The Orange/Red/Black edition of Misfits’ *American Psycho* LP is released on Geffen and comes as a 1LP in a gatefold jacket on orange, red, and black mixed vinyl. This edition uses 192 kHz/24-bit digital transfers from the original EQ’d analog master tapes and was remastered for the vinyl format; the final mastering was handled by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering. The release brings the 1997 album back in a physical edition that includes bonus material while retaining the original release’s album sequencing.

Musically, *American Psycho* documents the band’s return in the late 1990s and includes “Dig Up Her Bones,” one of the singles released at the time, along with the bonus-track version of “Dead Kings Rise,” added to the LP, and the hidden track “Hell Night.” Producer Daniel Rey is credited as a contributor to the original recordings; the album credits Michale Graves (vocals), Jerry (bass), Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (guitar), and Dr. Chud (drums). For fans of the punk/hardcore scene, Geffen’s edition of the *American Psycho* LP offers a technically enhanced, collector-worthy reworking of the original, bringing together the album’s song selection and additional tracks in a gatefold presentation.

The Yellow/Black colored vinyl edition of the “Smash” LP by The Offspring has been released on Epitaph Europe. This version presents the album on LP in the track sequence characteristic of “Smash” and credits producer Thom Wilson as a key figure in its production. The record includes the standout singles “Come Out And Play” and “Self Esteem,” complemented by tracks such as “Gotta Get Away” and the title song “Smash,” which have largely defined the album’s identity. Epitaph Europe is issuing this edition as a visible nod to the original release, with the Yellow/Black colored vinyl clearly distinguishing this physical version.

Musically, this edition of “Smash” showcases the blend of fast punk tempos, guitar-driven riffs, and catchy choruses that brought lasting recognition to The Offspring. The Yellow/Black colored vinyl edition offers the LP in a striking visual presentation while preserving the original arrangements and song structures in analog form. For fans and listeners who value a visually distinctive edition, this “Smash” LP by The Offspring on Epitaph Europe combines the familiar tracks with a clearly defined vinyl variant.

With *No Division*, Hot Water Music released one of the defining melodic punk albums of their career in 1999, cementing their reputation as one of the most important bands in the U.S. underground scene. Combining raw emotion, captivating hooks, and the unmistakable dual vocals of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard, the album brings intensity and passion together in perfect fashion. This vinyl reissue returns a genre classic to the shelf—one that has lost none of its impact even decades later. Each limited to 500 copies.

The Trans White/Vaseline Colored Vinyl edition of Bad Brains’ *Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording* LP is released by Trust and documents the previously unreleased studio recording session from Inner Ear Studio in March 1979. The release features six tracks, including the very first studio recording of “Pay to Cum,” and was remixed for the 2026 edition by Ian MacKaye and mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic. The recordings come from an approximately one-hour studio session and capture the band’s raw, immediate energy at the beginning of its career; the package was assembled in collaboration with Bad Brains and will be released on November 6, 2026.

As a historical document, *Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording* presents the band in a state of pure intensity: concise, fast arrangements, punchy riffs, and a performance that already hinted at the direction of later classics. The LP artwork incorporates handwritten elements and a Duct-Tape logo created by Darryl Jenifer, which also appears as an engraving on Side B; the record is therefore aimed explicitly at collectors and fans of the early scene. Trust is releasing the LP on Colored Vinyl, offering an immediate glimpse into Bad Brains’ origins within punk and hardcore history.

The "Last Temptation Of Reid" LP by Lard is released on Alternative Tentacles and returns as a newly remastered reissue; after multiple test pressings and production delays, the project was personally halted by Jello Biafra to initiate a complete remix, so this edition appears as a sonically reworked version.

The record brings together the characteristic blend of powerful industrial sound and direct punk rock, driven by Biafra’s biting lyrics, Al Jourgensen’s guitar work, and Paul Barker’s propulsive bass. This conglomeration of political indictment, sardonic humor, and distorted density shapes tracks like "Forkboy," "Pineapple Face" and "Drug Raid at 4 AM," making the release a striking chapter in the work of the musicians involved.

As a special extra, the new pressing also includes a one-sided 12" featuring "I Am Your Clock," previously available only as a UK single and now reissued for the first time. Alternative Tentacles highlights the improved sound quality of this edition; according to the label, it is a more defined, remastered version that presents the album with contemporary dynamics.

When you love a band, you want two things: for them to surprise you, and to remain true to themselves. And that is exactly what Die Verlierer achieve on their third album, Ideale. They seem completely unconcerned with what might be expected of them. Big choruses, long songs, instrumental passages and more experimental moments lead the songs down unfamiliar paths. Holding it all together is the band's unmistakable sound - a major part of their charm - and the infectious energy that has defined Die Verlierer since their first album. For all this musical freedom, their stance stays solid. The lyrics are openly political: against greed, war and the old men in power who make decisions over our heads, cash in and leave us with the consequences. (V.Varlet)

The “Die Tödin” LP by Die Tödin is released on Heartworm Press and presents the band’s self-titled album in a distinctly indie rock / alternative vein. The material is characterized by striking guitar motifs, focused song structures, and compact arrangements; melodic lines and subtle rhythmic shifts create the songs’ arc of tension and give the album a clear internal dramatic contour.

Die Tödin hails from Gelsenkirchen and previously released individual singles such as “Wild” and “Dissonanz des Lebens,” which already combined catchiness with atmospheric density. On the LP, the band continues this trajectory: quieter passages lead into powerful moments, the vocals remain present and serve as the thematic focal point, while instrumental parts leave room for detail.

Heartworm Press is releasing the “Die Tödin” LP as a carefully crafted album whose production emphasizes the immediate presence of the recordings and gives lyrical and musical nuances equal weight. Taken as a whole, the release underscores the artistic individuality of Die Tödin and marks a clear step forward in the evolution of their indie rock / alternative sound.

The lime vinyl edition of the compilation "Short Music For Short People" was released as an LP on Fat Wreck Chords and brings together 101 bands, each contributing an extremely short track. The concept is based on punchy mini-songs of around 30 seconds each, turning the record into a tightly sequenced run of quick ideas that showcases the scene’s diversity in compact snapshots.

The compilation originally dates back to 1999; the LP version reproduces the well-known tracklist, including Bad Religion with "Out Of Hand," NOFX with "See Her Pee," and Blink-182 with "Family Reunion." Fat Wreck Chords brings together established names alongside lesser-known acts, making the selection representative of the stylistic range within punk / hardcore.

The lime vinyl pressing highlights the reissue concept both sonically and visually: the colored format clearly sets this edition apart from earlier black vinyl pressings. The sequence of 101 compact contributions is preserved on a single LP, so the original concept of ultra-short tracks can be experienced directly.

With this release, Fat Wreck Chords brings a historic compilation back into its vinyl catalog while at the same time documenting an unusual format within the punk compilation tradition. The edition offers a focused way to experience these short, pointed songs in one place.

The "Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing" LP by Latterman is released on No Idea and brings the Long Island band's debut back as a remastered, newly designed reissue, reworked specifically for vinyl. The release has been tailored to the format and credits Dave Eck with the remastering, transferring the originally unpolished energy to LP in a clearer form.

Musically, "Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing" documents early melodic punk impulses paired with a positive, community-oriented mindset; lyrics and vocals convey empathy and solidarity, making the album a striking testament to the DIY scene. The remastered edition emphasizes this dynamic without blurring the immediate directness of the original recordings. Members of the band later continued their careers in projects such as Bridge and Tunnel and RVIVR, further underscoring the historical importance of this record.

After a longer hiatus, No Idea is reissuing the LP; it is the first pressing in roughly a decade, once again making Latterman's early work accessible to a wider audience. The design of the new edition complements the sonic overhaul and turns the "Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing" LP into a relevant reappraisal of this band classic.

The “Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress” LP by Gulch is released on Closed Casket Activities and presents the band’s debut album in physical form: eight short, concise tracks with a total running time of around 15 minutes that deliver the material in a compact, immediate way. The release was primarily offered as an LP and, in addition to the title track “Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress,” includes striking cuts such as “Self-Inflicted Mental Terror” that define the character of the record.

The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden Studio in Oakland; the cover artwork is by Boone Naka, whose visual style complements the sonic character of the record. The production relies on clear, dense sound design that channels the band’s energy into tight structures and still leaves room, despite the short running times, for memorable riffs and aggressive vocals. The album was released digitally and on LP, added to streaming platforms, and quickly gained attention within the scene. For the physical edition, several vinyl variants were produced; the record is available both through the label’s webstore and via multiple distributors.

The Purple Pink vinyl edition of the “Gotta Get Out” LP by The Linda Lindas is being released on Reprise, bringing the Los Angeles band’s new album to market as a colored pressing. The release combines fresh singles like “Burning Out” with additional tracks that further refine the group’s songwriting; the album is part of the rollout for their upcoming Reprise release.

Musically, The Linda Lindas use this record to explore the spaces between punk, catchy guitar-driven music, and emo-adjacent melodies. Multi-part vocal choruses and dense guitar walls meet direct, at times bilingual lyrics; the album includes “Closer,” a collaboration with Hayley Williams, who appears both as vocalist and co-writer, adding extra dimensions to the track.

The band—Lucia de la Garza, Mila de la Garza, Bela Salazar, and Eloise Wong—has, since their viral breakthrough with “Racist, Sexist Boy,” grown into a fixture of the young punk scene. The move to Reprise also marks a new phase in their evolution, one in which they display a broader stylistic range without sacrificing the raw energy of their early performances.

What “Gotta Get Out” makes clear is the combination of youthful directness and ambitious song structures: influences from post-punk and new wave bands sit alongside pop-oriented hooks, while the lyrics weave together uncertainty and moments of departure—a clear statement by The Linda Lindas toward further evolution.

The colored vinyl edition of the “Hoss” LP by Lagwagon is released by Fat Wreck Chords and presents the band’s third album in a new pressing.

“Hoss” is regarded as a defining example of melodic skate/pop punk: Joey Cape is responsible for writing all the songs, combining short, catchy structures with driving guitars. Stand-out tracks like “Razor Burn,” “Move the Car,” and “Bombs Away” showcase the blend of speed, melody, and clear choruses that still characterizes the record today.

The album’s lineup features Joey Cape (vocals), Shawn Dewey and Chris Flippin (guitars), Jesse Buglione (bass), and Derrick Plourde (drums). The album was produced by Ryan Greene, with mastering by Eddie Schreier. This combination delivers precise, punchy production that gives the arrangements clear definition.

The colored vinyl edition offers fans and newcomers a tangible version of this milestone from the Fat Wreck catalog and once again puts the tight, melody-focused songs front and center. The release stays true to the original song structures and the energetic playing style that helped define Lagwagon.

