimal, house-leaning moments, featuring airy textures, hypnotic lead lines, and a tangible inclination toward dubby, atmospheric soundscapes. Tracks like "Charming the Cosmic Snake" work with long arcs of harmonic tension, while the closing "Antichamber" pulls back the rhythmic drive to shape a dreamy, almost meditative final sequence. With solid percussion and organically flowing arrangements, the tracks are designed equally for intense club contexts and focused listening situations. On "Beyond The Veil," Altinbas draws on his proven command of space and dynamics to present a coherent, emotionally charged EP that further consolidates his position as a composer of focused, dance-oriented pieces.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ship-Scope” 12" as released on DDS returns as a 2026 pressing in a limited run of 500 copies, remastered from vinyl by Matt Colton. This edition foregrounds the familiar connection between warm dub techno feeling and stripped-back, minimal production, amounting to a precise, carefully updated reappraisal of the piece.

Originally issued on Chain Reaction in 2001, “Ship-Scope” is characterized by an unusually dreamy tonality that sets it apart from many releases of the time; the DDS version brings this dreamy, almost lost-at-sea atmosphere even more clearly to the fore. Especially striking is the dense sense of space and the slowly building tension that turns tracks like “The Red Line” into defining moments of the release.

With this reissue, DDS continued the curatorial work that brought renewed attention to Shinichi Atobe after his resurfaced album “Butterfly Effect.” The remaster by Matt Colton preserves the organic character of the original recordings without smoothing out their fragile texture, making the “Ship-Scope” 12" on DDS a relevant addition for collectors and admirers of the romantic side of deep and dub techno.

The “Wisdom To The Wise” 12-inch released on Spectrum by Dave Clarke combines a defining track from the early Red series with a new reworking by Joris Voorn. The track formed the centerpiece of “Red 2,” the second installment in Clarke’s three-part series, which significantly expanded his reputation as a techno producer.

“Wisdom To The Wise” was created in Brighton in the early 1990s under basic production conditions. At the time, Dave Clarke worked with an Atari 1040 and a microsampler, whose limited capabilities helped shape the track’s direct, raw character. The track pushes forward with powerful drum patterns, distinctive hi-hats and a dark, tension-filled atmosphere, without relying on overloaded arrangements for its impact.

Joris Voorn approaches the classic with respect for its techno foundation, while adding his own synthesizer textures and a contemporary sonic architecture. A heavy kick, metallic chords, expansive pads and carefully placed percussive disruptions give the remix additional depth. The tension builds gradually, while the groove retains its original toughness and simultaneously takes on a warmer feel.

On the B-side, a 2023 remaster of the original complements this new reworking. In this way, Spectrum brings Dave Clarke’s historic source material together with Joris Voorn’s current studio signature on a 12-inch. “Wisdom To The Wise (Joris Voorn Remix)” thus marks the return of a key work from the Red series in a new sonic setting.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ongaku 1” 12" on DDS appears here as a 2026 pressing in an edition of 500 copies and has been mastered by Rashad Becker. The release marks Atobe’s third 12" since his 2001 Chain Reaction debut and coincides with the tenth anniversary of his first DDS album, “Butterfly Effect”; additional editing and mixes come from Miles ov Demdike Stare. With it, DDS launches a new series of limited 12-inch releases in which Atobe subtly develops his signature sound while at the same time probing a stronger sub-bass focus.

Musically, the record’s A-side features “Ongaku 1,” a shimmering, classic-leaning deep house cut that combines delicate ornamentation with precisely sculpted kicks. Feathery dub chords and dark string passages create recurring goosebump moments, while fine details open up in the upper registers. The B-side, “Dub 6(six),” unfolds a psychedelic weave of arpeggios and synth voices, given extra depth by a more forceful bass undercarriage before the kicks set the whole thing swinging on a broader scale. Taken as a whole, “Ongaku 1” sees Shinichi Atobe combine his familiar stripped-back framework with new shadings, yielding some of his most immediate and enduring work.

The Orange Transparent Vinyl Edition of “The Age Of Love” 12" by Age Of Love was released on DiKi and brings the three most distinctive reworks of the classic together on one record: the legendary Jam & Spoon “Watch Out For Stella” Mix, the rendition by Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano, and Solomun’s Renaissance Remix. This compilation presents different phases and perspectives of the track in a compact format, making the 12" a functional release for DJs and collectors looking for a focused selection of prominent remixes.

The selection on the DiKi release emphasizes both continuity and renewal: the Jam & Spoon mix appears in a revised 2021 master version, while the versions by Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano and Solomun each reflect the production techniques of their respective eras. Age Of Love had already written and released its namesake hit in 1990; this 12" references that legacy without flattening the distinct character of the individual remixes. Technically situated within techno, minimal, and tech house, the record offers a direct link between early trance heritage and contemporary club production.

The “Bipolar Loops” 12" released on Trance Pandemic by Kurilo comes across as a consistent foray into the intersections of techno, minimal, and tech house, relying on a clear, stripped-down sense of drama. A new pandemic is making its way to you — from New York to Berlin, the release brings a chill and precision befitting its title; the material feels both timeless and immediate, as if it carried an energy that reaches beyond club nights.

Sonically, “Bipolar Loops” leans on deep bass foundations, hypnotic patterns, and finely nuanced percussive figures that gradually build and pull the listener ever deeper into the constructed atmosphere. The arrangements work with repetitive loops and sparse melodic flashes, creating tension through reduction while keeping the groove fully effective. Kurilo’s production maintains a balanced relationship between impact and space, allowing individual elements to unfold their effect on large sound systems just as well as in more intimate settings.

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene. This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene. "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno" was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium.

The “Choices” 12-inch by Brennan, released on Dig This, combines elements of techno, minimal and tech house, consistently continuing the young label’s release series.

Following the success of its debut EP, the Dig This collective returns with another statement; if the first release is any indication, “Choices” is not one to sleep on.

Brennan is no stranger to the scene and has already achieved a noteworthy breakthrough, giving the record a palpable sense of anticipation. On the production side, this experience is evident in focused arrangements and clear rhythmic direction designed both for DJ sets and actual club play.

The tracks on “Choices” work with sparse yet effective layering of electronic elements, precise percussion and an emphasized groove architecture, allowing the twelve-inch format to communicate its club-oriented intent directly. Dig This uses the release to underscore its focus on pared-back, dance-oriented forms of electronic music and, with Brennan, delivers a record distinguished by restrained yet effective production.

On this release, Non Series brings together renowned producers from the broader field of electronic club music, thereby setting a programmatic accent in terms of the label’s profile. The selection combines distinctive approaches by artists from different generations, with the sequencing designed so that individual contributions stand out through their structure and density without disrupting the overall flow. With “Quince,” Non Series presents a compact, editorially curated cross-section that offers insights into both current production techniques and grooves informed by tradition.

Musically, “Quince” moves within the spectrum between techno, minimal, and tech house, juxtaposing these styles in varying tempos and textures. Established figures such as Rrose, Function, and Mathew Jonson shape the character of the compilation with striking contributions; tracks like “Guilty Traces,” “Shifting Borders,” and “Timelines” serve as prominent reference points within the sequence. The "Conform EP" 12" by Havantepe is released on Berg Audio (catalog BERGAMON17, 2026) and presents four new tracks by the Istanbul‑born producer. The release joins the label’s so‑called "Monument" series and features full cover artwork by Juli Jah. As a 12" in the field of dub techno, the record relies on dense, atmospheric arrangements and a reductive dramaturgy that works across multiple layers of echo and space.

