The “Drukqs” LP by Aphex Twin is released on Warp and marks the 25th anniversary of the 2001 album; this reissue presents “Drukqs” for the first time in a standard vinyl format, making all Aphex Twin albums available on vinyl again. The edition compiles well-known tracks such as “Avril 14th” and “QKThr,” offering both the familiar piano moments and complex, rhythmically intricate tracks within a cohesive vinyl concept that appeals equally to collectors and new listeners. It comes in a gatefold sleeve with lined inner sleeves.

Musically, the release showcases the breadth of the original: quiet, piano-centered compositions stand alongside meticulously programmed, often unusually constructed pieces. Some passages were created using a Disklavier and prepared-piano techniques, which explains the acoustic character of the piano numbers while also contrasting with the electronic processing of the drum patterns. This Warp reissue thus offers the opportunity to experience “Drukqs” anew as a coherent album that unites historic moments of electronic avant-garde with precise craftsmanship.

Limited edition of 500 copies on red/clear marbled vinyl, available exclusively from HHV for the German market.

The LP "Distance In Static HHV Exclusive Clear / Red Vinyl Edition," released on Ninja Tune, brings together the compositional work of an artist who has been one of the defining voices in electronic music for more than 25 years. It marks both a conclusion and the beginning of a new chapter in a body of work that includes two Top 10 albums, numerous gold and silver certifications for singles, nearly one million records sold worldwide, and billions of streams; collaborations with artists such as Erykah Badu and Damon Albarn, along with recurring BRIT and GRAMMY nominations, further underscore this range.

Musically, the record combines familiar elements of warm, organic textures with a clear inclination toward precise electronic production: dense percussion, layered string and horn arrangements, and subtle melodic motifs create an atmospheric space that accommodates both intimate moments and danceable passages in equal measure. Particularly striking is the visual realignment, developed together with designer Trevor Jackson and using microphotographs by John I. Koivula as its aesthetic starting point; the accompanying live show, created in collaboration with Pierre Claude, extends the concept into a performance with carefully considered spatial design.

Limited edition on Coke Bottle Green vinyl, limited to 500 copies, with 350 available at HHV!

The “Final Circle” LP by Skee Mask and North Americans is released on City Slang and brings together two unusual sonic worlds: Bryan Müller, known as Skee Mask, meets guitarist Patrick McDermott and his ambient country-folk project North Americans. On City Slang, the duo documents a collaboration that feels surprisingly cohesive on first listen, combining electronic precision with expansive, meditative drones. Skee Mask’s experience with hazy, atmospheric techno as well as breakbeat, dub, and jungle elements—a path he has followed from “Compro” (2018) through “Resort” (2024)—meets the slow, unfolding textures of North Americans.

Musically, “Final Circle” moves between techno, minimal, and tech house; rhythmic details and layered time signatures are interwoven with stretched-out guitar washes and ambient arcs of tension. The production emphasizes subtle dynamics and structural calm without foregoing distinctive electronic impulses. The “Final Circle” LP on City Slang is thus a deliberately composed meeting of two distinct musical voices, combining electronic sophistication and acoustic tranquility into a singular sonic form.

“No. Rrr9” by STABLO appears as a 12" on the self-titled STABLO label and clearly focuses on analog releases available exclusively on vinyl; stylistically, the record sits at the intersection of breaks, house, minimal and tech house and is aimed at DJs and collectors who appreciate stripped-down, dance-oriented arrangements.

The tracks are characterized by a sparse yet effective sound design: driving grooves, subtle percussion and restrained melodic layers create tension without overblown production. This restraint and the play with echo and loop elements recall earlier releases on the label, which consciously rely on clear, functional club structures while emphasizing atmospheric textures.

As with many STABLO releases, extensive credits and producer information are kept to a minimum; the project banks on anonymity and strictly limited runs, which increases the appeal for collectors. Anyone looking to play the record will find pragmatic, DJ-friendly arrangements here, while the conceptual restraint and vinyl-focused release policy sharpen STABLO’s profile.

The "Ice Castles Black Vinyl Edition" LP by Larry Heard has been released on Alleviated, bringing this long-sought atmospheric work back as a remastered, expanded double LP. After nearly three decades of being unavailable on vinyl, "Ice Castles" returns in a complete edition that documents all tracks and highlights the tranquil, ambient arrangements of the original. The edition centers the focus on Heard as a producer and innovator of the deep house sound, presented in a soberly designed reissue on black vinyl.

Musically, Larry Heard shows his introspective side here: "Ice Castles" and tracks like "Crystal Fantasy" weave together downtempo and deep house elements with touches of R&B and jazz, making the album less geared toward club use and more toward textural, personal atmospheres. The reissue emphasizes this intersection of warm synth washes, melodic piano and xylophone lines, and muted percussion, continuing the vision Heard had already mapped out in the mid-1990s with "Sceneries Not Songs, Vol. 2." For listeners who appreciate Larry Heard as an architect of deep house aesthetics, the "Ice Castles Black Vinyl Edition" on Alleviated offers a focused and expanded opportunity to rediscover this chapter of his work.

The "Withness" LP by ANOTR is released on No Art and brings the Amsterdam duo back to the forefront with a clear focus on club play. The third studio album emerged during an extensive world tour: the tracks were written on the road, tested live, and repeatedly refined for dancefloors around the globe.

Musically, "Withness" builds on a blend of warm 80s textures, classic drum-machine patterns, and multi-layered vocals that are molded into compact, song-oriented club tracks in contemporary productions. For the material, ANOTR draw both on their early club roots and on narrative song structures, so each track works as a DJ tool as well as a self-contained piece. The LP includes numerous collaborations, among others with 3DDY, PAMÉ, 54 Ultra, Wayne Snow, TEED, and Benny Sings, whose contributions expand the sound with different voices and rhythms.

The lead single "Talk To You" feat. 54 Ultra holds particular significance: it evolved into the global breakout dance track of the year, already amassing over 125 million Spotify streams and earning chart placements in the United Kingdom. With "Withness," No Art condenses live energy and a keen sense for danceable arrangements into a cohesive album that vividly documents ANOTR's development within house and deep house.

The "12 Conversations" LP by Ryuichi Sakamoto & Alva Noto is released on Noton. This double LP is pressed on two 12" records on black vinyl and comes in a tip-on sleeve with special coating; playback speed is 33⅓ rpm. The edition is available worldwide, except for Japan and Korea.

The album continues the duo’s long-standing artistic connection, which began in 2002 with "Vrioon" and extended through the V.I.R.U.S. series as well as projects such as "Glass" and live documents into the more recent past. Stylistically, the record links Sakamoto’s matured piano sound and melodic subtlety with Alva Noto’s precise electronic shaping; the compositions work with subtle dynamic gradations, extended fields of sustain, and occasional digital interventions that create an atmosphere that is both cinematic and meditative.

"12 Conversations" brings together twelve musical encounters, recorded in November and December 2022, that are closely linked to Sakamoto’s solo project "12"; the coherence of the material only made an independent release possible after those recordings were completed. The artwork is by Carsten Nicolai and Nibo, mastering was handled by Bo Kondren at Calyx Mastering in Berlin, and "Conversation 7" features the voice of Emma Maeda. The pieces range from wide‑ranging, contemplative dialogues to short, concentrated miniatures and document the duo’s ongoing interest in experimentation.

First-ever release on vinyl and cassette * First time reissued on CD * Produced in full cooperation with Hiroshi Yoshimura's estate * Remastered from original sources by John Baldwin * English translations of original 1996 release liner notes * Reproductions of Yoshimura's handwritten recording notes * Vinyl includes 5" x 7" postcard print * Vinyl pressed at Optimal * HHV Exclusive Variant pressed on Sunrise (Yellow) wax "My encounter with the Hoh Rain Forest, located inside Olympic National Park across the water from Seattle, felt like seeing a whole new world for the first time in my life. Long green fronds draped along the branches, like a scene in which fairies could be heard whispering to one another. But when you try to listen, no sound can be heard. Amidst the mysterious silence, in which no birds or insects make a sound, every living thing seemed to have stopped in its place, only to start dancing when some kind of spell is cast over them." - Hiroshi Yoshimura Originally issued on compact disc in 1996, Quiet Forest was Hiroshi Yoshimura’s last album-length work to be released before his passing in 2003. Largely inspired by his trip to the vast forests of the North American Pacific Northwest, the album is an aural reflection of the fantastical, surreal beauty he experienced as he walked through the otherworldly wilderness for the first time. The basic tracks were recorded in the fall of 1993. After numerous revisions to the song titles and a scrapped idea to overlay the tracks with nature field recordings, Hiroshi ultimately produced a latter-day masterwork that feels like the spiritual follow-up to Green, one of his defining works from a decade earlier.

The “The Inevitable End” LP by Röyksopp is released on Cooking Vinyl and marks a deliberate closing point in the Norwegian duo’s album history. On their fifth studio album, Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland audibly move into a darker, more lyric-focused space; Röyksopp’s own production combines sparse, downbeat-driven arrangements with clear electronic lines, allowing the vocals to emerge as a central creative element. Cooking Vinyl releases this edition on vinyl; the record features familiar singles such as “Skulls” and the rendition of “Monument” alongside the haunting “Running to the Sea.”

Guests including Susanne Sundfør, Jamie Irrepressible, Robyn, and Ryan James of Man Without Country make a decisive contribution to the mood, adding vocal accents that give the songs an immediate emotional contour. Warm synthesizers, carefully placed bass figures, and restrained percussion come to the fore instrumentally, while the production and arrangements leave room for the lyrics. “The Inevitable End” on Cooking Vinyl is therefore less a collection of earlier hits than a focused, song-oriented work that combines Röyksopp’s inclination toward atmospheric electronic music with an explicit emphasis on songwriting and vocals.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ongaku 1” 12" on DDS appears here as a 2026 pressing in an edition of 500 copies and has been mastered by Rashad Becker. The release marks Atobe’s third 12" since his 2001 Chain Reaction debut and coincides with the tenth anniversary of his first DDS album, “Butterfly Effect”; additional editing and mixes come from Miles ov Demdike Stare. With it, DDS launches a new series of limited 12-inch releases in which Atobe subtly develops his signature sound while at the same time probing a stronger sub-bass focus.

Musically, the record’s A-side features “Ongaku 1,” a shimmering, classic-leaning deep house cut that combines delicate ornamentation with precisely sculpted kicks. Feathery dub chords and dark string passages create recurring goosebump moments, while fine details open up in the upper registers. The B-side, “Dub 6(six),” unfolds a psychedelic weave of arpeggios and synth voices, given extra depth by a more forceful bass undercarriage before the kicks set the whole thing swinging on a broader scale. Taken as a whole, “Ongaku 1” sees Shinichi Atobe combine his familiar stripped-back framework with new shadings, yielding some of his most immediate and enduring work.

The “Late Loop” LP by Andy Stott is released on Modern Love and marks the producer’s return after a five-year break from the studio. The album brings Alison Skidmore, Stott’s long-time vocal partner, and for the first time Elaine Howley to the forefront; their voices are used partly as full vocal performances and partly as fragmented, pitch-shifted loops, forming the emotional center of the record. Stott largely avoided established production tricks: no basslines, no reverb, just a delay as the sole effect, giving the arrangements an unusual clarity and fragility.

