“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

“Toxic Funk Volume 23” by DJP is released as a 7" on Breakbeat Paradise and brings together two striking renditions: the A-side is Mad Skillz’ “The Nod Factor” in a DJP remix version, while the B-side features Black Moon’s “How Many Emcees (Must Get Dissed)” as a DJP remix. The selection connects classic hip-hop originals with modernized breaks and tighter arrangements tailored to the 7" format.

DJP approaches the tracks with a focus on punchy breakbeats, prominent bass grooves, and rhythmic cut sequences that expose and recombine the samples and vocal hooks of the originals; the result is versions that work both in club settings and in DJ sets. The release slots into the label’s ongoing “Toxic Funk” line, which regularly presents remixes and edit cuts as a 7" series, and reflects DJP’s recurring work for Breakbeat Paradise.

The underlying original tracks come from the classic hip-hop catalog: “The Nod Factor” is documented as a track by Mad Skillz, while “How Many Emcees (Must Get Dissed)” is among Black Moon’s better-known releases. On both remixes, DJP relies on stripped-down, DJ-friendly arrangements, allowing the tracks to retain their original attitude while gaining fresh rhythmic accents.

Following their eponymous 2023 debut, Chestnut People once again emerge from the Wood to deliver Volume 2, a lichen-scented batch of blissed IDM and crackling tech. While retaining the filtering step of its predecessor, Volume 2 plunges deeper into the honey pot with rich melodic density, recalling the gentle pluckings and starry-eyed glitch of 00s Icelandic electronica.

Released on STABLO, the 12" “No. 9994” by STABLO brings together two concise, untitled tracks (A: 2:19, B: 2:20) and is offered exclusively on vinyl as a strictly limited edition. On the Bandcamp page, STABLO announces the release as a one-time pressing with a per-customer purchase limit; the physical edition is clearly aimed at collectors and the DJ community.

Musically, “No. 9994” operates in the space between breaks, minimal, and tech house, with the tracks built around lean structures and compact arrangements. STABLO, as a project and label with ties to Berlin, continues a stripped-down aesthetic that relies on punchy grooves and loop-based structures; this focus is also reflected in the associated genre tags. The release comes across as the logical outcome of the project’s many years of activity.

For DJs, the 12" offers immediate applications as a transition or set element thanks to its short, focused tracks; for collectors, the limited nature of the pressing is a defining feature. The label does not explicitly provide concrete credits for producers or participating musicians, so the emphasis remains on the sound concept and the record’s physical presence.

Inhibitions are to be checked at the door with the arrival of Farsa on Step Ball Chain. Promiscuous Dubz is laced with an infectious bounce. Features a bratty breakneck remix from label head(less) Roza T herself. All tracks written, produced & mixed by Farsa in Beirut, Lebanon.

Released on Norepress, the “Surface Noise Isn't A Crime” 12" compilation brings together four tracks that treat texture, pressure, and working with imperfect sound as the central material of underground electronics. Moving between Deep Tech House, Dub Techno, Electro, and Breakbeat without strictly adhering to genre boundaries, the release maintains a balance between functionality for the club and experimental sound refinement.

A1 opens with “Flute Meditation” by Tvardovsky feat. Andrey Zverev: a dense, slowly unfolding piece that links dub space, electro tension, and hypnotic tech house motion. A2, “Regrets” by Osman Öz, is built on warm breakbeat structures, airy fragments of melody, and smooth low-end movement that generates a calm yet insistent forward momentum. On the B-side, Kirill Matveev shows his range: as Natural Piece Of Aloe he delivers “Salto Mortale,” a playfully malleable, constantly mutating cut, while “Sundub,” under the name Columbo Beat, ventures into darker territory, with acid sequences over heavy dub atmospheres and sturdy drums.

The compilation documents NOREPRESS’s consistent course of uniting raw textures and club-ready tools, presenting productions designed both for later sets and for a deep study of rhythm and space. NOREPRESS is an imprint by MixCult Records.

Originally released in 1993 on West Coast label Exist Dance, They Came In Peace sits somewhere between trip hop, downtempo, breaks, psychedelic music and the emerging West Coast rave sound.

Produced by Michael Kandel and Tom Chasteen, the track draws on early low-tempo breaks and the distinctive feel of West Coast electronics, with deep bass, loose percussion, hazy synths and psychedelic textures coming together into a slow-moving, immersive groove.

At the time, it sounded completely outside the usual rave and techno framework, favouring atmosphere, space and hypnotic repetition. A track that would slowly grow in importance over the years, becoming a true back-of-the-crate essential for early morning sessions and deep, heads-down listening.

More than thirty years later, They Came In Peace still feels futuristic, strange and deeply hypnotic, a timeless piece of early-90s West Coast electronic music.

The "Catchplay EP" 12" by Yansima is released on Kalmar and marks the debut release of the Berlin-based imprint, which is issuing it as a vinyl-only edition. The record brings together four stand-alone cuts that explore the Ukrainian producer’s potential through compact, versatile grooves and underline the label’s focus on serving as a platform for club music in physical form.

Musically, Yansima moves between house, breaks and minimal techno textures; skippy rhythms, deeply rooted basslines and precisely placed percussion elements define the arrangements. The A-side features "Basskickball" and "Catchplay", while "Once Dansa" and "Stylish Steps" anchor the B-side; the compositions shift between driving club formats and stripped-back, forward-leaning tracks. These influences and the structural focus make the EP appealing both to DJs and to listeners with a taste for finely crafted bass work.

Yansima, originally from Ukraine and active in the scene as a producer and DJ, delivers a focused statement with the "Catchplay EP" that demonstrates his ability to connect different currents within electronic music. The production relies on clear sound design and a direct approach to arrangement, allowing vinyl as a medium to convey the tracks’ specific nuances with precision.

“Cmok Va02” by various artists marks the return of the Cmok label with a compact, club-focused 12". It brings together four productions that deliberately shift between styles and use the format as a platform for dance-oriented experimentation. The compilation was put together after a longer hiatus for the label and relies less on a strictly unified concept than on a shared underlying mood that ties the tracks together.

Musically, the release moves through progressive passages, acid-tinged synth lines, stripped-back electro textures, and breakbeat-leaning rhythms; this blend allows the tracks to work in different moments and spaces while remaining guided by a unifying feel. The arrangements are tailored for use in DJ sets without sacrificing clear, catchy structures.

Contributors include Runy and Laars with “Signs & Symbols,” Antonio Zuza with “Grind Mode,” Marko Nastić with “Lights On,” and Xam with “Red Pill.” The track sequence underscores the label’s aim of documenting different shades of dance music and presenting them side by side on a single release.

With “Cmok Va02,” Cmok offers a precisely articulated tribute to versatile club aesthetics: the 12" is intentionally left open to different DJ contexts while at the same time providing solid, stylistically wide-ranging cuts that carry the label’s character.

The “Start Breaking My Heart 25th Anniversary Black Vinyl Edition” LP by Caribou was released on People Eating Fruit and documents the debut album, now available as a 25th anniversary black vinyl repress. This new edition reproduces the album in its originally known track sequence and includes on side A “Dundas, Ontario,” “People Eating Fruit,” “Mammals Vs Reptiles,” “Brandon,” and “Children Play Well Together.” Side B features “Lemon Yoghourt,” “James' Second Haircut,” “Schedules & Fares,” “Paul's Birthday,” and “Happy Ending.” The pressing reintroduces Dan Snaith’s early material as a compact vinyl experience, preserving the tactile presence of the original.

