The “Be Yourself” 12" by Pancratio, released on Faith Beat, presents four compact club tracks that carry the artist’s sound forward in a focused way. The EP includes the tracks “Be Yourself,” “Take Me To The Music,” “Catch Me,” and “It’s Time,” forming a concise addition to Pancratio’s previous album “Automatic House” on the same label. With this 12", Faith Beat issues a compact, clearly structured single that expands the label’s catalog with another dancefloor-oriented release.

Musically, Pancratio relies on driving, hypnotic house arrangements in his familiar signature style: the title track opens with a purposeful groove, while “Take Me To The Music” carries the pulsing flow across the A-side. On the B-side, “Catch Me” and “It’s Time” provide a coherent continuation of the hypnotic pulse, dominated by rhythmic precision and a deeply rooted feel for flow and tension. The production remains clear and direct; Pancratio works with stripped-back elements that unfold their impact on the dancefloor. For fans of his previous work, the “Be Yourself” EP on Faith Beat is a clear, concentrated expression of his current club aesthetic and adds four considered tracks to the label’s program that are effective both in DJ sets and when played on loop.

The “Pixel” 12-inch by Intellitronic, released on Rubadub, sheds light on a largely hidden early phase of Heinrich Mueller, who is also behind projects such as Drexciya, Arpanet, and Dopplereffekt. The four tracks date from the early 1990s and combine stripped-down electronic precision with a clear connection to the printing and imaging technology of the era.

The title track, “Pixel,” had previously been available exclusively on the 1993 CD “Magic Tracks (Deep Detroit Volume Two),” compiled by Juan Atkins. “Stencil,” “Inkjet,” and “Hex Colour Code,” on the other hand, had remained unreleased and now appear for the first time alongside the previously known track on Rubadub’s 12-inch. As a result, “Pixel” offers an unusual portrait of Mueller’s work beyond his better-known aliases.

Musically, Intellitronic focuses on rigorously programmed rhythms, dry machine-funk structures, and a cool, functional sonic aesthetic. The track titles draw on terms associated with printing processes, color definition, and digital imaging, while still acknowledging their roots in the early electro tradition. The distinctive character of this release lies precisely in its combination of technical austerity, sparse arrangements, and Detroit-influenced rhythm work. With “Pixel,” Rubadub presents four archival recordings that make Mueller’s early electronic language accessible in compact form.

The “Krux” LP by Vril is released on Delsin and marks a deliberate change of direction: on this 13-track album, Vril expands his familiar, dub-driven sonic foundation into a densely layered electronic sound and, for the first time, brings several close collaborations to the forefront. Five tracks were created together with Aurora Halal, Verraco, René Wise, AZARI, and ATEQ, causing the album’s structure to oscillate between atmospheric, rhythmically offset moments and sharply defined, driving arrangements; the advance track “Signum Ex Auro” serves as an example that sketches out this balance. Vril’s compositional fingerprint remains central throughout: subtle delay architectures, deep bass spaces, and modular textures that merge generations of analog and digital sounds.

Beyond its musical direction, “Krux” also puts a strong emphasis on its presentation: the artwork once again comes from Daniel Martin Diaz, the layout is handled by Erris Huigens, and the lacquer cut was done by Andreas Kauffelt; the release is distributed via Clone Distribution. For vinyl buyers there is a standard 2xLP edition as well as a limited version, with the exact vinyl configuration—and the note that the track “Rack Rash” is not included on the record—remaining part of the physical package. With its combination of collaborative tracks, artful visual language, and Vril’s clear production signature, “Krux” positions itself on Delsin as a distinctive electronic statement LP.

The zombie strikes back with a new EP. After months of studio work on his forthcoming album, he & Record Makers have decided to release 'Nightcall' as an ap‚ritif. 'Nightcall' is the first song Kavinsky provides vocals for, a duet you might say, featuring the zombie and his girlfriend, a.k.a. Lovefoxxx from CSS! The song was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and mixed by SebastiAn. The remix of this song, by a mysterious Dustin N?guyen, is an outstanding pop song that everyone can enjoy. On the other side, Kavinsky has produced the fantastic 'Pacific Coast Highway', in which we follow a ghostcar on the highway. The remix job is by French avant-garde producer Jackson. His epic 9 minute long version is unmissable!

How could we talk about Kavinsky without evoking the movie that introduced his music to the general public? Dazzling success of the independant film industry of the last decade, "Drive" is the kind of movies in which the soundtrack takes a front seat role. As in his previous realisations, Nicolas Winding Refn took great care, with the help of Cliff Martinez (former drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) to select the tracks that would feature in his latest movie. It's in this way he picked Nightcall for the opening scene, and we soon cannot tell anymore if the music responds to the picture or the contrary.

Kavinsky's long-awaited debut album Outrun features 13 tracks, including 8 previously unreleased and some reworks. From the first notes, we can hear Paul Hahn (manager of Daft Punk) recounting an introduction to the adventures of Kavinsky. Warm and electric, Blizzard makes its entrance and sets the tone before allowing ProtoVision to take its place, which with its nervous and synthetic melody was the first excerpt of Outrun that whas released on an EP. Then arrives Odd Look, the first vocal song of the record, which unveils a mysterious funky voice that can remind the groove of Marvin Gaye or Prince. It's then Rampage‘s turn to take us with its menacing orchestral atmosphere like in Dragon Ball Z ; after what comes the persuasive beat of Suburbia on which notorious Havoc from Mobb Deep lent his voice. The upgraded version of Testarossa Autodrive confirms the efficacity of this unstoppable melody, and it's at this point we find Nightcall again, the famous ballad produced by Guy-Manuel from Daft Punk and featuring Lovefoxxx from CSS. Dead Cruiser arrives then, muscled yet melancholic, followed by Grand Canyon which takes us with its electrical ritournelle. The voice of Tyson, the funk revelation from UK, transformed the instrumental First Blood into a génuine hit. The rythmic and melodious Roadgame leads us to Endless, which gently closes this long-awaited revealing first opus, with as a conclusion a narrated epilogue by Paul Hahn again...

The “Emotional Data EP” 12" by Young Adults, released on Path, presents four tracks by the Netherlands-based duo and occupies the realm of Electro, with pronounced influences from Techno and Tech House. The release strikes a balance between forward-driving grooves and thoughtful depth, showing in its compact tracks how club-ready energy and introspective moments can be brought together.

Each track brings its own energy: at times, precisely placed kicks and pulsating sequences take center stage; at others, darker, expansive passages emerge through subtly layered soundscapes. Young Adults rely on pared-back arrangements and clear production, allowing the kick, bass and textures to remain distinctly audible without compromising the tracks’ compactness. The “Emotional Data EP” 12" on Path uses contrasts and dynamic arcs to explore different moods within short runtimes, making the duo’s stylistic range immediately apparent. Overall, Young Adults deliver a precise, cohesive contribution to the contemporary Electro scene with this EP, winning listeners over through its blend of driving force and restraint.

Released on STABLO, the 12" “No. 9994” by STABLO brings together two concise, untitled tracks (A: 2:19, B: 2:20) and is offered exclusively on vinyl as a strictly limited edition. On the Bandcamp page, STABLO announces the release as a one-time pressing with a per-customer purchase limit; the physical edition is clearly aimed at collectors and the DJ community.

Musically, “No. 9994” operates in the space between breaks, minimal, and tech house, with the tracks built around lean structures and compact arrangements. STABLO, as a project and label with ties to Berlin, continues a stripped-down aesthetic that relies on punchy grooves and loop-based structures; this focus is also reflected in the associated genre tags. The release comes across as the logical outcome of the project’s many years of activity.

For DJs, the 12" offers immediate applications as a transition or set element thanks to its short, focused tracks; for collectors, the limited nature of the pressing is a defining feature. The label does not explicitly provide concrete credits for producers or participating musicians, so the emphasis remains on the sound concept and the record’s physical presence.

2026 Repress

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions. Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.

Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.

Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

The “Goce Reworks Vol 1” 7" by DJ Goce is released on G.A.M.M. and brings together two striking reworks that shine a light on the sampling tradition of urban beats. On the A-side, DJ Goce presents “Escapin' This Fugue,” a rendition that picks up on a classic Beatnuts theme and transforms the original sample into a dense, driving arrangement. The B-side, “Stay Trippin' In Harlem,” focuses on a rarely reissued groove source by Al Hirt, whose sampling history gains extra depth through well-known hip-hop references. The 7" format emphasizes a single-oriented approach and allows DJ Goce to deliver focused, DJ-ready reworks that hold their own both in sets and in curated listening contexts.

DJ Goce draws on many years of experience as a collector and selector; his work connects hip-hop roots with funky and soulful elements, which shapes the selection and treatment of the source material. The production on “Goce Reworks Vol 1” puts the emphasis on rhythmic clarity and sample-based arrangements, while the editing technique repositions prominent hooks and breaks. For fans of carefully constructed reworks, the 7" released on G.A.M.M. offers a compact insight into DJ Goce's curatorial instinct and his ability to translate familiar motifs into fresh, dance-oriented forms.

The “Die Tödin” LP by Die Tödin is released on Heartworm Press and presents the band’s self-titled album in a distinctly indie rock / alternative vein. The material is characterized by striking guitar motifs, focused song structures, and compact arrangements; melodic lines and subtle rhythmic shifts create the songs’ arc of tension and give the album a clear internal dramatic contour.