“Late Loop” sits somewhere between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, and emerged from an experimental process that ranged from drone passages and brass-like concrète moments to song-oriented structures. Rhythm often emerges indirectly here: a drum machine was played back into the room, re-recorded, and pitched down; a pump organ was recorded with a microphone placed on the floor; valves and an aging mixing console audibly contribute to the atmosphere. Lyrically, themes of separation predominate; the voices were layered multiple times, then pared back until only the essentials remained. Mastering was handled by Rashad Becker, and the cover photo is by Myriam Boulos. With “Late Loop,” Modern Love presents an austere, meticulously crafted album whose details gradually reveal themselves with repeated listening.

The “A.S.O.” LP by A.S.O. is set for a 2026 vinyl repress on Efficient Space, bringing the duo’s debut back into focus in a new edition. Efficient Space is responsible for the reissue of the eleven tracks, which move between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, pairing Lewie Day’s production aesthetic with the distinctive voice of Alia Seror‑O’Neill.

Across eleven tracks, including “Go On,” “My Baby’s Got It Out For Me,” “Rain Down,” and “Love In The Darkness,” the album unfolds a range that runs from trip‑hop‑leaning torch songs to ethereal dream pop and dub‑inspired textures. The songs were written by Alia Seror‑O’Neill and Lewie Day and recorded between Quintagon Studios in Berlin and Palmerston Studios in Melbourne/Naarm; Lewie Day handled most of the mixing, Track 9 was mixed by Thomas McAlister, and the mastering comes from Mikey Young. Dylan Batelic created the artwork, with additional text by Piers Harrison.

The “A.S.O.” LP on Efficient Space showcases a cohesive, texture‑rich production in which song‑oriented structures and atmospheric details complement each other. This repress brings the characteristic blend of elegiac melodicism and subtle electronic menace back to vinyl once more.

The “Mystic Meltdown” double LP by Acid Pauli is released on All Is Acid in a gatefold cover. Martin Gretschmann, known as Acid Pauli as well as for his work with Console and The Notwist, presents his first full-length album since “MOD,” released in 2020. The release combines electronic music, indie dance, ambient, house and techno-inflected elements into a cohesive, dynamic flow.

On “Mystic Meltdown,” Acid Pauli creates a dense soundscape in which pulsing rhythms, multilayered textures and abrupt contrasts interweave. The album took shape over an extended period and follows a carefully developed arc that brings together different tempos and emotional nuances. “Yes, Caroline” hints at an abstract connection to the Beach Boys and “Pet Sounds,” while “Con Toda Palabra” features Sophie Hunger performing a Spanish interpretation of the song by Lhasa de Sela.

Other distinctive vocals come from Hani Mojtahedy, whose Kurdish singing shapes “Goman (Remix),” as well as from Kingdom Molongi. Their voices can be heard as a sample on the title track, “Mystic Meltdown,” and return in “Mystic Feedback.” Kingdom Molongi grew out of a project involving Portuguese musician Jonathan Uliel Saldanha and the Kingdom Ulfame Choir, a seven-member ensemble of Congolese singers from Uganda. On All Is Acid, Acid Pauli thus combines electronic precision with improvised vocal music and global influences.

The compilation “Efflorescence III” has been released as an LP on Project Indigo and presents a curated selection of techno, minimal, and tech house. Project Indigo is a Zurich-based label and collective, founded in 2016, that brings together local and international producers.

The selection combines ambient frequencies with hypnotic beats; tracks such as Lb Honne’s “Six Castles,” Flabaire’s “Summer Sun,” and Boaksi’s “Dream With Me” showcase the spectrum between deep techno, deep house, and ambient house. The contributions range from dense, driving arrangements to finely crafted, atmospheric passages.

All proceeds go toward reforestation projects.

The record also features contributions from Iltaa, Tibi Dabo, Ben Kaczor, Sœnne, Hame, and Hobie, each exploring their own approaches to rhythmic density and ethereal arrangements. The production focuses on fine textures and balanced low end, allowing both the minimal grooves and ambient nuances to stand out clearly.

The “Pixel” 12-inch by Intellitronic, released on Rubadub, sheds light on a largely hidden early phase of Heinrich Mueller, who is also behind projects such as Drexciya, Arpanet, and Dopplereffekt. The four tracks date from the early 1990s and combine stripped-down electronic precision with a clear connection to the printing and imaging technology of the era.

The title track, “Pixel,” had previously been available exclusively on the 1993 CD “Magic Tracks (Deep Detroit Volume Two),” compiled by Juan Atkins. “Stencil,” “Inkjet,” and “Hex Colour Code,” on the other hand, had remained unreleased and now appear for the first time alongside the previously known track on Rubadub’s 12-inch. As a result, “Pixel” offers an unusual portrait of Mueller’s work beyond his better-known aliases.

Musically, Intellitronic focuses on rigorously programmed rhythms, dry machine-funk structures, and a cool, functional sonic aesthetic. The track titles draw on terms associated with printing processes, color definition, and digital imaging, while still acknowledging their roots in the early electro tradition. The distinctive character of this release lies precisely in its combination of technical austerity, sparse arrangements, and Detroit-influenced rhythm work. With “Pixel,” Rubadub presents four archival recordings that make Mueller’s early electronic language accessible in compact form.

Shinichi Atobe’s “Ship-Scope” 12" as released on DDS returns as a 2026 pressing in a limited run of 500 copies, remastered from vinyl by Matt Colton. This edition foregrounds the familiar connection between warm dub techno feeling and stripped-back, minimal production, amounting to a precise, carefully updated reappraisal of the piece.

Originally issued on Chain Reaction in 2001, “Ship-Scope” is characterized by an unusually dreamy tonality that sets it apart from many releases of the time; the DDS version brings this dreamy, almost lost-at-sea atmosphere even more clearly to the fore. Especially striking is the dense sense of space and the slowly building tension that turns tracks like “The Red Line” into defining moments of the release.

With this reissue, DDS continued the curatorial work that brought renewed attention to Shinichi Atobe after his resurfaced album “Butterfly Effect.” The remaster by Matt Colton preserves the organic character of the original recordings without smoothing out their fragile texture, making the “Ship-Scope” 12" on DDS a relevant addition for collectors and admirers of the romantic side of deep and dub techno.

The Birmingham Frequencies double LP by Higher Intelligence Agency & Biosphere, released on Headphone, brings their 1997 collaboration to vinyl for the first time in a deluxe edition with gatefold sleeve. The versions were carefully prepared for mastering by Stefan Betke (Pole) and thus constitute the first official vinyl release of this project.

The recordings are based on location sound recordings of the city of Birmingham, which Bobby Bird and Geir Jenssen used as the foundation for their compositions. The program was first presented live on October 4, 1997, in the distinctive circular space of the Birmingham Rotunda and originally appeared on CD in 2000.

Musically, Birmingham Frequencies weaves field recordings with delicate ambient textures, moving between more sturdy dub elements and a soundtrack-adjacent, Lynch/Badalamenti-like atmosphere. Pieces such as “Narrowboat” and “Midpoint” underscore this cinematic quality and were later used in Peter Mettler’s film While the Green Grass Grows, highlighting the album’s characteristic balance between documentary-style urban listening and composed atmosphere.

This double-LP reissue complements the recently re-released works by both artists and, thanks to its remastered sound, offers an accurate reprise of those soundscapes that mark the work as a bridge between classic ambient structures and early forms of contemporary artistic field-recording practice.

The “Running Around (83)” 12" by Yl Hooi, released on Efficient Space, brings a long road-tested live piece to vinyl for the first time. The hand-stamped white-label 12" honors the raw presentation of the material and presents the central version alongside three self-contained renditions.

Yl Hooi, the duo of Valya Ying-Li Hooi and Tarquin Manek, uses “Running Around (83)” to document a dense combination of crushing rhythms, otherworldly voices, and cryptic fragments of text that ride atop an overdriven, dub-techno-oriented bassline. It’s the project’s first release since “Untitled” (2019) and channels the tension honed in live performance into a focused studio version that preserves both its motoric weight and its finely detailed sonic observations.

The record comprises four tracks: the original version, the “Mad Professor Dub,” the “Ulla Version,” and the “John T. Gast Remix.” Mad Professor delivers a percussion-heavy halftime stepper variant featuring contributions from Black Steel and Karmelody. Ulla’s version rebuilds the theme, weaving together woodwinds, keys, and subtle percussion to create a meeting point between ambient, minimal jazz, and contemporary classical. John T. Gast pulls the material into a rough, sound-system-oriented dance form where lo-fi aesthetics and distorted energy intersect. With this 12", Efficient Space remains a forum for experimental, hybrid-inflected electronics.

The LP "Moon Safari Indie Exclusive Orange Vinyl Edition" by AIR, released on Source, brings together the duo’s formative debut album in a special edition and emphasizes the finely balanced atmosphere for which Nicolas Godin and Jean‑Benoît Dunckel have been known since the late nineties.

Musically, "Moon Safari" is built on carefully layered, calm electronics with downtempo influences, orchestral flourishes, and a sense of retro‑futurism characterized by shimmering Rhodes chords, restrained brass arrangements, and melodic synthesizer lines. The album was produced by Jean‑Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin; defining standout tracks include the anthems "Sexy Boy," "Kelly Watch the Stars," and "All I Need" (featuring vocals by Beth Hirsch).

"Moon Safari" is regarded as a landmark of French electronic music and has repeatedly appeared in critics’ best‑of‑the‑nineties lists. Since its release, the album has sold in the millions worldwide; it is often cited at around two million copies sold.

The work is currently experiencing renewed attention: to mark their anniversary tour, AIR performed the album in its entirety for the first time at sold‑out shows in Europe and North America, putting the duo’s signature, elegant sound back at the center of attention. In several countries, the release has received certifications up to platinum status.

Released on National Centre For Mark Fell Studies, the 12" Servitude In Context by Mark Fell appears as a limited edition of 300 copies and was mastered by Rashad Becker. Over roughly 40 minutes of playing time, Mark Fell unfolds a precise, physically impactful sequence of polytemporal rhythms and punctuated percussion figures that bring together electronic dance ideas from various traditions in idiosyncratic, reductive arrangements.

Opening track “Actutations #1 (Extended)” works with accelerating and decelerating pulses, while “time-slur” and “Taut manifold” set up asymmetrical, elastic drum patterns. “Low energy mantra” moves toward relatively melodic structures and points to elements of gamelan and footwork; “anode” strikes with jagged accents before the 12-minute “3 lost contours (pts 1–5)” tips over into fast, skittish variations. Across the EP, Fell achieves a consistent play of attack and decay: every pinpointed strike surface is carefully articulated, producing a constant alternation of rhythmic-melodic tension and release.

As a continuation of the artist’s recent work, Servitude In Context focuses Mark Fell’s powers of observation and compositional discipline on music for movement and confirms his position as a creator of finely tuned, dance-related experiments within contemporary electronic music.

The "Nothing Space Music" LP by Maya Ongaku is released on Guruguru Brain and translates the band's electronically attuned experiments into a contemplative format built around left-of-center grooves. On the LP, the band brings together eight compositions, including "Vanishing Waves," "Astral Echoes," and "You are Silence," conceived as carefully arranged, dynamically restrained pieces that weave together vocals, textured synth pads, and acoustic elements. All songs were written and arranged by Maya Ongaku; production took place in a dedicated recording space the group refers to as the "Nothing Space Studio," which audibly results in a dense, spatial sonic aesthetic.

