The “Be Yourself” 12" by Pancratio, released on Faith Beat, presents four compact club tracks that carry the artist’s sound forward in a focused way. The EP includes the tracks “Be Yourself,” “Take Me To The Music,” “Catch Me,” and “It’s Time,” forming a concise addition to Pancratio’s previous album “Automatic House” on the same label. With this 12", Faith Beat issues a compact, clearly structured single that expands the label’s catalog with another dancefloor-oriented release.

Musically, Pancratio relies on driving, hypnotic house arrangements in his familiar signature style: the title track opens with a purposeful groove, while “Take Me To The Music” carries the pulsing flow across the A-side. On the B-side, “Catch Me” and “It’s Time” provide a coherent continuation of the hypnotic pulse, dominated by rhythmic precision and a deeply rooted feel for flow and tension. The production remains clear and direct; Pancratio works with stripped-back elements that unfold their impact on the dancefloor. For fans of his previous work, the “Be Yourself” EP on Faith Beat is a clear, concentrated expression of his current club aesthetic and adds four considered tracks to the label’s program that are effective both in DJ sets and when played on loop.

Released on STABLO, the 12" “No. 9994” by STABLO brings together two concise, untitled tracks (A: 2:19, B: 2:20) and is offered exclusively on vinyl as a strictly limited edition. On the Bandcamp page, STABLO announces the release as a one-time pressing with a per-customer purchase limit; the physical edition is clearly aimed at collectors and the DJ community.

Musically, “No. 9994” operates in the space between breaks, minimal, and tech house, with the tracks built around lean structures and compact arrangements. STABLO, as a project and label with ties to Berlin, continues a stripped-down aesthetic that relies on punchy grooves and loop-based structures; this focus is also reflected in the associated genre tags. The release comes across as the logical outcome of the project’s many years of activity.

For DJs, the 12" offers immediate applications as a transition or set element thanks to its short, focused tracks; for collectors, the limited nature of the pressing is a defining feature. The label does not explicitly provide concrete credits for producers or participating musicians, so the emphasis remains on the sound concept and the record’s physical presence.

The “Pzdc” double LP by Locked Club is released on Ones And Zeros and comprises 16 tracks presented across two LPs. The long-awaited release brings together bass-heavy electronic club productions and includes guest contributions from Boys Noize, Cardopusher, Mc Marie, RLGN, Hespermen, and ANY ACT. Locked Club relies on compact arrangements and dense production that feels designed both for club systems and for focused listening at home.

Tracks like “VCIDFUTUR3” with Boys Noize, “KLASS” with Cardopusher, and “PIZDEC” with Mc Marie mark specific collaborations within the album and showcase the range of Locked Club between driving basslines and synthetic textures. Additional tracks with RLGN, Hespermen, and ANY ACT integrate rap and vocal contributions into the electronic framework without losing the continuous focus on rhythm and low-end. With “Pzdc,” Ones And Zeros presents a tightly composed double LP project that documents Locked Club’s musical signature in a club-oriented format featuring a versatile cast.

The “Krux” LP by Vril is released on Delsin and marks a deliberate change of direction: on this 13-track album, Vril expands his familiar, dub-driven sonic foundation into a densely layered electronic sound and, for the first time, brings several close collaborations to the forefront. Five tracks were created together with Aurora Halal, Verraco, René Wise, AZARI, and ATEQ, causing the album’s structure to oscillate between atmospheric, rhythmically offset moments and sharply defined, driving arrangements; the advance track “Signum Ex Auro” serves as an example that sketches out this balance. Vril’s compositional fingerprint remains central throughout: subtle delay architectures, deep bass spaces, and modular textures that merge generations of analog and digital sounds.

Beyond its musical direction, “Krux” also puts a strong emphasis on its presentation: the artwork once again comes from Daniel Martin Diaz, the layout is handled by Erris Huigens, and the lacquer cut was done by Andreas Kauffelt; the release is distributed via Clone Distribution. For vinyl buyers there is a standard 2xLP edition as well as a limited version, with the exact vinyl configuration—and the note that the track “Rack Rash” is not included on the record—remaining part of the physical package. With its combination of collaborative tracks, artful visual language, and Vril’s clear production signature, “Krux” positions itself on Delsin as a distinctive electronic statement LP.

Roman Khropko’s 12-inch “Among The Machines,” released on OBI Trackz, combines precise club mechanics with warm electro moments. The four tracks unfold gradually between stripped-back minimal techno, tech house, and melodically charged passages, with the arrangement clearly tailored to the flow of a DJ set.

“Glimpse” opens with tight drums, a straightforward groove, and a tension-filled build. “Piece of Truth” then brings greater rhythmic flexibility into the mix: elastic bass lines and a funkier swing meet subtle tech-house influences without disrupting the release’s controlled flow. Roman Khropko works with just a few carefully placed elements, allowing them to develop their impact over the course of the tracks.

On side two, “Fractum” moves into a hypnotic minimal techno mood, creating space for an extended club moment with its steady foundation. The title track, “Among The Machines,” then shifts the focus toward emotional electro. Melodic tension and a melancholic tone give the closing track a distinctly lingering quality.

The artwork was created by Just Visser, while mastering was handled by Time Item Studio. The record was cut at Artone Studio, with Roman Khropko and OBI Trackz presenting a release that closely interweaves rhythmic precision with emotive synthesizer work.

The Geko02 12-inch by Ok Eg, released on Geko, is the duo’s second outing on their own imprint and directly picks up on the label’s early phase, in which the producers methodically explore their sonic ideas.

Musically, Geko02 opens out into lusher, more dreamlike and more abstract territory: finely wrought layers of synthesizers meet precise percussion arrangements that resist any easy categorization. Pulsing undercurrents and a springy groove create a well-balanced relationship between intricate rhythmic detail and controlled tension; the tracks move between gentle restraint and powerful dynamics.

The record documents OK EG’s feel for organic textures and carefully considered forms, with assured motion and gentle pressure remaining the defining characteristics. In headphones, the tracks unfold with a dense, intimate presence, while on open floors they impress through their clarity and strong sense of space. The production feels deliberately stripped-back yet rich in nuance, allowing each sonic space to develop its own internal logic.

For listeners who value electronic music beyond familiar pigeonholes, Geko02 presents Ok Eg as a project that connects sound design and danceability while pursuing a clear aesthetic direction on the Geko label.