Die Tödin hails from Gelsenkirchen and previously released individual singles such as “Wild” and “Dissonanz des Lebens,” which already combined catchiness with atmospheric density. On the LP, the band continues this trajectory: quieter passages lead into powerful moments, the vocals remain present and serve as the thematic focal point, while instrumental parts leave room for detail.

Heartworm Press is releasing the “Die Tödin” LP as a carefully crafted album whose production emphasizes the immediate presence of the recordings and gives lyrical and musical nuances equal weight. Taken as a whole, the release underscores the artistic individuality of Die Tödin and marks a clear step forward in the evolution of their indie rock / alternative sound.

Released on Analogical Force, the 12" “Hidden Soul EP” by The 89th Passenger marks the project’s debut on the label and comprises five tracks that unfold between detailed electronic structures and open atmospheres. The record combines precise programming with analog textures, where melodies, breaks, and acid elements collide within an ever-shifting sonic space.

On “Hidden Soul EP,” The 89th Passenger explores the balance between rhythm and mood: hypnotic rhythms carry you through tightly interwoven arrangements, while dense, melancholic undertones lend the pieces an unexpected emotional depth. The electronic transmissions feel both constructed and organic; fine modulations and subtle layers of noise create a tangible physical presence without drowning out the inner fragility of the compositions.

Between meticulous programming and abstract passages, moments of sudden spaciousness emerge in which the music reaches surprising emotional peaks. “Hidden Soul EP” maintains a steady tension between machine-driven rhythm and felt expression, creating a continuous dramatic arc.

As a 12" release on Analogical Force, it is geared toward both focused listening and late-night journeys. “Hidden Soul EP” is suited to those late phases when machines become more than machines, confirming The 89th Passenger as a producer who deliberately balances technique and emotion.

“Fixed Fire” 12" by Michael J. Blood is released on Clone Royal Oak and marks the enigmatic producer’s second appearance on a Clone sublabel. The artist, who hails from the United Kingdom and is rumored to be from Manchester, combines classic Detroit and Chicago influences with a distinctive, contemporary style on this release.

Michael J. Blood works with the combination of precise rhythms, synthetic timbres, and spatial depth that is characteristic of electro. “Fixed Fire” opens the five-track 12" and sets the tone for a series continued with “Cardinal Earth,” “Mutable Water,” “Fixed Air,” and “Cardinal Fire.” The choice of titles points to a cohesive concept without reducing the tracks to mere functional music.

With Michael J. Blood, Clone Royal Oak has found an artist whose production does not reproduce classic club aesthetics but transforms them into a fresh form. Detroit and Chicago serve as audible points of reference, while the arrangements remain distinctive and timeless. The result is an electro release that combines the deep atmosphere of its influences with clear, modern production, making “Fixed Fire” a characteristic addition to the Clone Royal Oak catalog.

The “Papua New Guinea” 12-inch by The Future Sound of London is released on Jumpin & Pumpin and brings together the track’s well-known club mixes on a compact vinyl edition. This 12-inch features several versions of the track, including the expansive “Papua New Guinea (Andrew Weatherall Remix)” and the shorter “Papua New Guinea (Graham Massey Mix),” both of which transform the original song into distinct DJ-oriented spaces. Stylistically, the release is aimed at fans of electronic soundscapes and uses the flexible arrangements of the remixes to clearly differentiate the individual versions.

Musically, “Papua New Guinea” is built around distinctive samples: Lisa Gerrard’s voice and a notable bass line from Meat Beat Manifesto serve as recurring reference points that Cobain and Dougans reconnect within the arrangement. On the 12-inch, the Andrew Weatherall version and Graham Massey’s mix demonstrate how versatile the source material can be; the longer remix provides room for extended transitions and DJ use, while the more compact mix places its accented motifs and editing in the spotlight. For collectors and DJs, the Jumpin & Pumpin edition of “Papua New Guinea” remains a documented record of the early remixes of a track that shaped the electronic scene of the early 1990s.

Throughout history man has made and used music for two distinct and separate purposes. In recent years, particularly since the advent of sound recording, the most popular use of music has been for entertainment - the temporary amusement and distraction of as large a number as possible. As a consequence, many people tend to overlook its more fundamental and ancient use as a tool for affecting man's body and spirit. The many varieties of religious music from around the world contain a vast quantity of clues to the way in which sound can affect the physical and mental state of the serious listener, yet many find their associations with religion itself too difficult a stigma to overlook in their appreciation of the sound and its potential, for its own sake.

On this record, hopefully the first in a series, we have tried to produce sound which has a real, practical and beneficial power in this modern Era. Specifically, it is intended as an accumulator of male sexual energy. Although we make neither claims nor rules for its use, we do suggest that for maximum potency it should only be played in circumstances that exclusively male and/or onanistic in nature. What these are is entirely up to you.

The execution of the piece was structured around concepts we felt would work for us - in this case magickal and numerological rather than conventionally musical in form. One image or symbol which we drew upon that may be useful to bear in mind is that of Mars, often indicated by the male symbol.

Should this music have any power, over and above the banal and transitory titillation achieved by most records available now, it is a positive and beneficial power to be used and controlled by the listener, as he desires.

Hey ho, let's go!

The “Peacewave” EP, released on Quirk by Berlin-based Norwegian producers Alexander Skancke and Henriku, marks their return to Skancke’s own label and reunites the duo after their last highly successful joint release in 2023 (QRK009 “Happy Birthday” EP).

On this EP, they team up with Ethan Dalziel, guitarist of Berlin post-punk band Klang, adding an eclectic expansion of the label’s genre palette to the Quirk catalog and once again proving just how open-minded the producers are musically.

Across four tracks, the record develops a focus that fuses old-school electronic elements from electro and new wave, house and techno, with rock-inflected components, without getting lost in mere genre formulas.

Highlights include “ATM,” with Henriku’s characteristic voice giving it strong recognition value, as well as “Orange Sunshine.” Both are enhanced by guitar parts from Ethan Dalziel, providing an organic complement to the tracks’ electronic framework.
The title track “Peacewave” lends its name to the release and is an absolute dancefloor filler. The final track on the flip side, “Ragnarok” (B2), stands out with clever, precise sampling—a patient, steadily building party starter.

A thoroughly successful EP and a crystal-clear recommendation!

The “Back From Reality” LP by Space Ghost is being released on Peace World Records and marks his first solo album since 2022. On this release, which comes out on October 9, 2026, Space Ghost weaves elements of ambient, downtempo, and house into an electronics‑oriented sound aesthetic that, within calm, atmospheric arrangements, leaves room for reflection.

The album deliberately draws on the late 1990s and early 2000s: PS2‑era soundtracks, start screens, and menu atmospheres flow into the compositions as aesthetic reference points. Tracks like “System Reset” play like an imaginary console boot‑up, while “VGM” envisions a stage‑select scene for a fictional game; “Sugar Cube” and the title track “Back From Reality,” by contrast, create nocturnal, downtempo‑leaning zones in which listening turns into a kind of nighttime journey.

Visually, the release follows the minimalism of that era: sparse industrial landscapes and stripped‑down typography shape the artwork. The cover photo, shot by Space Ghost during nighttime drives through the quiet, empty harbor districts of Oakland, underscores the intimate, personal touch of the project. Written over the course of five years, “Back From Reality” reflects the negotiation between everyday obligations and creative longing, opening up a small retreat‑like space where moments of optimism and contemplative calm become tangible.

Released on Dub Techno For Life, the “Rhythm From Ambient” 12" by Sa Pa is the label’s second outing and connects directly to the “Girls On Tour” EP. The record features four experimentally inclined house and dub techno tracks with which Sa Pa uses the newly founded label as a platform for his broader sound work. The A-side opens with the ten-minute title track, built on undulating, swampy grooves, massive dub weight and scattered, gravelly percussion. Also on the A-side is the complementary track “Rhythm,” which brings a rougher, more industrial energy into play and serves as a reconstruction of a track originally intended for the MDR EP (2015).

On the B-side you’ll find “Last Dance,” an extended, deep house–inspired “ballroom dub” that blends atmosphere, groove, and slowly blossoming euphoria. Closing things out is “Bo Riddim,” a slower, experimental piece with deep sub-bass, heavy drums, and a relaxed percussive undercurrent, above which fragmentary melodies and textural experiments hover. With this 12", Sa Pa broadens the spectrum of Dub Techno For Life: the production operates at the intersection of electro, deep house, and dub techno and showcases the artist’s confident, experimental direction, which the label is likely to pursue further in future releases.

The “The Chase” 12-inch by Chino, released on brokntoys, marks Polish producer Artur Oles’s debut on the London label. The EP combines New Beat, electro, and acid into a slowly building, tension-filled sequence in which the pressure intensifies from track to track. Rather than relying on frantic dynamics, Chino opts for controlled movement and an atmosphere that draws its impact from restraint and growing intensity.

At the center is the title track “The Chase,” followed by “P. Honda” and “IW0.” The release closes with a remix by Not Waving, which transforms the previously tense mood into a driving acid-trance take with a clear connection to the rave aesthetics of the 1990s. This gives the release a distinct dramatic arc, linking Chino’s own tracks with a more energetic outside perspective.