“Start Breaking My Heart” was created when Snaith, a young student in Toronto in the early 2000s, was working in a simple room with used computer hardware; the record is said to mark the moment when he found his form. Encounters with Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) opened the door to its release and are regarded as a turning point in the artist’s early career. Musically, the debut already displays his later trademarks: staggered percussion, melodic fragments, and playful vocal snippets that present the album as a formative yet warm piece of electronic pop aesthetics.

The “Prime Time” 12-inch by Pureblast and Sa+Ga, released on Punctuality, marks a confident push into the label’s club context and brings the Parisian duo together with the guest project at a sharply focused point. The EP gathers driving, short-form tracks that take their cues from peak-time structures and send clear signals to the dance floor; noteworthy cuts on the record include “Pleasure Principle,” “Dirty Thirty,” and “Ace Feeling.”

The release reads like a statement of intent: Pureblast, previously defined by powerful breakbeats, trance-tinged synth motifs, and a preference for analog drums, showcase tight songwriting and precise sound design on “Prime Time” that is likely to prove itself quickly in DJ sets. The production emphasizes dense bass foundations and punchy percussion, while melodic elements build tension and ensure the tracks also function as effective tools for club play. For those familiar with the Paris scene, the 12-inch offers a direct, to-the-point snapshot of the project.

The “88-92 It Is What It Was” double LP by Ramjac Corporation is released on Musique Pour La Danse and brings together selected archive recordings from the early rave and club era. The release documents material that originally sat on old storage media and has been remixed for this edition; the project reconstructs the raw beats and breaks of those years in a contemporary way while preserving the character of the original recordings.

With Ramjac Corporation, Musique Pour La Danse presents a record that focuses on breaks / breakbeat, while also letting elements of the early UK underground and live-oriented performance practices shine through. The production emphasizes sampling and percussion work as developed by Ramjac, the alias of Paul Chivers, in the late 1980s and early 1990s. On a technical level, the tracks were re-arranged and mixed down from the existing floppy-disk sources, giving the double LP a direct connection between archival material and today’s sound processing.

The “88-92 It Is What It Was” double LP offers a focused look at a formative creative period of Ramjac Corporation and adds a documentary-leaning chapter of breakbeat history to the Musique Pour La Danse program.

The “Filling Your Silence” LP by J.D. Slater is released on Dark Entries and brings the soundtracks from the early Raging Stallion films to vinyl in newly remastered form. J.D. Slater wrote, produced, and recorded the material in 1999 at H.O.H. Studios in San Francisco; the remastering was handled by Frederic Aldstat. Dark Entries presents nine tracks that oscillate between driving techno arrangements, sparse minimal elements, and tech house–inspired grooves, sharply accentuating the original material.

Musically, “Filling Your Silence” offers a blend of sleazy beats and trance-like moments: opener “Seduction” starts with a synthetic pan flute, builds into wild groove passages, and releases the tension in a jazzy electric piano vamp. “Running With Scissors” pushes the tempo with skeletal breakbeats and a portamento-heavy lead, while “Mercy” and “Mercy (2nd Movement)” explore bleep-leaning textures that recall early ambient and Warp aesthetics. The record focuses on endless groove development and subtle arrangement details that preserve its soundtrack character. The vinyl edition includes a single-sided insert with archival Raging Stallion press materials. Once described as “quite possibly the best music for sex ever written,” “Filling Your Silence” remains a distinctive testament to Slater’s electronic work.

The Frequency Damage EP 12" by DJ Quest, released on Cyberfunk, presents four new productions that translate the core of his more than 25 years of breakbeat experience into fresh arrangements. The four tracks on the Frequency Damage EP fuse downbeat and leftfield elements with clear electronic structures and show a consistent focus on sound design and groove.

DJ Quest weaves old-school funk influences together with rolling basslines and punchy club grooves; precisely constructed drums and modular soundscapes provide precise timing and spatial depth. On the EP, stripped-back, atmospheric passages stand alongside driving breaks, so that each production sets its own accents without disrupting the cohesive flow of the record. The modern production techniques bring out the details, from substantial sub-bass frequencies to subtle percussion shadings.

For the Cyberfunk label, the Frequency Damage EP stands as a programmatic statement of electronic craftsmanship: here, DJ Quest documents both his stylistic range and the production techniques that mark him out as one of the pioneers of the bassline breaks movement. The release offers compact insight into the current work of a producer who brings together the past and present of breakbeat, for long-time fans and newcomers alike.

The release uses the pared-down two-track format to present clearly defined, DJ-friendly arrangements.

Musically, the material operates in the realm of beat-driven breakbeat and rave references; the productions rely on punchy drum patterns, rolling bass figures and catchy, repeated motifs that slot easily into club contexts. The approach favors concise, effective phrasing over sprawling developments, making the tracks work both as opening and peak-time options.

The label profile of Rave 2 The Grave emphasizes nostalgic renditions of familiar sonic signatures, which is reflected in the selection and production of this 12-inch; the result is a compact release tailored for dancefloor use that is likely to appeal to listeners and DJs alike.

The "Nightfalls" 12-inch by Dave Seaman has been released on Selador and presents the track in a new version tailored for vinyl. This edition highlights the dancefloor-ready qualities of the production and emphasizes the DJ-friendly dynamics that Dave Seaman has established over the years as a producer and selector.

For decades, Dave Seaman has embodied a distinctive fusion of progressive house aesthetics and driving techno elements; slow-burning tension arcs alternate with bass-heavy moments and precise rhythms, making his productions both atmospheric and highly effective in the club. This stylistic signature is also audible on "Nightfalls": the original motifs are underpinned by clear, deep basslines and pinpoint sonic details that function as narrative tools in a DJ set.

This 12-inch brings together reworked versions of the track by Elif, Cioz, and Dilby, as well as Dave Seaman’s own revision, and is conceived as a foretaste of his forthcoming album. The remixes take on the material in different ways, ranging from club-focused reworks to more densely atmospheric versions, making the record a rewarding addition to the Selador catalog for DJs behind the decks as well as listeners who appreciate Seaman’s production language.

The "Lis003" 12" compilation by various artists was released on Lisosmuha and brings together four concise cuts that oscillate between broken rhythms, minimal electronics, and darker electro inflections. The selection focuses on rhythmic playfulness and subtle arcs of tension rather than overt, hands-in-the-air club anthems.

A1 comes from Xorsia ("Cash For Sex") and opens the record with a broken-beat framework and striking vocal samples; A2 introduces Victor.B with the track "Stt," whose stripped-down arrangement is built on tight, driving patterns. On the B-side, Vitya Payal'nik ("Zikr Atagi") and Lisovskyi ("Dyr Dyr") deliver varied beats that move along minimal house and beat aesthetics, leaving ample room for atmospheric ruptures. These compositions emphasize textures and groove as the unifying elements of the release.

With the "Lis003" compilation, Lisosmuha continues its approach of gathering young producers from a tightly knit, electronically oriented scene; names like Lisovskyi have already appeared on previous Lisosmuha releases and stand for a carefully curated, location-independent sound that shifts between experimental beats and danceable clarity. The record thus works both as a functional tool for DJs and as a document of a current, industrially tinged beat aesthetic.

