The “No. 9997” 12-inch by STABLO was released in 2011 and presents two concise, untitled tracks that were issued exclusively on vinyl. The release was announced as a strictly limited pressing and came without a digital release; upon its initial distribution, customers were limited to a maximum of one copy each. A Japan-exclusive limited-edition repress followed later, making the record available again in a tightly restricted quantity.

Musically, “No. 9997” operates within the realm of Dub Techno, relying on spacious, echo-drenched textures and pared-down, loop-based rhythms arranged in dense layers. The two sides keep the material short and focused, with tempos of approximately 122 and 124 BPM, respectively, and use bass and delay elements sparingly to give the tracks their weighty subtlety. The release underscores the STABLO label’s stripped-back aesthetic, geared toward DJ use and vinyl playability, and fits into its catalog of concise, club-ready Dub Techno 12-inch releases. For fans of dark, forward-driving studio sketches, the “No. 9997” 12-inch remains a concise addition to the STABLO catalog.

Back in! Repressing of Larry Heard's return into the spotlight with another classic release after all those years! A fantastic 12 presenting the gifted Memphis based vocalist Mr. White (aka Chad White). 'You Rock Me' is a soulful affair, created to be timeless, while 'The Sun Can't Compare' is a fun play with vocals over a typical Larry Heard acid track. Must have for all fans of good house music!!

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” triple LP by Edward is released on Running Back in a gatefold jacket. Gilles Aiken, better known as Edward and active as a resident at Giegling, opens up an archive of his own edits that has grown over the course of many years. The thirteen edits were originally created for DJ sets and have only now been officially compiled for Running Back’s Mastermix series.

Edward does not treat the source tracks as material that fundamentally needs to be improved. His interventions extend passages, shift entries, bring rhythms to the forefront, or alter the emphasis of individual elements. The result is a musical autobiography told through records by other artists. The artists whose tracks he reworked include Carl Craig, Motohiko Hamase, Kirk Degiorgio, Aubrey, Sven Väth, and Michael Rother. With “Twilight (Edward’s Drum Version),” “Opaque (Edward’s Edit),” and “L’Esperanza (Edward’s Spirit Edit),” the selection ranges from Detroit techno and dub techno to Japanese ambient jazz and house, as well as trance and cosmic music.

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” 3LP thus documents Edward’s longstanding connection to the music that has shaped him as a producer and DJ. All tracks were edited and remixed by Edward, Lopazz handled the mastering at Mixmastering.de, and the vinyl was cut at Schallplatten Schneid Technik. Running Back is also releasing the collection on cassette and in digital formats.

The "Beyond The Veil" 12" by Altinbas, released on Ostgut Ton, brings together five carefully crafted tracks that can be understood as an expedition through otherworldly sonic spaces. Altinbas, who has been performing at Berghain on a regular basis since his debut, deepens his work on detailed ambience on this release, combining propulsive rhythms with blossoming synth motifs. The title track serves as a guiding thread through the set, establishing the premise of a conceptual dialog between artist and space.

Musically, "Beyond The Veil" moves between a reduced, tonally refined techno aesthetic and minimal, house-leaning moments, featuring airy textures, hypnotic lead lines, and a tangible inclination toward dubby, atmospheric soundscapes. Tracks like "Charming the Cosmic Snake" work with long arcs of harmonic tension, while the closing "Antichamber" pulls back the rhythmic drive to shape a dreamy, almost meditative final sequence. With solid percussion and organically flowing arrangements, the tracks are designed equally for intense club contexts and focused listening situations. On "Beyond The Veil," Altinbas draws on his proven command of space and dynamics to present a coherent, emotionally charged EP that further consolidates his position as a composer of focused, dance-oriented pieces.

“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

In the early 2000’s, David Coker, Timmy S and Justin Bailey were right at the heart of the UK tech house scene, producing some of the finest classics the genre has known to date. The projects they worked on together quickly became standout
staples and over time those records have turned into proper collector’s pieces.

This reissue on Endell Street brings back one of their most sought after releases. It features the two main tracks from the original release, both carefully remastered and cut one per side. A long lost slice of UK tech house, brought back to life

Oxia’s “Domino 20th Anniversary” 12-inch, released on Armada, pays tribute to an influential club track from the 2000s. “Domino” was originally released in 2006 and became a staple of the melodic house and techno scene with its hypnotic groove and instantly recognizable synthesizer hook.

For the anniversary edition, the original recording was reworked as a “20 Year Remaster.” The A-side retains the track’s characteristic structure, while the refined sonic balance once again brings its central melody and driving rhythm to the forefront. Oxia’s stripped-down, impactful production remains at the core of this reissue.

The B-side features the “Space 92 Extended Remix.” The French producer transforms “Domino” into a more powerful peak-time version, combining the familiar synthesizer hook with a straighter, contemporary techno progression. The 12-inch thus brings together two perspectives: the reworked original version and a contemporary take on the classic that reimagines it for today’s club sets. The “Domino 20th Anniversary” is released as a limited-edition anniversary pressing on Armada and contains only these two versions.

Released on Front Line Frequency, the “Sounds From The Front Line” 12" by Grant Dell brings together four tracks from his back catalog, produced between 2002 and 2005 and now available for the first time collectively on one record. The selection centers on the rolling house groove that brought Grant Dell attention in the early 2000s, channeling that energy into a compact 12" format.

The A-side features “So Good,” originally released on Jay Tripwire’s Spaced Out imprint, as well as “Acid Bubble Baby” featuring DJ Deano, which first appeared on Stupendous; the B-side offers a reissue of the Chicago Transit Authority cut “Still Disillusioned” and “Be Good Tonight,” originally released on Cove Records. All tracks are written and produced by Grant Dell, with the sole exception of the A2 collaboration with DJ Deano; for this edition, the tracks were remastered by Justin Drake. The compilation makes the origins of the tracks clearly audible, linking early releases with an updated sonic presentation and underscoring Front Line Frequency’s focus on Dell’s distinctive club cuts.

What remains: time echoes.

With this first double 12” on Junction Forest, S.O.N.S explores the relationship between time and artistic identity.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ship-Scope” 12" as released on DDS returns as a 2026 pressing in a limited run of 500 copies, remastered from vinyl by Matt Colton. This edition foregrounds the familiar connection between warm dub techno feeling and stripped-back, minimal production, amounting to a precise, carefully updated reappraisal of the piece.

Originally issued on Chain Reaction in 2001, “Ship-Scope” is characterized by an unusually dreamy tonality that sets it apart from many releases of the time; the DDS version brings this dreamy, almost lost-at-sea atmosphere even more clearly to the fore. Especially striking is the dense sense of space and the slowly building tension that turns tracks like “The Red Line” into defining moments of the release.

With this reissue, DDS continued the curatorial work that brought renewed attention to Shinichi Atobe after his resurfaced album “Butterfly Effect.” The remaster by Matt Colton preserves the organic character of the original recordings without smoothing out their fragile texture, making the “Ship-Scope” 12" on DDS a relevant addition for collectors and admirers of the romantic side of deep and dub techno.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ongaku 1” 12" on DDS appears here as a 2026 pressing in an edition of 500 copies and has been mastered by Rashad Becker. The release marks Atobe’s third 12" since his 2001 Chain Reaction debut and coincides with the tenth anniversary of his first DDS album, “Butterfly Effect”; additional editing and mixes come from Miles ov Demdike Stare. With it, DDS launches a new series of limited 12-inch releases in which Atobe subtly develops his signature sound while at the same time probing a stronger sub-bass focus.

Musically, the record’s A-side features “Ongaku 1,” a shimmering, classic-leaning deep house cut that combines delicate ornamentation with precisely sculpted kicks. Feathery dub chords and dark string passages create recurring goosebump moments, while fine details open up in the upper registers. The B-side, “Dub 6(six),” unfolds a psychedelic weave of arpeggios and synth voices, given extra depth by a more forceful bass undercarriage before the kicks set the whole thing swinging on a broader scale. Taken as a whole, “Ongaku 1” sees Shinichi Atobe combine his familiar stripped-back framework with new shadings, yielding some of his most immediate and enduring work.

The Bubbles 12" by Ferg, released on The Naked Dance, comprises four tracks that sit somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house. Two of the cuts operate as high-energy dub-tech-house numbers, complemented by a lighthearted deep house track; the title composition "Bubbles" serves as a counterpoint and an ode to the deeper, more emotional side of Ferg’s productions, which the artist himself describes as the ones that give him the greatest satisfaction.

Musically, the release combines driving club readiness with deliberately deployed melody and a calmer, introspective dimension. The dub-oriented tracks lean into heightened energy and rhythmic density, the deep house cut brings lightness and a floating feel into the set, while "Bubbles" pushes the emotional nuances to the forefront. With this 12" on The Naked Dance, Ferg presents a compact selection that makes a clear statement both for DJ sets and for moments away from the dance floor, highlighting the breadth of his work between groove-centered arrangements and more sensitive, atmospheric moments.

