The “Drukqs” LP by Aphex Twin is released on Warp and marks the 25th anniversary of the 2001 album; this reissue presents “Drukqs” for the first time in a standard vinyl format, making all Aphex Twin albums available on vinyl again. The edition compiles well-known tracks such as “Avril 14th” and “QKThr,” offering both the familiar piano moments and complex, rhythmically intricate tracks within a cohesive vinyl concept that appeals equally to collectors and new listeners. It comes in a gatefold sleeve with lined inner sleeves.

Musically, the release showcases the breadth of the original: quiet, piano-centered compositions stand alongside meticulously programmed, often unusually constructed pieces. Some passages were created using a Disklavier and prepared-piano techniques, which explains the acoustic character of the piano numbers while also contrasting with the electronic processing of the drum patterns. This Warp reissue thus offers the opportunity to experience “Drukqs” anew as a coherent album that unites historic moments of electronic avant-garde with precise craftsmanship.

The “Be Yourself” 12" by Pancratio, released on Faith Beat, presents four compact club tracks that carry the artist’s sound forward in a focused way. The EP includes the tracks “Be Yourself,” “Take Me To The Music,” “Catch Me,” and “It’s Time,” forming a concise addition to Pancratio’s previous album “Automatic House” on the same label. With this 12", Faith Beat issues a compact, clearly structured single that expands the label’s catalog with another dancefloor-oriented release.

Musically, Pancratio relies on driving, hypnotic house arrangements in his familiar signature style: the title track opens with a purposeful groove, while “Take Me To The Music” carries the pulsing flow across the A-side. On the B-side, “Catch Me” and “It’s Time” provide a coherent continuation of the hypnotic pulse, dominated by rhythmic precision and a deeply rooted feel for flow and tension. The production remains clear and direct; Pancratio works with stripped-back elements that unfold their impact on the dancefloor. For fans of his previous work, the “Be Yourself” EP on Faith Beat is a clear, concentrated expression of his current club aesthetic and adds four considered tracks to the label’s program that are effective both in DJ sets and when played on loop.

The “No. 9997” 12-inch by STABLO was released in 2011 and presents two concise, untitled tracks that were issued exclusively on vinyl. The release was announced as a strictly limited pressing and came without a digital release; upon its initial distribution, customers were limited to a maximum of one copy each. A Japan-exclusive limited-edition repress followed later, making the record available again in a tightly restricted quantity.

Musically, “No. 9997” operates within the realm of Dub Techno, relying on spacious, echo-drenched textures and pared-down, loop-based rhythms arranged in dense layers. The two sides keep the material short and focused, with tempos of approximately 122 and 124 BPM, respectively, and use bass and delay elements sparingly to give the tracks their weighty subtlety. The release underscores the STABLO label’s stripped-back aesthetic, geared toward DJ use and vinyl playability, and fits into its catalog of concise, club-ready Dub Techno 12-inch releases. For fans of dark, forward-driving studio sketches, the “No. 9997” 12-inch remains a concise addition to the STABLO catalog.

After the acclaimed Bar Mediterraneo, Massimo Di Lena and Lucio Aquilina return with People Of The Moon, expanding their sound into a space of creative freedom. The “People of the Moon” are not fictional, but a dimension within us all: a deeply personal yet universal force, an alternative mindset that emerges when freed from social constraints.

Under moonlight, the album explores anxieties and aspirations through groove and rhythm, expressed in Neapolitan, Arabic, English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It moves fluidly from Afro-Cuban influences in “Celavì” to Anatolian textures in “Ma Tu Che Bbuò”, blending highlife guitars with Nu Genea’s signature mandolins-new rhythms filtered through an Italian lens.

The first single “Sciallà” (2025) introduced this direction: dance as catharsis, not escape. The title track reflects a quiet resilience-persistent rather than triumphant. “Onenon”, featuring Tom Misch, channels Mediterranean brit-funk, while “Acelera”, with María José Llergo, evokes a flamenco-tinged pursuit of the unattainable.

“Puleza” recalls Nuova Napoli with driving energy and vintage synths, while “Shway Shway”, sung by Celinatique, captures the album’s orbital flow-measured, rich, and rhythmically complex, echoing afrobeat explorations with Tony Allen.

Melody remains central, as in “Carè”. Across ten tracks, falling, flying, and dancing merge in a suspended groove. Gabriel Prado’s “Ondas Do Mar” embodies this pull: a cyclical motion, like the tides—irresistible, transformative, and alive within us.

Limited edition of 500 copies on red/clear marbled vinyl, available exclusively from HHV for the German market.

The LP "Distance In Static HHV Exclusive Clear / Red Vinyl Edition," released on Ninja Tune, brings together the compositional work of an artist who has been one of the defining voices in electronic music for more than 25 years. It marks both a conclusion and the beginning of a new chapter in a body of work that includes two Top 10 albums, numerous gold and silver certifications for singles, nearly one million records sold worldwide, and billions of streams; collaborations with artists such as Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, along with recurring BRIT and GRAMMY nominations, further underscore this range.

Musically, the record combines familiar elements of warm, organic textures with a clear inclination toward precise electronic production: dense percussion, layered string and horn arrangements, and subtle melodic motifs create an atmospheric space that accommodates both intimate moments and danceable passages in equal measure. Particularly striking is the visual realignment, developed together with designer Trevor Jackson and using microphotographs by John I. Koivula as its aesthetic starting point; the accompanying live show, created in collaboration with Pierre Claude, extends the concept into a performance with carefully considered spatial design.

First-ever release on vinyl and cassette * First time reissued on CD * Produced in full cooperation with Hiroshi Yoshimura's estate * Remastered from original sources by John Baldwin * English translations of original 1996 release liner notes * Reproductions of Yoshimura's handwritten recording notes * Vinyl includes 5" x 7" postcard print * Vinyl pressed at Optimal * HHV Exclusive Variant pressed on Sunrise (Yellow) wax "My encounter with the Hoh Rain Forest, located inside Olympic National Park across the water from Seattle, felt like seeing a whole new world for the first time in my life. Long green fronds draped along the branches, like a scene in which fairies could be heard whispering to one another. But when you try to listen, no sound can be heard. Amidst the mysterious silence, in which no birds or insects make a sound, every living thing seemed to have stopped in its place, only to start dancing when some kind of spell is cast over them." - Hiroshi Yoshimura Originally issued on compact disc in 1996, Quiet Forest was Hiroshi Yoshimura’s last album-length work to be released before his passing in 2003. Largely inspired by his trip to the vast forests of the North American Pacific Northwest, the album is an aural reflection of the fantastical, surreal beauty he experienced as he walked through the otherworldly wilderness for the first time. The basic tracks were recorded in the fall of 1993. After numerous revisions to the song titles and a scrapped idea to overlay the tracks with nature field recordings, Hiroshi ultimately produced a latter-day masterwork that feels like the spiritual follow-up to Green, one of his defining works from a decade earlier.

The "Pacha Ibiza Classics" triple LP by various artists is released on Blanco Y Negro and gathers a selection of club classics that helped shape the sound of the legendary club. The compilation ranges from vocal house anthems to driving club remixes and brings selected original 12" versions and iconic mixes to the vinyl format.

The track selection includes both later chart hits and remixes deeply rooted in club history — examples include versions by Jamiroquai, Moloko, Robin S. and Energy 52 that were heard on countless nights at Pacha. Characteristic of the compilation are long club edits, striking vocal hooks and mixes by renowned remixers such as David Morales or Boris Dlugosch, which capture the epic groove of the sets.

The record is aimed at listeners looking for a documentary-style collection of classic club moments and those who want to relive the Pacha sound in a compact form. Sonically, the selection combines warm, DJ‑ready masters with clear arrangements, so many tracks work both on their own and as part of continuous DJ sequences that trace the progression of a club night.

The “EP” 12" by Shonky appears on Customs & Faces and brings two tracks to vinyl that put production and DJ use squarely in the foreground. The A-side features “centrosociale‑homesignal,” while the B-side carries “speak&spell‑on the koon.” The material was produced and mixed by Shonky; mastering and lacquer cutting were handled by M. Pellegrino at Analogcut, and the pressing is distributed via One Eye Witness.

Shonky is firmly rooted in the electronic music scene as a producer and DJ, with a signature that blends house and electro elements with melodic, dancefloor-oriented arrangements. His background spans both club sets and studio work, and for years he has been regarded as an integral part of the contemporary house scene. This stylistic positioning is reflected in the clear structures and groove-focused sequences found on this EP.

The 12" is clearly geared toward use in a DJ context: distinctive bass foundations, arranged pads, and precise sound details create space for seamless transitions. The choice of analog lacquer cutting underscores the focus on warmth and presence in the midrange, while the compact track formats provide clear, practice-oriented tools for sets. With releases like this, Customs & Faces continues to refine its sharp profile as a platform for immediately usable dance records.

The “Final Circle” LP by Skee Mask and North Americans is released on City Slang and brings together two unusual sonic worlds: Bryan Müller, known as Skee Mask, meets guitarist Patrick McDermott and his ambient country-folk project North Americans. On City Slang, the duo documents a collaboration that feels surprisingly cohesive on first listen, combining electronic precision with expansive, meditative drones. Skee Mask’s experience with hazy, atmospheric techno as well as breakbeat, dub, and jungle elements—a path he has followed from “Compro” (2018) through “Resort” (2024)—meets the slow, unfolding textures of North Americans.

Musically, “Final Circle” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house; rhythmic details and layered time signatures are interwoven with stretched-out guitar washes and ambient arcs of tension. The production emphasizes subtle dynamics and structural calm without foregoing distinctive electronic impulses. The “Final Circle” LP on City Slang is thus a deliberately composed meeting of two distinct musical voices, combining electronic sophistication and acoustic tranquility into a singular sonic form.