The “Ramones” double LP released by Analogue Productions documents the New York band’s 1976 debut album of the same name. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl at 45 rpm, the release comes in a gatefold jacket and was mastered from the original master tape. Both LPs were pressed at Quality Record Pressings.

With “Ramones,” the band distilled rock ’n’ roll into a handful of immediately effective elements: short songs, driving guitars, simple melodies, and uncompromising speed. “Blitzkrieg Bop,” “Beat On The Brat,” and “Judy Is A Punk” rank among the defining moments on an album that played a decisive role in shaping American punk. “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue” also demonstrate how precisely Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, and Tommy Ramone distilled their ideas.

Producer Craig Leon and engineer Rob Freeman captured the direct energy of the recordings without obscuring the melodic core of the songs. Alongside original material, the album includes a distinctive take on Chris Montez’s song “Let’s Dance.” Analogue Productions presents the classic as an audiophile double LP, combining the debut’s historical significance with an elaborate gatefold presentation. The release includes all fourteen original tracks, including “Havana Affair,” “53rd & 3rd,” and “Today You Love, Tomorrow The World.”

The Starligt Yellow Vinyl edition of NOFX’s *The War On Errorism* LP was released on Fat Wreck Chords and presents the reissue with updated cover artwork. The release brings the album back to Fat Wreck Chords’ catalog and references the original release from the early 2000s; the reissue includes the complete tracklist, including well-known songs such as “Franco Un-American” and “The Separation of Church and Skate.” Fat Wreck Chords lists the various vinyl variants and also announces a planned shipment of the reissue.

Musically, the *The War On Errorism* LP maintains the original’s political tone: the lyrics take a satirical look at current political and social issues, driven by the distinctive punk attitude that has characterized NOFX for decades. The Starligt Yellow Vinyl reissue offers the familiar selection of songs in the same order as on the album and is aimed at listeners who appreciate the band’s political edge and fast, melodic punk sound. Additional information about the tracklist and the included songs can also be found on the Bandcamp and label pages, which document the complete album version.

The "H2O" LP by H2O was released on Blackout. This debut release on the label captured the band’s early sound and quickly became a reference point within the New York hardcore scene; the record brings together compact, to‑the‑point songs and was reissued on vinyl to mark its anniversary.

Musically, H2O presents a blend of raw hardcore energy and catchy melodies: short, direct arrangements meet anthemic choruses and a distinctly positive, upbeat attitude that defines the characteristic identity of the project. Tracks like "Family Tree" and "5 Yr. Plan" are among the album’s defining songs and illustrate the combination of drive and vocal melody that established H2O within the scene.

The recordings took place from January 15 to 17, 1996 at Brielle Studios in New York and were produced by Larry Buksbaum together with the band; the CD was recorded and mixed within three days. The lineup features Toby Morse (vocals), Todd Morse (guitar, backing vocals), Rusty Pistachio (guitar), Eric Rice (bass), and Todd Friend (drums), supplemented by guest appearances such as Dicky Barrett. This clear, no‑frills production approach underscores the songs’ direct impact.

The “Kings Of Pop” LP by Homegrown is released on Drive-Thru and represents the band’s third studio album, marked by gripping melodies and striking hooks. Producer Steve Evetts guided the band through the recording sessions at Big Fish Studios in Encinitas and Sonik Wire in Irvine; mixing took place at Jake’s Place, with mastering handled by Steven Marcussen. The record features twelve tracks, including the singles “You’re Not Alone” and “Kiss Me, Diss Me.” The song “Disaster” closes the album and contains several hidden tracks that add extra moments of surprise.

Musically, “Kings Of Pop” sits in the indie rock / alternative realm with pronounced pop-punk elements: fast guitar work meets multi-part vocals and catchy choruses, while shifting tempos create a sense of dynamics. Homegrown combines ironic lyrics with carefully arranged melodic arcs, giving the record both raw energy and nuanced songwriting detail. The Drive-Thru release presents the material in a vinyl edition that brings out the production and arrangements with clarity and lends the album its distinctive presence.

Saves The Day’s “Can’t Slow Down” LP is being released by Equal Vision as a 25th Anniversary Green Ripple Vinyl Edition. The debut by the band from Princeton, New Jersey, released in 1998, marked an important early milestone for the label, combining fast, catchy punk with melodic hardcore and emotional undertones.

Saves The Day recorded the album during winter break of their final year of high school. Chris Conley handled vocals and guitar, supported by Anthony Anastasio and Justin Gaylord on guitars, Sean McGrath on bass, and Bryan Newman on drums. Steve Evetts produced “Can’t Slow Down,” shaping the direct, powerful sound of the band’s early period. The songs combine short, punchy structures with melodic guitars and a distinctly emotional core.

Standout tracks include the energetic opener “Deciding,” the concise “The Choke,” and “Three Miles Down,” whose impact later contributed to the creation of the acoustic EP “I’m Sorry I’m Leaving.” “Jodie” also makes a distinctive closing statement with its comparatively extended running time. The 25th Anniversary edition includes 14 songs in total and brings Saves The Day’s debut back on Green Ripple Vinyl. Equal Vision thus revisits one of the defining early albums in its catalog.

The colored vinyl edition of the “Suburban Decay” LP by Cosmic Joke was released on Revelation and presents the album in a deliberately intense format. With “Suburban Decay,” Cosmic Joke delivers a decidedly direct contribution to punk / hardcore and uses the LP format to capture its tracks in a compact, focused way. Revelation presents the release as part of its still-active program within the hardcore scene.

Musically, Cosmic Joke relies on tight song structures, pounding drum rhythms, and distorted guitars that carry the impulsive core of the tracks. The vocals remain unpolished and immediate, and the arrangements dispense with unnecessary ornamentation in favor of a clear performance geared toward presence. This approach gives “Suburban Decay” a palpable dynamic between aggression and melody, without diluting the simple, immediate impact of the songs.

The release on Revelation underscores Cosmic Joke’s aim to translate traditional hardcore elements into a contemporary form. The colored vinyl edition of the “Suburban Decay” LP thus offers a solid physical version for listeners who appreciate the unvarnished energy and dense compactness of this punk / hardcore contribution.

THE Nerve Agents were born from the late-’90s, Bay Area Hardcore scene with vocalist Eric Ozenne, formerly of local stalwarts Unit Pride and Redemption 87, joining with Tim Presley and Andy Granelli of Model American. What resulted was a throwback sound to an era of hardcore punk not unlike early-YOUTH OF Today, Circle Jerks, 7 Seconds, and Agnostic Front, that still managed to showcase the members’ personalities and experiences, with art and lyrics reflecting on Ozenne’s time in the military with vivid references to the horrors of chemical weapons. With this eight-song EP as the catalyst, THE Nerve Agents steep trajectory in the West Coast hardcore and punk underground found them playing smaller, more formative shows and growing alongside bands like Tiger Army and THE Distillers (which Nerve Agents drummer Andy Granelli would join and play with from 2000 to present day). The EP was a perfect match for Revelation Records, who, in the late 1990s with THE Nerve Agents, IN MY Eyes, Where Fear AND Weapons Meet, and Better Than A Thousand, was finding a return to the fast hardcore sound that brought them to underground music fame ten years prior. This new pressing is the first vinyl pressing since 2014 and features a full-color obi strip plus an eight-page booklet with lyrics, and expanded artwork featuring flyers, and writings from both scene luminaries and casual fans of the band, showing THE Nerve Agents deep connection and reverence to all who they touched.

Grenzkontrolle’s “Piraten” 10-inch was released by Bodenlos, presenting the Cologne-based group’s EP in a compact, tangible physical format. The release contains three tracks and runs just under nine minutes in total; “Neumarkt” was presented as the first single. Bodenlos serves as the label, distribution is handled by VARY, and the title “Piraten” explicitly references the Edelweiss Pirates as a historical point of reference.

Musically, Grenzkontrolle takes a concise, immediate approach on “Piraten,” combining rhythmic precision with darker, almost psychedelic-tinged moments. Vocalist Don L. Gaspár Ali takes the vocal lead, supported by Schuttland, Kodia Funk, and Roza Rot, whose interplay moves between driving guitars and pointed synth layers. The lyrics and arrangements work with biting, condensed imagery, bringing individual motifs briefly and sharply into focus in tracks such as “Traum ist aus” and “Tür.” The “Piraten” 10-inch shows Grenzkontrolle at a point where concise song forms, a clear stance, and an unvarnished sound come together, establishing the band as a distinctive voice somewhere between post-punk and punk/hardcore. This release captures the band’s current energy and continues the work Grenzkontrolle began with its earlier releases.

The Clear/Black/White/Pink Splatter edition of the “Would You Let Your Son Room With A Doll” LP by New York Dolls is released on Cleopatra and focuses on early recordings by the band that have previously been difficult to access. The release brings together rarities from the early phases of the Dolls’ history, including the sessions referred to as the Actress sessions with Johnny Thunders and Arthur Kane, as well as selected live and studio demos.

The LP complements the music with extensive liner notes by Dave Thompson and a selection of rare photographs that provide context for the period in which the tracks were recorded. Musically, the compilation features well-known songs such as “Personality Crisis” and “Frankenstein” alongside other early tracks that showcase the band’s raw glam and rock character in various recording versions. The vinyl comes with a specially screen-printed poster; the edition of this extra is limited to 250 copies. For fans and collectors, the “Would You Let Your Son Room With A Doll” LP by New York Dolls on Cleopatra thus offers documentary insights into the band’s origins along with a physical edition featuring extras that make the early studio and live recordings more tangible.

Featuring an over-the-top live set from Down Under, RockNReelinInAucklandNewZealandXXX was recorded at the 100th show of The Cramps’ 1986 Date With Elvis Tour. The woman you hear screaming throughout the first half actually fainted when she stopped screaming! Included alongside other classic tunes are fractured versions of actual Elvis Presley hits “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Do the Clam” (angora angst written for Elvis by film-maker Ed Wood’s wife Dolores Fuller!). The “Endless Parade” LP by Graphic Violets is being released on HoZac and carries Rob Garcia’s project forward from the six-track debut cassette statement to a fully realized album. Across thirteen songs, Garcia probes a sense of confinement — loss of control, dependence, and the search for meaning take center stage — without letting the music sink into leaden sludge. Musically, “Endless Parade” harkens back to the Dunedin aesthetic, pairing jangle-oriented melodies with a pop-leaning, self-reflective attitude; parallels to Tall Dwarfs, Swell Maps, Wire, and Psychic TV are readily apparent.