“The Chase” is released as a numbered, limited-edition 12-inch of 100 copies on brokntoys. The first 33 copies also include a risograph print created by Artur Oles. With this release, Chino presents his take on electro, New Beat, and acid, combining restrained tension with a striking, forward-driving finale.

On 'Reborn', Kavinsky amplifies these sounds without deviating from his relentless trajectory.

Kavinsky is a zombie who came back from the dead after his Testarossa crashed in 1986.

His first song, "Testarossa Autodrive", was an instant success, and was followed by two singles. In 2007, he was chosen by Daft Punk to open their now legendary "Alive" tour.

In 2011, his track "Nightcall", produced with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, became the theme song for the film "Drive", and consequently a worldwide success.

Kavinsky's first album, "Outrun", was released in 2013, followed by a collaboration with The Weeknd on the song "Odd Look".

In 2022, Kavinsky is back with "Reborn", his second album recorded at the famous Motorbass studio in Paris. The first single "Renegade" has an impactful sound and a powerful chorus, whilst the second single "Zenith” has a more muted and futuristic feel. The "In Muzikon" 12" by Low End Activist meets SeekersInternational, released on Digital Sting, brings two distinct production styles into a precisely balanced dialogue. Low End Activist, now based in Berlin and originally from the United Kingdom, meets here with SeekersInternational, a collective rooted in British Columbia with Filipino heritage; the interplay of their approaches forms the core of this electro-driven project.

Musically, SKRSINTL’s skewed, dub- and dancehall-adjacent material merges with Low End Activist’s stripped-back, subsonic bass work. The tracks hover at the edges of ambience and rhythm, working with fragments, collage, and deconstruction, drawing on VHS aesthetics, rough live sound system recordings, and splintered grime references without lapsing into nostalgia. The result plays like a contemporary distillation of these touchpoints: carefully honed yet outward-looking sonic spaces in which momentum and continuity are strongly felt.

The vinyl pressing comes in a limited edition of 330 copies and is outfitted by Digital Sting with double-sided screen-printed DJ jackets, Obi strip-style stickers, and hand-stamped white labels. The artwork was created in collaboration between SKRSINTL and Digital Sting, while Alec Ness and Greg Reierson handled the mastering. This aesthetic and craft-focused attention to detail makes the "In Muzikon" 12" a clear, physically tangible addition to the Digital Sting catalog.

The "Tm404" 12" by TM404 is released on Kontra Musik and is being repressed in mid-September as part of Kontra-Musik’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The reissue brings this early work—now regarded as a classic—from one of Andreas Tilliander’s defining projects back to dance floors and home sound systems alike.

TM404 is the live alter ego of Andreas Tilliander; the tracks on this release are characterized by a dense, ambient dub‑like sonic aesthetic that fuses acid and techno textures with warm delay tails and organic sequencer patterns. All tracks were created in real time in the studio and, according to the artist, recorded in a single take, with no subsequent arrangement or overdubs. This purist approach produces a living, breathing soundscape in which even the tiniest movements of the hardware remain audible.

The project is named as a homage to classic Roland machines; at the same time, the designation alludes to a historical anecdote about the 404, which for reasons of cultural inhibition went largely unused in the eighties. For TM404 this implies a conscious revival of those instruments: Tilliander exploits their idiosyncrasies to connect fluid structures with pinpoint analog imperfections. The production remains clearly centered on the performer and his timing, underscoring the ambition behind what the artist himself has described as one of his greatest works to date.

The “Can You Feel It” 7" by Diesler drops on G.A.M.M. and delivers two focused versions: the “Latin B-Boy Rework” on the A-side and the “Latin B-Boy Dub” on the B-side. Diesler leads the track without unnecessary ornamentation; instead, precisely placed percussion and stripped-down bass motifs shape the arrangements, making the 7" function as a compact DJ tool. The concise running time and clearly defined versions make the release suitable both for sets with a direct floor focus and for transitions between classic 4/4 programs.

Musically, Diesler weaves Latin-hypnotic rhythms with B-boy breaks and driving four-on-the-floor elements, giving the “Can You Feel It” 7" a distinctive interpretation of the underlying theme; the production emphasizes percussive subtleties and a deep, rolling bassline that runs like a common thread through both versions. The A-side leans more on groove and dance-oriented dramaturgy, while the B-side, with its more dub-focused perspective, opens up space for subtler DJ manipulations. Working with a clear signature, Diesler delivers a compact statement with the “Can You Feel It” 7" on G.A.M.M. that speaks to electronic dance floors with rhythmic finesse.

Released on Fjaak, the “Fjaak015” 12" by Fjaak delivers four new tracks that push the Berlin duo’s rough‑edged, analog approach to the limit. The EP opens with “Serotonin,” a tightly arranged, groove‑centered cut with punchy drums, precise hi‑hat sequencing, and a forceful low end whose analog textures give it real physical impact. “Threshold” shifts the tension into more hypnotic territory; skipping rhythms, filtered synth stabs, and wide, flooding reverbs build a slowly growing yet focused momentum. At its core the result stays electronic, while clear influences from techno, power house, dub, and breakbeat can be heard.

On the B‑side, “Bio Data” moves into tougher, industrially inflected structures and suddenly opens up into an airy, almost euphoric passage that balances the track with sharp contrast. Closing out the record, “Wax Pack” uses sequenced analog synths, driving percussion, and rolling low end to deliver an extended dancefloor piece that relies on controlled shifts in intensity and fine‑grained textural detail. With “Fjaak015,” Fjaak reaffirm their reputation for hardware‑driven arrangements, a rebellious club aesthetic, and electrifying live performances; the EP is clearly tailored for dark rooms and heavyweight sound systems and underscores the distinctive style that defines the Berlin duo.

Released on Magic Power, the “Mp10” 12" by Beste Hira presents four distinctive cuts that put a clear emphasis on groove and stripped-back arrangements. The release includes the tracks “Chess,” “Liquid,” and “Jaja,” plus an additional version in the form of “Jaja (Loidis Last Call Mix),” giving the record both standalone club tracks and a remix perspective. In these compositions, Beste Hira keeps the elements sparse, instead relying on clear basslines and rhythmic patterns that bring each motif into sharp focus.

The combination of minimalist elegance and dancefloor-ready structures is a recurring hallmark of this release; the Loidis remix from Kansas City adds a darker, more driving version of “Jaja” that rounds out the set. Overall, “Mp10” positions itself as a focused electro statement within the Magic Power catalog, marked by precise programming and a deliberately restrained approach to arrangement. With its lean structures and the added remix, the 12" appeals to DJs and collectors who favor atmospherically dense, dance-oriented tracks.

Released on Magic Power, the Mp11 12" by Maxim Vukovic and Tils is a split release that explicitly carries the tagline “The Rhein Wupper Techno Jam Saga Continues.” The record brings both producers’ names together in a shared statement and continues the Berlin label’s ongoing 12" series.

Musically, Mp11 positions itself in the Electro realm and picks up on the Rhein-Wupper wording, framing the project as a continuation of a local Techno and Electro narrative. As a 12", the release provides space for individual contributions from Maxim Vukovic and Tils, each bringing their own signature to the club-ready structure. Its clear placement within the electronic spectrum reflects the label’s agenda, which regularly issues 12" releases with both regional and international acts.

With Mp11, Magic Power underscores its ongoing cultivation of its own series line in the electronic field; the release slots into a run of 12" records the label has built up in recent years. For collectors and DJs, Mp11 represents another compact addition to the Magic Power catalog, in which the aesthetic threads of Maxim Vukovic and Tils are woven into a contemporary Electro statement.

The Continuum Analysis EP 12" by Jauzas The Shining and Obergman, released on Gladio Operations, presents a focused encounter between two approaches to production within the electro spectrum, bringing together Jauzas The Shining’s recurring contributions to the label with the debut of Swedish producer Obergman. With the Continuum Analysis EP, Gladio Operations continues its own line of releases and places the collaboration between the two artists at the center.

The A-side opens with two powerful cuts by Jauzas The Shining, defined by striking, dark basslines and deep, deliberately drawn-out vocals; clear rhythmic contours and dense textures give these tracks a pressing, urgent profile. On the B-side come the first works by Obergman for the label, including “Kap Flora,” which builds tension through steady bass motifs and playful arpeggios, flirting with hints of trance-like timbres. The sequencing of the tracks emphasizes a contrast between raw-edged darkness and melodic, hypnotic sound design.

The Continuum Analysis EP thus not only documents a one-off collaboration, but also expands the discursive scope of Gladio Operations: on this 12", Jauzas The Shining and Obergman each reveal their own approach to electronic density and structural precision.

