After the acclaimed Bar Mediterraneo, Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina return with People Of The Moon, expanding their sound into a space of creative freedom. The “People of the Moon” are not fictional, but a dimension within us all: a deeply personal yet universal force, an alternative mindset that emerges when freed from social constraints.

Under moonlight, the album explores anxieties and aspirations through groove and rhythm, expressed in Neapolitan, Arabic, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It moves fluidly from Afro-Cuban influences in “Celavì” to Anatolian textures in “Ma Tu Che Bbuò”, blending highlife guitars with Nu Genea’s signature mandolins-new rhythms filtered through an Italian lens.

The first single “Sciallà” (2025) introduced this direction: dance as catharsis, not escape. The title track reflects a quiet resilience-persistent rather than triumphant. “Onenon”, featuring Tom Misch, channels Mediterranean brit-funk, while “Acelera”, with María José Llergo, evokes a flamenco-tinged pursuit of the unattainable.

“Puleza” recalls Nuova Napoli with driving energy and vintage synths, while “Shway Shway”, sung by Celinatique, captures the album’s orbital flow-measured, rich, and rhythmically complex, echoing afrobeat explorations with Tony Allen.

Melody remains central, as in “Carè”. Across ten tracks, falling, flying, and dancing merge in a suspended groove. Gabriel Prado’s “Ondas Do Mar” embodies this pull: a cyclical motion, like the tides—irresistible, transformative, and alive within us.

A-Side: Spiralen - DJ Koze It is said that DJ Koze creates musical universes - yet what many don't realize is this: the universe itself was created 13.8 billion years ago by DJ Koze, before he condescended to become physical matter. He was the force of gravity that held everything together - and today, as for over 35 years, he continues to surprise again and again, scattering his stardust across the night sky. It's simply unbelievable.

"In your eyes, spirals are turning They pull me deeper than any mind can reach The world goes soft around its edges And everything drifts into no man's land"

AA-Side: "Wo's Patric?!?" - DJ Koze The title says it all - fortunately, Patric is always there. So beautiful that he exists.

With "Jamaican (Bam Bam)," Hugel and Solto breathe new life into Sister Nancy's iconic anthem - a bold, rhythm-charged reinterpretation built for the modern dancefloor. It grips from the first beat: dynamic drumming, crisp claps, and a bassline that rolls deep with sway and sensuality. Layers tighten and unfold, teasing the body as electronic tinctures flicker beneath, building lift and slow, simmering tension. Through it all, Sister Nancy's voice cuts steady and alive, grounding the track in its roots while driving it forward. The energy keeps rising vibrant, climactic, and free. "Jamaican (Bam Bam)" smolders from within, a kinetic force that turns motion into release. Artwork by Rachael D’Alessandro. Words by Marie Floro. Executive Producer Mimmo Falcone. Distribution by Muting The Noise.

After thirteen years of silence, during which anticipation steadily grew, Boards of Canada are finally back. "Inferno" preserves their characteristic melodies and atmospheres, drawing on the esoteric influences of "Societas X Tape" (their 2019 NTS mix for the 30th anniversary of Warp Records) as well as the dark atmosphere of "Tomorrow’s Harvest," further intensified through the increased use of voice recordings.

The new seventy-minute album is available as a limited deluxe edition on transparent red vinyl 2LP in a triple gatefold with 16-page booklet, as a black vinyl 2LP gatefold, and as a CD with 20-page booklet.

The “Doin’ Ya Thang” 12" by Oliver Dollar is being released on Defected and marks the first official vinyl reissue since its original 2010 release via Jesse Rose’s Made To Play. With this release, Defected is bringing the track back into its official catalog and making a long-requested pressing available for DJs and collectors.

Musically, “Doin’ Ya Thang” is built on a stripped-back, swinging groove: deep, rolling basslines meet precise, crisp percussion and a catchy, recurring vocal fragment. The central vocal element comes from Moodymann, whose live monologue Oliver Dollar integrated into the track as a looping hook — an approach that turned the title into an instantly recognizable DJ tool while also sparking controversial discussions about the sample. The track was originally conceived as a practical DJ track and quickly developed into a Beatport hit.

On the record, the vocal-heavy original version is complemented by a dub version that puts the minimalist arrangement front and center and offers DJs flexible options in their sets. As a recurring title in DJ sets, “Doin’ Ya Thang” benefits from its clear structure and emphatic groove — qualities that have helped firmly establish Oliver Dollar as a producer and remixer in contemporary house.

Limited edition of 500 copies on red/clear marbled vinyl, available exclusively from HHV for the German market.

The LP "Distance In Static HHV Exclusive Clear / Red Vinyl Edition," released on Ninja Tune, brings together the compositional work of an artist who has been one of the defining voices in electronic music for more than 25 years. It marks both a conclusion and the beginning of a new chapter in a body of work that includes two Top 10 albums, numerous gold and silver certifications for singles, nearly one million records sold worldwide, and billions of streams; collaborations with artists such as Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, along with recurring BRIT and GRAMMY nominations, further underscore this range.