Released on High Fashion Music, the "Shinjuku" 12" by Franky Rizardo puts uncompromising focus on club functionality: a direct, to‑the‑point track built around a driving groove and a distinctive low‑end foundation. The A‑side follows a clear, impact‑driven structure designed for peak‑time moments while retaining Rizardo’s characteristic groove‑focused approach.

Even before its official release, "Shinjuku" built enormous momentum and had already generated hundreds of millions of impressions in social clips; on TikTok alone, the track amassed more than 71.1 million views from recordings of his sets. The track has been tested worldwide — including in sets at Space Miami, Reframe Los Angeles, as well as Rizardo’s "More To Life" shows at the Ziggo Dome and at Coachella — and quickly became a fixed moment in his performances.

As a 12", a B‑side titled "Baile De Fantome" rounds out the release and offers DJs a complementary mood for their sets. Together, the two tracks showcase Franky Rizardo’s feel for catchy club formats: precisely arranged breaks, a pronounced bass presence, and a centered sense of groove that further cements his position in the international house and tech house environment.

The "Withness" LP by ANOTR is released on No Art and brings the Amsterdam duo back to the forefront with a clear focus on club play. The third studio album emerged during an extensive world tour: the tracks were written on the road, tested live, and repeatedly refined for dancefloors around the globe.

Musically, "Withness" builds on a blend of warm 80s textures, classic drum-machine patterns, and multi-layered vocals that are molded into compact, song-oriented club tracks in contemporary productions. For the material, ANOTR draw both on their early club roots and on narrative song structures, so each track works as a DJ tool as well as a self-contained piece. The LP includes numerous collaborations, among others with 3DDY, PAMÉ, 54 Ultra, Wayne Snow, TEED, and Benny Sings, whose contributions expand the sound with different voices and rhythms.

The lead single "Talk To You" feat. 54 Ultra holds particular significance: it evolved into the global breakout dance track of the year, already amassing over 125 million Spotify streams and earning chart placements in the United Kingdom. With "Withness," No Art condenses live energy and a keen sense for danceable arrangements into a cohesive album that vividly documents ANOTR's development within house and deep house.

The “Late Loop” LP by Andy Stott is released on Modern Love and marks the producer’s return after a five-year break from the studio. The album brings Alison Skidmore, Stott’s long-time vocal partner, and for the first time Elaine Howley to the forefront; their voices are used partly as full vocal performances and partly as fragmented, pitch-shifted loops, forming the emotional center of the record. Stott largely avoided established production tricks: no basslines, no reverb, just a delay as the sole effect, giving the arrangements an unusual clarity and fragility.

“Late Loop” sits somewhere between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, and emerged from an experimental process that ranged from drone passages and brass-like concrète moments to song-oriented structures. Rhythm often emerges indirectly here: a drum machine was played back into the room, re-recorded, and pitched down; a pump organ was recorded with a microphone placed on the floor; valves and an aging mixing console audibly contribute to the atmosphere. Lyrically, themes of separation predominate; the voices were layered multiple times, then pared back until only the essentials remained. Mastering was handled by Rashad Becker, and the cover photo is by Myriam Boulos. With “Late Loop,” Modern Love presents an austere, meticulously crafted album whose details gradually reveal themselves with repeated listening.

The "12 Conversations" LP by Ryuichi Sakamoto & Alva Noto is released on Noton. This double LP is pressed on two 12" records on black vinyl and comes in a tip-on sleeve with special coating; playback speed is 33⅓ rpm. The edition is available worldwide, except for Japan and Korea.

The album continues the duo’s long-standing artistic connection, which began in 2002 with "Vrioon" and extended through the V.I.R.U.S. series as well as projects such as "Glass" and live documents into the more recent past. Stylistically, the record links Sakamoto’s matured piano sound and melodic subtlety with Alva Noto’s precise electronic shaping; the compositions work with subtle dynamic gradations, extended fields of sustain, and occasional digital interventions that create an atmosphere that is both cinematic and meditative.

"12 Conversations" brings together twelve musical encounters, recorded in November and December 2022, that are closely linked to Sakamoto’s solo project "12"; the coherence of the material only made an independent release possible after those recordings were completed. The artwork is by Carsten Nicolai and Nibo, mastering was handled by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering in Berlin, and "Conversation 7" features the voice of Emma Maeda. The pieces range from wide‑ranging, contemplative dialogues to short, concentrated miniatures and document the duo’s ongoing interest in experimentation.

"Thursday, 2am - Ron Trent Remixes" by Satoshi Tomiie is a tightly focused remix release on Abstract Architecture, aimed at DJs as well as fans of refined house sounds. The 12" brings together three versions of the track: the extended Ron Trent remix, a tool edit version created by Satoshi Tomiie, and a dub version, giving the release both club playability and atmospheric moments for your own soundtrack.

Since the early days of the house scene, Satoshi Tomiie has been known for meticulously crafted productions with a warm, melodic core; his career includes collaborations with pioneers such as Frankie Knuckles and a steady output on his Abstract Architecture label. The versions collected here show how Ron Trent, through organic groove work and finely detailed percussion structures, turns the track into a longer dance journey, while Tomiie’s tool edit, conceived as a DJ-oriented arrangement, brings the mix into sharp focus.

Musically, the release moves within the deep house and house spectrum, with an emphasis on wide harmonic arcs, subtle synth melodies, and a distinctly groovy low-end foundation that leaves room for shifting layers. For collectors and working DJs, this 12" offers a documented glimpse of two seasoned players in the house realm and highlights the craftsmanship evident in both the remix and the edit version.

“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

The “Canny Records 001” 12" by Swin is released on Canny and brings together four deep, dub‑influenced house tracks: “You & Me,” “The Move,” “The Deep End,” and “Postcards.” The release also serves as the opening signal for the new label and comes from the label owner himself, who sets the stylistic direction with this selection.

Musically, the record looks for a balance between warm low‑end bass and expansive FX textures; stripped‑down percussion and sparse arrangements create space for echo and delay gestures that clearly highlight the dub influence. The compositions favor subtle grooves and slow tension arcs over showy peaks, so each side of the 12" unfolds its own atmosphere and works just as well as a DJ tool as it does as a focused listening dose.

As Canny’s first statement, “Canny Records 001” documents Swin’s signature and places a clear emphasis on deep, dub‑leaning house sound. The brevity of the tracks and the tight arrangements underline the deliberate production intent: a small, coherent chapter in the continuum of modern deep‑house productions that at the same time hints at the label’s future course.

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” triple LP by Edward is released on Running Back in a gatefold jacket. Gilles Aiken, better known as Edward and active as a resident at Giegling, opens up an archive of his own edits that has grown over the course of many years. The thirteen edits were originally created for DJ sets and have only now been officially compiled for Running Back’s Mastermix series.

Edward does not treat the source tracks as material that fundamentally needs to be improved. His interventions extend passages, shift entries, bring rhythms to the forefront, or alter the emphasis of individual elements. The result is a musical autobiography told through records by other artists. The artists whose tracks he reworked include Carl Craig, Motohiko Hamase, Kirk Degiorgio, Aubrey, Sven Väth, and Michael Rother. With “Twilight (Edward’s Drum Version),” “Opaque (Edward’s Edit),” and “L’Esperanza (Edward’s Spirit Edit),” the selection ranges from Detroit techno and dub techno to Japanese ambient jazz and house, as well as trance and cosmic music.

The “Running Back Mastermix: Edward – Edits” 3LP thus documents Edward’s longstanding connection to the music that has shaped him as a producer and DJ. All tracks were edited and remixed by Edward, Lopazz handled the mastering at Mixmastering.de, and the vinyl was cut at Schallplatten Schneid Technik. Running Back is also releasing the collection on cassette and in digital formats.

The “Krux” LP by Vril is released on Delsin and marks a deliberate change of direction: on this 13-track album, Vril expands his familiar, dub-driven sonic foundation into a densely layered electronic sound and, for the first time, brings several close collaborations to the forefront. Five tracks were created together with Aurora Halal, Verraco, René Wise, AZARI, and ATEQ, causing the album’s structure to oscillate between atmospheric, rhythmically offset moments and sharply defined, driving arrangements; the advance track “Signum Ex Auro” serves as an example that sketches out this balance. Vril’s compositional fingerprint remains central throughout: subtle delay architectures, deep bass spaces, and modular textures that merge generations of analog and digital sounds.

Beyond its musical direction, “Krux” also puts a strong emphasis on its presentation: the artwork once again comes from Daniel Martin Diaz, the layout is handled by Erris Huigens, and the lacquer cut was done by Andreas Kauffelt; the release is distributed via Clone Distribution. For vinyl buyers there is a standard 2xLP edition as well as a limited version, with the exact vinyl configuration—and the note that the track “Rack Rash” is not included on the record—remaining part of the physical package. With its combination of collaborative tracks, artful visual language, and Vril’s clear production signature, “Krux” positions itself on Delsin as a distinctive electronic statement LP.

The “Breath” 12-inch released by XL brings together the original recording, an instrumental version, and two acclaimed remixes for its 30th anniversary: The Glitch Mob contributes a focused rendition, while Mefjus & Camo & Krooked deliver a drum-and-bass-driven version. All of the remixes listed here are appearing on vinyl for the first time, giving the 12-inch tangible added value for both collectors and listeners tracing the band’s electronic history. The track selection focuses compactly on variations of the title while preserving the original’s raw energy.

“Breath” was the second single from “The Fat of the Land,” following the commercial breakthrough sparked by “Firestarter.” The single reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom and helped drive the album’s worldwide success. “The Fat of the Land” sold more than ten million copies and remains a defining chapter in the electronic music scene of the 1990s. Three decades after the original release, The Prodigy remains an impressive live act: in 2026, the band hosted the Warriors Dance open-air events and is scheduled to perform across Europe in the coming months, including festival appearances at Creamfields and Rock am Ring/Rock im Park.

