Announced as a limited collector’s pressing, it comes in a gatefold sleeve with newly designed etching, reissuing the original record format in a refreshed collector’s presentation.

When it was released in 2001, *Cinquième As* showcased a sharper yet melodic side of MC Solaar’s songwriting; the record combines precise rhyme technique with sophisticated arrangements in which R&B elements and multi-voice female vocal parts provide key accents. Hallmarks of the album are its thematic range and tightly constructed lyricism, embodied in singles such as “Solaar pleure,” “Hasta la vista,” and “La Belle et le bad boy.” This reissue makes the production and the album’s defining tracks accessible once again.

The eleventh album by the Parisian abstract hip hop and trip hop producer is conceived as a direct homage to his groundbreaking 2015 work *Endless Smile* and continues its sonic signature. As early as the late nineties, Degiheugi fell under the spell of turntablism and sampling; in the new millennium, he continuously refined his technique and developed a distinct, recognizable signature based on warm sound textures and carefully layered loops.

Musically, "Endless Smile 2" moves between abstract hip hop beats and trip hop–adjacent, partly instrumental arrangements shot through with organic, seventies‑inspired textures. The production relies on sample‑based collages, selective guest appearances, and subtle scratches, embedding melodic fragments and melancholic hues in a dense yet airy sonic narrative. Feature guests such as Miscellaneous, N’Zeng, and Chima Anya appear on the album and complement Degiheugi’s compositional approach.

Released on SCMD Music, the LP "Une Ball Dans La Tête" is presented here as a black vinyl edition, bringing the groundbreaking debut album by Belgian group De Puta Madre back to the vinyl format. Aimed at listeners who appreciate the raw, sample-driven hip-hop of the early nineties, this vinyl edition presents the originally self-produced tracks in remastered form, highlighting the unpolished DJ work and the pronounced beats.

Hailing from Schaerbeek (Brussels), De Puta Madre were regarded, with "Une Ball Dans La Tête," as one of the first independent rap outfits in Belgium; the album, originally released in the mid-nineties, established the group within the Francophone hip-hop scene. Stylistically, the record blends multilingual flows, turntablism, and a broad spectrum of influences ranging from funk to Latin-inspired rhythms, which left a lasting mark on the ensemble’s character.

The sound is defined by Smimooz’s production and DJ Grazzhoppa’s cuts, which give the tracks their textural depth; at the same time, the songs make striking use of sample-based references, as in the title track, which draws on elements from Isaac Hayes’s repertoire. Guest appearances and crew features further contribute to the variety of the arrangements, making the LP a document of the Belgian underground scene.