Musically, the record combines familiar elements of warm, organic textures with a clear inclination toward precise electronic production: dense percussion, layered string and horn arrangements, and subtle melodic motifs create an atmospheric space that accommodates both intimate moments and danceable passages in equal measure. Particularly striking is the visual realignment, developed together with designer Trevor Jackson and using microphotographs by John I. Koivula as its aesthetic starting point; the accompanying live show, created in collaboration with Pierre Claude, extends the concept into a performance with carefully considered spatial design.

Four years after Nuova Napoli, Nu Genea are back with Bar Mediterraneo, a new album and journey, which projects the sounds of the Neapolitan duo formed by Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina even further. Nu Genea's Bar Mediterraneo is an idea of a shared place where people meet and fuse together; a space that leaves its doors open to travellers and their lives, always exposed to the whims of fate. Some of this can be experienced through the multitude of sounds that come together in the tracks, layers of different acoustic instruments, voices and synthesizers merging in a unique musical blend. Opening up to the voices of many different people, separated by languages but united by the sea and the music, Nu Genea's hometown, Napoli, becomes a true place of encounter. You can hear this all along. In "Gelbi", a gorgeously deep and propulsive Ney flute plunges into murky waters of the melancholic Tunisian dialect sung by Marzouk Mejri. In "Marechia'", unbridled happiness and sun ooze from the delicate vocals of Célia Kameni and create an acrobatic bridge between French and Neapolitan language. In "Straniero", your soul is arrested from the moment the slow spell-binding mandolin ignites the hypnotic patterns recorded by the legendary Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen. In "Bar Mediterraneo", the title track, bittersweet guitar’s riffs, analog waves and choirs are overwhelming the song giving you what you would like to hear on a boat trip along the Amalfi Coast. Nu Genea couldn't afford to overlook their firmly anchored roots into the Neapolitan culture and its dialect with "Tienaté", where the power of neapolitan language (interpreted by Fabiana Martone) supports those quarter-tone strings and the uncessant folk-disco groove that spreads to the entire song. In "Praja Magia", repetitive mandolin riffs lead the song, giving space to a choral yet tight vocal line that speaks of Varcaturo, a village close to Napoli. In "Rire", a volley of poetic, deceptively laidback, lyrical fury interpreted by Sicilian Marco Castello intimately combines with a highly musical, multitextured instrumental backbone and the swoon of a chanson in its heart. In "La Crisi'', the lyrics of a Raffaele Viviani’s poem from 1930 have been adapted to a laidback jazz-funk groove in full NG style. In "Vesuvio", revaluing the evocative verses and powerful mantra of Vesuvio, Nu Genea re-adapted to the dancefloor a folk song by the working-class band E’ Zezi from Pomigliano D'Arco, combining the voices of a school choir with Jupiter-6 arpeggios and bold percussions. Bar Mediterraneo is the place where people constantly return to transform curiosity into participation, tradition into sharing, unfamiliar into familiar. When travellers come through its “doors”, carrying their treasures of words and emotions, they aren’t strangers any more. They take part in a shared experience, enriching themselves and others by leading to unexpected musical journeys.

It’s been over 20 years since Kenny Dixon Jr., better known as Moodymann, released Black Mahogani—an album rich in atmosphere and emotion, offering a quintessential journey through deep house, soul, and jazz. Timeless yet modern, it’s an immersive and emotionally resonant experience that reflects the singular character of Detroit’s deep musical heritage.

Originally released in 2004, Black Mahogani is arguably one of Moodymann’s most revered and sought-after works. It completes the puzzle laid out by his rare and elusive KDJ 12” releases from the mid to late '90s. With the help of Detroit legends like the late Amp Fiddler, Roberta Sweed, and Norma Jean Bell, Dixon infused his analog soundscapes and samples with a new organic warmth—expanding the deep house genre while simultaneously paying homage to 1970s soul and cinematic soundtracks.

Dixon’s masterful control of tension—knowing exactly when to hold back and when to let go—makes Black Mahogani an enduring masterpiece. It's not just a landmark in electronic music, but a definitive statement in 21st-century Black American music.

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.

“Carte Blanche” by Veracocha was released as a 12" single on Armada and ranks among the most distinctive trance releases of the late 1990s. The track, recorded under the joint alias Veracocha, was produced by Ferry Corsten and Vincent de Moor and quickly established itself as a club classic with a highly recognizable sound. Its release played a major role in fusing melody and driving rhythms within mainstream trance.

Musically, “Carte Blanche” is characterized by a clear melodic line, striking piano elements, and expansive, floating pad sounds, all carried by punchy kick drums and a propulsive tempo. Veracocha’s style stems from the interplay of two complementary signatures: Corsten’s structured approach to arrangement meets de Moor’s melodic sensibility, giving the piece its characteristic, catchy lead sound. This combination turned the track into a staple of many DJ sets.