The A-side features “Childs Play” and “Leave Him Alone,” while the B-side carries “Tinkerbell” and “At The Carnival”; the cuts showcase striking rhythmic work, concise arrangements, and production that marks Chris Simmonds as the driving force behind it all. Characteristic bass motifs and minimalist sound textures alternate with break-oriented accents, making the record a catalyst for both club play and DJ sampling. Fragments of the tracks surfaced in sets by well-known early‑90s DJs, which further boosted its reputation within the scene.

The 12" "Squeaks / Snake Style" released on Cyberfunk by DJ Quest is a two-sided release that directly follows on from the "Frequency Damage" EP and picks up on key elements from Quest’s early productions. DJ Quest works with rolling breakbeats, heavy basslines, and pronounced analog synth work to create a gritty, futuristic soundscape that fuses references to classic bassline breaks with contemporary low-end impact. Both tracks pursue a clear production ethos: analytical, detailed work on the synth lines combined with a punchy groove engineered for DJ sets.

The A-side, "Squeaks," showcases shrill electronic squeaks and evolving analog sounds, while the driving drums and distinctive bass foundation immediately mark the track as a signature Quest cut. On the B-side, "Snake Style," the energy shifts toward a hypnotic, rolling breakbeat groove dominated by skewed synth textures and a weighty low-end drive. The 12" comes with an included booklet that brings together artwork and visual retrospectives from Quest’s catalog, further presenting the release as a compact retrospective. "Squeaks / Snake Style" confirms DJ Quest’s role as a key proponent of bassline-inspired breakbeat aesthetics within the Cyberfunk roster.

The sound moves between dancefloor-ready directness and tripped-out, almost futuristic techno moments; in particular, the tracks “System Exclusive” and “Depth Charged” showcase this blend of bleepy motifs and warm synth melodies. The brevity of the individual tracks allows ideas to be stated concisely, while subtle variations in tempo and percussion maintain the momentum between them. In this way, “Emerarudo” comes across as a concentrated calling card by Niwa Tatsui on the YoY label: electronically rooted, rhythmically varied, and deliberately tailored to physical presentation on vinyl.

The record functions like a compendium of different production approaches: Nathan Fake opens with expansive synth pads and atmospheric drones, SHE Spells Doom introduces raw, African-influenced bass and club impulses, Shanx focuses on fragmented effects and dark textures, while efemme contributes subtle acid and minimal elements. Sinistarr delivers an energetic, rhythmically fractured take that shifts the material into a faster, more driving context.

“Captivated Heart: Remixed” broadens the perspective on Hrdvsion’s original and shows how a single song, through varying arrangements between techno, minimal, and tech house, can inhabit different club and listening situations. The 12" keeps these juxtaposed approaches tightly contained and thus enables a direct comparison of production styles without ever losing sight of the central melody. For Hrdvsion, the release remains a clear statement on the mutability of electronic tracks and the productive power of collaborative remix culture on the Creaked label.

Musically, the 12" ranges from sparse, ambient‑infused textures to more driving arrangements that lean toward electro and breakbeat. Guests Lost.Act and Nacho Bolognani both appear: the joint track “Bouncing Visa” is characterized by syncopated percussion and minimal layers of melody; “Step Outside” is built around prominent feature elements by Nacho Bolognani; and Maulini’s remix of Ildec’s “Dmoni” shifts the source material into a more densely orchestrated, club‑ready context. “Underwater Lullaby” serves as an atmospheric opener, setting up the arc between introspective passages and rhythm‑focused moments.

The production relies on clear bass foundations, subtly used leads, and psychologically charged pauses that let the tracks breathe. A Journey Through Tides on Mau presents Giorgio Maulini as a producer who prioritizes detail in arrangement and sound design, bringing together both restrained and energetic facets of his work across the 12".

Released on YYK no label, Chris Korda’s “Primitive Man” 12" presents four meticulously crafted tracks that fuse electronic rhythms with conceptual sharpness. Korda anchors the record in an electro framework, using stripped-down beats and intricate metric shifts as structural principles, and on the title track complements the instrumental work with pointed, satirical lyrics.

Lyrically, the eponymous “Primitive Man” contrasts archaic imagery with cynical everyday scenes, while “Lunch Break” functions as a thunderous breakbeat reworking of Korda’s pro-vegan anthem “Fleshdance.” The remaining tracks, “K35” and “Saz,” emerge as predominantly instrumental compositions that display subtle influences of traditional Turkish music; the use of complex polymeter, a recurring technique in Korda’s work, generates a distinct rhythmic tension. Taken together, “Primitive Man” forms a focused electronic EP cycle whose character derives from rhythmic concentration and thematic sharpness.

The “E-Funk / Twisty” 12" released on Human by Scarper delivers two tightly focused dancefloor cuts in a stripped-back, vinyl-centered edition; the A-side features the title track “E-Funk,” while the B-side contains “Twisty” — on the vinyl version, “Twisty” takes the place of the digital B-side “Rhodopsin.” The release came out on August 16, 2020 and was officially licensed to the new label HUMAN; it is presented as a limited edition 12" with an additional digital download.

Musically, Scarper moves between garage, 2-step, UK funky, and bassline; according to the release notes, “E-Funk” weaves elements of 2-step, house, and breaks into a cross-genre club track with distinctive melodies, while “Twisty” continues the B-side’s dancefloor focus. On Bandcamp, the release is described as the first part in a series of dancefloor-oriented two-trackers by Scarper, and the production showcases the producer’s preference for layered synth lines and sharply defined rhythms. Support from scene heavyweights such as Carl Craig, Skream, and Kelly Lee Owens underlines the record’s impact among DJs. The 12" thus offers a compact, club-focused presentation of two complementary tracks that assert their own weight on vinyl.

Released on Personality Disorder Music, the 12-inch “Mind Games Remixes (Part 1)” brings together renditions of tracks from the circle around David Gtronic & Reboot and zeroes in on four precisely executed remixes. The compilation includes contributions from Voigtmann, Cristi Cons, Mihai Pol, and Alexis Cabrera; in addition, versions by Evghenia & Mathew Jonson, LVCA, Alci, and Alex Celler are also mentioned, opening up various perspectives on the source material. Each version works with its own set of starting points without losing its focus on stripped-back arrangements.

Musically, the 12-inch moves between stripped-down minimal, dense, deep textures, and hypnotic grooves. This range is exemplified by Voigtmann’s “Leave Your Body (Voigtmann's Broken Tequila Mix)” and Mihai Pol’s “Mind Games (Mihai Pol Remix),” which explore different tempos and rhythmic approaches for the dance floor. Cristi Cons’ “Loose” remix and Alexis Cabrera’s “Kongafluss (Tell Me A Story Remix)” round out the package with detailed percussion and a dramaturgical development that offers both atmospheric depth and structural precision. “Mind Games Remixes (Part 1)” confirms Personality Disorder Music’s focus on finely tuned, dance-oriented productions at the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech-house.

Released on Darkhorse Music, the "Formulation" 12" compilation presents four previously unreleased tracks that distill the label’s output from the past twelve months. The EP features two cuts on the A-side by Iron T.C. and Hor‑G, built around aggressive drums, heavy distortion, and raw openness; here, gritty electro vibes fuse with industrial breakbeat elements to form compact, hard‑hitting tracks. On the B‑side, Heathen, The Egg, and No Rules push the tempo forward, layering dark sonic landscapes over metallic drum patterns that repeatedly tilt into halftime‑style rhythms.