On the "Conform EP," Havantepe uses precisely placed textures and extended soundscapes to shape the tracks into slowly swelling progressions; the EP emphasizes subtle modulations and a sparse yet compelling groove dynamic. With this release, Berg Audio adds another entry to its catalog that underscores both the aesthetic continuity of the label and Havantepe’s penchant for hypnotic dub aesthetics. The "Conform EP" remains deliberately compact: four focused tracks, a clear visual line through the artwork, and a production signature that brings out the atmospheric qualities of dub techno.

Released on Front Line Frequency, the “Sounds From The Front Line” 12" by Grant Dell brings together four tracks from his back catalog, produced between 2002 and 2005 and now available for the first time collectively on one record. The selection centers on the rolling house groove that brought Grant Dell attention in the early 2000s, channeling that energy into a compact 12" format.

The A-side features “So Good,” originally released on Jay Tripwire’s Spaced Out imprint, as well as “Acid Bubble Baby” featuring DJ Deano, which first appeared on Stupendous; the B-side offers a reissue of the Chicago Transit Authority cut “Still Disillusioned” and “Be Good Tonight,” originally released on Cove Records. All tracks are written and produced by Grant Dell, with the sole exception of the A2 collaboration with DJ Deano; for this edition, the tracks were remastered by Justin Drake. The compilation makes the origins of the tracks clearly audible, linking early releases with an updated sonic presentation and underscoring Front Line Frequency’s focus on Dell’s distinctive club cuts.

The "Somewhere In Japan" 12" by Underground Resistance was released on Underground Resistance and is part of the World Power Alliance series. The EP documents two focused tracks that emerged from a studio session Mad Mike Banks began while staying in Kobe, with DJ Skurge and other contributors present who were involved in the edits.

The A-side features "Good Time," a cut that opens with a Moog bassline and a distinctive kick drum, later adding handclaps; its stripped-back, funk-driven arrangement structure points to early UR aesthetics. This version carries DJ Skurge’s edit. The B-side, "Find Your Friend," was recorded in Kobe and appears here in a Torque edit; prominent 303 sequences and swinging drum accents define the track.

As a 12" release, Underground Resistance presents the cuts in a clear, DJ-friendly layout, placing emphasis on punchy bass and transparent arrangements. Mike Banks’s production merges Detroit techno vocabulary with direct, dancefloor-oriented elements, while the edits by DJ Skurge and Torque subtly tailor the tracks to different set situations. The record is aimed at collectors and DJs looking for distinctive UR productions.

The "Weird Fiction" LP by Al Chem was released on All City / Artyard and originally came out in 2017 on Art Yard; the first pressing comprised 500 numbered copies in a 180‑gram tip-on sleeve. The record collects six tracks recorded between 2000 and 2005, now available again for the first time.

Alexander Christou, known as a member of Berliner Ring and for his work with Elecdrones, presents a solo project on "Weird Fiction" that connects analog and digital sound worlds. The recordings move within the wide field of electronic dub meditations: hazy textures, modulated delay spaces, and subtle, seemingly organic percussion elements set the tone. Rather than following conventional song structures, Christou arranges sounds according to mood and a sense of landscape, clearly reflecting the project’s origins in the milieu of the Berlin electronic scene.

Sonic highlights include the rendition of Ras Michael's "No Hoppers," which couples electronic percussion with Moondog-like rhythms, as well as "Prophet," which pinpoints Christou's relationship to the city with precision. "The Red Tower" fuses reggae groove and house kick into a blurred parallelism, while "Baudelaire" centers on digital delay and "Ladder Of Perfection" rounds off the album as a droning final tableau. Taken as a whole, "Weird Fiction" stands for an idiosyncratic, Northern European–inflected dub aesthetic within contemporary electronic music.

The “Radio Hood” 12" by Robert Hood and Radio Slave, released on Rekids, marks the label’s 300th release and 20th anniversary, bringing the two producers together in direct collaboration for the first time. The double A-side single documents a pairing that Rekids has been preparing for a long time: Robert Hood first appeared on the label with distinctive remixes, including reworks of Radio Slave tracks, and returns here as an equal partner.

Musically, “Radio Hood” combines minimal drive with opulent sound design; the main track works with striking stabs and expansive textures to create a fully realized club moment despite its reduced structure. The alternative version, “Radio Hood (Version),” substantially extends the material, relying on sweeping strings, a lowered Reece bassline and nearly ten minutes of dramatic buildup that give the track additional emotional breadth. Rekids presents the release within its familiar context of electronic precision: here, Robert Hood and Radio Slave combine Detroit-honed rhythms with modern studio aesthetics, giving the 12" a clear place in the set or collection of both DJs and listeners who appreciate dense, propulsive tracks.

The compilation “Efflorescence III” has been released as an LP on Project Indigo and presents a curated selection of techno, minimal, and tech house. Project Indigo is a Zurich-based label and collective, founded in 2016, that brings together local and international producers.

The selection combines ambient frequencies with hypnotic beats; tracks such as Lb Honne’s “Six Castles,” Flabaire’s “Summer Sun,” and Boaksi’s “Dream With Me” showcase the spectrum between deep techno, deep house, and ambient house. The contributions range from dense, driving arrangements to finely crafted, atmospheric passages.

All proceeds go toward reforestation projects.

The record also features contributions from Iltaa, Tibi Dabo, Ben Kaczor, Sœnne, Hame, and Hobie, each exploring their own approaches to rhythmic density and ethereal arrangements. The production focuses on fine textures and balanced low end, allowing both the minimal grooves and ambient nuances to stand out clearly.

The "25 Years Visitor Part 1" 12" by Fred Nasen was released on Visitor and inaugurates the newly launched series of original sampler pressings from the label’s catalog. The release brings together three productions that Nasen created with his long-time studio partner Dimitri De Wever, which firmly established the label’s characteristic, groove-oriented sound at an early stage.

The A-side features two tightly knit tracks, "Landcruising" and "Static," distinguished by striking melodic basslines and stripped-back, dancefloor-focused arrangements. On the B-side you’ll find "Sunday Visitor (A Visit From The Mingers)," an almost eight-minute remix by UK producers The Mingers that pushes the track into elongated, hypnotic peak-time territory and ranks among the most sought-after cuts in the Visitor archive.

Fred Nasen launched Visitor out of an immediate enthusiasm for the dark, melodic intersection of techno and house that was being shaped in London at nights like Wiggle and The End; his work at N.E.W.S. Records and his support for local parties such as Kozzmozz helped establish the label within the Benelux scene. In its first decade, Visitor remained known for a clear, club-oriented aesthetic and released more than forty records during that period.

The "Moving Pressure 07" 12" by Rene Wise is released on Moving Pressure. The release fits into the label concept, which is set up as a platform for exploring the dialogue between sound system music and the human body; sound and pressure are therefore just as central as stripped-back arrangements and their physical impact.

