The “No. 9997” 12-inch by STABLO was released in 2011 and presents two concise, untitled tracks that were issued exclusively on vinyl. The release was announced as a strictly limited pressing and came without a digital release; upon its initial distribution, customers were limited to a maximum of one copy each. A Japan-exclusive limited-edition repress followed later, making the record available again in a tightly restricted quantity.

Musically, “No. 9997” operates within the realm of Dub Techno, relying on spacious, echo-drenched textures and pared-down, loop-based rhythms arranged in dense layers. The two sides keep the material short and focused, with tempos of approximately 122 and 124 BPM, respectively, and use bass and delay elements sparingly to give the tracks their weighty subtlety. The release underscores the STABLO label’s stripped-back aesthetic, geared toward DJ use and vinyl playability, and fits into its catalog of concise, club-ready Dub Techno 12-inch releases. For fans of dark, forward-driving studio sketches, the “No. 9997” 12-inch remains a concise addition to the STABLO catalog.

The “Split Residence EP” by Muster Men is released as a 12-inch on Cabaret and brings together four tracks that mark the project’s new direction on the label. The record features “Payback Time,” “Cyberstress,” “London & Tina,” and “Hydricus,” which together form a compact sequence geared toward driving grooves.

Musically, the EP operates in the realm of dark tech house and techno structures, dominated by dense basslines and precisely placed percussion. The arrangements remain focused, relying on a few carefully deployed elements that leave room for subtle variation; characteristic features include sparse melodic lines and a clear emphasis on rhythmic nuances.

Muster Men appear as a project with a clear club focus, building on a previous discography that already includes releases like the “Shattering The Shutters EP.” In live contexts and DJ sets, the duo showcases its affinity for darker, well-honed dance floor moments. The “Split Residence EP” documents this approach within a tight, focused framework and expands the Cabaret catalog with a release that will appeal both to DJs and to listeners with a taste for stripped-back, hard-hitting electronic productions.

“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

The “Be Yourself” 12" by Pancratio, released on Faith Beat, presents four compact club tracks that carry the artist’s sound forward in a focused way. The EP includes the tracks “Be Yourself,” “Take Me To The Music,” “Catch Me,” and “It’s Time,” forming a concise addition to Pancratio’s previous album “Automatic House” on the same label. With this 12", Faith Beat issues a compact, clearly structured single that expands the label’s catalog with another dancefloor-oriented release.

Musically, Pancratio relies on driving, hypnotic house arrangements in his familiar signature style: the title track opens with a purposeful groove, while “Take Me To The Music” carries the pulsing flow across the A-side. On the B-side, “Catch Me” and “It’s Time” provide a coherent continuation of the hypnotic pulse, dominated by rhythmic precision and a deeply rooted feel for flow and tension. The production remains clear and direct; Pancratio works with stripped-back elements that unfold their impact on the dancefloor. For fans of his previous work, the “Be Yourself” EP on Faith Beat is a clear, concentrated expression of his current club aesthetic and adds four considered tracks to the label’s program that are effective both in DJ sets and when played on loop.

By 2005, the Rob & Si partnership had found its stride. The Bubbles 12" by Ferg, released on The Naked Dance, comprises four tracks that sit somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house. Two of the cuts operate as high-energy dub-tech-house numbers, complemented by a lighthearted deep house track; the title composition "Bubbles" serves as a counterpoint and an ode to the deeper, more emotional side of Ferg’s productions, which the artist himself describes as the ones that give him the greatest satisfaction.

Musically, the release combines driving club readiness with deliberately deployed melody and a calmer, introspective dimension. The dub-oriented tracks lean into heightened energy and rhythmic density, the deep house cut brings lightness and a floating feel into the set, while "Bubbles" pushes the emotional nuances to the forefront. With this 12" on The Naked Dance, Ferg presents a compact selection that makes a clear statement both for DJ sets and for moments away from the dance floor, highlighting the breadth of his work between groove-centered arrangements and more sensitive, atmospheric moments.

Bee.G’s (O.Bee and Cem G) “Makes Me Feel” 12-inch, released on SWEEP, marks the second release from Dyed Soundorom’s newly founded label and brings a piece of the long-standing collaboration between New York and Istanbul to the dance floor. On this release, O.Bee and Cem G connect influences from Istanbul’s local music culture with experiences from ReSolute warehouse parties in Brooklyn and sets at Club der Visionaere in Berlin. The result sits confidently between techno, minimal and tech house, fitting seamlessly into Sweep’s curatorial profile.

On Side A, the original mix of “Makes Me Feel” establishes a steady groove from the very beginning, gaining depth through layered percussion and dense pads. A recurring vocal clip builds tension until, around the midpoint, the voice breaks into a fragmented stream of scattered words over the rolling bass, culminating in a call-and-response of fading voices—a hypnotic passage that positions the track as a pure underground groove. The flip side features Edward (Giegling) with a remix that takes the material in a darker, more angular direction: He extracts the “Make me feel” motif and recasts it as a recurring element, adding layer after layer to heighten the original’s dynamics and atmospheric nuance. This 12-inch is clearly tailored for dance-floor use while also serving as a statement of the production partnership between O.Bee and Cem G.

Back in! Repressing of Larry Heard's return into the spotlight with another classic release after all those years! A fantastic 12 presenting the gifted Memphis based vocalist Mr. White (aka Chad White). 'You Rock Me' is a soulful affair, created to be timeless, while 'The Sun Can't Compare' is a fun play with vocals over a typical Larry Heard acid track. Must have for all fans of good house music!!

The “25 Years Visitor Part 2” 12" by Asad Rizvi / Smithmonger was released by Visitor and presents itself as a split release that brings together two highly sought-after cuts from the Belgian label’s early creative period. The release is part of a broader tribute to the early Visitor era, shaped by label head Fred Nasen, which connected the Belgian scene with the sound coming out of London.

Asad Rizvi’s contribution, “Smiling At The Sun,” stands for those warm, Chicago-influenced house structures that at the same time carry London’s stripped-back, tracky sensibility: a slowly evolving groove with carefully placed percussion and melodic elements that recalls Rizvi’s work for the Reverberations series. The production emphasizes space, subtle dynamics, and an unhurried yet precise build that leaves plenty of room for both DJs and listeners.

On the B-side, Smithmonger delivers a dry, sharply defined house track with “Vinegar Stroke”: technically sophisticated in its arrangement, with a clear, driving bass line and a laconic, almost mischievous tone that hints at its roots in classical instrumental training. Paul Smith’s path from studying trumpet to producing underground house is reflected in the fine balance between musical craftsmanship and club-ready directness.

The "Beyond The Veil" 12" by Altinbas, released on Ostgut Ton, brings together five carefully crafted tracks that can be understood as an expedition through otherworldly sonic spaces. Altinbas, who has been performing at Berghain on a regular basis since his debut, deepens his work on detailed ambience on this release, combining propulsive rhythms with blossoming synth motifs. The title track serves as a guiding thread through the set, establishing the premise of a conceptual dialog between artist and space.

Musically, "Beyond The Veil" moves between a reduced, tonally refined techno aesthetic and minimal, house-leaning moments, featuring airy textures, hypnotic lead lines, and a tangible inclination toward dubby, atmospheric soundscapes. Tracks like "Charming the Cosmic Snake" work with long arcs of harmonic tension, while the closing "Antichamber" pulls back the rhythmic drive to shape a dreamy, almost meditative final sequence. With solid percussion and organically flowing arrangements, the tracks are designed equally for intense club contexts and focused listening situations. On "Beyond The Veil," Altinbas draws on his proven command of space and dynamics to present a coherent, emotionally charged EP that further consolidates his position as a composer of focused, dance-oriented pieces.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ongaku 1” 12" on DDS appears here as a 2026 pressing in an edition of 500 copies and has been mastered by Rashad Becker. The release marks Atobe’s third 12" since his 2001 Chain Reaction debut and coincides with the tenth anniversary of his first DDS album, “Butterfly Effect”; additional editing and mixes come from Miles ov Demdike Stare. With it, DDS launches a new series of limited 12-inch releases in which Atobe subtly develops his signature sound while at the same time probing a stronger sub-bass focus.