The "Beyond The Veil" 12" by Altinbas, released on Ostgut Ton, brings together five carefully crafted tracks that can be understood as an expedition through otherworldly sonic spaces. Altinbas, who has been performing at Berghain on a regular basis since his debut, deepens his work on detailed ambience on this release, combining propulsive rhythms with blossoming synth motifs. The title track serves as a guiding thread through the set, establishing the premise of a conceptual dialog between artist and space.

Musically, "Beyond The Veil" moves between a reduced, tonally refined techno aesthetic and minimal, house-leaning moments, featuring airy textures, hypnotic lead lines, and a tangible inclination toward dubby, atmospheric soundscapes. Tracks like "Charming the Cosmic Snake" work with long arcs of harmonic tension, while the closing "Antichamber" pulls back the rhythmic drive to shape a dreamy, almost meditative final sequence. With solid percussion and organically flowing arrangements, the tracks are designed equally for intense club contexts and focused listening situations. On "Beyond The Veil," Altinbas draws on his proven command of space and dynamics to present a coherent, emotionally charged EP that further consolidates his position as a composer of focused, dance-oriented pieces.

In the fall of 2007, a 26-year-old producer from Cologne named Daso Franke released his 12-inch single on Ghostly’s “Spectral Sound” label. The A-side featured “Meine,” a euphoric, eight-minute rush that thrilled dance floors around the world. Since then, the single has become a true classic. Earlier this year, Resident Advisor named “Meine” one of the best songs of the century so far. In April 2018, Franke passed away after a long battle with cancer. With the support of his family and at the request of fans, we are making the “Meine Idee” EP available again—in memory of Daso’s musical legacy. Resident Advisor continues: “The song is incredibly positive, which explains why it was a favorite at Panorama Bar for years. In the final moments of his life, Daso’s friends played ‘Meine’ over a stereo in the corner of his hospital room. It was the sole option.” Daso possessed a unique gift for graceful melodies, and the “Meine Idee” EP captures a moment when that gift shone brilliantly. His music will live on.

The “At Night” 12-inch by Shakedown is released on Defected and brings together the original version, selected remixes, and the sought-after a cappella version that DJs and producers alike value. The compilation highlights the different facets of the piece and offers both the club-ready main versions and reworks that have proven themselves as tools in DJ sets.

With “At Night,” Shakedown achieves a combination of a hypnotic vocal hook and a subtly propulsive groove that has kept the song in record bags for years. Terra Deva’s voice forms the melodic core and gives the track a timeless quality; the production is designed so that it works equally well in a festival peak-time set and in a late-night club setting.

The selection of remixes underlines the stylistic range: Purple Disco Machine gives the track a funky disco-house sheen, Peggy Gou delivers biting 303 lines with her “Acid Journey” take, and Kid Crème’s club mix focuses on direct dancefloor impact and DJ-friendliness. This reissue makes it easier to play the different DJ takes side by side and shows why “At Night” remains relevant as a modern house classic.

Recut & Represed!

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.

Bee.G’s (O.Bee and Cem G) “Makes Me Feel” 12-inch, released on SWEEP, marks the second release from Dyed Soundorom’s newly founded label and brings a piece of the long-standing collaboration between New York and Istanbul to the dance floor. On this release, O.Bee and Cem G connect influences from Istanbul’s local music culture with experiences from ReSolute warehouse parties in Brooklyn and sets at Club der Visionaere in Berlin. The result sits confidently between techno, minimal and tech house, fitting seamlessly into Sweep’s curatorial profile.

On Side A, the original mix of “Makes Me Feel” establishes a steady groove from the very beginning, gaining depth through layered percussion and dense pads. A recurring vocal clip builds tension until, around the midpoint, the voice breaks into a fragmented stream of scattered words over the rolling bass, culminating in a call-and-response of fading voices—a hypnotic passage that positions the track as a pure underground groove. The flip side features Edward (Giegling) with a remix that takes the material in a darker, more angular direction: He extracts the “Make me feel” motif and recasts it as a recurring element, adding layer after layer to heighten the original’s dynamics and atmospheric nuance. This 12-inch is clearly tailored for dance-floor use while also serving as a statement of the production partnership between O.Bee and Cem G.

The “A.S.O.” LP by A.S.O. is set for a 2026 vinyl repress on Efficient Space, bringing the duo’s debut back into focus in a new edition. Efficient Space is responsible for the reissue of the eleven tracks, which move between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, pairing Lewie Day’s production aesthetic with the distinctive voice of Alia Seror‑O’Neill.

Across eleven tracks, including “Go On,” “My Baby’s Got It Out For Me,” “Rain Down,” and “Love In The Darkness,” the album unfolds a range that runs from trip‑hop‑leaning torch songs to ethereal dream pop and dub‑inspired textures. The songs were written by Alia Seror‑O’Neill and Lewie Day and recorded between Quintagon Studios in Berlin and Palmerston Studios in Melbourne/Naarm; Lewie Day handled most of the mixing, Track 9 was mixed by Thomas McAlister, and the mastering comes from Mikey Young. Dylan Batelic created the artwork, with additional text by Piers Harrison.

The “A.S.O.” LP on Efficient Space showcases a cohesive, texture‑rich production in which song‑oriented structures and atmospheric details complement each other. This repress brings the characteristic blend of elegiac melodicism and subtle electronic menace back to vinyl once more.

The Bubbles 12" by Ferg, released on The Naked Dance, comprises four tracks that sit somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house. Two of the cuts operate as high-energy dub-tech-house numbers, complemented by a lighthearted deep house track; the title composition "Bubbles" serves as a counterpoint and an ode to the deeper, more emotional side of Ferg’s productions, which the artist himself describes as the ones that give him the greatest satisfaction.

Musically, the release combines driving club readiness with deliberately deployed melody and a calmer, introspective dimension. The dub-oriented tracks lean into heightened energy and rhythmic density, the deep house cut brings lightness and a floating feel into the set, while "Bubbles" pushes the emotional nuances to the forefront. With this 12" on The Naked Dance, Ferg presents a compact selection that makes a clear statement both for DJ sets and for moments away from the dance floor, highlighting the breadth of his work between groove-centered arrangements and more sensitive, atmospheric moments.

Selected by Lea Lisa, Many Shades Of House Vol. 2 is a reflection of time, movement and memory. Built from decades of digging, collecting and playing records, this new chapter captures the many emotional layers of house music. From uplifting, groove-led moments to deeper, more obscure and cerebral territories, each track has been chosen not only for its musical strength but also for the stories it carries—nights behind the decks, connections on the dancefloor, and the quiet influence these records have had along the way. True to the spirit of the first volume, this selection celebrates diversity and timelessness without compromise. It is a tribute to the artists’ vision, the culture surrounding house music, and the shared experience that continues to unite listeners, dancers and selectors across generations.

The compilation “Defected Classics Vol. 4” is released on Defected and comes as a triple LP; the set brings together twelve selected tracks from the label’s archive, featuring both vocal club hits and deeper, more underground-oriented mixes. The edition was compiled for vinyl sequencing and DJ use, distributing the selected tracks across three record sides so that each side offers a self-contained listening experience.

The program ranges from Roger Sanchez’s Ibiza hit “Another Chance” and Kings Of Tomorrow’s “Fall For You” (Sandy Rivera’s Classic Mix) to Dennis Ferrer’s remix of Fish Go Deep & Tracey K’s “The Cure & The Cause.” It also includes Blaze presents UDA feat. Barbara Tucker with “Most Precious Love,” Maya Jane Coles’ remix of “4 You,” Osunlade’s “Envision (Yoruba Soul Mix),” Mr. V’s “Jus Dance,” Karizma feat. DJ Spen’s “4 The Love,” and Yousef’s “Beg (Hot Since 82 Future Mix).” The compilation emphasizes concise remix versions and singular club tracks that reflect the range of house and deep house found in the Defected catalog.

The "Aretha's Reign" 12" by Harold Heath is released on Curated By Time and brings together the three tracks originally issued on Sensei in a reissued club format. This new edition shines a light on an early chapter of Heath’s work and makes the record accessible again for both DJs and collectors.

Musically, the release is exemplary of early‑2000s British tech house: precise, loop‑based grooves, clean, cutting drums, and a restrained, effective production style that leaves room for subtle shifts. Harold Heath is characterized by a functional, club‑oriented approach; he wrote and produced the tracks himself, which explains the consistent coherence of the sound aesthetic.

The 12" features the tracks "Aretha's Reign," "Snake Eyes," and "Somebody," each one striking a balanced blend of punch and restraint that stands out on the dance floor for its suitability for DJ sets and ease of mixing. As a reissue on Curated By Time, these early tracks return in a contemporary context and reaffirm Harold Heath’s position within the UK house scene.

The “The Inevitable End” LP by Röyksopp is released on Cooking Vinyl and marks a deliberate closing point in the Norwegian duo’s album history. On their fifth studio album, Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland audibly move into a darker, more lyric-focused space; Röyksopp’s own production combines sparse, downbeat-driven arrangements with clear electronic lines, allowing the vocals to emerge as a central creative element. Cooking Vinyl releases this edition on vinyl; the record features familiar singles such as “Skulls” and the rendition of “Monument” alongside the haunting “Running to the Sea.”

Guests including Susanne Sundfør, Jamie Irrepressible, Robyn, and Ryan James of Man Without Country make a decisive contribution to the mood, adding vocal accents that give the songs an immediate emotional contour. Warm synthesizers, carefully placed bass figures, and restrained percussion come to the fore instrumentally, while the production and arrangements leave room for the lyrics. “The Inevitable End” on Cooking Vinyl is therefore less a collection of earlier hits than a focused, song-oriented work that combines Röyksopp’s inclination toward atmospheric electronic music with an explicit emphasis on songwriting and vocals.

The 12" “You Are In My System (Original Deluxe)”, released on the Kerri Chandler label, puts Kerri Chandler at the center of a new take on a classic piece of source material and brings together two distinctive voices: Mic Murphy and Troy Denari share the vocal versions, while Chandler is responsible for the arrangements. In addition to the title version, the release also offers an instrumental as well as alternative vocal edits that emphasize the multi-layered nature of the material.