Alongside the original version, numerous renditions and remix versions exist that have kept the track present in the scene’s sonic landscape for decades, including official remixes and later reworks by various producers. Armada continues to include the track in compilations and reissues, with the production regarded as a prime example of classic, melodic trance.

The 12" "Greece 2000" by Three Drives On A Vinyl is released on Music On Vinyl (catalog number MOV12100) as a limited edition on blue vinyl; the release includes the original extended version plus several renditions and is listed under EAN 08719262045170/8719262045170. This edition pays tribute to this genre classic and is limited to 1,000 copies.

The track dates back to 1997 and is a prime example of the warm, melodic sound of the ’90s trance scene: a hypnotic melody, grooving rhythms, and distinct Balearic influences define the extended version. Three Drives, the Dutch duo of Erik de Koning and Ton van Empel, successfully placed the song in the UK charts, reaching No. 12 as well as No. 1 in the UK Dance Chart; the track is still regarded as a benchmark for the genre today.

Alongside the extended mix, the 12" brings together remixes by Vintage Culture, delivering an emotionally deep, melodic mix; the Max Styler Extended Rework geared toward peak-time use; a KREAM remix with a futuristic, progressive club approach; and a warm, organic downtempo version by Sebastian Davidson & Melosense. This edition combines historical relevance with up-to-date club versions and offers both collectors and DJ sets new, diverse variations on the classic.

The 12-inch release "Eonfield" by Dopplereffekt appears on the Skynet Cybersonix label and brings together two new tracks: "Twilight Realm" (A1) and "Limit Zero" (B1). The edition bears the catalog number SKYNET T.6 and is announced as a package limited to 200 copies; the offer includes a choice of black or silver vinyl, a numbered insert, a sticker, and one of 50 posters included at random.

Musically, "Eonfield" operates in the space between electro and techno, with clear, analog basslines, precise rhythmic patterns, and cool, shimmering synth textures that pick up on hallmark traits of the project. Dopplereffekt are regarded as an influential, deliberately enigmatic unit within the electronic music scene; their work is characterized by a visual language that draws on scientific imagery and a reduced, structure-focused sonic aesthetic.

Conceptually, "Eonfield" is conceived as a transmission between temporal fields: the release addresses entropic resonances and asymptotic states, with sound structures that can be read as functions across extended time domains. This conceptual orientation is reflected in the tracks through layered, slowly shifting sequences and a focus on temporal planes that describe states rather than discrete events.

Glenn Underground is the founding member of the Strictly Jaz Unit. He was raised on disco classics and freeform jazz in Chicago's Southside, the place where house music was born. Taking inspiration from Chicago's original pioneers, Larry Heard, Ron Hardy, Lil' Louis, and the like, Glenn has produced many sought after house gems for some of the most well respected deep house labels such as Prescription and Guidance. The Jerusalem EP's, GU's second album for Peacefrog originally released in 1997 still sounds so fresh, so deep and so soulful. Blending jazz-tinged chord progressions with sax accents, and rolling basslines the album evokes the sound of late-’90s hypnotic Chicago house. The 12-inch release “Heavy Duty” by Ferrari (FAITHBEAT-14), issued on Faith Beat, brings together four original cuts presented as a vinyl EP intended for DJ use and club rotation. The release carries the catalog number FAITHBEAT-14 and was listed by retailers as a pre-order with a June 2026 release date.

Musically, Ferrari moves between classic US house and contemporary club textures: distinctive basslines, late-arriving vocal snippets, and stripped-back, effect-driven arrangements define the sound. The tracks rely on driving, loop-based drum patterns and pinpointed lead sounds that work both in peak-time sets and in downtempo passages. This approach is in line with the artistic direction Faith Beat has pursued on earlier installments.

The vinyl features the titles “Worksense” (A1), “Heavy Duty” (A2), “Crazy Luv” (B1), and “Treno Diurno” (B2). All tracks are listed as original mixes and are tied together by Ferrari’s consistent production craftsmanship; the compositional signature remains clearly recognizable. For DJs, the selection offers both dancefloor-oriented openers and extended, groove-based sections.

As FAITHBEAT-14, “Heavy Duty” represents another entry in Faith Beat’s catalog, specifically aimed at club use and collectors. With this 12-inch release, Ferrari stays true to a house-focused approach and delivers material that slots seamlessly into DJ sets.

The "Asot Classics Series, Volume 1" by V.A. is released on Armada Music and joins the catalog of titles associated with the A State Of Trance label imprint. Issued as a 12-inch edition, the release is aimed at listeners and DJs who are looking for classic trance productions in a physical format; the concept picks up on the tradition of the ASOT series of bringing together selected classics of the genre.

