Fight the evil hum!

Every turntable must be grounded, otherwise the dreaded humming noise can occur. That's why all high-quality turntables have a ground connection that can be connected to amplifiers and phono preamps. This allows the different reference potentials to be balanced out and the electrical humming noise to disappear.

However, many modern amplifiers, especially those often found in soundbars and streaming speakers, are no longer grounded. Such an ungrounded system is called a “floating mass system.” If a standard turntable is connected to such a “floating mass” amplifier, audible humming noises occur.

That's why High Power it developed the power supply. High Power it is a power supply with a ground connection for Pro-Ject turntables. It eliminates grounding-related hum problems that occur with non-grounded amplifiers (“floating mass systems”). In addition, High Power it delivers cleaner power and more performance for all Pro-Ject 15V DC turntables.

The Stereo Box E is a fully equipped, ultra-compact hi-fi stereo amplifier that offers high audio quality at an affordable price. It features an analog preamplifier stage and a low-noise power amplifier. With seven inputs, it is versatile and offers Bluetooth streaming, a subwoofer output, and a USB-C port for powering streamers. The robust steel housing protects the electronics of the Stereo Box E from external influences. Two complete sets based on the Stereo Box E are also available.

The story

Pro-Ject was founded in 1991 and started a revolution in the consumer electronics industry with the introduction of a manually operated and affordable audiophile turntable. The Pro-Ject 1 was one of the main catalysts for a unique vinyl revival.

In the late 1990s, Pro-Ject had another idea that once again had a major impact on the development of audio technology: micro high-end components under the name “Box Design.”

Modern components and clever technology

Pro-Ject reduced the size of hi-fi component housings and offered great-sounding products at a much lower price. The first product was the Phono Box, followed by a range of hi-fi components such as D/A converters, headphone amplifiers, CD players, power supplies—and, above all, amplifiers.

The original Stereo Box was the first micro-integrated hi-fi stereo amplifier based on a Japanese Flying Mole module and sounded musical and warm – almost like a tube amplifier. Later, Pro-Ject launched the slightly larger MaiA integrated amplifier, which offered a range of additional connectivity options such as Bluetooth, DAC, and phono stage – all in a compact housing.

The STEREO BOX E

Pro-Ject has now developed an amplifier module that comes very close to the MaiA in terms of sound quality, but is much cheaper to produce. Additional minor changes to the phono stage and DAC have made it possible to offer the Stereo Box E at an extremely attractive price of €299.

Compatible with multiple product lines

The Stereo Box E is the ideal basis for a true hi-fi system. It has the same size and design as the highly acclaimed Pro-Ject Box Design products in the E, S, and DS lines. This allows customers to put together their own system with a matching CD player, streamer, internet radio, and turntable.

“Jazzy Zoetrope” by 7ray feat. Triple Ace is presented as a carefully conceived LP edition on Pro-Ject: an audiophile double album that combines studio and live recordings. The two records bring together selected jazz standards such as “Night and Day,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Nature Boy,” and “One for My Baby,” thus providing a clear framework for the interpretive work. The production follows an AAA approach—analog recording, analog mixing, and analog mastering—and places great emphasis on natural sound reproduction.

Musically, 7ray feat. Triple Ace combines vocal intimacy with chamber-style accompaniment; the arrangements rely on sparse instrumentation, subtle dynamics, and precise spatial imaging. The lineup also includes trumpeter Simon Plötzeneder, who serves as a sonic counterpoint. In the studio, the interplay of voice, guitar, piano, and brass unfolds its nuances, while on the live recording the ensemble’s immediate responsiveness at the Pro-Ject headquarters comes to the fore.

From a technical standpoint, the release documents the work at Studio Baumgarten and in the Pro-Ject rooms: minimal miking, recordings on Studer and Otari machines, and mixdown using vintage console technology. David Kübelböck and Joachim Bäck were responsible for the recording; 7ray and Andy Beit handled the mixing. The pressing on 2 x 180 g vinyl provides the physical realization of the production and underscores the project’s documentary ambition.

Acrylic main platter
The main platter of the Debut Reference 10 is made
of high-quality acrylic with a satin finish and

eliminates the need for additional damping materials.
Unlike metal turntables, where you
have to place a felt mat between the record and the turntable,
you can place your record directly on the
acrylic surface.

Height-adjustable damped feet
The new Debut Reference 10 rests on three height-adjustable,
TPE-damped feet that provide a stable and
isolated foundation. This three-point system
was deliberately chosen over four feet because it
provides excellent stability on uneven surfaces
and allows for precise leveling with minimal
effort.

Premium DC/AC power generator

“cheap-looking” switching power supply. We do

Why an all-in-one turntable?