The release on Guruguru Brain underscores Maya Ongaku's affinity with contemporary, experimental sound forms; this label edition presents the album sequencing with clarity and places emphasis on analog presence in the LP format. Musically, "Nothing Space Music" moves within the field of tension between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield without slipping into obvious patterns: calm, modular arrangements meet subtle rhythmic shifts and organic melodic strands. The result is an album that rewards repeated listening and uses the contrasts between silence and sound as a central compositional device.

Another Day on Earth (2005) was Brian Eno’s first song-based album since Nerve Net in 1992, and remains one of his most acclaimed solo records. It featured a young Jon Hopkins alongside long-standing collaborators Nell Catchpole, J. Peter Schwalm and Leo Abrahams, with lyrics co-written by Michel Faber and Danny Hillis. The album was launched with a public conversation between Eno and the writer Michael Bracewell at the Marble Palace in St Petersburg and its cover photograph was taken by Eno himself in Beijing, during his first Chinese audio installation in the city’s Ritan Park. Following Warner Bros’ purchase of Hannibal Records in 2006, the licence for Another Day on Earth lapsed in 2008 and the album has been unavailable outside Japan ever since. Its absence has not dimmed its following: the track ‘And Then So Clear’ has racked up more than two million streams on YouTube despite never having an official release and songs from the album, including ‘And Then So Clear’, ‘Caught Between’, ‘Bottomliners’ and ‘Bonebomb’, have surfaced in Eno’s rare live performances, including alongside his brother Roger at the Acropolis in 2022, with Icebreakers at Brighton Festival in 2010, and with a 45-piece orchestra on the 2023 Ships tour.

Claudio PRC’s “Self Surrender Deconstructed” 12-inch, released on Delsin, presents a stripped-down reworking of his 2025 album and audibly ventures into new territory. Created for San Francisco’s Endzeit collective during SF Art Week 2026, the deconstructed A/V performance translated tracks from the album into a dense narrative shaped by deep ambient influences; the visual performance was provided live by Subset. Four of these works were selected for the 12-inch, including the two new tracks “Traces” and “Sanctuary,” which function as standalone additions to the original album structure.

Musically, the release links elements of downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, focusing on textural dissolution and atmospheric density. Claudio PRC separates melodic fragments from rhythmic impulses, shaping slow, tentative movements from traces and layers and thereby opening up new listening perspectives on the source material. The accompanying postcard contains a link to the complete recording of the A/V performance, directly connecting the works documented on vinyl with their visual realization. “Self Surrender Deconstructed” on Delsin thus offers a focused selection of renditions that translate the original album into contemplative, electronically driven forms.

“Ep 2” by Bruno Pronsato & Richard Rozen is released as a 12" on Logistic and presents two raw, analog-driven cuts that take the duo even further into minimalist techno territory. The stripped-back structure of the arrangements relies on clear, punchy frameworks and gives each sonic element plenty of room to unfold.

Each side of the record hosts a single track, allowing the minimally constructed grooves to fully reveal their tension and texture. Instead of dense layer constellations, targeted modulations, sparse percussion, and a carefully shaped bass presence dominate, keeping the focus on the analog domain and preserving the raw energy of the sound sources.

On the A-side you’ll find “Sue Can Wait” (8:32), while the B-side offers a more extended mix with “Follow The Model” (12:17); all tracks were written and produced by Bruno Pronsato and Richard Rozen. The running times open up a wide field for dynamic development and put the emphasis on drive and density rather than overload.

Style-wise, the duo moves between rough, organic sound and precise minimal aesthetics; the productions are characterized by a direct, purposeful approach that proves effective both in a club context and in focused listening situations. With this release, Logistic documents the consistent continuation of a purist, analog-oriented sound.

2026 Repress

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions. Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.

Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.

Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

The “Astro” double LP by Donato Dozzy is released on Tresor and comes in a gatefold sleeve with download card. Over two sides, Dozzy unfolds a concept that links personal memories of Japanese animated series with his familiar synth architecture. The title piece “Astro” directly references an early sample source taken from a Japanese TV anthem and functions as the central motif of the album.

Musically, on “Astro” Donato Dozzy combines stripped-down, hypnotic structures with precise sound design: tracks like “Raydeen” and “Himika (M Song)” rely on powerful yet restrained arpeggios, while “Pegasu” conjures images of machines lifting off. “Jumbo Crack” was created on an EMS Synthi AKS and works without drums; rising basses and white noise here generate a sensation of takeoff. The eponymous composition “Astro” is based on a children’s song sampled directly for the first time, which serves as its point of departure. The set concludes with “Ryoma (Lò Song),” whose wide, trance-like pads function as a finale. With “Astro,” Tresor presents a focused release in which Donato Dozzy fuses his synthesizer work and his memories of collecting into a coherent whole with a cosmic feel.

All of DJ Shadow's Mo'Wax 12inches and 7inches plus unreleased material on eight discs.

Zoom! Like the streak of a shooting star or the time it takes to bat an eyelash. That’s how recent the ‘90s still feels to me. And yet, the “newest” offering in the box set is nearly thirty years old, and the last time any of these singles were reissued legitimately, Mo’ Wax was still a label on the ascent. Most of them predate iTunes, and exist chaotically (if at all) on DSPs. Clearly, I’m long overdue to clean up my pre-album and non-album catalog and present anew the seven original singles released during Mo’ Wax’s heyday. This box set is intended to do exactly that, and more.

I was inspired by the satisfying and painstaking process applied to the 25th Anniversary Endtroducing..... release from 2021, and began to ask myself: “Why stop there? Ideally, shouldn’t ALL of my music from the Mo’ Wax era be given the same treatment?” So, out came the original DAT tapes, in some cases so aged and fragile that multiple machines were needed to obtain a successful transfer of the music they contained. Once the original pre-masters were identified, the files were sent to Miles Showell at Abbey Road for remastering- not to satisfy the volume wars, but for the purpose of retaining clarity and dynamic range, the end result being a much more uniform listening experience.

On streaming services, my intention is to present, for the first time, the singles as they were released. Not merely part of the Preemptive Strike compilation as several of the songs are, but on their own, with the original B-sides and artwork. The vinyl box set, meanwhile, presents an opportunity to do something altogether different.

With many of the graphic elements sadly lost to the wind, I had no interest in trying to mimic or reconstruct the original art. In fact, I decided to reimagine the singles from top to bottom. In going through the master tapes, many of which I hadn’t heard since the ‘90s, I realized that there were still new stories worth telling. For example, the version of “High Noon” everybody knows was actually a self-remix, done at the insistence of my friend Osman Eralp who ran A&M and felt that the drums were “too up front.” What better time than now to present my original intended master mix? Ditto the versions of “What Does Your Soul Look Like,” presented here as individual tracks rather than threaded together via the interludes made for the EP. The fully intact originals are still widely available, but these “standalone” versions have never been heard until now.

In all, roughly half of the songs presented on the box set appear in previously unreleased form, either as an alternate mix or edit, or in the case of the eighth disc in the series, primitive demos which represent literally my first ever bounces from MPC to DAT; the “proofs of concept,” so to speak.

This box wasn’t made for the casual listener, it was made with the hardcore fan in mind. I’ve always felt, if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing right, and every step of the process was made with this philosophy firmly in mind. I had fun locating and resurrecting these songs, some of which still feel close to my consciousness as though they were made yesterday.

The “The Rules Of The Game” LP by Cop Tears is released on The Trilogy Tapes and combines chamber music arrangements with a rough, restrained sound aesthetic. The New York trio consists of Derek Baron on flute, melodica, and vocals, Cameron Kapoor on electric guitar, and John Andrew Wilhite on double bass. The album was recorded in 2022 at Kapoor’s apartment in New York.

Cop Tears reinterpret works spanning more than six centuries. John Dunstaple’s “Quam pulchra est” and Guillaume de Machaut’s “Puis qu’en oubli” meet compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Valentin Silvestrov, Erik Satie, Alma Mahler, and Friedrich Nietzsche. Peggy Seeger’s “Of All the Beast-es” and Michael Pollard’s excerpts from “Piano Sonata After a Conversation with Jonathan Gean” are also part of this unusually assembled repertoire.

The Trilogy Tapes describes the music as intimate chamber music with traces of lo-fi, folk, and jazz. Warm tape hiss, muted room sounds, occasional playfulness, and deliberately unpolished moments shape the recording, while double bass and flute create a woody, quiet atmosphere. As a result, “The Rules Of The Game” exists between historical music preservation, experimental interpretation, and a subtly electronic fringe aesthetic. Stephan Mathieu handled the mastering.

Limited edition on translucent marbled/colored vinyl, available exclusively at HHV.

The "Music For Existing" double LP by Martyn is released on 3024 Music and marks the producer’s return to the album format. Recorded as a collaborative project, the album blends improvisational jazz moments with carefully placed electronic interventions; the opening track "Heavy Sound" serves as a harbinger, establishing the arcs of tension between arranged ensemble sections and a palpable live atmosphere.

For "Music For Existing," Martyn brings together an expanded ensemble: Duval Timothy contributes keys, Lucinda Chua adds cello, Mischa Porte handles drums, Cees Bruinsma can be heard on trumpet, and Mark Cisneros on saxophone. Dan Only and Danny Voicu broaden the sonic palette with Wurlitzer, Rhodes, and guitar, while Musa Okwonga provides textual interjections. All compositions and production are by Martyn Deykers; mastering is by Bob Macc at Subvert Central Mastering, artwork is by Jeroen Erosie, and accompanying photography is by Jeroen van der Wielen.

The double LP on 3024 Music comes across as a carefully conceived collaboration between producer and band, weaving acoustic instruments, improvisational passages, and electronic layering into a coherent album that makes Martyn’s current, detail-oriented musical thinking tangible.

New and stunning release on Smiling C limited to 500 copies worldwide. Exclusively available through HHV in Europe.

More than four years in the making, Tiki Shack Recording Studios AKA Smiling C Records & Mike Patricola present Pipe Dreams — a compilation of sidewalk surf bands, tropical troubadours, and soothing sounds from just beyond the reef.

Compiled by Mike Patricola, Pipe Dreams is the culmination of years spent exchanging obscure recordings, pursuing a shared feeling, and uncovering a sub-genre of overlooked songs that could be woven into a story of surf, snorkel, and sun. Drawn from Patricola's collection, the compilation aims to capture the feeling of endless summer, and serves as an ode to the freedom of island living: Bikini-shaped sunburns, coconut stands closed due to perfect swells, slack guitars, perpetual sunsets, guppies darting through shallow water, and afternoons spent face-down in the sand.

Spanning the late 1970s through the mid 1980s, Pipe Dreams gathers forgotten pop, lounge, soft rock, AOR, disco, and private-press oddities into a time capsule that seeks to epitomize an era that existed before life became mediated by screens. One in which technology was more naive and society was less reliant upon it. Time moved slower, people were better able to connect with their surroundings, and the dream of moving to a coastal utopia felt more attainable.

Each side unfolds as its own chapter.

Side A begins with Midwestern lettermen The Sunset Kidds, whose hypnagogic harmonies on “Darlin’” evoke the Beach Boys mired in the post-summer doldrums. Australia's Simplex 2 follow with the previously unreleased “Tiger Bay”, capturing the slow pulse of a perfect beach day through low end groove. Don Moore's infectious “Water Lily” arrives via a romantic Fire Island love affair, while Cay Gottlieb contributes a dose of Bahamian Balearica. To close the side out, Tennessee crooner Ron Holmes delivers an extra dose of salt on the margarita rim for good measure.