Garcia wrote, performed, and recorded every note on the album himself, giving the tracks an immediate, clearly defined personal stamp. Opener “Throwing Rocks” sets the tone with a manic drive, and closer “How Can Everything Be So Wrong” distills the album’s thematic weight in striking fashion. Lyrically, the material often stays sober and contemplative, at times marked by the anger and resignation Erin O’Hare teases out in the liner notes. The “Endless Parade” LP is coming out on HoZac in an initial pressing of 400 copies on black vinyl and simultaneously documents Garcia’s return to music after an extended hiatus, during which he reoriented himself and rediscovered writing for his own purposes.

The “Bonus Fat Weinerschnitzel” tape by Descendents is released by ORG Music and brings together early recordings by the band in a compact cassette format. The collection combines the original debut single with the 1981 Fat EP and the outtake “Global Probing,” highlighting the band’s transition from surf-infused power pop to a concise hardcore sound. The tape edition features short tracks such as “Weinerschnitzel” and “I Like Food,” which stand out for their brief arrangements and distinctive staccato riffs.

Originally released by New Alliance Records in 1985, the reissue features the lineup of Milo Aukerman (vocals on side A), Bill Stevenson (drums, backing vocals), Frank Navetta (guitar, backing vocals; lead vocals on “Ride the Wild”), and Tony Lombardo (bass; lead vocals on “It's a Hectic World”). Production and engineering were handled by Spot, while the artwork was provided by Frank Navetta. The ORG Music tape edition comes as a cassette with a split red-and-white shell and offers a historically valuable document of this early Descendents material, making the band’s decisive steps toward their later debut, “Milo Goes to College,” easy to trace.

The Salmon Vinyl Edition of the "Minor Threat (First 2 7"s) Salmon Vinyl With Pink Jacket Edition" LP by Minor Threat is being released on Dischord.

The release compiles the band’s early Dischord singles in a newly remastered reissue; the collection includes the two original EPs and brings the short, punchy tracks back to vinyl with updated sound. The recordings were made in the context of the early Washington, D.C. scene and reflect the raw production aesthetic of that era, with sharp guitar riffs, stripped-down arrangements, and direct, hard-hitting drum work.

Minor Threat are regarded as a defining voice of Washington, D.C. hardcore punk; vocalist Ian MacKaye, guitarist Lyle Preslar, bassist Brian Baker, and drummer Jeff Nelson helped shape an ethos with songs like "Straight Edge" and "In My Eyes" that has resonated far beyond the tracks themselves. The songs thrive on speed and concision, lyrically shifting between personal statements and social observations; the compact format of the tracks makes the band’s energy feel immediate. This reissue thus offers a documented retrospective on an early cornerstone of the scene.

The album documents Against Me! at a point when punk, blues, folk, and American rock converged; the original recording was produced by Rob McGregor, with the sessions taking place at Goldentone in Gainesville and Ardent Studios in Memphis. Standout songs such as “Sink, Florida, Sink” and “Cavalier Eternal” are among the best-known tracks on this release, which reached number 36 on the U.S. independent charts. Critics repeatedly praised the album for its explosive energy and songwriting; AllMusic, for example, described “As the Eternal Cowboy” as one of the early-2000s punk albums that transcends its genre. Frontwoman Laura Jane Grace shapes the sound of this album with her vocals and songwriting, and this special Fat Wreck edition presents it in a new collector’s format.

The opaque pink vinyl edition of the “Howls From The Holographic Heart” LP by The Number Twelve Looks Like You is being released by Equal Vision and marks the band’s first full-length studio album in six years. Produced by Jeremy Cormitas, Trae Titus, and guitarist Alexis Pareja, the record gains a distinctly coherent feel and recognizable musical signature from vocalist Jesse Korman, Pareja, bassist Cody McCorry, and drummer Michael DeMarco.

Musically, “Howls From The Holographic Heart” showcases the band’s characteristic balance of technical finesse and melodic focus. The material ranges from chaotic, screamo-driven outbursts to unusual moments like the highlighted single “Joy Is A Weapon,” featuring Foxy Shazam, which toys with an almost salsa-like death metal impulse. Tracks such as “Trust Chaos” and the contemplative, progressive “Glow In The Dark Skin” demonstrate how the group weaves together structured complexity and hook-laden melodies without feeling compelled to follow prevailing trends.

The Equal Vision release underscores the band’s ambition to push familiar elements forward while daring to explore surprising arrangements; the opaque pink vinyl edition gives this chapter of the band’s history a strong visual and sonic presence.

The “The Day They Let You Out Is The Day They Might Not Let You Come Back” LP by Peter Jefferies is being released on Grapefruit and brings the singer-songwriter back into the punk / hardcore universe with forceful presence. The LP picks up where Jefferies’ haunting voice and stripped-down arrangements have their most immediate impact; on Grapefruit, his comeback takes shape as a physical release and underscores the raw, direct character of the material.

Since the early 1980s, Peter Jefferies has been regarded as a defining figure of the New Zealand underground scene; his work with Nocturnal Projections and This Kind of Punishment, as well as his solo series, has made him a fixed point of reference. On this LP, you can hear the experience of a songwriter who, despite a long break, has preserved a sharply defined, haunting musical language.

The album is presented as his first new full-length release after a hiatus of several years and focuses on compact, energetic tracks that combine Jefferies’ signature melodic fragments with direct, hard-hitting lyrics. With this LP, Grapefruit documents a return that highlights both the artist’s biography and his unmistakable approach to voice and songwriting.

The LP released on Blowed Out was also offered for preorder through the label’s online shop.

Musically, “Terraform The Afterlife” falls within the punk / hardcore realm, with clear post-hardcore influences. Rising melodic lines and unruly vocals overlay short, sharp-edged arrangements, standing out particularly on songs such as “Tiger Baby” and “Terminatrix.” Ross Robinson’s production emphasizes raw immediacy, while the guitar work and drumming repeatedly shift into fragmentary, driving motifs that run throughout the album. “Terraform The Afterlife” presents Evil Island as a union of experienced musicians, with their debut on Blowed Out translating the band’s rough energy into compact, short-form tracks.

The Red Marble vinyl edition of the “Best Collection” double LP by The Nerves has been released on Third Man. With this edition, Third Man presents the definitive anthology of the band, compiled in close collaboration with Paul Collins, Peter Case, and Cynthia, the daughter of the late Jack Lee, and includes new accompanying material as well as exclusive liner notes by Peter Case.

The release comprises 66 minutes of studio, live, and demo recordings that Third Man assembled from the original source material. For this edition, the tapes were newly remastered by Warren Defever at Third Man Mastering, so many tracks can be heard in revised form. The selection documents both the early singles and material that has long been difficult to access; highlights such as “Hanging on the Telephone” and the refreshed presentation of “When You Find Out” stand as emblematic of the catalog.

Musically, “Best Collection” makes the origins of the band’s work audible: a combination of raw proto‑punk energy and concise, melodic songwriting that established The Nerves as an important reference point for the U.S. power‑pop scene. The Red Marble vinyl edition on Third Man brings these tracks together in a carefully curated form and places particular emphasis on sound and the documentary character of the collection.

The “Deceit” LP by This Heat is released on This Heat Records and brings the ensemble of Charles Bullen, Charles Hayward, and Gareth Williams back in a newly reworked version. For this release, the band revisited the original tapes and had a 24-bit/96 kHz remaster created; the edition is pressed on 180 g vinyl and comes in a heavyweight sleeve with Pantone printing, matched to the original 1981 presentation.

Musically, “Deceit” documents the band’s turn toward more compact song structures and clear, often politically charged lyrics; central themes include media seduction and the threat of nuclear escalation. This reissue preserves the raw, unwieldy arrangements and restless dynamics that have always characterized the album, and brings selected tracks such as “Makeshift Swahili” and “Radio Prague” back to the fore in a fresh-sounding version. For North America, distribution is coordinated by Superior Viaduct, while This Heat Records oversees the release internationally.

The “Truth Or Consequence” LP by Amyl And The Sniffers is being released on Rough Trade and doesn’t document a conventional live recording, but an intimate session that deliberately pushes the band into new territory. Recorded in the familiar setting of El Coyote in Los Angeles, Amyl And The Sniffers perform their well-known songs in stripped-down, country-inspired arrangements and add two previously unreleased tracks plus a cover of Slim Dusty’s classic “Lights On The Hill.” These renditions bring the songwriting to the forefront and show the band away from their usual high-energy rock shows in an unusually relaxed light.

“Truth Or Consequence” captures the atmosphere of a spontaneous session among friends: relaxed, playful moments alternate with clear, song-focused passages in which vocals and arrangements have an immediate impact. The release also includes an accompanying concert film with behind-the-scenes insights that visually complements the creation of the recordings. Rough Trade presents the LP as a stand-alone document of a band that reimagines popular songs and, in doing so, reveals surprising facets of its musical identity.

Compiled from the last three concerts of a six-night residency at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles in 2025, it captures the band in an immediate live setting. On this edition, Brigid Dawson appears as a guest vocalist, lending distinct emphasis to individual passages of the live arrangements. With this pressing, Deathgod Corp presents a deliberately curated snapshot that brings together selected highlights of the residency and preserves the band’s raw energy on Ultra Clear vinyl.

The “Live In Los Angeles” LP stays true to the band’s punk / hardcore approach: compact takes, in-your-face guitar walls, and a live mix that leaves room for spontaneous excursions. The track selection draws a direct line across the three nights, presenting Osees in a minimally edited format that is rendered with clear definition and punch on the Ultra Clear pressing. For collectors and fans of Osees alike, this limited release expands the band’s body of work with a focused live document and showcases the collaboration with Brigid Dawson as a defining moment of the residency.

The “Musik für beide Ohren” LP by Die Kassierer is released on Teenage Rebel and captures the provocative quartet in a particularly diverse phase in 1999. On the album, the band combines its punk attitude with surprising stylistic breaks: jazz elements, polka, funk passages, and even a short audio play create unpredictable twists within the punk / hardcore context.

Lyrically, the record moves between dark humor and outright provocation; songs like “Blumenkohl am Pillemann” became centerpieces of their live setlist, while the more than six‑minute “Der Sackabreißer von Wattenscheid” serves as a narrative finale. In addition to original material, the release includes several cover takes, including a special take on “Du willst mich küssen.”

Frontman Wolfgang Wendland handles most of the vocals, and the ensemble works with shifting arrangements that give “Musik für beide Ohren” its tight yet varied running time of around 50 minutes. The record contains 20 tracks that combine short punk attacks with offbeat interludes. Die Kassierer and Teenage Rebel present with this LP a concise chapter in the band’s history that brings together both provocative lyrics and musical experimentation.

Reviews highlighted the uncompromising irony and dark humor of the lyrics.

The “77 – Early Years – 79” LP by The Fall is being released on Superior Viaduct as the first vinyl reissue of this early compilation. Originally issued by Step-Forward in 1981, the album brings together the band’s first four singles from 1977 to 1979: “Bingo-Master’s Break-Out,” “It’s The New Thing,” “Rowche Rumble,” and “Fiery Jack.” The track list is rounded out by “Dice Man” from the album “Dragnet.”