The evolution of Andreas Tilliander's moniker Tm404 has reached its third stage. The first Tm404 album was a heavily self-restricted concept album, live recorded with classic Roland machines. The subsequent album had a more playful vibe, shaped by Tilliander's extensive live touring. This third Tm404 album on Kontra-Musik simply tells the story of what he's been up to since. The third part of a musical diary, initiated in 2013. The Tm404 venture might have started out as a dreamy acid dub project, more suited for the chill-out than the main floor. But by popular demand Tillander found himself touring big clubs around the globe and the Tm404 sound adapted organically. As a result, the album features tracks like Vactro and Rymdeko: fast paced acidic techno tracks in the same vein as classic Plus 8 releases, but with more space echo. Much more. But never fear, fans of the classic warm and bubbling Tm404 sound. You'll certainly get yours as well. A substantial portion of this album was recorded in a studio flat in Berlin as part of an artist residency. For obvious reasons, Tilliander could only bring a small portion of his studio gear to this German sanctuary. As a consequence, this album has a more stripped down vibe than its predecessors, which creates more space for Tilliander's glowing melodies. The last track on the album, a loving homage to Kontra-Musik's label boss, is a sublime example. And for the Instagram generation, here's the short version: The album is called Syra. That translates to Acid. You're welcome.

The 12" Sonic Boom by L.F.T., released on Bordello A Parigi, brings together four compact tracks that push a raw, acid-laced strain of electro forward. Within the label’s rough-edged context, the EP comes across like a short but intense jolt: pummeling, broken beats collide with serrated synth lines and a sonic aesthetic that frequently leans on distorted vocoder voices and static textures. L.F.T. favors immediacy over restraint; the production stacks electronic layers tightly so that the arrangements build pressure both physically and sonically.

Over its course, Sonic Boom runs from the punchy opener “Locked In My Head” and the pestilence-soaked “Las Plagas” to the flickering tension of “Ningen” and the closing, aggressively motor-driven “Schmutzig Personality.” Each track establishes its own motif, which is varied within short, precise structures, making the 12" function as a concentrated discharge of energy. Bordello A Parigi clearly positions the release in the acid/electro realm and presents L.F.T. with a statement that fuses club-readiness with a relentless, industrial attitude.

Released on 22Recordings, the “22247011” 12" by Bodeler & Grees brings together four concise electro tracks on a compact vinyl edition that also includes a digital download. The record features the cuts “Tie-Breaker,” “Automata” (06:35), “El Electronic,” and “Outstanding,” and was mastered for release by Justin Drake; the physical 12" was listed on the label’s site as a vinyl edition and marked as sold out at the time of listing.

Musically, “22247011” moves between sharply defined electro structures and influences from Detroit, acid house, and EBM, as suggested by the release’s style tags. Bodeler & Grees favor stripped-down arrangements with striking motifs and sequenced synth lines that, in the shorter compositions, leave room for variation and DJ-friendly transitions. The 12" released on 22Recordings thus underscores the position of the Barcelona-based label as a platform for contemporary electronic releases and delivers a focused, club-oriented statement within the current electro scene.

Tony Price’s *Name?* LP is released on Maximum Exposure and features ten tracks spanning electro and house. Following “Requiem for the Ontario Science Centre” and “Street Theatre,” the producer from Greektown, Toronto, once again keeps his focus firmly on the dance floor. Tony Price combines his fondness for the house sound of New York and New Jersey with a raw, direct approach.

On “Name?,” Tony Humphries’ gospel dubs, the edgy 12-bit hip-hop energy of Todd Terry and the buoyant garage swing of early Strictly Rhythm releases meet influences from Mood II Swing and Masters At Work. Also joining the mix are the over-the-top bleep funk of the Bomb Squad and the deep, ecstatic machine soul of Blaze and the Burrell Brothers. The tracks were produced at Tony Price’s Greektown studio using drum machines and samplers, then mixed and mastered by Price himself.

The album’s idiosyncratic approach is already apparent in the opening track, “Temperature Check,” while “It Goes,” “Basic Image,” “Go Tony,” “Cover Girl,” “Candy,” “Elevation,” “Name?,” “Reptile,” and “Luxe” continue its stripped-down framework. Tony Price reduces house to punchy rhythms, raw textures, and immediately effective funk impulses. With this release, Maximum Exposure presents an album free of decorative detours, drawing its energy from drum-machine pressure, sampler work, and elemental groove.

The “Dark Energy” 12" released on Underground Resistance marks the return of James Pennington, a.k.a. the Suburban Knight, to the Resistance camp and channels the signature UR aesthetic into a dark, cosmic form. Produced by UR and mixed by The Martian, the release presents a dense, trance-like mood that consciously leans into nocturnal, synthetic soundscapes. UR lets electronic fields of tension intersect and forges them into tracks that showcase both club functionality and a strong sense of spatial depth.

At the heart of the record are cuts like “Midnight Sunshine” and “Atomic Witchookta,” built on tightly packed basslines, wide, expansive synth pads, and ritualized rhythmic patterns. James Pennington appears under the alias Dark Energy and is portrayed in the accompanying notes as a returning figure and part of a mysterious mission; together with another, unnamed comrade from “Planet X,” he creates an almost incantatory atmosphere. UR uses this concept to draw listeners into a trance-like state that is both spiritual and danceable, where repetitive figures and ethereal melodies open up sonic spaces. The “Dark Energy” 12" is thus a deliberately conceived statement by Underground Resistance, fusing production, mix, and narrative imagery into a self-contained electronic short trip.

Rhythm Section International proudly presents it’s 8th offering from local boys Chaos in the CBD. Born in New Zealand, but based in Peckham for the last few years, these brothers have made a real mark on the scene here in London town and with their latest set of productions are set to take this message further afield. Having already released internationally on labels such as ClekClekBoom (Paris), Hot Haus (London) and Amadeus (Montreal), the duo’s approach to production has matured immeasurably in the last year, as is evident in the restrained potency and poetic subtlety on the 4 tracks across this accomplished EP, Midnight in Peckham. Taking it’s title from the locale the boys have come to know as home, the record channels a delicate late night energy - equally indebted to the hypnotic incantations of Ron Trent as it is to the hazy suburban atmospheres of Burial. These 4 classic cuts pay homage to deep house in it’s truest sense - at once sublime, melancholy and meditative . Chaos in the CBD have clearly taken their cue from the mid-west masters of the genre but have not been afraid to let their own influences and environ creep in, and in doing so have created something that is unmistakablely London and infact, timeless.

The “Alchemical Sisters” double LP by Alchemical Sisters is being released on Interdimensional Transmissions and marks the debut of the duo formed by Maya Bouldry-Morrison (Octo Octa) and Eris Drew. This electro-focused work arrives just in time for Samhain and is slated for release on October 19, 2026. Over the course of two sides, the album unfolds eight compositions that range from driving acid motifs to wide-ranging, psychedelic moments, taking concrete shape in tracks like “This is How it Should Be Done,” “Double Acid,” and “Song For New Hampshire.” Interdimensional Transmissions here brings the shared production practice of the two producers to the fore.

The material was created in the forests of New Hampshire: Maya and Eris turned the master bedroom of their cabin into a hermetic studio, slept on the floor for an extended period, and combined dulcimer and traditional instruments with turntables, vintage machines, and contemporary studio hardware. They describe the result as “psychedelic chaos, acid rollers, and big beat, channeled through hardware instruments and animated by love, touch, rhythm, and spiritual fire.” Mixing was handled by BMG in Detroit at the Interdimensional Laboratory, where tracking and processing through tubes, transformers, and high-end mixing gear fused into a dense, euphonic sound. The “Alchemical Sisters” double LP thus documents a deeply personal yet technically ambitious vision.

The “The Last Jack” LP by A-Eno-Acid is released on Chicago Bee and marks the debut album by Mark Churcher, who has already drawn attention under his A-Eno-Acid alias with the compilations “Home Listening Acid” and “House Compilation.” On Chicago Bee, Churcher delivers a deliberately rough, straight-ahead record that clearly feeds off the underground and carries the energy of classic acid aesthetics forward in contemporary form.

Musically, “The Last Jack” is deeply rooted in the sound of the late 1980s: 808 drums, squelching 303 lines, and hypnotic grooves provide the framework for tracks designed for DJs and dance floors. The productions follow a stripped-down yet hard-hitting approach that leaves room for elongated bass figures and modular filter sweeps. The record stays gritty and unadorned without abandoning structured arrangements; tension arises through repetition, subtle variations, and disciplined timing.

“The Last Jack” is aimed at connoisseurs of acid and warehouse tradition, bringing together club readiness and underground authenticity and presenting Mark Churcher as a producer who stamps historical elements with his own signature. With this LP, Chicago Bee issues a statement that appeals to both DJs and listeners who seek the unfiltered, driving sound of the acid scene.

The "Voodoo Ray" 12" by A Guy Called Gerald is released on Juice Box Records and brings together two central pieces from Gerald's archive: on the A-side, the iconic "Voodoo Ray" finally returns to vinyl, while the B-side features "I Won't Give In" from 1990.

A Guy Called Gerald has shaped his career both as a founding member of 808 State and as a solo artist, and is regarded as one of the defining figures of the British electronic scene. His work ranges from early acid house successes to the groundbreaking Juice Box releases, and the later album "Black Secret Technology" is regularly cited as a milestone in the jungle/drum & bass sphere. Juice Box is also Gerald’s own label, closely tied to his Manchester sound system.

Musically, this 12" is exemplary of Gerald’s ability to create dense club moments with minimal means: the title track remains an early example of the acid house sound that connects the dance floor with darkness, while "I Won’t Give In" reveals the deeper, archival side of his work and underlines the continuity of his output. Both tracks stem from a creative period in which he was writing and producing pieces that explored the boundaries between genres.

