The “Killaz from the Blackside” LP by 2nd Family is released on Death Is Not The End and brings the tape, recorded in 1996, to vinyl for the first time, limited to 300 copies. The release comprises nine tracks and presents the sequence originally created for cassette in a re‑materialized LP format including digital download; the presentation emphasizes the documentary character of the recordings without any additional post-production.

The material was recorded in 1996 in a home studio at the Southern Hills Apartments in the Whitehaven neighborhood of South Memphis; King JC worked closely with MCs Pistol Grip and Killa Chrome. The recording was produced by Lil Carlos and King JC, with Jeff Cage as executive producer; all songs were written, arranged, and performed by 2nd Family. Musically, “Killaz from the Blackside” is characterized by a lean, dark production and an introspective atmosphere that clearly sets it apart from the prevalent, overdriven sound of the time. The title track “Killaz from the Blackside” and the collaboration “Playalistic” stand for the group’s sober, paranoid expression and underline the unique standing of this document within the mid‑90s scene. The LP casts light on an early, distinctive chapter from South Memphis.

The White Vinyl edition of Cyrus Malachi’s *The Burning Tree* LP was released on Hidden Identity Productions. The release places the MC within the UK hip-hop scene and offers the album in the White Vinyl edition specified in the title. The Marble Vinyl Edition of the “Wizville Marbled Vinyl Edition” LP by Ocean Wisdom is released on High Focus and comes as a limited 2x12" marbled-vinyl pressing of 400 copies.

Released on Heavenly, the “3CAG” 12" by Kneecap brings the trio back onto vinyl with a gritty, straight-ahead form of UK hip hop and delivers the band’s characteristic mix of Irish verbal dexterity and urban energy in uncompromising fashion. Kneecap deliberately draw on Irish imagery and English influences, keeping the tracks sharp and letting them ride melodically over driving beats; the release highlights the unpolished mixtape aesthetic of their early material.

Deep in the hazy attic of a house on Hawthorn Street, “3CAG” took shape in 2018, when two young guys from west Béal Feirste began translating their stories and images into sound. With the help of connections to the “Conamara Cartel” and a search for a new identity—after a man from Free Derry went on the run and the trio came together—a mixtape narrative emerged that plays with linguistic somersaults and uses the Irish language with an unusually knowledgeable touch.

The mixtape was mastered in Dublin by Ciarán Byrne, whose work renders the rough production edges compact and present; the band paid for the mastering session in an unconventional way, culminating in an anecdote about a hole dug in the yard. The final Irish sentence, “Bhris siad gach riail, seachas caol le caol.” – “They broke every rule – except they stuck to the rules of Irish spelling” – sums up their ironic self-positioning and underlines the rebellious tone of “3CAG.”

The Blue Crystal vinyl edition of the “Crystal Skull” LP by Ramson Badbonez and Illinformed was released on High Focus. The vinyl edition, limited to 300 copies, documents a new chapter for the North London veteran and comprises 14 brand-new tracks that put Ramson Badbonez’s concise perspectives and narrative sharpness front and center. The "Homeless N*Gga Pop Music" LP by Jim Legxacy is being released on XL.

The release translates the mixtape, which first appeared digitally in 2023, into a physical format and gathers a spectrum of Afrobeats, emo, drill, grime, glitch, and UK garage that establishes Legxacy as a distinctive stylistic force within the British scene. Here’s the summer 2k24 banger from Flexi Cuts. This time they’ve roped in Daniele Tomassini, aka Feel Fly, DJ and producer from Perugia who’s graced labels like Hell Yeah, Internasjonal, Bosconi, International Feel, New Interplanetary Melodies, and co-founded the Afro Templum party. “Sole” is a euphoric, powerful, liberating track that’ll blow your mind and get you moving. It's a little anthem, versatile and dance-worthy, with those beloved Italo-house vibes that Daniele (and us) are totally into. J Littles returns with “FOUND”, his third full-length release on Noel & Poland Records. This follows the raw intensity of his debut MASSA and his uncompromising sophomore FURTHERMORE.

This year Natty Wylah has been cementing himself in London’s rich contemporary music scene with festival performances at Glastonbury, We Out Here with Silhouettes Project and a headline Southbank show as part of Nabihah Iqbal’s ‘Glory To Sound’ series. As well as contributions to Rhythm Sections, compilation ‘Shouts’ all in the run up to his next EP, Willowisp. Moth Wings / FB Trap is the perfect introduction to Natty’s world where magic, slime and reality all mix together. With his cinematic lyrics on MothWings, Natty conjures up the imagery of celestial moths, who when seeking the moonlight end up stuck chasing flickering artificial light bulbs. The track features the unmistakable characteristics of Natty’s sound: traipsing across hip-hop, the psychedelic and punk, all adorned with ethereal vocals and woozy synths from Poppy and Finn Billingham. Moth Wings/FB Trap are the first tracks available to listen to from his debut EP, Willowisp. Taking its name from a painting by Jamaican artist John Dunkley based on the myth of Will-’o-the-wisp, a ghost light seen by travelers over bogs and swamps at night that often led them to their demise. This world of light and dark is expressed by Natty throughout the EP, questing through the unknown forest in the dark, wet air and moss, in order to move past constraints and to find freedom.