Side B shifts into a more upbeat surf-disco and pub-rock mode. Montreal’s Dino Pacifici’s nostalgic ode to carefree summers long passed, followed by Marseille's own The Students "Ocean Lifestyle" — which sits somewhere between Shuggie Otis and The Stranglers. Another Montréalais artist Pierre Rochette delivers a chuggy surf-disco belter, while Special Edition Band ventures from boozy rock into a washed-out paradise with glistening guitars.

Side C serves as an ode to tropical troubadours — intimate songs that range from drum machine lounge to private island bedroom recordings. Japan's Twin Cosmos, actual identical twins, dream up beachfront breezes on "Coconuts Wind." Hawaiian songwriter Dennis Soares offers the delicate and deeply personal "One World," while Ossie Parker Jr. supplies some Bahamian barroom sophistication. Miles Corbin brings sounds straight from the tiki hut, and lounge lizard Glen Banks takes us into the final intermission with a lullaby live from the Coconut Grove.

Side D catches a wave back in. Meri-Lynn & The Key Lime Pie Band celebrate the Florida Key life, Dennis Soares returns for one final Hawaiian postcard, and the Latin band Acapulco contribute a hefty dose of sunny positivity akin to one of Brian Wilson’s cheerier tunes. To round it out, Rick Sharp injects a touch of Bossa cheek and fantasy, and British pub blokes Contrast steer the compilation back toward where it all began — a destination somewhere between a Beach Boy California paradise, a remote oceanside lounge for loners, and a sleazy coastal timeshare.

Pressed on vinyl in a deluxe die-cut, spot-glossed gatefold jacket featuring artwork by our man Charles Bals and cover “Breaking Wave” photo by Lex Thompson. Pipe Dreams is designed as both a listening experience and an object of escape. Drop the needle, lean back, and let the tide carry you away.

The “Entre Nous” 12" by Eden Aurelius is released on Short Span and presents the New York musician’s debut in a compact, well-structured format. The release gathers pieces that oscillate between rhythmic physicality and airy, almost dreamlike sonic spaces; the material was recorded in Brooklyn, New York.

On this release, Eden Aurelius moves within a modern ambient/dub-pop spectrum characterized by delicate textures, understated grooves, and a clear sensuality in the sound. The arrangements work with transitional layers and organic elements, keeping the tracks dense and focused on the one hand while leaving room for atmospheric development on the other. Striking here is the balance between presence and lightness: tones weave into shimmering fields where voice and rhythm enter into a subtle interplay.

The B-side opens with “Ion,” a collaboration with Pontiac Streator that can be described as a textural, hypnotic passage, emphasizing their shared command of rhythm and ambient language. Mastering and cutting were handled by Mike Grinser at Manmade, and the artwork is by Lucas Dupuy. Taken as a whole, “Entre Nous” presents Eden Aurelius as a producer and sound designer whose sensitively shaped compositions carry a contemporary, internally coherent musical signature.

Released on Carrier, the “Thresholds” 12" by Carrier consistently extends the line of his own label and presents the producer on his fourth self-released 12" as a precise, detached architect of rhythm and space. The three tracks operate in a downbeat, electronica, and leftfield cosmos where carefully placed negative space and tightly wound percussion arrangements build tension right up to the breaking point. From minimal, skewed bars and subtractive textures, Carrier draws a tangible density that recalls Autechre, Burial, and Photek without merely quoting them; the tracks unfold as soundsystem‑ready phantoms that fuse long reverberant spaces with razor-sharp timing.

The background of this release can be understood as the continuation of an intense phase: with the 2025 album “Rhythm Immortal” on Modern Love, Carrier made a bold statement, and “Thresholds” picks up on that with concentrated restraint. On the 12", “Cure” unfolds a smoky, reverb‑smeared 2‑step dynamic, “Scout” comes across as a recursive, ghostly cut with nervous, almost tangible breakdown tension, and “Black Channels” closes as a calculated, tension‑driven finale with no easy release. The production emphasizes tactile precision and psychoacoustic depth, so each of the three tracks follows its own uncannily elegant logic.

The “Utility” LP by Barker is released on Ostgut Ton and consistently continues the dance-oriented spirit of experimentation he began on his debut EP “Debiasing.” A Berghain resident and co-founder of Leisure System, Barker playfully links club-ready structures with an exploratory approach to rhythm, harmony, and timbre on this debut LP. Across nine tracks, he probes the balance between immediate dancefloor impact and a deliberately stripped-back, genre-associated instrumentation; bass and percussive impulses function less as genre markers than as elements of a deliberate compositional intent.

Musically, Barker relies heavily on modular synthesis, self-built mechanical instruments, and plate reverbs to shape dense, at times psychedelic vignettes that oscillate between futuristic melodic lines and precisely placed rhythmic figures. In terms of content, “Utility” draws on utilitarian and transhumanist themes — models for quantifying pleasure, ideas of “gradients of happiness,” and the ethical question of minimizing suffering find concrete counterparts in the sound design. The album is not a concept record in the classic sense, but an open, candid experiment: music as a tool for maximizing experience and as a vehicle for consciousness-expanding moments, presented by Barker on Ostgut Ton in uncompromising form.

Here, Armin van Buuren skillfully fuses stripped-down rhythms with atmospheric sound design; the result is a record that foregrounds electronic textures and warm synth pads. Drawn From Life, originally released on Virgin Records in 2001, was a full collaboration between Brian Eno and J. Peter Schwalm, the two having met through Eno’s longtime friend Rolf Engel. It will carry that joint billing for the first time. The album featured Holger Czukay, Laurie Anderson, Nell Catchpole and Leo Abrahams, and was supported by a tour taking in Porto and Lanzarote before a headline appearance at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival. The rights to Drawn From Life reverted to Opal when Citigroup acquired EMI and the album has not been available since. Eno and Schwalm’s partnership also produced the score to Fear X, an early film from Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson) starring John Turturro and Deborah Kara Unger, and the Japan-only release Music for Onmyo-ji. The 2026 reissue will be available across all formats and includes the bonus track ‘Bloom (Instrumental)’.

The LP *Yours Sincerely Mothership Vinyl Edition*, released on Ghostly International, brings together new material by Japanese composer and producer Haruomi Hosono on a carefully crafted album scheduled for release on September 11, 2026. Hosono produced and mixed the recordings himself; the result is an organic sound design that deliberately moves between acoustic moments and fine electronic textures.

Musically, the work ranges from delicate psych-folk passages to avant-garde pop, with arrangements that leave room for choir-like vocals, subtly used electronics, and melodic guitar elements. Themes such as compassion and motherhood run through the lyrics and compositions; pieces like “Note of Mothership,” “Sincerely,” and “To A Wild Rose” draw on group vocals, ocean imagery, and marching motifs without disturbing the calm of the soundscapes. The balance of warm harmonies and intricate production decisions shapes the sound of the LP.

Haruomi Hosono, co-founder of Yellow Magic Orchestra and Happy End, brings his many years of experience as a style-defining pioneer of Japanese pop and electronic music to this album; his influence spans from hints of exotica to contemporary songcraft. Mastering and other credits list Goh Hotoda as the mastering engineer; the release is also offered in various physical editions, including an elaborate box set featuring golden ginkgo vinyl.

The compilation continues the series’ tradition of bringing together current currents at the intersection of jazz, electronic music, soul, and downtempo, avoiding rigid genre boundaries in favor of open arrangements and meticulous production detail. Characteristic of these collections is the balance between organic instrumentation and modern studio aesthetics: warm Rhodes tones, understated beats, sparse horn parts, and electronic textures blend into compact sequences that work both for relaxed listening and as a resource for DJs and remixers. As a snapshot, the record reflects the wide spectrum of contemporary producers and ensembles who are reimagining jazz traditions while at the same time incorporating club‑ready impulses.

Limited edition of 150 copies on Black Smoke Vinyl, exclusively available from HHV.

Released on Dais, the LP “Quiet Storm HHV Exclusive Black Smoke Vinyl Edition” brings together Space Afrika’s characteristic tension: fragmented rhythms, shimmering guitar textures, and layered string arrangements that shape clear, almost cinematic moments from an atmospheric density. Manchester and Berlin form the duo’s geographical backbone, while their working process is rooted in sharing and interweaving files; the result is a series of brief, poetic vignettes that merge songwriting and sound design.

Musically, the album moves between ambient unease and cosmic downtempo, often carried by restrained vocal interjections and found-sound textures that evoke nighttime bus rides and rain-streaked windows. The compositions are less oriented toward traditional dub-techno templates and more toward interstitial, open-ended forms, creating a soundscape that feels both hazy and carefully constructed.

The tracks address work, loyalty, loss, and love; the album title references family stories and work as an expression of affection. Across 19 tracks, the collection unfolds as a measured yet precisely calibrated narrative, convincingly realizing the duo’s ambition to move beyond the sum of their influences.

The release comprises eleven tracks and was created in Hamburg between 2023 and 2024; here Steinwidder documents a two-year engagement with clarinet and other woodwind instruments. The aesthetic concept combines pared-down woodwind lines with sparingly placed touches of electronics, further condensed in the mastering by Adam Badí Donoval. The artwork features the ink drawing “Reigen” by Gosia Machon. The LP was issued as a limited-edition vinyl release.

Musically, “A Serpent Called Emit” sits between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield: calm, sustained passages open up into surprising moments in which deliberate edits and textured percussion highlight the fleeting nature of the instant. The title composition “A Serpent Called Emit” functions as a central, extended chapter, while the closing piece “A Collection of Knives,” with its running time, leaves room for slowly unfolding motifs. Between these poles lie brief, sketch-like interludes that take clarinet and wooden timbres as a point of departure and obscure them electronically, resulting in a finely articulated yet fragile sonic world.

Liz Harris’s “Music For Two Films About Water” LP is released on Kranky and brings together two recent film scores for short works by Tanja Engelberts and Takashi Makino. Harris, also known as Grouper, combines Mellotron, tape loops, Wurlitzer, and field recordings into two extended instrumental compositions.

“Untitled (from We Exhale)” was created for Tanja Engelberts’s film “We Exhale,” which considers the Rhône from the river’s perspective. Dams, channelization, and industrial pollution have transformed what was once a vibrant landscape into a hydraulic object. Harris translates this process into a sonic world that oscillates between improvisational movements and impressionistic intensifications.

The second composition, “Untitled (from Constellation),” accompanies Takashi Makino’s work of the same name, in which fleeting images, fragments of memory, and water textures flow into one another. The music responds to this floating visual language with slowly shifting layers and a deliberately open form. Harris has worked with filmmakers and visual artists for many years, including a long-running collaboration with Paul Clipson as well as joint projects with Dicky Bahto and Takashi Makino. “Music For Two Films About Water” brings this film-related practice together under her own name on a Kranky release for the first time.

The “Mycelium Bloom” LP by Visions Of Light is released on NuNorthern Soul and comes as a limited vinyl edition featuring artwork by sØlar. The release documents the interplay of a producer trio known for warm, slow-flowing arrangements, bringing together thoughtfully crafted soundscapes, deep bass, and interlocking percussion moments across the LP.