In the fall of 2007, a 26-year-old producer from Cologne named Daso Franke released his 12-inch single on Ghostly’s “Spectral Sound” label. The A-side featured “Meine,” a euphoric, eight-minute rush that thrilled dance floors around the world. Since then, the single has become a true classic. Earlier this year, Resident Advisor named “Meine” one of the best songs of the century so far. In April 2018, Franke passed away after a long battle with cancer. With the support of his family and at the request of fans, we are making the “Meine Idee” EP available again—in memory of Daso’s musical legacy. Resident Advisor continues: “The song is incredibly positive, which explains why it was a favorite at Panorama Bar for years. In the final moments of his life, Daso’s friends played ‘Meine’ over a stereo in the corner of his hospital room. It was the sole option.” Daso possessed a unique gift for graceful melodies, and the “Meine Idee” EP captures a moment when that gift shone brilliantly. His music will live on.

Bee.G’s (O.Bee and Cem G) “Makes Me Feel” 12-inch, released on SWEEP, marks the second release from Dyed Soundorom’s newly founded label and brings a piece of the long-standing collaboration between New York and Istanbul to the dance floor. On this release, O.Bee and Cem G connect influences from Istanbul’s local music culture with experiences from ReSolute warehouse parties in Brooklyn and sets at Club der Visionaere in Berlin. The result sits confidently between techno, minimal and tech house, fitting seamlessly into Sweep’s curatorial profile.

On Side A, the original mix of “Makes Me Feel” establishes a steady groove from the very beginning, gaining depth through layered percussion and dense pads. A recurring vocal clip builds tension until, around the midpoint, the voice breaks into a fragmented stream of scattered words over the rolling bass, culminating in a call-and-response of fading voices—a hypnotic passage that positions the track as a pure underground groove. The flip side features Edward (Giegling) with a remix that takes the material in a darker, more angular direction: He extracts the “Make me feel” motif and recasts it as a recurring element, adding layer after layer to heighten the original’s dynamics and atmospheric nuance. This 12-inch is clearly tailored for dance-floor use while also serving as a statement of the production partnership between O.Bee and Cem G.

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene. This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene. "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno" was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium.

Released on Wicked Bass, Kurulo’s “Psalm Of The Sleepless” 12" delivers a compact three-track package that pairs the title cut with the distinctly dark “Neodark” and its “Ulo's Dark Arts Mix.” Within this concise format, the record fuses elements of techno, minimal, and tech house, relying both on taut grooves and on stripped-back, atmospheric pads. Kurulo keeps the production lean in terms of sonic material, letting rhythm and subtle textures maintain both the pressure on the dance floor and the nocturnal tension.

The backstory reinforces the character of the record: what began as a remix proposal to Ulo for a track marked by breathy eeriness and driving chug turned, by their account, into a stripped-down collaboration during a sleepless night in a New York studio. The result is a focused 12" that showcases both the arrangement work and Ulo’s remix concept as a contrasting complement, without diluting the concise, dark orientation of “Psalm Of The Sleepless.” Its release on Wicked Bass once again positions Kurulo within a club spectrum that favors precise, nocturnal tracks.

“Volume 9” by Talking Drums on the label of the same name is a 12-inch record with four tracks that distills the project’s characteristic, dance-oriented universe down to its essence. The record brings together the cuts “Live Love Pump,” “Sure Line,” “Un America,” and “Voodoo Dolls,” built around driving four-to-the-floor grooves, warm bass sequences, and plenty of analog synthesizer textures. As a release, it’s aimed equally at DJs and collectors; the pressing details specify a limited edition with a numbered insert.

Musically, the material sits somewhere between disco spirit and house functionality, with elements of Italo pop and balearic ease. “Live Love Pump” works with filtered EQ effects and expansive reverb spaces that give the track a glossy club aesthetic. “Sure Line” takes drifting AOR funk as its starting point, carried by a propulsive bassline and warm brass accents, while “Un America,” a midtempo chugger with distinctive synth hooks, recalls an Italo dance track.

The record closes with “Voodoo Dolls,” which has a punk edge: off-kilter vocals, scratchy guitars, and percussive effects lend it an unconventional twist. The production and arrangements remain deliberately focused on the dance floor without neglecting melodic nuances and little surprises, allowing Talking Drums to continue refining its distinctive signature sound.

“Schöneberg” by Marmion was released as a 12" on Superstition and is part of the canon of the label’s early club releases. The track appeared in various DJ sets and on represses, both as a standalone single and in EP contexts, and quickly established itself as a distinctive piece within the trance scene.

Marmion, the project of Mijk van Dijk and Marcos López, combines melodic lead synths with driving yet airy breaks on “Schöneberg”; ambient‑like passages create arcs of tension, while striking motifs underscore its club‑focused character. The tracks were produced at LoopLab and bear the hallmark of a producer duo known both for playful soundscapes and for immediate dancefloor appeal. The mastering credits and production notes document the professional studio work behind the sound.

The 12" appeared in several remix editions; alongside the original version, remixes by well‑known scene producers gained wide circulation, including versions by John Acquaviva and Kid Paul that adapted the track for different club contexts. “Schöneberg” was played by established DJs and thus became a recurring reference point in sets that bridged classic trance and contemporary club aesthetics.

The unconscious element to the conscious process. The practice of dub techno and its tendrils is a fundamental for me, both aesthetically and from an engineering perspective. I start every recording session with a dub inspired jam, the first piece I ever recorded in 1996 was an effort to recreate Phylyps Trak with only a Korg X3 and an Ibanez Pue5 (borrowed from Gary Howell). It was an awesome introduction to jamming, and the footing stones of noise, delay and saturation were explored with my foot hard on the enthusiasm pedal. These practice jams are in some sense cathartic, the first step taken again & again, which helps me move forwards each session and additionally helps to 'warm the circuits' both of myself and the machines. After realising the genius of Basic Channel is akin to the genius of peasant food, using every ingredient with nothing left to waste, (up to and including the oft maligned working noise of the machines themselves), this was a watershed moment for my own subjective progression. No longer tied to just emulation of something inspiring, but taking these learned tools into other areas of music helped to break free from a strong current of influence and also to progress into other areas with the new toolbox. Dub: The importance of the dub pioneers should never be understated, in modern music and my own practice. Yet with my initial inspiration being two german dudes issuing extreme techno variants with obscured label designs, who then signposted their listeners to their own inspirations (via their Wackies re-issues or nodded to on their Rhythm & Sound/Burial Mix sub-labels), meant that I started late and travelled backwards. Learning to notice the live mixing of Mikey Dread or Lee Perry when the faders are bleeding through even when turned down, (echoed in BC's Quadrant Dub), or the brash send effects literally thrown into the mix also taught me that 'rough' mixing can inject a recording with life, uniqueness and the most right wrongness. Looking back Basic Channels very few elements helped me realise that the rules to be understood, are also the best ones to be broken. Push the mixer into the red. Amp that noise up from the tape delay cos it sounds sick. Pseudo side-chain effects cos the kicks are way too loud and the mixer can't sum it nicely. Spam the send knob into the delay units now, now and now. Carelessness. Noise: Once I wrapped my head around the intrinsic 'noise' element that set those records apart, this became a torchlight into the alt noise movements which I was tentatively exploring at the time, and also is evidently a connection or thread into them. Whether the Industrial/Post Punk UK scene (This Heat, TG, A Tent, F.E.) or the prolific output of the US Noise scene (Wolf Eyes, Live & Shave in LA, and subsequently following the lineage all the way back to Chrome's Alien Soundtracks), I had finally discovered a connection from techno to this 'free for all' corner of music. This input from the Noise arena of sound is, in my experience, an all important step for a sonic artist, taking it's roots and extending out from Stockhausen/Pierre Henry and utilised/warped/mangled by thousands of adventurous pioneers ever since, I now see the line separating the high brow and the low brow is actually an artery carrying information from the head to the heart. Vault is a selection of these jams that precede each of my solo recording sessions, for 30 years I've recorded hundreds of these 'workouts'. They are never intended as serious statements, just moments of naive enjoyment, yet most importantly they are time & space captured as practice. The objective is always a warm up exercise, but sometimes those exercises turn a different corner, with a certain focus or direction dependent on what random samples are left in my machines from the previous session, instead of conscious choices, these unconscious elements can facilitate those 'positive mistakes' that make a piece of sound retain a different feel or colour and thus become special, or at least special to the creator. I am quite conscious that the 'record everything' aspect of my ethos has been invaluable in cataloguing and saving these jams, while the attitude of carelessness during this process (after all, it's only a warm up jam) invites more enjoyment than seriousness ever could. Even if you don't feel the piece at the time, record it, because some years later it may well fit, or become relevant in a way you never intended. -Miles Mastered by Miles, cut by Rashad Becker. Art by Lucas Dupuy.