Record players and analog music listening have gained popularity in recent years, and many people are looking for a simple plug-and-play solution. Many products have been released, though until now there have only been two solutions, which, in our opinion, still don’t fully tap into the potential of analog players. The best-known is probably a plastic record player with built-in speakers.
We believe that the only true solution is our Juke Box E1. It features a built-in preamplifier and power amplifier. This allows you to place any speakers far apart from each other to minimize the risk of acoustic feedback and create a true stereo experience.

Adjust the Sound

With the included remote control, you can do more than just switch inputs, turn the system on and off, and adjust the volume. You can also fine-tune the music you’re playing. Press the Loudness button to apply a standard preset, or adjust the sound yourself using the Bass and Treble buttons.

Today, many amplifiers do not have a specific phono cartridge input. Phono Box E is an ideal phono preamplifier for these hifi systems. We have always had one purpose since our establishment in 1991: bring HiFi Stereo music enjoyment to as many people as possible. With the A1 we added a completely new range to our portfolio: The AUTOMAT line. The automatic drive is still handmade in Germany by a traditional manufacture with a wealth of experience in making automatic turntables. The assembly is done in the Czech Republic by technicians with decade long experience. The A1.2 has a fully automatic start/stop with the automatics being completely disengaged and decoupled during the entire runtime of the record. The fully mechanical automatics are engaged when you press start and the tonearm is automatically moved to the lead in groove of the record. Once playing, the automatics are completely taken out of the equation and do not affect the playback quality.

This special edition turntable, celebrating Elvis's 90th birthday, is based on our acclaimed audiophile T2. The elegantly crafted, CNC-milled base features LEDs that display the beautiful Elvis logo. The 1.7 kg glass platter ensures a resonance-free design that effectively eliminates the disadvantages associated with plastic or lightweight steel alternatives. Complementing these improvements, specially selected platter feet effectively isolate the platter from ambient vibrations near your hi-fi system.

Speed control, motor, and drive

The motor drives a belt system connected to our special sub-platter made of ABS and fiberglass. This sub-platter is mounted on an ultra-precise main bearing with a tolerance of only 0.001 mm, a hardened steel axle, and a brass bushing. While most alternative products use unregulated DC motors with large speed fluctuations, the T2 features our proven system of an electronically controlled AC motor with precise speed control. The T2 also features electronic speed switching between 33 and 45 rpm. The result is a quiet, stable drive system for the turntable.

The Tonearm

The Elvis Turntable features a straight 9-inch tonearm made from a single piece of aluminum, combined with a low-friction bearing for absolute precision. In addition to its clean and elegant appearance, the integrated headshell causes no additional vibrations and represents a major improvement over other removable, screwed-on, or glued-on headshells! It is also equipped with our adjustable, spring-based anti-skating mechanism, which gets the most out of the cartridge.

Included accessories

The package includes a super-shielded, low-capacitance, semi-balanced phono cable specially designed by Pro-Ject – not a standard RCA cable. An acrylic dust cover is also included to keep your turntable dust-free when you're not playing records. Our turntables demand conscious music listening. The Debut PRO S Balanced takes this philosophy to the extreme. We finished all parts except for the polished spindle in matte black. Deeply driven
The electronically regulated synchronous motor drives the platter and guarantees the most accurate and stable speeds. Change between them easily with the toggle switch. With the supplied round belt for 78 rpm you can also listen to your shellac records.

A new platter - a deeper dish
The die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing also MC cartridges to work properly.
The anti-magnetic heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. The included Record Puck E provides an extra level of damping and stability.

Azimuth & VTA Adjustment
The newly designed tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm height can be continuously adjusted by loosening the two grub screws. These settings give you the option of adapting the tonearm to height changes allowing the use of different turntable mats or other cartridges to always achieve the best sound quality. Setting and experimenting with the VTA & Azimuth is crucial in extracting every last bit of performance out of your cartridges.

The Stereo Box E is a fully equipped, ultra-compact hi-fi stereo amplifier that offers high audio quality at an affordable price. It features an analog preamplifier stage and a low-noise power amplifier. The story

Pro-Ject was founded in 1991 and started a revolution in the consumer electronics industry with the introduction of a manually operated and affordable audiophile turntable. The Pro-Ject 1 was one of the main catalysts for a unique vinyl revival.

In the late 1990s, Pro-Ject had another idea that once again had a major impact on the development of audio technology: micro high-end components under the name “Box Design.”

Modern components and clever technology

Pro-Ject reduced the size of hi-fi component housings and offered great-sounding products at a much lower price. The first product was the Phono Box, followed by a range of hi-fi components such as D/A converters, headphone amplifiers, CD players, power supplies—and, above all, amplifiers.