Musically, “Mycelium Bloom” combines elements of downbeat, electronica, and leftfield with Balearic, dubby textures; the arrangements range from reverberant ambient passages to organic-sounding, groove-oriented episodes. The opening track, “Split The Scene,” introduces the set with layered pads and stripped-back rhythms, while “All The Best Things” connects generated atmospheres with exotic splashes of color. On “Perfect You,” Richard Dormer (lyrics and vocals) and Luis Vilca (flute) contribute distinctive performances that give the track additional narrative definition.

All tracks were written and produced by Simon Sheldon, Muzka, and Dan Dub Lounge; mastering was handled by Robin Junga. The combination of live-played instruments, effects-rich sound design, and a clear sense of melody makes the “Mycelium Bloom” LP a tightly woven statement from Visions Of Light on NuNorthern Soul. Fans of restrained, atmospheric electronics will find carefully developed arrangements and richly detailed soundscapes here.

The "Miraggi" LP by Argento will be released on Music From Memory. The debut of the project, initiated by composer and producer David August, plays like an imaginary film score for the Mediterranean, situated between memory, longing, and an intense bond with the landscape. Recorded in phases between Berlin and the Tuscan coast, the material bears a narrative, place-specific character.

Early sketches that took shape along the Tyrrhenian coast, together with a quiet engagement with Italian library music from the 1970s and 1980s, shape the release’s sonic language; traces of jazz fusion and a Balearic atmosphere surface as distant echoes. The material is built around a dialogue between synthesizers, electronic textures, acoustic percussion, and environmental recordings, balancing rhythmic motion with expansive, cinematic composition. Drummer and percussionist Lorenzo Setti contributed performances and co-writing that decisively shaped the record’s rhythmic vocabulary.

The title "Miraggi" (Italian for "mirages") evokes a yearning for the unattainable and denotes a liminal state between perception and imagination; in this way, the record itself becomes a suggestive projection of desire, memory, and the spiritual richness of the sea. The release will be available digitally and on vinyl via Music From Memory in September 2026.

The “Melting Moment Clear Red Vinyl Edition” by Poison Girl Friend is being released on the Sad Disco label as the album’s first-ever vinyl edition, bringing the artist’s earlier work back into physical form. The LP compiles compositions originally created in the early 1990s in a reworked presentation, aimed at enthusiasts and collectors of electronic pop music.

Musically, the material moves between downtempo, trip-hop, and synth-pop; floating synthesizers meet acoustic bass lines and understated guitar arrangements, lending the sound a fragile, almost cinematic atmosphere. Noriko’s bright, slightly smoky voice forms the central contrast to the organic-electronic layers, making the tracks feel both clear-eyed and vulnerable at once. This blend of electronic ambience and pop-informed melody has repeatedly been described as a defining characteristic of the project.

Behind the name Poison Girl Friend is musician Noriko Sekiguchi; on the recordings she is joined by arrangements from Tsuyoshi Saito and technical support from engineers such as Yuji Sugiyama. Sekiguchi also co-leads the production, complemented by acoustic instruments like double bass and twelve-string guitar, which give the songs additional warmth and textural depth. The release on Sad Disco documents the rediscovery of this distinctive chapter in the Japanese pop avant-garde.

The "Defected & Peppermint Jam Present House Masters: M" LP by Mousse T. is released on Defected and presents a focused compilation drawn from the producer’s body of work. The release comprises a 30-track program of his original productions, selected remixes and an exclusive rework; the result highlights Mousse T.’s connection to Peppermint Jam and his feel for groove-based arrangements in the realm of downbeat / electronica / leftfield.

Musically, the selection lines up well-known statement tracks such as "Horny" alongside funkier cuts like "Brother On The Run" and more house-oriented titles like "Ooh Song." These are complemented by more recent works and remix commissions, including Mousse T.’s versions of "Sing It Back" and his own take on "Cola," as well as a brand-new reworked version of Dennis Ferrer’s "Hey Hey." The compilation also documents collaborations and production work Mousse T. has nurtured over the years with artists such as Bootsy Collins, First Choice and Boris Dlugosch, and in doing so reflects the breadth of his work as a producer, remixer and co-founder of Peppermint Jam.

Gigi Masin’s *Wind* LP is released by Numero Group as a 40th Anniversary Edition, bringing the Venetian composer’s 1986 debut back into focus in a newly restored and remastered form. For this edition, the original material was carefully reworked, allowing the fragile balance of minimalist piano, free-form classical-inspired passages, and Balearic New Age to be heard clearly once again. Gigi Masin’s arrangement schemes employ sparse melodic lines and ethereal textures; tracks such as “The Wind Song” succinctly capture the album’s quiet, almost meditative quality and convey a sense of the nocturnal, introspective atmosphere underlying the work.

The release emphasizes the album’s original artwork and historical context: the LP comes in a Tip-On cover featuring the original iconography of the “Bear In Heaven” edition, rendered in reflective silver foil, thereby underscoring the documentary character of this anniversary edition. With *Wind*, Numero Group presents an edition that respectfully brings out both the music-historical significance of Gigi Masin’s debut and its intimate sonic world, giving the work a renewed sense of spatial depth.

The “Portal” LP by Windy & Carl is released by Kranky and marks the long-awaited reissue of their debut album, which the duo originally self-released on cassette in 1994; for this edition, Kranky is also announcing the album’s first-ever vinyl pressing.

The release brings together early sonic models of the duo’s work and lays the groundwork for their later, characteristic explorations of density and space. The 2LP edition gathers longer, extended pieces that do not rely on conventional song structures, instead emphasizing atmospheric progressions and textured guitar layers; tracks such as “Preparation” and “Through The Portal” offer exemplary glimpses into this development.

Musically, “Portal” moves between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, with Windy Weber and Carl Hultgren combining guitar, bass, and keyboards, while occasional vocals become part of the sonic fabric; the recording documents early production choices that served as reference points for later albums. With this release, Kranky returns the recording to a contemporary format and makes an early milestone of the band available on vinyl for the first time.

The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe is being released on DDS as a 2026 repress, bringing back the elusive album by an artist who has been puzzling listeners ever since his early Chain Reaction releases. DDS is reissuing the work and thus putting this collection of archival and new material back in the spotlight; the re-release directly points to Atobe’s unique run across two decades of electronic production.

Musically, “Butterfly Effect” remains an idiosyncratic chapter somewhere between techno, minimal, and tech house: the record opens with a dragging, almost syrupy opener, moves on to a nine-minute, precisely crafted piano house piece, and then dives into dense, drone-like passages. The compositions combine sparse rhythms with textured sonics and contain small but unmistakable signatures that lend the album its timeless aura. The fact that Demdike Stare and the wider DDS circle were the driving force behind its release and reappraisal is reflected in the selection and careful cohesion of the tracks. The “Butterfly Effect” LP by Shinichi Atobe on DDS thus remains a densely documentary yet enigmatic entry in his discography, whose 2026 reissue once again highlights the special quality of this material.

The 12" "Greece 2000" by Three Drives On A Vinyl, released on Music On Vinyl, brings the well-known track together in a new vinyl edition while at the same time highlighting the many contemporary renditions. In addition to the original extended version, the record includes current remixes by, among others, Vintage Culture, Max Styler, KREAM, as well as a remix by Sebastian Davidson & Melosense, which translate the melodic motif into different club and listening contexts. With this edition, Music On Vinyl pays tribute to a classic and presents the release as a limited, colored 12" that is available only in a restricted pressing.

As a composition, "Greece 2000" originates from the Three Drives circle and played a key role in the duo’s rise to prominence; the original melody and distinctive groove are still considered a point of reference today. On this Music On Vinyl release, the thematic elements are reshaped through modern production styles into versions that range from atmospheric, downtempo-leaning moments to club-oriented peak-time arrangements. The combination of original and remixes thus creates an edition that preserves the track’s historical significance while simultaneously opening up new listening perspectives within downbeat, electronica, and leftfield.

The “Mpu108” LP by MPU101 is released on Ilian Tape’s ITX Series and brings together on a single record dense, contemplative electronics that oscillate between downbeat, leftfield, and electronic intimacy. MPU101 favors sparse arrangements: washed-out synth layers meet pointillist, broken rhythms, while individual tracks like “sequential amen” and “skimming compact discs” leave room for extended atmospheric unfolding. “Fallout Systems” functions as the central moment, with slow-building arcs of tension and a clear inclination toward textural density.

The production of the release works with fine shifts in detail; subtle percussion elements and modulated pads create a sober, almost cinematic sense of space without lapsing into empty showmanship. Across the record, introspective fragmentation alternates with calmly pulsing passages, allowing “Mpu108” to function both as a cohesive LP and as a collection of self-contained pieces. With this edition, Ilian Tape provides a consistent addition to its program of electronic miniatures that rely less on immediate hooks than on underlying sonic logics. In the compositions, MPU101 remains restrained yet offers clear, recognizable motifs that only reveal their structure with repeated listening.

The LP "In Lieu" by Gi Gi is being released on Mood Hut and presents a precisely calibrated evolution of his previously free-flowing sound. Here, Gi Gi weaves fragments of sampling, dub, and shoegaze into compositions that oscillate between drift and forward momentum; the production is clearly geared toward tension: rhythm with restraint, atmosphere with structure.

The recordings were made partly in Texas and partly in Australia, which leaves its mark not only geographically but internally as well: the material feels more focused, the percussion shows greater assertiveness, and the bass organizes the space instead of dissolving into the background. Tracks like "Some Of" and "Arque" lean into substantial depth, "Pink Dirt" works with mechanical drums and kaleidoscopic vocal snippets, while on "Downswept" voices gain new contours and, over the title sequence, almost coalesce into a leading line before being dissolved again.

For scene insiders, Gi Gi’s own description “dubwise sampledelia” still holds: a process that destabilizes source material until it refers only to itself. His DJ sets reflect the same sensibility, treating weight, ambience, and transitions with equal patience. The release slots into an international practice that has already connected Gi Gi via labels such as Good Morning Tapes, Quiet Time, and INDEX:Records, as well as through radio platforms and club appearances.

The “Alien Metal” LP by King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard is released on P(Doom) and marks the band’s entry into a more pronounced electronic territory; counted as their 28th studio release, the album came out on August 14, 2026. Across seven tracks such as “Sapience,” the title track “Alien Metal,” “Superheavy, Supercritical,” “Level 5,” and “Atomic Collapse,” the band explores elements of Downbeat, Electronica, and Leftfield, with recurring modular-synth textures and driving breaks giving the material an immediate club and rave aesthetic.

The production leans on dense synth arrangements and frequent rhythmic ruptures that lend the songs a structured yet experimental momentum. Mastering was handled by Joseph Carra; the visual design comes from Jason Galea, whose artwork pinpoints the album’s conceptual framework. The “Alien Metal” LP appears as an LP edition on 180 g vinyl, housed in a high-gloss sleeve with printed inner sleeve and a double-sided pullout poster. Distribution through P(Doom) emphasizes sustainable manufacturing: the wax is made from recycled PET bottles, and the outer protective sleeve is made from 100 percent recycled plastic. This edition documents one of the more radical stylistic directions of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and adds a distinct, electronically focused facet to the band’s body of work.