Musically, the record’s A-side features “Ongaku 1,” a shimmering, classic-leaning deep house cut that combines delicate ornamentation with precisely sculpted kicks. Feathery dub chords and dark string passages create recurring goosebump moments, while fine details open up in the upper registers. The B-side, “Dub 6(six),” unfolds a psychedelic weave of arpeggios and synth voices, given extra depth by a more forceful bass undercarriage before the kicks set the whole thing swinging on a broader scale. Taken as a whole, “Ongaku 1” sees Shinichi Atobe combine his familiar stripped-back framework with new shadings, yielding some of his most immediate and enduring work.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ship-Scope” 12" as released on DDS returns as a 2026 pressing in a limited run of 500 copies, remastered from vinyl by Matt Colton. This edition foregrounds the familiar connection between warm dub techno feeling and stripped-back, minimal production, amounting to a precise, carefully updated reappraisal of the piece.

Originally issued on Chain Reaction in 2001, “Ship-Scope” is characterized by an unusually dreamy tonality that sets it apart from many releases of the time; the DDS version brings this dreamy, almost lost-at-sea atmosphere even more clearly to the fore. Especially striking is the dense sense of space and the slowly building tension that turns tracks like “The Red Line” into defining moments of the release.

With this reissue, DDS continued the curatorial work that brought renewed attention to Shinichi Atobe after his resurfaced album “Butterfly Effect.” The remaster by Matt Colton preserves the organic character of the original recordings without smoothing out their fragile texture, making the “Ship-Scope” 12" on DDS a relevant addition for collectors and admirers of the romantic side of deep and dub techno.

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene. This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene. "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno" was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium.

The unconscious element to the conscious process. The practice of dub techno and its tendrils is a fundamental for me, both aesthetically and from an engineering perspective. I start every recording session with a dub inspired jam, the first piece I ever recorded in 1996 was an effort to recreate Phylyps Trak with only a Korg X3 and an Ibanez Pue5 (borrowed from Gary Howell). It was an awesome introduction to jamming, and the footing stones of noise, delay and saturation were explored with my foot hard on the enthusiasm pedal. These practice jams are in some sense cathartic, the first step taken again & again, which helps me move forwards each session and additionally helps to 'warm the circuits' both of myself and the machines. After realising the genius of Basic Channel is akin to the genius of peasant food, using every ingredient with nothing left to waste, (up to and including the oft maligned working noise of the machines themselves), this was a watershed moment for my own subjective progression. No longer tied to just emulation of something inspiring, but taking these learned tools into other areas of music helped to break free from a strong current of influence and also to progress into other areas with the new toolbox. Dub: The importance of the dub pioneers should never be understated, in modern music and my own practice. Yet with my initial inspiration being two german dudes issuing extreme techno variants with obscured label designs, who then signposted their listeners to their own inspirations (via their Wackies re-issues or nodded to on their Rhythm & Sound/Burial Mix sub-labels), meant that I started late and travelled backwards. Learning to notice the live mixing of Mikey Dread or Lee Perry when the faders are bleeding through even when turned down, (echoed in BC's Quadrant Dub), or the brash send effects literally thrown into the mix also taught me that 'rough' mixing can inject a recording with life, uniqueness and the most right wrongness. Looking back Basic Channels very few elements helped me realise that the rules to be understood, are also the best ones to be broken. Push the mixer into the red. Amp that noise up from the tape delay cos it sounds sick. Pseudo side-chain effects cos the kicks are way too loud and the mixer can't sum it nicely. Spam the send knob into the delay units now, now and now. Carelessness. Noise: Once I wrapped my head around the intrinsic 'noise' element that set those records apart, this became a torchlight into the alt noise movements which I was tentatively exploring at the time, and also is evidently a connection or thread into them. Whether the Industrial/Post Punk UK scene (This Heat, TG, A Tent, F.E.) or the prolific output of the US Noise scene (Wolf Eyes, Live & Shave in LA, and subsequently following the lineage all the way back to Chrome's Alien Soundtracks), I had finally discovered a connection from techno to this 'free for all' corner of music. This input from the Noise arena of sound is, in my experience, an all important step for a sonic artist, taking it's roots and extending out from Stockhausen/Pierre Henry and utilised/warped/mangled by thousands of adventurous pioneers ever since, I now see the line separating the high brow and the low brow is actually an artery carrying information from the head to the heart. Vault is a selection of these jams that precede each of my solo recording sessions, for 30 years I've recorded hundreds of these 'workouts'. They are never intended as serious statements, just moments of naive enjoyment, yet most importantly they are time & space captured as practice. The objective is always a warm up exercise, but sometimes those exercises turn a different corner, with a certain focus or direction dependent on what random samples are left in my machines from the previous session, instead of conscious choices, these unconscious elements can facilitate those 'positive mistakes' that make a piece of sound retain a different feel or colour and thus become special, or at least special to the creator. I am quite conscious that the 'record everything' aspect of my ethos has been invaluable in cataloguing and saving these jams, while the attitude of carelessness during this process (after all, it's only a warm up jam) invites more enjoyment than seriousness ever could. Even if you don't feel the piece at the time, record it, because some years later it may well fit, or become relevant in a way you never intended. -Miles Mastered by Miles, cut by Rashad Becker. Art by Lucas Dupuy.

The “Utility” LP by Barker is released on Ostgut Ton and consistently continues the dance-oriented spirit of experimentation he began on his debut EP “Debiasing.” A Berghain resident and co-founder of Leisure System, Barker playfully links club-ready structures with an exploratory approach to rhythm, harmony, and timbre on this debut LP. Across nine tracks, he probes the balance between immediate dancefloor impact and a deliberately stripped-back, genre-associated instrumentation; bass and percussive impulses function less as genre markers than as elements of a deliberate compositional intent.

Musically, Barker relies heavily on modular synthesis, self-built mechanical instruments, and plate reverbs to shape dense, at times psychedelic vignettes that oscillate between futuristic melodic lines and precisely placed rhythmic figures. In terms of content, “Utility” draws on utilitarian and transhumanist themes — models for quantifying pleasure, ideas of “gradients of happiness,” and the ethical question of minimizing suffering find concrete counterparts in the sound design. The album is not a concept record in the classic sense, but an open, candid experiment: music as a tool for maximizing experience and as a vehicle for consciousness-expanding moments, presented by Barker on Ostgut Ton in uncompromising form.

The compilation “Efflorescence III” has been released as an LP on Project Indigo and presents a curated selection of techno, minimal, and tech house. Project Indigo is a Zurich-based label and collective, founded in 2016, that brings together local and international producers.

The selection combines ambient frequencies with hypnotic beats; tracks such as Lb Honne’s “Six Castles,” Flabaire’s “Summer Sun,” and Boaksi’s “Dream With Me” showcase the spectrum between deep techno, deep house, and ambient house. The contributions range from dense, driving arrangements to finely crafted, atmospheric passages.

All proceeds go toward reforestation projects.

The record also features contributions from Iltaa, Tibi Dabo, Ben Kaczor, Sœnne, Hame, and Hobie, each exploring their own approaches to rhythmic density and ethereal arrangements. The production focuses on fine textures and balanced low end, allowing both the minimal grooves and ambient nuances to stand out clearly.

The "25 Years Visitor Part 1" 12" by Fred Nasen was released on Visitor and inaugurates the newly launched series of original sampler pressings from the label’s catalog. The release brings together three productions that Nasen created with his long-time studio partner Dimitri De Wever, which firmly established the label’s characteristic, groove-oriented sound at an early stage.

The A-side features two tightly knit tracks, "Landcruising" and "Static," distinguished by striking melodic basslines and stripped-back, dancefloor-focused arrangements. On the B-side you’ll find "Sunday Visitor (A Visit From The Mingers)," an almost eight-minute remix by UK producers The Mingers that pushes the track into elongated, hypnotic peak-time territory and ranks among the most sought-after cuts in the Visitor archive.

Fred Nasen launched Visitor out of an immediate enthusiasm for the dark, melodic intersection of techno and house that was being shaped in London at nights like Wiggle and The End; his work at N.E.W.S. Records and his support for local parties such as Kozzmozz helped establish the label within the Benelux scene. In its first decade, Visitor remained known for a clear, club-oriented aesthetic and released more than forty records during that period.

Released on Front Line Frequency, the “Sounds From The Front Line” 12" by Grant Dell brings together four tracks from his back catalog, produced between 2002 and 2005 and now available for the first time collectively on one record. The selection centers on the rolling house groove that brought Grant Dell attention in the early 2000s, channeling that energy into a compact 12" format.

The A-side features “So Good,” originally released on Jay Tripwire’s Spaced Out imprint, as well as “Acid Bubble Baby” featuring DJ Deano, which first appeared on Stupendous; the B-side offers a reissue of the Chicago Transit Authority cut “Still Disillusioned” and “Be Good Tonight,” originally released on Cove Records. All tracks are written and produced by Grant Dell, with the sole exception of the A2 collaboration with DJ Deano; for this edition, the tracks were remastered by Justin Drake. The compilation makes the origins of the tracks clearly audible, linking early releases with an updated sonic presentation and underscoring Front Line Frequency’s focus on Dell’s distinctive club cuts.