Musically, the production links the warm, rolling basslines and lush keyboard pads that are Chandler’s hallmarks with laid-back, swinging percussion that gives the track an organic pulse. Mic Murphy’s performance serves as the emotional anchor and recalls the electro-soul roots of the original; Troy Denari brings an additional, soulful warmth to his version. The combination of classic song structures and modern house textures underscores the characteristic sound of the artist.

From a technical standpoint, the 12" invites DJs and listeners alike to move between vocal and instrumental versions: the extended arrangements allow for more nuanced transitions and provide room for mixes both in club settings and on the radio. Overall, the release documents Kerri Chandler’s ability to carefully rework familiar melodies while allowing the voices of the guest vocalists to come through clearly in the mix.

The unconscious element to the conscious process. The practice of dub techno and its tendrils is a fundamental for me, both aesthetically and from an engineering perspective. I start every recording session with a dub inspired jam, the first piece I ever recorded in 1996 was an effort to recreate Phylyps Trak with only a Korg X3 and an Ibanez Pue5 (borrowed from Gary Howell). It was an awesome introduction to jamming, and the footing stones of noise, delay and saturation were explored with my foot hard on the enthusiasm pedal. These practice jams are in some sense cathartic, the first step taken again & again, which helps me move forwards each session and additionally helps to 'warm the circuits' both of myself and the machines. After realising the genius of Basic Channel is akin to the genius of peasant food, using every ingredient with nothing left to waste, (up to and including the oft maligned working noise of the machines themselves), this was a watershed moment for my own subjective progression. No longer tied to just emulation of something inspiring, but taking these learned tools into other areas of music helped to break free from a strong current of influence and also to progress into other areas with the new toolbox. Dub: The importance of the dub pioneers should never be understated, in modern music and my own practice. Yet with my initial inspiration being two german dudes issuing extreme techno variants with obscured label designs, who then signposted their listeners to their own inspirations (via their Wackies re-issues or nodded to on their Rhythm & Sound/Burial Mix sub-labels), meant that I started late and travelled backwards. Learning to notice the live mixing of Mikey Dread or Lee Perry when the faders are bleeding through even when turned down, (echoed in BC's Quadrant Dub), or the brash send effects literally thrown into the mix also taught me that 'rough' mixing can inject a recording with life, uniqueness and the most right wrongness. Looking back Basic Channels very few elements helped me realise that the rules to be understood, are also the best ones to be broken. Push the mixer into the red. Amp that noise up from the tape delay cos it sounds sick. Pseudo side-chain effects cos the kicks are way too loud and the mixer can't sum it nicely. Spam the send knob into the delay units now, now and now. Carelessness. Noise: Once I wrapped my head around the intrinsic 'noise' element that set those records apart, this became a torchlight into the alt noise movements which I was tentatively exploring at the time, and also is evidently a connection or thread into them. Whether the Industrial/Post Punk UK scene (This Heat, TG, A Tent, F.E.) or the prolific output of the US Noise scene (Wolf Eyes, Live & Shave in LA, and subsequently following the lineage all the way back to Chrome's Alien Soundtracks), I had finally discovered a connection from techno to this 'free for all' corner of music. This input from the Noise arena of sound is, in my experience, an all important step for a sonic artist, taking it's roots and extending out from Stockhausen/Pierre Henry and utilised/warped/mangled by thousands of adventurous pioneers ever since, I now see the line separating the high brow and the low brow is actually an artery carrying information from the head to the heart. Vault is a selection of these jams that precede each of my solo recording sessions, for 30 years I've recorded hundreds of these 'workouts'. They are never intended as serious statements, just moments of naive enjoyment, yet most importantly they are time & space captured as practice. The objective is always a warm up exercise, but sometimes those exercises turn a different corner, with a certain focus or direction dependent on what random samples are left in my machines from the previous session, instead of conscious choices, these unconscious elements can facilitate those 'positive mistakes' that make a piece of sound retain a different feel or colour and thus become special, or at least special to the creator. I am quite conscious that the 'record everything' aspect of my ethos has been invaluable in cataloguing and saving these jams, while the attitude of carelessness during this process (after all, it's only a warm up jam) invites more enjoyment than seriousness ever could. Even if you don't feel the piece at the time, record it, because some years later it may well fit, or become relevant in a way you never intended. -Miles Mastered by Miles, cut by Rashad Becker. Art by Lucas Dupuy.

2026 Repress

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions. Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.

Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.

Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

How could we talk about Kavinsky without evoking the movie that introduced his music to the general public? Dazzling success of the independant film industry of the last decade, "Drive" is the kind of movies in which the soundtrack takes a front seat role. As in his previous realisations, Nicolas Winding Refn took great care, with the help of Cliff Martinez (former drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) to select the tracks that would feature in his latest movie. It's in this way he picked Nightcall for the opening scene, and we soon cannot tell anymore if the music responds to the picture or the contrary.

Kavinsky's long-awaited debut album Outrun features 13 tracks, including 8 previously unreleased and some reworks. From the first notes, we can hear Paul Hahn (manager of Daft Punk) recounting an introduction to the adventures of Kavinsky. Warm and electric, Blizzard makes its entrance and sets the tone before allowing ProtoVision to take its place, which with its nervous and synthetic melody was the first excerpt of Outrun that whas released on an EP. Then arrives Odd Look, the first vocal song of the record, which unveils a mysterious funky voice that can remind the groove of Marvin Gaye or Prince. It's then Rampage‘s turn to take us with its menacing orchestral atmosphere like in Dragon Ball Z ; after what comes the persuasive beat of Suburbia on which notorious Havoc from Mobb Deep lent his voice. The upgraded version of Testarossa Autodrive confirms the efficacity of this unstoppable melody, and it's at this point we find Nightcall again, the famous ballad produced by Guy-Manuel from Daft Punk and featuring Lovefoxxx from CSS. Dead Cruiser arrives then, muscled yet melancholic, followed by Grand Canyon which takes us with its electrical ritournelle. The voice of Tyson, the funk revelation from UK, transformed the instrumental First Blood into a génuine hit. The rythmic and melodious Roadgame leads us to Endless, which gently closes this long-awaited revealing first opus, with as a conclusion a narrated epilogue by Paul Hahn again...

The “Last Light Of The Sun” double LP by nthng is released on Topo2 and marks his debut on the label. Across ten compositions, nthng moves confidently between ambient expanses, IDM‑related melodic lines, dub techno‑inspired spaces, and drum & bass passages tinged with melancholy. Quiet, fragile 4/4 arrangements alternate with dreamlike melodic sections, while sparingly used, vintage‑styled house vocal fragments add targeted accents. As his fifth album, “Last Light Of The Sun” documents nthng’s matured production approach and his penchant for carefully layered soundscapes.

The physical edition on Topo2 comes as a double LP with a gatefold sleeve and a bio‑vinyl pressing; the edition is limited to 500 copies and includes a download code. The tracklist ranges from “I Hear You” through the title track to the closing “Flutter,” on which Temple Rat contributes bamboo flute and Karina Rovira adds typewriting elements. Mastering was handled by Isabel Schröer (OLO Mastering), with artwork provided by Alyssa Warren and Raen Coplin. “Last Light Of The Sun” makes full use of the double LP format to mediate between introspective ambient pieces and understated club rhythms.

With this release, nthng expands his range while simultaneously strengthening Topo2’s profile as a label for carefully curated electronic music. The combination of detail‑oriented production, clear sequencing, and thoughtful formal design makes the Topo2 edition a notable milestone in nthng’s discography.

Jean-Michel Jarre’s “Oxygene” LP is released on BMG and takes listeners back to a landmark work of electronic music. Originally released in 1976, the album marked the French composer’s international breakthrough and laid important foundations for his later career.

Jean-Michel Jarre developed “Oxygene” as a cohesive instrumental journey through surreal-sounding soundscapes. Its six parts combine flowing melodies, atmospheric textures, and rhythmic elements to create music that bridges avant-garde sound exploration and accessible pop aesthetics. This very combination made the work one of the defining albums of its era.

For the production, Jarre worked in his private studio with analog instruments such as the ARP 2600, EMS VCS 3, and Mellotron. Rather than unfolding as a collection of individual songs in the traditional sense, the album develops as a continuous arc of tension, with its six numbered sections interlocking. Among its best-known moments is “Oxygene Part 4,” while “Oxygene Part 1” establishes the distinctive opening with its expansive synthesizer textures.

With “Oxygene,” BMG presents a work that showcases Jean-Michel Jarre’s distinctive sonic language in concentrated form and has had a lasting influence on the development of electronic music. The album remains entirely instrumental, creating its impact through timbre, movement, and carefully constructed transitions.

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene. This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene. "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno" was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium.

On the other side, Kavinsky has produced the fantastic 'Pacific Coast Highway', in which we follow a ghostcar on the highway. The remix job is by French avant-garde producer Jackson. Shinichi Atobe’s “Ongaku 1” 12" on DDS appears here as a 2026 pressing in an edition of 500 copies and has been mastered by Rashad Becker. The release marks Atobe’s third 12" since his 2001 Chain Reaction debut and coincides with the tenth anniversary of his first DDS album, “Butterfly Effect”; additional editing and mixes come from Miles ov Demdike Stare. With it, DDS launches a new series of limited 12-inch releases in which Atobe subtly develops his signature sound while at the same time probing a stronger sub-bass focus.

Musically, the record’s A-side features “Ongaku 1,” a shimmering, classic-leaning deep house cut that combines delicate ornamentation with precisely sculpted kicks. Feathery dub chords and dark string passages create recurring goosebump moments, while fine details open up in the upper registers. The B-side, “Dub 6(six),” unfolds a psychedelic weave of arpeggios and synth voices, given extra depth by a more forceful bass undercarriage before the kicks set the whole thing swinging on a broader scale. Taken as a whole, “Ongaku 1” sees Shinichi Atobe combine his familiar stripped-back framework with new shadings, yielding some of his most immediate and enduring work.