The Geko02 12-inch by Ok Eg, released on Geko, is the duo’s second outing on their own imprint and directly picks up on the label’s early phase, in which the producers methodically explore their sonic ideas.

Musically, Geko02 opens out into lusher, more dreamlike and more abstract territory: finely wrought layers of synthesizers meet precise percussion arrangements that resist any easy categorization. Pulsing undercurrents and a springy groove create a well-balanced relationship between intricate rhythmic detail and controlled tension; the tracks move between gentle restraint and powerful dynamics.

The record documents OK EG’s feel for organic textures and carefully considered forms, with assured motion and gentle pressure remaining the defining characteristics. In headphones, the tracks unfold with a dense, intimate presence, while on open floors they impress through their clarity and strong sense of space. The production feels deliberately stripped-back yet rich in nuance, allowing each sonic space to develop its own internal logic.

For listeners who value electronic music beyond familiar pigeonholes, Geko02 presents Ok Eg as a project that connects sound design and danceability while pursuing a clear aesthetic direction on the Geko label.

The “Vice City EP” 12" by Geek, released on D.A.M.N, marks a confident entry into the dark street milieu of its fictional namesake and appears as a contribution to D.A.M.N’s newly founded sublabel. On the “Vice City EP,” Geek presents four tight tracks that render the project’s electroid universe in distilled form, working with clear motifs and striking hooks.

The production focuses on rhythmic precision and electronic textures; the arrangements leave space for distinctive synth lines and pointed percussion without getting lost in superfluous ornamentation. Across the four cuts, Geek shows a keen sense of economy and timing, so each track sets its own accents while contributing to the coherent overall picture of the “Vice City EP.”

For the D.A.M.N label, this release is a statement of freshness: Geek delivers four new cuts positioned as compact electro statements that sharply reflect the sublabel’s concept. The “Vice City EP” offers a direct, focused entry point into Geek’s work and at the same time serves as a clear indication of the direction D.A.M.N will be taking.

The "Plastique People" 12" by Break 3000 is released on Electron Feel and brings a well-deserved vinyl reissue of these sought-after electroclash classics from the years 1999–2003. The release compiles distinctive club tracks from the early phase of the project, which originally appeared on Meuse Muzique in Maastricht.

"Plastique People feat. Zusi" has returned as a club hit in recent years and has driven up the prices of the original pressings on Discogs. "Last Emotion" had previously been unreleased and gained renewed attention after a limited reissue by the Argentine label Calypso's Dream, which had earlier released the "The Rise Of Poseidon I" edition that also included "Sacrifice" — a track that became a hit thanks to its appearance on Tiga’s DJ‑Kicks compilation in 2003. The vocoder track "Emolotion" had a brief vinyl comeback in 2023 on the Milan-based label Mondo Phase.

All tracks were newly remastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne. Break 3000 is characterized by a stripped-down electroclash approach: lean arrangements, striking synth lines, vocoder vocals, and a straightforward club focus that also conveys the raw aesthetics of the late ’90s and early 2000s. The Wavelengths 2 12-inch by Sub Basics, released on Animalia, presents the second chapter of an ongoing series and picks up directly where its predecessor Wavelengths left off. Sub Basics extends his distinctive sonic signature: dubby takes on UK techno, dubstep and tech house provide the framework, while prismatic percussion loops and spacey pads weave the tracks into organically rolling entities. The bass work that is typical of the artist meets restrained yet insistent arrangements that set clear reference points in terms of groove and spatial impact without falling into predictable patterns.

With Wavelengths 2, Animalia draws on its close collaboration with its alumni and integrates Sub Basics’ tracks seamlessly into the label’s universe. This release underscores their shared understanding of quality: psychedelic, grooving and cross‑genre elements take center stage and make the 12" work reliably both in the club context and as part of more expansive DJ sets. Sub Basics’ rolling tunes and Animalia’s undefinable aesthetic converge here, showing how familiar textures can be translated into new forms. Overall, Wavelengths 2 is a coherent continuation that sharpens Sub Basics’ characteristic sound while consistently carrying forward Animalia’s curatorial line.

The 12" “Electronic Civilisation” by V.A., released on Under The Radar, brings together four strong tracks by DJ SCSI, Böhm, Wildplanet, and D-UFO and carries the catalog number UTR008. Side A and Side B each offer two cuts (“7 Miles,” “Closed,” “Movement,” “Space Dimension”) that are explicitly announced as a blend of techno and electro. The compilation lists the contributions as coming from the cities of Detroit, Utrecht, Stockholm, and Barcelona, thus drawing on different regional influences within a clearly defined electronic framework.

Musically, the record combines punchy, club-ready beat structures with classic electro textures; driving bass figures and modulated synth lines meet precisely arranged rhythmic elements. The producers involved distinguish themselves through different signatures: rougher, machine-like impulses sit alongside cooler, detail-oriented productions. The compilation focuses on functional tracks that can be deployed directly in DJ sets and at the same time lend themselves to attentive listening.

The accompanying label on the release also notes that the compilation was put together by JDSK and mastered by Johantz Westman, underscoring the conceptual consistency and sonic cohesion of the record. “Electronic Civilisation” thus presents itself as a concise snapshot of current techno and electro approaches on Under The Radar.

The “Dyke Den” LP by Darlynn is being released on Dark Entries and marks the debut of the Oakland duo of Daria Lourd (aka Bored Lord) and Jaelynn Walls. Framed as a lesbian love story, the record tells of finding one another and growing together creatively; recorded over the course of two years at home, the sessions capture the personal core of the work.

Musically, “Dyke Den” explores a spectrum between danceable R&B aesthetics and touches of deep house: influences from Janet Jackson and Sly & the Family Stone meet club traditions in the vein of Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan. Tracks like “Make Yr Move” and “Like A Summer” celebrate deep house vibes, while “Girl 2 Girl” and “Alright With Me” lean into sensual R&B moments. At the same time, the record is suffused with longing and the struggle for intimacy, before closing track “Love Letter” uses lush multi-part harmonies to invoke the power of a lifelong partnership.

All songs were written, recorded, and produced by Daria Lourd and Jaelynn Walls; the final lacquer cutting was done by Anne-Marie Suenram. The artwork is by Hailee Va, with sleeve design by Eloise Shir-Juen Leigh. On this debut LP, Darlynn channel their queer perspective and musical versatility into an expressive statement that resonates on the dance floor as much as it does emotionally.

The “Inori” 12" released on Ndyuka Rhythms is a four-part EP that forges a direct connection between Japanese heritage and the percussion-driven sonic identity of the label. Hailing from Osaka, Toru Ikemoto delivers four carefully crafted compositions whose individual concepts and moods are closely interwoven.

Each track on the EP bears a Japanese title; for every piece, Toru Ikemoto has developed a distinct musical idea, shaped it with precision, and translated it into a clear sound concept. The arrangements lean on rhythmic structures and pinpointed percussion, while electronic elements carry the atmosphere and give the tracks space for subtle development. With “Inori,” Ndyuka Rhythms once again demonstrates its affinity for rhythm-focused productions and offers Toru Ikemoto’s compositions a platform where origins and contemporary electro-oriented production naturally come together.

“Inori” stands as a focused, conceptually coherent release that makes Toru Ikemoto’s signature and the rhythmic identity of Ndyuka Rhythms clearly recognizable, sending compelling impulses out into the world from its base in Osaka.

The 12-inch “Noise Beneath The Surface” by Ahmet Mecnun, released on Booooo!, marks the Tunisian DJ and producer’s second EP. Under this title, the artist condenses electronic soundscapes with dark, forward-driving rhythms, developing them into a tension-filled electro production.

On the release, Ahmet Mecnun combines deep, atmospheric pads with a clear sense of movement. The tracks work with powerful sequences, precise rhythms and a pitch-black sonic aesthetic that bridges hypnotic depth and direct club energy. Throughout, the production remains focused on the impact of the groove, while the soundscapes lend the proceedings additional spatial depth.

“Flicker In The Dark” and “Lucid Noise” exemplify the balance between a condensed atmosphere and driving electronics. With “Shut Out” and “Voltage Veil,” Ahmet Mecnun expands the EP’s range with additional rhythmically distinctive passages without sacrificing the release’s cohesive character. The four tracks form a compact unit in which dark tones, pulsating bass lines and finely nuanced electronic details complement one another.

Booooo! releases “Noise Beneath The Surface” as a 12-inch under catalog number BOOEP02. For Ahmet Mecnun, the EP continues his approach of combining deep electronic textures with determined, physical rhythms.

The *When The Sandbox Has No Edge* LP by Saint Abdullah & Eomac is released on Planet Mu. The fifth collaborative album by Mohammad and Mehdi Mehrabani, who make up Saint Abdullah, and Irish producer and composer Ian McDonnell, aka Eomac, is rooted in hip-hop, while expanding its coordinates with electronic experimentation, samples, and unusual instrumental colors.

The starting point was a poem, which developed into an album that deliberately sets no stylistic boundaries. Much of the material was created in London in 2024 and 2025, where Mohammad Mehrabani worked with two Roland SP-404s. McDonnell then shaped the fragments into fully realized compositions in Wicklow without smoothing out their raw energy.