The 12" “Omakase 002,” released on Omakase, brings together Traumer and Antraum, the joint project by Anton and Traumer, and is slated for a vinyl repress in 2026. With this release, Omakase reaffirms its early direction: after the quick sell-out of the debut, the label follows up with another clear statement single. The edition documents the close collaboration between the two producers and brings together three precisely arranged tracks suited both to club sets and focused home listening.

Musically, “Omakase 002” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house; intricate grooves provide the backbone while dense soundscapes add atmosphere. The A-side, “Hachi,” functions as a striking opener, driven by coherent basslines and subtle modulations. On the B-side, “Roko” and “San” deliver varied complements that round out the record’s concept: precise percussion, a restrained approach to melody, and carefully placed effects create spaces in which individual elements clearly stand out. With this 12", Omakase stays true to its line, once again presenting club-oriented, thoughtfully crafted tracks that appeal to both DJs and collectors interested in conceptual electronic music.

The Three Rituals 12" by Jotel, released on Magicwire, presents three precisely crafted tracks: “Laugele,” “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” and “Blinking Eyes.” The release relies on stripped-back structures and a clear emphasis on rhythm and sequence, with Jotel working carefully with layering and subtle modulations. Each track remains tightly focused in its composition, so that small shifts in dynamics and filtering become tangible and shape the course of each piece.

“Enter the Circle. Begin the Ritual.” This guiding motif runs through the record’s dramaturgy: “Laugele” builds tension through minimalist patterns, “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” deepens the arrangement with darker, grooving undertones, and “Blinking Eyes” closes with striking percussion figures and pinpoint accents. The music fuses clearly recognizable elements of techno, minimal and tech house into a compact, atmospherically dense sequence. Across the 12", the sound design remains sober and impact-oriented, allowing the tracks to unfold their hypnotic effect. With Three Rituals, Magicwire makes a brief yet distinctive statement; Jotel delivers a focused collection that convinces through reduced arrangements and meticulous pacing.

"Röntgen" is Ø's (aka Mika Vainio) subliminal minimal techno classic, originally featured on the first Sähkö Recordings release in 1993. This special-edition 12" also features a full-side cut of a previously unreleased Ø track from 1995. The untitled B-side uses minimal Tr-808 and acidic synthesis but introduces a subtle warm melody towards the end. This 12" is cut with loud volume for excellent club use.

The “Bipolar Loops” 12" released on Trance Pandemic by Kurilo comes across as a consistent foray into the intersections of techno, minimal, and tech house, relying on a clear, stripped-down sense of drama. A new pandemic is making its way to you — from New York to Berlin, the release brings a chill and precision befitting its title; the material feels both timeless and immediate, as if it carried an energy that reaches beyond club nights.

Sonically, “Bipolar Loops” leans on deep bass foundations, hypnotic patterns, and finely nuanced percussive figures that gradually build and pull the listener ever deeper into the constructed atmosphere. The arrangements work with repetitive loops and sparse melodic flashes, creating tension through reduction while keeping the groove fully effective. Kurilo’s production maintains a balanced relationship between impact and space, allowing individual elements to unfold their effect on large sound systems just as well as in more intimate settings.

Moonshine’s “Dub Meets Techno Volume 2” is released as a 12-inch and brings together eight tracks from the worlds of dub techno, techno, and minimal. The compilation opens with “Na Fear,” a collaboration between Another Channel and Prince Morella.

The rest of the selection brings together a range of producers and projects. Flatplay contributes “Splatterfield,” Biodub and Deadbeat join forces for “Swaydub,” and Radikal Guru is represented with “The Bounty.” The second half features Frenk Dublin’s “Salamanca Dub,” Schulz Audio’s “Di Yardman Ting,” Inner Echo’s “Counter,” and “Dem A Fear” by Libertine.

With this release, “Dub Meets Techno Volume 2” follows Moonshine’s first “Dub Meets Techno” compilation, which came out in 2023 as a collection of eight tracks from the emerging dub techno scene. Another Channel was involved in that release as well, while Frenk Dublin was also part of the lineup. The second edition expands this connection to include more international names and once again focuses on the intersection of dub, techno, and deep electronic grooves.

Released on KNTXT, the “The Resistance” 12" by Charlotte de Witte condenses the artist’s current AV aesthetic into a compact vinyl edition and includes the title collaboration with Theo Nasa as well as contributions by XSALT. The record features the tracks “The Resistance” (feat. Theo Nasa), “See Through The Lies” (feat. XSALT), and “Another Place,” rounded out by a brief intro version of the lead single; the track sequence relies on dense, driving arrangements and distinctive vocals as its central element. Vinyl pre-orders are handled via the KNTXT shop, with shipping planned for late September.

Musically, “The Resistance” ties into Charlotte de Witte’s audio-visual live program of the same name: the EP translates the visual concepts into focused club tracks and, with Theo Nasa, brings in a voice that underscores the production’s conceptual core, while XSALT adds a direct, compelling texture to “See Through The Lies.” The release is also consciously linked to the defense of club culture; the artist has announced that the proceeds from the release will be donated to a foundation dedicated to nightlife culture. The tracks go back to personal ideas that are being documented in this form for the first time in this edition.

Title cut ‘Ontario’ leads with crisp, crunchy drums alongside dubby bass tones, fluttering stab sequences and intricate modulations. ‘Off Disk’ follows with organic percussion, weighty sub-bass and delayed melodies. ‘Oops All Sixes’ moves into acid-tinged House territory, while ‘Airex’ closes with oscillating percussion, a snaking low-end pulse and airy chords.

The compilation "Phantom Dream Va 01" is the first various‑artists release by the new Berlin label Phantom Dream and comes as a 12" vinyl. The selection clearly operates at the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech house, and stands out for an impressively mature production approach that gives equal space to stripped‑down structures and hypnotic grooves. Phantom Dream relies on precisely placed rhythmic elements and dense soundscapes that recall the deeper, more atmospheric side of the ’90s without slipping into nostalgia.

The release gains particular weight from an outstanding remix by Thomas Melchior (Melchior Productions Ltd), which strongly underscores the return to ’90s deep techno and house. Melchior’s contribution acts as the compilation’s anchor point, distilling its concept: minimalist arrangements meet recurring, trance‑like motifs. "Phantom Dream Va 01" thus presents a focused selection of tracks that seem designed both for club use and for longer, immersive DJ sets, positioning the label as a go‑to source for subtle, hypnotic techno.

The “Gradient” 12" released by Orbe appears as a vinyl special edition and was personally signed by the founder and driving force behind Orbe. The release features four carefully crafted tracks and is described by the label as the most ambitious edition in its history; it marks the Andalusian producer’s most mature creative step to date since the beginning of his career.

Musically, “Gradient” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house, presenting the artist’s development in concentrated form: stripped-back structures meet precise rhythms, while the arrangements leave room for subtle progressions. The 12" uses the concise format of a single release to present compact, focused tracks that highlight Orbe’s signature approach to production details and sequencing.

As a self-release on the label of the same name, “Gradient” combines conceptual coherence with meticulous craftsmanship, adding a clearly defined statement to Orbe’s discography. The vinyl special edition and the artist’s signature give the release additional collector’s appeal and underscore the personal ambition behind it.

The "Yyyyyyyyy" 12" by Picture is released on P-Ton and clearly positions itself in the Basic Channel / dub techno sphere: stripped-down, channel-focused arrangements meet expansive pads and precisely placed delay reflections that lend the tracks a sense of space and depth. The pieces are defined by clear, economical structures dominated by grooving bass frequencies and cool, almost metallic chords, with the production relying on subtle modulations and echo effects.

Picture is a pseudonym of Danish producer Natal Zaks, also known as Central, who has been active for years in the orbit of Regelbau, Help, and related labels; his work moves between house, ambient textures, and a sober, club-focused minimalism that also comes through in this project. This background explains the fine balance between DJ-friendliness and an atmospheric focus that shapes the release.

Executed as a hand-stamped 12", the record underscores the limited, vinyl-specific character of the release; the pressing comes on black vinyl and translates the sonic image cleanly. The record thus offers a focused presentation of contemporary dub techno that relies less on flashy gimmicks than on sonic precision and subtle dynamics.

The “Wisdom To The Wise” 12-inch released on Spectrum by Dave Clarke combines a defining track from the early Red series with a new reworking by Joris Voorn. The track formed the centerpiece of “Red 2,” the second installment in Clarke’s three-part series, which significantly expanded his reputation as a techno producer.

“Wisdom To The Wise” was created in Brighton in the early 1990s under basic production conditions. At the time, Dave Clarke worked with an Atari 1040 and a microsampler, whose limited capabilities helped shape the track’s direct, raw character. The track pushes forward with powerful drum patterns, distinctive hi-hats and a dark, tension-filled atmosphere, without relying on overloaded arrangements for its impact.

Joris Voorn approaches the classic with respect for its techno foundation, while adding his own synthesizer textures and a contemporary sonic architecture. A heavy kick, metallic chords, expansive pads and carefully placed percussive disruptions give the remix additional depth. The tension builds gradually, while the groove retains its original toughness and simultaneously takes on a warmer feel.