The “Wisdom To The Wise” 12-inch released on Spectrum by Dave Clarke combines a defining track from the early Red series with a new reworking by Joris Voorn. The track formed the centerpiece of “Red 2,” the second installment in Clarke’s three-part series, which significantly expanded his reputation as a techno producer.

“Wisdom To The Wise” was created in Brighton in the early 1990s under basic production conditions. At the time, Dave Clarke worked with an Atari 1040 and a microsampler, whose limited capabilities helped shape the track’s direct, raw character. The track pushes forward with powerful drum patterns, distinctive hi-hats and a dark, tension-filled atmosphere, without relying on overloaded arrangements for its impact.

Joris Voorn approaches the classic with respect for its techno foundation, while adding his own synthesizer textures and a contemporary sonic architecture. A heavy kick, metallic chords, expansive pads and carefully placed percussive disruptions give the remix additional depth. The tension builds gradually, while the groove retains its original toughness and simultaneously takes on a warmer feel.

On the B-side, a 2023 remaster of the original complements this new reworking. In this way, Spectrum brings Dave Clarke’s historic source material together with Joris Voorn’s current studio signature on a 12-inch. “Wisdom To The Wise (Joris Voorn Remix)” thus marks the return of a key work from the Red series in a new sonic setting.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ship-Scope” 12" as released on DDS returns as a 2026 pressing in a limited run of 500 copies, remastered from vinyl by Matt Colton. This edition foregrounds the familiar connection between warm dub techno feeling and stripped-back, minimal production, amounting to a precise, carefully updated reappraisal of the piece.

Originally issued on Chain Reaction in 2001, “Ship-Scope” is characterized by an unusually dreamy tonality that sets it apart from many releases of the time; the DDS version brings this dreamy, almost lost-at-sea atmosphere even more clearly to the fore. Especially striking is the dense sense of space and the slowly building tension that turns tracks like “The Red Line” into defining moments of the release.

With this reissue, DDS continued the curatorial work that brought renewed attention to Shinichi Atobe after his resurfaced album “Butterfly Effect.” The remaster by Matt Colton preserves the organic character of the original recordings without smoothing out their fragile texture, making the “Ship-Scope” 12" on DDS a relevant addition for collectors and admirers of the romantic side of deep and dub techno.

The "Ice Castles Black Vinyl Edition" LP by Larry Heard has been released on Alleviated, bringing this long-sought atmospheric work back as a remastered, expanded double LP. After nearly three decades of being unavailable on vinyl, "Ice Castles" returns in a complete edition that documents all tracks and highlights the tranquil, ambient arrangements of the original. The edition centers the focus on Heard as a producer and innovator of the deep house sound, presented in a soberly designed reissue on black vinyl.

Musically, Larry Heard shows his introspective side here: "Ice Castles" and tracks like "Crystal Fantasy" weave together downtempo and deep house elements with touches of R&B and jazz, making the album less geared toward club use and more toward textural, personal atmospheres. The reissue emphasizes this intersection of warm synth washes, melodic piano and xylophone lines, and muted percussion, continuing the vision Heard had already mapped out in the mid-1990s with "Sceneries Not Songs, Vol. 2." For listeners who appreciate Larry Heard as an architect of deep house aesthetics, the "Ice Castles Black Vinyl Edition" on Alleviated offers a focused and expanded opportunity to rediscover this chapter of his work.

The "Weird Fiction" LP by Al Chem was released on All City / Artyard and originally came out in 2017 on Art Yard; the first pressing comprised 500 numbered copies in a 180‑gram tip-on sleeve. The record collects six tracks recorded between 2000 and 2005, now available again for the first time.

Alexander Christou, known as a member of Berliner Ring and for his work with Elecdrones, presents a solo project on "Weird Fiction" that connects analog and digital sound worlds. The recordings move within the wide field of electronic dub meditations: hazy textures, modulated delay spaces, and subtle, seemingly organic percussion elements set the tone. Rather than following conventional song structures, Christou arranges sounds according to mood and a sense of landscape, clearly reflecting the project’s origins in the milieu of the Berlin electronic scene.

Sonic highlights include the rendition of Ras Michael's "No Hoppers," which couples electronic percussion with Moondog-like rhythms, as well as "Prophet," which pinpoints Christou's relationship to the city with precision. "The Red Tower" fuses reggae groove and house kick into a blurred parallelism, while "Baudelaire" centers on digital delay and "Ladder Of Perfection" rounds off the album as a droning final tableau. Taken as a whole, "Weird Fiction" stands for an idiosyncratic, Northern European–inflected dub aesthetic within contemporary electronic music.

The “Pixel” 12-inch by Intellitronic, released on Rubadub, sheds light on a largely hidden early phase of Heinrich Mueller, who is also behind projects such as Drexciya, Arpanet, and Dopplereffekt. The four tracks date from the early 1990s and combine stripped-down electronic precision with a clear connection to the printing and imaging technology of the era.

The title track, “Pixel,” had previously been available exclusively on the 1993 CD “Magic Tracks (Deep Detroit Volume Two),” compiled by Juan Atkins. “Stencil,” “Inkjet,” and “Hex Colour Code,” on the other hand, had remained unreleased and now appear for the first time alongside the previously known track on Rubadub’s 12-inch. As a result, “Pixel” offers an unusual portrait of Mueller’s work beyond his better-known aliases.

Musically, Intellitronic focuses on rigorously programmed rhythms, dry machine-funk structures, and a cool, functional sonic aesthetic. The track titles draw on terms associated with printing processes, color definition, and digital imaging, while still acknowledging their roots in the early electro tradition. The distinctive character of this release lies precisely in its combination of technical austerity, sparse arrangements, and Detroit-influenced rhythm work. With “Pixel,” Rubadub presents four archival recordings that make Mueller’s early electronic language accessible in compact form.

The "Conform EP" 12" by Havantepe is released on Berg Audio (catalog BERGAMON17, 2026) and presents four new tracks by the Istanbul‑born producer. The release joins the label’s so‑called "Monument" series and features full cover artwork by Juli Jah. As a 12" in the field of dub techno, the record relies on dense, atmospheric arrangements and a reductive dramaturgy that works across multiple layers of echo and space.

On the "Conform EP," Havantepe uses precisely placed textures and extended soundscapes to shape the tracks into slowly swelling progressions; the EP emphasizes subtle modulations and a sparse yet compelling groove dynamic. With this release, Berg Audio adds another entry to its catalog that underscores both the aesthetic continuity of the label and Havantepe’s penchant for hypnotic dub aesthetics. The "Conform EP" remains deliberately compact: four focused tracks, a clear visual line through the artwork, and a production signature that brings out the atmospheric qualities of dub techno.

Another Day on Earth (2005) was Brian Eno’s first song-based album since Nerve Net in 1992, and remains one of his most acclaimed solo records. It featured a young Jon Hopkins alongside long-standing collaborators Nell Catchpole, J. Peter Schwalm and Leo Abrahams, with lyrics co-written by Michel Faber and Danny Hillis. The album was launched with a public conversation between Eno and the writer Michael Bracewell at the Marble Palace in St Petersburg and its cover photograph was taken by Eno himself in Beijing, during his first Chinese audio installation in the city’s Ritan Park. Following Warner Bros’ purchase of Hannibal Records in 2006, the licence for Another Day on Earth lapsed in 2008 and the album has been unavailable outside Japan ever since. Its absence has not dimmed its following: the track ‘And Then So Clear’ has racked up more than two million streams on YouTube despite never having an official release and songs from the album, including ‘And Then So Clear’, ‘Caught Between’, ‘Bottomliners’ and ‘Bonebomb’, have surfaced in Eno’s rare live performances, including alongside his brother Roger at the Acropolis in 2022, with Icebreakers at Brighton Festival in 2010, and with a 45-piece orchestra on the 2023 Ships tour.

Per Hammar returns to his own Dirty Hands imprint with the four-track ‘Ontario EP’, once again showcasing his raw, robust and groove-led style.

Swedish producer and DJ Per Hammar has steadily carved out a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary underground electronic music. As the founder of the acclaimed Dirty Hands imprint, Hammar has built a platform synonymous with deep, groove-led and uncompromising club music, while other productions have found homes on some of the scene's most respected labels including Sushitech, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Craigie Knowes. Here we see him returning to his own home and delivering stripped-back late-night tools, psychedelic excursions and deep, hypnotic dancefloor journeys.

Title cut ‘Ontario’ leads with crisp, crunchy drums alongside dubby bass tones, fluttering stab sequences and intricate modulations. ‘Off Disk’ follows with organic percussion, weighty sub-bass and delayed melodies. ‘Oops All Sixes’ moves into acid-tinged House territory, while ‘Airex’ closes with oscillating percussion, a snaking low-end pulse and airy chords.

Released on Front Line Frequency, the “Sounds From The Front Line” 12" by Grant Dell brings together four tracks from his back catalog, produced between 2002 and 2005 and now available for the first time collectively on one record. The selection centers on the rolling house groove that brought Grant Dell attention in the early 2000s, channeling that energy into a compact 12" format.

The A-side features “So Good,” originally released on Jay Tripwire’s Spaced Out imprint, as well as “Acid Bubble Baby” featuring DJ Deano, which first appeared on Stupendous; the B-side offers a reissue of the Chicago Transit Authority cut “Still Disillusioned” and “Be Good Tonight,” originally released on Cove Records. All tracks are written and produced by Grant Dell, with the sole exception of the A2 collaboration with DJ Deano; for this edition, the tracks were remastered by Justin Drake. The compilation makes the origins of the tracks clearly audible, linking early releases with an updated sonic presentation and underscoring Front Line Frequency’s focus on Dell’s distinctive club cuts.