Musically, Rene Wise focuses on a reduced, hypnotic form of techno: percussive grooves, driving bass foundations, and subtle sound layers create constant forward momentum, where small rhythmic shifts have a big effect. The approach is geared toward precision and space, making the tracks equally suited to club play and powerful sound system sets.

Rene Wise has established Moving Pressure as his own imprint and uses the series to bring together the accumulated ideas behind his production approach. The "Moving Pressure" releases are characterized by restrained yet punchy production, with sound design and groove at the forefront and an emphasis on the physical impact of playback. This 12" continues the label’s stated aim and presents Wise’s signature within a stringent, techno-driven sonic framework.

The “Utility” LP by Barker is released on Ostgut Ton and consistently continues the dance-oriented spirit of experimentation he began on his debut EP “Debiasing.” A Berghain resident and co-founder of Leisure System, Barker playfully links club-ready structures with an exploratory approach to rhythm, harmony, and timbre on this debut LP. Across nine tracks, he probes the balance between immediate dancefloor impact and a deliberately stripped-back, genre-associated instrumentation; bass and percussive impulses function less as genre markers than as elements of a deliberate compositional intent.

Musically, Barker relies heavily on modular synthesis, self-built mechanical instruments, and plate reverbs to shape dense, at times psychedelic vignettes that oscillate between futuristic melodic lines and precisely placed rhythmic figures. In terms of content, “Utility” draws on utilitarian and transhumanist themes — models for quantifying pleasure, ideas of “gradients of happiness,” and the ethical question of minimizing suffering find concrete counterparts in the sound design. The album is not a concept record in the classic sense, but an open, candid experiment: music as a tool for maximizing experience and as a vehicle for consciousness-expanding moments, presented by Barker on Ostgut Ton in uncompromising form.

The “Listen Here EP” 12" by Cityboy is released on Palace Trax and puts a clear emphasis on precise club production and wiry sound textures. Tight percussion, cutting synth leads, and finely tuned acid lines weave together into rolling, dance floor–oriented arrangements, where dynamic build-ups and brief melodic interjections keep everything in constant motion. Troy Anderson, who stands behind the Cityboy alias, handled production and composition; mastering was done by Justin Drake. The tracks move between sober mechanics and moments of almost anthemic density, without ever tipping over into showy effect-mongering.

The record is designated as a limited 12" vinyl EP; it was pressed by Vinyl Presents. Here Cityboy draws on experience from earlier ’90s releases as well as more recent projects, extending already recognizable lines in his work. The collaboration with Palace Trax came about after Troy contacted the label following a previous release; his personal comment on the name “Cityboy” also lends the release a small narrative touch. Overall, the “Listen Here EP” on Palace Trax presents a focused statement that unites production, mastering, and pressing quality into a cohesive vinyl package.

The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias, released on Vakum, combines striking techno patterns with stripped-down minimal structures and a pronounced tech house drive. Matthias uses pinpoint percussion, wide filtered pads, and subtle modular sequences to shape dense, trance-like spaces in which a pared-back groove and textural details coexist on equal footing. Vakum frames the release as a focused 12" where carefully placed breaks and a deliberately sparse bassline balance the kinetic tension between dance floor energy and more reflective undertones.

The conceptual framework of the release is narrative in nature: “In a world where the sea had swallowed every shore, humanity lived upon small floating platforms, drifting like fallen leaves across an endless blue. Beneath the waves slept the ruins of the old world, silent and forgotten. One day, a young merchant sailo”. This imagery finds its way into the arrangements by integrating melancholic melodic fragments and open sonic spaces that evoke long-lost coastlines and wide stretches of water. The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias on Vakum thus offers both clear club suitability and atmospheric depth, showcasing the artistic signature of a producer who combines a minimal approach with a hypnotic effect.

The Reziban 12" by Suciu, released on Pressure Traxx Silver Series, brings two trademark cuts out of the vault and marks the return of the Pressure Traxx day-one artist. The record comprises two tracks unearthed from the archive that, in their concise formal language, retain the direct, gritty character of the source material; the shorthand description “Grimey!” succinctly captures the intended sound. With this release, Pressure Traxx Silver Series once again puts forward material characterized by pared-back dramaturgy and immediate impact.

At the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech-house, Suciu brings together stripped-down arrangements, pointed rhythms, and clear motifs on Reziban. The two cuts rely on minimal structural interventions, focus on precisely placed percussion, and create space for subtle textures without diluting the driving energy of the tracks. As a 12", Reziban delivers two compact, upfront tracks that document Suciu’s characteristic approach to concise club material and carry forward the label’s trajectory. With this release, Pressure Traxx Silver Series adds two more unmistakable moments to its vinyl catalog.

The Muerte Deluxe 12" by Inner Lakes, released on Earth Dog, leads the listener into a dark twilight zone between techno, minimal, and tech house, and consistently continues the recent evolution of the Milan-based producer. Inner Lakes, whose work has already appeared on Lagunas, Kalahari Oyster Cult, and Francesco Del Garda’s Timeless label, made a strong statement within djfix and Jek’s Earth Dog orbit with the 2025 EP Bongdrift; Muerte Deluxe picks up on that stage and solidifies his position in late-night DJ sets.

Musically, the record clearly targets the peak-time floor: “Control” opens with a serrated acid line, a pulsating bassline, and a psychedelic groove that leans into progressive momentum. The title track “Muerte Deluxe” takes the cadence in a rougher direction, a choleric stomp with ragga-tinged energy that drives the low end with intent. On the finale, “R3vision” provides more introspective moments; muted, moonlit reflections and a softened dissonance steer the propulsive force into a melancholic final curve. With this 12", Earth Dog documents a precise, club-oriented stance from Inner Lakes and delivers producer’s sound squarely aimed at nocturnal dance floor dynamics.

Released on Bosconi, the “Paths Lead Inward” 12" by Alex Barbu marks his debut on the Italian label and condenses into four tracks a precise exploration of electronic terrains. Alex Barbu, who has previously released on Digital Finesse and Maeteria, approaches on “Paths Lead Inward” the tension between minimal and techno as well as the finer shadings of tech house and deep house–leaning moments, augmented by subtly psychedelic touches.

In compact, cleanly drawn arrangements, the “Paths Lead Inward” 12" combines stripped-back rhythms with floating soundscapes; low-end foundations and precise percussion carry tracks that work both on the dance floor and reveal their details on closer listening. Alex Barbu relies on subtle variations and a carefully considered sense of dramaturgy, giving the release on Bosconi a coherent internal logic. The clear production and the focus on atmosphere and groove make “Paths Lead Inward” a compelling addition to the Bosconi catalog and a succinct statement by the artist that consistently continues the path he has taken with Digital Finesse and Maeteria.

The *Terminus Jungle* 10" by Natural Goofy and Shkedul is a self-release and continues their series of white label pressings with a low-key presentation. The release comes as a 10" white label, limited and available exclusively on vinyl; a repress is not planned. One side is by Natural Goofy and the other by Shkedul – different routes to the same destination – with the clear note “From you, back to you” and a quantity rule that limits the number of copies available per customer.