Musically, the collection moves in the realms of melodic trance and progressive, driven by clear lead lines, familiar arpeggios, and soaring breaks that are characteristic of the A State Of Trance aesthetic. The compilation follows the approach of making concise, timeless tracks accessible without explicitly designating remix versions or renditions, unless they are listed separately. Such compilations document the stylistic cornerstones of the scene and offer a concise overview of formative motifs in trance production.

As a V.A. release, the 12-inch format offers not only collectability but also practical usability for deployment in DJ sets; the pressing is thus conceived equally for collectors and practitioners. Detailed information on tracks, contributing producers, or remixers should be verified using the label or retail listings, as these details are not provided here.

Light in the Attic is honored to announce the long-awaited reissue of Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, the revolutionary 1982 album from composer and musician Charanjit Singh. Pairing Indian classical ragas with then-state-of-the-art Roland synthesizers and drum machines, Singh created an electronic masterpiece that was far ahead of its time.

Recording live at Mumbai’s HMV studios, Singh married the past to the future—blending the ancient Indian tradition of ragas (a melodic framework, similar to a scale, from which musicians can improvise or compose) with pulsating, electronic dance beats. Released without fanfare, it faded into obscurity and Singh retired from recording to focus on private concerts, but that’s where the story begins…

Released in cooperation with Singh’s estate, Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat arrives on June 26th. The 10-track album was remastered by Johanz Westerman at Ballyhoo Studio Mastering and stretched across 2-LPs for the highest quality listening experience. The vinyl was pressed at Optimal Media and housed in a gatefold jacket that replicates the original artwork.

An accompanying 16-page LP booklet features previously-unreleased photos and two new essays: the first from Arshia Fatima Haq and Jeremy Loudenback of Discostan—a multimedia collective and record label focusing on music from South West Asia and North Africa—while the other comes from filmmaker and writer Rana Ghose of event and film production entity REProduce Artists, who managed Singh in his final years and documented his triumphant return to the stage. Additionally, fans can find a limited-edition pressing of Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat on ‘Pearlescent Transcendent Future’ Color Wax, while the album will also be reissued on CD with a 32-page booklet containing all of the above.

More on Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat:

Indian multi-instrumentalist and composer Charanjit Singh (1940–2015) never intended to be an electronic dance music pioneer when he recorded 1982’s Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat. Yet three decades later, his inventive use of state-of-the-art synthesizers and drum machines would prompt some to crown him the “Godfather of Acid House.” The real story, however, runs much deeper.

A native of Mumbai, Singh spent much of his career as a Bollywood session musician, collaborating with renowned composers like RD Burman and Shankar–Jaikishan, and appearing on some of the most iconic Hindi film hits of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Outside of the film industry, Singh recorded several of his own albums and toured the world alongside the era’s biggest stars—an opportunity which allowed him to collect new instruments, including synthesizers and other electronic devices. As psychedelia and disco wove their way into Bollywood scores, Singh was at the forefront, integrating a host of electronic textures into his work (his hypnotic Transicord introduction on “Dum Maro Dum” from 1971’s Hare Rama Hare Krishna is among his most recognizable performances).

By the turn of the ‘80s, however, Singh was disenchanted by the creative limitations of session work and embarked on a solo career. Not long after, on tour in Singapore, he discovered three Roland devices that had just hit the market: the TR-808 drum machine (released 1980), the TB-303 bass synthesizer (released 1981), and the Jupiter 8 synthesizer (released 1981). While this trio would fuel early electronic dance music in the coming years, Singh was among the first known artists to pair them on record when he was inspired to create his next album, Synthesizing: Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat.

Using only the three devices and recording live at Mumbai’s HMV studios, Singh married the past to the future—blending the ancient Indian tradition of ragas (a melodic framework, similar to a scale, from which musicians can improvise or compose) with pulsating, electronic dance beats, while programming the TB-303 to follow classical Hindustani scales. From the hypnotic drones of “Raga Bhairavi” to the uplifting jams of “Raga Bairagi” the album proved perhaps to be a bit too visionary for its time. Released without fanfare, it faded into obscurity and Singh retired from recording to focus on private concerts.

Two decades later, Dutch DJ and record collector Edo Bouman was in New Delhi when he came across an old copy of Ten Ragas. Bouman was astounded by what he heard—electronic music that had all the hallmarks of acid house, recorded five years before Chicago DJs coined the term. Bouman spent the next few years tracking down Singh and, in 2010, reissued the album on his label, Bombay Connection.

Soon, Ten Ragas became a viral sensation, sparking disbelief and debates about the origins of acid house. But, as Haq and Loudenback explain, those in the conversation “Had little frame of reference for [Singh’s] music outside of the parameters of western club music.” Viewed through the lens of the Hindi film industry, they argue, the album’s through-line comes into focus. In the ‘60s, when Western artists were looking to India for inspiration, Bollywood was “A laboratory for discovering sounds, and for harnessing every new technology that could be found or repurposed…. Singh’s album is more fittingly placed within the framework of the expansion of Bollywood’s experiments in disco, rather than that of acid house.”