Per Hammar returns to his own Dirty Hands imprint with the four-track ‘Ontario EP’, once again showcasing his raw, robust and groove-led style.

Swedish producer and DJ Per Hammar has steadily carved out a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary underground electronic music. As the founder of the acclaimed Dirty Hands imprint, Hammar has built a platform synonymous with deep, groove-led and uncompromising club music, while other productions have found homes on some of the scene's most respected labels including Sushitech, Kalahari Oyster Cult and Craigie Knowes. Here we see him returning to his own home and delivering stripped-back late-night tools, psychedelic excursions and deep, hypnotic dancefloor journeys.

Title cut ‘Ontario’ leads with crisp, crunchy drums alongside dubby bass tones, fluttering stab sequences and intricate modulations. ‘Off Disk’ follows with organic percussion, weighty sub-bass and delayed melodies. ‘Oops All Sixes’ moves into acid-tinged House territory, while ‘Airex’ closes with oscillating percussion, a snaking low-end pulse and airy chords.

The “Krux” LP by Vril is released on Delsin and marks a deliberate change of direction: on this 13-track album, Vril expands his familiar, dub-driven sonic foundation into a densely layered electronic sound and, for the first time, brings several close collaborations to the forefront. Five tracks were created together with Aurora Halal, Verraco, René Wise, AZARI, and ATEQ, causing the album’s structure to oscillate between atmospheric, rhythmically offset moments and sharply defined, driving arrangements; the advance track “Signum Ex Auro” serves as an example that sketches out this balance. Vril’s compositional fingerprint remains central throughout: subtle delay architectures, deep bass spaces, and modular textures that merge generations of analog and digital sounds.

Beyond its musical direction, “Krux” also puts a strong emphasis on its presentation: the artwork once again comes from Daniel Martin Diaz, the layout is handled by Erris Huigens, and the lacquer cut was done by Andreas Kauffelt; the release is distributed via Clone Distribution. For vinyl buyers there is a standard 2xLP edition as well as a limited version, with the exact vinyl configuration—and the note that the track “Rack Rash” is not included on the record—remaining part of the physical package. With its combination of collaborative tracks, artful visual language, and Vril’s clear production signature, “Krux” positions itself on Delsin as a distinctive electronic statement LP.

The "Yyyyyyyyy" 12" by Picture is released on P-Ton and clearly positions itself in the Basic Channel / dub techno sphere: stripped-down, channel-focused arrangements meet expansive pads and precisely placed delay reflections that lend the tracks a sense of space and depth. The pieces are defined by clear, economical structures dominated by grooving bass frequencies and cool, almost metallic chords, with the production relying on subtle modulations and echo effects.

Picture is a pseudonym of Danish producer Natal Zaks, also known as Central, who has been active for years in the orbit of Regelbau, Help, and related labels; his work moves between house, ambient textures, and a sober, club-focused minimalism that also comes through in this project. This background explains the fine balance between DJ-friendliness and an atmospheric focus that shapes the release.

Executed as a hand-stamped 12", the record underscores the limited, vinyl-specific character of the release; the pressing comes on black vinyl and translates the sonic image cleanly. The record thus offers a focused presentation of contemporary dub techno that relies less on flashy gimmicks than on sonic precision and subtle dynamics.

Across the 12", Downside keeps the material tight and layers moods that work both in DJ sets and in focused dance floor moments. The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias, released on Vakum, combines striking techno patterns with stripped-down minimal structures and a pronounced tech house drive. Matthias uses pinpoint percussion, wide filtered pads, and subtle modular sequences to shape dense, trance-like spaces in which a pared-back groove and textural details coexist on equal footing. Vakum frames the release as a focused 12" where carefully placed breaks and a deliberately sparse bassline balance the kinetic tension between dance floor energy and more reflective undertones.

The conceptual framework of the release is narrative in nature: “In a world where the sea had swallowed every shore, humanity lived upon small floating platforms, drifting like fallen leaves across an endless blue. Beneath the waves slept the ruins of the old world, silent and forgotten. One day, a young merchant sailo”. This imagery finds its way into the arrangements by integrating melancholic melodic fragments and open sonic spaces that evoke long-lost coastlines and wide stretches of water. The “Atoll Map” 12" by Matthias on Vakum thus offers both clear club suitability and atmospheric depth, showcasing the artistic signature of a producer who combines a minimal approach with a hypnotic effect.

Released on Nord LTD, the “Questions EP” 12" by Shkedul and Marco Mellere presents the second installment in the NORD EDIT series and is issued as a limited-edition 12" vinyl. The release focuses on edited versions of previously unreleased jam recordings from the early-2000s progressive house and tech house period. The production relies on careful tightening and reorganization of the original material, translating familiar motifs into stripped-back, club-ready arrangements that foreground both rhythmic precision and subtle shifts in texture.

Musically, the “Questions EP” combines the structural clarity of techno with the groove and arrangement-minded thinking of the early house era; the original jam-driven impetus and melodic fragments are retained, while the edits render the tracks format-ready for DJ use. As a chapter within the NORD EDIT series, the release places a clear emphasis on historical references and editing techniques rather than on reworks in the classic remix sense, making the EP a precise statement within Shkedul’s label work.

The Three Rituals 12" by Jotel, released on Magicwire, presents three precisely crafted tracks: “Laugele,” “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” and “Blinking Eyes.” The release relies on stripped-back structures and a clear emphasis on rhythm and sequence, with Jotel working carefully with layering and subtle modulations. Each track remains tightly focused in its composition, so that small shifts in dynamics and filtering become tangible and shape the course of each piece.

Begin the Ritual.” This guiding motif runs through the record’s dramaturgy: “Laugele” builds tension through minimalist patterns, “Moonlight (Ritual Mix)” deepens the arrangement with darker, grooving undertones, and “Blinking Eyes” closes with striking percussion figures and pinpoint accents. The music fuses clearly recognizable elements of techno, minimal and tech house into a compact, atmospherically dense sequence. Across the 12", the sound design remains sober and impact-oriented, allowing the tracks to unfold their hypnotic effect. With Three Rituals, Magicwire makes a brief yet distinctive statement; Jotel delivers a focused collection that convinces through reduced arrangements and meticulous pacing.

"Tapes, Dats & Dust" by Triform appears as an LP on Hearlucinate and focuses on electronically driven soundscapes that move between house and techno formats. The title points to an aesthetic that engages with analog recording techniques and tape-like textures; the record maintains a restrained, detail-oriented sonic focus throughout.

Musically, Triform relies on groove-based rhythms, warm synth pads, and precise looping elements, conceived both for club play and for focused listening. The production operates in the space between deep house and techno reference points without lapsing into stylistic clichés.

Behind the name Triform are productions rooted in the underground scene; the artist has previously released on labels such as Deeper Audio Cuts and Is A Feeling and draws on a repertoire of clear, dance-oriented arrangements. This background also shapes the approach to the compositions on this LP.

As a release within the Hearlucinate universe, "Tapes, Dats & Dust" fits into a label aesthetic that has grown out of a party series and a curated release program; the record emphasizes meticulous production details and the use of analog studio equipment setups, as already evident on earlier Triform releases.

Dialog’s “Symbol Of The Land” LP is released on Kynant and marks the duo’s move toward a deliberately beat-driven full-length, expanding their previously ambient and dub-oriented approaches into more strongly rhythm-focused arrangements. Dialog, the production and performance project of Helsinki-based Samuel van Dijk and Rasmus Hedlund, combines dub techno aesthetics with a collaborative working method; on “Symbol Of The Land,” this openness to voices and rhythmic traditions becomes a principle that shapes the album’s structure.

The album documents a period of intensive exchange and brings the duo’s studio and live experience into a new balance: precisely placed drums and modulated bass textures merge with spatial processing and occasional vocal interjections, elements already heard in earlier Dialog projects. The production emphasizes textural depth and spatial movement without abandoning dub’s characteristic delay and filtering strategies; instead, these are integrated into functional grooves that open up both club and listening spaces. “Symbol Of The Land” on Kynant reflects Dialog’s intention to translate dubwise sound design into a collaborative, globally oriented album format.

The “Darin 2026 Repress” 12" by Phil Berg is released on Mutual Rytm and documents a repressing of the Dārin material originally issued on the label.