On the B-side, a 2023 remaster of the original complements this new reworking. In this way, Spectrum brings Dave Clarke’s historic source material together with Joris Voorn’s current studio signature on a 12-inch. “Wisdom To The Wise (Joris Voorn Remix)” thus marks the return of a key work from the Red series in a new sonic setting.

Dialog’s “Symbol Of The Land” LP is released on Kynant and marks the duo’s move toward a deliberately beat-driven full-length, expanding their previously ambient and dub-oriented approaches into more strongly rhythm-focused arrangements. Dialog, the production and performance project of Helsinki-based Samuel van Dijk and Rasmus Hedlund, combines dub techno aesthetics with a collaborative working method; on “Symbol Of The Land,” this openness to voices and rhythmic traditions becomes a principle that shapes the album’s structure.

The album documents a period of intensive exchange and brings the duo’s studio and live experience into a new balance: precisely placed drums and modulated bass textures merge with spatial processing and occasional vocal interjections, elements already heard in earlier Dialog projects. The production emphasizes textural depth and spatial movement without abandoning dub’s characteristic delay and filtering strategies; instead, these are integrated into functional grooves that open up both club and listening spaces. “Symbol Of The Land” on Kynant reflects Dialog’s intention to translate dubwise sound design into a collaborative, globally oriented album format.

The Neapolitan producer and DJ has established himself over the years as a fixture of the techno club scene, and in his productions he combines powerful, peak‑time‑oriented beats with carefully placed atmospheric synth pads. His sound is characterized by precise percussion, clear arrangements, and a clear focus on the dance floor, while still leaving room for subtle melodic elements. Luigi Madonna has worked with renowned labels and has repeatedly released records that resonate both in major clubs and in more specialized sets. This 12" joins that artistic panorama and offers a tightly focused selection of tracks that showcase Madonna’s ability to pair techno‑driven hardness with a keen, form‑conscious sense of dynamics, further sharpening his artistic signature.

The Orange Transparent Vinyl Edition of “The Age Of Love” 12" by Age Of Love was released on DiKi and brings the three most distinctive reworks of the classic together on one record: the legendary Jam & Spoon “Watch Out For Stella” Mix, the rendition by Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano, and Solomun’s Renaissance Remix. This compilation presents different phases and perspectives of the track in a compact format, making the 12" a functional release for DJs and collectors looking for a focused selection of prominent remixes.

The selection on the DiKi release emphasizes both continuity and renewal: the Jam & Spoon mix appears in a revised 2021 master version, while the versions by Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano and Solomun each reflect the production techniques of their respective eras. Age Of Love had already written and released its namesake hit in 1990; this 12" references that legacy without flattening the distinct character of the individual remixes. Technically situated within techno, minimal, and tech house, the record offers a direct link between early trance heritage and contemporary club production.

The “Darin 2026 Repress” 12" by Phil Berg is released on Mutual Rytm and documents a repressing of the Dārin material originally issued on the label.

Within the Berlin scene, Phil Berg is known for a dark, dense techno style characterized by meticulous sound edits, rising tension, and clear, ergonomic production; these attributes also shape this 12". His work operates at the intersection of club focus and atmospheric composition, grounded in experience as a DJ and in improvisational live performances.

Musically, the record brings together driving, rhythmically focused tracks ranging from punchy basslines to hypnotic synth pads. Featured pieces include “Dārin,” “Tempest,” “Tanoo,” “Mephisto,” and “Destiny Bond”; digital bonus cuts like “Seiko” and “Nyx” expand the set in the online editions. The arrangements rely on targeted density and dynamic breaks, allowing individual motifs to unfold with maximum impact.

For DJs, the 12" offers concise, easily integrable tracks with a clean low-end focus and explicitly club-ready functionality; at the same time, Phil Berg’s distinctive sound remains recognizable away from the dancefloor.

The "Fumaxohn" 12-inch by Robag Wruhme is released on Cocoon. The record brings together four tracks — "Olahni," "Ifthah," "Fumaxohn," and "Pentho" — and presents itself as a compact work focused on atmosphere and groove.

Robag Wruhme is the solo alter ego of Gabor Schablitzki; since the early 2000s, his work has moved between stripped-down house and finely calibrated minimal. The production is characterized by great precision without ever turning cold: instead of relying on spectacular peaks, Schablitzki opts for gentle motion and a constant, barely perceptible build-up of tension. The arrangements are rich in detail yet remain clearly structured, giving every element space.

Musically, the 12-inch spans an arc from ghostly textures to driving bass figures. "Olahni" opens with floating soundscapes and hypnotic vocal fragments, while "Ifthah" leads into darker, rolling bass landscapes. The title track lays a warm harmony over the groove, vocals blur into textural layers, and "Pentho" closes as a stripped-back, direct cut that brings together all that has been woven before. Overall, the record showcases Robag’s fine instinct for balancing emotion and rhythm.

The “Be With U” 12" released on Romantic Gestures presents the title track in an extended version whose 9:11 running time leaves room for slow development and controlled momentum.

Michael Greene, who records as Fort Romeau, weaves icy, atmospheric synth pads together with a crisp drum-machine groove; carefully placed horn tones and a recurring vocal sample lend the piece a bittersweet, cinematic touch that strongly recalls Wong Kar-wai–inspired moods. The architecture of the arrangement builds energy over the entire duration, so that “Be With U” works both as an introspective club track and as an extended, cohesive composition.

As part of the releases on Romantic Gestures, “Be With U” joins a series of records for which the label serves as a platform for Greene; the production nods to his previous work while at the same time showing a clearly focused approach to melody and rhythm. For listeners who follow Fort Romeau, this 12" offers a concentrated snapshot of his current output and underscores the programmatic direction of Romantic Gestures.

The Muerte Deluxe 12" by Inner Lakes, released on Earth Dog, leads the listener into a dark twilight zone between techno, minimal, and tech house, and consistently continues the recent evolution of the Milan-based producer. Inner Lakes, whose work has already appeared on Lagunas, Kalahari Oyster Cult, and Francesco Del Garda’s Timeless label, made a strong statement within djfix and Jek’s Earth Dog orbit with the 2025 EP Bongdrift; Muerte Deluxe picks up on that stage and solidifies his position in late-night DJ sets.

Musically, the record clearly targets the peak-time floor: “Control” opens with a serrated acid line, a pulsating bassline, and a psychedelic groove that leans into progressive momentum. The title track “Muerte Deluxe” takes the cadence in a rougher direction, a choleric stomp with ragga-tinged energy that drives the low end with intent. On the finale, “R3vision” provides more introspective moments; muted, moonlit reflections and a softened dissonance steer the propulsive force into a melancholic final curve. With this 12", Earth Dog documents a precise, club-oriented stance from Inner Lakes and delivers producer’s sound squarely aimed at nocturnal dance floor dynamics.

The “Second Office” LP by Speedy J and Rødhåd as The Department Of Almost is released on WSNWG and comes as a double LP on 140 g black vinyl. The release documents eleven compositions that shift between focused dancefloor material and restrained, spatial sound work; an initial advance track, “Fingerprints,” is available as an instant download with the pre-order. Shipping and digital delivery are announced for October 9, 2026.

Created during extended studio sessions in Berlin in January 2026, all tracks were written, produced, and performed by Speedy J and Rødhåd; the work favors gradual transformation over dramatic gestures and links driving rhythms with passages of suspension. Conor Dalton handled mastering at Calyx Mastering Berlin, the vinyl was cut by Lathesville Mastering; cover photo by Thomas Beutel, layout by Mike Bierbach. The track sequence runs from “Cold Start” via “Double Shot (Floor Mix)” to the final version of “Double Shot,” offering both immediately danceable moments and more open, atmospheric fields of technoid electronics.

The pre-order includes the digital album plus a high-quality 24-bit/44.1 kHz download; customers receive the full album on the release date, with physical shipping scheduled to begin around October 9, 2026. “Second Office” expands the sonic horizons of Speedy J and Rødhåd with elegant transitions and a tension between forward momentum and contemplative calm.

The "Himawari EP1" 12" by Swayzak, released on Palace Limited, brings together two rare versions from the "Himawari" era on vinyl for the first time and marks a focused return of the duo. Swayzak, consisting of David Brown and James S. Taylor, revisit material from their second album roughly 25 years on, translating the reduced, groove-oriented aesthetic of the original into precise, club-ready arrangements.

On "Himawari EP1" you’ll find the first-ever full-length vinyl version of "Japan Air" (Full Mix, remastered, 10:11), which in its extended form creates space for breathing melodic arcs and deeper rhythmic structures. In contrast, "Annadub" (2025 Master, 15:04) is an expansive, densely constructed dub take that starts out organically and slowly unfolds over its length. Both tracks have been reworked for this release and offer nuances previously only audible in alternate versions or digital editions.