Before Brian Eno did it, Mort Garson was making discreet music. Julliardeducated and active as a session player in the post-war era, Garson wrote lounge hits, scored the 1969 moon-landing and plush arrangements for Doris Day, and garlanded weeping countrypolitan strings around Glen Campbell's By the Time I Get to Phoenix. In the mid-1970s, a force of nature swept across the continental United States, cutting across all strata of race and class, rooting in our minds, our homes, our culture. It wasn't The Exorcist, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, or even bellbottoms, but instead a book called The Secret Life of Plants. The work of occultist/ former OSS agent Peter Tompkins and former CIA agent/dowsing enthusiast Christopher Bird, the book shot up the bestseller charts and spread like kudzu across the landscape, becoming a phenomenon. Seemingly overnight, the indoor plant business was in full bloom and photosynthetic eukaryotes of every genus were hanging off walls, lording over bookshelves, and basking on sunny window ledges. The science behind Secret Life was specious: plants can hear our prayers, they're lie detectors, they're telepathic, able to predict natural disasters and receive signals from distant galaxies. But that didn't stop millions from buying and nurturing their new plants. Perhaps the craziest claim of the book was that plants also dug music. And whether you purchased a snake plant, asparagus fern, peace lily, or what have you from Mother Earth on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles (or bought a Simmons mattress from Sears), you also took home Plantasia, an album recorded especially for them. Subtitled "warm earth music for plants_and the people that love them," it was full of bucolic, charming, stoner-friendly, decidedly unscientific tunes enacted on the new-fangled device called the Moog. The album gained an enormous cult following decades after its release. Sacred Bones' 2019 reissue helped introduce Plantasia to a wider global audience, sparking a remarkable second life for Garson's unlikely masterpiece. What was once a strange artifact of 1970s plant-mania has become a beloved evergreen, rediscovered and re-embraced by a new generation of listeners and flourishing far beyond its original moment, evolving from obscure novelty into a beloved cult classic and streaming-era touchstone. Now, 50 years after its original release, Mother Earth's Plantasia marks a major anniversary moment. Half a century on, it continues to resonate - an enduring reminder of Mort Garson's ability to make the synthetic feel strangely alive and the whimsical feel oddly profound.

The "Moment Of Contact" 12" by Matthew Dexter has been released on Subplanet and brings together four significant transmissions situated between deep psy, tribally oriented techno aesthetics, and spatial ambience. The record focuses on dense sound textures, deep low-end pressure, and slowly unfolding atmospheres designed for late-night club sessions and introspective sets.

"Contact" dives straight into a wormhole-like cosmos: driving technoid architecture meets Goa-tinged psychedelia, while detailed percussion and richly sculpted pads shape a hypnotic groove. "Lifeforms" operates in an organic way; bass and rhythmic subtleties stretch the groove framework so that it feels more ritual than mechanical. "Deepfield" sits in the realm of deep psy trance, restrained yet progressive, with shimmering overtones and a touch of melancholy in its slow development. "Neurobloom" dissolves the forward momentum into an ambient panorama in which ethnically tinged motifs drift through blooming layers of synths.

As a DJ and producer, Matthew Dexter brings an affinity for trance-inducing grooves, tribal elements, and cinematic expanses to his work; his sets and previous releases reveal a feel for hypnotic arcs of tension and meticulous sound design. The "Moment Of Contact" 12" reinforces this profile and offers material intended equally for late-night dance floors and meditative listening sessions.

Fila Brazillia is the name of the decidedly singular collaboration between Steve Cobby and David McSherry, born in the coastal town of Hull in the UK. Bending—and often outright breaking—more or less every rule in the book, they've been effortlessly blending deep house, downtempo, breaks, ambient, and wry humour, sampling anything they can get their hands on. Their first outing was the 1990 single-sided white label 12" Mermaids, an airy deep house tune featuring a cheeky sample taken from the theme from Robison Crusoe. Since then, they've released a boat load of singles, seven highly regarded full-lengths, and more than 60 remixes for artists such as Radiohead, Busta Rhymes, and Lamb.

Black Market Gardening is their third full-length and marks a creative high-point for the duo. Over nine tracks, Fila Brazillia guides you through hazy, bass-heavy trip hop, cosmic synth lines, brisk breakbeats, funky guitar riffs, and even touch of drum 'n bass (it's the mid-1990s after all...). There's just so much to take in, leaving the listener wondering where the samples end and the live instrumentation begins. Yes, Fila Brazillia's output fits squarely within the chill-out tradition prevalent in the UK at that point in time, but their unmatched creativity and boundless approach to the studio process makes their music truly timeless.

Black Market Gardening is available as a 30th anniversary edition for the first time since 2001.

The Group Therapy LP by Above & Beyond is released on Anjunabeats and condenses the trio’s range into a coherent, melody‑driven sequence. On the record, electronic arrangements merge with calm, downbeat‑oriented passages and left‑leaning, experimental flourishes, revealing both the producers’ electronica and leftfield sides.

The album comprises 15 tracks, including the singles “Sun & Moon” and “Thing Called Love”; vocal contributions come from Richard Bedford and Zoë Johnston, whose voices are frequently cited as defining elements. Above & Beyond rely on a carefully balanced interplay of songwriting and production: supported by synthetic textures, pared‑down beats, and orchestral passages, the songs offer both introspective downbeat moments and emphatic electronic climaxes.

With Group Therapy, Anjunabeats releases an LP that broadens the label’s musical focus and demonstrates the fusion of club‑oriented structures with introspective compositions. The emphasis on downbeat / electronica / leftfield is underscored by the dynamic balance between vocal tracks and instrumental interludes, allowing the album to function as a coherent listening experience beyond a mere succession of singles.

The “Familiar” LP by Jennifer Loveless is released on Running Back Incantations and marks her debut as an album artist. All tracks were written and produced by Jennifer Loveless; mixing was handled in collaboration with Corey Kikos, and mastering was done by Lopazz. The release presents precisely arranged compositions in which Loveless’s sensitive vocals and carefully placed electronic tones complement one another, while the artwork was created by GAM.

Musically, “Familiar” moves in the space between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, shaping it into calm, contemplative moments that at the same time convey an intimate sense of imagery. The songs revolve around time and memory: encounters with the familiar as it changes, retrospections without any desire to return, and small details that seem to remain unchanged. Tracks like “If you hear this, I love you” and the title piece “Familiar” connect poetic lyrics with stripped-back, often atmospheric arrangements that leave room for personal associations.

The LP offers a compact sequence of pieces that explores the balance between closeness and distance, repeatedly creating moments of recognition. Listeners who appreciate the melodic calm of electronic music will find with “Familiar” on Running Back Incantations a carefully crafted debut that combines keen observational detail with a warm production sound.

Hey ho, let's go!

The “Peacewave” EP, released on Quirk by Berlin-based Norwegian producers Alexander Skancke and Henriku, marks their return to Skancke’s own label and reunites the duo after their last highly successful joint release in 2023 (QRK009 “Happy Birthday” EP).

On this EP, they team up with Ethan Dalziel, guitarist of Berlin post-punk band Klang, adding an eclectic expansion of the label’s genre palette to the Quirk catalog and once again proving just how open-minded the producers are musically.

Across four tracks, the record develops a focus that fuses old-school electronic elements from electro and new wave, house and techno, with rock-inflected components, without getting lost in mere genre formulas.

Highlights include “ATM,” with Henriku’s characteristic voice giving it strong recognition value, as well as “Orange Sunshine.” Both are enhanced by guitar parts from Ethan Dalziel, providing an organic complement to the tracks’ electronic framework.
The title track “Peacewave” lends its name to the release and is an absolute dancefloor filler. The final track on the flip side, “Ragnarok” (B2), stands out with clever, precise sampling—a patient, steadily building party starter.

A thoroughly successful EP and a crystal-clear recommendation!

The “Filling Your Silence” LP by J.D. Slater is released on Dark Entries and brings the soundtracks from the early Raging Stallion films to vinyl in newly remastered form. J.D. Slater wrote, produced, and recorded the material in 1999 at H.O.H. Studios in San Francisco; the remastering was handled by Frederic Aldstat. Dark Entries presents nine tracks that oscillate between driving techno arrangements, sparse minimal elements, and tech house–inspired grooves, sharply accentuating the original material.

Musically, “Filling Your Silence” offers a blend of sleazy beats and trance-like moments: opener “Seduction” starts with a synthetic pan flute, builds into wild groove passages, and releases the tension in a jazzy electric piano vamp. “Running With Scissors” pushes the tempo with skeletal breakbeats and a portamento-heavy lead, while “Mercy” and “Mercy (2nd Movement)” explore bleep-leaning textures that recall early ambient and Warp aesthetics. The record focuses on endless groove development and subtle arrangement details that preserve its soundtrack character. The vinyl edition includes a single-sided insert with archival Raging Stallion press materials. Once described as “quite possibly the best music for sex ever written,” “Filling Your Silence” remains a distinctive testament to Slater’s electronic work.

A collection of previously unreleased material (between '75 & '90) by Enno Velthuys.
Compiled by Hessel Veldman.

"Hello boys and girls, my name is Enno Velthuys and I am the idiot of the group (and also the
most intelligent, the most sensitive, the most artistic and he who has to carry the heaviest
load, because this boy's luggage, DAMN, it's pretty heavy).
Luckily, I had already been through a lot when I got this ‘knock in the head’. Sex, drugs, lots
of rock and roll and a sunny childhood with beautiful views I look back on with nostalgia.
Later on I lost my focus and I only thought about one thing: how to get out of it (that damn
problem, my shifted reality, my blind spot, that piece of poisoned apple of forbidden
knowledge choking my throat)!

But I can't think my way out of it, psychiatrists are just ordinary people, and very heavy pills
suppress everything (I'll just take my pills) FLASH!

You ask me what it takes to create music or art that is meaningful and tells a story. It’s hard
when you haven't had enough setbacks, nothing more than maybe a little blues. I'm not
saying it was the right path, but at least I've come a long way. And now I'm a fish in a pool.
Please understand that this is very disturbing. It's not my waterway. A fish belongs in a river.
And my star sign is fish. >))D

See you soon, EnnO"

Sakura is without doubt the most loved and lauded entry in Susumu Yokota’s catalogue.

The music unravels like cascades of petals falling from the eponymous cherry blossom trees. Yokota intended to ‘express ki-do-ai-raku (the four emotions; joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness) through music’, and throughout Sakura, the effect fluctuates between profound tranquillity, hesitation, melancholy and joy with ease, addressing the fickle nature of human emotion, while transcending the inclination to label moods entirely.

Sakura became Yokota’s best selling album. It was greeted with universal acclaim, lauded by Philip Glass and Brian Eno and launched Yokota internationally.

‘A bittersweet beauty, heightened by the sadness that all things must one day end.’ - Martyn Pepperell

The “Sirimiri” LP by Rafael Anton Irisarri is being released on Umor Rex and brings the tape, originally issued in 2018, to vinyl for the first time; the edition has been newly remastered for this release and marks the final installment in a series of reissues celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary. Umor Rex emphasizes the significance of Irisarri’s relationship with the label and deliberately situates the release within the context of the anniversary editions the label issued as special releases in 2026. The LP edition expands Rafael Anton Irisarri’s presence in the Umor Rex catalog and is offered as a physical LP, with accompanying digital formats available through the usual distribution channels.