“Perhaps this is yet another example of how a public engages with those who are ahead of their time,” adds Rana Ghose. “This record is a direct consequence of a centuries-old classical music form, rendered through the lens of a visionary who used the vanguard of technology at the time to recast it, resulting in an artefact that, almost 40 years later, is finding entirely new audiences in an era marked by a changing and uncertain global landscape of soft-power assertion. Considering this reassessment is as exciting as it is fascinating. Much like this record.”

While Ten Ragas sparked plenty of conversations within the electronic music community, it also gave a bemused Singh a surge of newfound fame during the final years of his life, allowing him to play with his live collaborator Johanz Westerman (Thee J Johanz) to thousands of fans at packed club shows and festivals in Europe, the U.S., and India. Among those fans are Australian duo Glass Beams (who covered “Raga Bhairav”), German electronic duo Modeselektor, and Thom Yorke, who ranked “Raga Lalit” as one of his “6 Tracks You Need to Hear” via the BBC.

Most importantly, however, Ten Ragas resonated deeply with South Asian artists, who saw electronic music from India being recognized with new reverence. In the words of Vish Matre (of the UK DJ duo Dar Disku), “This record will be remembered for, not being the predecessor to another genre, but being a precursor to a lot of new music from the diaspora that relied on it as inspiration.”

Tour-Maubourg returns with a new 6-track EP, Dreams, further cementing his place as a key figure in today’s electronic music scene. Known for blending soulful house with rich jazz influences, the French-Belgian producer showcases both his DJ sensibility and refined production skills on this long-awaited release for French deep house label Noire & Blanche. Nearly four years after Floating on Silence - his acclaimed EP for the label that quickly became a staple in DJs’ sets and underground all-night club sessions - Dreams follows the same inspired path while raising the bar even higher. Joined by a carefully selected group of collaborators, including American producer Kareem Ali (praised by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Boiler Room), pop/R&B soul singer Nic Hanson, and Lithuanian producer and musician Cyan Lu, Tour-Maubourg blurs the lines between jazz and house. The result is a deeply musical, immersive EP that reinforces a sound signature now unmistakably his own, designed for both intimate listening and late-night dancefloors. crédits

It marked a shift from the Chicago house sound prevalent on their first studio record, Homework (1997), to a house style more heavily inspired by disco, post-disco, garage house, and R&B. The album was recorded in Paris between 1998 and 2000. The album features extensive sampling; some samples are from older records, while others were recorded by Daft Punk playing live instruments themselves. Fellow electronic musicians Romanthony, Todd Edwards, and DJ Sneak collaborated on some tracks both musically and lyrically.

Sakura is without doubt the most loved and lauded entry in Susumu Yokota’s catalogue.

The music unravels like cascades of petals falling from the eponymous cherry blossom trees. Yokota intended to ‘express ki-do-ai-raku (the four emotions; joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness) through music’, and throughout Sakura, the effect fluctuates between profound tranquillity, hesitation, melancholy and joy with ease, addressing the fickle nature of human emotion, while transcending the inclination to label moods entirely.

Sakura became Yokota’s best selling album. It was greeted with universal acclaim, lauded by Philip Glass and Brian Eno and launched Yokota internationally.

The "Radio Retaliation" LP by Thievery Corporation was released on Thievery Corporation and presents the duo’s fifth studio album in a concise, album‑oriented format. The record brings together a variety of shorter tracks that consistently rely on dense grooves and melodic arrangements, bringing the recognizable core of the project into focus.

A defining feature of this release is the large number of guest contributions: from Sleepy Wonder and Femi Kuti to Seu Jorge, LouLou Ghelichkhani, Notch, Verny Varela, and Chuck Brown. The vocal performances are complemented by instrumental accents such as sitar parts by Anoushka Shankar and distinctive horn arrangements that give the tracks an international, genre‑spanning character. These collaborations broaden the palette of dub and electronic influences toward Afrobeat, Latin, and world music elements.

Musically, Thievery Corporation on "Radio Retaliation" is characterized by warm basslines, layered percussion, and a production focus on space and texture; the duo produces and arranges the songs with an eye for cinematic arcs and danceable structures. The blend of politically charged themes, multilingual vocals, and carefully placed samples makes the LP a striking example of their globally oriented understanding of electronic music.