The recordings capture The Fall during their formative early period around Mark E. Smith, as the group developed a distinctive approach out of Manchester’s punk scene—somewhere between jagged punk, brittle guitars, repetitive bass lines, and creaking organ sounds. Smith’s unmistakable spoken-word delivery meets a changing lineup featuring Martin Bramah, Una Baines, Karl Burns, Marc Riley, Craig Scanlon, and Stephen Hanley.

In particular, “Repetition,” “Psycho Mafia,” and “Rowche Rumble” convey the early tension between raw directness and stubborn individuality. “Fiery Jack” was produced by Mayo Thompson and marks another important step in the development of the band’s sound. The Superior Viaduct edition also includes liner notes by Stephen Malkmus, which add historical context to these early recordings by The Fall. In this way, “77 – Early Years – 79” combines key singles and selected album tracks into a focused portrait of the years in which The Fall shaped their unmistakable style.

Although they emerged from Melbourne bayside outer suburbs onto the local live scene with their fresh and spirited indie-rock update of the garage-beat sounds of The Easybeats, Kinks and early Beatles only a year or so ago, Gnome actually started out as a bedroom solo project for teenaged singer/songwriter/ guitarist Jay Millar a few years back. Jay, playing everything himself, started recording and releasing a steady succession of material - quite a few albums' worth - on his own Goblin Records label via Bandcamp. Realizing he needed a band to start playing out, Jay approached some like minded players from Frankston's rehearsal hub Singing Bird, and with Jay on lead vocals and lead guitar, Ned Capp on guitar, Olly Katsianis on bass, and Ethan Robins on drums, Gnome became a band.
Early in 2025, the last solo Jay recordings released under the Gnome name caused something of an international underground sensation when the Bandcamp only I Like It EP - four songs of kranked up Kinks-style mono riffage - was posted by a Spanish garage-punk YouTube page and quickly clocked up over 50,000 views.

At the same time, the band quickly began gaining attention on the thriving Frankston scene and around Melbourne. They started breaking out, sharing bills with the likes of Drunk Mums, Skegss, Split System, The Prize, The Unknowns, Cosmic Psychos, Hockey Dad, Guitar Wolf, The 5.6.7.8's, The Breadmakers, Loose Lips, fellow Frankstoners/Singing Bird alumni The Belair Lip Bombs, and, on a quick trip to Sydney, Cammy Cautious & The Wrestlers.
And now, finally, we have The Gnomes' debut album. Twelve killer tracks that combine the best of the '60s with the best of today. Twelve killer tracks that show off assertive and accomplished songwriting, singing and playing and an explosive and authentic swinging group sound. Twelve killers slices of raw rock'n'roll running the gamut from the savage Rhythm & Blues of "Play With You" and “Better With You” to the vibrant beat pop of "I'll Be There" and "I'm Not The One", with forays into the heavy reverb psych of "Stung", the Cavern/Star Club stylings of "Flippin' Stomp" and the first flyte jangle of "Time Will Tell" along the way. There’s more of course, including a new version of that Kinks-style kranker “I Like It” for good measure.
Frankston’s Fab Four are taking their sound to the world. Join them for the ride!

The "Not Broken Enough" LP by Catch Your Breath is released on Thriller Records and brings together eleven tracks that can be understood as a consistent continuation of their 2023 debut, "Shame On Me." The record includes previously released singles such as "Blood Money," "Lost," "Dark," and "Control," as well as the collaboration "[Gen]inside" with Kami Kehoe. Compact song structures and concise choruses alternate with more suspended, spacious moments, bringing both aggression and melody clearly to the fore in the arrangements.

Catch Your Breath is a Texas-based band that has been active since 2017; the lineup of vocalist Josh Mowery, guitarist Teddy Herrera, bassist Cianan Madigan, and drummer Onell Hernandez shapes the group’s raw yet carefully crafted sound. Stylistically, the quartet operates in modern metalcore: heavy guitar riffs, driving drums, and an interplay of furious verses and catchy, almost anthemic choruses define the songs. Touring experience and festival appearances have further sharpened their compositional density.

A key aspect of "Not Broken Enough" is the weight of its subject matter: lyrics about loss, self-reflection, and relationship dynamics meet a production that puts the vocals front and center without sacrificing rhythmic punch. Tracks like "Control" highlight the thematic openness of the record and show how Catch Your Breath fuse raw emotion with sophisticated arrangements. Overall, the LP marks a mature step in the band’s evolution and consolidates the group’s distinctive sonic signature.

The "Here's That Feeling" LP by Wrong Man is released on Deathwish Inc. and marks the band's debut album; the nine-track record condenses the evolution previously hinted at on two earlier EPs into a more compact, tightly focused format. The songs strike a balance between immediate energy and melodic clarity, positioning the album as the next step in Wrong Man's artistic development.

Musically, the record is rooted in a broad spectrum: echoes of 1970s proto-punk collide with the restlessness of the 1990s indie scene and the jagged aesthetic of the Dischord post-hardcore school. Guitar work and dynamic arrangements create shifting arcs of tension that range from dark introspection to open, hook-laden choruses, bringing the songs' emotional intensity sharply into focus.

Recording and production play a decisive role in shaping the album's sound: the sessions took place in Kortrijk with Michael Neyt, while Kurt Ballou mixed the record at God City Studio. The collaboration also includes a guest appearance by Jeremy Bolm, who can be heard on the track "Exit Strategy." This team behind the boards delivers a blend of raw immediacy and production-level precision that gives the songs definition and impact.

The Schizophonics have exploded out of San Diego, California, with the kind of raw, turbo-charged rock ’n’ roll that feels increasingly rare in the modern music scene. Led by frontman Pat Beers, the power trio has built a reputation for electrifying live shows that collide the fuzzed-out fury of proto-punk pioneers like The Stooges and MC5 with the sweat, swagger, and showmanship of James Brown and Little Richard. The result is a gritty, psychedelic blend of garage punk, classic rock, soul, and heavy groove.

At the heart of the band are Lety Beers’ distinctive, R&B-infused drumming and Sarah Linton’s Sabbath-inspired bass lines, providing the foundation for Pat’s wild dancing, incendiary guitar work, and gravity-defying one-handed playing. Together, they create a relentless sonic attack driven by pounding rhythms, fuzzed-out riffs, and the kind of feral energy that can only come from years spent on the road. The Schizophonics have put in the miles, and it shows in every sweat-soaked note.

That intensity comes through loud and clear on their fourth album, Burning Floor, due out Fall 2026 via longtime fan and supporter Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles Records. Recorded in San Diego at The Golden Ghost and K Studios, with mixing and mastering completed at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, the album captures the band at their most spontaneous and unrestrained, equal parts rock ’n’ roll sweat, soul, stomp, and psychedelic abandon.

“We recorded this the day after we flew home from a month-long European tour,” says Pat Beers. “We’d been playing these songs on the road, so to come home and go directly into the studio, loopy and jet lagged, I think it captured the live energy as best we could.”

Drawing on classic Motown, ’60s garage rock, ’70s punk, and early heavy metal, Burning Floor distills the explosive immediacy of The Schizophonics’ infamous live shows into a collection of songs that never sit still.

“This album has been a whirlwind,” says Lety Beers. “It wraps up everything we’ve surrendered ourselves to over the past few years. It’s a purge of all the experiences and adventures in rock form.”

The album also marks a new chapter in the band’s long-running friendship with Jello Biafra. “We met Jello years ago when we were playing a show in a hot and sweaty hotel suite at a music festival,” Lety recalls. “Mike Stax made him come see us, telling him, ‘I think you’ll really like this band,’ and lo and behold, a beautiful friendship was born. We’re super honored to give this album a home with him and his killer team, who’ve been super helpful in making this baby a reality.”

With Burning Floor, The Schizophonics are doing what they’ve always done best, pushing rock ’n’ roll to the edge and bringing a little danger back to the stage.

The “Life Sucks Then You Die” LP by Fakoma is released on High Noon and captures the second full-length album by the Cologne hardcore garage punk outfit. Ten short, direct tracks in roughly 20 minutes distill political frustration and the grinding-down of everyday life into raw, rabid noise; sharply distorted guitar melodies cut through noisy synths, joined by aggressive vocals that directly address anti-totalitarian themes like oppression and the loss of freedom. Fakoma keeps the tempo and intensity high and skips any unnecessary breathers.

Musically, “Life Sucks Then You Die” moves stylistically between uncompromising hardcore attitude and garage punk immediacy, with references to bands such as American Nightmare, Some Girls, and Antitainment. Individual tracks set deliberate accents: “Never Out For Good” and “Pain” combine raw aggression with a playful egg punk energy, “Likes” reveals a darker, more haunting side, while the title track and closer “Warning!” drive the record back into unfiltered violence. The production keeps the songs tight and concise, so that High Noon delivers a compact statement with this release, confirming Fakoma as a powerful voice in the current punk and hardcore scene.

SODS were formed in Copenhagen in 1977 and are considered the first Danish punk band. In autumn 1978 they recorded their first album, Minutes to Go, which became an important part of punk's primal and foundational wave. With the release of their second album, Under en Sort Sol, in 1980, their music became a bit more somber and avantgarde. This release documents the progression of SODS from their initial raw punk era of 1977-1979 to the first signs of their eventual transformation into Sort Sol, one of Denmark's best-known bands. It features rough and spirited live performances of tracks mostly released on their two albums Minutes to Go and Under en Sort Sol, plus one piece from Daggers and Guitars (which was only published three years later in 1983 as the first Sort Sol album), as well as the fantastic ''Breathtaking Effect'' which weirdly never made it onto a release. Sides A, B and C collect tracks from three Danish live shows from 1979 and 1980 in chronological order. Side D then returns to the very beginnings with an ultra-raw recording of a high-energy rehearsal from around the spring of 1978.

The “Armutszeugnisse” LP by Die Lokalmatadore is released on Teenage Rebel and brings together the band’s rarely compiled tracks. The record contains 19 tracks and runs for about 42 minutes, presenting the band’s work in a condensed form.

Musically, “Armutszeugnisse” sits in the punk / hardcore realm; the selection showcases the raw, direct side of Die Lokalmatadore and focuses on short, concise songs that serve as a complement to their regular album releases. As a release on Teenage Rebel, the LP pulls together historical rarities and expands the label’s archive with a collection that makes both collector’s items and previously hard-to-find contributions accessible. The compilation offers insights into different phases of the band and underscores the role of Die Lokalmatadore within the regional punk network.