"Formulation" stays firmly rooted in the electronic realm and shows Darkhorse Music in distilled form: short arrangements, clear rhythmic choices, and a stripped‑down production focused on distortion and percussion give the 12" a sharp profile. The compilation documents the label’s stylistic breadth within the electro spectrum, emphasizing both direct, dancefloor‑oriented energy and textural darkness. Its concise track sequence makes the compilation a practice‑oriented release for sets where tight, aggressive cuts sit alongside tempo‑shifted halftime passages.

The 12" U Like Bass, released on Deviantix, is a compilation with a clear focus on bass-driven club music. The release includes five tracks and puts handzfree center stage with the title track "U Like Bass"; there is also a Fred Quest remix version of the same material. The A-side is rounded out by "What 'Bout Me?", which appears on the B-side in its original form as well as in two remixes by Harry Wills (as Brazen) and Footwork Honey. The producers and remixers involved each contribute differently accented takes on the same source material.

Musically, "U Like Bass" moves between techno, minimal, and tech house, combining deep bass foundations with stripped-back arrangements. The compilation emphasizes concise rhythmic structures: pinpointed break elements and delicate percussion complement the dominant basslines, creating a dense yet sober club aesthetic. With this 12", Deviantix presents a release that, through both the original track and the various remix approaches, offers a versatile selection of cuts for DJ sets and dance floor–oriented programming.

“Raveart Sampler One” by various artists brings together selected tracks from Spain’s breakbeat scene on a 12" vinyl release and carries catalog number RR003 on the Raveart label. The compilation unites names such as Aggresivnes, Destroyers, Bubu, Yo Speed, Prody, and Müme, presenting a cross-section of current productions from the southern Spanish scene.

Musically, the record leans on distinctive breakbeat grooves, syncopated drum programming, and powerful low-end foundations; the tracks combine classic club structures with locally shaped influences, linking dance-oriented arrangements with occasional melodic motifs. A hallmark of the participating acts is a direct handling of rhythm and tempo that serves both DJ- and crowd-oriented dynamics.

For Raveart, this release also marks a return to vinyl after several years, with the label emphasizing the regional roots and club tradition of the artists involved. The 12" edition thus works both as a collector’s pressing and as a practical DJ medium, bringing together local production strength and breakbeat aesthetics.

Zach Murray is a fast-rising London producer who makes a great impression here with an ambitious and ultimately accomplished double pack on Oscuro. The title track 'Pieces Of The Puzzle' opens with sweeping ambient before 'Chill Pill' explores as glistening melodic world of futuristic tech and 'Can't Stop The Rain' has an old-school energy to its marching drums and rave stabs. There are also forays into acidic electro like on 'Keep Chasin'' and rugged breaks on 'Phase Me', elastic house sounds on 'Dubmotions' and cosmic turbulence in the trippy 'Dreams,' all of which show off this producer's versatility in style.

The "Tmhcas003" tape is a split release by Dr Banana and T Dunn vs Dale Mussington, released on Timehri. Across two sides, the tape documents a live set from a particularly raw afterparty at Old Street Brewery Queens Yard, translating the unfiltered club atmosphere directly onto tape. Side A is handled by Dr Banana, while Side B comes from Dale Mussington vs T Dunn; the recording captures around two hours of continuous mixing.

Musically, the release moves between rolling house, UK garage, and breaks: rapid shifts in rhythmic phrasing, emphasized groove layers, and atmospheric elements create an immediate flow that leans more on DJ selection and skillful transitions than on individual productions. Characteristic is the afterparty aesthetic—loose, punchy, and always focused on the dance floor—so the sets function as documentary snapshots of a moment in time.

As part of the Timehri universe, "Tmhcas003" takes its place among the London label’s handpicked club recordings and special drops, dedicated to the underground spectrum of house, garage, and breaks. The release is complemented by visual footage from Ollie Trenchard that captures the setting of the night.

The 7-inch single “Toxic Funk Volume 22” by Dal Platinum, released on Breakbeat Paradise, brings together two tracks: the A-side “Shave The Lords” and the B-side “Good Shines.” The format is deliberately compact and aimed equally at collectors and DJs looking for functional, concise vinyl tools.

Musically, the release relies on funk-driven breaks and edit-oriented arrangements: crisp drum samples, prominent basslines, and fragmentary hook elements structure the tracks. In the tradition of the “Toxic Funk” series, this results in condensed grooves that bridge old-school funk and modern breakbeat aesthetics, underscoring the series’ character as a source of dusty, high-energy edits.

On this release, Dal Platinum stays true to the concept that has already defined his earlier contributions to Breakbeat Paradise: the fusion of funk, hip-hop, and soul elements into dancefloor-focused edit versions. The production emphasizes clear edit points and DJ-friendly track lengths, making the two cuts function as compact tools both for use in DJ sets and for pure listening enjoyment.

The "Run To Survive" 12" by Acidulant is released on Analog Concept. The record shows the producer in his familiar acid-heavy territory, linking a direct dancefloor focus with playful synth textures; the A-side opens with the title track "Run To Survive," followed by "All I Want is Everything You Got" and the soft, melodic "Chordzi."

"Run To Survive" leans on a vocoder-soaked spoken vocal, concentrated acid lines, and nocturnal pad melodies that immerse the track in a dark, club-ready setting. "All I Want is Everything You Got" builds waves of melancholy and leads into a bass register with a dystopian feel, while "Chordzi" provides a soothing counterpoint with sunny pads and cosmic acid figures. This dramaturgical sequence highlights Acidulant’s fondness for groove and carefully structured sonic spaces.

The B-side brings together two remixes that cast the main track in new lights: EKATA gives "Run To Survive" an almost industrial aura, with hard kicks and dense snares, while Mutex offers an introspective take, oscillating between IDM, breaks, and acid electro via warm, atmospheric chords, flowing acid basslines, and breakbeat elements. Taken together, the 12" presents a compact EP with strong character, packed with energy and highly individual sonic signatures.

The "Submarí 001" 12" compilation was released on Submarí and, as a debut EP, marks the launch of a new series centered on slow beats and aquatic soundscapes. Its presentation combines a deliberately reduced tempo with wide‑ranging textures; the production emphasizes space and depth, so the tracks feel like signals drifting up to the surface from Mediterranean depths.

Musically, the compilation moves at the intersection of breakbeat and downtempo: gentle, measured rhythms meet atmospheric synths and field recordings that are often built on a minimalist, almost meditative structure. The arrangements rely on subtle dynamics and layers of texture rather than showy effects, creating a cohesive, narrative flow across the 12".

The compilation brings together contributions from Flud (aka Ewan Jansen), Atawël, Jack Tiraquon (aka Space Dimension Controller), Harry Wills, and DMC, resulting in a varied yet coherent sonic spectrum. Each contribution adds its own specific approach to the series’ central motifs, so that "Submarí 001," as an opening chapter, both articulates the label’s signature and highlights the individual sound concepts of the participating artists.

Baile & Nuage land on Shall Not Fade with their ‘Back 2 Earth’ EP

Four deeeep timeless tracks on this 12 inch. Sleek, progressive, acidy house & trancey ethereal breaks ‘Back 2 Earth’ is full of that headsy 90’s energy à la Underworld and Orbital…..we’ve been getting very lost in these ones!

Written remotely between Brooklyn, New York (Baile) and Yerevan, Armenia (Nuage) both producers are more than a decade deep in their craft and it shows. They say “this all began with Nuage sending over a few short demos. Baile took those pieces and constructed them into more fleshed out tracks, after which the two passed the songs back and forth slowly filling in the blanks.” …and that's the key here - no rush, no agenda just the realest takes expertly hewn.