Musically, *Terminus Jungle* moves within the tension field between techno, minimal, and tech house; Natural Goofy and Shkedul each deliver their own distinct takes on this framework. The four-handed concept is built around two complementary approaches: one side takes the listener into the late hours, when perception shifts, while the other follows an alternative yet aligned path. In this way, Natural Goofy and Shkedul create a deliberately stripped-back, moment-focused release on the *Terminus Jungle* 10" that places the club context and the night at its center, underscoring the character of a direct, limited self-release.

The Three Rituals 12" by Jotel, released on Magicwire, presents three precisely crafted tracks: “Laugele,” “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” and “Blinking Eyes.” The release relies on stripped-back structures and a clear emphasis on rhythm and sequence, with Jotel working carefully with layering and subtle modulations. Each track remains tightly focused in its composition, so that small shifts in dynamics and filtering become tangible and shape the course of each piece.

“Enter the Circle. Begin the Ritual.” This guiding motif runs through the record’s dramaturgy: “Laugele” builds tension through minimalist patterns, “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” deepens the arrangement with darker, grooving undertones, and “Blinking Eyes” closes with striking percussion figures and pinpoint accents. The music fuses clearly recognizable elements of techno, minimal and tech house into a compact, atmospherically dense sequence. Across the 12", the sound design remains sober and impact-oriented, allowing the tracks to unfold their hypnotic effect. With Three Rituals, Magicwire makes a brief yet distinctive statement; Jotel delivers a focused collection that convinces through reduced arrangements and meticulous pacing.

Released on Nord LTD, the “Questions EP” 12" by Shkedul and Marco Mellere presents the second installment in the NORD EDIT series and is issued as a limited-edition 12" vinyl. The release focuses on edited versions of previously unreleased jam recordings from the early-2000s progressive house and tech house period. The production relies on careful tightening and reorganization of the original material, translating familiar motifs into stripped-back, club-ready arrangements that foreground both rhythmic precision and subtle shifts in texture.

Musically, the “Questions EP” combines the structural clarity of techno with the groove and arrangement-minded thinking of the early house era; the original jam-driven impetus and melodic fragments are retained, while the edits render the tracks format-ready for DJ use. As a chapter within the NORD EDIT series, the release places a clear emphasis on historical references and editing techniques rather than on reworks in the classic remix sense, making the EP a precise statement within Shkedul’s label work.

Per Hammar returns to his own Dirty Hands imprint with the four-track ‘Ontario EP’, once again showcasing his raw, robust and groove-led style.

Swedish producer and DJ Per Hammar has steadily carved out a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary underground electronic music. As the founder of the acclaimed Dirty Hands imprint, Hammar has built a platform synonymous with deep, groove-led and uncompromising club music, while other productions have found homes on some of the scene's most respected labels including Sushitech, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Craigie Knowes. Here we see him returning to his own home and delivering stripped-back late-night tools, psychedelic excursions and deep, hypnotic dancefloor journeys.

Title cut ‘Ontario’ leads with crisp, crunchy drums alongside dubby bass tones, fluttering stab sequences and intricate modulations. ‘Off Disk’ follows with organic percussion, weighty sub-bass and delayed melodies. ‘Oops All Sixes’ moves into acid-tinged House territory, while ‘Airex’ closes with oscillating percussion, a snaking low-end pulse and airy chords.

The “Back From Reality” LP by Space Ghost is being released on Peace World Records and marks his first solo album since 2022. On this release, which comes out on October 9, 2026, Space Ghost weaves elements of ambient, downtempo, and house into an electronics‑oriented sound aesthetic that, within calm, atmospheric arrangements, leaves room for reflection.

The album deliberately draws on the late 1990s and early 2000s: PS2‑era soundtracks, start screens, and menu atmospheres flow into the compositions as aesthetic reference points. Tracks like “System Reset” play like an imaginary console boot‑up, while “VGM” envisions a stage‑select scene for a fictional game; “Sugar Cube” and the title track “Back From Reality,” by contrast, create nocturnal, downtempo‑leaning zones in which listening turns into a kind of nighttime journey.

Visually, the release follows the minimalism of that era: sparse industrial landscapes and stripped‑down typography shape the artwork. The cover photo, shot by Space Ghost during nighttime drives through the quiet, empty harbor districts of Oakland, underscores the intimate, personal touch of the project. Written over the course of five years, “Back From Reality” reflects the negotiation between everyday obligations and creative longing, opening up a small retreat‑like space where moments of optimism and contemplative calm become tangible.

With the “Paradise People +” 12-inch, Dzungla offers a focused look into Len Lewis’s archive. Released on the Amsterdam-based label, the record combines historical material with previously unreleased tracks, tracing the development of the tech-house veteran from 2003 to 2021.

Four tracks guide listeners through Len Lewis’s characteristic dark and driving sound. Precisely placed rhythms, powerful basslines, and stripped-back, movement-oriented production unite the different periods of creation into a cohesive whole. Rather than stylistic breaks, the record develops a continuous arc of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house, preserving both the raw directness of his earlier productions and the later refinement of his arrangements.

At the center is “Paradise People,” a track that exemplifies Len Lewis’s feel for buoyant grooves and distinctive sonic details. The additional tracks expand this profile with further facets of his production style, highlighting how consistently the London-based producer has pursued his rhythmic language over the years. With “Paradise People +,” Dzungla presents more than an ordinary collection of scattered archive recordings: it is a carefully curated 12-inch that brings together different stages of Len Lewis’s work within a shared musical framework.

Hey ho, let's go!

The “Peacewave” EP, released on Quirk by Berlin-based Norwegian producers Alexander Skancke and Henriku, marks their return to Skancke’s own label and reunites the duo after their last highly successful joint release in 2023 (QRK009 “Happy Birthday” EP).

On this EP, they team up with Ethan Dalziel, guitarist of Berlin post-punk band Klang, adding an eclectic expansion of the label’s genre palette to the Quirk catalog and once again proving just how open-minded the producers are musically.

Across four tracks, the record develops a focus that fuses old-school electronic elements from electro and new wave, house and techno, with rock-inflected components, without getting lost in mere genre formulas.

Highlights include “ATM,” with Henriku’s characteristic voice giving it strong recognition value, as well as “Orange Sunshine.” Both are enhanced by guitar parts from Ethan Dalziel, providing an organic complement to the tracks’ electronic framework.
The title track “Peacewave” lends its name to the release and is an absolute dancefloor filler. The final track on the flip side, “Ragnarok” (B2), stands out with clever, precise sampling—a patient, steadily building party starter.

A thoroughly successful EP and a crystal-clear recommendation!

The “Cloud Collision” 12-inch released on Open Water marks the label’s first transmission and the debut of its founder at the same time. With this first title, Open Water immediately establishes a distinct profile and makes Otee’s perspective on contemporary club sound audible.

Musically, the release moves between techno, minimal and tech house, working with stripped-back structures and pronounced groove elements. Alongside the title track “Cloud Collision,” the 12-inch includes further compositions such as “Moto” and “Retrograde,” which explore different facets ranging from driving bass lines to sparse percussion. The uncluttered dramaturgy and clear production choices place Otee’s approach to sound design and DJ-oriented sequencing at the center, establishing “Cloud Collision” as a focused, purposeful opening statement for the Open Water program.