The "Total Castration" LP by Zeni Geva is being released by SKiN GRAFT and marks the first official vinyl release of the 1991 album. The release documents the band’s first collaboration with Steve Albini; the recordings took place from September 8 to 10, 1991 at Basemen Studios in Chicago, produced by Zeni Geva and Steve Albini, with Albini also serving as recording engineer. For this new edition, the material was reworked and remastered in 2026 by K.K. Null in Tokyo.

The release comprises various editions, including a 24Hz GOLD color vinyl version, a CD in a digipack, and an ultimate edition bundle; the Ult-Ed and the CD include four additional live tracks recorded in 1992 at a show at 20000 Volts in Tokyo. The album credits list NULL (vocals, guitar), TABATA (guitar), and EITO (drums, metals); the artwork is by Stephen Holman, with sleeve design by Mark Fischer. The Yellow Vinyl Edition of the NOFX LP “Wolves In Wolves Clothing” is released by Fat Wreck Chords and brings back the band’s tenth studio album, originally issued in 2006, as a colored reissue. The record gathers the compact, pointed songs from the album and, with tracks like “Seeing Double At The Triple Rock,” “Leaving Jesusland,” and “Doornails,” offers a cross-section of the thematic range of NOFX.

Musically, the release moves within the band’s established tension between fast punk rock and a melodic hardcore style: driving guitars, punchy drum work, and multi-part vocal lines combine with sarcastic, at times thoughtful lyrics. Some tracks also display quieter, more introspective traits, giving the album room for both direct political provocation and more personal moments.

For the recordings, NOFX worked with producers Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore as well as band founder Fat Mike; according to the credits, the sessions took place in and around Motor Studios in San Francisco. The production relies on clear, powerful arrangements that bring out the signature NOFX sound — rapid playing, melodic hooks, and biting, ironic lyrics — in a clean and focused way.

The black “Becks Pistols” LP by Pöbel & Gesocks is being released on Sunny Bastards as a “Black Vinyl Edition” and comes pressed on 180 g vinyl.

The album title completes a circle: The group originally formed under the name Beck’s Pistols in the late 1970s, singer Willi Wucher left a lasting mark on the band’s identity, and the song “Pöbel & Gesocks” became the band’s new name following legal disputes with a brewery. This reissue documents the band’s history and makes the studio album originally released in 2010 available again.

Musically, “Becks Pistols” brings together the drinking- and party-oriented punk songs characteristic of Pöbel & Gesocks, which are highly recognizable within their scene. After being unavailable for more than ten years, the album is now being reissued on black vinyl, giving fans the opportunity to experience a distinctive chapter of German Oi and punk tradition once again in physical form. The release is part of Sunny Bastards’ revitalized reissue program and brings the 2010 album back in a rematerialized, collector-friendly edition.

The brown vinyl edition of the “Shit the Bed” LP by Spike And The Gimme Gimmes was released on Fat Wreck Chords and presents the album in a vinyl-focused format with a 12" jacket and double-sided insert. The release brings together well-known pop and mainstream song titles in compact versions that, in the context of the record, stand out as striking renditions. With this edition, Spike And The Gimme Gimmes fold songs like “It’s Raining Men,” “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” and “We Are the World” back into the LP’s repertoire, setting the melodies in punchy arrangements that leverage the band’s direct grip on catchy hooks and choral sections.

On the brown vinyl edition of the “Shit the Bed” LP, the production remains unadorned and focused on the essentials: short running times, clear guitar lines, and a vocal approach that preserves the original melodic lines while presenting them within a punk-oriented rhythmic framework. In doing so, Spike And The Gimme Gimmes continue the band’s tradition of exploring familiar material in surprisingly concise form, while Fat Wreck Chords offers the edition as part of its catalog. This LP places the emphasis on the choice of songs and the way they are executed, which comes across clearly on the release.

The "Originalton West" LP by Narkose is coming out on Bretford and documents the next chapter for the band from Germany’s Ruhr region. The release comprises eleven tracks, including the title-related perspective "Ruhrgebiet" as well as "Über diesem Land", and comes with an insert featuring the song lyrics. All songs were written by Narkose; mixing and production were handled by Peter Rubel, mastering is by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory, and artwork and layout were contributed by Wortmann. The record is listed as a pre-order and is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026.

Musically, "Originalton West" builds on the band’s already established toughness and directness: Narkose combines elements of punk, hardcore, and post-punk into short, concise tracks that pair combative vocals with jagged guitar arrangements. The lyrics sketch dense, regionally rooted imagery and address social tensions as well as everyday frustration, a focus that was already emerging on previous Bretford releases. Peter Rubel’s production favors immediacy over refinement, keeping the band’s energy at the center and letting the songs make the most of their tight, insistent running times. In doing so, "Originalton West" solidifies Narkose's position within the current punk and hardcore scene and expands Bretford's catalog with a clear statement.

The colored vinyl edition of the “OST 40 Years Of Fuckin' Up: Green-Yellow Vinyl Edition” LP by NOFX was released on Fat Wreck Chords and brings together both the accompanying film score and the soundtrack to the documentary of the same name. The release combines more recent, previously unreleased tracks with rare material and the film music composed specifically for the movie, so the vinyl functions both as a documentary artifact and as a musical chronicle of the band.

For decades, NOFX have stood for fast, melodic punk with a sharp, ironic perspective and accessible hooks; their style is defined by catchy guitar lines, up-tempo drumming, and the distinctive vocals of Fat Mike, which often combine socially critical and personal themes. This stylistic blend runs through the selection of songs on the soundtrack and underscores the band’s role as an influential force in the independent punk scene.

Highlights of the release include an extensive catalog of songs with newly produced tracks, rare demos, and live recordings, as well as a separate original score by Fat Mike, realized in arrangements with orchestral accompaniment. The package is rounded out by selected audio snippets from the film and illustrated artwork by Tokyo Hiro that visually accentuates the retrospective character of the edition.

Alternative Tentacles is proud to present the first-ever complete, three-volume collection of Texas punk legends Really Red. None of their catalog has been available for years—some not for decades! Really Red was the backbone of Houston’s underground from the early punk era clear through ’80s hardcore. Like The Dicks in Austin, they directly challenged an insanely violent police department at no small risk to their own lives. Their sound itself incorporated art and post-punk elements, with a musical and lyrical depth on par with bands like Mission of Burma, Wire, or Dead Kennedys. Singer Ronnie Bond (a.k.a. U-Ron Bondage) was never afraid to push intelligence or mess with Texas. Kelly Younger’s guitar style is as unique in its own way as that of The Gang of Four’s Andy Gill, while Bob Weber’s taut, precise and sometimes unorthodox drum patterns would not be heard again until the likes of John Wright of NoMeansNo. It’s all driven forward by the driving, elastic basslines of John Paul Williams. This collection presents the sound better then it has ever been, so hear them again for the first time—or the first time ever. Volume 1: Teaching You the Fear is the much-loved first album that’s been unavailable since Empty Records reissued it ten years ago. More manic and locked-in then the early singles, this is Really Red in their prime, fired up and focused to lay down what they likely thought was their one shot to get it all on vinyl. The title track even calls out specific murders by the Houston cops that they wouldn’t even admit were crimes! The release comes with part one of David Ensminger’s (Left of the Dial) extensive interview with Bond. A true classic of its time—or any time—Teaching You the Fear has been restored from the original tapes and re-mastered by Jello Biafra to sound better then ever!

The “I Built This Prison Myself” LP by Chastity is being released on Deathwish and is built around a distinctly narrative concept rooted in a true event from Whitby: the fire that destroyed a large barn on the grounds of the local psychiatric hospital in 1976. The album grapples with questions of responsibility, the failure of those close to you, and the attempt to escape self-constructed constraints, continuing the development the band began on previous releases.

Musically, the record moves within the punk / hardcore spectrum, combining short, concise song structures with a narrative density carried by sharply drawn vocal lines; advance tracks included, among others, “Misled Youth” and “Blink and See God.” Producer and driving force behind the project is Brandon Williams; the technical finishing touches were handled by John Paul Peters, who oversaw recording, mixing, and mastering. Songwriting credits go to Brandon Williams, Scott Downes, and Stefan Babcock, while the lineup, in addition to Williams, includes Scott Downes, Levi Kertesz, and Devon Savas. The “I Built This Prison Myself” LP stands as a deliberately conceived work within the Deathwish catalog, bringing together narrative ambition and the visceral energy of punk.

Fake Names set catchy, direct song structures alongside high‑velocity hardcore energy; the tracks combine tight arrangements with driving guitars and open, expressive vocals.

On this release, the band puts the contrast between melodic accessibility and raw intensity front and center, anchoring the “Punk Ruins” LP in both punk‑style directness and hardcore‑style speed. The Coke Bottle vinyl edition emphasizes the tactile character of the release, while Epitaph Europe oversees it on behalf of the label. For collectors and listeners who value a clearly designated special edition, the “Punk Ruins” LP by Fake Names offers a distinct presentation of the band’s work within this stylistic tension.

The Coke Bottle Clear Vinyl edition of the *Nuisance* LP by Babe Haven presents the album in a tangible format that emphasizes the unfiltered, immediate character of the songs. Pressed on Coke Bottle Clear Vinyl, it highlights the record’s visual presence and brings Babe Haven’s energetic aesthetic to your shelf; released as an LP, it captures the band in a compact, to-the-point form.

Musically, *Nuisance* condenses the nervous agility of punk and hardcore with touches of early‑2000s nu‑metal and riot‑grrrl impulses: short, driving arrangements, jagged guitars, and a vocal attitude that feels intensely in-the-room. The album comprises ten tracks with a total running time of about 23 minutes and includes “Die (and Rot)” and “Blind Yourself,” songs that have already stood out as singles and anchors of the live set. The clear, uncompromising production pushes vocals and rhythm to the forefront, while the lyrics repeatedly express a defiant stance. For listeners who appreciate the link between aggressive concision and melodic verve, the *Nuisance* LP offers a concentrated statement from Babe Haven.

The “Case Studies” LP by Why Bother? is released on Feel It and presents the Mason City project in a dark, sharply contoured punk universe that deliberately operates outside common structures.

Musically, the record connects lo-fi garage punk with an undercurrent of pop melody; drawn-out, slightly drawling vocals meet hazy synth layers and sustained walls of guitar, resulting in a distinctive sonic identity. The lyrics move between reflection and unsettling imagery, which lends the work a contemplative gravity and shapes the songs beyond mere genre bounds.

As a design leitmotif, the vanitas theme of the cover foregrounds transience and time, underscoring the lyrical focus. The LP includes an insert with additional information and gathers the twelve tracks listed on digital services, including pieces like “In Between the Distance” and “Indoctrination,” which exemplify the balance between catchiness and an uncanny density.