The "Himawari EP1" on Palace Limited presents Swayzak in a matter-of-fact, focused way: stripped-back productions, clear bass foundations, and subtle textures link techno, minimal, and tech house. As a 12", the release adds targeted extensions to the duo’s canon and presents two exemplary snapshots from the "Himawari" sessions.

The *Terminus Jungle* 10" by Natural Goofy and Shkedul is a self-release and continues their series of white label pressings with a low-key presentation. The release comes as a 10" white label, limited and available exclusively on vinyl; a repress is not planned. One side is by Natural Goofy and the other by Shkedul – different routes to the same destination – with the clear note “From you, back to you” and a quantity rule that limits the number of copies available per customer.

Musically, *Terminus Jungle* moves within the tension field between techno, minimal, and tech house; Natural Goofy and Shkedul each deliver their own distinct takes on this framework. The four-handed concept is built around two complementary approaches: one side takes the listener into the late hours, when perception shifts, while the other follows an alternative yet aligned path. In this way, Natural Goofy and Shkedul create a deliberately stripped-back, moment-focused release on the *Terminus Jungle* 10" that places the club context and the night at its center, underscoring the character of a direct, limited self-release.

Released on Punctuality, the “Echo-Chambered” 12" by Bliss Inc. brings together two distinctive tracks: “Carousel” and “The Shake.” The release carries catalog number PNCT011 and was written and produced by Alexander Starodubov; mastering and lacquer cut were handled by Marco Pellegrino, with artwork by Lucia Dominguez.

Bliss Inc. positions itself at the intersection of progressive house and tech house elements, with a focus on expansive soundscapes and driving rhythms suited both to laid-back sets and peak-time club contexts. Hallmarks include deft harmonic progressions, subtle breakdowns, and a strong sense of tension in the arrangements, giving the sound a clear DJ focus while also unfolding considerable melodic power.

This 12" emphasizes clean production and DJ usability: Marco Pellegrino’s precise lacquer cutting ensures dynamic low-end depth, while Alexander Starodubov’s compositions leave room for transitions and creative mixing. The work released on Punctuality fits seamlessly into the label’s spectrum of electronic club music and offers DJs as well as listeners a compact, clearly focused addition to the current scene.

The "A Call From Heav.N EP" by Sweely is released on Display as a 12" and brings together five tracks that pursue a fully digital conception of club music. In doing so, Sweely returns to his own label and transfers computer-based productions onto a physical medium, making the contrast between screen aesthetics and vinyl audible.

The tracks were written and produced entirely on the computer; their sonic world digs into early-2000s internet culture, video game moods, desktop sounds, and screen-lit textures. The result feels playful and precise, occasionally slightly skewed, but always shaped by the colorful digital world that Display uses as its aesthetic foundation.

Musically, Sweely moves through razor-sharp house grooves, technically inflected rhythms, and springy club cuts. The compositions stay direct and fun-focused, yet full of small details that reveal themselves on repeated listens. From the catchy opener "Mmmhh, Eazy" and the title track "A Call From Heav’n" to the playful flip side with "Damn City", "Go Steady" and "Samples", the EP sketches a bright, digital, dancefloor-oriented version of his sound.

The fact that these electronically generated tracks are ultimately pressed to wax underscores the project’s core idea: computer-born club music leaves the screen and finds its form on 12".

DJ Koze’s 2013 album opus Amygdala has continued to bewitch all who encounter it since its release. Tipped as his own personal Sgt. Pepper, the sublime long-player revealed a fully-realised and personal body of work, complete with a classic songwriting at its core, House in its heart, and veins coursing with psychedelic color. “La Duquesa” was the album’s dreamy single standout, a journey into deep, tropical ecstasy. “XTC” begins in the same spirit, and captures the all the blissful allusions of its name, but its initial gentility belies the deep intensity to come. Floating pads glow with celestial ambience as a kick drum is gradually coaxed into solid form, and the introduction of spoken text begins the second act. “Many people are experimenting with the drug Ecstasy,” it says, “…is the drug like the lie and meditation the truth? Or am I missing something that could really help me?". “XTC” then transforms: sweetly imploring tones become demanding, gentle gradients between chords turn hard-edged, and sharp hi-hats cut through the haze. Complete with Koze’s signature percussive quirks, it drives towards the track’s final pay off: an undeniable, all-consuming, irresistible high. “Knee On Belly” recalls Koze at his most tongue-in-cheek and overt; it is bright, bold and literally brassy, using cut-up horns of all shapes and sizes to patchwork together his own unique arrangement. With the highs and mid ranges accounted for, Koze adds in a swollen, thrumming bass line to mix to bring this floor-filler to life. “Knee on Belly” recalls a raw, filtered and funky approach to groove, with a nod to disco house and the art of artful sampling, as it orbits between its own neon highs and simmering lows.

"John Beltran joins forces with Ireland’s Intrinsic Rhythm for a masterclass in emotional Detroit Techno with his "Roots EP" featuring a deep & soulful remix from Fireground.

Few names command the same reverence in electronic music as John Beltran. Since pioneering the more melodic, ambient-soaked textures of Detroit techno in the 1990s and 00s, the Michigan producer has spent over three decades crafting electronic music with an unmistakable human soul.

For his latest outing, Beltran links up with Irish imprint Intrinsic Rhythm for a physical and digital release after previously providing a remix for Ir004 . The A1 "My Faith In You" is a perfect distillation of his signature sound: lush, cinematic chord progressions, propulsive rhythm arrangements, and that deep-running emotive warmth that makes his catalog timeless and this continues on the A2 with "Gratiot" a timeless piece of Deep Detroit Techno with a shuffling groove and precise tones and textures.

Sharpening the edge of the package is a stellar remix from dynamic Italian duo Fireground. Known for their driving, soulful and rich sound on labels like Tresor and Ilian Tape, Fireground adds a deeper more textured version of "Gratiot" and reconstructs it into a sun drenched musically rich remix. Together, the release forms a beautiful bridge between the two artists."

“Autumn Uncertain” 12" by Pocket Club combines dub techno with a personal exploration of electronic soundscapes. The Paris-based project of Alex Troubetzkoy deliberately works beyond narrow genre boundaries, combining diverse influences, machines, instruments, and recording methods into ever-changing sonic landscapes.

For this release, Pocket Club describes a direction more strongly rooted in dub techno than its previous work. Deep electronic structures meet a cinematic atmosphere and melodies with the character of lullabies. The result is a restrained yet evocative blend of rhythmic reduction and delicate melodic detail that distinguishes the release from the project’s earlier output.

The 12" features two tracks: “A L’envers mon Amour” on the A-side and “Fée des Nuits” on the B-side. Both tracks represent Pocket Club’s current phase, in which Alex Troubetzkoy explores distinctive emotional effects and organic sonic environments. “Autumn Uncertain” is released on Pocket Club and continues the development of the French project with a clear focus on dub techno, house, and minimalist electronics.

With the “Paradise People +” 12-inch, Dzungla offers a focused look into Len Lewis’s archive. Released on the Amsterdam-based label, the record combines historical material with previously unreleased tracks, tracing the development of the tech-house veteran from 2003 to 2021.

Four tracks guide listeners through Len Lewis’s characteristic dark and driving sound. Precisely placed rhythms, powerful basslines, and stripped-back, movement-oriented production unite the different periods of creation into a cohesive whole. Rather than stylistic breaks, the record develops a continuous arc of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house, preserving both the raw directness of his earlier productions and the later refinement of his arrangements.

At the center is “Paradise People,” a track that exemplifies Len Lewis’s feel for buoyant grooves and distinctive sonic details. The additional tracks expand this profile with further facets of his production style, highlighting how consistently the London-based producer has pursued his rhythmic language over the years. With “Paradise People +,” Dzungla presents more than an ordinary collection of scattered archive recordings: it is a carefully curated 12-inch that brings together different stages of Len Lewis’s work within a shared musical framework.

Stepping onto Up The Stuss for the first time, Anil Aras presents his ‘Through The Night’ EP, a record that captures the tension and release of the dancefloor after dark. Across four tracks, the Utrecht artist distills his trademark swing and subtle intensity into a body of work that feels alive in the moment yet timeless in its form. It’s a project that mirrors the transitions of night itself, shifting between lightness and weight, clarity and haze, while staying rooted in the grooves that have defi ned his journey to date. A central figure within the Dutch scene and a long-time member of the revered SlapFunk collective, Aras has carved out a space within the house realm via his unrelenting energy behind the decks and a production style that bridges classic influences with forward-facing ideas. Releases on labels such as No Art, Hot Haus Recs, and the aforementioned SlapFunk have highlighted his instinct for crafting music that connects instantly on the floor, while his hybrid TR-909-driven DJ sets have taken him to international stages, including Glastonbury and throughout Ibiza. With ‘Through The Night’, he brings that same approach to Up The Stuss, delivering a four-tracker that is both powerful yet subtle and versatile. Shaped for the dancefl oor but rich in detail, the release captures the essence of his artistry - a dedication to groove, atmosphere, and the moments that unite dancers worldwide. It’s a debut that feels both natural and essential, adding a new shade to the label’s palette while opening another path for Aras’ evolving sound.