Luca Lozano has long been an artist whose output as both a producer and designer we've admired and after many years of seeing his records fly off the shelves here at Phonica, we're delighted to be releasing the 'Da Vinci' EP by the Klasse Wrecks boss on our main label. We'll let Lucas, the modern day renaissance man himself, take it from here: "These four tracks were created over a few sessions while I was settling into a dank basement studio (which was new at the time and now long gone). ‘The Magnificent’ and ‘Delta Force’ were made just after I acquired an old Korg Delta synth, I spent a lot of time getting the 1970s beast to sync up with modern equipment and both tracks make use of it in various elements. ‘Eau De Dave’ is a cheeky homage to a UK producer legend, I’ve been digging into his various older productions recently and went back to a fidget sound for the fun of it. ‘Crunchy Nut’ was kind of inspired by early U.K. tech house, it was the last track confirmed on the EP and came together super quick. As usual it’s a mix of old drum machines like a modded 707 and a bunch of old samples I’ve had on my computer for a couple of decades now. I’m happy I managed to work some slap bass into a track finally…"

Hey ho, let's go!

The “Peacewave” EP, released on Quirk by Berlin-based Norwegian producers Alexander Skancke and Henriku, marks their return to Skancke’s own label and reunites the duo after their last highly successful joint release in 2023 (QRK009 “Happy Birthday” EP).

On this EP, they team up with Ethan Dalziel, guitarist of Berlin post-punk band Klang, adding an eclectic expansion of the label’s genre palette to the Quirk catalog and once again proving just how open-minded the producers are musically.

Across four tracks, the record develops a focus that fuses old-school electronic elements from electro and new wave, house and techno, with rock-inflected components, without getting lost in mere genre formulas.

Highlights include “ATM,” with Henriku’s characteristic voice giving it strong recognition value, as well as “Orange Sunshine.” Both are enhanced by guitar parts from Ethan Dalziel, providing an organic complement to the tracks’ electronic framework.
The title track “Peacewave” lends its name to the release and is an absolute dancefloor filler. The final track on the flip side, “Ragnarok” (B2), stands out with clever, precise sampling—a patient, steadily building party starter.

A thoroughly successful EP and a crystal-clear recommendation!

Released on Fjaak, the “Fjaak015” 12" by Fjaak delivers four new tracks that push the Berlin duo’s rough‑edged, analog approach to the limit. The EP opens with “Serotonin,” a tightly arranged, groove‑centered cut with punchy drums, precise hi‑hat sequencing, and a forceful low end whose analog textures give it real physical impact. “Threshold” shifts the tension into more hypnotic territory; skipping rhythms, filtered synth stabs, and wide, flooding reverbs build a slowly growing yet focused momentum. At its core the result stays electronic, while clear influences from techno, power house, dub, and breakbeat can be heard.

On the B‑side, “Bio Data” moves into tougher, industrially inflected structures and suddenly opens up into an airy, almost euphoric passage that balances the track with sharp contrast. Closing out the record, “Wax Pack” uses sequenced analog synths, driving percussion, and rolling low end to deliver an extended dancefloor piece that relies on controlled shifts in intensity and fine‑grained textural detail. With “Fjaak015,” Fjaak reaffirm their reputation for hardware‑driven arrangements, a rebellious club aesthetic, and electrifying live performances; the EP is clearly tailored for dark rooms and heavyweight sound systems and underscores the distinctive style that defines the Berlin duo.

Released on 22Recordings, the “22247011” 12" by Bodeler & Grees brings together four concise electro tracks on a compact vinyl edition that also includes a digital download. The record features the cuts “Tie-Breaker,” “Automata” (06:35), “El Electronic,” and “Outstanding,” and was mastered for release by Justin Drake; the physical 12" was listed on the label’s site as a vinyl edition and marked as sold out at the time of listing.

Musically, “22247011” moves between sharply defined electro structures and influences from Detroit, acid house, and EBM, as suggested by the release’s style tags. Bodeler & Grees favor stripped-down arrangements with striking motifs and sequenced synth lines that, in the shorter compositions, leave room for variation and DJ-friendly transitions. The 12" released on 22Recordings thus underscores the position of the Barcelona-based label as a platform for contemporary electronic releases and delivers a focused, club-oriented statement within the current electro scene.

The "Plastique People" 12" by Break 3000 is released on Electron Feel and brings a well-deserved vinyl reissue of these sought-after electroclash classics from the years 1999–2003. The release compiles distinctive club tracks from the early phase of the project, which originally appeared on Meuse Muzique in Maastricht.

"Plastique People feat. Zusi" has returned as a club hit in recent years and has driven up the prices of the original pressings on Discogs. "Last Emotion" had previously been unreleased and gained renewed attention after a limited reissue by the Argentine label Calypso's Dream, which had earlier released the "The Rise Of Poseidon I" edition that also included "Sacrifice" — a track that became a hit thanks to its appearance on Tiga’s DJ‑Kicks compilation in 2003. The vocoder track "Emolotion" had a brief vinyl comeback in 2023 on the Milan-based label Mondo Phase.

All tracks were newly remastered by Salz Mastering in Cologne. Break 3000 is characterized by a stripped-down electroclash approach: lean arrangements, striking synth lines, vocoder vocals, and a straightforward club focus that also conveys the raw aesthetics of the late ’90s and early 2000s. Music & art by Break 3000.

The “Can You Feel It” 7" by Diesler drops on G.A.M.M. and delivers two focused versions: the “Latin B-Boy Rework” on the A-side and the “Latin B-Boy Dub” on the B-side. Diesler leads the track without unnecessary ornamentation; instead, precisely placed percussion and stripped-down bass motifs shape the arrangements, making the 7" function as a compact DJ tool. The concise running time and clearly defined versions make the release suitable both for sets with a direct floor focus and for transitions between classic 4/4 programs.

Musically, Diesler weaves Latin-hypnotic rhythms with B-boy breaks and driving four-on-the-floor elements, giving the “Can You Feel It” 7" a distinctive interpretation of the underlying theme; the production emphasizes percussive subtleties and a deep, rolling bassline that runs like a common thread through both versions. The A-side leans more on groove and dance-oriented dramaturgy, while the B-side, with its more dub-focused perspective, opens up space for subtler DJ manipulations. Working with a clear signature, Diesler delivers a compact statement with the “Can You Feel It” 7" on G.A.M.M. that speaks to electronic dance floors with rhythmic finesse.