Same Beat on the A1 is just that.. breakbeats, spoken word vocal chops and repetitive synth lines, but less is more. The percussion, bassline and programming do the work. Sometimes it's more about what you leave out than what you put in.

On ‘tsp’ you Nuage’s signature metallic synths. It’s a definite eyes closed/hands in the air weapon. Hypnotic flow building and ratcheting up the energy.

Flip over to title track’ Back 2 Earth’ and we get a trancey, garage and house blend. Sleek synths & arpeggios and minimal chops that seem to whisper ‘heaven…earth’.. Baile utilized the Prophet Rev2 for pads and synths and a Moog Little Phatty and Minitaur for the bass but we want to know can a breakbeat soothe?

'Catch Yourself' closes out the EP.. More breaks and arpeggios but this time with an acid lead from the Tb-03, grungy bass and warm gated synths underneath. Sample spotters you aren’t scoring any points here, the “I know that sample” vocal here come from Felicia Douglass (a frequent collaborator of Baile’s who is in The Dirty Projectors and Ava Luna) and makes double the point that this EP is one of those ones that even on first listen you already know it. ‘Back 2 Earth’ has been on the SNF schedule for a minute so big up Baile & Nuage for the patience but what that extra private time has meant, is that we can say with certainty that this EP keeps sounding better & better & better..

The "Time Space Us" 12" by Mang Esilo is being released on Green Green and marks the launch of the new label. Style-wise, the record is rooted in techno, electro, acid, and breaks, offering a direct line to the dance floor through tight arrangements and rawly produced sonic spaces.

On this record, rhythm and movement take center stage: precise, tight rhythms meet acid-like textures and driving grooves that highlight the physical dimension of the music. The tracks rely on reduced but effective structures, allowing each section to fully unfold its impact in club environments and keeping the energy in constant ascent.

Mang Esilo, a producer and DJ active in Seoul, brings his many years of experience in electronic music to this 12", shaping the tracks from a dance floor–oriented perspective. His previous releases and collaborations in the South Korean underground clearly point toward rhythm-focused techno and related variants, which is why the launch of Green Green Records can be understood as a deliberate move to carry a distinct perspective on Seoul’s underground scene out into the world.

The compilation “Rr001” is released as a 12" on Ruminant and marks the launch of the label, which is dedicated to the afterlife of American rave and breaks traditions. Ruminant returns archival material to the dance floor, connects it with contemporary remix perspectives, and focuses on how these tracks can work anew today. On “Rr001,” the music of the late DJ Dic takes center stage; the release directly references his work on the North Carolinian Hoodwink label and emphasizes the raw, dynamic energy of the early breaks scene.

The A-side opens with DJ Dic’s “All A Dream,” which weaves breaks together with machine-like funkiness and stands out through a hypnotic vocal line: “do you remember, I thought you were there.” The remix by Stones Taro from Kyoto pulls the original around a feverish hook and a driving break that ramps the track up to club level. On the B-side, “Hypnotize” follows, whose disciplined, compact rhythmic structure gradually leads into a dense, timeless void. The “Johnny Cage Procrastination Mix” lets some air back in: with bounce, dripping FX, and synth-laced moments, this version introduces playful accents without giving up the edgy underlying tension, bringing the record full circle between excess and restraint.

The "Junkeira Purple Vinyl Edition" by Moreno Acido & Diogo is released as a 12-inch on Discos Extendes and brings together four driving cuts, purpose-built for the club. The record features the tracks "100 Planos," "Turbo Love," "Wtf," and "Freak," whose brevity and directness are structurally geared toward maximum impact on the dance floor. The sequencing creates clear contrasts between propulsive breaks and sharply defined acid moments, avoiding any unnecessary filler.

Musically, the duo moves between acid lines, assertive basslines and broken rhythmic structures; the production blends analog warmth with focused distortion and contemporary breakbeat approaches. A hallmark of their style is the interplay of nostalgic rave elements and contemporary sound-design aesthetics, through which melodic fragments and hard-hitting percussion coalesce into a distinctive, danceable whole.

Moreno Acido & Diogo have been working closely together across several joint projects; early collaborations such as the "Roçadas" project laid the foundation for the sonic familiarity heard here. Diogo runs Discos Extendes as a platform for this and similar releases, transforming local influences from Lisbon into a club language that translates internationally.

Released on Home/Made, the "Home/Made Cuts" 12" compilation comprises four concise contributions and, style-wise, brings together techno, minimal, and tech house. In doing so, Home/Made puts a focused exclamation point on its agenda and presents a compact selection of productions that balance between pulsating groove fragments and stripped-down, hypnotic patterns.

Fragoso opens with "Torcendo O Tempo," a track built on pumping bass sequences and sparsely placed percussive elements, while Reu.Ven contributes "Meio Morno," a lean, driving variant of tech house. Andy Caz adds "Dispersar," a densely atmospheric track whose minimalist arrangements leave room for subtle textural work. Rowan & Bessone close the record with "Eternidade Efémera," a piece defined by subtle break elements and a stretched-out, almost meditative tension. Each track stays tightly focused and relies on clear, functional structures rather than overloaded production; this creates a cohesive flow across the 12", exploring the range between club-readiness and detailed listening finesse. The "Home/Made Cuts" 12" offers a concentrated impression of the label’s sonic aesthetic and delivers four precisely crafted statements for play time in a DJ set or focused listening.

With the 12-inch “Introspective EP” released on Freerange, Reverie presents the next level of his creativity while, overall, staying true to his style. Conceptually, the release bridges warm-toned house arrangements and introspective, almost ambient interludes; basslines take the lead while melodic motifs unfold slowly, leaving room for detail.

Reverie relies on a stripped-back yet effective instrumentation: gently modulated synthesizers, understated percussion and layered pads create a dense atmosphere that still preserves its dancefloor impulses. The tracks are arranged to work both in a club context and in more low-key settings, without coming across as intrusive.

Characteristic of Reverie remains the delicate balance between emotional restraint and kinesthetic drive; precisely placed breaks and subtly sung vocal snippets provide recognizable signatures. The production shows a keen sense for timbre and dynamics, making the “Introspective EP” on Freerange a cohesive addition to the artist’s body of work and a continuation of his characteristic style.

The "Deep Blue EP" by 95 Steps on Positive Future Music continues the label’s mission of presenting contemporary electronic music with a positive energy. Stylistically, the EP sits somewhere between breaks and house, a direction 95 Steps has already explored on earlier releases.

95 Steps, who also appears under the name Size, works with a preference for broken rhythms, warm basslines, and subtle melodic leads; this combination defines the project’s signature sound while allowing for cross-genre moments between electro, garage, and classic house aesthetics. The production focuses on clearly placed drums and organic bass structures without getting lost in flashy effects.

Positive Future Music, the Paris-based label run by Poggio and Gabriel Belabbas, once again provides a platform with this release for club-ready yet melody-driven tracks that work both in DJ sets and for private listening. The "Deep Blue EP" thus fits seamlessly into the label’s catalog, which is built around feel-good grooves and clean, well-crafted arrangements.

The “Moondust” 12" by Trevor Loveys is released on Freerange and brings together the original version of the title track along with “U Know It” and “U Know It (Solid Groove Mix).”