The “Sunday Mirage” 12-inch by Chris Carrier, released on Dancefloor Rituals, finds the Parisian veteran at his usual high level and continues the artist’s series of carefully produced EPs. “Sunday Mirage” delivers a trance-inducing selection of tracks that move between techno, minimal, and tech house, while being purpose-built for club play. The EP includes two tracks clearly designed for peak time, a laid-back warm-up groover, and an after-hours pick, presenting the sequence as a varied, cohesive unit.

On “Sunday Mirage,” Chris Carrier once again demonstrates his ability to combine precisely arranged tracks with clear value for DJs; the production feels focused and tailored to the dance floor, without relying on unnecessary effects. With this 12-inch, Dancefloor Rituals continues its collaboration with the producer and offers DJs a solid selection of set-friendly material. Thanks to its clear structures and trance-driven passages, “Sunday Mirage” works equally well for peak-time excursions and longer club sets in which transitions and dynamics play a central role.

The "Xaman" LP by Dino Sabatini & Luigi Tozzi is released on Outis Music – Outis Opera Series and comes as a double LP, 2×12" at 33 RPM. The release brings together eight compositions conceived as a cohesive album sequence and marks the beginning of the joint project XAMAN; the first pressing is limited to 500 copies.

XAMAN is the meeting of two independent paths: Sabatini’s and Tozzi’s longstanding exploration of modular textures and meditative structures merges here into a shared sonic language. Across the tracks, sound unfolds through subtle intensifications and spatial shifts; each idea is introduced with restraint so that form and dynamics only fully emerge over the course of continued listening.

Musically, the work moves within the realm of electronic and techno with a clear leaning toward deep techno; driving, hypnotic rhythms are complemented by atmospheric pads, delicate percussion, and sparingly placed melodic accents. The compositions “Crossing,” “Traces,” and “Vision” function less as stand-alone singles than as interconnected chapters in an extended listening flow.

The production was mastered by Andy Baldwin, with the lacquer cut handled by Mike Hillier at Metropolis Studios, London. The physical presentation comes in a simple, non-gatefold sleeve made from brown Kraftpak paper and is shrink-wrapped, underscoring the matter-of-fact, archival character of the project.

Chlär’s “Everything Under Control” 12-inch is released on Primal Instinct as a limited edition featuring five tracks. The release carries catalog number PI14 and was recorded by Chlär and produced by Charles Accarisi. Accarisi also handled the mastering.

In terms of content, the EP follows a scenario shaped by the forces of nature, loss of control, and lingering heat. “Force Majeure,” “Burning Sky,” and “Point Zero” chart the path to the moment when every certainty begins to crumble. With “Silver Skin” and “Residual Heat,” Chlär continues this imagery: the fire has gone out, but its traces remain. The tracks give the release a clearly recognizable dramatic arc without taking away from the individuality of each piece.

Musically, “Everything Under Control” represents the approach established by Primal Instinct, combining complex, body-oriented grooves with organic sound design. The Berlin label brings together primitive rhythmic impulses and innovative sound design across its releases. Chlär, who founded Primal Instinct in 2023, continues this idea on PI14 with a techno production whose thematic core lies in the tension between human intervention and an unruly natural world. As additional digital content, the label lists “Natural Order” and “Absence.”

The "Weird Fiction" LP by Al Chem was released on All City / Artyard and originally came out in 2017 on Art Yard; the first pressing comprised 500 numbered copies in a 180‑gram tip-on sleeve. The record collects six tracks recorded between 2000 and 2005, now available again for the first time.

Alexander Christou, known as a member of Berliner Ring and for his work with Elecdrones, presents a solo project on "Weird Fiction" that connects analog and digital sound worlds. The recordings move within the wide field of electronic dub meditations: hazy textures, modulated delay spaces, and subtle, seemingly organic percussion elements set the tone. Rather than following conventional song structures, Christou arranges sounds according to mood and a sense of landscape, clearly reflecting the project’s origins in the milieu of the Berlin electronic scene.

Sonic highlights include the rendition of Ras Michael's "No Hoppers," which couples electronic percussion with Moondog-like rhythms, as well as "Prophet," which pinpoints Christou's relationship to the city with precision. "The Red Tower" fuses reggae groove and house kick into a blurred parallelism, while "Baudelaire" centers on digital delay and "Ladder Of Perfection" rounds off the album as a droning final tableau. Taken as a whole, "Weird Fiction" stands for an idiosyncratic, Northern European–inflected dub aesthetic within contemporary electronic music.

The “Astro” double LP by Donato Dozzy is released on Tresor and comes in a gatefold sleeve with download card. Over two sides, Dozzy unfolds a concept that links personal memories of Japanese animated series with his familiar synth architecture. The title piece “Astro” directly references an early sample source taken from a Japanese TV anthem and functions as the central motif of the album.

Musically, on “Astro” Donato Dozzy combines stripped-down, hypnotic structures with precise sound design: tracks like “Raydeen” and “Himika (M Song)” rely on powerful yet restrained arpeggios, while “Pegasu” conjures images of machines lifting off. “Jumbo Crack” was created on an EMS Synthi AKS and works without drums; rising basses and white noise here generate a sensation of takeoff. The eponymous composition “Astro” is based on a children’s song sampled directly for the first time, which serves as its point of departure. The set concludes with “Ryoma (Lò Song),” whose wide, trance-like pads function as a finale. With “Astro,” Tresor presents a focused release in which Donato Dozzy fuses his synthesizer work and his memories of collecting into a coherent whole with a cosmic feel.

The “Beyond Non Existence EP” 12" by P.E.A.R.L & Oxygeno, released on Analogue, marks a new collaboration between two producers active on the international techno scene and is set to appear in 2026 on the Greek label Analogue. The release is formally presented as a 12" and clearly categorized as Techno / Minimal / Tech-House, with the title itself suggestively pointing to stripped-down structures and a clear dramaturgical stance. P.E.A.R.L & Oxygeno appear here as a joint project without the edition relying on additional special versions or extras, underscoring a focused approach to dance floor-ready yet precisely arranged tracks.

With “Beyond Non Existence EP,” Analogue adds another vinyl release to its ongoing line; the Athens-based label, run by Jerm, specializes in carefully produced 12-inch records. The collaboration between P.E.A.R.L & Oxygeno expands the label’s program with a production that oscillates between driving techno rhythms, minimal soundscapes, and punctuated tech-house elements. For DJs and collectors, the “Beyond Non Existence EP” stands as a clear entry in the current Analogue cosmos, once again bringing the names P.E.A.R.L, Oxygeno, and Analogue into the focus of club and vinyl interest.

The “Omakase 001 2026 Repress” by Antraum (Traumer & Anton) appears as a 12-inch release on the Omakase label and brings together the collaboration between the two producers in compact form. The record collects the tracks “Ichi,” “go (le porc du havre)” and “ju,” and in this edition is shipped without the original sleeve, marking it as a collector’s item with reduced packaging.

Musically, the release moves within a spectrum between deep house, house, and stripped-back club music. Characteristic elements include a deeply centered low-end foundation, acid-like textures, and the targeted use of vocal samples that lend the tracks a sound that is both psychedelic and soulful. The arrangements rely on subtle modulations and rhythmic reduction, allowing the pieces to unfold their full effect both in DJ sets and in focused listening.

Behind the project are Traumer, a mainstay within the Yoyaku camp, and the up-and-coming Anton, who produce together under the name Antraum. Their joint exploration of minimalist structures and nuanced groove defines the profile of the Omakase label and makes this repress a clear statement within the current house scene.

The triple LP “Infiniti Collection (Remastered & Expanded)” by Infiniti is being released on Tresor and marks the first official vinyl edition of this compilation; this 30th anniversary reissue has been reworked and expanded and will be available on October 30, 2026. The release gathers early Infiniti tracks by Detroit pioneer Juan Atkins in remastered form, comes in a Pantone-printed sleeve with sticker and download code, and includes the edit version of “Higher” as a digital bonus.

Musically, the compilation highlights the deeper, more experimental side of Atkins’ work under the Infiniti alias, fusing elements of techno, minimal, and tech house into a cohesive listening experience; standout cuts like “Sunlight,” the driving “Flash Flood,” and the much-cited “Game One” sit alongside the dub-style rework “Think Quick (Moritz von Oswald ’94 Remodel).” All tracks were written and produced by Juan Atkins, with “Game One” co-written with Orlando Voorn; the remastering was handled by Mike Grinser at Manmade Mastering. The original artwork is by Mainartery, the design for this edition was updated by Gil De Cuyper, and the rights are held by Metroplex/Tresor.

The 12" *Sad Piano House / Cloudy (Kelbin Remixes)* by Daphni is released on the Jiaolong label and brings together two newly remixed versions that link the more recent single “Sad Piano House” with the Kelbin takes that have been circulating for some time. Alongside the remix version of “Sad Piano House,” the release also includes Kelbin’s rendition of “Cloudy,” with the tracklist condensing the directorial work on both pieces into a compact format.