“Raveland” by Frittenbude has been released as an LP on the Nachti label and continues the band’s signature blend of raw electronics and narrative spoken-word vocals. The album relies on punchy rhythms and clear melodies that allow for both danceable moments and punk-leaning directness, without lapsing into showy effect-seeking.

Musically, the record moves within a field of tension between electropunk, techno-inflected beats, and pop-oriented choruses; the arrangements make use of driving sequences, synthetic textures, and the occasional guitar-based accent, resulting in a distinctive, recognizable sonic space. Characteristic of Frittenbude is the balance between ironic distance and personal directness in the lyrics, which combine scene-like, narrative imagery with critical undertones.

In the context of the band’s history, “Raveland” ties in with Frittenbude’s long-standing practice of remixes and collaborations — the group has been active since the mid-2000s and has repeatedly provided remixes and guest contributions, including the well-known “Raveland” remix of a Kettcar track. Releasing the album on their own Nachti label situates the record in the band’s more recent phase, in which self-releases and independent production have gained importance.

Slapshot’s “16 Valve Hate” LP was released on Taang and marks a sturdy chapter for the band in the mid-1990s; the release brings the band’s raw energy to vinyl and brings together essential material from this period.

Musically, “16 Valve Hate” focuses on short, hard-hitting songs with Jack Kelly’s rough vocal delivery, shifting between aggressive hardcore and melodic moments. The title track, “16 Valve Hate,” serves as a concise centerpiece, while songs such as “I Want You Dead” underscore the album’s direct, compact approach. The unusual rendition of The Smiths’ “Bigmouth Strikes Again” stands out, transforming the original into an uncompromising hardcore arrangement and broadening the record’s range.

The recordings were made during a period when Slapshot’s lineup had stabilized; the return of drummer Mark McKay and the studio work in the Boston area shaped the sound of the record. As an LP released on Taang, “16 Valve Hate” is therefore a documented chapter in the band’s history, standing out both for its concise songwriting ideas and its direct production.

The Grape colored vinyl edition of the “Dead FM” LP by Strike Anywhere was released on Fat Wreck Chords. “Dead FM” came out on September 5, 2006 and marks the band’s debut on the label; this edition includes 14 songs with a running time of around 31 minutes. Producer and engineer Brian McTernan was responsible for recording and mixing, while mastering was handled by George Marino. Tracks such as “Sedition,” “Prisoner Echoes,” and “House Arrest” stand out from the album and are highlighted on the track list as key reference points.

Strike Anywhere’s lineup features vocalist Thomas Barnett, guitarists Matt Sherwood and Matt Smith, bassist Garth Petrie, and drummer Eric Kane, and they combine melodic structures with direct, uncompromising hardcore energy. The lyrics address political and biographical themes; additional album notes provide commentary on the origins of individual songs. McTernan’s production emphasizes the interlocking guitars and the transparency of the mix, bringing the melodic lines clearly to the fore alongside the driving rhythms. The “Grape” edition on Fat Wreck Chords presents the material on colored vinyl, showcasing the recording with a focused sound.

The purple vinyl edition of the “Revolutions Per Minute” LP by Rise Against is released on Fat Wreck Chords and revisits the band’s early, uncompromising chapter as a colored pressing. This edition brings together the album’s compact, direct songs and puts the interplay of speed, melody, and political stance front and center.

Musically, Rise Against position themselves here at the intersection of classic punk rock and melodic hardcore; the arrangements combine tight, concise guitar riffs with driving drums and distinctive, often socially critical lyrics by Tim McIlrath. The recordings were made at the Blasting Room with Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore as producers, capturing the band’s rough-edged energy in a clean and powerful way. The lineup of Tim McIlrath, Joe Principe, Todd Mohney, and Brandon Barnes shapes the record’s characteristic sound.

Songs like “Black Masks & Gasoline,” “Like The Angel,” and “Amber Changing” showcase the album’s breadth: from bursts of fast hardcore to more melodic, emphatic moments defined by multi-layered choruses and well-placed tempo changes. The production emphasizes clarity in the mix, lets the guitar attack hit hard, and still preserves space for the vocal urgency that makes the album an important point of reference in the early work of Rise Against.

Music journalists love to celebrate hardcore that they perceive as clever, boundary-pushing, or innovative, but for all the lip service paid to novelty, hardcore’s efficacy can actually be gauged by one incredibly simple metric: Its ability to incite a room full of maladjusted goons to extreme violence. Measured with that barometer, Milwaukee’s World I Hate is ten times the hardcore band any flavor of the week act could ever hope to be. Initially formed at the end of 2018, World I Hate released their debut EP, Collapse, in 2020 and played their first show in 2021. The band performs a brand of hyper-competent, no-frills

hardcore that combines the best parts of the genre’s last 25 or so years into a potent and hard- hitting formula that’s nearly impossible to dislike. The fact that their lineup is bolstered by a

member of Texas stalwarts Judiciary doesn’t hurt matters. On their new LP, Years Of Lead (releasing on WAR Records), the band delivers on the promise of

Collapse and further hones their already razor-sharp edge. Unafraid to blend blazing fast, near- powerviolence tempos with battering-ram, New York hardcore stomps, Years Of Lead expands

upon the template put forth 20 years ago by Massachusetts legends Think I Care and rises to the standard set by likeminded contemporaries such as Spine or ODD MAN OUT. The record’s 19-minute runtime is replete with breakneck speed and room-clearing breakdowns, bolstered by production that is crushing and crisp without a hint of sterility.

The Clear Vinyl Edition of the “Death To Tyrants” LP by Sick Of It All has been released on Back On Black. Originally released in 2006 as the band’s eighth studio album, it features concise tracks like “Take The Night Off,” “Machete,” and “Uprising Nation,” and showcases the balance characteristic of Sick Of It All between precise aggression and catchy, short song structures. In just over 30 minutes, the record condenses fast arrangements, driving guitars, and distinctive vocals into a compact statement within the punk / hardcore spectrum.

This edition appeals to listeners who want to own the album in a clear vinyl pressing: the term “Clear Vinyl Edition” is taken from the product title and identifies the clear vinyl format as a distinct product feature. Musically, “Death To Tyrants” documents a concentrated, powerful expression that critics have described, in terms of its heaviness and directness, as one of the band’s more intense phases. The Back On Black version brings this material back to the market and focuses on the raw energy of the tracks, without making any additional changes to the original work.

The “Marimbazos De Oro” LP by Son Rompe Pera is being released on Mixto and marks the band’s third album as well as their debut on the label. The record was produced by Adrian Quesada, a Grammy‑nominated guitarist and psychedelic bolerista who greatly expands the sonic space and pushes the Gama brothers’ marimba‑centered playing into new directions.

Musically, “Marimbazos De Oro” unfurls a spectrum that connects traditional marimba arrangements with punk, surf, and dance rhythms. Opener “Arboledas” draws on northern Mexican motifs and features Zac Sokolow (LA LOM) as a guest, while “Sombra” explodes in a pop‑punk/Oi! framework with Spike (Me First and the Gimme Gimmes) contributing background vocals. With “José Dolores,” the band ventures into a pronounced salsa direction, powered by the horn section of Colombian outfit La Pambelé.

On the bolero “Me Olvidaste,” Trish Toledo adds to the vocal palette, and on the single “Reptilio,” Quesada himself can be heard on guitar. Overall, the album, according to the band, tells the full story of their musical influences: at times raw and direct, at others smooth and danceable, always with the marimba as the leading voice and a surprising knack for arrangements. The “Marimbazos De Oro” LP thus documents a new chapter in the evolution of Son Rompe Pera.

The “Silver Turns To Rust” LP by The Ataris is being released on Kung Fu and, for the first time in an official format, brings together a set of new tracks, newly recorded early compositions, and additional bonus recordings. The album includes, among others, “All Soul’s Day” and “The Graveyard Of The Atlantic,” as well as an often-cited cover of “The Boys of Summer” in a rough demo version, which, together with further bonus tracks, rounds out this edition.

The material was recorded and mixed by Bob Hoag at Flying Blanket Recording; the sessions were done in analog, including through a 1978 Neve 8078 console and with vintage amplifiers and microphones, giving the songs a direct, unvarnished texture. Tracks 1–4 feature new material, while several pieces from the core repertoire of the band’s history are documented in this form for the first time; two acoustic demos complement the recordings and offer insight into the band’s songwriting process.

For fans of punk and hardcore, the “Silver Turns To Rust” LP offers a documentary-style look at the band’s songwriting phase, combining studio-fresh takes with unpolished demos. The release on Kung Fu thus serves both as an addition to The Ataris’ discography and as a focused collection of previously unreleased and newly reworked tracks.

The “Melodien Für Milliarden” LP by Terrorgruppe is released on Destiny as a gold vinyl edition, presenting the album in a visually distinctive vinyl format. The combination of title, band, and label is emphasized repeatedly: Terrorgruppe and Destiny join forces for this LP release, with the gold vinyl pressing highlighting the physical appearance of the record.

Musically, “Melodien Für Milliarden” moves in a punk / hardcore context; the tracks rely on compact song structures, striking guitar riffs, and direct, upfront vocals. Melodic fragments function as a counterpoint to the raw energy, giving the compositions a clear, concise profile. The arrangements make use of tempo changes and straightforward phrasing, lending the record its own specific momentum.

With this edition, Destiny presents the “Melodien Für Milliarden” LP in a bold version that emphasizes both the artwork and the physical presentation. Terrorgruppe remains firmly rooted in the core of their musical approach with this release, while the gold vinyl pressing offers a standout variant of the well-known record.

The track sequence on the LP is arranged so that individual songs are accentuated through well-placed pauses and targeted arrangements. The gold vinyl pressing directs attention to the material side of the album and makes the “Melodien Für Milliarden” LP a striking release in the Destiny catalog.

Musically, the record delivers raw, sleaze-oriented punk with an immediate, rock ’n’ roll–honed attitude and a distinctive guitar tone; the title track, already featured on KBD compilations, remains the standout moment. Individual cuts are marked by catchy hooks, such as “Epileptic Fit” or the driving “Slow Down,” while cover and length experiments like “Judy in Disguise” and the extended takes are sure to split opinions. The *The Bite That Grows Up* LP by Great Falls is being released on Neurot Recordings and once again pushes the Seattle trio to both live and studio extremes. Recorded at Studio Litho with Scott Evans as engineer and producer, mixed at Antisleep, and mastered by Brad Boatright, the album documents just under forty minutes of hard-hitting, unflinchingly direct songs. With Demian Johnston on guitar and vocals, Shane Mehling on bass, and Nickolis Parks on drums, the band relies on an interplay that feels both brutal and surgically precise.