Through ten tracks, the album journeys through lush, aerated textures and beatless expanse. Hypnotic grooves deepen and bloom in a flow of shapes and colors, creating a sound that is both meditative and full of life.

Thirty years after the release of his seminal Ten Days of Blue, Beltran's musicianship, vision and desire to produce remain at a fever pitch. With Sunrise and the Life We Live his gift of extracting emotion from the universe and turning it into a unique musical experience puts him in a class of his own.

Released on Klasse Wrecks, the "Cabbage Trax 2" 12" delivers new electro and breaks tracks by DMX Krew and Luca Lozano, forming the second installment in the fast‑paced Cabbage Trax series. The record features mutual reworks: DMX Krew provides the original "Shake", Luca Lozano contributes a remix of "Shake"; Luca Lozano also presents "Freak", which in turn returns in a remix version by DMX Krew. Klasse Wrecks positions the release as a direct, high‑energy sequence of short club weapons with a clear focus on driving beats — "If it's slow we don't wanna know!".

Musically, the 12" moves between cool, synthetic electro motifs and breaks‑oriented rhythms; the mutual remixes highlight the contrasting production approaches of Lozano and Ed DMX and thus create a compact juxtaposition of two perspectives on modern electro. The tight tracklist and the remix pairs make "Cabbage Trax 2" a striking statement within Klasse Wrecks' Cabbage Trax series, one that feels designed both for DJ sets and for heavy rotation in short club sets.

'Nightcall' is the first song Kavinsky provides vocals for, a duet you might say, featuring the zombie and his girlfriend, a.k.a. Lovefoxxx from CSS! The song was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and mixed by SebastiAn. The remix of this song, by a mysterious Dustin N?guyen, is an outstanding pop song that everyone can enjoy. On the other side, Kavinsky has produced the fantastic 'Pacific Coast Highway', in which we follow a ghostcar on the highway. The remix job is by French avant-garde producer Jackson. His epic 9 minute long version is unmissable!

The "In Muzikon" 12" by Low End Activist meets SeekersInternational, released on Digital Sting, brings two distinct production styles into a precisely balanced dialogue. Low End Activist, now based in Berlin and originally from the United Kingdom, meets here with SeekersInternational, a collective rooted in British Columbia with Filipino heritage; the interplay of their approaches forms the core of this electro-driven project.

Musically, SKRSINTL’s skewed, dub- and dancehall-adjacent material merges with Low End Activist’s stripped-back, subsonic bass work. The tracks hover at the edges of ambience and rhythm, working with fragments, collage, and deconstruction, drawing on VHS aesthetics, rough live sound system recordings, and splintered grime references without lapsing into nostalgia. The result plays like a contemporary distillation of these touchpoints: carefully honed yet outward-looking sonic spaces in which momentum and continuity are strongly felt.

The vinyl pressing comes in a limited edition of 330 copies and is outfitted by Digital Sting with double-sided screen-printed DJ jackets, Obi strip-style stickers, and hand-stamped white labels. The artwork was created in collaboration between SKRSINTL and Digital Sting, while Alec Ness and Greg Reierson handled the mastering. This aesthetic and craft-focused attention to detail makes the "In Muzikon" 12" a clear, physically tangible addition to the Digital Sting catalog.

The "I Do Dance EP" 12-inch by Malik Kassim aka Retromigration is released on Potency and presents four tracks that connect the label’s club-oriented profile with a warm, melodic take on house.

On side A, "Love Rock" immediately evokes a block party atmosphere: heavy, carefully placed basslines and a texture that reveals the studio-honed link between hip-hop and jazz. The title track "I Do Dance" delivers exactly what its name promises—radiant synths, emotional pads, and hints of the classic Korg M1 organ sound, a universal call to celebrate. On the B-side, "Neighbourhood" keeps the energy up with tighter percussion patterns, while dancehall samples and dub aesthetics stretch the sonic spectrum in new directions. Closer "Go 2 Nowhere" combines supple breakdown moments with yearning keys, unleashing the EP’s most urgent groove to wrap things up. (Track descriptions based on the release information available.)

Malik Kassim, who under the name Retromigration has already released on labels such as Love On The Rocks, Rhythm Section, and Wolf Music, continues his proven blend of groove finesse and melodic sensitivity with this EP. The "I Do Dance EP" underlines his consistency as a producer who unites attention to detail with dance floor impact, fitting seamlessly into Potency’s forward-facing catalog profile.

The "Curation Two: D.Dan" 12" compilation has been released on The Third Room and marks the second chapter of the curated series, shaped by D.Dan. The compilation focuses on a tightly defined aesthetic, with the curator setting a clear sonic stance through his productions and DJ sets: precision, intensity, and subtle experimentation are front and center.

At the heart of the record is D.Dan with "Bound": stripped-back, warm, and controlled, with sharp accents and a persistent, earthy low end. "Dynamic" is described as a standout moment; Rene Wise delivers a fluid, rolling tool that gains impact through small disruptions and mounting tension. Connor Wall opens up space for a more playful, forward-driving psychedelia with "Slither", while "Gensou" by Sunju Hargun & DJ MARIA brings things to a close with a restrained, detail-rich acid approach. Across all four tracks, the release feels less like a loose compilation and more like a cohesive work drawn from a shared sonic language, in which contrasts between tension and warmth, and control and surprise, set the pace.

The “Vice City EP” 12" by Geek, released on D.A.M.N, marks a confident entry into the dark street milieu of its fictional namesake and appears as a contribution to D.A.M.N’s newly founded sublabel. On the “Vice City EP,” Geek presents four tight tracks that render the project’s electroid universe in distilled form, working with clear motifs and striking hooks.

The production focuses on rhythmic precision and electronic textures; the arrangements leave space for distinctive synth lines and pointed percussion without getting lost in superfluous ornamentation. Across the four cuts, Geek shows a keen sense of economy and timing, so each track sets its own accents while contributing to the coherent overall picture of the “Vice City EP.”