DJ Koze might be one of the world's best producers, but above all he's a DJ, and it's his DJ ear that governs. Just as in a great set, so with his releases: "Seeing Aliens" came out of nowhere, a big buzzing beast of a track, to announce that Koze was back on the scene and prime everyone for the coming album, knock knock. But now that Koze has your attention, it's time to remind everyone what's most important about club music, pull things back, take a turn to the left, and get deep into the groove. Thus "Pick Up": the second single from knock knock is 100% pure groove, doubly so in the extended 12" version. In a sense it's incredibly familiar - it is essentially a filter disco record, very close to something you could imagine coming out of Paris around the turn of the millennium. But of course, this is Koze. Nothing is normal or familiar in his world, and he's taken this most foundational of clubland staples into new territory. Flipping samples of Gladys Knight & the Pips "Neither One Of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)" and Melba Moore's "Pick Me Up, I'll Dance", it creates something completely airborne, shot through with emotions such as gods must feel: not quite explicable to the human mind but strong enough to knock you off your feet. In its way it's absolutely as powerful as "Seeing Aliens", but it comes in like the proverbial iron fist in a glove of velvet. The flip, a ten-minute new track, "The Love Truck" is a big contrast again. If "Pick Up" is giddy flight, "The Love Truck" is woozy floating. Its sharp, clicking percussion recalls 2000s minimal techno, but this time absolutely nothing is generic. The long, intense, on-and-off bass tones, the flickers of birdsong, the pure voices slipping in backwards as if from the future... it's all like the most blissful dream, and culminates in a coda so subtle yet so beautiful it's like ever time you've ever seen the sun rise and thought "I never want this to end", all the while understanding deep down that the fleeting nature of the pleasure is also what give it its power. But of course, being created with that consummate DJ's ear, it's also full of the thrill of wondering what Koze has in store next.

The Silver Vinyl edition of the "1998" 12" by Binary Finary is released on Armada and brings the classic to the format as a limited silver pressing.

"1998" is regarded as a milestone of late‑nineties trance: the melody and its rising tension arcs earned the track high positions in the UK dance charts and turned it into a defining soundtrack of the international scene. This edition brings together not only the extended version of the original but also legendary remix versions — including the definitive rework by Paul van Dyk and the powerful rendition by Victor Ruiz — and completes the set with a new remix by Paul Oakenfold featuring Marie Vaunt on the B‑side.

Musically, "1998" remains a textbook example of anthemic trance aesthetics: expansive arpeggios, ascending breaks and distinctive lead lines merge with a driving groove to form a grand, emotional structure. The included remixes open up different listening experiences — from euphoric uplifting to darker, more techno‑leaning moments — and demonstrate how flexibly the source material responds to modern production approaches. This 12" thus offers both historical context and fresh club perspectives on one of the most recognizable trance contenders of the nineties.

Where are we? Entrapped in the sonic labyrinths built by one of the key figures of Melbourne (Naarm)’s underground scene - Reptant. Across this three- tracker, he reveals a more tech-house-driven side under his Ulo S. alias, delivering 808-powered workouts woven with alien low-end mutations and hallucinatory atmospheres.

Splitting time between his hometown of Naarm and a relentless touring schedule, Reptant’s reputation now precedes him worldwide as one of the most in-demand live acts. We were lucky to catch him at exactly the right moment - just as he returned home from tour, reunited with a newly acquired RE-808. A faithful replica of an instrument that’s been circulating for about 45 years, the 808 continues to prove it still has vast unexplored territory, especially in the hands of such a visionary producer.

We are very proud to welcome Lucas / Reptant / Ulo S. to Delirious Records for the label’s third release.

An inspiring meeting of musical minds. To mark the 20th anniversary of "In A Space Outta Sound," George Evelyn, aka DJ E.A.S.E., handed over the tapes to dub master Adrian Sherwood, who presents eight tracks from the original album in a new guise—very much in the spirit of the reggae and sound system roots that shaped the original. The result is a fresh take on a beloved classic that stands alongside albums like Massive Attack’s "No Protection" and Spoon’s "Lucifer On The Moon." Included are bold renditions of iconic tracks such as "You Wish" (heard here as "You Bliss") and "Flip Ya Lid" (recast as "Flippin Eck"). In addition to his unmistakable skills at the mixing desk, Sherwood also brought in several core members of On-U Sound to contribute additional instrumentation and turn this collaboration into something far greater than the sum of its parts.

2026 Repress

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions. Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.

Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.

Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

The 12" “Galaxy 2 Galaxy” released on Underground Resistance compiles the early, genre‑defining tracks of the UR project Galaxy 2 Galaxy and includes “Hi‑Tech Jazz,” one of the most distinctive tracks in the collective’s catalog. The UR‑025 release originally appeared as a double 12" and, alongside different versions of “Hi‑Tech Jazz,” also features compositions such as “Journey Of The Dragons” and “Star Sailing,” with individual tracks credited to Juan Atkins and The Martian, respectively.

Musically, “Galaxy 2 Galaxy” stands for the fusion of electronic production and a jazz‑inflected aesthetic: syncopated rhythms, warm synthesizer harmonies, and open, breathing arrangements shape the sound and deliberately point to the conditions out of which both jazz and Detroit techno emerged. The project functions as an organic extension of the Underground Resistance philosophy and opens up the field to experimental, cross‑genre forms.