Within the Berlin scene, Phil Berg is known for a dark, dense techno style characterized by meticulous sound edits, rising tension, and clear, ergonomic production; these attributes also shape this 12". His work operates at the intersection of club focus and atmospheric composition, grounded in experience as a DJ and in improvisational live performances.

Musically, the record brings together driving, rhythmically focused tracks ranging from punchy basslines to hypnotic synth pads. Featured pieces include “Dārin,” “Tempest,” “Tanoo,” “Mephisto,” and “Destiny Bond”; digital bonus cuts like “Seiko” and “Nyx” expand the set in the online editions. The arrangements rely on targeted density and dynamic breaks, allowing individual motifs to unfold with maximum impact.

For DJs, the 12" offers concise, easily integrable tracks with a clean low-end focus and explicitly club-ready functionality; at the same time, Phil Berg’s distinctive sound remains recognizable away from the dancefloor.

The “Carcosa” 12" released on Sublunar marks the label debut of the German duo Disguised and introduces a compact seven-track EP that fuses classic techno forms with a restrained minimal and tech house sensibility. Disguised, founders of the Berlin label INHERIT, follow recent outings on imprints like Mutual Rytm with a production that deliberately leans on driving drums and hypnotic melodic arcs, clearly geared toward club play in both sound design and mix.

Sublunar and label heads like Sciahri present “Carcosa” as a focused ride through evolving tension arcs: stripped-back arrangements build pressure via subtle modulations and percussive details, while restrained synth leads provide atmosphere. The EP highlights the duo’s ability to generate varied energy within a tight framework, offering both DJ-friendly tools and stylistic nuance. For listeners who appreciate the overlap of precise techno, minimal aesthetics, and dance-oriented house, “Carcosa” makes a clear statement and extends the Sublunar catalog with a release that works as well in DJ sets as it does in a concentrated listen from start to finish.

The 12" “Omakase 002,” released on Omakase, brings together Traumer and Antraum, the joint project by Anton and Traumer, and is slated for a vinyl repress in 2026. With this release, Omakase reaffirms its early direction: after the quick sell-out of the debut, the label follows up with another clear statement single. The edition documents the close collaboration between the two producers and brings together three precisely arranged tracks suited both to club sets and focused home listening.

Musically, “Omakase 002” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house; intricate grooves provide the backbone while dense soundscapes add atmosphere. The A-side, “Hachi,” functions as a striking opener, driven by coherent basslines and subtle modulations. On the B-side, “Roko” and “San” deliver varied complements that round out the record’s concept: precise percussion, a restrained approach to melody, and carefully placed effects create spaces in which individual elements clearly stand out. With this 12", Omakase stays true to its line, once again presenting club-oriented, thoughtfully crafted tracks that appeal to both DJs and collectors interested in conceptual electronic music.

The "Aretha's Reign" 12" by Harold Heath is released on Curated By Time and brings together the three tracks originally issued on Sensei in a reissued club format. This new edition shines a light on an early chapter of Heath’s work and makes the record accessible again for both DJs and collectors.

Musically, the release is exemplary of early‑2000s British tech house: precise, loop‑based grooves, clean, cutting drums, and a restrained, effective production style that leaves room for subtle shifts. Harold Heath is characterized by a functional, club‑oriented approach; he wrote and produced the tracks himself, which explains the consistent coherence of the sound aesthetic.

The 12" features the tracks "Aretha's Reign," "Snake Eyes," and "Somebody," each one striking a balanced blend of punch and restraint that stands out on the dance floor for its suitability for DJ sets and ease of mixing. As a reissue on Curated By Time, these early tracks return in a contemporary context and reaffirm Harold Heath’s position within the UK house scene.

The *Terminus Jungle* 10" by Natural Goofy and Shkedul is a self-release and continues their series of white label pressings with a low-key presentation. The release comes as a 10" white label, limited and available exclusively on vinyl; a repress is not planned. One side is by Natural Goofy and the other by Shkedul – different routes to the same destination – with the clear note “From you, back to you” and a quantity rule that limits the number of copies available per customer.

Musically, *Terminus Jungle* moves within the tension field between techno, minimal, and tech house; Natural Goofy and Shkedul each deliver their own distinct takes on this framework. The four-handed concept is built around two complementary approaches: one side takes the listener into the late hours, when perception shifts, while the other follows an alternative yet aligned path. In this way, Natural Goofy and Shkedul create a deliberately stripped-back, moment-focused release on the *Terminus Jungle* 10" that places the club context and the night at its center, underscoring the character of a direct, limited self-release.

The “Bipolar Loops” 12" released on Trance Pandemic by Kurilo comes across as a consistent foray into the intersections of techno, minimal, and tech house, relying on a clear, stripped-down sense of drama. A new pandemic is making its way to you — from New York to Berlin, the release brings a chill and precision befitting its title; the material feels both timeless and immediate, as if it carried an energy that reaches beyond club nights.

Sonically, “Bipolar Loops” leans on deep bass foundations, hypnotic patterns, and finely nuanced percussive figures that gradually build and pull the listener ever deeper into the constructed atmosphere. The arrangements work with repetitive loops and sparse melodic flashes, creating tension through reduction while keeping the groove fully effective. Kurilo’s production maintains a balanced relationship between impact and space, allowing individual elements to unfold their effect on large sound systems just as well as in more intimate settings.

The "Versus 003" 12" released on Mutual Rytm by Kameliia and BLANKA continues the Versus series, bringing together a debut EP from each producer on a shared record. The compilation follows the sub-label’s concept of pairing artists on a 12" and foregrounds a clear, club-focused intent. "Versus 003" functions as a concentrated calling card, providing both DJs and fans of the label’s signature sound aesthetic with immediate tools for their sets.

Musically, the release leans into a dark, immersive direction in which stripped-back rhythms, precise percussion, and heavy basslines leave room for atmospheric textures. Kameliia and BLANKA expand on ideas they previously sketched on the compilation "Federation Of Rytm IV": Kameliia’s contribution "Parallel Realities" and BLANKA’s "I Choose You" act as audible harbingers of the now fully developed EPs. The production emphasizes tight structures and subtle sonic details, so that individual elements reveal new facets with repeated listening. With "Versus 003," Mutual Rytm reinforces its steadfast curatorial approach to Techno / Minimal / Tech-House and presents, in Kameliia and BLANKA, two voices that both complement and push the Versus concept forward.

"Röntgen" is Ø's (aka Mika Vainio) subliminal minimal techno classic, originally featured on the first Sähkö Recordings release in 1993. Spatial, silvery-sharp and reduced yet frenetic, it is a blueprint of drum-machine and synth work that helped redefine an era in techno. This special-edition 12" also features a full-side cut of a previously unreleased Ø track from 1995. The untitled B-side uses minimal Tr-808 and acidic synthesis but introduces a subtle warm melody towards the end. This 12" is cut with loud volume for excellent club use.

The "Msp03" 12" by Marco Shuttle is released on Marco Shuttle Productions and brings together two tracks clearly aimed at the dancefloor. The release relies on a strict 4/4 pulse and takes its cues from Italian progressive house of the early 1990s, with the arrangement deliberately bridging House and Techno.

Musically, grooving basslines, tribal‑tinged percussion and hypnotic soundscapes define the four sides of the record in condensed form; the tracks work with repetitive motifs and subtle builds that leave DJs room for seamless transitions. The compact two‑tracker format underscores the material’s directness and its suitability for extended club sets, without sacrificing atmospheric depth.

With "Msp03," Marco Shuttle continues the trajectory of his own label series and connects to previous installments, further sharpening his characteristic blend of ritualistic rhythms and electronic precision. The release appears as a consistent extension of the label and is aimed at DJs and listeners who seek the intersection of House groove and technoid texture.

The pressing is specified as clear vinyl; the edition is labeled Collectors Edition and is issued in a limited run.

Musically, on "Between Two Worlds" Oscar Mulero works with extended formal developments and carefully tuned arrangements that operate within the spectrum between techno, minimal, and tech-house. All compositions were written and produced by Oscar Mulero; mastering was handled by Carlos Koschitzky at Koschitzky Studio, Gijón. The artwork is by Pelayo Zurrón, with layout designed by A/E. With this LP, Semantica presents another chapter in Mulero's discreet, precise work on rhythmic layering and atmospheric textures, continuing the artist's engagement with clearly contoured electronic soundscapes. His sound is characterized by precise percussion, clear arrangements, and a clear focus on the dance floor, while still leaving room for subtle melodic elements. Luigi Madonna has worked with renowned labels and has repeatedly released records that resonate both in major clubs and in more specialized sets. This 12" joins that artistic panorama and offers a tightly focused selection of tracks that showcase Madonna’s ability to pair techno‑driven hardness with a keen, form‑conscious sense of dynamics, further sharpening his artistic signature.