Musically, the release sits in the realm of house: driving four‑on‑the‑floor rhythm, layered melodic lines, and hints of disco‑oriented motifs shape the arrangements. The tracks are clearly tailored for club play, with extended running times that leave room for build‑ups and thematic variations; this approach is in keeping with Freerange as a platform for dance‑oriented, produced electronic music.

On this record, Trevor Loveys appears both as composer and producer of the tracks; the remake of “U Know It” was handled by Solid Groove, who gives the piece an alternative, DJ‑friendly reading. All three versions run at around six to seven minutes, which aligns the 12" with seamless mixing and extended club sets. As an early Freerange release, “Moondust” falls in line with the label’s characteristic house releases.

The “Are We Being Clear?” 12" by Yennah, released on Freerange, translates the sonic direction of the project surrounding the album “Red Noise” into a DJ‑friendly format. This single brings the characteristic connection between electronic groove language and organic instrumentation to the fore and documents a creative phase of the duo in which arrangement depth and club compatibility go hand in hand.

Yennah is the production duo of Mark Wadsworth and Sam Kynaston; their work is defined by jazz‑inclined harmonies, intricate percussion work, and a preference for warm, analog‑tinged textures. On “Are We Being Clear?” supple basslines and airy woodwind moments stand out, while electronic layers shape the rhythmic framework. The production emphasizes clear separation of instruments and melodic detail, enabling the track to make an impact both in focused listening and in DJ sets.

As a 12" single, the record concentrates on the most striking, groove‑oriented passages of the original and makes them available for use in the mix. The release is emblematic of Freerange’s interest in organically inflected electronics that link jazz elements with house and downtempo structures, building stylistic bridges between the club and the living room.

The "Half Step" 12" by Shur-I-Kan is released on Freerange and brings together the original track plus two remix versions, including Simbad's House Retouch and a Simbad vs. Mowgly Late Nite Mix. The release is listed as a 12" in the FR025 series catalog and is part of Shur-I-Kan's long-standing collaboration with the label.

Shur-I-Kan, a producer deeply rooted in house and an accomplished keyboard player, has built his name over many years; he also co-runs Dark Energy Recordings and is one of the defining figures in the Freerange circle. His biography reflects the link between band experience and an electronic studio approach, a combination that is clearly audible in his arrangements.

Musically, "Half Step" sits in the realm of deep, melodic house: compact grooves meet warmly guided keyboard lines and production focused on rhythm and mood. The retouches contributed by Simbad and the joint mix with Mowgly add further versions that offer different takes on the track for a range of DJ contexts, from house-driven club setups to late-night sets with a stronger emphasis on groove and atmosphere. In this way, the 12" stands as a prime example of Shur-I-Kan's sound: carefully crafted song structure, tentative harmonies, and a keen sense for reliable dancefloor moments.

After years of shaping dancefloors worldwide and carefully curating the sonic and visual identity of Up The Stuss, Dutch favourite Chris Stussy presents his most expansive and personal statement to date with his debut album, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten...’. Landing on 3rd April, the album unfolds across three interconnected chapters - ‘Lost’, ‘Found’, and ‘Forgotten’ - each revealing a different side of his creative world across 19 tracks while remaining tethered to a singular wider vision.

At its core, ‘Lost, Found & Forgotten...’ is an exploration of creative freedom. Visually and conceptually guided by the image of a kite, the album reflects movement, perspective, and balance. Floating freely yet always anchored, the kite mirrors Chris’s approach to music: unrestricted in emotion and imagination, but grounded in groove, craftsmanship, and intention. It’s a symbol that naturally extends the Up The Stuss identity; pointing skyward, embracing openness, and encouraging curiosity.

“This album has been a long time in the making, and I’m excited to finally share it with you. The process behind it - exchanging ideas with other artists and creating music outside of my comfort zone - has been an incredible experience. It gave me a true sense of freedom, allowing me to not think about boundaries or expectations. I’ve never been more proud of a project than this one. It’s deeply personal, and it represents my sound as a whole. I hope you listen with an open mind and find something in it that resonates with you.” - Chris Stussy.

The ‘Lost’ chapter opens the album by giving new life to music once left behind. These are tracks written across different moments in Chris’s journey, ideas that never quite found a home until now. Rather than relics of the past, they emerge re-discovered, refined, and fully realised. ‘

Found’ represents inspiration in motion. Sparked by collaboration, digging, and shared creative exchange, this chapter captures the moment when ideas connect, and colour floods the sky.

The album closes with ‘Forgotten’ - a nod to the deeper cuts, the B-sides, and the moments that reward patience. This chapter is for the heads and diggers; tracks that may not demand immediate attention but reveal their value over time.

Released on Big Trouble, the Ziegelstr. EP 12" by Cryme brings together four tracks that fuse stripped‑down, dubby house arrangements with dancefloor‑oriented intimacy. Cryme wrote and produced the tracks and also handled the mixing; mastering and cutting were done by Marco at Analogcut, with artwork by Gabriel Picard (Liorzh).

Musically, the EP bridges Detroit inflections and early UK house: driving, occasionally breakbeat‑inflected drum patterns meet powerful Detroit synths, distinctive stabs, and dense pads. The compositions rely on hypnotic grooves, tight textures, and an undercurrent of funk, making the tracks suitable both for club sets and for focused DJ mixes. This stylistic blend firmly anchors the release in the contemporary Berlin house context.

Ziegelstr. is the studio’s location and formerly housed the Berlin label Seven, which Cryme co‑founded; it was there that encounters with Big Trouble founder Andre Zimmer took place and ultimately led to the release on the label. The record is distributed by One Eye Witness and joins the Big Trouble catalog as its 27th installment.

With the 12" Of Sand EP released on Feines Tier, Paul Valentin presents the next level of his creativity while, by and large, staying true to his style. After the dissolution of his distinctive duo project Ameli Paul, the Berlin-based musician and producer uses the EP to mark personal and sonic realignments, with the shift from collective collaboration to a more independent artistic signature taking center stage.

In his work, Paul Valentin combines acoustic elements with electronic processing and field recordings, resulting in an evocative, often slightly unreal sonic spectrum. On the Of Sand EP, this synthesis appears in dense, textured arrangements: stripped-down melodic fragments and carefully placed layers of percussion meet atmospheric washes that leave room for individual takes.

The EP not only documents a stylistic step, but also a producer’s perspective that relies on a fine-tuned sensitivity to tone color and form. Paul Valentin employs nuanced production techniques to condense fragments while preserving openness; the result is a cohesive structure of introspective passages and electronically shaped frameworks that clearly maps out his artistic course.

The "Somewhere Lost" 12" by Pierre Marty was released on Optical Desillusion. The release centers on dense sound textures and a sharply defined yet futuristic production that emphasizes the use of electronic machines as a central compositional tool. Here, Pierre Marty articulates a reduced, precise approach in which rhythms and atmospheric layers are brought into a carefully balanced relationship.

Optical Desillusion emerged in collaboration with Pierre Marty from a desire to explore independent musical territories and maintain an open perspective on contemporary electronic music. The label’s visual identity features a logo by Paul Tellimerg, also known as DJ Immortal, which complements the project’s aesthetic self-conception. Conceptually, the label’s aesthetic draws on the legacy of Detroit music—not as a strict guideline, but as a source of inspiration for depth, precision, and an occasionally futuristic sonic approach.

