The silhouette clearly takes its cues from HOKA’s mountain routes, but in Black / Carbon Black it feels pleasantly understated and works just as well in the city as it does on rooty trails. Reflective lines accent the side overlays and provide added visibility at dusk.

The upper made from tough rip-stop nylon and airy mesh inserts offers a durable shell with good ventilation. Reinforced zones in the toe and heel areas protect against debris, while the softly padded tongue and padded collar wrap the foot securely. The slim lacing system allows for a precise fit that keeps the Mafate Speed 2 TS locked in during brisk walks or light trail running.

Underfoot, HOKA’s high-volume CMEVA midsole with pronounced Meta-Rocker geometry delivers smooth transitions and long-lasting comfort. The deep Active Foot Frame cradles the foot in the shoe and provides noticeable support without restricting the natural rolling motion.

The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with aggressive lugs and flexible grooves bites reliably into wet rock, forest floor, or asphalt.