The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe is being released on DDS as a 2026 repress, bringing back the elusive album by an artist who has been puzzling listeners ever since his early Chain Reaction releases. DDS is reissuing the work and thus putting this collection of archival and new material back in the spotlight; the re-release directly points to Atobe’s unique run across two decades of electronic production.

Musically, “Butterfly Effect” remains an idiosyncratic chapter somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house: the record opens with a dragging, almost syrupy opener, moves on to a nine-minute, precisely crafted piano house piece, and then dives into dense, drone-like passages. The compositions combine sparse rhythms with textured sonics and contain small but unmistakable signatures that lend the album its timeless aura. The fact that Demdike Stare and the wider DDS circle were the driving force behind its release and reappraisal is reflected in the selection and careful cohesion of the tracks. The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe on DDS thus remains a densely documentary yet enigmatic entry in his discography, whose 2026 reissue once again highlights the special quality of this material.

The “Rienda Suelta” 12" by Varo brings together four tracks that mark the debut of Álvaro Arellano’s new solo project: “sin pensar,” “rienda suelta,” “el destello,” and “punto ciego.”

The pieces move in the intersection of house, breaks, and techno‑leaning influences, with trancey elements and a restrained yet palpable energy forming the common thread. Sonically, the EP focuses on stripped‑back, detail‑rich sound design and precise arrangements that work both in the club and in more intimate listening settings.

“Rienda Suelta” reads as a snapshot of a transition: the material emerged from instinct and introspection while remaining deeply connected to the dance floor. This tension between personal reflection and dance‑oriented focus gives the tracks an immediate, unforced presence.

The EP documents a creative process that has taken shape over the past months and culminates in a clearly defined, concise articulation of musical influences and experiences. For listeners interested in carefully crafted club forms with emotional depth, this release offers a compact, assured entry point into Varo’s work.

Skyra, Hamatsuki, and BMI represent the Georgian scene, while Orion from Italy and Shjva from Ukraine round out the lineup; the compilation places these regional focal points in relation to one another, creating a direct dialogue between Tbilisi, Italy, and the Ukrainian scene.

Musically, the 12-inch encompasses atmospheric, driving tracks that combine elements of minimal, tech house, and techno-inflected structures. Notable examples include Skyra & Hamatsuki’s collaboration “Plaintive” and Orion’s “Cerulean Cave,” complemented by BMI’s “High connection” and SHJVA’s “Global,” which establish the tone of the release. The production emphasizes pared-back arrangements, modular soundscapes, and focused rhythms, making the record feel equally suited to club play and concentrated listening on vinyl. In doing so, Morevi continues its curatorial work, bringing local acts into a cross-border context.

Released on Alt Dub, the “Random Layers” 12" by Gradient relies on reduction and precision, showing the producer in an especially focused form. Gradient works here with a deliberately lean palette of kick, bass, chords, and texture, so that each layer eases in gently and the tracks gain depth over time. Nothing feels superfluous; instead, subtle shifts and precisely placed layers create an immersive sense of space and expansiveness.

The EP comprises four dub techno tracks that combine classic atmospheres with a strong sense of detail; patience and sound control shape the flow and dynamics of the cuts. Especially noteworthy is a timeless remix by CV313 (Echospace Detroit), which pushes the existing sense of space even further and lends the release an additional, familiar density. Gradient remains elegantly restrained throughout: every sound source serves a clear purpose, and the arrangements reveal their full impact only with repeated listening.

With “Random Layers,” Alt Dub delivers a release that underscores both the strengths of the label and Gradient’s artistic signature. This 12" stands out with calm, atmospheric dramaturgy and a meticulous precision that makes minimalism feel rich and alive.

The Orange Transparent Vinyl Edition of “The Age Of Love” 12" by Age Of Love was released on DiKi and brings the three most distinctive reworks of the classic together on one record: the legendary Jam & Spoon “Watch Out For Stella” Mix, the rendition by Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano, and Solomun’s Renaissance Remix. This compilation presents different phases and perspectives of the track in a compact format, making the 12" a functional release for DJs and collectors looking for a focused selection of prominent remixes.

The selection on the DiKi release emphasizes both continuity and renewal: the Jam & Spoon mix appears in a revised 2021 master version, while the versions by Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano and Solomun each reflect the production techniques of their respective eras. Age Of Love had already written and released its namesake hit in 1990; this 12" references that legacy without flattening the distinct character of the individual remixes. Technically situated within techno, minimal, and tech house, the record offers a direct link between early trance heritage and contemporary club production.

The 12" “From The Front” by Mr. G, released on the P. G. label, documents a stripped-down approach conceived directly for the club and brings together three gritty cuts that oscillate between techno, minimal, and tech house. The “From The Front” 12", catalog number PG078, positions itself as a compact record for sets, on which Mr. G unfolds his characteristic sense of rhythm and crisp percussion arrangements within a deliberately no-frills sound palette.

The record features the tracks “G's Underground Rub,” “Mr. G And Dance,” and “Mr. G Atlanta On One,” each built around lean, driving grooves and given character by economical basslines and occasional vocal snippets. The release is described by the label as stripped-back and rough; physically, it appears as 180g vinyl with a hand stamp, giving the edition a consciously handcrafted feel. “From The Front” thus delivers three DJ‑friendly tracks distinguished by reduced arrangements and a focus on pulse and momentum.

With the 12" "Nebulas Dream," released on A.2aum, Cryme presents the next level of his creativity while largely remaining true to his style. The Berlin producer and DJ combines vocal-driven tracks with a distinctly classic sonic approach, with warm basslines and crisp percussion carrying the rhythm. His arrangements are characterized by clear structures and a fine balance between groove and atmosphere; vocal fragments are used as melodic leitmotifs, giving the tracks an immediate sense of intimacy. Cryme works with a restrained level of detail that leaves room for dynamic build-ups while preserving an intimate tonal quality. As a result, his releases work equally well in a club setting and for focused listening at home. "Nebulas Dream" falls squarely within this spectrum and highlights Cryme’s feel for timeless danceability and a subtle producer’s signature.

The “Wjlb Tracks” 12" by Rhythim Is Rhythim is released on their own Rhythim Is Rhythim label as a one-sided pressing and serves as a brief historical document of Derrick May’s DJ practice. The roughly 14:12-long mix was originally put together in 1989 as a special “Mayday Mix” for a radio show on WJLB, performed live on keyboards, and links unreleased versions of classics such as “Nude Photo 88” and “Strings Of Life” into a seamless opening that reflects May’s approach to DJ sets at the time.

The released material is based on an off-air recording made by a listener that later entered Richie Hawtin’s archive, where he preserved it; this recording has been carefully restored and, with the artist’s approval, mastered. The A-side is cut as one continuous track and visually divided into eight segments, while the flip side features a custom laser etching. With “Wjlb Tracks,” Rhythim Is Rhythim presents a compact, editorially annotated edition of that broadcast montage, which is equally significant for collectors and for those interested in historically important moments in the development of Detroit techno.

The “Omakase 001 2026 Repress” by Antraum (Traumer & Anton) appears as a 12-inch release on the Omakase label and brings together the collaboration between the two producers in compact form. The record collects the tracks “Ichi,” “go (le porc du havre)” and “ju,” and in this edition is shipped without the original sleeve, marking it as a collector’s item with reduced packaging.

Musically, the release moves within a spectrum between deep house, house, and stripped-back club music. Characteristic elements include a deeply centered low-end foundation, acid-like textures, and the targeted use of vocal samples that lend the tracks a sound that is both psychedelic and soulful. The arrangements rely on subtle modulations and rhythmic reduction, allowing the pieces to unfold their full effect both in DJ sets and in focused listening.

Behind the project are Traumer, a mainstay within the Yoyaku camp, and the up-and-coming Anton, who produce together under the name Antraum. Their joint exploration of minimalist structures and nuanced groove defines the profile of the Omakase label and makes this repress a clear statement within the current house scene.

"John Beltran joins forces with Ireland’s Intrinsic Rhythm for a masterclass in emotional Detroit Techno with his "Roots EP" featuring a deep & soulful remix from Fireground.

Few names command the same reverence in electronic music as John Beltran. Since pioneering the more melodic, ambient-soaked textures of Detroit techno in the 1990s and 00s, the Michigan producer has spent over three decades crafting electronic music with an unmistakable human soul.