The record brings together club-oriented energy with experimental moments; the remix by Matthias Cheval, aka Mmmh, stands as a representative example of the dialogue between different sonic ideas and opens up a view onto their aesthetic intersections. Overall, on "Somewhere Lost," Pierre Marty presents a consistent continuation of his approach: electronic precision, textural depth, and an audible affinity for the intersection of the dance floor and experimental exploration.

The "Dance Factor Yellow Vinyl Edition" by Ellis Dee appears as a 12-inch release on the Vinyl Fanatiks label and documents the re-release of an early classic from the rave scene. To celebrate the so-called Ellis Dee Month, the material was reissued for the first time since 2019—this time on yellow vinyl—with the A-side based on the original 1992 recording that Roy self-released as a one-sided cut back then. The B-side features the 2019 rendition, which updates the historic core in a contemporary way.

Musically, the release sits in the realm of early rave, breakbeat, and jungle influences that are characteristic of Ellis Dee: driving breaks, distinctive basslines, and a raw, club-oriented groove define the track and reflect the artist’s evolution from acid house and hardcore through to drum & bass and breakbeat. This stylistic range explains why the recording works both as a historical document of the early ’90s sound and as a playable club track.

On the technical side, the A-side for this edition was newly remastered by Dapz and recut for 2026 by Beau, resulting in greater clarity in playback. The edition is limited and comes in a Vinyl Fanatiks sleeve with black inner sleeve; the supplied material was mastered at Compound Audio and cut at Ten Eight Seven. This reissue therefore offers both collectors and working DJs a documented, sonically updated version.

The LP "Nu-S3rvo Volume 2," released on Nu-S3rvo, is the label’s second compilation and brings together contributions from seven producers from Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Chengdu. The collection assembles tracks by Coil Sprite, Xiaolin (ft. Eli), Kaishandao, Heiyuen, Cocoonics, COLA REN, and Fishdoll, spanning a spectrum from ambient and bass to IDM and techno.

At the heart of the selection is an explicit focus on female creative voices within the local scene; the curation thus deliberately foregrounds regional perspectives and technical idiosyncrasies. Sonically, the tracks work with finely wrought sound architecture, textural layers, and pinpoint rhythmic cuts, placing traditional motifs and contemporary electronics in a novel relationship. Vocals and sampled fragments occasionally enter as additional compositional elements, dissolving familiar formulas in favor of an open, finely grained gesturality of sound.

"Nu-S3rvo Volume 2" reads as a precise cross-section of current East Asian electronic music production: the compilation documents not only the stylistic range between ambient textures and danceable bass, but also the label’s curatorial intent to foster a decentralized, distinctive sonic language. The release connects directly to the programmatic orientation of the first volume and extends its explorations toward a stronger, more polyphonic presence of local producers.

The LP *Environmental Architecture* by Lemon Sol, announced on Cosmic Soup, brings together the recordings originally released in 1994 in a cohesive album sequence and unites eleven tracks, including “Sunflash,” “Natural Ratio,” and the title track “Environmental Architecture.” The release appears on the label under catalog number COS010 and is aimed at listeners seeking an intersection of ethereal ambient aesthetics and precise dance rhythms.

Musically, *Environmental Architecture* moves between ambient, IDM, and techno: expansive, modular soundscapes meet organic-sounding percussion and detailed synthesis arrangements. Lemon Sol is characterized by a balance between texture-focused soundscapes and clearly structured, often melodic motifs, allowing the tracks to work both for focused listening and in a club context. Genre classifications and early release notes confirm this stylistic profile.

Behind the project are the compositions of Mark Cheney and Michael Sershall, whose writing decisively shapes the sound and employs recurring thematic elements in individual tracks. The pieces on the record are documented across several digital archives and music services, underscoring the importance of the material for the early IDM and ambient scene. For collectors and newcomers alike, the LP released on Cosmic Soup offers a documentary perspective on this chapter of electronic music.

The "Heat / 99 Red Balloons" 12" by DJ Lewi was released on Kemet and brings together three tracks: two mixes of "Heat" and a version of "99 Red Balloons." The record is available as a physical 12" pressing and is additionally offered digitally through the label; the way the release is titled makes its clear focus on danceable club formats and DJ use apparent.

Musically, the release sits in the realm of jungle and drum & bass, characterized by fast breaks, heavy basslines, and fragmentary vocal work. The A-side features two mixes that weave classic breakbeat structures together with ragga-inspired vocal samples, while the B-side transfers the melody of "99 Red Balloons" into an accelerated, dark D&B framework. Notes on the samples used and on the original version underline its closeness to early ’90s productions.

With this release, Kemet appears as a custodian and mediator of the UK jungle tradition; the label, originally active in the ’90s, has in recent years pushed forward reissues and new digital releases. The "Heat / 99 Red Balloons" 12" showcases DJ Lewis’s preference for dense rhythms, sharp break edits, and a remix aesthetic geared toward DJ sets and club rotation.

The "Vision Mission" 12" by Raxon was released on Lone Romantic and is a compact two-track release that marks the label debut of the Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based producer. The two tracks signal a clear shift toward breakbeat rhythms without neglecting the artist’s roots in the club context.

The title track, "Vision Mission," is built on a deep, deliberately worked groove foundation: muted, jagged breaks and a two-step swing give the piece a UK-inflected rhythmic feel, while a distorted-sounding bassline and a peculiarly coiled vocal fragment serve as its leitmotif. The integration of gated drum elements makes the track both DJ-friendly and distinctive.

The B-side, "Wrong Song," shifts the focus further toward modern drum-and-bass territory; an undulating, relentlessly driving low-end line together with mechanical stabs and a hinted, rough midrange structure generates an almost industrial energy. Raxon, who has been active as a DJ for more than two decades and has previously released on established labels such as Kompakt, Ellum, Cocoon, and Turbo, fuses his club practice with a new interest in broken beats and forceful bass landscapes on this 12".

The "Martian Princess Arrives" 12" by Mailu is released on Sofa Tunes and carries the catalog number SOFA019. The record brings together ten tracks that explore the album format in compact form and lend Mailu’s releases a tangible physical presence. The material moves between funk, jazz, and electronic breaks, translating the originally digital and live recordings precisely into the analog medium.

Mailu, whose real name is Igor Gil, steps to the fore here primarily as a keyboard player: references to Clavinet and Rhodes as well as slap-bass elements shape many arrangements and give the sound an organic, groove-oriented foundation. The compositions combine warm keyboard pads with rhythmic ideas; tempo changes and striking basslines structure the tracks, while the melodies often recall lounge and funk aesthetics.

What stands out is the record’s dramaturgical design: the ten tracks sometimes end abruptly, which reinforces the impression of live snapshots and underscores the closeness to Mailu’s stage presence. The artwork is by Elena Vera; the track "Que Asco" has been announced as a single and marks one of the release’s more focused moments. Overall, "Martian Princess Arrives" offers a stylistically cohesive picture of Mailu’s electronically inflected funk approach.

The "Lasca EP" 12" by TwuSheps is released on Naturaleza Mecánica and marks the beginning of the label series under catalog number NME001. The release continues the label’s core concept of juxtaposing organic and synthetic sound worlds and translates this approach onto vinyl as a focused statement.

The work unites five compositional fragments that stage a dialogue between the primitive and the technological; rough textures, mechanical pulses, and dense atmospheres shape the arrangements and create a tense, probing sense of motion. The record features the tracks "Ardiroide," "Lana De Roca," "Paraje," "Atrapado," as well as a contribution by MMS with "Cheap Flattery," with the pieces functioning as autonomous modules that together form a cohesive sonic image. Musically, the EP moves at the intersection of experimental electronics, breaks, and sonic densification.