For the D.A.M.N label, this release is a statement of freshness: Geek delivers four new cuts positioned as compact electro statements that sharply reflect the sublabel’s concept. The “Vice City EP” offers a direct, focused entry point into Geek’s work and at the same time serves as a clear indication of the direction D.A.M.N will be taking.

Released on Vinezza, the “A Voice Without Color” 12-inch by Fleet.Dreams presents four immediately danceable cuts that steer the project in an even more club-focused direction. Side A features “Light Azure” and “Flares Of A Lone Ember,” while side B holds the title track “A Voice Without Color” and “Two Stone Sculpture,” resulting in a compact, mix-friendly sequence aimed equally at DJs and open dance floors.

Musically, on “A Voice Without Color” Fleet.Dreams combines driving, groove-oriented low-end structures with dub-like movements, lush reverbs, and dreamlike synth pads; each composition unfolds in long, wave-like buildups and offers rich spaces for transitions and creative mixes. The production leans on pulsing rhythms, expansive reverbs, and subtle psychedelic shadings, so that the 12-inch emerges as a piece of electronic sound painting that unfolds its effect both under the stars and under club lights. Early support from Kiernan Laveaux, Daniel Rincón (NAP), Scott Zacharias, and Amelia Holt underscores the release’s relevance within the scene.

The “Break Through (Inc Radioactive Man / Silicon Scally / Morphology Remixes)” 12" by Signal Type, released on Cultivated Electronics, marks the label’s fiftieth release and channels its founding energy into the present. Signal Type, the joint project of label head Sync 24 and Matt Whitehead, delivers with “Break Through” a snappy, driving, and psychedelic electro track clearly designed for the dance floor. Funky, spacey elements and a restlessly pulsing energy point equally to the label’s early releases and its current direction. Released for Cultivated Electronics’ twentieth anniversary, the record serves as a milestone that bridges classic machine funk and contemporary club sounds.

The EP expands on the original with three remixes: Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man) injects the track with a raw, Detroit-tinged machine energy, while Carl A. Finlow (Silicon Scally) offers a deeper, after-hours-oriented club version. Morphology from Finland round out the package with a hypnotic, 90s-inspired roller that fuses analog sensibility with a futuristic groove. The remixes come from long-time allies of the label and distinctive figures of the electro scene. The 12" comes in a full sleeve with artwork by Geometric Love, bringing together musical tradition and contemporary sound aesthetics in a coherent release on Cultivated Electronics.

2026 Repress

Next year the iconic anthem Cafe Del Mar will celebrate its 30th anniversary, a landmark that will be celebrated with a series of brand new remixes alongside the finest existing remixes in specially remastered versions. Launching the series of vinyl releases in September is a remastered vinyl-only release of the original mix, as well as the best-known version of this classic track, the iconic Three ‘N One Remix.

Nearly 30 years ago, Paul M aka DJ Kid Paul recording as Energy 52 unleashed a record onto an unsuspecting public that would go on to define club culture for an entire generation of dance music enthusiasts. Named as an homage to the legendary Ibiza sunset spot, Café Del Mar broke down boundaries between the underground and the mainstream, charting in the UK singles charts on three separate occasions and named as the “best tune ever” by Mixmag at the start of the new millennium. In terms of cultural and emotional impact in dance music, it’s hard to find a record that comes close.

Café Del Mar has come to represent the most euphoric and hedonistic pleasures of dancefloors - in Ibiza and all around the world - and has been remixed by some of the biggest names in the industry. Now, 30 years after its original release, Superstition Records will be putting out a new series of releases, with brand new remixes as well as remastered versions of some of the many remixes from across the last three decades. The vinyl-only remastered version of the original and Three ‘N One mixes will launch the series, with further details about the rest of the series announced in the coming weeks.

In 2021 Paul Van Dyk’s Café Del Mar remixes launched a series of vinyl and digital re-issues on the Superstition Records imprint after an almost 20 years hiatus. From 1993 until 2003 Superstition Records was a groundbreaking Techno, Tech-House and Trance Label and released some of the biggest and most revered records of the early German electronic scene.

The evolution of Andreas Tilliander's moniker Tm404 has reached its third stage. The first Tm404 album was a heavily self-restricted concept album, live recorded with classic Roland machines. The subsequent album had a more playful vibe, shaped by Tilliander's extensive live touring. This third Tm404 album on Kontra-Musik simply tells the story of what he's been up to since. The third part of a musical diary, initiated in 2013. The Tm404 venture might have started out as a dreamy acid dub project, more suited for the chill-out than the main floor. But by popular demand Tillander found himself touring big clubs around the globe and the Tm404 sound adapted organically. As a result, the album features tracks like Vactro and Rymdeko: fast paced acidic techno tracks in the same vein as classic Plus 8 releases, but with more space echo. Much more. But never fear, fans of the classic warm and bubbling Tm404 sound. You'll certainly get yours as well. A substantial portion of this album was recorded in a studio flat in Berlin as part of an artist residency. For obvious reasons, Tilliander could only bring a small portion of his studio gear to this German sanctuary. As a consequence, this album has a more stripped down vibe than its predecessors, which creates more space for Tilliander's glowing melodies. The last track on the album, a loving homage to Kontra-Musik's label boss, is a sublime example. And for the Instagram generation, here's the short version: The album is called Syra. That translates to Acid. You're welcome.

How could we talk about Kavinsky without evoking the movie that introduced his music to the general public? Dazzling success of the independant film industry of the last decade, "Drive" is the kind of movies in which the soundtrack takes a front seat role. As in his previous realisations, Nicolas Winding Refn took great care, with the help of Cliff Martinez (former drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) to select the tracks that would feature in his latest movie. It's in this way he picked Nightcall for the opening scene, and we soon cannot tell anymore if the music responds to the picture or the contrary.