Dialog’s “Symbol Of The Land” LP is released on Kynant and marks the duo’s move toward a deliberately beat-driven full-length, expanding their previously ambient and dub-oriented approaches into more strongly rhythm-focused arrangements. Dialog, the production and performance project of Helsinki-based Samuel van Dijk and Rasmus Hedlund, combines dub techno aesthetics with a collaborative working method; on “Symbol Of The Land,” this openness to voices and rhythmic traditions becomes a principle that shapes the album’s structure.

The album documents a period of intensive exchange and brings the duo’s studio and live experience into a new balance: precisely placed drums and modulated bass textures merge with spatial processing and occasional vocal interjections, elements already heard in earlier Dialog projects. The production emphasizes textural depth and spatial movement without abandoning dub’s characteristic delay and filtering strategies; instead, these are integrated into functional grooves that open up both club and listening spaces. “Symbol Of The Land” on Kynant reflects Dialog’s intention to translate dubwise sound design into a collaborative, globally oriented album format.

The "More Than This" 12" by Ron Obvious is released on Healing Channel and presented by Garrett David. The 12" brings together four tracks—"Dilating Music Twist," "Give It Back," "More Than This," and "Rook One"—and follows the concept of the new sublabel, which Garrett David uses as a curatorial platform.

Musically, the release moves between ambient, deep house, and tech house. Soft, spacious pads meet warmly drawn basslines and precise, understated grooves; the arrangements favor atmosphere and subtle motion over bombastic effects. This balance makes the tracks work both in late-night club sets and for listening sessions at home.

The title track kicks off with haunting, reflective lines—"It's Obvious You Won't Survive by Your Wits Alone"—and ties these lyrical fragments to a floating yet rhythmically focused foundation. Other tracks on the record range between a meditative ambient vibe and more dance-oriented passages, creating an organic arc of tension.

Overall, "More Than This" showcases Ron Obvious’s penchant for subtle production details and for a style of production that couples atmosphere with club appeal. The 12" thus represents a coherent continuation of his work and fits smoothly into the sonic aesthetic of the Healing Channel catalog.

The "Nothing Space Music" LP by Maya Ongaku is released on Guruguru Brain and translates the band's electronically attuned experiments into a contemplative format built around left-of-center grooves. On the LP, the band brings together eight compositions, including "Vanishing Waves," "Astral Echoes," and "You are Silence," conceived as carefully arranged, dynamically restrained pieces that weave together vocals, textured synth pads, and acoustic elements. All songs were written and arranged by Maya Ongaku; production took place in a dedicated recording space the group refers to as the "Nothing Space Studio," which audibly results in a dense, spatial sonic aesthetic.

The release on Guruguru Brain underscores Maya Ongaku's affinity with contemporary, experimental sound forms; this label edition presents the album sequencing with clarity and places emphasis on analog presence in the LP format. Musically, "Nothing Space Music" moves within the field of tension between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield without slipping into obvious patterns: calm, modular arrangements meet subtle rhythmic shifts and organic melodic strands. The result is an album that rewards repeated listening and uses the contrasts between silence and sound as a central compositional device.

The 12" “Make A Move On Me” by Joey Montenegro (Dave Lee), released on Groovin, brings together all the key versions of the track in a single edition: the long “Club Mix” (8:54) as well as the “Original Disco Mix” and the “Dubwize Re‑Organisation.” The release collects the different reworks on a physical format and appears under license from Z Records.

Musically, “Make A Move On Me” fuses classic disco aesthetics with contemporary house production; its characteristic features include prominent clav licks, rhythmic guitar, subtle piano passages, and a distinctly funky bass line, all topped off with powerful vocals. Dave Lee, who also works under various other aliases, has revisited the song several times over the course of his career and in 2023 delivered a deliberately disco‑oriented new version that transfers the song’s internal melodies into a stripped‑down, dancefloor‑focused arrangement.

Key contributors include Taka Boom on vocals and Michele Chiavarini on keys; the tracks are based on compositions by Dave Lee (with Yvonne Stevens) and originated in the orbit of Z Productions. The 12" edition thus documents both Dave Lee’s production signature and the licensing relationship with Z Records, while the pressing will be brought to market in 2026 on Groovin.

The “Utility” LP by Barker is released on Ostgut Ton and consistently continues the dance-oriented spirit of experimentation he began on his debut EP “Debiasing.” A Berghain resident and co-founder of Leisure System, Barker playfully links club-ready structures with an exploratory approach to rhythm, harmony, and timbre on this debut LP. Across nine tracks, he probes the balance between immediate dancefloor impact and a deliberately stripped-back, genre-associated instrumentation; bass and percussive impulses function less as genre markers than as elements of a deliberate compositional intent.

Musically, Barker relies heavily on modular synthesis, self-built mechanical instruments, and plate reverbs to shape dense, at times psychedelic vignettes that oscillate between futuristic melodic lines and precisely placed rhythmic figures. In terms of content, “Utility” draws on utilitarian and transhumanist themes — models for quantifying pleasure, ideas of “gradients of happiness,” and the ethical question of minimizing suffering find concrete counterparts in the sound design. The album is not a concept record in the classic sense, but an open, candid experiment: music as a tool for maximizing experience and as a vehicle for consciousness-expanding moments, presented by Barker on Ostgut Ton in uncompromising form.

With the 12" “Flowz,” released on Bcco, Luigi Madonna presents the next level of his creativity while largely staying true to his style. The Neapolitan producer and DJ has established himself over the years as a fixture of the techno club scene, and in his productions he combines powerful, peak‑time‑oriented beats with carefully placed atmospheric synth pads. His sound is characterized by precise percussion, clear arrangements, and a clear focus on the dance floor, while still leaving room for subtle melodic elements. Luigi Madonna has worked with renowned labels and has repeatedly released records that resonate both in major clubs and in more specialized sets. This 12" joins that artistic panorama and offers a tightly focused selection of tracks that showcase Madonna’s ability to pair techno‑driven hardness with a keen, form‑conscious sense of dynamics, further sharpening his artistic signature.

The “Astro” double LP by Donato Dozzy is released on Tresor and comes in a gatefold sleeve with download card. Over two sides, Dozzy unfolds a concept that links personal memories of Japanese animated series with his familiar synth architecture. The title piece “Astro” directly references an early sample source taken from a Japanese TV anthem and functions as the central motif of the album.

Musically, on “Astro” Donato Dozzy combines stripped-down, hypnotic structures with precise sound design: tracks like “Raydeen” and “Himika (M Song)” rely on powerful yet restrained arpeggios, while “Pegasu” conjures images of machines lifting off. “Jumbo Crack” was created on an EMS Synthi AKS and works without drums; rising basses and white noise here generate a sensation of takeoff. The eponymous composition “Astro” is based on a children’s song sampled directly for the first time, which serves as its point of departure. The set concludes with “Ryoma (Lò Song),” whose wide, trance-like pads function as a finale. With “Astro,” Tresor presents a focused release in which Donato Dozzy fuses his synthesizer work and his memories of collecting into a coherent whole with a cosmic feel.

The 12" “A Thing Or 2” by Qnete, released on Kann, comprises four house tracks that can formally be classified as deep house/deep tech. Side A features “Infra” (06:45) and “Desto” (06:59), while side B contains “Saint-Savin” (07:01) and the title track “A Thing Or 2” (05:45). The precise sequencing and the compact running time of the individual pieces make the 12" a focused presentation of Qnete’s current production approach.

With “A Thing Or 2,” Qnete marks his debut on Kann; the four tracks are hard to pin down temporally and move stylistically along a line that could be described as close to the characteristic Kann sound. The release emphasizes subtle variations in arrangement and rhythm without reducing itself to simple genre labels, and highlights Qnete’s way of handling the span between club readiness and experimental restraint. For listeners following developments within the house scene, “A Thing Or 2” on Kann offers a concentrated insight into a current body of work that deliberately balances between the present and its reference points.

Released on Situationism, the “Time To Shuff” 12" by BRS brings an early chapter of British deep house production back into focus: the original first appeared in 2000 on Cyclo and helped establish the BRS sound. Situationism has now reissued the historic record, repressing the EP on vinyl and recreating the original artwork, making this early single accessible once again within the label’s contemporary aesthetic.

Musically, the “Time To Shuff” EP centers on smooth, shuffle‑driven grooves and warm, melodic elements that have long been associated with BRS; the blend of house and deep house remains distinctive and timeless. This reissue is part of Situationism’s ongoing engagement with its own archive and earlier BRS releases, adding another piece of evidence to the label’s body of work for the importance of the group in the British deep house context. For listeners who value the early BRS productions, the new Situationism pressing of the “Time To Shuff” 12" offers a carefully presented opportunity to rediscover this formative release.

Lego Edit, the alias of Italian musician Diego Lelli, works with targeted interventions in existing musical material on “Jazzfloor Edits 2.” The two re-edits retain the character of their source material while shaping their structure around a clear, groove-driven progression. The release thus continues the Jazzfloor series, whose first installment was also released as a 7-inch on Lego Edit. Legofunk remains true to its concept of compact edits and presents “Jazzfloor Edits 2” as a release focused on two tracks. New and stunning release on Smiling C limited to 500 copies worldwide. Exclusively available through HHV in Europe.

More than four years in the making, Tiki Shack Recording Studios AKA Smiling C Records & Mike Patricola present Pipe Dreams — a compilation of sidewalk surf bands, tropical troubadours, and soothing sounds from just beyond the reef.

Compiled by Mike Patricola, Pipe Dreams is the culmination of years spent exchanging obscure recordings, pursuing a shared feeling, and uncovering a sub-genre of overlooked songs that could be woven into a story of surf, snorkel, and sun. Drawn from Patricola's collection, the compilation aims to capture the feeling of endless summer, and serves as an ode to the freedom of island living: Bikini-shaped sunburns, coconut stands closed due to perfect swells, slack guitars, perpetual sunsets, guppies darting through shallow water, and afternoons spent face-down in the sand.