Johnston’s concise, striking lyrics work with fragments and confessions and find their expression in songs like “Nicotine In The Spine” and “Worse Than Sleep,” with the lead single featuring additional vocals by Peter Clement Lund, who passed away shortly after the recording sessions. Instrumentally, dissonant guitar tunings, lightning-fast, complex drum patterns, and a destructive bass tone define the sound; John Schork’s subtly deployed noise elements lend tracks like “Hailstone Numbers” a surprising dynamic arc in which percussion and drone build toward an emotional climax. Between Roadburn 2025, Northwest Terror Fest 2026, and tours with Botch and Primitive Man, the band has further sharpened its live presence.

This edition features new artwork with a black spine, silver-foil lettering, and an inverted back cover, clearly setting the release apart visually from earlier runs. The design gives the "Club Hits" LP a distinct presence within ANTI FADE’s release program.

The material for "Club Hits" was written, recorded, and mixed by Buz; the sessions took place between January 2022 and April 2023 in Burrill Lake and Sydney. Final touches were provided by Mikey Young in the mastering stage, giving the raw recordings a distinctive balance of highs and low end without smoothing out the direct force of the tracks. These production choices underscore the immediacy of the songs on the record.

Musically, the release showcases the uncompromising energy of punk and hardcore and captures R.M.F.C.’s classic debut in a concentrated form. ANTI FADE is deliberately issuing the "Club Hits" LP as a very limited, non-returnable pressing; the "Nightclub Hits Edition" is aimed at listeners who value the special packaging and the documented recording period of the album.

The Yellow w/ Black Splatter vinyl edition of the “A Life Less Plagued” LP by Carry On was released on Bridge Nine. Bridge Nine first issued the album on October 16, 2001; it was the label’s first full-length LP and had a lasting impact on the California hardcore scene. The LP includes twelve tracks, among them “The View,” “Waiting On Forever,” and the title track “A Life Less Plagued,” condensing its dense arrangements into just under 18 minutes. This pressing preserves the raw energy, fast tempos, and distinctive guitar riffs that define the album.

The release was originally planned with a gatefold sleeve designed by Jacob Bannon; for cost reasons, however, the first pressing came in a standard sleeve, while a 2011 repress reintroduced the gatefold. A very limited initial run featured hand-illustrated shrink-wraps by illustrator Linas Garsys. Several band members later went on to form bands such as Terror, Piece By Piece, Betrayed, and Internal Affairs, giving the album a direct link to later West Coast projects. This colored vinyl edition underscores the historical character of the album without making any changes to the music. As a compact, focused statement from the early 2000s, “A Life Less Plagued” documents both the band itself and the fertile ground from which later hardcore projects emerged.

The “Söhne Mülheims” LP by Die Lokalmatadore is released on Teenage Rebel and continues the direct, no-nonsense approach of the Mülheim outfit. This 2010 release delivers compact, tightly written punk material that structurally aims for catchiness and speed without diluting the band’s rough edge. The LP features just about sixteen tracks with a running time of around 31 minutes, whose brevity and punch are characteristic of the band.

Musically, “Söhne Mülheims” offers a mix of original numbers and striking cover ideas, including interpretations of the Buzzcocks and Peter and the Test Tube Babies, as well as the instrumental track “Surfin’ Tolstoi,” which provides some style-wise variety. The lyrics are marked by direct, at times coarse language and draw on everyday themes and local references, which preserves the record’s characteristic local patriotism. The material is recorded and performed by the lineup centered around Fisch, Bubba, Blüm, and Rommel, who deliver their familiar, unfiltered presence and in doing so give the release a distinctive identity. For fans of well-honed punk attitude, the “Söhne Mülheims” LP on Teenage Rebel stands as a cohesive chapter in Die Lokalmatadore’s discography.

By adding this release to its catalog, Teenage Rebel documents a period in the band’s history in which unrefined energy and ironic lyrics are tightly interwoven.

Musically, the album moves between stripped-down punk guitars, occasional flashes of ska and garage rock, as well as influences that could be described as Schlager punk, giving the material a quirky charm. Lyrically, Die Lokalmatadore openly take up themes such as soccer, alcohol, and macho role models, without sacrificing melody and hooks. The arrangements stay focused on the essentials, and the production keeps the sound tight and immediate. The “Männer Rock'n'roll” LP on Teenage Rebel thus offers a cohesive, pointed statement from the Mülheim scene band.

The "Health And Efficiency" LP by This Heat is released on This Heat. The release, pared down to two extended pieces, concentrates the trio’s energy on the title-opening track, which works with jagged, rhythmically displaced guitar patterns, driving drum figures, and a collage of voice, percussion, and found sounds. Its taut sense of drama makes the piece a focused example of how post‑punk aggression can be linked with avant‑garde sonic exploration.

This Heat were formed by Charles Bullen, Charles Hayward, and Gareth Williams; their approach connects instrumental versatility with tape manipulations and live improvisation. On the compositional side, the band relies on ruptures, unexpected textures, and an experimental method that fuses song-based structures with musique concrète elements. This way of working shaped both the group’s sense of identity and their lasting impact on subsequent scenes.

The flip‑side recording "Graphic/Varispeed" offers a quieter, hypnotic counterpoint and plays with variations in pitch and speed, depending on whether it is played at 45 or 33 rpm. Critics such as Simon Reynolds even regard "Health And Efficiency" as a "peak achievement" by This Heat, a concentrated synthesis of raw intensity and playful experimental exuberance that clearly brings out the special character of this ensemble.

The colored vinyl edition of the “We Are The Only Friends We Have” LP by Piebald has been released on Iodine. This reissue brings the early‑2000s album back to a physical format for the first time and is offered by the label as a remastered edition with additional bonus material.

Musically, on this record Piebald link their rougher indie rock roots with the emotional directness of the emo underground; distinctive guitar melodies alternate with unpretentious, catchy choruses and pointed lyrics. The arrangements remain deliberately accessible, while dynamic shifts and punchy rhythms inject energy, giving the songs an immediate impact. This stylistic blend turned the record into a benchmark within the scene.

The colored vinyl edition emphasizes the documentary character of the reissue: in addition to the standard LP format, Iodine also lists an expanded deluxe version that gathers extra B‑sides, demos, and acoustic versions and places the material in historical context. The release ties back to Piebald’s role in the Boston scene and presents the album as a finely assembled collection for both longtime followers and newcomers.

The “Fall In A Hole” double LP by The Fall is being released on Superior Viaduct and captures a particularly distinctive live moment from the British post-punk band. The concert was recorded in August 1982 at the Mainstreet Cabaret in Auckland, during the final night of their Australian and New Zealand tour. At the time, the band was in an incredibly dynamic phase between “Hex Enduction Hour” and “Room To Live.”

Chris Knox recorded the performance and also created the characteristic artwork. The lineup features Mark E. Smith, Marc Riley, Craig Scanlon, Stephen Hanley, and drummers Paul Hanley and Karl Burns. The twin-drum setup in particular gives the songs an angular, driving force. Alongside well-known numbers such as “Hip Priest,” “Prole Art Threat,” and “The Classical,” “Fall In A Hole” also includes extended live versions of “Fantastic Life,” “Backdrop,” and “Solicitor In Studio.”

The recording captures The Fall during an especially unpredictable period as a live band: raw, tension-filled, and marked by long, feedback-heavy passages. Superior Viaduct is presenting the album on vinyl again for the first time, with liner notes by Roy Montgomery and digital transfers from analog master tapes held in the Flying Nun and Chris Knox collections.

The Transculent Green Vinyl edition of Carry On’s *A Life Less Plagued* LP was released on Bridge Nine and presents the 12-track debut, originally released on October 16, 2001. The release documents just under 18 minutes of focused hardcore songs and includes the title track “A Life Less Plagued” as well as the memorable “Off My Chest,” both of which exemplify the album’s concise, direct song structures.

The record was recorded at GodCity Studios with Kurt Ballou at the controls. Jacob Bannon provided the originally planned gatefold artwork, which was reduced to a standard sleeve for the initial release due to production-related reasons. Bridge Nine also points to a highly limited hand-illustrated variant, with Linas Garsys personally decorating individual copies. This Transculent Green Vinyl edition adds a striking variant to the label’s catalog and highlights both Carry On’s musical directness and its close collaboration with artists and figures from the hardcore scene.

The “...Anywhere But Here” LP by The Ataris was released on Kung Fu and is based on the 2002 remixed and remastered reissue of the 1997 debut album. Produced by Warren Fitzgerald, the recording was completed in a very short period of time; the band documented the material during studio sessions that spanned just a few days. Kris Roe handled most of the instrumental parts in addition to the vocals, giving the songs an immediate, personal character. Compared with the original release, this edition was expanded to include the bonus track “Anderson” as well as a hidden acoustic cover of Weezer’s “Butterfly.”

As a Punk/Hardcore release, the “...Anywhere But Here” LP features compact, melodically striking songs in which unfiltered energy and catchy hooks are closely intertwined. With this edition, Kung Fu brings early Ataris tracks to LP in a revised sonic form, with Fitzgerald’s production exploring the balance between angular guitar work and clear vocal presence. Overall, the record documents an early phase of the band dominated by skillful songwriting and narrative lyrics, offering a direct insight into The Ataris’ development into a distinctive voice within the punk scene.

The remastered version aims to make the distinctive arrangements and the band’s original character stand out more clearly, without changing the running order of the tracks. This format puts the focus on the album’s physical presentation and brings together the band’s distinctive rhythmic lines and aggression in a clear vinyl pressing without blurring the songs’ gritty edge.

“Based On A True Story” documents the compact, direct approach of the New York punk / hardcore outfit and includes concise highlights such as “Dominated” and “Long As She’s Standing.” The recordings were made with producer Tue Madsen at Starstruck Studios in Copenhagen; the collaboration results in a dense, metallic, sharply defined sound aesthetic that emphasizes the tightly packed vocals and driving guitar parts. Back On Black presents the LP as a clear pressing that lets you experience the album in its original track sequence and renders the production in nuanced detail. The “New Palestine False Flags” 7" by Derik & The Disasters is released on Damaged Goods. On the compact 7" format, the release focuses on the gritty, direct traits of punk/hardcore and relies on tightly compressed arrangements with strong impact. Fast, concise songs and a raw, immediate delivery create a dense, dynamic listen that conveys characteristically vibrant energy.

As a 7" on Damaged Goods, the record offers a compact snapshot of the band and their approach, with the pressing presenting the material in condensed form. Derik & The Disasters use the format to document their own take on punk/hardcore; title, artist, and label are clearly at the forefront. The single expands the range of 7" releases with a compact, direct presentation.

The instrumental focus remains deliberately stripped down: bass-driven lines, fast drums, and distorted guitars create a focused, immediate sound that leaves room for aggressive vocals. With “New Palestine False Flags,” Damaged Goods issues a clear snapshot of Derik & The Disasters that emphasizes the raw expression and concise form of the style.