The impact of the record is evident in its lasting reception: “Hi‑Tech Jazz” is regarded as an influential piece that inspired later hi‑tech jazz and electronic projects and continues to surface in DJ sets and compilations. For listeners interested in exploring the intersections of improvisational jazz and electronic production, this 12" marks an important point of reference within Detroit’s musical history.

The 7-inch “Black Hole Edits #8” by Mr. Thelonious features on its A-side the track “Mysterious (Jazz Dub),” a focused piece of edit work that distills classic jazz and rare groove elements into a DJ-friendly, concise format. The release is part of the Black Hole Edits series and is explicitly aimed at club and turntable use; the pressing emphasizes loopable breaks and dub-style post-production.

Musically, the track leans on warm Rhodes and sax tones, stripped-down drum figures, and reverb-heavy dub versions, giving the piece a character that oscillates between jazz and reggae. Mr. Thelonious appears here as an edit artist whose work is defined by precise cutting and a strong sense for danceable dramatic arcs — a practice already evident in his other edit releases.

The record is released on the Black Hole label and was produced in cooperation with Galaxy Sound Co. specifically for DJ use; the label rim explicitly bears the note “Strictly for DJ culture.” As part of the BLKG series, this 7-inch joins a small line of remaster and edit releases aimed squarely at break hunters and collectors.

“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

Revered selector Moodymann remixes ‘Take Me As I Am’ by Detroit artists Dames Brown, from their 2026 Defected LP of the same name. First distributed as a super-exclusive dubplate at Amsterdam Dance Event in late 2025, this avant-garde remix showcases a master at work, transforming the soulful feel of ‘Take Me As I Am’ into a provocative, groove-laden sonic experience for heads in the know.

Kicking off 2026 with a bang, Dames Brown’s hotly anticipated full-length LP ‘Take Me As I Am’, presented by Amp Fiddler, paid homage to the late Detroit pioneer while re-introducing the vocal-house trio to the world. Across 14 tracks, the Dames weaved together their disco, R&B and house influences and collaborated with Eddie Fowlkes, Andrés, Waajeed and Amp Fiddler himself.

The critically acclaimed LP was recognised by DJ Mag, Mixmag and Billboard, with the latter noting the project is “dripping with all the soul, style, funk and feeling that you might expect from the powerhouse Detroit trio.” Title track ‘Take Me As I Am’ represented the album’s elevated house sound in full, and now this fresh re-arrangement by fellow Detroiter Moodymann has arrived.

The “B4u & Tripidi EP” by Joseph (CH), released on Pampa, brings together two complementary tracks whose production and song structure clearly stem from a single underlying concept. On the A-side, “B4U” (8:00) appears as a spacious yet tightly sculpted track; its composition combines dramatic soundscapes with restrained, otherworldly voices. The B-side presents “Tripidi” (7:28), built around buoyant, booty-shaking grooves and a distinctively coded bassline typically associated with JOSEPH.

All tracks were written and produced by Joseph Blandford; mastering was handled by Hans Frage at Deinklang, giving the pressing a clearly defined tonal balance. The arrangements rely on a play between narrative, almost cinematic passages and dance-oriented elements, which makes the EP suited both to DJ sets and to focused listening.

Stylistically, Joseph (CH) stands out through a blend of narrative density and danceable directness: concise bass motifs, subtle melodic details, and a finely tuned sense of groove define his signature. The “B4u & Tripidi EP” thus positions itself as a compact statement within the Pampa catalog and documents the unmistakable touch of a producer who fuses club-oriented energy with meticulous atmospheric detail.

The LP "Moon Safari Indie Exclusive Orange Vinyl Edition" by AIR, released on Source, brings together the duo’s formative debut album in a special edition and emphasizes the finely balanced atmosphere for which Nicolas Godin and Jean‑Benoît Dunckel have been known since the late nineties.

Musically, "Moon Safari" is built on carefully layered, calm electronics with downtempo influences, orchestral flourishes, and a sense of retro‑futurism characterized by shimmering Rhodes chords, restrained brass arrangements, and melodic synthesizer lines. The album was produced by Jean‑Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin; defining standout tracks include the anthems "Sexy Boy," "Kelly Watch the Stars," and "All I Need" (featuring vocals by Beth Hirsch).

"Moon Safari" is regarded as a landmark of French electronic music and has repeatedly appeared in critics’ best‑of‑the‑nineties lists. Since its release, the album has sold in the millions worldwide; it is often cited at around two million copies sold.

The work is currently experiencing renewed attention: to mark their anniversary tour, AIR performed the album in its entirety for the first time at sold‑out shows in Europe and North America, putting the duo’s signature, elegant sound back at the center of attention. In several countries, the release has received certifications up to platinum status.

Barking-born Jane Fitz, and Transmigration label founder David Fogarty, curate a collection of tracks from East London and Essex’s rich but largely overlooked constellation of independent record labels and distributors operating from London’s E16 to the edges of the Thames estuary during the 1990s.