Spanning the late 1970s through the mid 1980s, Pipe Dreams gathers forgotten pop, lounge, soft rock, AOR, disco, and private-press oddities into a time capsule that seeks to epitomize an era that existed before life became mediated by screens. One in which technology was more naive and society was less reliant upon it. Time moved slower, people were better able to connect with their surroundings, and the dream of moving to a coastal utopia felt more attainable.

Each side unfolds as its own chapter.

Side A begins with Midwestern lettermen The Sunset Kidds, whose hypnagogic harmonies on “Darlin’” evoke the Beach Boys mired in the post-summer doldrums. Australia's Simplex 2 follow with the previously unreleased “Tiger Bay”, capturing the slow pulse of a perfect beach day through low end groove. Don Moore's infectious “Water Lily” arrives via a romantic Fire Island love affair, while Cay Gottlieb contributes a dose of Bahamian Balearica. To close the side out, Tennessee crooner Ron Holmes delivers an extra dose of salt on the margarita rim for good measure.

Side B shifts into a more upbeat surf-disco and pub-rock mode. Montreal’s Dino Pacifici’s nostalgic ode to carefree summers long passed, followed by Marseille's own The Students "Ocean Lifestyle" — which sits somewhere between Shuggie Otis and The Stranglers. Another Montréalais artist Pierre Rochette delivers a chuggy surf-disco belter, while Special Edition Band ventures from boozy rock into a washed-out paradise with glistening guitars.

Side C serves as an ode to tropical troubadours — intimate songs that range from drum machine lounge to private island bedroom recordings. Japan's Twin Cosmos, actual identical twins, dream up beachfront breezes on "Coconuts Wind." Hawaiian songwriter Dennis Soares offers the delicate and deeply personal "One World," while Ossie Parker Jr. supplies some Bahamian barroom sophistication. Miles Corbin brings sounds straight from the tiki hut, and lounge lizard Glen Banks takes us into the final intermission with a lullaby live from the Coconut Grove.

Side D catches a wave back in. Meri-Lynn & The Key Lime Pie Band celebrate the Florida Key life, Dennis Soares returns for one final Hawaiian postcard, and the Latin band Acapulco contribute a hefty dose of sunny positivity akin to one of Brian Wilson’s cheerier tunes. To round it out, Rick Sharp injects a touch of Bossa cheek and fantasy, and British pub blokes Contrast steer the compilation back toward where it all began — a destination somewhere between a Beach Boy California paradise, a remote oceanside lounge for loners, and a sleazy coastal timeshare.

Pressed on vinyl in a deluxe die-cut, spot-glossed gatefold jacket featuring artwork by our man Charles Bals and cover “Breaking Wave” photo by Lex Thompson. Pipe Dreams is designed as both a listening experience and an object of escape. Drop the needle, lean back, and let the tide carry you away.

The “Choices” 12-inch by Brennan, released on Dig This, combines elements of techno, minimal and tech house, consistently continuing the young label’s release series.

Following the success of its debut EP, the Dig This collective returns with another statement; if the first release is any indication, “Choices” is not one to sleep on.

Brennan is no stranger to the scene and has already achieved a noteworthy breakthrough, giving the record a palpable sense of anticipation. On the production side, this experience is evident in focused arrangements and clear rhythmic direction designed both for DJ sets and actual club play.

The tracks on “Choices” work with sparse yet effective layering of electronic elements, precise percussion and an emphasized groove architecture, allowing the twelve-inch format to communicate its club-oriented intent directly. Dig This uses the release to underscore its focus on pared-back, dance-oriented forms of electronic music and, with Brennan, delivers a record distinguished by restrained yet effective production.

The "Defected & Peppermint Jam Present House Masters: M" LP by Mousse T. is released on Defected and presents a focused compilation drawn from the producer’s body of work. The release comprises a 30-track program of his original productions, selected remixes and an exclusive rework; the result highlights Mousse T.’s connection to Peppermint Jam and his feel for groove-based arrangements in the realm of downbeat / electronica / leftfield.

Musically, the selection lines up well-known statement tracks such as "Horny" alongside funkier cuts like "Brother On The Run" and more house-oriented titles like "Ooh Song." These are complemented by more recent works and remix commissions, including Mousse T.’s versions of "Sing It Back" and his own take on "Cola," as well as a brand-new reworked version of Dennis Ferrer’s "Hey Hey." The compilation also documents collaborations and production work Mousse T. has nurtured over the years with artists such as Bootsy Collins, First Choice and Boris Dlugosch, and in doing so reflects the breadth of his work as a producer, remixer and co-founder of Peppermint Jam.

The Silver Vinyl edition of the "1998" 12" by Binary Finary is released on Armada and brings the classic to the format as a limited silver pressing.

"1998" is regarded as a milestone of late‑nineties trance: the melody and its rising tension arcs earned the track high positions in the UK dance charts and turned it into a defining soundtrack of the international scene. This edition brings together not only the extended version of the original but also legendary remix versions — including the definitive rework by Paul van Dyk and the powerful rendition by Victor Ruiz — and completes the set with a new remix by Paul Oakenfold featuring Marie Vaunt on the B‑side.

Musically, "1998" remains a textbook example of anthemic trance aesthetics: expansive arpeggios, ascending breaks and distinctive lead lines merge with a driving groove to form a grand, emotional structure. The included remixes open up different listening experiences — from euphoric uplifting to darker, more techno‑leaning moments — and demonstrate how flexibly the source material responds to modern production approaches. This 12" thus offers both historical context and fresh club perspectives on one of the most recognizable trance contenders of the nineties.

The "Himawari EP1" 12" by Swayzak, released on Palace Limited, brings together two rare versions from the "Himawari" era on vinyl for the first time and marks a focused return of the duo. Swayzak, consisting of David Brown and James S. Taylor, revisit material from their second album roughly 25 years on, translating the reduced, groove-oriented aesthetic of the original into precise, club-ready arrangements.

On "Himawari EP1" you’ll find the first-ever full-length vinyl version of "Japan Air" (Full Mix, remastered, 10:11), which in its extended form creates space for breathing melodic arcs and deeper rhythmic structures. In contrast, "Annadub" (2025 Master, 15:04) is an expansive, densely constructed dub take that starts out organically and slowly unfolds over its length. Both tracks have been reworked for this release and offer nuances previously only audible in alternate versions or digital editions.

The "Himawari EP1" on Palace Limited presents Swayzak in a matter-of-fact, focused way: stripped-back productions, clear bass foundations, and subtle textures link techno, minimal, and tech house. As a 12", the release adds targeted extensions to the duo’s canon and presents two exemplary snapshots from the "Himawari" sessions.

Released on Punctuality, the “Echo-Chambered” 12" by Bliss Inc. brings together two distinctive tracks: “Carousel” and “The Shake.” The release carries catalog number PNCT011 and was written and produced by Alexander Starodubov; mastering and lacquer cut were handled by Marco Pellegrino, with artwork by Lucia Dominguez.

Bliss Inc. positions itself at the intersection of progressive house and tech house elements, with a focus on expansive soundscapes and driving rhythms suited both to laid-back sets and peak-time club contexts. Hallmarks include deft harmonic progressions, subtle breakdowns, and a strong sense of tension in the arrangements, giving the sound a clear DJ focus while also unfolding considerable melodic power.

This 12" emphasizes clean production and DJ usability: Marco Pellegrino’s precise lacquer cutting ensures dynamic low-end depth, while Alexander Starodubov’s compositions leave room for transitions and creative mixing. The work released on Punctuality fits seamlessly into the label’s spectrum of electronic club music and offers DJs as well as listeners a compact, clearly focused addition to the current scene.

The compilation “12 Inch Lovers 13” on the 541 label brings together nine complete club tracks on a double LP. The selection celebrates the 15th anniversary of 12 Inch Lovers, a Belgian concept that has been presenting house and club music exclusively on vinyl since 2011. Alongside established tracks, it features rare discoveries and titles making their vinyl debut here.

The compilation opens with Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s “Sorry I Am Late,” whose distinctive bassline gained wider recognition through Solomun’s Boiler Room performance in Tulum. Karmon and Terry Shand’s “Take My Hand” follows with a melodic club track featuring prominent vocals, while Tocadisco’s “Morumbi” emphasizes the collection’s driving character.

Another standout moment is “Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing)” by Fred Again.. and The Blessed Madonna, a track about the shared experience of dancing that is missed. Kotai’s “Sucker DJ” appears in a remix by Marcin “Highfish” Kozlowski, while Daddy’s Groove and Little Nancy deliver a grooving rendition of “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay.” The compilation is rounded out by Martijn ten Velden’s remix of “Guitarra G” and “Lifetimes” by Slam featuring Tyrone Palmer. “12 Inch Lovers 13” thus combines house, trance, and timeless club music in a carefully curated selection.

The “Murderous Style” 12-inch by Dub War, originally released on Tempa, is returning as a vinyl repress of the edition “Murderous Style/Generation,” originally released in 2001, bringing the band’s striking dubstep statement back to record collections. Dub War and the Tempa label together represent a historically significant contribution to the early dubstep scene; this 12-inch places the title track at the center and complements it with its counterpart, “Generation,” making the single both a clear statement and a compact piece of club history.

The reissue preserves the original pairing of “Murderous Style” and “Generation” and makes it possible to hear the material again under the Dub War name. For dubstep fans and collectors who keep an eye out for Tempa releases, the “Murderous Style” 12-inch is a direct reference to early, genre-defining releases; with it, the Tempa label brings a documented piece of the scene back into circulation. This straightforward reissue emphasizes the continuity of the material and offers an opportunity to revisit Dub War’s production work and compositional direction in their original 12-inch format.

The “Signs Of Static” 12" by Downside, released on Fuse Imprint, presents a distinctive contribution from the tension-filled intersection of techno, minimal, and tech house. Downside works with reduced, precise rhythmic patterns and cleanly defined basslines that operate at the interface between stripped-down minimal aesthetics and club-ready energy. The production relies on contrasting sonic spaces, where percussive nuances and subtle textures are given room to unfold without losing the driving underlying tension. Across the 12", Downside keeps the material tight and layers moods that work both in DJ sets and in focused dance floor moments. With “Signs Of Static,” Fuse Imprint expands its catalog with a clear statement release that further anchors Downside within the contemporary electronic scene.