Abbas Zahedi, Richie Culver, and Armand Hammer contribute additional vocals and poetry. Che Chen of 75 Dollar Bill provides guitar, while Lester St. Louis can be heard on cello. Seraphim, both producer and sound designer, supplied textures and sound design for the entire album. The tracks also incorporate samples from records found at charity bazaars and markets during trips across the United Kingdom.

With tracks such as “As We Are,” “Whiff Tickle,” and “Cyphers Become Sifr,” *When The Sandbox Has No Edge* brings rap, electronic sound processing, instrumental contributions, and experimental techniques together in an open-ended format. Planet Mu is releasing the LP under catalog number ZIQ493.

Gate 9 continues the series and presents the material in a compact 12-inch format that bears the label’s signature character and places the participating artists directly side by side.

Musically, “Gt9.02” presents a collection of electro-oriented tracks that are driven by emotion and deliberately build tension for club use. The contributions range from concise, jittery arrangements to densely composed moments with pronounced synth colors; the aim of the sequence is an immediate physical impact on the dance floor. Particular attention is deserved by the collaboration between Brian Topham and Nulek on B2, “La Ciudad De La Ignominia,” which stands out as a striking, powerful contribution. Dojo Zone contributes two tracks that differ in tempo and mood and complement the overall picture of the compilation.

With a clear focus on electro, “Gt9.02” on Gate 9 offers a focused snapshot of current electronic productions, pooling the voices of the participating acts into a compact 12-inch statement.

The newly reissued 2026 triple LP *The Opening Of The Cerebral Gate* by Transllusion is being released by Tresor as a 3x12" set on 180 g vinyl. The project is the work of James Marcel Stinson, who wrote and produced all of the tracks. The album was recorded in Detroit in 2001 and was originally released through Supremat, a short-lived Tresor sublabel for more abstract and experimental electro.

*The Opening Of The Cerebral Gate* is the second installment in the so-called Drexciyan Storms, a series of seven albums released under different artist names over the course of a single year. Here, Stinson opens up the sonic universe of his Detroit electro work to flowing sequences, precisely programmed rhythms, and a futuristic atmosphere. “Transmission Of Life” establishes the album’s technological pull, while “Walking With Clouds” and “Unordinary Realities” bring out Transllusion’s funky side. With “Cerebral Cortex Malfunction” and “Crossing Into The Mental Astroplane,” the journey intensifies into an abstract study of electronic movement.

The album closes with “Do You Want To Get Down? (Vocal De Void),” a vocal-driven variation on the album’s finale. The Tresor reissue features artwork developed by Matthew Angelo Harrison; Yannick Nuss handled the graphic design, while Corinne Vermeulen was responsible for the photography. The release thus combines Stinson’s forward-looking production with a contemporary visual reworking.

The “Break Through (Inc Radioactive Man / Silicon Scally / Morphology Remixes)” 12" by Signal Type, released on Cultivated Electronics, marks the label’s fiftieth release and channels its founding energy into the present. Signal Type, the joint project of label head Sync 24 and Matt Whitehead, delivers with “Break Through” a snappy, driving, and psychedelic electro track clearly designed for the dance floor. Funky, spacey elements and a restlessly pulsing energy point equally to the label’s early releases and its current direction. Released for Cultivated Electronics’ twentieth anniversary, the record serves as a milestone that bridges classic machine funk and contemporary club sounds.

The EP expands on the original with three remixes: Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man) injects the track with a raw, Detroit-tinged machine energy, while Carl A. Finlow (Silicon Scally) offers a deeper, after-hours-oriented club version. Morphology from Finland round out the package with a hypnotic, 90s-inspired roller that fuses analog sensibility with a futuristic groove. The remixes come from long-time allies of the label and distinctive figures of the electro scene. The 12" comes in a full sleeve with artwork by Geometric Love, bringing together musical tradition and contemporary sound aesthetics in a coherent release on Cultivated Electronics.

The “Life” 12" by Boo Williams, released on Boo Moonman, brings together ten tracks across two 12"s and presents a focused selection that showcases the producer with some of his strongest work of the decade. The release draws stylistic references from his RELIEF classics and FINGERS INC., yet remains free of nostalgic backward glances, instead aiming for a contemporary, forward-looking interpretation of the house sound.

Musically, “Life” operates in the realm of deep, hypnotic, groove-driven house productions. Distinctive basslines, shimmering keyboard textures, and carefully placed percussion structures define the arrangements; they strike a balance between dancefloor-ready directness and atmospheric expansiveness. Boo Williams’s characteristic Chicago sound, with soulful melodies and swinging rhythms, remains the recognizable signature that holds the tracks together.

This compilation uses Boo Moonman as a platform to place material from the artist’s extensive archive in a coherent context and to newly present early and previously hard-to-access recordings. For DJs and listeners who value the link between classic Chicago house aesthetics and modern production, “Life” stands as an important entry in the label’s catalog.

The "Electric Nite / Atmospheric" 12" by Yoogie Van Bellen & Christian Linder is coming out on Phonica as a limited reissue; the label is presenting the record as a reissue of a long‑sought‑after underground cut.

The two tracks originally appeared back in 2001 in the orbit of Marc et Claude; since then, the first pressing has been considered rare and has gone up in value among heads, not least because the tracks kept resurfacing in DJ sets. With this new edition, Phonica is tapping directly into that demand.

Musically, "Electric Nite" and "Atmospheric" are long, slowly unfolding cuts with psychedelic shadings that sit somewhere between techno and trance. The arrangements build tension over several minutes, working with expansive pads, driving percussion elements, and recurring melodic fragments; both tracks are explicitly geared toward late hours and open‑ended DJ sets.

The renewed presence of "Electric Nite" in current sets played a major role in the surge of interest: the track served as the closer in Jane Fitz’s RA Live set from Houghton Festival 2025 and was widely requested afterward. This kind of contextualization in a festival setting goes a long way toward explaining the renewed attention that Phonica is addressing with this 12".

The “Mambe EP” 12-inch compilation was released on Orphic and continues the label’s direction with focused, club-oriented sound. Four years after the “Shelter EP,” the release carries the concept forward: the tracks range from driving, dub-inspired techno to electro-influenced moments, with space, sub-bass, and subtly crafted sound design at the forefront.

The A-side opens with the title track, a slow, gradually building number featuring submerged chords and rolling percussion. Kieran Jandu contributes “Back To Mine,” a deep, bass-heavy, electro-leaning production, while DJ Space Taxi delivers “Dream Cycle,” a more introspective, shimmering composition. The 12-inch is rounded out by remixes from Polygonia and Konduku, who either organically expand the original or condense it into a hypnotic, psychedelic suite. Additional credits include mastering by Beau Thomas and artwork by Nugmoose; “Lila” is credited as a joint writing, production, and mixing project by Kieran Jandu and DJ Space Taxi. Overall, “Mambe EP” on Orphic offers a dense, focused selection of electronic tracks that combine depth with club-ready appeal.

“Since Eleven” 12" by Farron is released on Delsin as part of the Inertia series and carries the catalog number Inertia-14. The record brings together four tracks conceived as a compact unit that adheres to the reduced 12" format.

Farron is a self-organized producer from southern Germany who releases music under several aliases and has long-standing, steady ties to the electronic music scene. Since 2015, he has been running his own label, Shaw Cuts, which serves as a platform for his own productions and like-minded peers, and over the years has become a fixture for DJs with a penchant for broken rhythms and dub-tinged techno aesthetics.

Musically, “Since Eleven” focuses on the soundscape characteristic of Farron: playful, dub-soaked structures meet broken, rhythmically demanding arrangements. The four cuts combine sparse melodic fragments with deep, modulated bass and generously applied echo and delay effects; the result is an elegant yet raw take on techno that works both in club sets and for focused listening. As such, the EP serves as a concise calling card for the producer and directly extends the sound of his Shaw Cuts catalog.

The “Bespoke Electronics EP” 12-inch by Santiago Salazar is set for release on Cyphon. The Los Angeles–based producer and DJ has been working with electronic music for more than three decades, developing a close connection between California’s underground scene and Detroit.

Santiago Salazar began his career in the Los Angeles underground in the early 1990s. In the early 2000s, he moved to Detroit, where he became part of the Underground Resistance orbit. This period shaped his development as an artist and brought him into a scene whose history is closely linked to distinctive forms of techno and electro. Over the course of his career, Salazar has released music under various names and worked with key figures from Detroit’s electronic music scene.

With the “Bespoke Electronics EP,” Santiago Salazar continues this longstanding development on Cyphon. The London-based label is dedicated to electro, abstract electronics and futuristic productions connected to Detroit. The release therefore brings together Salazar’s experience in Los Angeles and Detroit with Cyphon’s musical direction. The “A Cloudless Sky” 12-inch by Radial, released on Fusion Of Thought, marks Jeroen Liebregts’ return to his eponymous artist name. The Dutchman, who lives in Barcelona, has been an established figure in the international techno underground since the late 1990s and has released music under various aliases on labels such as Mord, Token, and Mote-Evolver. He also runs his own label, Radial Records.

For Fusion Of Thought, Liebregts brings four tracks together into a focused EP that moves between funk-driven grooves, analog-influenced soundscapes, and a distinctly paranoid underlying mood. “Serein” opens the release with driving rhythms, while “Simulated Space” and “Momentum” continue to intensify the tension through shifting movements and striking electronic textures. “Advertiser” carries the atmosphere forward, rounding out the 12-inch with a jagged, physical sense of momentum.