Alternative Tentacles Records is proud to partner with Nadine Records to present Nasalrod and their new release the "Friends" 45, a two-song 7" that takes a demented, sometimes humorous look at friendship, exploring not only what friends are for but also what might be lurking behind a friendly face.

Hailing from Portland, OR and once described by legendary underground artist Lydia Lunch as “harsh, hard...catchy, weird, arty” and “a very unique blend that defies category,” Nasalrod is a collaborative vision of punk rock chaos. In their years together, Nasalrod has built a reputation for its notoriously frantic live performances and an unapologetically unhinged approach. Their music has been described by Week in Pop as “raucous and radically defiant…a party crashing cavalcade of confidence and cavalier fancy.”

Led by Chairman's sneering, kooky yet soulful vocals, expanded by Mustin Douch’s wiley, dexterous guitar explosions, anchored by Mandy Morgan’s punchy, authoritative bass work, and driven by the relentless intensity of founding Fear drummer Spit Stix, the quartet combines ferocious spazz-punk, warped melodies and convulsive rock and roll into a sound that is as unpredictable as it is infectious.

"Friends" features a version of Fear's “What Are Friends For?”, originally written by Spit Stix! The reworked rendition here finally brings Spit's intended vision to life. Paired with the melodic intensity of “Behind Friendly Faces”, the two tracks offer contrasting perspectives on friendship, delivered with Nasalrod's signature blend of theatrical energy, twisted humor, precise musicianship, and explosive intensity. It’s this very unhinged creative vision which has been on Jello Biafra’s radar since the release of their split with Victim’s Family, In The Modern Meatspace on Nadine Records in 2024. He’s not the only one who has noticed, as Nasalrod has been making a name for itself and has shared stages with acts such as The Jesus Lizard, Mudhoney, Melt-Banana, Mike Watt, Alice Donut, Iggy Pop and more.

Recorded at Portland's Jackpot! Studios by Larry Crane (Tape Op Magazine, Sleater-Kinney, Cat Power, Elliott Smith) and mixed and mastered by Stephan Hawkes (Red Fang, High on Fire, Gaytheist), "Friends" perfectly captures Nasalrod's uniquely chaotic approach, pushing the boundaries of its own peculiar brand of punk rock and proving that originality and insanity can go hand in hand. As Joyzine.org recently stated, "In a musical climate often content with the familiar, Nasalrod’s audacity feels not only welcome but necessary."

The 7-inch “Toss N' Turn / Akk34” by Gympie Gympie, released on Zion Record, pairs a danceable calypso number with an atmospheric instrumental track. Gympie Gympie brings together seasoned musicians from Japan’s punk and reggae scenes, including members of Determinations, Bull The Dougs, Macrobiotics, The Miceteeth, Sayos and Zazz Riddim +. The release marks the group’s fifth 7-inch.

On the A-side, “Toss N' Turn” creates a buoyant yet slightly melancholic mood with its Jamaican rhythm and catchy melodic phrasing. Vocals are once again provided by ane, who is also active with Sofa Rockers. Her bright, distinctive voice gives the track a unique tension between lightness and wistfulness.

“Akk34” on the B-side is an instrumental piece dedicated to a family as a memorial. Guitar sounds, restrained arrangements and an atmosphere shaped by hope define this second side. Together, both tracks bring vibrant Jamaican music and Japanese melancholy into dialogue without flattening their contrasting moods. Released in a limited edition, the 7-inch carries catalog number ZR2010.

The “Essex Green Expanded Edition” LP by Essex Green is released on Happy Happy Birthday To Me and presents the self-titled debut EP in expanded form. The edition adds early 7" singles and previously unreleased archival recordings to the original tracks and comes with a full-color cover, insert, and download card.

Essex Green, formed by members of the Ladybug Transistor and Guppyboy, rely on neo-psychedelic, melody-driven songwriting, documented here in its earliest stages. The edition includes core tracks from the early EP such as “Chester” and “Fabulous Day” along with additional single cuts; of particular note are two previously unreleased songs, “No Small Faces” and “Howard Street Tonight,” which shed light on the historical context of the release.

As an archival project from Happy Happy Birthday To Me, the “Essex Green Expanded Edition” offers a compact look at the band’s formative phase, shortly before they found their footing on Kindercore and later on Merge Records. In addition to the original EP, the collection delivers rare and newly issued documents from those early years, expanding the Essex Green discography with worthwhile material from the band’s archives.

Released on Punk Art, Mal-One’s “Future Nostalgia” 12" brings the title track to vinyl for the first time in a release tailored to the 12" format, and adds a signed, blind-embossed 12" art print that, within the PUNK50 activities (1976–2026), forms part of the package. Mal-One uses the single to emphasize the idea that looking back and remembering are part of collectively shaping the future; the line “Future Nostalgia we carry all our pasts” serves as a recurring motif throughout the release. The edition is limited and comes in a compact, cogent presentation that brings together the artist’s visual and musical work.

Musically, Mal-One expands the original version with an exclusive dub version titled “Future Dub” and shifts the B-side territory toward a dub take on the material: two tracks from the forthcoming dub album “Punk Dub Sessions” appear here in new versions. “Dub King” reworks the idea of “God Save The King” in updated form, while “Holiday Dub” continues the narrative behind “Holiday In Someone Else’s Misery.” In this way, Mal-One’s “Future Nostalgia” 12" on Punk Art presents itself as a focused four-track release that unites song, remix arrangement, and artist image in a compact yet precise package.

The "When In Rome Do As The Vandals" LP by The Vandals is released on Kung Fu Records and documents the band's early work in compact form. The album features distinctive song ideas, fast arrangements, and repeatedly applies an ironic perspective; in addition to original tracks, the record also includes "Hocus Pocus," a recognizable cover take on the classic by Focus, whose writers are named in the credits.

For this edition, Thom Wilson served as producer; the recordings feature Jan Nils Ackermann (guitar), Joe Escalante (drums), and Stevo (vocals), with bass tracks contributed by Brent Turner, while on "Rico" Chalmer Lumary handled bass and vocals. The reissue was remastered by Michael Hateley; Dominic Davi was responsible for the reissue design, Mike Doud for the artwork, and Alan Newberg contributed the cover photos. Kung Fu Records presents the "When In Rome Do As The Vandals" LP as a documentary look at the band's unpolished, sarcastic punk and, through the credits listed, offers clear insight into the creation and production personnel of this release.

“Balderdash From The Archives” LP by The Dickies is released on Cleopatra and documents a selection of previously unreleased studio and live recordings from various creative periods of the band. Cleopatra issued this edition in 2023; the vinyl version comes as a limited yellow-and-purple splatter pressing that underscores the archival character of the collection. The production emphasizes the collectible nature of the record, without added remixes or further post-production.

Musically, “Balderdash From The Archives” spans demos and alternate takes from the 1980s and 1990s as well as several live recordings; the material ranges from alternate versions such as “Out of Sight, Out of Mind (alternative take)” to early demos like “Jim Bowie” and “Monkey See, Monkey Do,” through to live versions of tracks such as “Monster Mash” and the cover of “Walk on the Wild Side.” The selection makes the band’s approach recognizable: concise, catchy melodies, multi-part vocal lines, and an ironic streak that has characterized The Dickies since their early days. As an LP on Cleopatra, “Balderdash From The Archives” offers a compact cross-section of rare recordings and expands the band’s discography with previously lesser-known studio fragments and live moments.

The “Buddha” LP by Blink‑182 is released on Kung Fu and documents the band’s early recordings as a remastered reissue of demo material originally recorded in 1994. The recordings were reworked by Kung Fu Records and re-released in 1998, making the early songs accessible to a wider audience.

Musically, “Buddha” showcases the band’s still-raw yet already distinctive skate punk: short, melodic choruses, driving tempos, and alternating lead vocals between Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge define the overall sound. The tracks combine immediate catchiness with a directness characteristic of punk; you can hear the influence of the Descendents as well as early traces of the melodic sensibility that would later become one of the band’s trademarks. The sessions were recorded in a short span of time at Doubletime Studios in Santee, California.

The release stands out because of its origin story: as an early collection, partly recorded in a live-style setup, it forms the foundation for later reworkings on subsequent albums. Kung Fu carried out digital post-production and remixing, giving the remastered version a noticeably clearer sound and placing the archival material in an improved sonic context. The songs were written by Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Scott Raynor, who were already carving out the band’s distinctive songwriting here.

The LP "Live On Wfmu / At Carabar Blue Vinyl Edition," released on Almost Ready, documents two incisive performances by Cheater Slicks: a studio session for WFMU’s The Cherry Blossom Clinic and a live show at Carabar in Columbus. The selection of nine tracks runs from raw rockers like "Refried Dreams" and "In This Town" to the surprising cover of "Mystery Ship," capturing the band somewhere between thunderous garage punk and off-kilter melodicism.

Cheater Slicks have operated as a three-piece unit since 1987 and, over that time, have forged a signature sound built on rough-hewn guitars, lean arrangements, and a bassless approach à la the Cramps; vocal shifts between Tom Shannon and Dana Hatch add to the jittery immediacy of the songs. The live setting heightens the raw dynamics while remaining song-oriented, leaving room for longer, almost hypnotic passages like "Train Of Dreams."

The WFMU session was handled in the studio, as is typical for the station’s series of radio sessions, and this edition was prepared specifically for the vinyl format; for the band’s similar reissue series, Marco Butcher served as mastering engineer, while WFMU sessions are often engineered by Gil Shuster. These production details give the live material a clear yet immediate presentation. Beyond the collector appeal of the limited pressing, the real draw of this release lies in its documentary closeness to the Cheater Slicks’ live experience.

Los Angeles hardcore veterans BERTHOLD CITY return with their new four-song 7", No Brotherhood. Serving as the follow-up to their 2024 sophomore full-length, Where Did We Go Wrong?, the EP finds the band delivering their most urgent and uncompromising material to date. Once again produced and mixed by Nick Jett (TERROR), No Brotherhood captures BERTHOLD CITY at their sharpest, fastest, most aggressive, and unapologetically direct.

Formed by seasoned veterans of the hardcore community, BERTHOLD CITY upholds the spirit of traditional hardcore while carving their own path with driving riffs, explosive rhythms, and lyrics rooted in conviction. Since their inception, they have earned a reputation for intense live performances and an unwavering work ethic, securing their place as one of Los Angeles' most vital modern-hardcore acts. Each member brings decades of experience, building on the foundation laid with their earlier bands and pushing the sound forward with renewed purpose.

With No Brotherhood, BERTHOLD CITY condense their vision into four songs of raw power, bridging the genre's timeless foundation with a contemporary urgency that speaks to the present moment.