The original Stereo Box was the first micro-integrated hi-fi stereo amplifier based on a Japanese Flying Mole module and sounded musical and warm – almost like a tube amplifier. Later, Pro-Ject launched the slightly larger MaiA integrated amplifier, which offered a range of additional connectivity options such as Bluetooth, DAC, and phono stage – all in a compact housing.

The STEREO BOX E

Pro-Ject has now developed an amplifier module that comes very close to the MaiA in terms of sound quality, but is much cheaper to produce. Additional minor changes to the phono stage and DAC made it possible to offer the Stereo Box E at an extremely attractive price of €299.

Compatible with multiple product lines

The Stereo Box E is the ideal basis for a true hi-fi system. It has the same size and design as the highly acclaimed Pro-Ject Box Design products in the E, S, and DS lines. This allows customers to put together their own system with a matching CD player, streamer, internet radio, and turntable.

A beautiful acrylic entry-level record player for the X-Series. This player shares features of its more expensive brethren while maintaining an extremely light look. The technical parts seem to be floating atop an almost invisible slab of acrylic. Top that off with True Balanced Connection capabilities and you got yourself a truly ethereal player!

A clear view
For 33 years we have been developing turntables, which focus on sound and not on features, and we are never afraid of experiments to achieve an even better sound.
Acryl was always part of the Pro-Ject history. The first ever acrylic turntable was the Pro-Ject 6.9 Perspective which was a huge success. Also, the 6PerspeX is part of our product range since over 15 years already and still one of our best performers. The limited edition Perspective Final Edition was a great success as well and sold out in a very short time.
These turntables were examples where we combined the advantages of the special look and acoustical damping of acryl.

A perfect combination
The use of acryl is not as easy as you would think. The high internal damping ability is a good characteristic, but to get a sonical perfect result, all parts of a turntable need to work together. From measurements and listening tests we know, that acryl can overdamp the turntable which results in a very dry sound character. The combination with the aluminium tonearm and platter and the matched Pick it PRO Balanced cartridge, paired with the special feet, make the XA B lively and it convinces with a dynamic and detailed sound signature.
The development of an acrylic turntable is more complex, but we accepted the challenge once again. The result is a wonderful sounding & looking, but still affordable turntable.

What's True Balanced?
The "B" in XA B stands for balanced. Balanced audio connections are standard among professional musicians, recording studios, and live concerts. It is essential to have a stable & interference-free connection as these signals, The significant advantage of a balanced connection is its ability to remove picked up noise and interferences.
The XA B comes with our balanced MM cartridge - the Pick it Pro Balanced - and a balanced 5P DIN phono output.

A milestone for the next decades
The Debut PRO B brings an absolutely new design to Pro-Ject turntables. The audiophile turntable is convincing in all respects – not only visually, but more importantly also in terms of sound.

The precision CNC milled parts are optically perfectly coordinated and lead the Debut PRO B to its modern simple, elegant and unprecedented design. The nickel finish of all these aluminium components result in a hard, resistant surface. This process enables us to produce very high-quality and sustainable components and avoid plastics and similar materials that continue to age over time and would more importantly also degrade sound quality.

The tonearm bearing is a completely new design. Precision CNC'd out of a single block of aluminium, you can see all the production stages above. The last step is putting a nickel finish on it. This will increase the rigidity of the bearing, ensuring free and fluid movement of the tonearm and precise tracking without material degration in looks or function.

Deeply driven
The electronically regulated synchronous motor drives the platter and guarantees the most accurate and stable speeds. Change between them easily with the toggle switch. With the supplied round belt for 78 rpm you can also listen to your shellac records.

A new platter - a deeper dish
The new Debut PRO B platter is a first on any Pro-Ject turntable. It features a notch for the record label and together with our Record Puck PRO (available separately) the puck's weight will press your record tightly against the platter. The die-cast aluminium platter is reworked and precision balanced in an extra step to obtain an evenly spinning platter. It is anti-magnetic, allowing MC cartridges to work properly. Delve deep into the vast upgrade path the Debut PRO B has to offer!

The anti-magnetic heavy aluminium platter has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and minimizes wow and flutter. Our seperately available Record Puck PRO provides an extra level of damping and stability, so it is the perfect add-on for the Debut PRO B.

Hybrid Tonearm
The new Debut PRO B features a one-piece carbon-aluminium sandwich tonearm. The carbon layer gives the tonearm a high degree of rigidity, while the inner aluminium tube takes over the damping of the tonearm. This makes the tonearm perfect to be upgraded with higher-end MC cartridges!

Azimuth & VTA Adjustment
The newly designed tonearm base allows you to adjust both the azimuth and the vertical tracking angle (VTA). The tonearm height can be continuously adjusted by loosening the two grub screws. These settings give you the option of adapting the tonearm to height changes allowing the use of different turntable mats or other cartridges to always achieve the best sound quality.