For his latest outing, Beltran links up with Irish imprint Intrinsic Rhythm for a physical and digital release after previously providing a remix for Ir004 . The A1 "My Faith In You" is a perfect distillation of his signature sound: lush, cinematic chord progressions, propulsive rhythm arrangements, and that deep-running emotive warmth that makes his catalog timeless and this continues on the A2 with "Gratiot" a timeless piece of Deep Detroit Techno with a shuffling groove and precise tones and textures.

Sharpening the edge of the package is a stellar remix from dynamic Italian duo Fireground. Known for their driving, soulful and rich sound on labels like Tresor and Ilian Tape, Fireground adds a deeper more textured version of "Gratiot" and reconstructs it into a sun drenched musically rich remix. Together, the release forms a beautiful bridge between the two artists."

The “Air To Throne” 12" by Nina, released on Substrata, marks the powerful debut of Stratasonic’s newly founded sub-label and presents the artist with two versions of her track. Here, Substrata is conceived more directly as a sub-label, with the presentation focused on the stripped-down 12" format and on a clear sonic idea that puts Nina at the center. In addition to the original version, the release includes a remix by British producer K‑LONE, who adds a distinctive, more condensed take on the piece.

Musically, “Air To Throne” moves within the realm of dub techno and employs the style’s typical tools: spacious delay units, subtle pad synthesizers, and an emphatically deep bass foundation that interlocks with sparsely used percussion elements. On the record, Nina works with a minimal arrangement and deliberate shifts in texture, giving the compositions both atmosphere and a sense of movement. K‑LONE’s remix opens the track up in a denser, more club-ready direction without flattening the meditative qualities of the original version. “Air To Throne” on Substrata showcases a precise, sound-focused treatment of the dub techno framework and positions Nina and the label alike as serious players within the contemporary electronic scene.

The 12" release "Altering Illusions" on echospace [detroit] brings together five timeless pieces from the body of work of cv313 and adds an almost otherworldly dub version of a radius project. Almost all of the tracks are making their vinyl debut here; this edition draws on material that originally appeared as a 4×12" limited set and is now presented in newly remastered form. This version was remastered and cut by Stefan Betke (POLE) at Scape Mastering in Berlin, which brings out the analog depths of the recordings with particular clarity.

Musically, "Altering Illusions" moves at the intersection of deep electronic music, subharmonic space travel and a stripped-down techno aesthetic; cv313 combines warm modular textures with dense, buzzing drones and sparse rhythmic pulses that oscillate between meditative vastness and harsh analog density. The release clearly bears the project’s signature: a leaning toward organic-sounding soundscapes and a preference for minimalist yet impactful evolutions in sound.

The production credits list Stephen Hitchell for sound design, mixing and engineering; specific tracks were also worked on by Ron Murphy as well as Jamal Wallace and Mark Richardson, complemented by modular sketches from N.S. The combination of the original production at Echospace (Chicago/Detroit) and this new edition makes this 12" a connecting chapter within the cv313 universe.

Harry McCanna is a DJ and producer who might be known to you for his role in running NorthSouth records for nine years with Sam Bangura and Dale Mussington, as well as staffing the decks across the capital for at least a decade and half and taking up a residency at fabric when we came out of lockdown in 2021. Here, he launches a new label, focussed on "the hypnotic, trippy, steady side of things," with his first release under his own name, having released his productions under the Henry Hyde moniker since 2015. Hypnotic it may be, but it's not lacking either in sonic imagination - check the shimmering guitar trimmings, frothy pecussion and vocal flashes of 'A Temporarily Happy Man' - or funkiness, with the basslines to 'Stand & Deliver' and 'Red Moon' the very essence of prodding urgency. Add some sparing but very effective use of neatly edited breakbeats - see the economic propulsion of 'Hard To Leave' - and you've got four track that will slip into the mix very smoothly but come with their own distinctive personality.

The "Moving Pressure 07" 12" by Rene Wise is released on Moving Pressure. The release fits into the label concept, which is set up as a platform for exploring the dialogue between sound system music and the human body; sound and pressure are therefore just as central as stripped-back arrangements and their physical impact.

Musically, Rene Wise focuses on a reduced, hypnotic form of techno: percussive grooves, driving bass foundations, and subtle sound layers create constant forward momentum, where small rhythmic shifts have a big effect. The approach is geared toward precision and space, making the tracks equally suited to club play and powerful sound system sets.

Rene Wise has established Moving Pressure as his own imprint and uses the series to bring together the accumulated ideas behind his production approach. The "Moving Pressure" releases are characterized by restrained yet punchy production, with sound design and groove at the forefront and an emphasis on the physical impact of playback. This 12" continues the label’s stated aim and presents Wise’s signature within a stringent, techno-driven sonic framework.

The "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" LP by Steffi was released on Dekmantel Records and marks the producer’s fifth solo studio album. Drawing on her many years of club experience, Steffi translates the energy of the dance floor into a series of clear, purposeful arrangements centered around what she calls the “Feel Factor” – that moment when DJ, music, and dancing crowd come together. The record emerged from a conceptual process in which more than forty ideas were distilled down to nine tracks that deliberately aim for intensity and directness.

Musically, Steffi combines precise drum programming with airy pads, orchestral strings, and memorable melodies, free of unnecessary ornamentation. The opener, "The Rolling Wave," immediately pulls you into shifting sonic spaces, while the title track wraps you in shimmering rhythms and lush string layers. "Acoustics Of Space" picks up tempo and urgency, driven by propulsive drums and euphoric pad swells that translate the club moment into sound. On Dekmantel, Steffi presents with "Half An Owl And A Full Moon Rising" a focused, club-oriented vision in which production clarity and emotional breadth go hand in hand.

The “Ode Al Sole EP” 12" by Ivan Iacobucci and Stella Fiore, released on Griffe, presents a focused exploration of techno, minimal, and tech house. The tracks rely on minimalist sound design and emphasize precise rhythms, stripped-down percussion, and subtly recurring motifs that put the groove front and center. Through subtle layering of electronic textures, a clear balance emerges between restraint and driving energy.

On the “Ode Al Sole EP,” Ivan Iacobucci and Stella Fiore demonstrate a clear command of arrangement craft: sparse bass figures contrast with pointed synth phrases, while the drum timing keeps the focus tight. The production avoids unnecessary density, opting instead for transparent sounds that unfold their full effect both in the mix and in DJ sets. With this 12", Griffe delivers a carefully crafted release that highlights the stylistic overlap of minimal and tech house while foregrounding the structural rigor of techno. The eponymous EP stands as a precise contribution to the body of work by Ivan Iacobucci and Stella Fiore.

With the W4 12-inch released on Lempuyang, Waage / Feat / Quantal presents the next level of his creativity while, on the whole, staying true to his style. The release slots neatly into the label’s deeper-leaning profile, combining dark, textural soundscapes with a clear focus on driving, reductionist rhythms, as are often found in the label’s electronic output.

Waage is positioned within the techno-leaning spectrum; his tracks usually feature stripped-back arrangements, extended atmospheres, and a pronounced low end that together create a sober yet compelling club aesthetic. This approach runs through his previous releases and tracklists.

The collaboration with Quantal introduces coordinated moments of electronic density and pinpoint melodic inflections, allowing the record to shine in atmospheric passages beyond pure dance-floor orientation. Overall, the 12-inch offers a carefully thought-out contribution to the current deep electronic cosmos and blends coherently into Lempuyang’s sonic identity.

The “Astro” double LP by Donato Dozzy is released on Tresor and comes in a gatefold sleeve with download card. Over two sides, Dozzy unfolds a concept that links personal memories of Japanese animated series with his familiar synth architecture. The title piece “Astro” directly references an early sample source taken from a Japanese TV anthem and functions as the central motif of the album.

Musically, on “Astro” Donato Dozzy combines stripped-down, hypnotic structures with precise sound design: tracks like “Raydeen” and “Himika (M Song)” rely on powerful yet restrained arpeggios, while “Pegasu” conjures images of machines lifting off. “Jumbo Crack” was created on an EMS Synthi AKS and works without drums; rising basses and white noise here generate a sensation of takeoff. The eponymous composition “Astro” is based on a children’s song sampled directly for the first time, which serves as its point of departure. The set concludes with “Ryoma (Lò Song),” whose wide, trance-like pads function as a finale. With “Astro,” Tresor presents a focused release in which Donato Dozzy fuses his synthesizer work and his memories of collecting into a coherent whole with a cosmic feel.

