Made from heavy Japanese fleece fabric with a 30/30/7 mesh, this Beams Plus sweatshirt has a thick, textured look. The fabric was produced on a rare, old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine, one of the first high-speed knitting machines developed in the 1970s. Today, there are only a few of these machines left in the world. Its knitting speed is extremely low – it produces only one to two lengths of fabric per day – but it is precisely this that creates the incomparably soft, voluminous feel that makes this sweatshirt so special.

The inside is made of unbrushed fleece, which makes it more versatile and ensures a pleasantly balanced temperature, especially in the transitional seasons. The classic crew neck silhouette, combined with subtle ribbed cuffs at the crew neckline, sleeves and hem, makes this Beams Plus sweatshirt a stylish all-rounder – for both solo wear and layering.