Kavinsky's long-awaited debut album Outrun features 13 tracks, including 8 previously unreleased and some reworks. From the first notes, we can hear Paul Hahn (manager of Daft Punk) recounting an introduction to the adventures of Kavinsky. Warm and electric, Blizzard makes its entrance and sets the tone before allowing ProtoVision to take its place, which with its nervous and synthetic melody was the first excerpt of Outrun that whas released on an EP. Then arrives Odd Look, the first vocal song of the record, which unveils a mysterious funky voice that can remind the groove of Marvin Gaye or Prince. It's then Rampage‘s turn to take us with its menacing orchestral atmosphere like in Dragon Ball Z ; after what comes the persuasive beat of Suburbia on which notorious Havoc from Mobb Deep lent his voice. The upgraded version of Testarossa Autodrive confirms the efficacity of this unstoppable melody, and it's at this point we find Nightcall again, the famous ballad produced by Guy-Manuel from Daft Punk and featuring Lovefoxxx from CSS. Dead Cruiser arrives then, muscled yet melancholic, followed by Grand Canyon which takes us with its electrical ritournelle. The voice of Tyson, the funk revelation from UK, transformed the instrumental First Blood into a génuine hit. The rythmic and melodious Roadgame leads us to Endless, which gently closes this long-awaited revealing first opus, with as a conclusion a narrated epilogue by Paul Hahn again...

The “Likemind 02” 12" by Fugue and Nuron is released on Blueprint Archives and documents the reissue of the split-format record originally issued in the UK in 1994. The record brings together four pieces of melodic, abstract techno: Nuron’s “Mirage” and “In Motion” meet Fugue’s “Contrapoint” and “Interlagos.”

Musically, the release is defined by a finely tuned interplay between melodic lines and stripped-down machine dynamics. Striking, often floating motifs are interwoven with open-ended rhythmic patterns; the arrangements leave room for subtle modulations and textural details, allowing the tracks to function equally well as focused club tools and as introspective listening experiences. This balance between form and atmosphere is characteristic of the work of the producers involved.

As a reissue, Blueprint Archives makes these long-sought UK cuts available once more and adds them to its current archival program. The selection underscores the historically significant place of the Likemind series within the early UK techno scene and offers both collectors and new listeners a compact entry point into the distinctive, melody-driven spectrum of Fugue and Nuron.

The “Inori” 12" released on Ndyuka Rhythms is a four-part EP that forges a direct connection between Japanese heritage and the percussion-driven sonic identity of the label. Hailing from Osaka, Toru Ikemoto delivers four carefully crafted compositions whose individual concepts and moods are closely interwoven.

Each track on the EP bears a Japanese title; for every piece, Toru Ikemoto has developed a distinct musical idea, shaped it with precision, and translated it into a clear sound concept. The arrangements lean on rhythmic structures and pinpointed percussion, while electronic elements carry the atmosphere and give the tracks space for subtle development. With “Inori,” Ndyuka Rhythms once again demonstrates its affinity for rhythm-focused productions and offers Toru Ikemoto’s compositions a platform where origins and contemporary electro-oriented production naturally come together.

“Inori” stands as a focused, conceptually coherent release that makes Toru Ikemoto’s signature and the rhythmic identity of Ndyuka Rhythms clearly recognizable, sending compelling impulses out into the world from its base in Osaka.

Emotional Response's 10th-anniversary celebration are brought to a superb close with Benedikt Frey. He serves up a magnificently dubbed out and psychedelic cover version of Joy Division's 'She's Love Control across four different versions. The vocal version might be the best for us - it retinas that compelling dark drum funk you expect from the band with eerie synth additions and hefty bass. The instrumental is more slow and dubbed out in a traditional sense with the Lucas Croon dub doused in endless reverb. Last of all is a dub by Frey himself that is full of open space and bass bin distorting headiness.

The green vinyl edition of the “Yclept Thorn” LP by Hawksmoor was released on Library Of The Occult and offers the physical manifestation of the latest chapter in James McKeown’s project. Issued as a limited LP, it turns Hawksmoor’s characteristic blend of electronic textures and historically charged motifs into a tangible product – the green pressing underscores the occult aesthetic without coming across as overbearing.

Musically, “Yclept Thorn” bears the hallmark of analog synth work, augmented by organic percussion and sparse melodic lines; the title track consciously leans into ritualistic, almost medieval traits, while pieces like “Aquinas” and “Myrddin Wyltt” illuminate different facets of the album. To shape the sound, McKeown’s own instrument setup was complemented by specialized gear, specifically the Teenage Engineering EP-1320, which lends the material a distinctive, quasi-medieval electronic hue. Additional reworks and design contributions by Antony Ryan (Red Red Paw) and Richard Wells form part of the release and complete the overall picture. In this way, “Yclept Thorn” presents itself as a cohesive, electronically grounded collection of pieces that ties ancient mythic motifs to modern machine sounds.

"The electroclash genre sure has been having a bit of a renaissance moment. During its first coming an odd 25 years ago the French act Sweetlight was a favorite over here. Originally active between 2002 and 2010, they quickly positioned themselves within a refined strand of the global underground scene: inspired by 90s acid house club culture, they rose to prominence by releasing a sparse selection of original tracks and a multitude of remixes that were both dancefloor-effective and immediately recognizable. After the EPs stopped coming, the project seemed to have faded. But their tracks never left our bag: they combined minimalism with ambiguous elegance and retained a distinct, timeless quality, easily transcending the turn-of-the-century style they were most closely associated with. We are delighted, in what we consider nothing less than a full-circle moment, to release "Selected Recordings: 2004 - 2006" and shed light on an underrated yet, in our eyes, absolutely essential project.

ALT022 is an anthology release featuring four extensive, remastered cuts. Abusator, arguably the act's hallmark track and a crossover hit, kicks off the EP. It is joined by Mecaniques Remontees, which opened the milestone Suck My Deck mix by Ivan Smagghe, and Too Shy, both initially part of the same EP back in 2004. Noir Comme Le Beat, an unreleased curiosity from the same era, closes the record. You will find dark, endless, ever-modulating arpeggiator basses, Detroit-via-Paris chord progressions, and spartan drums. The work is, in the artists' own words, low-profile, detail-oriented, and built for late hours. It's an ideal compilation or - depending on the case - introduction, especially now that new work is rumored to be finally on its way."

The 12" Sonic Boom by L.F.T., released on Bordello A Parigi, brings together four compact tracks that push a raw, acid-laced strain of electro forward. Within the label’s rough-edged context, the EP comes across like a short but intense jolt: pummeling, broken beats collide with serrated synth lines and a sonic aesthetic that frequently leans on distorted vocoder voices and static textures. L.F.T. favors immediacy over restraint; the production stacks electronic layers tightly so that the arrangements build pressure both physically and sonically.