The 12" "Incandescence" by Arkajo brings two new tracks to Aniara: "Incandescence" on the A-side, followed by "Writhe" on the B-side. The release explores the interplay between light and shadow; a shimmering, sun-drenched house cut meets a more darkly contoured, drum-driven groover. Both tracks work with forward-driving rhythms and build a propulsive momentum that keeps the arrangements alive.

Musically, Arkajo relies on wide pads, clear chord textures, and a percussive bass foundation that leaves room for fine, glittering details. The A-side feels warm and open, with melodic elements breathing over a solid four-to-the-floor, while the B-side moves in a more direct rhythmic manner, working with accented drums and a darker tonal color. Vocals and samples recede into the background in favor of an instrument-focused club aesthetic.

Arkajo is known as the solo project of a producer well connected in the Swedish scene and as part of the Aniara cosmos, whose releases regularly oscillate between dreamy expansiveness and dance floor-oriented directness. This 12" falls squarely within that spectrum and once again demonstrates the ability to be both atmospheric and functional on the dance floor.

The Moonwake 12-inch released on Mutual Rytm by Sciahri is a seven-track EP that, following his 2014 debut on Ilian Tape, once again places the Italian-Iranian DJ and producer at the center of more restrained strains of club dramaturgy. The release comes as a die-cut sleeve edition on 12-inch vinyl and brings together productions that showcase Sciahri’s way of combining classic club thinking with contemporary sound-design details.

Opening track “Moonwake” is built on sturdy, rumbling drums and layered, gleaming synths that generate a clear sense of futuristic tension. “Liminal” leans on playful, musical percussion and synth-driven twists, while “Night Sentinel” transitions into a restless, almost uncanny sonic world; sonar-like pulses and ghostly pads here sustain a constant feeling of unease.

With “Unmoved,” Sciahri delivers a heavyweight, kick-driven cut that gains extra heft from howling synth gusts. Final piece “Too Much Time” closes the EP with a body-shaking groove. The digital bonus tracks “Silent Frontier” and “Louisiana” expand the set with backlit synth washes on the one hand and psychedelic-tinged, pounding rhythms on the other. Overall, Moonwake on Mutual Rytm presents a precisely produced collection that offers both DJ-ready energy and textural depth.

The "Ep1" 12" by The Sentinel drops on Coin-Op and assembles four focused tracks that balance between electro-funk, tech elements, and dancefloor-ready structures. The release puts the emphasis on precise drum programming, stripped-back arrangements, and catchy motifs, making it feel equally designed for DJ sets and more intense club moments.

The A-side opens with the title track, "Theme from Sentinel," a jacking, relentless, almost robotic funk cut whose driving grooves and striking stabs make an immediate impact. "Binary Communication" nods to the 2000s tech aesthetic: punchy drums, drifting intro pads, and a heavy stab-and-bass groove that bridges nostalgia and a modern club focus.

On the B-side, "Fight or Flight" grows from driving percussion into a powerful peak-time track with synthetic highs and compact low end. Closing things out is "Climbing Cosmos," a more relaxed, grooving deep cut with glassy chords and 808-driven drum work that gives the EP a warm, conciliatory ending. Overall, The Sentinel shows a taste for meticulously crafted machine music, where jacking grooves, stab phrases, and carefully built tension arcs define the style.

Each of the three compositions develops its own balance between intimacy and club appeal, revealing different moods within a clearly defined aesthetic framework. With this 12", Time Passages presents a curated selection of electronic tracks that can hold their own both in subdued settings and in a DJ set. On the EP, Cruv employs sparse, modular elements and rhythmic variations that blend seamlessly into DJ sets; the tracks are designed to stabilize sets and facilitate transitions. With this 12", the Cruv label remains true to its approach of releasing tracks that hold their own in club operation. The LP "In Lieu" by Gi Gi is being released on Mood Hut and presents a precisely calibrated evolution of his previously free-flowing sound. Here, Gi Gi weaves fragments of sampling, dub, and shoegaze into compositions that oscillate between drift and forward momentum; the production is clearly geared toward tension: rhythm with restraint, atmosphere with structure.

The recordings were made partly in Texas and partly in Australia, which leaves its mark not only geographically but internally as well: the material feels more focused, the percussion shows greater assertiveness, and the bass organizes the space instead of dissolving into the background. Tracks like "Some Of" and "Arque" lean into substantial depth, "Pink Dirt" works with mechanical drums and kaleidoscopic vocal snippets, while on "Downswept" voices gain new contours and, over the title sequence, almost coalesce into a leading line before being dissolved again.

For scene insiders, Gi Gi’s own description “dubwise sampledelia” still holds: a process that destabilizes source material until it refers only to itself. His DJ sets reflect the same sensibility, treating weight, ambience, and transitions with equal patience. The release slots into an international practice that has already connected Gi Gi via labels such as Good Morning Tapes, Quiet Time, and INDEX:Records, as well as through radio platforms and club appearances.

The “Sunday Mirage” 12-inch by Chris Carrier, released on Dancefloor Rituals, finds the Parisian veteran at his usual high level and continues the artist’s series of carefully produced EPs. “Sunday Mirage” delivers a trance-inducing selection of tracks that move between techno, minimal, and tech house, while being purpose-built for club play. The EP includes two tracks clearly designed for peak time, a laid-back warm-up groover, and an after-hours pick, presenting the sequence as a varied, cohesive unit.

On “Sunday Mirage,” Chris Carrier once again demonstrates his ability to combine precisely arranged tracks with clear value for DJs; the production feels focused and tailored to the dance floor, without relying on unnecessary effects. With this 12-inch, Dancefloor Rituals continues its collaboration with the producer and offers DJs a solid selection of set-friendly material. Thanks to its clear structures and trance-driven passages, “Sunday Mirage” works equally well for peak-time excursions and longer club sets in which transitions and dynamics play a central role.

Hey ho, let's go!

The “Peacewave” EP, released on Quirk by Berlin-based Norwegian producers Alexander Skancke and Henriku, marks their return to Skancke’s own label and reunites the duo after their last highly successful joint release in 2023 (QRK009 “Happy Birthday” EP).

On this EP, they team up with Ethan Dalziel, guitarist of Berlin post-punk band Klang, adding an eclectic expansion of the label’s genre palette to the Quirk catalog and once again proving just how open-minded the producers are musically.

Across four tracks, the record develops a focus that fuses old-school electronic elements from electro and new wave, house and techno, with rock-inflected components, without getting lost in mere genre formulas.

Highlights include “ATM,” with Henriku’s characteristic voice giving it strong recognition value, as well as “Orange Sunshine.” Both are enhanced by guitar parts from Ethan Dalziel, providing an organic complement to the tracks’ electronic framework.
The title track “Peacewave” lends its name to the release and is an absolute dancefloor filler. The final track on the flip side, “Ragnarok” (B2), stands out with clever, precise sampling—a patient, steadily building party starter.

A thoroughly successful EP and a crystal-clear recommendation!

The “Back From Reality” LP by Space Ghost is being released on Peace World Records and marks his first solo album since 2022. On this release, which comes out on October 9, 2026, Space Ghost weaves elements of ambient, downtempo, and house into an electronics‑oriented sound aesthetic that, within calm, atmospheric arrangements, leaves room for reflection.

The album deliberately draws on the late 1990s and early 2000s: PS2‑era soundtracks, start screens, and menu atmospheres flow into the compositions as aesthetic reference points. Tracks like “System Reset” play like an imaginary console boot‑up, while “VGM” envisions a stage‑select scene for a fictional game; “Sugar Cube” and the title track “Back From Reality,” by contrast, create nocturnal, downtempo‑leaning zones in which listening turns into a kind of nighttime journey.

Visually, the release follows the minimalism of that era: sparse industrial landscapes and stripped‑down typography shape the artwork. The cover photo, shot by Space Ghost during nighttime drives through the quiet, empty harbor districts of Oakland, underscores the intimate, personal touch of the project. Written over the course of five years, “Back From Reality” reflects the negotiation between everyday obligations and creative longing, opening up a small retreat‑like space where moments of optimism and contemplative calm become tangible.

The "Fumaxohn" 12-inch by Robag Wruhme is released on Cocoon. The record brings together four tracks — "Olahni," "Ifthah," "Fumaxohn," and "Pentho" — and presents itself as a compact work focused on atmosphere and groove.

Robag Wruhme is the solo alter ego of Gabor Schablitzki; since the early 2000s, his work has moved between stripped-down house and finely calibrated minimal. The production is characterized by great precision without ever turning cold: instead of relying on spectacular peaks, Schablitzki opts for gentle motion and a constant, barely perceptible build-up of tension. The arrangements are rich in detail yet remain clearly structured, giving every element space.