Dialog’s “Symbol Of The Land” LP is released on Kynant and marks the duo’s move toward a deliberately beat-driven full-length, expanding their previously ambient and dub-oriented approaches into more strongly rhythm-focused arrangements. Dialog, the production and performance project of Helsinki-based Samuel van Dijk and Rasmus Hedlund, combines dub techno aesthetics with a collaborative working method; on “Symbol Of The Land,” this openness to voices and rhythmic traditions becomes a principle that shapes the album’s structure.

The album documents a period of intensive exchange and brings the duo’s studio and live experience into a new balance: precisely placed drums and modulated bass textures merge with spatial processing and occasional vocal interjections, elements already heard in earlier Dialog projects. The production emphasizes textural depth and spatial movement without abandoning dub’s characteristic delay and filtering strategies; instead, these are integrated into functional grooves that open up both club and listening spaces. “Symbol Of The Land” on Kynant reflects Dialog’s intention to translate dubwise sound design into a collaborative, globally oriented album format.

The “Sunday Mirage” 12-inch by Chris Carrier, released on Dancefloor Rituals, finds the Parisian veteran at his usual high level and continues the artist’s series of carefully produced EPs. “Sunday Mirage” delivers a trance-inducing selection of tracks that move between techno, minimal, and tech house, while being purpose-built for club play. The EP includes two tracks clearly designed for peak time, a laid-back warm-up groover, and an after-hours pick, presenting the sequence as a varied, cohesive unit.

On “Sunday Mirage,” Chris Carrier once again demonstrates his ability to combine precisely arranged tracks with clear value for DJs; the production feels focused and tailored to the dance floor, without relying on unnecessary effects. With this 12-inch, Dancefloor Rituals continues its collaboration with the producer and offers DJs a solid selection of set-friendly material. Thanks to its clear structures and trance-driven passages, “Sunday Mirage” works equally well for peak-time excursions and longer club sets in which transitions and dynamics play a central role.

The “Papua New Guinea” 12-inch by The Future Sound of London is released on Jumpin & Pumpin and brings together the track’s well-known club mixes on a compact vinyl edition. This 12-inch features several versions of the track, including the expansive “Papua New Guinea (Andrew Weatherall Remix)” and the shorter “Papua New Guinea (Graham Massey Mix),” both of which transform the original song into distinct DJ-oriented spaces. Stylistically, the release is aimed at fans of electronic soundscapes and uses the flexible arrangements of the remixes to clearly differentiate the individual versions.

Musically, “Papua New Guinea” is built around distinctive samples: Lisa Gerrard’s voice and a notable bass line from Meat Beat Manifesto serve as recurring reference points that Cobain and Dougans reconnect within the arrangement. On the 12-inch, the Andrew Weatherall version and Graham Massey’s mix demonstrate how versatile the source material can be; the longer remix provides room for extended transitions and DJ use, while the more compact mix places its accented motifs and editing in the spotlight. For collectors and DJs, the Jumpin & Pumpin edition of “Papua New Guinea” remains a documented record of the early remixes of a track that shaped the electronic scene of the early 1990s.

The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe is being released on DDS as a 2026 repress, bringing back the elusive album by an artist who has been puzzling listeners ever since his early Chain Reaction releases. DDS is reissuing the work and thus putting this collection of archival and new material back in the spotlight; the re-release directly points to Atobe’s unique run across two decades of electronic production.

Musically, “Butterfly Effect” remains an idiosyncratic chapter somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house: the record opens with a dragging, almost syrupy opener, moves on to a nine-minute, precisely crafted piano house piece, and then dives into dense, drone-like passages. The compositions combine sparse rhythms with textured sonics and contain small but unmistakable signatures that lend the album its timeless aura. The fact that Demdike Stare and the wider DDS circle were the driving force behind its release and reappraisal is reflected in the selection and careful cohesion of the tracks. The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe on DDS thus remains a densely documentary yet enigmatic entry in his discography, whose 2026 reissue once again highlights the special quality of this material.

Released on Raum...musik, the Baby EP 12" by Ricardo Villalobos presents two distinctive cuts that condense his reductive approach to techno, minimal, and tech house. The A-side, "Baby," works with processed voices and a slow-burning groove; Villalobos’ own vocals are embedded as both textual and sonic layers, lending the piece a surprisingly expressive, almost melancholic tone. Delicate layers of percussion and sparingly used synth elements create an organic sense of dynamics that leaves ample space for subtle variations.

The B-side, "Hansup," forms a contrasting counterpoint: lighter, driving, and rhythmically sophisticated, the track carries a brighter, almost euphoric atmosphere. On this version, the signature of Frank Greiner also comes into focus; contributing as an additional producer on "Hansup," he adds characteristic textures to the arrangement. As a 12" on vinyl, the Baby EP brings the two tracks together in club-optimized length and showcases Ricardo Villalobos’ ability to combine vocal elements with a minimal production aesthetic. With this, Raum...musik delivers a focused release that provides both DJs and fans of meticulously crafted minimal tracks with precise tools to work with.

Released on Yellow Wax, the “Yw008” 12" by The Unknown Artist brings the programmatic message “NO FACE < NO NAME < JUST MUSIC” into focus right in its immediate title context, emphasizing a consciously dialed‑back artist presence in favor of the sonic material. The Unknown Artist and Yellow Wax dispense with flashy identities; instead, the release communicates its intention directly through the statement and its purist presentation.

Musically, “Yw008” sits at the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech house, using this field of tension to work with sharply defined rhythms and a stripped‑down sonic aesthetic. The Unknown Artist combines sparse yet effective elements into tracks that seek a balance between drive and restraint; Yellow Wax thus plays host to a release that aims more for impact in the mix than for personal staging.

As a 12" on Yellow Wax, “Yw008” consistently adheres to its own premise: no superfluous information, but a clear focus on audible structures and atmospheric density. The Unknown Artist leaves the field entirely to the music and, with “Yw008,” delivers a statement that can fully unfold its effect both in minimalist sets and in tightly focused club settings.

The compilation "Fantasies EP" is released on Waking Dreams as a 12" and brings together four tracks that trace the hypnotic sides of deep house while at the same time integrating tech house and minimal influences. The title track, long played in clubs as a hotly debated ID, appears here for the first time in its official form: a meditative yet forward-driving cut, carried by understated percussion and a precisely calibrated groove. Lush chord pads open up the space, dubby synth stabs provide accents, and a well-placed spoken-word passage sharpens the arrangement’s trance-like effect.

A complementary remix version takes the core ideas in a darker, electro-tinged direction and lifts the driving sequence to a more intense, club-ready level with edgy drum work. The two remaining originals inject a brighter, more kinetic energy into the EP, balancing the deep, focused moments with more dynamic tracks. With "Fantasies EP," Waking Dreams demonstrates a pronounced feel for atmospheric depth and dancefloor-ready functionality at the same time; the 12" format presents the cuts in DJ-friendly lengths and emphasizes the intersection between night-sky ambience and clear club presence. Fans of precise grooves and introspective house moods will find compact material here that works equally well for long sets and focused home-listening sessions.