The "Convention" 12" by Gingerblack, released on Anxiety Therapy, marks an important step for the Berlin label on the occasion of its fifth anniversary: the imprint’s first-ever vinyl release appears as a special EP and brings Gingerblack’s signature sound to vinyl for the first time. The "Convention" EP puts Gingerblack’s deep, soul-infused approach front and center and complements it with two remixes by longtime companions from the Berlin scene.

Musically, "Convention" documents a subtle interplay between disco and boogie elements, with Gingerblack spotlighting melodic work and warm grooves. The versions contributed by Shahrokh Dini and Luna City Express each put their own spin on the material: both remixes open up new perspectives on the originals and function as complementary counterparts that unfold their strengths both on the dance floor and during focused listening. Anxiety Therapy uses this release as an opportunity to sharpen its label identity and to position Gingerblack as a permanent fixture in its program.

The "Convention" 12" thus delivers not only a tangible physical edition, but also a focused presentation of sound aesthetics and collaboration within the Berlin house and disco scene.

Released on STABLO, the 12" “No. 9994” by STABLO brings together two concise, untitled tracks (A: 2:19, B: 2:20) and is offered exclusively on vinyl as a strictly limited edition. On the Bandcamp page, STABLO announces the release as a one-time pressing with a per-customer purchase limit; the physical edition is clearly aimed at collectors and the DJ community.

Musically, “No. 9994” operates in the space between breaks, minimal, and tech house, with the tracks built around lean structures and compact arrangements. STABLO, as a project and label with ties to Berlin, continues a stripped-down aesthetic that relies on punchy grooves and loop-based structures; this focus is also reflected in the associated genre tags. The release comes across as the logical outcome of the project’s many years of activity.

For DJs, the 12" offers immediate applications as a transition or set element thanks to its short, focused tracks; for collectors, the limited nature of the pressing is a defining feature. The label does not explicitly provide concrete credits for producers or participating musicians, so the emphasis remains on the sound concept and the record’s physical presence.

The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe is being released on DDS as a 2026 repress, bringing back the elusive album by an artist who has been puzzling listeners ever since his early Chain Reaction releases. DDS is reissuing the work and thus putting this collection of archival and new material back in the spotlight; the re-release directly points to Atobe’s unique run across two decades of electronic production.

Musically, “Butterfly Effect” remains an idiosyncratic chapter somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house: the record opens with a dragging, almost syrupy opener, moves on to a nine-minute, precisely crafted piano house piece, and then dives into dense, drone-like passages. The compositions combine sparse rhythms with textured sonics and contain small but unmistakable signatures that lend the album its timeless aura. The fact that Demdike Stare and the wider DDS circle were the driving force behind its release and reappraisal is reflected in the selection and careful cohesion of the tracks. The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe on DDS thus remains a densely documentary yet enigmatic entry in his discography, whose 2026 reissue once again highlights the special quality of this material.

The “You Can Always Leave / Companion” 12" released on Scissor And Thread brings together two distinctive contributions from the label’s close circle and is firmly rooted in the house and deep house spectrum. The A-side features Francis Harris’s “You Can Always Leave (Curtains)” with the charismatic voice of Gry Bagøien in DJ Sprinkles’s extended remix version; the B-side offers “Companion,” a collaboration between Frank & Tony and DJ Sprinkles that stands out for its subtle tension and warm groove.

“You Can Always Leave (Curtains)” originally appeared as a vinyl single and was later documented in a different form on Francis Harris’s album Minutes Of Sleep; the recording is characterized by its melancholic melodic lines and trumpet-like accents from Greg Paulus, which lend the arrangement a chamber music-like depth. DJ Sprinkles’s remix extends the introspective atmosphere and emphasizes subtle rhythmic shifts as well as a calm, expansive sense of space.

“Companion,” in turn, comes from Frank & Tony’s You EP trilogy and for a long time was in demand as a vinyl-exclusive version; both original pressings had been out of print since their initial releases. Scissor And Thread is now presenting the tracks in a limited reissue, complemented by new remasters by DJ Sprinkles that bring out the sonic focus on warm lows and detailed mids.

The “Smoky Clinic EP” 12" by Mark Ambrose has been released on Curated By Time and brings the four tracks of this minor underground house classic back onto vinyl. The reissue presents the original cuts in fresh pressings, making the distinctive sound of an EP often cited in club contexts directly tangible again.

On these tracks, Mark Ambrose is characterized by a blend of acid elements, stripped‑back house grooves, and sporadic electro influences; titles like “Underwater Acid” and “X‑Rays” work with sawing basslines and sparsely placed melodies, while “Hocus Pocus” and “Starship” combine airy synth pads with driving rhythms. The arrangements remain focused and functional, giving DJs clearly defined energy peaks while offering listeners musical subtleties that reveal themselves with repeated plays.

Originally released in 1997, the production was written and produced by Mark Ambrose and now receives a new edition on Curated By Time; the pressing credits list the reissue as a remastered or newly recut version. Overall, the “Smoky Clinic EP 2026 Repress” reconfirms the work’s status as a timeless reference point for compact, incisive house productions and adds to the retrospective picture of a producer whose style negotiates between dancefloor orientation and subtle sound design.

Released on Suburban Architecture, the “Visions EP” 12" by Suburban Architecture marks the debut of the London DJ/producer duo Suburban Architecture. The record deliberately draws on the sonic aesthetic of the mid-to-late ’90s, blending nostalgic elements with modern production techniques.

The title track “Visions ’96” combines atmospheric jazz samples and ominous horn arrangements with broken drums reminiscent of Source Direct and Photek. “Equilibrium” offers a fresh take on the classic roller: lush synth pads meet rolling Amen patterns to create a dense groove. “Cubic Nature” builds on expansive pads, subtly layered vocal textures, and deep atmospheres, while “Pulses” links ’80s soul-style keyboard lines with jazzy horn licks to create a warm yet driving mood.

The “Visions EP” consists of four tracks and executes the duo’s creative concept with consistent focus. On this 12" release, Suburban Architecture relies on clean arrangements and precise sound design details to translate the influences of the classic drum & bass era into a contemporary sonic language. The interplay of breaks, pads, and melodic fragments makes the record a precise statement within the jungle and drum & bass scene.

The "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" LP by Steffi was released on Dekmantel Records and marks the producer’s fifth solo studio album. Drawing on her many years of club experience, Steffi translates the energy of the dance floor into a series of clear, purposeful arrangements centered around what she calls the “Feel Factor” – that moment when DJ, music, and dancing crowd come together. The record emerged from a conceptual process in which more than forty ideas were distilled down to nine tracks that deliberately aim for intensity and directness.

Musically, Steffi combines precise drum programming with airy pads, orchestral strings, and memorable melodies, free of unnecessary ornamentation. The opener, "The Rolling Wave," immediately pulls you into shifting sonic spaces, while the title track wraps you in shimmering rhythms and lush string layers. "Acoustics Of Space" picks up tempo and urgency, driven by propulsive drums and euphoric pad swells that translate the club moment into sound. On Dekmantel, Steffi presents with "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" a focused, club-oriented vision in which production clarity and emotional breadth go hand in hand.

The “Running Around (83)” 12" by Yl Hooi, released on Efficient Space, brings a long road-tested live piece to vinyl for the first time. The hand-stamped white-label 12" honors the raw presentation of the material and presents the central version alongside three self-contained renditions.

Yl Hooi, the duo of Valya Ying-Li Hooi and Tarquin Manek, uses “Running Around (83)” to document a dense combination of crushing rhythms, otherworldly voices, and cryptic fragments of text that ride atop an overdriven, dub-techno-oriented bassline. It’s the project’s first release since “Untitled” (2019) and channels the tension honed in live performance into a focused studio version that preserves both its motoric weight and its finely detailed sonic observations.

The record comprises four tracks: the original version, the “Mad Professor Dub,” the “Ulla Version,” and the “John T. Gast Remix.” Mad Professor delivers a percussion-heavy halftime stepper variant featuring contributions from Black Steel and Karmelody. Ulla’s version rebuilds the theme, weaving together woodwinds, keys, and subtle percussion to create a meeting point between ambient, minimal jazz, and contemporary classical. John T. Gast pulls the material into a rough, sound-system-oriented dance form where lo-fi aesthetics and distorted energy intersect. With this 12", Efficient Space remains a forum for experimental, hybrid-inflected electronics.

The “Mystic Meltdown” double LP by Acid Pauli is released on All Is Acid in a gatefold cover. Martin Gretschmann, known as Acid Pauli as well as for his work with Console and The Notwist, presents his first full-length album since “MOD,” released in 2020. The release combines electronic music, indie dance, ambient, house and techno-inflected elements into a cohesive, dynamic flow.

On “Mystic Meltdown,” Acid Pauli creates a dense soundscape in which pulsing rhythms, multilayered textures and abrupt contrasts interweave. The album took shape over an extended period and follows a carefully developed arc that brings together different tempos and emotional nuances. “Yes, Caroline” hints at an abstract connection to the Beach Boys and “Pet Sounds,” while “Con Toda Palabra” features Sophie Hunger performing a Spanish interpretation of the song by Lhasa de Sela.

Other distinctive vocals come from Hani Mojtahedy, whose Kurdish singing shapes “Goman (Remix),” as well as from Kingdom Molongi. Their voices can be heard as a sample on the title track, “Mystic Meltdown,” and return in “Mystic Feedback.” Kingdom Molongi grew out of a project involving Portuguese musician Jonathan Uliel Saldanha and the Kingdom Ulfame Choir, a seven-member ensemble of Congolese singers from Uganda. On All Is Acid, Acid Pauli thus combines electronic precision with improvised vocal music and global influences.