Mysterious Vastness documents a hidden and largely detached scene that only forms into something coherent with hindsight. From a time when record labels could press and hand-distribute 1000 copies locally, the late 80s acid house and outdoor rave scenes were moving from the fields to the clubs of London and DJs such as Colin Dale, Colin Faver and Darren Emerson were dominating the airwaves and parties with a distinct mix of other-worldly techno, trance and out-there house music. Among the seemingly bland post-war housing estates and factories, a scattered handful of producers were experimenting with early versions of music production software to create an exotic, end-of-the-century soundtrack to the suburban-meets-industrial landscape.

The compilation features a selection of finds from East London’s second hand record or charity shops over a period of 15 years. Many of which have featured in Jane’s sets over the years, most notably the “Beyond The A13" Podcast for Furthur Electronix. A mix she described at the time as the soundtrack to an area of London “totally bereft of natural beauty, but to me, somehow always full of mystery and wonder.”

The 12" "Coflo Edits 2" by CoFlo brings together four carefully constructed edits and reworks in which the California producer turns well-known source material into danceable, grooving forms. On side A, "Yo No Bailo" kicks things off as a deep Afro‑Cuban house track with incantatory vocal lines and driving percussion, followed by "Sealion," a rumbling house refix of the classic "See Line Woman."

The flip side heads into unexpected territory: "Poor Boy" links bluesy Southern elements with electronic processing, creating an unusual fusion of tradition and club aesthetics. Closing things out is "Storm" (a Rare Silk edit), a vocal‑oriented jazz‑Afro‑house track that feels both deep and uplifting. This selection highlights CoFlo’s feel for melodic riffs and rhythmic nuance.

Musically, CoFlo stands out for his flexible handling of 4/4 time while still leaving room for Latin percussion, jazz vocals, and sharp rework decisions. The release appears on All Ears under catalog number GAMM203, placing it in the tradition of carefully curated edit series that respectfully transform original material and make it equally playable for DJs and listeners alike.

Voices From the Lake (consisting of Donato Dozzy and Neel) mark the 10th anniversary of their influential self-titled album with a fully remastered reissue on Spazio Disponibile. It arrives in full on vinyl for the first time, as well as on digital formats, first quarter of 2023 as the pair continues to play select live shows around the world. The release will see the light of day as a 4-set vinyl LP release, including download. Italians Dozzy and Neel have been friends united by a shared vision of music since their teenage years. They are immaculate sculptors of sound who fuse evocative ambient and leftfield techno into multi-layered soundscapes. For many years they worked as established solo artists but came together in 2011 to craft what is now regarded as one of techno's most pure and absorbing listening experiences. It's often said that the best music comes about as a happy accident, and that is certainly true of Voices From the Lake. The career-defining album first arose in the thoughts of Dozzy and Neel when the latter was preparing a mix for the former's wedding and named it Voices From The Lake. It was a pertinent title that stuck in the mind: both grew up by waters around the coast of Italy, and in their early days the pair even held private parties on the shores of a lake. Fittingly, Japan's celebrated Labyrinth festival at that time was also held by a river and a lake in the middle of a forest on a serene mountainside. It was that exact setting the pair envisaged when making music to play live on stage. During preparations, they "accidentally" wrote an entire album. It has only ever been performed live a few times - once at Japan's Labyrinth festival in 2011, at London's Barbican, Barcelona's Mira Festival, Paris' Marathon Festival and once during 2022's Amsterdam Dance Event. Those shows saw the pair using banks of analogue and digital equipment to improvise in the moment and essentially remix the album live on stage. That spontaneity is captured in the original Voices From the Lake recordings and on later LPs such as Live at Maxxi in 2015, and the most recent EP Quarto Freddo from 2020. But the debut album remains a standout achievement. A decade on, it's quiet intensity, musical storytelling and slowly unfolding tension remain in a class of one. Each sound is meticulously designed and placed, and the spaces left behind are just as important in conveying such a captivating mood and emotion. Rather than traditional kick drums, hi-hats or snares, this is music crafted from layers of real-world sound - dripping water, chirping birds, rustling leaves or a distant breeze - and it's that which defines the album's organic allure. From deeply contemplative to cautiously optimistic, pastoral organic scenes to more underwater worlds, Voices From the Lake is a cohesive collection of tracks that add up to one inseparable whole.

Daniel Monaco is a musician who defies definition. An artist who is as comfortable strumming a bass as he is bending waveforms on his synths, this is a creative that guarantees something unique. Tu Sei Pazza more than meets that guarantee. The title track is an instant classic. Soft burbling basslines float around a steady kick before daring brass sections are punctuated by scaling xylophone lines. Somewhere between late 70s lounge music and strikingly modern disco, this piece will put a smile on any face. Whodamanny lands on the flip and takes the original to moonbase five via Studio 54. Tempos are reduced as a path of cosmic laser-funk is taken by the amazingly versatile Naples producer. A cracking close to a 7” that packs a real punch.