TwuSheps is responsible for composition, production, and mix; mastering was handled by Carlos Koschitzky (Koschitzky Studio, Gijón). The vinyl was cut and pressed at PressPlay in Urdúliz (Bizkaia), the artwork is by Kike Reaktiff, and illustration and photography are by Txema Belasko. The 180-gram edition was produced as a limited run and comes in a color-printed sleeve, with the physical presentation underscoring the organic-mechanical character of the music.

With the 12" *Fasto EP* released on Ozelot, Prioleau presents the next level of his creativity while, on the whole, remaining true to his style. Since his contributions to the Ozelot series, Prioleau has been moving between powerful club music and experimental electronics; his tracks combine deep sub-bass with precisely placed percussion patterns and a preference for stripped-down, almost sketch-like melodic fragments. In his productions, massive low-end structures meet pinpoint synth arrangements, creating a field of tension between dancefloor functionality and introspective sound exploration. Style-wise, the spectrum ranges from a left-field techno approach through electro-inflected textures to ambient undertones, something already evident in his contributions to the Ozelot compilations. *Fasto EP* continues this signature and sharpens the focus on the project’s sonic idiosyncrasies: economical sound design, carefully sculpted space in the mix, and a keen sense for dramatic arcs of tension. On the production side, Prioleau continues to demonstrate his ability to translate raw energy into precise arrangements without smoothing out the organic roughness of the sounds; as a result, the tracks are suited to both club sets and focused listening. Overall, the release cements Prioleau’s place within the realm of contemporary, bass-oriented electronic music.

The "Spirits EP" by Hapro, Neuronal Grip, and Tom Nox is released on Triple Phase as a 12" and brings together contributions from three producers operating within the electronic spectrum. The selection focuses on driving, rhythmically accented arrangements with a pronounced breakbeat influence; short, concise tracks alternate with longer, more atmospheric moments. The production remains clearly centered on drum hits and dynamic groove developments without sacrificing textural layers.

Hapro, Neuronal Grip, and Tom Nox are key figures in a more experimentally inclined breaks/breakbeat scene and have already collaborated with Triple Phase, with the label’s releases highlighting the different approaches of the three producers. Hapro tends to contribute driving, melody-supported tracks, Neuronal Grip emphasizes more complex rhythmic structures, and Tom Nox delivers dense, percussive constructions. This range shapes the profile of the release and makes the EP appealing to both listeners and DJs.

As a physical 12" release, the "Spirits EP" is designed for immediate playability in day-to-day club use while simultaneously documenting a segment of the recent work of the artists involved on the Triple Phase label. As such, the record serves as a bridge between dance-oriented functionality and a documentary interest in contemporary breakbeat productions.

Digi Dub re-enter the vinyl world with a handful of archival 10” releases, the first collating tracks harvested from four releases which originally came out in the early 90s.

The Aliens EP provides a perfect showcase of the adventurous and experimental approach that the label took at a time when breakbeat hardcore was starting to fragment. Taking none of the paths that their peers took, the artists in the Digi Dub stable infused their breakbeat science with a playful dubwise methodology to create idiosyncratic dance music operating at the interstice between modern dub mechanics and rave dynamics that was a premonition of much of the experimental bass music that the UK has become known for.

The first track comes from the trio L.S. Diezel whose Alien In The Woods marries cosmic interference with a steppers reinforced breakbeat and a tough digital bassline. The Diezel boys are joined by label owner Lee Berwick under his Launch DAT pseudonym for the second track Rougher Than A Lion. Beginning with what sounds like a sort of distorted tribal ritual, the track erupts into a symphony of skittering breakbeats, processed jazz lines, bursts of acid and discombobulated ragga chat.

On the second side the collaboration between Diezel and DAT continues with Poor Mans Glory that sees a weighty sped-up funk break allied with a suitably robust dub bassline overlaid with bursts of rasta invocation rattling around in the echo chamber. L.S. Diezel’s Get Your Spear Out rounds out the package with a clangorous proto-dubstep breaker forging the link between a Jah Shaka dance and Horsepower Productions.

With the original 12s now rare as rocking horse shit, grab yourself a 10” and make your bass bins smile.

The “Terrenal EP” by ALLD33333 is being released as a 12-inch on Luzerna and offers a focused exploration of the connection between the physical and the emotional. The tracks move between contemplative moments and more direct sections geared toward the dance floor, while a steady groove at the musical core holds everything together. With this EP, Luzerna presents an initial statement that sharply defines the artistic voice of ALLD33333.

The record brings together five cuts — “Prueba,” “Instrucciones,” “Desaprendiendo,” “Uno,” and a remix of “Verano” by Ishin Denshin that adds further dimensions to the release. The arrangements draw on warm low-end, rhythmic patterns, and a balance of club-ready passages and introspective sections. This is where ALLD33333’s defining trait comes into focus: an immediate, organic production approach that ties rhythm and emotion together.

The artwork is shaped by the visual contribution of Manuel Cetina (El_Stitch), who gives the record a distinctive visual language. The production follows an intuitive working method that leaves room for nuance while maintaining a clear structure, resulting in an EP that resonates both in the club and in private listening, making the artist’s personal background — rooted in Patagonia, shaped in Buenos Aires — distinctly audible.

The Parade imprint returns for its seventh outing, keeping the mystery alive with a four-track heater from a nameless contributor. The Neo Piano EP is a masterclass in dancefloor nostalgia, expertly blending the euphoria of the early 90s with modern, punchy production.

On the A-side, "Everyday" sets the tone with soaring chords and a breakbeat foundation that feels both fresh and familiar. It’s followed by "Angelite," a shimmering roller that leans into the lighter side of rave, balancing celestial pads with a driving rhythm section.

Flip the wax for "Somebody 2 Love," a high-energy edit that reconstructs a classic vocal into a peak-time breaks anthem. Closing out the record is "Da sweetest Ting," a bass-heavy, old-school leaning cut that lives up to its name with infectious hooks and a soulful finish.

Pure dancefloor functionalism with a sentimental heart—strictly for the heads.

A closing chapter for Iro Aka: ambient introspection and precise IDM meet in a deeply personal, memory-driven LP. Barcelona-based duo Iro Aka present "Memories Exploration" (glossy025), a record that marks the closing of a creative chapter. Set for release on May 29th via Glossy Mistakes, the LP unfolds as a personal archive-tracing ideas, influences, and emotional states shaped over time. The A-side moves through ambient-leaning territories, building meditative landscapes where time seems to dissolve and blur. Through tracks like "Frozen Sun" and "Golden Sea", the duo showcase a refined approach to sound design, shaped by carefully distilled emotion. Meanwhile, "Gendo" and "Intervertert" lean further inward-sketching moments of deep introspection through soft textures and a minimalist sensitivity that invites contemplation. On the B-side, the record shifts. Rhythmic structures come into focus, drawing from IDM and broken beat patterns with a precise, understated touch. "L", "Ozadene" and "Phased9" introduce movement while maintaining the album's introspective core. Closing track "We Felt in Love with a Loop" brings the album to a gentle, open-ended close. The artwork by Jack Anderson reflects this sense of fragmented memory and process, complementing the album's emotional tone. Rather than a definitive ending, "Memories Exploration" feels like a transition-an understated way of closing one chapter before the next begins. "An autumn evening - without a single tear, things come to an end."