The black vinyl edition of the “A Thousand Nights” 12" by Gregor Tresher has been released on Break New Soil. This repress brings Gregor Tresher’s acclaimed track back onto turntables and, alongside the original, includes Dubfire’s “Quiet Storm” remix version, giving both DJs and collectors a compact two-track release on black vinyl. With it, Break New Soil is reissuing a piece from Tresher’s catalog that has established itself through its prominence in clubs and on digital platforms.

Musically, the 12" combines elements of techno, minimal, and tech house: the original showcases the characteristic balance of melodic density and driving rhythm, while Dubfire’s “Quiet Storm” remix contributes a distinctive rendition that clearly sets itself apart from the original version. The shortened running time of the 12" narrows the focus to two concise versions of “A Thousand Nights,” making the release particularly appealing for use in DJ sets where compact, impactful tracks are in demand. Together, Gregor Tresher, Break New Soil, and Dubfire’s remix contribution stand for a release that links classic elements of electronic dance music with a contemporary remix aesthetic.

The "Himawari EP1" 12" by Swayzak, released on Palace Limited, brings together two rare versions from the "Himawari" era on vinyl for the first time and marks a focused return of the duo. Swayzak, consisting of David Brown and James S. Taylor, revisit material from their second album roughly 25 years on, translating the reduced, groove-oriented aesthetic of the original into precise, club-ready arrangements.

On "Himawari EP1" you’ll find the first-ever full-length vinyl version of "Japan Air" (Full Mix, remastered, 10:11), which in its extended form creates space for breathing melodic arcs and deeper rhythmic structures. In contrast, "Annadub" (2025 Master, 15:04) is an expansive, densely constructed dub take that starts out organically and slowly unfolds over its length. Both tracks have been reworked for this release and offer nuances previously only audible in alternate versions or digital editions.

The "Himawari EP1" on Palace Limited presents Swayzak in a matter-of-fact, focused way: stripped-back productions, clear bass foundations, and subtle textures link techno, minimal, and tech house. As a 12", the release adds targeted extensions to the duo’s canon and presents two exemplary snapshots from the "Himawari" sessions.

The 12" “Omakase 002,” released on Omakase, brings together Traumer and Antraum, the joint project by Anton and Traumer, and is slated for a vinyl repress in 2026. With this release, Omakase reaffirms its early direction: after the quick sell-out of the debut, the label follows up with another clear statement single. The edition documents the close collaboration between the two producers and brings together three precisely arranged tracks suited both to club sets and focused home listening.

Musically, “Omakase 002” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house; intricate grooves provide the backbone while dense soundscapes add atmosphere. The A-side, “Hachi,” functions as a striking opener, driven by coherent basslines and subtle modulations. On the B-side, “Roko” and “San” deliver varied complements that round out the record’s concept: precise percussion, a restrained approach to melody, and carefully placed effects create spaces in which individual elements clearly stand out. With this 12", Omakase stays true to its line, once again presenting club-oriented, thoughtfully crafted tracks that appeal to both DJs and collectors interested in conceptual electronic music.

Elia Nafzger shifts between immediate, pulse-driven patterns and sparse, textured interludes, allowing the “Loose In The Function EP” to have impact both in the club and in focused listening situations. The 12" “Dubhaus” released on Dachshund by Tm Shuffle brings a precise, dub-focused approach to rhythmic reduction and sonic depth; the set moves squarely in the realm of dub techno and ties repetitive motifs to layered textures and a constantly forward-driving groove. The tracks make sparing use of melodic elements and reverb-heavy production so that atmosphere and danceable structure remain equally weighted.

Musically, “Dubhaus” comprises three tracks that shift between raw club energy and a more introspective mood; the title track forms a hypnotic opening, “My City, My Brain” adds an extra voice to the deliberately minimalist composition through a contribution from Konstantin Kost, and “Pimeys” leads the EP into darker, more reflective territory. The material is written, produced, and composed by Jukka Hänninen, who, as Tm Shuffle, works with traditionally dub-rooted arrangements while foregrounding subtle variations and meticulous mixing. “Dubhaus” fits into the recent discography of Tm Shuffle and showcases the producer’s ongoing fine-tuning of space, use of delay, and bass design.

The “My Own Shadow: Album” LP by Marcel Dettmann is released on !K7 and comes as a 2LP set on EcoRecord; the vinyl edition spans four sides and contains 14 tracks in total, including “Resolution Vector” and “Gravitational Scar.” The tracks work with reduced textures and a deliberate interplay of rhythm, tension, and resolution, with Dettmann repeatedly relying on precise percussive structures and subtle layering that allow for both club-ready impulses and atmospheric interludes. Clear, driving sequences alternate with restrained, almost cinematic moments, giving the “My Own Shadow: Album” LP a dense, focused dramatic arc.

“My Own Shadow” is more than a straightforward album project: it connects music with visual work and photography, bringing what Dettmann hinted at in the two pre-release EPs “Approaching” (2025) and “Faultline” (2026) together in a more comprehensive form. Dettmann described the project as another perspective on his work—a project in which different disciplines come together organically. Released on !K7, the LP thus combines three decades of experience in electronic music with a clear, contemporary perspective on minimal and techno aesthetics.

The “Astro” double LP by Donato Dozzy is released on Tresor and comes in a gatefold sleeve with download card. Over two sides, Dozzy unfolds a concept that links personal memories of Japanese animated series with his familiar synth architecture. The title piece “Astro” directly references an early sample source taken from a Japanese TV anthem and functions as the central motif of the album.

Musically, on “Astro” Donato Dozzy combines stripped-down, hypnotic structures with precise sound design: tracks like “Raydeen” and “Himika (M Song)” rely on powerful yet restrained arpeggios, while “Pegasu” conjures images of machines lifting off. “Jumbo Crack” was created on an EMS Synthi AKS and works without drums; rising basses and white noise here generate a sensation of takeoff. The eponymous composition “Astro” is based on a children’s song sampled directly for the first time, which serves as its point of departure. The set concludes with “Ryoma (Lò Song),” whose wide, trance-like pads function as a finale. With “Astro,” Tresor presents a focused release in which Donato Dozzy fuses his synthesizer work and his memories of collecting into a coherent whole with a cosmic feel.

The "In Your Body (Twentysix Mix)" 12" by Cosmin TRG is released on Sportiv and comes in a classic hand‑stamped white label format. The release presents a reworked version of the track that first appeared in 2016, updating it for 2026‑oriented DJ sets with an increased tempo and a sharp new mix that preserves the driving structure of the original.

Musically, the "Twentysix Mix" picks up on the hypnotic, propulsive aesthetic that defines Cosmin TRG’s club cuts, but is rendered in a more angular, club‑ready way. The A‑side is complemented by two B‑sides, "Erodat" and "Iradiat," whose industrial‑tinged forward momentum and precise sound design round out the set; an exclusive digital remix by newcomers TRYL adds further takes on the material.

Cosmin TRG has established himself as a reliable producer of electronic music through releases on labels such as Hessle Audio and 50Weapons as well as through his own label environment; Sportiv functions here as a user‑focused imprint that combines functional club music with great attention to sonic detail. The hand‑stamped white label presentation underscores the pragmatic character of this release, clearly geared toward DJ use.

