The RoToTo history began in the early 1940s. Back then, the RoToTo founder returned from the USA with a knitting machine for socks in his luggage. His hometown Kouryo-cho in the Kitakatsuragi district of the Japanese prefecture Nara already had a reputation for producing Japan’s finest textiles, so a socks factory was just a piece of a jigsaw. It didn’t take too long until RoToTo was known for designing high-quality socks that offered the best comfort while being as functional as possible. During winter season, the RoToTo socks are mainly made from wool while in the months of summer, RoToTo offers a highly breathable lightweight version made from linen yarn, so the brand’s products assort well with the climate conditions.