The remixes bear the unmistakable imprint of Kelbin, whose real name is given as Luca Favaretto; his reworks are defined by precise, cleanly contoured production that highlights the striking piano melodies of the original material. Dan Snaith is the writer and producer of the original tracks, which have repeatedly served as source material in his Daphni series; Kelbin’s versions shift these core motifs into a more sharply articulated club aesthetic without obscuring the pieces’ emotional through line. The combination of Snaith’s songwriting and Favaretto’s remix approach turns this 12" into a concentrated encounter between two complementary production styles.

The "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" LP by Steffi was released on Dekmantel Records and marks the producer’s fifth solo studio album. Drawing on her many years of club experience, Steffi translates the energy of the dance floor into a series of clear, purposeful arrangements centered around what she calls the “Feel Factor” – that moment when DJ, music, and dancing crowd come together. The record emerged from a conceptual process in which more than forty ideas were distilled down to nine tracks that deliberately aim for intensity and directness.

Musically, Steffi combines precise drum programming with airy pads, orchestral strings, and memorable melodies, free of unnecessary ornamentation. The opener, "The Rolling Wave," immediately pulls you into shifting sonic spaces, while the title track wraps you in shimmering rhythms and lush string layers. "Acoustics Of Space" picks up tempo and urgency, driven by propulsive drums and euphoric pad swells that translate the club moment into sound. On Dekmantel, Steffi presents with "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" a focused, club-oriented vision in which production clarity and emotional breadth go hand in hand.

The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe is being released on DDS as a 2026 repress, bringing back the elusive album by an artist who has been puzzling listeners ever since his early Chain Reaction releases. DDS is reissuing the work and thus putting this collection of archival and new material back in the spotlight; the re-release directly points to Atobe’s unique run across two decades of electronic production.

Musically, “Butterfly Effect” remains an idiosyncratic chapter somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house: the record opens with a dragging, almost syrupy opener, moves on to a nine-minute, precisely crafted piano house piece, and then dives into dense, drone-like passages. The compositions combine sparse rhythms with textured sonics and contain small but unmistakable signatures that lend the album its timeless aura. The fact that Demdike Stare and the wider DDS circle were the driving force behind its release and reappraisal is reflected in the selection and careful cohesion of the tracks. The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe on DDS thus remains a densely documentary yet enigmatic entry in his discography, whose 2026 reissue once again highlights the special quality of this material.

Released on Arabian Desert Reserch, the “Arabian Desert Reserch 001” 12" by The Unknown Artist comes across as a compact release from the label, firmly anchoring the title in the Techno / Minimal / Tech-House realm. The record is issued by the label as a 12" and carries the name of the project in its title, positioning Arabian Desert Reserch as the defining force behind the release. The Unknown Artist remains explicitly credited as the performer, while the association with Arabian Desert Reserch underlines the conceptual link between the music and the label.

Musically, the 12" moves between the stated styles and comprises three cuts: “Baba Fein,” “Zbat El Balad,” and a remix version, “Abu Zuhair (Khaldeh Mix),” which stands out as an independent contribution. The compositions combine electronic arrangements with focused, stripped-down structures, as is characteristic of Tech-House and Minimal, offering a precise, DJ-friendly selection for sets and for listeners seeking clearly contoured electronic tracks. With this release, Arabian Desert Reserch presents itself as a platform for carefully curated output positioned stylistically between Techno and House.

The “Layers” 12-inch release by Guy From Downstairs comes out on Pleasure Zone and marks the Romanian producer’s return to the label after five years. The four tracks blend minimal techno with elements of tech house, focusing on stripped-down grooves, subtle shifts, and precisely crafted rhythms.

“Don’t Change” opens the release with a rounded beat and a steadily rolling foundation. Direkt contributes to “16 22,” while glitch-like details and abstract sonic particles disrupt its linear momentum. The production remains firmly focused on the groove, building tension through small changes within the arrangement.

With “Dream Untitled” and “Perfect Endlessness,” Guy From Downstairs continues this restrained aesthetic. The B-side feels darker and more geared toward hypnotic repetition without sacrificing its dancefloor dynamics. Pleasure Zone thus follows up on its earlier collaboration with the artist on the “Vovisme EP,” which also featured four minimalist tracks. “Layers” combines precise club rhythms with glitch-adjacent textures and an atmosphere reminiscent of the stripped-back microhouse school of the early 2000s.

Released on Nord LTD, the “Questions EP” 12" by Shkedul and Marco Mellere presents the second installment in the NORD EDIT series and is issued as a limited-edition 12" vinyl. The release focuses on edited versions of previously unreleased jam recordings from the early-2000s progressive house and tech house period. The production relies on careful tightening and reorganization of the original material, translating familiar motifs into stripped-back, club-ready arrangements that foreground both rhythmic precision and subtle shifts in texture.

Musically, the “Questions EP” combines the structural clarity of techno with the groove and arrangement-minded thinking of the early house era; the original jam-driven impetus and melodic fragments are retained, while the edits render the tracks format-ready for DJ use. As a chapter within the NORD EDIT series, the release places a clear emphasis on historical references and editing techniques rather than on reworks in the classic remix sense, making the EP a precise statement within Shkedul’s label work.

The “Rm12047” 12-inch by Reflex Blue, released on R.A.N.D. Muzik, marks the artist’s second release on the Leipzig-based label and presents itself as a precisely composed club EP. Here, Reflex Blue delivers a production range that brings techno, minimal and tech house together while deliberately focusing on dancefloor-ready arrangements.

The EP comprises compact, driving tracks dominated by punchy percussion and deep bass lines; small vocal fragments and subtle sound design details repeatedly create moments of tension. As a producer, Reflex Blue demonstrates a keen sense for dramatic build-ups and minimal shifts in the groove, allowing the tracks to make an impact both in DJ sets and during longer club sets. With “Rm12047,” R.A.N.D. Muzik puts the focus on precise, functional dance music while also documenting its ongoing collaboration with the producer.

“Rm12047” thus represents a compact, dancefloor-focused calling card from Reflex Blue, presenting his characteristic elements—powerful low end, crisp drum work and occasional sound effects—in a concentrated form. The release adds to the artist’s body of work to date and reinforces his position within the realms of techno, minimal and tech house.

With “Quince,” Non Series presents a compact, editorially curated cross-section that offers insights into both current production techniques and grooves informed by tradition.

Musically, “Quince” moves within the spectrum between techno, minimal, and tech house, juxtaposing these styles in varying tempos and textures. Established figures such as Rrose, Function, and Mathew Jonson shape the character of the compilation with striking contributions; tracks like “Guilty Traces,” “Shifting Borders,” and “Timelines” serve as prominent reference points within the sequence. The LP format on Non Series underscores the curatorial ambition of the release and turns “Quince” into an audible snapshot of contemporary currents within the club spectrum.

The "Conform EP" 12" by Havantepe is released on Berg Audio (catalog BERGAMON17, 2026) and presents four new tracks by the Istanbul‑born producer. The release joins the label’s so‑called "Monument" series and features full cover artwork by Juli Jah. As a 12" in the field of dub techno, the record relies on dense, atmospheric arrangements and a reductive dramaturgy that works across multiple layers of echo and space.

On the "Conform EP," Havantepe uses precisely placed textures and extended soundscapes to shape the tracks into slowly swelling progressions; the EP emphasizes subtle modulations and a sparse yet compelling groove dynamic. With this release, Berg Audio adds another entry to its catalog that underscores both the aesthetic continuity of the label and Havantepe’s penchant for hypnotic dub aesthetics. The "Conform EP" remains deliberately compact: four focused tracks, a clear visual line through the artwork, and a production signature that brings out the atmospheric qualities of dub techno.

The "Dream Nation" 12" by Code Zero is released on Wave Makers and brings together three tracks that are intentionally kept short and to the point. The EP is aimed at fans of the European underground sound of the late ’90s and early 2000s, with an emphasis on focused, club-oriented impact.

The production is modeled on the sound aesthetic of that era: powerful beats, pulsing bass structures, and dense, often melancholic synth layers that leave room for hypnotic arrangements. Instead of lavish, fully fleshed-out arrangements, the tracks rely on stripped-back, concise structures, allowing each cut to stand as its own statement while fitting seamlessly into DJ sets.

With this release on the Dream Nation imprint, Code Zero underlines his affinity with that strain of electronic music that oscillates between raw club energy and dark melodicism. The EP is a compact calling card that sharpens the project’s identity: direct, dancefloor-driven compositions with a clear connection to underground tradition, appealing equally to listeners and DJs.

The “Endless / Purge” 12" released on Confusion Is Next To Happiness is a split release by Efdemin and .Vril, bringing back the material originally issued in 2021 in revised and expanded form. The recordings have been newly mixed and remastered by Rashad Becker; in addition, a previously unreleased .Vril reinterpretation of “Endless” expands the tracklist, while the two main pieces encounter each other in remix versions.