Over its course, Sonic Boom runs from the punchy opener “Locked In My Head” and the pestilence-soaked “Las Plagas” to the flickering tension of “Ningen” and the closing, aggressively motor-driven “Schmutzig Personality.” Each track establishes its own motif, which is varied within short, precise structures, making the 12" function as a concentrated discharge of energy. Bordello A Parigi clearly positions the release in the acid/electro realm and presents L.F.T. with a statement that fuses club-readiness with a relentless, industrial attitude.

The green vinyl edition of the 12" “Electro Force” by Electro Force was released on Power Music and presents the distinctive acid and electro elements of the original in a clear, DJ set-focused sequence on wax. The release documents key cuts like “Future Funk” and versions of “This Sound,” characterized by punchy drums, resonant filter sweeps, and synth-driven basslines; in this way, the 12" works both as a functional club tool and as a statement-style reissue.

Musically, the record combines acid house timbres with breakbeat and electro inflections, making it easy to place the tracks in DJ sets while they maintain their own slightly gritty sonic character. In terms of production and within the scene, Electro Force is associated with DJ Duke, which helps explain the origins of the release and its sound aesthetic. The selection focuses on a few concise tracks presented in different mix versions, all of which underline the characteristic groove of this release.

“Since Eleven” 12" by Farron is released on Delsin as part of the Inertia series and carries the catalog number Inertia-14. The record brings together four tracks conceived as a compact unit that adheres to the reduced 12" format.

Farron is a self-organized producer from southern Germany who releases music under several aliases and has long-standing, steady ties to the electronic music scene. Since 2015, he has been running his own label, Shaw Cuts, which serves as a platform for his own productions and like-minded peers, and over the years has become a fixture for DJs with a penchant for broken rhythms and dub-tinged techno aesthetics.

Musically, “Since Eleven” focuses on the soundscape characteristic of Farron: playful, dub-soaked structures meet broken, rhythmically demanding arrangements. The four cuts combine sparse melodic fragments with deep, modulated bass and generously applied echo and delay effects; the result is an elegant yet raw take on techno that works both in club sets and for focused listening. As such, the EP serves as a concise calling card for the producer and directly extends the sound of his Shaw Cuts catalog.

The 12" release "Altering Illusions" on echospace [detroit] brings together five timeless pieces from the body of work of cv313 and adds an almost otherworldly dub version of a radius project. Almost all of the tracks are making their vinyl debut here; this edition draws on material that originally appeared as a 4×12" limited set and is now presented in newly remastered form. This version was remastered and cut by Stefan Betke (POLE) at Scape Mastering in Berlin, which brings out the analog depths of the recordings with particular clarity.

Musically, "Altering Illusions" moves at the intersection of deep electronic music, subharmonic space travel and a stripped-down techno aesthetic; cv313 combines warm modular textures with dense, buzzing drones and sparse rhythmic pulses that oscillate between meditative vastness and harsh analog density. The release clearly bears the project’s signature: a leaning toward organic-sounding soundscapes and a preference for minimalist yet impactful evolutions in sound.

The production credits list Stephen Hitchell for sound design, mixing and engineering; specific tracks were also worked on by Ron Murphy as well as Jamal Wallace and Mark Richardson, complemented by modular sketches from N.S. The combination of the original production at Echospace (Chicago/Detroit) and this new edition makes this 12" a connecting chapter within the cv313 universe.

The colored vinyl edition of the “Music From Tokyo / New York” LP by Loop Diary was released on Personal Affair. It serves as a conceptual continuation of his previous work “Music for Joshua Tree” and is deliberately divided into two halves: Side A unfolds the soundscape of Tokyo, while Side B explores the sonic characteristics of New York. The LP jacket insert features ceramic works by Namiko Ishikawa (NamipotNYC), which complement the interplay between image and sound.

The album weaves together elements of ambient, downtempo, trip-hop, and dub, relying primarily on analog synthesizers and carefully selected vinyl samples. Newly added analog drum machines and purposefully deployed glitch noises shape the groove, while prominent basslines and emphasized dub elements make the sound image denser and more physical. Loop Diary places great importance on space and air; reverb and delay settings become compositional tools he uses to create spatial depth and a sense of atmospheric vastness.

Side A incorporates field recordings from streets and parks in his Japanese home, while Side B works with found sounds from Brooklyn and Manhattan as well as insect song from the mountains surrounding New York. Through this local grounding and precise production, the record invites listeners to immerse themselves in the atmospheres experienced on site and to reconstruct them imaginatively.

The colored vinyl edition of the "Spells" LP by Broshuda has been released on Ballads Infinite and clearly carries the reduced, almost whispered sonic aesthetic of the recordings over to the physical medium. The record assembles a sequence of absurdist vignettes in which lowercase hi-tech atmospheres, textural degradations, and fragmentary radio snippets are woven into a singular, idiosyncratic whole. The sparse instrumentation and the fine attention to detail in the sonic space let each individual scene breathe, drawing the listener into a subliminal, subterranean presence.

Broshua works with contrasting temporal axes: smooth, silky gestures encounter veiled, slippery structures, while mechanical debris is stripped down to its essentials. The mastering by Inner Lakes at Tapewave Studio sharpens this balance without dissolving the fragile detachment of the sounds; instead, it emphasizes the textural nuances, the flicker and hiss that run through the pieces. The arrangements rely on restraint; every element is precisely sculpted and unfolds step by step.

What sets "Spells" apart is the patient, almost ritual way in which Broshua shapes and dissolves sounds. Melodic fragments gently surface, the in-between spaces become perceptible, and the record continually questions where sound ends and meaning begins. Within this attentive space, the release reveals a compositional rigor that is at once seductively disorienting and invites close listening.

The "Code" LP by Cabaret Voltaire is released on Mute and concludes a chapter in which the duo centered around Richard H. Kirk and Stephen Mallinder combined electronic experimentation with danceable arrangements. The album unites themes revolving around surveillance, programming, and mechanisms of control with a precise, clear sonic image, and marks a moment when the band drew on larger-scale production resources without abandoning its idiosyncratic stance.

Musically, "Code" moves between mechanistic electronics, funky basslines, and song-oriented structures; driving grooves meet rough-edged soundscapes and recurring, sharply defined hooks. Tracks like "Here To Go" and "Sex, Money, Freaks" illustrate this balance: catchy, bass-heavy arrangements sit alongside experimental textures, while occasional colorings — such as atmospheric guitar parts by Bill Nelson or surprising harmonica flourishes — add extra nuances to the album.