The “Eye Spy EP” 12" by Unsighted was released on Kraftjerkz and focuses on precise rhythms, funky bass sequences, and a textured electro aesthetic that does justice to the label’s sound. The record brings together compact, dancefloor-oriented arrangements dominated by analog synthesizers and crisp percussion, with Unsighted’s compositional signature remaining clearly recognizable throughout.

Unsighted, the project of a producer based in New York, fuses elements of electro, minimal synth, and classic funk, working with a keen sense of space and groove. The tracks are marked by rhythmic sophistication and subtle sonic manipulations. Vocals are used sparingly; instead, pattern-based builds and modular soundscapes take center stage, giving the EP a character that is both club-ready and atmospheric.

As a special feature, a remix by Kid Ginseng rounds out the 12": the track billed as the “Punk Funk Remix” brings extra energy and a slightly different take on the groove without diluting the clear identity of the original cuts. In doing so, Kraftjerkz positions itself as an American answer to long-established electro labels, offering DJs and club owners material that is both danceable and carefully produced.

The "Fumaxohn" 12-inch by Robag Wruhme is released on Cocoon. The record brings together four tracks — "Olahni," "Ifthah," "Fumaxohn," and "Pentho" — and presents itself as a compact work focused on atmosphere and groove.

Robag Wruhme is the solo alter ego of Gabor Schablitzki; since the early 2000s, his work has moved between stripped-down house and finely calibrated minimal. The production is characterized by great precision without ever turning cold: instead of relying on spectacular peaks, Schablitzki opts for gentle motion and a constant, barely perceptible build-up of tension. The arrangements are rich in detail yet remain clearly structured, giving every element space.

Musically, the 12-inch spans an arc from ghostly textures to driving bass figures. "Olahni" opens with floating soundscapes and hypnotic vocal fragments, while "Ifthah" leads into darker, rolling bass landscapes. The title track lays a warm harmony over the groove, vocals blur into textural layers, and "Pentho" closes as a stripped-back, direct cut that brings together all that has been woven before. Overall, the record showcases Robag’s fine instinct for balancing emotion and rhythm.

The “Mech03” compilation on Méchante brings together four distinct contributions on a 12" release, continuing the label’s trajectory toward club-oriented electronic music. On the record, DAV, Ohara, Nizar Sararki, and Rossiter each present a complementary approach that comes together as a dense yet varied set, clearly bridging the gap between minimal, techno, and tech-house.

Musically, “Mech03” focuses on dubby textures and groovy, driving rhythms. The productions work with rhythmic density, occasional bass figures, and sparingly used effects that leave room for DJs while making statements of their own. Each of the four tracks develops its own momentum: from extended, delay-soaked passages and straighter, percussion-focused tracks to stripped-back versions built around minimal elements. Together, they create a polished, dancefloor-oriented atmosphere. With this 12" release, Méchante emphasizes nuanced club music and offers “Mech03” as a compact selection of productions that hold their own both as individual building blocks in mixes and as part of a continuous set.

The “Endless / Purge” 12" released on Confusion Is Next To Happiness is a split release by Efdemin and .Vril, bringing back the material originally issued in 2021 in revised and expanded form. The recordings have been newly mixed and remastered by Rashad Becker; in addition, a previously unreleased .Vril reinterpretation of “Endless” expands the tracklist, while the two main pieces encounter each other in remix versions.

Musically, “Endless / Purge” moves within a field of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house: arpeggiated sequences run through finely textured dub shrouds, connecting physical propulsion with a floating sense of weightlessness. Efdemin and .Vril retain their unmistakable sonic signatures, while the record channels a melancholic futurism and the machine-driven pulse of the Motor City tradition. The arrangement work emphasizes subtle dynamics and spatial depth; individual motifs are varied across different versions, so the release works both as a directly playable DJ tool and as a dense, detail-oriented studio piece. “Endless / Purge” is thus less a collection of versions than a concentrated encounter between two voices that recalibrate their shared sound across remixes and a new version.

Released on Risk/Reward, the “Friends In Low Places” 12" by Archie Hamilton takes the British producer back into the denser, groove‑oriented realms of tech house and minimal. On the EP, Hamilton presents three original cuts and a powerful remix version, with the tone oscillating between rolling basslines, acid‑soaked synth lines, and precisely placed percussion elements. Archie’s signature remains recognizable: organic groove architectures meet clear, club‑ready structures that accommodate both peak‑time and deep‑floor moments.

Opening cut “NyLon” leans on Italo‑tinged melodies and floating pads, while “No Signal” grabs hold with trademark 303 attitude and punchy rhythms. “Higher” strips the arrangement back to a steady, hypnotic drive before Gideon Jackson reshapes the track in a hefty bump remix, giving the material extra weight. With “Friends In Low Places,” Risk/Reward and Archie Hamilton deliver a compact 12" distinguished by coherent production, fine sonic details, and a consistent focus on dance floor‑ready dynamics. Fans of precise, contemporary tech house will find clear, DJ‑ready tools here for sets and clubs.

"Röntgen" is Ø's (aka Mika Vainio) subliminal minimal techno classic, originally featured on the first Sähkö Recordings release in 1993. Spatial, silvery-sharp and reduced yet frenetic, it is a blueprint of drum-machine and synth work that helped redefine an era in techno. This special-edition 12" also features a full-side cut of a previously unreleased Ø track from 1995. The untitled B-side uses minimal Tr-808 and acidic synthesis but introduces a subtle warm melody towards the end. This 12" is cut with loud volume for excellent club use.

The “Sustain” 12" by Altinbas is released on Fuse Imprint and brings four tracks with a total running time of around 23 minutes to physical record shelves. The release brings together electronic pieces whose structure clearly aims for a balance between club functionality and atmospheric depth, and which really come into their own on the 12" format.

Musically, “Sustain” operates in the realm of rhythm-focused techno aesthetics: evolving melodic arcs, deliberately placed filter sweeps, and calculated build-ups shape the compositions. A solid bass foundation and precise percussion create space for hypnotic passages, while the arrangements are geared toward sustained tension and dance floor use. These characteristics underline the orientation of the release as a club-oriented yet sophisticated 12".

Altinbas has been active in the Brussels scene for some time and runs his own label project, Observer Station; his releases on Token and now on Fuse Imprint show a constant evolution of his sound. On “Sustain” he brings together seasoned production finesse and a feel for melodic density, making the 12" appealing both to DJs and to listeners who appreciate a carefully crafted, danceable techno sound.

The Static Collector EP 12" by Harry, released on High Altitude, marks the label’s third catalog entry and once again brings the Australian-born, Berlin-based producer to the center of the small but defining vinyl program. With this release, High Altitude continues to develop its label profile and presents Harry’s contribution as a standalone 12" that further explores the relationship between producer and imprint.

Musically, the Static Collector EP comprises four tracks, including the cuts listed in the announcement, “It’s Not Working” and “Paranormal Activities,” which, together with “French Inspection” and “Who Are You,” form the set and clearly underscore the electro focus of the record. The production puts emphasis on precise arrangements and compositional clarity, as suggested by the track titles themselves, without resorting to artificial genre expansions. For collectors and DJs, this 12" on High Altitude delivers a concise contribution to the contemporary electro scene and continues the label’s series with Harry’s third release on the imprint.

