Leuchtfeuer Strickwaren was founded 1956 in Germany by Adolf Grohmann and his wife. It all started as a traditional family run knitting company. Back in ´56 the company was responsible for exclusive hand knitting and a small range of caps & socks worn and used by mariners and fishermen. Now, after half a century and knitting in the 3rd generation, Leuchtfeuer Stickwaren is producing conscious knitwear and accessories from the finest pure wool, using traditional techniques and knitted to the original patterns. All products are manufactured in Lilienthal, Germany.