Cabaret Voltaire themselves were involved in the production; Adrian Sherwood handled pre-production, the recordings took place at the Western Works studios in Sheffield, and the mixes were finalized in London. Guest musicians such as saxophonist Simeon Lister and bassist Mark Brydon complement the core work by Kirk and Mallinder, making "Code" function both as a studio work and as a production statement by the band.

The “Dark Energy” 12" released on Underground Resistance marks the return of James Pennington, a.k.a. the Suburban Knight, to the Resistance camp and channels the signature UR aesthetic into a dark, cosmic form. Produced by UR and mixed by The Martian, the release presents a dense, trance-like mood that consciously leans into nocturnal, synthetic soundscapes. UR lets electronic fields of tension intersect and forges them into tracks that showcase both club functionality and a strong sense of spatial depth.

At the heart of the record are cuts like “Midnight Sunshine” and “Atomic Witchookta,” built on tightly packed basslines, wide, expansive synth pads, and ritualized rhythmic patterns. James Pennington appears under the alias Dark Energy and is portrayed in the accompanying notes as a returning figure and part of a mysterious mission; together with another, unnamed comrade from “Planet X,” he creates an almost incantatory atmosphere. UR uses this concept to draw listeners into a trance-like state that is both spiritual and danceable, where repetitive figures and ethereal melodies open up sonic spaces. The “Dark Energy” 12" is thus a deliberately conceived statement by Underground Resistance, fusing production, mix, and narrative imagery into a self-contained electronic short trip.

Released on Alt Dub, the “Random Layers” 12" by Gradient relies on reduction and precision, showing the producer in an especially focused form. Gradient works here with a deliberately lean palette of kick, bass, chords, and texture, so that each layer eases in gently and the tracks gain depth over time. Nothing feels superfluous; instead, subtle shifts and precisely placed layers create an immersive sense of space and expansiveness.

The EP comprises four dub techno tracks that combine classic atmospheres with a strong sense of detail; patience and sound control shape the flow and dynamics of the cuts. Especially noteworthy is a timeless remix by CV313 (Echospace Detroit), which pushes the existing sense of space even further and lends the release an additional, familiar density. Gradient remains elegantly restrained throughout: every sound source serves a clear purpose, and the arrangements reveal their full impact only with repeated listening.

With “Random Layers,” Alt Dub delivers a release that underscores both the strengths of the label and Gradient’s artistic signature. This 12" stands out with calm, atmospheric dramaturgy and a meticulous precision that makes minimalism feel rich and alive.

The "Sucker DJ" 12" by Kotai, originally released on Kompakt (Kompakt 507), is now available in a remastered version and comes with new artwork by Daniel Pflumm. This release looks back to a club classic, retains its striking motifs, and clearly presents the versions for use in DJ sets. The reworking emphasizes the clarity of the deep basslines and the focus on rhythmic reduction without neglecting the melodic fragments.

Klaus Kotai, a Vienna native and longtime Berlin resident, first came to attention in the mid‑90s with records on Elektro Music Department in Cologne; the collective around Mo Loschelder and Daniel Pflumm was pursuing a radically slimmed‑down form of techno, with which Kotai maintained a clear connection. This background explains why his tracks resonate equally in the realms of club minimal and electronic pop aesthetics.

Musically, "Sucker DJ" moves between stripped‑down minimal and electro‑tinged club sound; the single, released on WMF Records in 2002, received wide recognition, not least due to a remix by Marcin “Highfish” Kozlowski, which carried the track into DJ sets across genres. The Kompakt edition reconstructs this context, delivers the remastered version, and preserves the groove that made the track a staple in many DJ sets at the time.

The pairing of Double Trouble and The Rebel MC represents the interplay between band identity and MC presence; naming the guests further emphasizes the production’s participatory approach. Y-3, the pioneering sports-fashion collaboration between adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, has for three decades dwelled calmly within the "tensions of existence". In conceiving the brand's long-awaited return to runway format at Paris Fashion Week, these codes laid the groundwork leading up to the Spring/Summer 2025 season.

Whilst the focus for runway is traditionally placed on garments, models, styling, environment, and the pageantry in between, it was crucial that music play an integral role in the conversation. Three seasons later, sound has informed creative direction from the very earliest phases of ideation.

Commissioning all-original compositions has become a natural part of this ideology. The return to runway has invited the opportunity to define a new sonic palette for the brand, and beyond that, to usher in a new era of sound for Y-3 that echoes across music & culture.

Following this ethos, and with a mandate to support obscure talent, Montreal duo Solitary Dancer have emerged as the first collaborators in shaping the intimate brand architecture of noise & feeling.

With a body of work now spanning over a trilogy of seasons, the genre-defying Y-3000 imprint provides an outlet to disseminate & recontexualize the original compositions beyond the traditional runway. The label embodies Y-3's enduring commitment to explore innovation within opposing cultural forces.

The works, originally released on Y-3000 as a series of white labels, are now being featured as a 6x 12" vinyl compilation. Designed by Trevor Jackson and limited to just 99 examples, the recordings will also be made available both digitally and on streaming services for the very first time.

A tribute to Bob the Landlord from Rotterdam.

Bob the Landlord became known in Rotterdam after appearing in Roy Dames's legendary documentary about the harbor cafe Willems Kantine. He was a loud and direct landlord who rented small rooms to people around the area. Bob was famous for his strong Rotterdam attitude and the way he spoke to people without filtering his words.

One of the most famous moments was when Cowboy Jos asked him for five euros. Bob angrily replied, "Five euros? On your face!" This line later became a well-known quote in Rotterdam.

Even though he could be rough and strict, Bob became a memorable character and a small cult figure in the city.

4 tracks on one very special release.

A1 by Doctr - Our Minds Belong Together. The long awaited super nu italo hit already played by David Vunk at many festivals and clubs where everyboday is waiting for!

A2 by Theo Scuera - Your Virus.
Club banger and Dancefloor filler with crazy sexy bassline and pumping rhythm section. Half electro half techno. Endmix legendary by Endrik schroeder.