Originally released in 2004, A Grand Don’t Come for Free is the acclaimed second album by The Streets and one of the defining British records of the 2000s.

Released on Reptilian, the 10" record "III" by Palmar de Troya brings together seven new tracks that transfer the band’s raw energy to the medium with precision. This year marks the 20th anniversary of 'Dirty Old Hip Hop', so we celebrate with a repress of what is now considered a stone cold classic. Originally released in 2006, this Worldwide Awards nominated album is a masterful collection of tunes from 4hero's Marc Mac. With musicians Somatik and Luke Parkhouse on board and rappers Voice and Capital A, Marc has re-imagined Hip-Hop breaks and beats and placed them into grooves that pay homage to the tunes from which those beats were originally sampled. A very post-modern approach has resulted in an album of timeless music which transcends eras and has the ability to sound as fresh as it does familiar. Fresh from the success of his debut solo LP ‘How To Kill A Butterfly’ out last year on High Focus Records, Farma G returns with the anticipated full-length follow up ’Nearly Nothing’s Enough’.

An album anchored in his notorious musical adventures as 1/2 of Task Force, Bury Crew and Mud Family, but very much informed by the state of 2026 Britain and beyond, Farma’s new body of work is fuelled by equal parts venom and deep introspection across 12-tracks courtesy of Brighton based producer Relense.

With one eye on following ‘How To Kill A Butterfly’ with something of equal standing, Farma revisited the fundamentals in the hope of better understanding what he really wants to say with the music he makes. By channelling feelings of familiarity and seeking out emotional connections to his past he created a record that feels both concise and expansive.

‘Elevation’ is album eleven from High Focus Records founder and 1/4 of The Four Owls Fliptrix.

The latest instalment in a formidable run sees the lyricist further his vision of the world in the hope of elevating the collective mind and spirit of both artist and listener across 19-tracks.

Having worked with Forest DLG in some capacity across all of his records over the past fifteen years, from mixing and mastering, but also collaborating on multiple tracks as rapper / producer, it is surprising that it took so long for the pair to come together on a full-length collaborative project.

‘Elevation’ is that record.

Fliptrix reached out to Forest with a view to creating something completely different from his previous boom bap heavy outing ‘Dragonfly’, he is always looking to advance his craft and take things higher, and after Forest responded with a pack of 70+ instrumentals the direction of travel became crystal clear. The result is an album designed to lift the listener into a higher state of consciousness and trigger conversations about the state of the world, in the hope of enacting positive change during tumultuous times.

Fliptrix’s vision and Forest DLG’s style feel perfectly aligned. The album is truly collaborative; Forest going away and creating the artwork inspired by Fliptrix’s otherworldly experiences with the Shipibo tribe in the rainforests of Peru; from the single covers, to the album cover and merchandise as Fliptrix focussed on writing.

Having worked with all the greats in the UK hip hop scene, Fliptrix actively sought out new energies on ‘Elevation’, especially when it comes to the album features. Jungle forefather General Levy on lead single ‘energy! Energy! Energy!’ Grime legend Frisco on ‘Visionaries’, Ayah Marar on ‘Transform’, Da Flyy Hooligan, Kamakaze, Coops, and a 19-strong HF posse cut in the shape of ‘Dangerous’ make this album a must-listen for anyone looking to elevate.

Shore connects is a collaborative album between Verbz Mr Slipz & Capriisun recorded in early February 2020. The album came about spontaneously during Caprii’s brief stay in the U.K. in which he connected with Verbz and Slipz to play a few shows in Brighton and London. During this period of roughly two weeks, the three of them decided to record an album between the gigs they had planned, which was later titled Shore Connects.

This album was created organically between these three and encompasses a diverse but cohesive sonic palette ranging from energetic boom-bap production reminiscent of golden era hip hop to more subdued lo-fi soundscapes.

Verbz and Caprii both shine in unison over Slipz’s production, displaying comfort and dexterity in their writing abilities with each verse. The album contains features from notable Yogocop members Benaddict and Nuphzed. As well as Conrad Mundy & Bador fellow London-based rappers.