The tracks move between electro and techno without sacrificing their raw studio aesthetic in favor of polished surfaces. It is precisely this analog character that gives the four tracks an immediate tension, keeping funk and unease closely intertwined. Mastering was handled by Audiosculpture. With “A Cloudless Sky,” Fusion Of Thought presents a release that captures Liebregts’ return as Radial with precision while also connecting it to his longstanding work in the underground.

The “Flowers Of Agony” LP by The Nightstalker is released on Childhood Intelligence and comes as a 2x12; the work was written and produced by Dan Piu and Gary Rich. As the final part of a three-piece saga, “Flowers Of Agony” follows on from “The Tragedies Of A High-Tech World” and “Genetic Constitution,” and brings together the duo’s narrative and sonic evolution. On this release, The Nightstalker allows the compositional signatures of the two producers to unfold in a highly focused way.

Musically, the record clearly lives in the realm of electro, while also bearing strong influences from techno and psychedelic soundscapes. “Flowers Of Agony” presents an analog machine soul organized in densely arranged, live-oriented setups; driving, techno-leaning sequences meet atmospheric melodies and intricately interlocked rhythms. The Nightstalker’s sound aesthetic serves in every track as a common thread, shifting between oppressive darkness and futuristic energy and guiding listeners through cybernetic, almost cinematic spaces. As the concluding volume of the trilogy, the album condenses the 20-year partnership between Dan Piu and Gary Rich while also setting new accents, pushing familiar motifs further and carrying them into a new phase.

The “Echo In The Dark” LP by Hanna Tuulikki and Tommy Perman is released on Kin-Tu Records and presents eight pieces shaped from bat call echolocation, layered voices, and electronic processing. Each composition is based on the signatures of a different bat species and translates ultrasonic impulses into a framework of ecological listening, experimental composition, and dancefloor-oriented elements. On a compositional level, Tuulikki and Perman work with layering that transforms organic click patterns and synthetic signatures into dense rhythmic and textural fields. Tuulikki and Perman act equally as sound researchers and composers; the transformation of ultrasound into audible materiality forms the guiding design principle and generates pieces whose development is both focused and atmospheric.

The release comprises eight tracks and was produced in a limited edition of 300 copies; each copy includes an individually hand-printed Riso insert, with color and design varying and selected at random, making each sleeve one of a kind. The LP features custom labels in pink on side A and blue on side B. Electronic Sound named “Echo In The Dark” album of the month in issue 140 and described the record as “compelling and immersive,” also writing that “almost everything on Echo in the Dark is near-perfect.”

The “Have A Few Days Off” LP by K-Lone is released on Wisdom Teeth and, as a compact mini-LP, presents a dense sequence of electronic club tracks that oscillate between precise dancefloor material and atmospheric expansiveness. In this set, K-Lone explores intersections: swinging minimal house meets self-contained drum and bass and floating ambient techno; the arrangements are built around bright, lingering chords, springy basslines, and fragmented vocal snippets that repeatedly create ASMR-like moments. Stylistic breaks and subtle dissonances give the record a quiet restlessness that rewards attentive listening.

The release comprises six tracks with a running time of around 31 minutes and showcases K-Lone’s keen sense for clear sound design and dynamic club dramaturgy. Opener “Holdup” sets sharply defined accents right away, while the title track “Have A Few Days Off” reveals the quieter, more detached sides of the production; “Self care (live mix)” functions as a narrative moment over the course of the record. With this LP, Wisdom Teeth delivers a focused yet richly instrumented release within the spectrum of electronic music that unfolds its impact both on the dancefloor and in quiet listening.

The “El Compuesto Desconocido EP” by Absent Corps is a focused 12-inch release that brings together five tracks situated somewhere between ’90s New Beat, electro, Italobody, and darker shades of disco. The compositions center on distinctive basslines, precise drum machines, and a clear synth aesthetic that incorporates cinematic, sci-fi-inspired motifs, resulting in a sonic landscape that works both on the dance floor and for focused listening.

Absent Corps appears as an electronic project from Barcelona, drawing stylistically on the resurgent currents of the late ’80s and ’90s while reinterpreting them with contemporary production techniques. Hallmarks include the combination of retro sounds and modern arrangements, as well as the occasional use of narrative elements in the track titles that evoke classic science fiction films.

From a technical standpoint, the record was mastered by Alden Tyrell; artwork comes from Egyptian Greyhound, and distribution is handled by Bordello A Parigi. The edition is a strictly limited run of 400 copies on black vinyl and is also available digitally, including high-quality 24-bit/44.1 kHz downloads. The release is scheduled for early June 2026.

Released on Pastasoul, the “Pastasoul 01” 12" by Bress Underground brings together six driving tracks that fuse an immediate club focus with classic house aesthetics. The A-side features “Pasta88,” “Tango Hustle,” and “Masterpiece”; the B-side opens with “Don't Rush Me” and moves from “Chicago Cookie” to the melancholically swinging “On My Mind.”

Bress Underground is the production project of Andrea Calabrese; his work is deeply rooted in house, garage, and the heightened emotion of the nineties. His productions are characterized by warm chord pads, forward-pushing groove patterns, and a preference for organic-sounding percussion that blends classic Chicago sound with contemporary clarity. This stylistic signature runs consistently through the compositions on the 12".

The tracks were independently crafted and clearly bear the producer’s stamp: according to the label print, writing, production, and mixing are all by Andrea Calabrese, completed in his home studio in Berlin; mastering was handled externally, giving the record a balanced sound geared toward club use. Overall, “Pastasoul 01” presents compositional precision and a clear orientation toward soul-infused house traditions without sacrificing modern attention to detail.

A tribute to Bob the Landlord from Rotterdam.

Bob the Landlord became known in Rotterdam after appearing in Roy Dames's legendary documentary about the harbor cafe Willems Kantine. He was a loud and direct landlord who rented small rooms to people around the area. Bob was famous for his strong Rotterdam attitude and the way he spoke to people without filtering his words.

One of the most famous moments was when Cowboy Jos asked him for five euros. Bob angrily replied, "Five euros? On your face!" This line later became a well-known quote in Rotterdam.

Even though he could be rough and strict, Bob became a memorable character and a small cult figure in the city.

4 tracks on one very special release.

A1 by Doctr - Our Minds Belong Together. The long awaited super nu italo hit already played by David Vunk at many festivals and clubs where everyboday is waiting for!

A2 by Theo Scuera - Your Virus.
Club banger and Dancefloor filler with crazy sexy bassline and pumping rhythm section. Half electro half techno. Endmix legendary by Endrik schroeder.

A1 David Vunk and Ben la Desh - Unrealized prophet.
Long time friends Ben la Desh and David Vunk team up again with another super deep techno house track, layered analog sequencial prophet 5 synths sound, Erica Perkons drums and fx. All of this comes together in an exciting tech break with space-like sounds. Be prepared for this secret wapon.

B2 Patricio Diaz - Come To My Hell
A Parisian space house techno track with energetic beats and 90ies vibes. Pure energy. Get your 10000 steps on this one.

Hint: Most likely people will already buy this just for the cover.
So be quick for this release and don't miss this.

The "Primal Transmissions" LP by Jensen Interceptor is released on Mesh and brings together five concentrated tracks that show the producer from a raw, instinctive side without losing his penchant for dense rhythmic constructions. On this release, Jensen Interceptor explores a range of tempos, from molten downtempo to compact club statements, with each track carrying its own modification of electro forms.

"False Oracles" opens with euphoric downtempo, fine rhythmic detail, and stoic percussion; "Fail to Call" sets a grimy bassline against frantic hammer-drill drums that dissolve into fragmented, decomposed patterns. "What Would Susan Do" is a double dose of chaos, located somewhere between dancehall, psytrance, and Drum’n’Bass, yet rooted on its own planet. "Tone Impress" leans into industrial sharpness, shredding vocals and relying on rolling hits at just under 160 BPM. With "Emerald Web," the rhythms are stripped back to their elemental structures and worked over once more as a final workout.

"Primal Transmissions" on Mesh presents Jensen Interceptor as one of the more inventive operators in the scene, who recalibrates club mechanics through rupture and renewal and deliberately shifts electro aesthetics.

The "New Drug" 7" by Matthew Dear is released on Salon and presents the driving title track on the A‑side and the expansive piece "Head in the clouds" on the B‑side. This release is part of a series of three collectible 7" singles (SALON023–025), to which Bruno Pronsato and Rework contribute alongside Matthew Dear.

"New Drug" moves along the border between electro‑pop and pop‑oriented electronic music; the track leans on memorable hooks and a laid‑back groove that evokes subtle low‑rider vibes and at times recalls the warm, soulful band aesthetic of War. The structure stays singable while still electronically modulated, allowing the track to work as a catchy anthem with a clear club connection.

On the flip side, "Head in the clouds" unfolds a slower, hovering arrangement: broad washes of disco color meet hypnotic grooves, with the track building on atmospheric layers and extended passages that leave room for a sense of detachment. The orientation of the B‑side emphasizes a danceable yet otherworldly character.