The 12-inch “Traverse E.P.” by A.Wild, released on Outer Heaven, is a compact four-track release with which the New York label continues its series while putting a young British producer in the spotlight. Outer Heaven presents A.Wild’s “Traverse E.P.” in a setting that moves between techno, minimal and tech-house; the retail price is around 18.50 euros.

Musically, A.Wild offers pronounced rhythms and pared-back soundscapes on “Traverse E.P.”: the title track, “Traverse,” opens with a driving groove and ghostly-sounding synth choirs, while “Techtonic” works with stoic energy and droning textures. On the B-side, “O O O” focuses on organic peak-time qualities, and “Wise Guy” closes with a mischievous spoken passage that gives the sequence a surprising finale. These four tracks showcase A.Wild’s affinity for acid and minimal elements as well as experimental touches, fitting seamlessly into the Outer Heaven catalog.

The production focuses on prominent groove elements and sparse yet effective sound design, making “Traverse E.P.” a concise statement within the current techno and minimal scene. With this release, Outer Heaven underscores its ambition to present contemporary club music in clearly defined, vinyl-focused formats.

The picture-disc edition of Harvey McKay’s “Table For One” 12-inch is released on Systematic in a strictly limited edition of 500 copies. The release brings the distinctive sonic language of the Glasgow-based producer to vinyl for the first time, combining powerful techno with hypnotic repetition, precise rhythms, and pronounced musical depth.

At the center is the original version of “Table For One,” driven by propulsive energy and consistent minimalism. The B-side features a remix by Marc Romboy, which reimagines McKay’s characteristic production and further sharpens the tension between raw club power and clear structure. The 12-inch is rounded out by “Mycelium,” another track that combines repetitive patterns, technical precision, and an immediate dance-floor impact.

“Table For One” was originally available as a digital release on Systematic and appeared in 2023 alongside the Marc Romboy remix and “Mycelium.” Following Harvey McKay’s death in spring 2026, the release takes on additional significance: with it, Systematic and Marc Romboy pay tribute to a producer whose music is meant to endure beyond clubs, DJs, and dance floors. The picture disc preserves three defining works from his catalog while also serving as the first vinyl edition of “Table For One.”

The “Omakase 001 2026 Repress” by Antraum (Traumer & Anton) appears as a 12-inch release on the Omakase label and brings together the collaboration between the two producers in compact form. The record collects the tracks “Ichi,” “go (le porc du havre)” and “ju,” and in this edition is shipped without the original sleeve, marking it as a collector’s item with reduced packaging.

Musically, the release moves within a spectrum between deep house, house, and stripped-back club music. Characteristic elements include a deeply centered low-end foundation, acid-like textures, and the targeted use of vocal samples that lend the tracks a sound that is both psychedelic and soulful. The arrangements rely on subtle modulations and rhythmic reduction, allowing the pieces to unfold their full effect both in DJ sets and in focused listening.

Behind the project are Traumer, a mainstay within the Yoyaku camp, and the up-and-coming Anton, who produce together under the name Antraum. Their joint exploration of minimalist structures and nuanced groove defines the profile of the Omakase label and makes this repress a clear statement within the current house scene.

The 12" "Incandescence" by Arkajo brings two new tracks to Aniara: "Incandescence" on the A-side, followed by "Writhe" on the B-side. The release explores the interplay between light and shadow; a shimmering, sun-drenched house cut meets a more darkly contoured, drum-driven groover. Both tracks work with forward-driving rhythms and build a propulsive momentum that keeps the arrangements alive.

Musically, Arkajo relies on wide pads, clear chord textures, and a percussive bass foundation that leaves room for fine, glittering details. The A-side feels warm and open, with melodic elements breathing over a solid four-to-the-floor, while the B-side moves in a more direct rhythmic manner, working with accented drums and a darker tonal color. Vocals and samples recede into the background in favor of an instrument-focused club aesthetic.

Arkajo is known as the solo project of a producer well connected in the Swedish scene and as part of the Aniara cosmos, whose releases regularly oscillate between dreamy expansiveness and dance floor-oriented directness. This 12" falls squarely within that spectrum and once again demonstrates the ability to be both atmospheric and functional on the dance floor.

The “Wjlb Tracks” 12" by Rhythim Is Rhythim is released on their own Rhythim Is Rhythim label as a one-sided pressing and serves as a brief historical document of Derrick May’s DJ practice. The roughly 14:12-long mix was originally put together in 1989 as a special “Mayday Mix” for a radio show on WJLB, performed live on keyboards, and links unreleased versions of classics such as “Nude Photo 88” and “Strings Of Life” into a seamless opening that reflects May’s approach to DJ sets at the time.

The released material is based on an off-air recording made by a listener that later entered Richie Hawtin’s archive, where he preserved it; this recording has been carefully restored and, with the artist’s approval, mastered. The A-side is cut as one continuous track and visually divided into eight segments, while the flip side features a custom laser etching. With “Wjlb Tracks,” Rhythim Is Rhythim presents a compact, editorially annotated edition of that broadcast montage, which is equally significant for collectors and for those interested in historically important moments in the development of Detroit techno.

Rhythm Section International proudly presents it’s 8th offering from local boys Chaos in the CBD. Born in New Zealand, but based in Peckham for the last few years, these brothers have made a real mark on the scene here in London town and with their latest set of productions are set to take this message further afield. Having already released internationally on labels such as ClekClekBoom (Paris), Hot Haus (London) and Amadeus (Montreal), the duo’s approach to production has matured immeasurably in the last year, as is evident in the restrained potency and poetic subtlety on the 4 tracks across this accomplished EP, Midnight in Peckham. Taking it’s title from the locale the boys have come to know as home, the record channels a delicate late night energy - equally indebted to the hypnotic incantations of Ron Trent as it is to the hazy suburban atmospheres of Burial. These 4 classic cuts pay homage to deep house in it’s truest sense - at once sublime, melancholy and meditative . Chaos in the CBD have clearly taken their cue from the mid-west masters of the genre but have not been afraid to let their own influences and environ creep in, and in doing so have created something that is unmistakablely London and infact, timeless.

The Kosmische Advice 12" by Roman Flügel and Phil Kieran, released on Phil Kieran, marks the first joint release by the two producers and brings together four carefully placed tracks on a single side of DJ-ready material. Recorded between Belfast and Berlin, the EP showcases a direct, performance-based approach: the title track was created in a single evening in Belfast, when Flügel was a guest at Kieran’s Leatherette club night, and it remains largely in its original performance form.

The tracklist is straightforward: “Kosmische Advice,” “Wall To Wall,” “Clock Line Sinker,” and “Clock Line” give the 12" a coherent sequence of motifs and variations. Musically, the production blends elements of techno, minimal, and tech house; rhythmic precision and a stripped-back, detail-focused approach to arrangement create space for subtle modular developments. The collaboration between Roman Flügel and Phil Kieran emphasizes compositional economy and spontaneous studio intuition, both clearly audible in the transitions and the play with hypnotic patterns.

With the release on the Phil Kieran label, the duo sets a precise, club-focused accent that brings out both the immediate live energy and the crafted studio work of everyone involved.