Musically, “Sirimiri” documents four long, self-contained pieces that, through loops, repetition, and subsequence-based sound structures, create an altered perception of time; the title, based on the Basque word for drizzle, serves as an apt metaphor for the finely detailed, melancholic textures. Rafael Anton Irisarri wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered the recording at Black Knoll Studio in New York; Carl Hultgren contributes guitars on “Sonder,” and Taylor Jordan adds electric piano parts on “Mountain Stream.” The original cassette presented the four pieces as a continuous 36-minute loop, later supplemented with a continuous mix as a bonus. Artwork and design are by Daniel Castrejón. “Sirimiri” inhabits the realm of downbeat / electronica / leftfield and translates Irisarri’s sensitive, repetition-based sound aesthetic into a physical vinyl format.

The "Ringer" LP by Four Tet is released on Text Records as an expanded version of the EP material first issued in 2008, recasting the tracks in a reworked edition that Kieran Hebden has personally remastered and supplemented with two contemporary cuts. With this edition, Text Records presents a tightly focused selection in which the eponymous title track "Ringer" is as central as the instrumental pieces that see Four Tet leaning into precise 4/4 arrangements and tentative synth arpeggios.

Musically, "Ringer" sits somewhere between techno, minimal and tech house: rock-solid kick patterns intertwine with delicate melodic threads and recurring, hypnotic motifs that come into particularly sharp focus on tracks like "Ribbons" and the title track "Ringer." The production favors stripped-back layering and subtle detail work, allowing the pieces to unfold their full impact both on the dancefloor and in focused, attentive listening.

For the vinyl edition, the record has been carefully cut; the release also includes a booklet featuring previously unpublished photographs by Jason Evans, which expand the visual accompaniment to the music and round out the edition as a tangible statement. With "Ringer," Four Tet and Text Records deliver a documented waystation in Hebden’s body of work, bringing together the roots and development of his dance-oriented output.

The "Fahrenheit Fair Enough 25th Anniversary Edition" double LP by Telefon Tel Aviv is released on Ghostly International and presents the band’s debut album in expanded form. The release supplements the original tracks with archival material from the early period and comes in a gatefold edition; the record includes a download code with additional tracks.

Telefon Tel Aviv — the duo of Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper — pursued a distinctive approach on their debut, somewhere between IDM, ambient textures, and song-oriented melodies. Characteristic elements include intricate harmonic figures, warm Rhodes and guitar washes, and precise, organic‑sounding percussion that anchors the electronic arrangements. This balance between vulnerable melodicism and detailed sound design shapes the compositions and makes the album a cornerstone of their body of work.

The reissue not only documents the project’s musical signature, but also offers insight into its formative phase through previously unreleased material. The original lineup, guest contributions, and the production techniques used remain central points of reference; the artwork and meticulous presentation round out the package and make the edition a comprehensive tribute to the album.

The “The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner” LP by Popol Vuh is released on Latency and marks the first official release of the soundtrack composed by Florian Fricke and Popol Vuh for Werner Herzog’s 1974 documentary film. The previously unreleased score accompanies the slow, almost floating flights of Swiss ski flyer and woodcarver Walter Steiner; Latency is releasing the material on vinyl, digitally, and via streaming, with the release dated for November 13, 2026. This edition forms part of the long-standing collaboration between Herzog and Popol Vuh, which created defining sonic moments in films such as “Aguirre, the Wrath of God” and “Fitzcarraldo.”

Latency supplements the original score with three contemporary interpretations by james K, ML Buch, and Lorenzo Senni. As variations, they establish a dialogic connection spanning five decades while newly emphasizing the meditative and contemplative aspects of the compositions. The release includes both the original score material and the remixes, was finalized at Dubplates & Mastering, features artwork by HelloMe, was curated by Souleymane Said, and includes explanatory texts by Karla Clemmensen; distribution is handled by !K7 Music. Overall, the “The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner” LP on Latency presents a carefully curated edition that brings Popol Vuh’s delicate sonic language into a contemporary context.

Armin van Buuren’s “Shivers” LP is released by Music On Vinyl and documents the Dutch producer’s second studio album in a premium vinyl edition. The record is pressed on 180-gram audiophile vinyl and comes in a deluxe gatefold cover with spot varnish; an insert with photos and credits complements the package, along with secret inscriptions in the run-out grooves. The edition is limited to 1,000 individually numbered copies.

Musically, Armin van Buuren presents a range of styles on “Shivers,” spanning downbeat, electronica and leftfield, with song-oriented vocals and electronic arrangements held in equal balance. The album includes the best-known tracks “Serenity,” “Shivers” and “Who Is Watching” featuring Nadia Ali, as well as collaborations with Ray Wilson, Gabriel & Dresden, Remy and Roland Klinkenberg, Justine Suissa and Jan Vayne. In 2021, the title track “Shivers” was honored as the number-one track in the 20-year history of A State of Trance during the show’s anniversary episode #1000. The Music On Vinyl edition places an emphasis on the presentation of the material and enhances the album with additional design details that appeal equally to listeners and collectors.

The “Invisible Escape / Greatest Treasure” double LP by Fuga Ronto is released on Phantom Island and for the first time brings both albums together in a compact anniversary edition. In this 10 Years Jubilee Edition, the release combines the 2016 album “Invisible Escape” and 2021’s “Greatest Treasure,” marking the first chapter of the band’s history ten years after the project was first introduced by Tobias Schweizer and Ron Shiller.

The compilation documents Fuga Ronto’s characteristic blend of Balearic moods, cosmic aesthetics, synth-driven pop, dub elements, and subtly disco reminiscences. Selected tracks have been remastered, preserving the warmth and character of the original productions while achieving greater sonic definition. This editorial sequencing makes it possible to follow the musical handwriting of the two records in one continuous flow.

The edition is complemented by two previously unreleased tracks from the original sessions, “One Thing Leads To Another” and “Deconstruction Again,” as well as an exclusive dub version of “Greatest Treasure.” A printed insert with archival studio photos rounds out the package on Phantom Island and turns the double LP into a documentary look at the first ten years of Fuga Ronto.

“Ames Bleues” by Omerta is being released on LP by the labels Carton / Stantard In‑Fi / Zamzam and corresponds to the edition listed under catalog numbers bâton18 / ZZ94 / STD46; the EAN is 03770002812341. In advance listings on streaming services, the record is categorized under chanson française, which positions the release within a traditionally text-centered context.

Because detailed information is scarce online, the lineup and production credits are not widely documented at this point; this makes the album interesting for collectors and listeners who follow new, hard-to-pin-down works. From its classification as chanson française, one can infer that the songs place strong emphasis on lyrics and melody and may combine contemporary arrangements with classic song structures—a combination that, in recent French-language releases, often goes along with sparse instrumentation and a prominently foregrounded vocal presence.

With this LP, Omerta moves in a direction that links proximity to the chanson tradition with modern production approaches; the release is therefore likely to appeal to listeners seeking nuanced, text-driven albums. The collaboration between the participating labels Carton, Stantard In‑Fi, and Zamzam underscores the independent character of the release and points to a curated, niche-oriented approach to putting out records.

Eric Hilton’s *The Easy Underground* LP is being released on Montserrat House and showcases the Thievery Corporation co-founder in a musical setting that combines easy listening, bossa nova, Brazilian rhythms, and electronic sound aesthetics. Rather than adhering to a fixed formula, Hilton works with deeper grooves, spacious arrangements, and a deliberately relaxed sense of pacing.

The album comprises 13 tracks and initially took shape through instrumental sketches such as “Soft Focus” and the title track, “The Easy Underground.” As the project progressed, vocals moved more prominently to the forefront. Natalia Clavier, Hilton’s longtime collaborator, sings on nine tracks in several languages, changing her expression, tone, and intensity from song to song. Her contributions range from the velvety ballad “Promise Me” to the rhythmically dynamic “Alma Boa.”

“Innocent Eyes” also highlights the production’s open-ended approach: an initially bluesy foundation meets sitar and strings, while instrumental passages such as “Silent Samba” and “Brooklyn Sicilians” give the vocal tracks room to breathe. On *The Easy Underground*, Eric Hilton combines his experience in downtempo and trip-hop with a fondness for elegant, cinematic soundscapes. The LP will be released by Montserrat House on November 20, 2026.

The “February’s Album” LP by Hysterical Love Project is released on Motion Ward and presents ten warm compresses whose sound is suffused with palpable moisture and a fine hiss. The production focuses on atmospheric density and a careful balance between melancholy and reconciliation.

Downcast guitars are aerated by sanguine choruses, while fluttering electronic fragments, referred to as e-waste, punctuate the arrangements; a steady low-end throb carries the tracks. Contentment pulses alongside delirium; sweetness ripens into pressure, while questions of doubt and inner calm are reflected in sparsely used melodies and open sonic spaces. The LP moves within the tension between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield, unfolding a restrained yet compelling presence.

The material was written and recorded by Brooklyn Mellar and Ike Zwanikken; physical distribution is handled by Rubadub. Musically, echoes of Chris & Cosey, Labradford, City Centre Offices, and YL Hooi can be detected, while Motion Ward’s “February’s Album” maintains an independent, muted study of electronic density.

Lyrically, “February’s Album” poses recurring questions about doubt and inner calm; vivid passages about an open window that lets insects in and takes the light out shape the mood. Fine arrangement details ensure that a handful of motifs achieve a powerful atmospheric effect.

Jay Mitta’s “Kazi Kwanza” LP on Nyege Nyege Tapes pushes further the speed and precision the Tanzanian producer is known for. Regarded as a key figure in the Singeli scene from Dar es Salaam, Jay Mitta leans here into an instrumental dramaturgy in which staccato rhythms at tempos beyond 180 BPM are interwoven with dense melodic writing. The result feels both raw and meticulously arranged: short, punchy motifs collide with intricate lead synths and unexpected harmonic turns.

The record comprises 13 tracks and showcases Mitta’s penchant for compact, catchy forms; pieces like “Sawa” and “27” highlight the connection between breakneck percussion and melodic playfulness, while the more elegiac passages of “Mwanzo” reveal a more reflective side. Between breakcore‑adjacent outbursts and hints of hardcore piano, Jay Mitta also offers moments of baroque‑like incisiveness and pitch‑bent top lines that give the tracks a distinct identity. Across the release, precise arrangements, pointed tempo shifts, and an eye for dramatic micro‑details come together.

Mastering was handled by Declared Sound; the artwork comes from Moroto Hvy Ind and Marc Armand. With “Kazi Kwanza,” Nyege Nyege Tapes presents a compact, high‑energy LP that documents the contemporary Singeli aesthetic from Dar es Salaam in a tightly focused form.

The “Apiformes” LP by Polygonia and Simon Popp is released on Squama and marks the second collaboration between the two Munich-based musicians. Drawn from improvised live stems recorded at four concerts, Polygonia and Simon Popp weave together acoustic percussion, sparse synth figures, and vocal fragments into an organically evolving sonic structure that audibly strives to evoke the image of a single, pulsating sound body. Opener “Superorganism” opens up the space with driving percussive dynamics and a distant vocal line, while tracks like “Honeydrop” and “Nectar Flow” leave room for floating synth motifs and concentrated rhythmic interventions; quick, spontaneous decisions in performance create a vivid immediacy that interweaves jazz and electronic influences.

The LP is pressed on 180 g vinyl and comes with individually designed stickers; the pressing is a limited edition, indicated on the physical copies. Polygonia (Lindsey Wang) and Simon Popp write, produce, and mix the material together; recording is by Niklas Bühler, Polygonia, and Simon Popp, with mastering by Niklas Bühler and artwork by Maximilian Schachtner. With “Apiformes,” Squama presents a thoughtful, atmospherically dense chapter in both artists’ bodies of work that brilliantly combines improvisational intuition with precise sound design.