Musically, the 12-inch spans an arc from ghostly textures to driving bass figures. "Olahni" opens with floating soundscapes and hypnotic vocal fragments, while "Ifthah" leads into darker, rolling bass landscapes. The title track lays a warm harmony over the groove, vocals blur into textural layers, and "Pentho" closes as a stripped-back, direct cut that brings together all that has been woven before. Overall, the record showcases Robag’s fine instinct for balancing emotion and rhythm.

The Time Moods 3 12" by Life Recorder, released on Visions, moves at the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech house, condensing four self-contained tracks into a tight format that links stripped-down structures with dance-focused energy. Life Recorder relies on clear rhythmic contours, economical use of motifs, and deliberately layered electronic textures so that each cut maintains a concise, focused identity.

The A-side opens with "Hope & Struggle" and leads into "Back 2 Back," both tending toward compact arrangements, while the B-side, with "Acid Kiss" and the variant "Move to Express (Travel Mix)," builds a slightly shifted, club-ready dynamic. The tight basslines and precisely placed percussion stand out, complemented by modulated synth elements that move between minimal restraint and driving intensity. Across this 12", Life Recorder remains committed to balancing sober formal aesthetics with functional dancefloor appeal, without sacrificing melodic subtleties. Time Moods 3 on Visions thus offers a compact, style-conscious addition to the electronic club landscape and showcases Life Recorder as a producer who rigorously develops stripped-down concepts.

The Geko02 12-inch by Ok Eg, released on Geko, is the duo’s second outing on their own imprint and directly picks up on the label’s early phase, in which the producers methodically explore their sonic ideas.

Musically, Geko02 opens out into lusher, more dreamlike and more abstract territory: finely wrought layers of synthesizers meet precise percussion arrangements that resist any easy categorization. Pulsing undercurrents and a springy groove create a well-balanced relationship between intricate rhythmic detail and controlled tension; the tracks move between gentle restraint and powerful dynamics.

The record documents OK EG’s feel for organic textures and carefully considered forms, with assured motion and gentle pressure remaining the defining characteristics. In headphones, the tracks unfold with a dense, intimate presence, while on open floors they impress through their clarity and strong sense of space. The production feels deliberately stripped-back yet rich in nuance, allowing each sonic space to develop its own internal logic.

For listeners who value electronic music beyond familiar pigeonholes, Geko02 presents Ok Eg as a project that connects sound design and danceability while pursuing a clear aesthetic direction on the Geko label.

Musically, “Alnos07” opens up space for focused, driving grooves and sparingly constructed arrangements; the opening track “Mechanic Love” features Arnacus on the mic and leans on metallic textures and spoken vocals, while other cuts like “Seek the Light” explore stripped-back, club-ready tension arcs. The production works with clear, industrial percussion patterns and pinpoint melodic injections that can make an impact both on the dance floor and in focused DJ sets. Overall, with “Alnos07” A.B. presents a concentrated 12" that positions Aline Umber as a precise producer operating between minimal rigor and danceable drive.

With the 12" “Dr_go_ir” released on Creature, Unknown Artist presents the next level of their creativity while, by and large, remaining true to their style. The release unfolds a focused sonic concept that combines stripped-down rhythmic structures with wide, dark synth pads. Distinctive bass motifs form the tonal center, while sparingly used percussion and electronic textures create subtle arcs of tension; this generates a field of tension between minimalism and the scene’s characteristic density.

Unknown Artist is distinguished by a clear aesthetic signature: economical arrangements, a fine sense of space and dynamics, and a focus on groove-oriented moments that still leave room for experimental inflections. The tracks are designed to work both in club settings and in focused listening situations, without relying on flashy, attention-grabbing effects.

Particular hallmarks of this 12" are the rigorous production and the consistent reduction to the essentials, which lend the work a coherent dramaturgy. Overall, “Dr_go_ir” offers a precisely framed sound study by the artist and adds another strongly characterful facet to the body of work of Unknown Artist.

The “Endless / Purge” 12" released on Confusion Is Next To Happiness is a split release by Efdemin and .Vril, bringing back the material originally issued in 2021 in revised and expanded form. The recordings have been newly mixed and remastered by Rashad Becker; in addition, a previously unreleased .Vril reinterpretation of “Endless” expands the tracklist, while the two main pieces encounter each other in remix versions.

Musically, “Endless / Purge” moves within a field of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house: arpeggiated sequences run through finely textured dub shrouds, connecting physical propulsion with a floating sense of weightlessness. Efdemin and .Vril retain their unmistakable sonic signatures, while the record channels a melancholic futurism and the machine-driven pulse of the Motor City tradition. The arrangement work emphasizes subtle dynamics and spatial depth; individual motifs are varied across different versions, so the release works both as a directly playable DJ tool and as a dense, detail-oriented studio piece. “Endless / Purge” is thus less a collection of versions than a concentrated encounter between two voices that recalibrate their shared sound across remixes and a new version.

Vintage Pleasure Boutique has conceived the release as a reissue, augmenting the three reworked original versions with remixes by A.P. Mono, Spacehawk, and Disco Computer, giving both collectors and DJs a set of practical variants to work with on this 12".

Musically, the release picks up on the characteristic space‑synth / Italo sound of the original production; the rework emphasizes the synthesizer textures and the rhythmic precision of the arrangements without blurring the vocal melodies. Michiel van der Kuy, who was already involved in the creation of “Oh Que Calor,” is credited as the defining producer behind the composition, which makes the kinship with projects like Laserdance clearly audible. The remixes round out the package with modernized beats and edits that preserve the original disco / boogie character while delivering dancefloor‑ready versions. Fans of Laserdance, Koto, Cyber People, Proxyon, and Sisley Ferre will find clear reference points here.

With the “Paradise People +” 12-inch, Dzungla offers a focused look into Len Lewis’s archive. Released on the Amsterdam-based label, the record combines historical material with previously unreleased tracks, tracing the development of the tech-house veteran from 2003 to 2021.

Four tracks guide listeners through Len Lewis’s characteristic dark and driving sound. Precisely placed rhythms, powerful basslines, and stripped-back, movement-oriented production unite the different periods of creation into a cohesive whole. Rather than stylistic breaks, the record develops a continuous arc of tension between techno, minimal, and tech-house, preserving both the raw directness of his earlier productions and the later refinement of his arrangements.

At the center is “Paradise People,” a track that exemplifies Len Lewis’s feel for buoyant grooves and distinctive sonic details. The additional tracks expand this profile with further facets of his production style, highlighting how consistently the London-based producer has pursued his rhythmic language over the years. With “Paradise People +,” Dzungla presents more than an ordinary collection of scattered archive recordings: it is a carefully curated 12-inch that brings together different stages of Len Lewis’s work within a shared musical framework.

New on the "wania mk" series is a double A-side supersonic 12", with two tracks previously circulating as dubplate only. "Bless Up" by Salik (who co-runs Going Good, and of Wania fame) is a deep and controlled Dubstep-goes-Breakbeat knockout. With a prominently loud cut, it carries classic sonics of atmospheric Jungle/D'n'B while running rhythmically reduced towards the mid-side Jungle-styled Breakbeat drop. L.A. 2000 & DJ Sotofett continue their collaboration from Wania mk1 and mk2 with a Dub Techno Stepper. Clinically adjusted delays and short reverb support the ultra-reduced rhythm and harmonically gritty stabs, with the long-awaited sub-bass arriving as a well-timed surprise. This 12" is cut with loud volume for excellent club use.

The compilation "Phantom Dream Va 01" is the first various‑artists release by the new Berlin label Phantom Dream and comes as a 12" vinyl. The selection clearly operates at the intersection of techno, minimal, and tech house, and stands out for an impressively mature production approach that gives equal space to stripped‑down structures and hypnotic grooves. Phantom Dream relies on precisely placed rhythmic elements and dense soundscapes that recall the deeper, more atmospheric side of the ’90s without slipping into nostalgia.

The release gains particular weight from an outstanding remix by Thomas Melchior (Melchior Productions Ltd), which strongly underscores the return to ’90s deep techno and house. Melchior’s contribution acts as the compilation’s anchor point, distilling its concept: minimalist arrangements meet recurring, trance‑like motifs. "Phantom Dream Va 01" thus presents a focused selection of tracks that seem designed both for club use and for longer, immersive DJ sets, positioning the label as a go‑to source for subtle, hypnotic techno.