Musically, “Endless / Purge” moves within a field of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house: arpeggiated sequences run through finely textured dub shrouds, connecting physical propulsion with a floating sense of weightlessness. Efdemin and .Vril retain their unmistakable sonic signatures, while the record channels a melancholic futurism and the machine-driven pulse of the Motor City tradition. The arrangement work emphasizes subtle dynamics and spatial depth; individual motifs are varied across different versions, so the release works both as a directly playable DJ tool and as a dense, detail-oriented studio piece. “Endless / Purge” is thus less a collection of versions than a concentrated encounter between two voices that recalibrate their shared sound across remixes and a new version.

Released on Minibar, the “Le Chat Botté E.P.” 12" by Sweely brings together four distinctive tracks that move in the space between techno, minimal, and tech house. Sweely handles both composition and production on the record himself; the French groove maker, operating out of Barcelona, delivers a concise, dance-oriented sequence that offers both DJ-friendly structures and subtle funky accents. The release comes across as a focused 12" on which rhythmic reduction and melodic elements interact on equal footing.

Musically, “Le Chat Botté E.P.” spans a range from tightly programmed minimal grooves to warm, driving tech house patterns; the title track “Le Chat Botté” serves as a striking opener, while cuts like “La Danse Des Fourbes” stand out through percussive detail and recurring bass figures. Sweely’s signature is evident across all tracks: organic-feeling sequences meet precise drum work and restrained, effect-laden synthesizers. For DJs and fans of clearly structured club music, this 12" on Minibar offers a compact, functional selection that works equally well in minimalist sets and in more driving tech house contexts.

The “Radio Hood” 12" by Robert Hood and Radio Slave, released on Rekids, marks the label’s 300th release and 20th anniversary, bringing the two producers together in direct collaboration for the first time. The double A-side single documents a pairing that Rekids has been preparing for a long time: Robert Hood first appeared on the label with distinctive remixes, including reworks of Radio Slave tracks, and returns here as an equal partner.

Musically, “Radio Hood” combines minimal drive with opulent sound design; the main track works with striking stabs and expansive textures to create a fully realized club moment despite its reduced structure. The alternative version, “Radio Hood (Version),” substantially extends the material, relying on sweeping strings, a lowered Reece bassline and nearly ten minutes of dramatic buildup that give the track additional emotional breadth. Rekids presents the release within its familiar context of electronic precision: here, Robert Hood and Radio Slave combine Detroit-honed rhythms with modern studio aesthetics, giving the 12" a clear place in the set or collection of both DJs and listeners who appreciate dense, propulsive tracks.

The 12" "Incandescence" by Arkajo brings two new tracks to Aniara: "Incandescence" on the A-side, followed by "Writhe" on the B-side. The release explores the interplay between light and shadow; a shimmering, sun-drenched house cut meets a more darkly contoured, drum-driven groover. Both tracks work with forward-driving rhythms and build a propulsive momentum that keeps the arrangements alive.

Musically, Arkajo relies on wide pads, clear chord textures, and a percussive bass foundation that leaves room for fine, glittering details. The A-side feels warm and open, with melodic elements breathing over a solid four-to-the-floor, while the B-side moves in a more direct rhythmic manner, working with accented drums and a darker tonal color. Vocals and samples recede into the background in favor of an instrument-focused club aesthetic.

Arkajo is known as the solo project of a producer well connected in the Swedish scene and as part of the Aniara cosmos, whose releases regularly oscillate between dreamy expansiveness and dance floor-oriented directness. This 12" falls squarely within that spectrum and once again demonstrates the ability to be both atmospheric and functional on the dance floor.

The "Lost Remix EP" 12" by Len Lewis is being released on 666 and brings together three previously unreleased remixes from 2002 that are now being made officially available for the first time. The 12" carries the research-driven historical aspect of the release within it: tracks that once existed only as test pressings are now entering the artist’s regular discography.

The backstory of the release reads like a small anecdote from the record scene: while digging on Discogs, a collector came across this very rarity, ordered the only known copy, and got in touch with Len Lewis. The handover never took place because the responsible distribution company collapsed; back in 2002, the pressings never got beyond the test-pressing stage. Len Lewis commented on the rediscovered record by saying, "it's like listening to someone else's music."

Musically, the EP sits somewhere between house and techno with a progressive edge; on the release, the three tracks appear as remixes under the titles "Violation (2002 Remix)," "Dark Cavern (2002 Remix)," and "Benis Die (2002 Remix)." The release on 666 adds a surprising chapter of early studio work to the producer’s previously scattered output and documents an early, club-oriented facet of his creative work.

The “Utility” LP by Barker is released on Ostgut Ton and consistently continues the dance-oriented spirit of experimentation he began on his debut EP “Debiasing.” A Berghain resident and co-founder of Leisure System, Barker playfully links club-ready structures with an exploratory approach to rhythm, harmony, and timbre on this debut LP. Across nine tracks, he probes the balance between immediate dancefloor impact and a deliberately stripped-back, genre-associated instrumentation; bass and percussive impulses function less as genre markers than as elements of a deliberate compositional intent.

Musically, Barker relies heavily on modular synthesis, self-built mechanical instruments, and plate reverbs to shape dense, at times psychedelic vignettes that oscillate between futuristic melodic lines and precisely placed rhythmic figures. In terms of content, “Utility” draws on utilitarian and transhumanist themes — models for quantifying pleasure, ideas of “gradients of happiness,” and the ethical question of minimizing suffering find concrete counterparts in the sound design. The album is not a concept record in the classic sense, but an open, candid experiment: music as a tool for maximizing experience and as a vehicle for consciousness-expanding moments, presented by Barker on Ostgut Ton in uncompromising form.

The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias, released on Vakum, combines striking techno patterns with stripped-down minimal structures and a pronounced tech house drive. Matthias uses pinpoint percussion, wide filtered pads, and subtle modular sequences to shape dense, trance-like spaces in which a pared-back groove and textural details coexist on equal footing. Vakum frames the release as a focused 12" where carefully placed breaks and a deliberately sparse bassline balance the kinetic tension between dance floor energy and more reflective undertones.

The conceptual framework of the release is narrative in nature: “In a world where the sea had swallowed every shore, humanity lived upon small floating platforms, drifting like fallen leaves across an endless blue. Beneath the waves slept the ruins of the old world, silent and forgotten. One day, a young merchant sailo”. This imagery finds its way into the arrangements by integrating melancholic melodic fragments and open sonic spaces that evoke long-lost coastlines and wide stretches of water. The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias on Vakum thus offers both clear club suitability and atmospheric depth, showcasing the artistic signature of a producer who combines a minimal approach with a hypnotic effect.

Ryan Elliott’s “Tribute” 12-inch on Faith Beat marks the label head’s first release in seven years. The EP comprises four tracks and follows a clear musical progression, moving from warm, chord-driven moments of reminiscence through stripped-back, cerebral grooves to an increasingly forceful closing phase.

“Tribute” opens with a nostalgic tone whose warmth emerges from the sustained chords and restrained dramaturgy. Ryan Elliott then noticeably pares back the structures, shifting the focus to rolling rhythms, subtle changes, and precisely placed forward momentum. The tracks develop not through abrupt breaks, but through controlled intensification within each individual arrangement.

With “Makin Time,” “Never Ever,” and “The Bounce,” the EP brings together different facets of this arc. Ryan Elliott combines melodic suggestions with stripped-back rhythms before the energy grows denser as the release progresses. The result is a cohesive, progressive statement situated between techno, minimal, and tech house.

“Tribute” also continues Ryan Elliott’s run of releases on Faith Beat, which began with the EPs “The Introduction” and “The Move.” The new 12-inch remains focused on four carefully interconnected tracks and presents the producer at a point where warmth, reduction, and rhythmic movement are closely intertwined.

The “V.A.” compilation is released on Visitors as a 12-inch and brings together New School and Old School from the club scene across four tracks. Pete Hurst aka Sloth UK and Adam Collins join forces with newcomers Locky Mazzucchelli and Sweater, delivering an EP that combines contemporary production techniques with classic dancefloor elements. Moving between techno, minimal, and tech-house, acid-inflected accents, raw basslines, and broken techno rhythms point to the different musical lineages of the participating acts. The A-side is dominated by modern, driving arrangements, while the flip side leans more heavily on familiar textures and traditional groove structures.

The EP offers versatile, DJ-friendly tracks that combine modern club energy with an old-school attitude and are characterized by clear structures. With “V.A.,” Visitors present a highly playable 12-inch whose sequencing emphasizes dynamics and mixability: four compact tracks that can be easily integrated into a variety of sets and repeatedly revisited thanks to their distinctive concepts. For anyone looking for electronic dance music between tradition and the present, the “V.A.” compilation on Visitors delivers four concise statements that fit seamlessly into any record bag.