Released on Trule, the Morning Birds And Distant Drums 12" by Turning Jewels Into Water combines precise percussion with expansive electronic soundscapes, focusing on rhythmic storytelling and textural depth. On this record, organic drum impulses intertwine with electronic loops and atmospheric synthesizers, creating pieces that oscillate between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield. Turning Jewels Into Water rely on sparse arrangements and pointed sound design elements, giving the individual motifs space to unfold, while the production on Trule emphasizes the architectural impact of the compositions.

Turning Jewels Into Water is the duo of Val Jeanty and Ravish Momin; their collaboration grew out of an improvisation at Pioneer Works in 2017 and is guided by the AACM principle “Ancient to the Future.” Jeanty, born in Haiti and active in the U.S., and Momin, born in India and now based in New York, integrate spiritual practices such as Voodoo and Hoodoo, as well as rhythmic traditions from Mbalax to drum circles, into a modern electronic vocabulary. For both live and studio settings they use, alongside Ableton, primarily innovative percussion controllers and trigger-based drumming techniques, giving the tracks on Morning Birds And Distant Drums an immediate yet contemporary presence.

The compilation "Skyrager Presents Coconut Dreams Volume One" has been released on Mr Bongo as a gatefold double LP. Collector, producer, and DJ Skyrager, known as Danny McLewin (one half of Psychemagik), has curated a soundtrack-like selection that functions as an imaginary tropical retreat. The compilation draws on carefully chosen tracks, some familiar and some rediscovered, which in sequence create a calm, dreamlike atmosphere.

Musically, the compilation moves between sun-drenched folk idyll, dreamy soul, astral ambient textures, and smooth AOR. Tracks like The Carmets’ “Silver Moon Beach” and Angela Bofill’s “Under The Moon And Over The Sky” sit alongside Keiko Nosaka & George Murasaki with koto-infused prog rock, Fred Bryan & The All Stars’ politically charged soul, and O’Donel Levy’s warm guitar work. Vinyl-exclusive tracks and the breadth of arrangements underline the curatorial signature and open up space for unexpected sonic encounters.

The sequencing emphasizes a fluid transition from organic rhythms to ethereal synth layers and delicate horn arrangements, allowing the record to function as a continuous journey. As a Mr Bongo release, the compilation also documents meticulous archival work and Skyrager’s keen ear for gems beyond the mainstream.

The “Quiet Pieces” LP by Abul Mogard is released on Soft Echoes and marks the beginning of the artist’s personal label project. Abul Mogard, the alias of musician Guido Zen, combines processed archival finds with new arrangements on this release, creating muted, contemplative sonic spaces. The pieces are partly based on slowed-down, repurposed fragments of old 78 rpm recordings, which are woven together with analog synthesizers and carefully placed, sparse textures into a cohesive atmosphere.

Musically, “Quiet Pieces” sits somewhere between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield; the production relies on slow-building harmonies, subtly dissonant elements, and expansive reverberant spaces that connect slow motion and nostalgia. The album comprises five extended compositions, including “Following a Dream,” the meditative opening piece; the form-conscious suite “In a Studded Procession”; and the nearly eleven-minute “Like a Bird,” which, as the extended closer, leaves room for evolving synthesis motifs. Overall, Abul Mogard delivers an uncluttered, introspective recording on Soft Echoes that brings together archival material and modern electronics into a quiet, detail-oriented listening experience.

The “Too Much” LP by Bonaparte is being released on Bonaparte as a vinyl reissue, bringing back the 15-track debut that left a lasting mark on Berlin in 2008. The new edition includes the complete tracklist with the title anthem “Too Much,” which quickly established itself as the band’s signature piece, along with further highlights like “Do You Want to Party?” and “I Can’t Dance.”

Musically, “Too Much” documents the effervescent collision of Tobias Jundt’s distinctive deadpan vocals, jagged guitar riffs, rumbling bass, vintage synthesizers, and restless dance grooves. Rock’n’roll, electroclash, and dance-punk merge into a sound that deliberately stays on the edge of genre boundaries, defined by catchy, often absurd choruses. The songs function as provocative scores: hooky, over-the-top, and laced with dark, sharply pointed lyrics.

The release reflects not only the album itself, but also Bonaparte’s visual and performative world: circus costumes, provocative show formats, striptease, and queer aesthetics have been part of the live concept from the very beginning and helped propel the band from illegal shows at Alexanderplatz to festival stages and international attention. This reissue by Bonaparte captures the raw, sweaty chapter of a particular Berlin scene and brings the original’s energy back to life on vinyl.

The “The Planets” LP by Ivan The Tolerable is released on Riot Season and continues Oli Heffernan’s project in a field of tension between downbeat, electronica, and leftfield. Ivan The Tolerable remains true to its stripped-down, texture-oriented approach: the material is characterized by a taut, atmospheric density in which minimal rhythms meet expansive synthesizers and subtle sonic details. Riot Season continues its series of distinctive, experimental productions with this release, positioning “The Planets” firmly within the label’s contemporary avant-garde universe.

According to the announcement, the album offers a concentrated sequence of tracks that leaves room for slow development, dramatic arcs of tension, and surprising textural turns; this direction points directly to the balance between downbeat intimacy and a leftfield experimental approach. An album stream is available in advance on SoundCloud, allowing listeners to form initial impressions before purchasing. The physical LP edition underscores Riot Season’s ongoing commitment to carefully curated releases and adds another chapter to Ivan The Tolerable’s discography, complementing his multifaceted body of work.

Rooted in raw, minimal, dubby and emotional music, the Amsterdam-based Label Delver focuses on expressive recordings rather than polished productions. The label's first vinyl EP grew out of a shared passion for hardware jams between three friends. Holotropic opens with "Sabra", a patient, raw dub techno cut. Sasemoi's "Those Who Seek" heads into more ethereal territory. "Binary" goes into Sasemoi's more experimental side. Closing, Vantropic's "Rift" shifts towards ambient and IDM, built from textured sounds and open space.

Released on Void Control, Zar and Void Control’s *Temporary EP* brings two musical perspectives into direct exchange. Zar is the alias of Alex Smoke, who uses it for more heavily percussive and rhythm-focused work. For the label’s third EP, the project was revived to develop new material together and interpret each other’s respective working methods.

At the center are Zar’s “Geodesic” and Void Control’s “Temporary,” each expanded with a remix by the other artist. The result is an interplay of precise rhythms, electronic density, and the characteristic ideas of both artists. The release also includes the previously unreleased Void Control dubplate track “Tasm,” adding another distinct facet to the concept.

Alex Smoke has previously released work under his own name on R&S and Soma and also runs the Hum&Haw label. With *Temporary EP*, he translates his rhythm-focused work as Zar into a collaborative format, while Void Control opens its own tracks up for treatment by the guest artist. Musically, the spectrum ranges from synth-driven pop hooks to driving, fully arranged dance tracks. It features acts that shaped the genre in the European charts, including Modern Talking, C.C. Catch, Silent Circle, Fancy, Linda Jo Rizzo, Lian Ross, and The Twins. Many tracks are presented in extended or 12" versions, allowing the record to preserve the original club character of the songs.

The selection feels curated and tightly focused in time: ZYX continues the series that documents individual years of the Euro disco era, thereby underscoring the stylistic range between well-crafted pop and electronically driven dance sounds. For listeners interested in mid-1980s production aesthetics, this compilation offers a concise overview of striking melodies, remix versions, and the club practices of the era.

The “Windy & Carl Meet Optigan Conservatory” LP by Windy & Carl With Optigan Conservatory is released on Kranky and marks the first joint work by these four long-standing companions from Michigan’s independent scene. The deliberately misleading title does not refer to a meeting with an institution, but to the collective sound experiment the musicians embarked on in the final days of 2024. The result is a recording that plays as a single, cohesive whole and documents an almost hyper-natural creation process.

Musically, drifting, guitar-derived ambient textures merge with electric piano layers and synth-like beds; the compositions move between spaciousness and density. The sound aesthetic recalls early Windy & Carl releases as well as the formative phase of the Kranky catalog, without merely copying them out of nostalgia. Instead, a hermetic sound emerges in which individual elements dissolve into atmospheric clarity.

The arrangements rely on slow development and fine layering, opening up a wide field of tone and resonance. Windy & Carl With Optigan Conservatory bring fragments of their respective sonic languages together here, creating a collaborative recording that is more than the sum of its parts and carefully balances the participants’ characteristic approaches to ambient music.

The "Coalesce" LP by Now Always Fades was released on Northern Underground and bears the catalog number NU008.

The work continues the project’s already familiar, contemplative signature and moves between downtempo and trip-hop elements with pronounced ambient pop inflections; heavy, throbbing basslines meet reverb-drenched drum tracks and delicate, sparkling textures that give the songs depth and space. The compositions rely less on dramatic breaks than on subtle arcs of tension, resulting in a calm yet precise flow.

A hallmark of the release is the collaboration with guest voices: on the title track, Olive Kimoto steps to the fore, adding soulful, finely tuned vocal lines to the production. The material was written, produced, and mixed by Xavier Bacash; mastering was handled by David Walker, and the artwork is by Laurent Wians. Lyrically, "Coalesce" explores conflict and the dynamics of relationships without resorting to cliché.

With this full-length album, Now Always Fades expands its sonic palette with additional vocal facets while remaining true to the introspective, electronically driven aesthetic that was already evident on earlier releases.

The white vinyl edition of the “Ltdblbl025” LP by Borka & The Gang was released on Ltd, W/Lbl and marks a clear milestone for the label: its first LP in the catalog, limited to 300 copies and issued as 2×12" white vinyl, with each copy hand-stamped. The edition combines the understated aesthetic of a white-label release with the care of a small-label production and places Boris Graus, the driving force behind Borka & The Gang, at the center.

Musically, “Ltdblbl025” moves through 12 tracks of house, jazz house, and deep-house-leaning electronica; the album combines electronic production with the character of live-played instruments. Boris Graus handled keyboards, glockenspiel, and percussion, joined by contributions from Malou de Sel (vocals), Jürgen Leutnant (saxophone), Bruno dela Rosa (bass), Dario Cei (flute), and Bruno Freitas (guitar). Mastering was handled by Salz, the records were manufactured by Rand Muzik, and distribution is provided by Inch By Inch Distribution. Overall, the release presents a broad range spanning groove-driven, jazz-inflected arrangements and deeper atmospheric moments that seek to bridge club appeal and instrumental texture.

Be The Mountain (2026) is the latest release from Detroit-based musician STS. The record explores a serene and introspective world shaped by organically morphed textures and slowly evolving soundscapes.

While largely drumless, the album maintains a subtle rhythmic backbone - not through traditional percussion, but through modulated pads, shifting synths, and carefully sculpted ambience. The music moves and breathes without overt propulsion, finding tension and momentum through tone, density, and motion rather than beats.

Much of the record was written during a period of sustained physical and mental strain. A time when daily effort fought against perceived limits. Instead of responding with heavier or more aggressive material, the music became a quiet counterweight to the intensity. These tracks function as an escape from chaos. They are built from patience, repetition, and a gradual transformation.

The title reflects a central idea behind the record: confronting something that initially feels insurmountable, only to realize that the enduring force is the one within us all.

Be The Mountain is about endurance, not as struggle, but as presence.