For years, Matthew Dear has embodied a fusion of songwriting and electronic production; as a DJ, producer, and co‑founder of Ghostly International, he has shaped a distinct vocabulary somewhere between techno, pop, and disco. This 7" slots into his multifaceted body of work and adds a warm, melody‑focused contribution to the Salon series.

The compilation “DJax-Up-Beats 1990–2005: Volume 2 - The NL Connection” is being released on Delsin and continues the curated exploration of the legacy of Dutch label Djax-Up-Beats by Christiaan Macdonald. The project presents a main album as a triple LP plus three additional 12" EPs and comprises 25 tracks that provide a focused look at the earliest steps of the Dutch techno scene. The selection highlights early work by pioneers such as Stefan Robbers as Terrace, Dylan Hermelijn as Planet Gong, Edge Of Motion (with Gert-Jan Schonewille), and Sander Friedeman as Random XS.

Visually and editorially, Delsin once again turns to regular collaborators: new illustrations by Alan Oldham, design by Lost Communication, and explanatory liner notes by Oli Warwick round out the collection. Sonically, all tracks have been remastered by Johanz Westerman to bring out the often somewhat under-served original pressings with greater clarity. Musically, the spectrum ranges from sensitive, melodic machine soundscapes to gritty, acid-driven workouts, hard-hitting techno, and eccentric outliers; “The NL Connection” thus documents both early experiments and early club slammers from the Netherlands, completing Delsin’s series on the history of Djax-Up-Beats.

Across ten tracks, the British DJ and radio host combines current dance productions with the orchestral approach that has defined the series since its beginnings.

For the anniversary edition, Pete Tong collaborates with Armin van Buuren, Poppy Baskcomb, Oden & Fatzo, MNEK, RoRo, Jules Buckley, The Essential Orchestra, Ewan McVicar, Kölsch, Paige Cavell, Ultra Naté, and LP Giobbi. “Toca’s Miracle” opens the LP with Armin van Buuren and Poppy Baskcomb, while “Starlight” documents the collaboration between Oden & Fatzo, MNEK, and Pete Tong. “Rhythm Of The Night” brings together RoRo, Jules Buckley, and The Essential Orchestra, taking its electronic starting point into a large-scale arrangement.

“On The Nature Of Daylight” follows as a collaboration between Pete Tong and Kölsch. Another highlight is “Free (Do What U Want)” with Ultra Naté, LP Giobbi, and Jules Buckley, which is also included as the LP Giobbi Club Edit. In this way, *Ibiza Classics* brings together different forms of electronic music and expands Pete Tong’s fusion of club culture, familiar melodies, and orchestral drama on Sony.

Released on Void Control, Zar and Void Control’s *Temporary EP* brings two musical perspectives into direct exchange. Zar is the alias of Alex Smoke, who uses it for more heavily percussive and rhythm-focused work. For the label’s third EP, the project was revived to develop new material together and interpret each other’s respective working methods.

At the center are Zar’s “Geodesic” and Void Control’s “Temporary,” each expanded with a remix by the other artist. The result is an interplay of precise rhythms, electronic density, and the characteristic ideas of both artists. The release also includes the previously unreleased Void Control dubplate track “Tasm,” adding another distinct facet to the concept.

Alex Smoke has previously released work under his own name on R&S and Soma and also runs the Hum&Haw label. With *Temporary EP*, he translates his rhythm-focused work as Zar into a collaborative format, while Void Control opens its own tracks up for treatment by the guest artist. Limited to 150 copies, the 12-inch was hand-stamped and comes with a sticker and insert. (180 words)

“Uu015” by Uu015 is released as a double LP to mark the fifth anniversary of the Unknown - Untitled label and documents the curatorial direction of the project. The edition is pressed on 180 g black vinyl at Record Industry and comes in a matte reverse-board gatefold sleeve with a blind-embossed UU logo. Die-cut inner windows, black paper inner sleeves, CMYK center labels, and individual shrink-wrapping emphasize the carefully considered physical presence of the release.

Musically, “Uu015” condenses the label’s understanding of anonymously presented club music: the tracks move within the field of electronic dance music, with references to house and techno, while the editorial concept of the release puts the music front and center and usually reveals artist information only in the sleeve. This principle ties in with the white-label tradition and the practice that has shaped Unknown - Untitled since its beginnings.

The compilation focuses on DJ-friendly structures and a minimal presentation; this creates a cohesive impression that showcases both the club-oriented and the more experimental facets of the label. As the first double LP in the series, “Uu015” brings together five years of curatorial work and underscores the distinctive curatorial identity of Unknown - Untitled.

The "Residual Future" 12" by Koloah is released on Mechatronica and brings together six tracks that explore electrified, futuristic forms of electro. The record includes “Graduate,” “Vocodex,” “Elevator,” “System,” “Edge,” and “Jump!”, which together form a dense, coherent narrative between dancefloor energy and sonic precision.

Koloah works with razor-sharp drum programming, distinctive vocal elements, and detailed synth work; the arrangements fuse broken grooves with atmospheric textures and repeatedly draw on processed voices and vocoder sounds. This interplay of mechanical rhythms and human traces is central to the record’s expression and gives the tracks a cool yet highly immediate intensity.

The production is aimed equally at club impact and deep listening: driving basslines and punchy percussion create pressure, while melodic modules and pads open up space for subtle emotion. In this way, Koloah presents on Mechatronica a clearly defined, individual take on modern electro that resonates both in DJ sets and in focused, attentive listening.

With the 12" Manufactured Shit EP released on Orson, Transparent Sound showcases the next level of his creativity while, by and large, remaining true to his style. Orson Bramley, aka Transparent Sound, relies on precise machine funk that fuses mechanical rhythms with warm, sequenced basslines, laying down a clear, dancefloor-oriented foundation.

The productions are defined by tight drum programming and the deliberate use of analog synthesizers; melodic fragments and minimal motifs are carefully layered so that each element gains space while still serving the driving overall flow. This approach explains why Transparent Sound is recognized both within the minimal scene and among machine funk purists.

Musically, the project builds on earlier strains of electro and acid without coming across as nostalgic: references to early electro aesthetics are translated into contemporary arrangements that preserve club functionality yet maintain a distinct, recognizable character. In doing so, Transparent Sound combines tangible club effectiveness with a clearly defined, mechanical sonic palette that is characterized by a constant focus on groove and sound design.

The compilation “Mzansi Bass Curated By Shannen SP,” released on Tratratrax, gathers a concentrated panorama of contemporary South African bass culture and gives the curatorial stage to Shannen SP, known for her detailed, place-based understanding. The selection explores the intersections between 3-step, gqom, the darker strains of amapiano, and local variants of Pretoria rap, connecting established players with new producers from Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and the Eastern Cape.

Musically, the compilation moves between stripped-back, raw electronic sound and trance-like, body-focused bass patterns; the arrangements rely on cybernetic grooves, pointillist melodies, and expansive low-end textures designed equally for club systems and focused listening. The focus is on the physical impact of frequencies and on rhythms that have mutated globally out of local scenes — in variants that reach as far as Brazil and the Netherlands.

The project is deliberately conceived as a celebration of its roots and a glimpse of currents to come: it anchors itself around the presence of DJ Lag as a formative figure while simultaneously placing the spotlight on emerging artists whose productions have already drawn international attention. Shannen SP announces similar curated volumes for the coming years, positioning this compilation as the opening installment of an ongoing edition.

The LP "The Black Sea" by Bot1500 is released on Short Span and leads Shinichi Koboyashi’s project into an intimate, stripped-down sound world. Following the most recent release "Surreal" on Lith Dolina, this album turns even further inward: it stretches out pauses, emphasizes silence, and lets individual motifs breathe more clearly without diluting the producer’s characteristic signature.

Bot1500 combines ambient IDM with artfully arranged pad textures and warm chords shot through with precise breakbeats; the balance between electronic detail work and emotional restraint is a defining trait of the sound. The compositions show an affinity with the logic of dub: more space, targeted echo effects, snare details, and a sparse yet radiant sense of melody shape the sonic image. Koboyashi applies this approach consistently in his productions, giving the music a distinctive, almost cinematic quality.

Thematically, the sea serves as a double metaphor: on the one hand as an inner emotional space, on the other as a geographic motif — a dark, humid summer night on the Japanese coast, a small boat drifting without direction. Musically, the record remains rhythmically focused — most tracks are written at 140 bpm, while the closing "White Flocks" drops the tempo to 120 and brings this southbound journey to an atmospheric close.

The Static Collector EP 12" by Harry, released on High Altitude, marks the label’s third catalog entry and once again brings the Australian-born, Berlin-based producer to the center of the small but defining vinyl program. With this release, High Altitude continues to develop its label profile and presents Harry’s contribution as a standalone 12" that further explores the relationship between producer and imprint.

Musically, the Static Collector EP comprises four tracks, including the cuts listed in the announcement, “It’s Not Working” and “Paranormal Activities,” which, together with “French Inspection” and “Who Are You,” form the set and clearly underscore the electro focus of the record. The production puts emphasis on precise arrangements and compositional clarity, as suggested by the track titles themselves, without resorting to artificial genre expansions. For collectors and DJs, this 12" on High Altitude delivers a concise contribution to the contemporary electro scene and continues the label’s series with Harry’s third release on the imprint.