A1 David Vunk and Ben la Desh - Unrealized prophet.
Long time friends Ben la Desh and David Vunk team up again with another super deep techno house track, layered analog sequencial prophet 5 synths sound, Erica Perkons drums and fx. All of this comes together in an exciting tech break with space-like sounds. Be prepared for this secret wapon.

B2 Patricio Diaz - Come To My Hell

Released on Analogical Force, the 12" “Hidden Soul EP” by The 89th Passenger marks the project’s debut on the label and comprises five tracks that unfold between detailed electronic structures and open atmospheres. The record combines precise programming with analog textures, where melodies, breaks, and acid elements collide within an ever-shifting sonic space.

On “Hidden Soul EP,” The 89th Passenger explores the balance between rhythm and mood: hypnotic rhythms carry you through tightly interwoven arrangements, while dense, melancholic undertones lend the pieces an unexpected emotional depth. The electronic transmissions feel both constructed and organic; fine modulations and subtle layers of noise create a tangible physical presence without drowning out the inner fragility of the compositions.

Between meticulous programming and abstract passages, moments of sudden spaciousness emerge in which the music reaches surprising emotional peaks. “Hidden Soul EP” maintains a steady tension between machine-driven rhythm and felt expression, creating a continuous dramatic arc.

As a 12" release on Analogical Force, it is geared toward both focused listening and late-night journeys. “Hidden Soul EP” is suited to those late phases when machines become more than machines, confirming The 89th Passenger as a producer who deliberately balances technique and emotion.

The compilation “Airfunk 008” 12" released on Airfunk presents four tightly arranged electro productions that shift between minimal club patterns and funky, jazz-tinged accents. On “MadoJazz,” Maxime dB teams up with Mickaël Baker to deliver a warm, rhythmically playful opener, while Alvaro Cabana together with Human Halo unfolds a stripped-down groove architecture on “Multiply My Chips,” built from clear synth motifs and calm percussion layers.

On the B-side, Computer Rookies explore the edgier, more mechanical side of electro with “Synthetic,” while The Visitors contribute “Big Bang,” an expansive, atmospheric cut that uses the concise 12" format as a focused EP. The selection of tracks creates a deliberate tension: organic basslines and subtly placed melodic fragments meet meticulous programming and a sparing use of effects. Taken together, it offers a compact overview of the sonic diversity that Airfunk cultivates in its various-artists releases, without relying on extended running times.

The "New Drug" 7" by Matthew Dear is released on Salon and presents the driving title track on the A‑side and the expansive piece "Head in the clouds" on the B‑side. This release is part of a series of three collectible 7" singles (SALON023–025), to which Bruno Pronsato and Rework contribute alongside Matthew Dear.

"New Drug" moves along the border between electro‑pop and pop‑oriented electronic music; the track leans on memorable hooks and a laid‑back groove that evokes subtle low‑rider vibes and at times recalls the warm, soulful band aesthetic of War. The structure stays singable while still electronically modulated, allowing the track to work as a catchy anthem with a clear club connection.

On the flip side, "Head in the clouds" unfolds a slower, hovering arrangement: broad washes of disco color meet hypnotic grooves, with the track building on atmospheric layers and extended passages that leave room for a sense of detachment. The orientation of the B‑side emphasizes a danceable yet otherworldly character.

For years, Matthew Dear has embodied a fusion of songwriting and electronic production; as a DJ, producer, and co‑founder of Ghostly International, he has shaped a distinct vocabulary somewhere between techno, pop, and disco. This 7" slots into his multifaceted body of work and adds a warm, melody‑focused contribution to the Salon series.

“Call And Pulsate” by Noboot is released as a double LP on The Comfort and brings together a wide-ranging set of electronic pieces that span from dance-oriented drive to extended, time-stretching passages. In addition to the title track, the compilation includes cuts such as “Meter Tired,” “Oscillant,” and “Desolated Delay,” each highlighting different facets of the project.

Musically, the record moves within the broad spectrum between electro and techno-leaning club music; driving, precisely placed kicks alternate with acid-tinged basslines, neon-glowing synth melodies, and punctuated percussion accents. Some tracks rely on forward-pushing rhythms, while others use reverb and modulated delay structures to create moments in which temporal frameworks seem to be suspended. This balance of dynamics and space makes the release well suited both for use in the club and for focused listening sessions.

Noboot, listed on Bandcamp as being based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has issued several digital releases and vinyl excursions in recent years; on The Comfort, the artist documents his ability for sonic manipulation and stylistic shifts without sacrificing structural precision. The release also marks an important entry in the label’s catalog.

The “Prime Time” 12-inch by Pureblast and Sa+Ga, released on Punctuality, marks a confident push into the label’s club context and brings the Parisian duo together with the guest project at a sharply focused point. The EP gathers driving, short-form tracks that take their cues from peak-time structures and send clear signals to the dance floor; noteworthy cuts on the record include “Pleasure Principle,” “Dirty Thirty,” and “Ace Feeling.”

The release reads like a statement of intent: Pureblast, previously defined by powerful breakbeats, trance-tinged synth motifs, and a preference for analog drums, showcase tight songwriting and precise sound design on “Prime Time” that is likely to prove itself quickly in DJ sets. The production emphasizes dense bass foundations and punchy percussion, while melodic elements build tension and ensure the tracks also function as effective tools for club play. For those familiar with the Paris scene, the 12-inch offers a direct, to-the-point snapshot of the project.

The Continuum Analysis EP 12" by Jauzas The Shining and Obergman, released on Gladio Operations, presents a focused encounter between two approaches to production within the electro spectrum, bringing together Jauzas The Shining’s recurring contributions to the label with the debut of Swedish producer Obergman. With the Continuum Analysis EP, Gladio Operations continues its own line of releases and places the collaboration between the two artists at the center.

The A-side opens with two powerful cuts by Jauzas The Shining, defined by striking, dark basslines and deep, deliberately drawn-out vocals; clear rhythmic contours and dense textures give these tracks a pressing, urgent profile. On the B-side come the first works by Obergman for the label, including “Kap Flora,” which builds tension through steady bass motifs and playful arpeggios, flirting with hints of trance-like timbres. The sequencing of the tracks emphasizes a contrast between raw-edged darkness and melodic, hypnotic sound design.

The Continuum Analysis EP thus not only documents a one-off collaboration, but also expands the discursive scope of Gladio Operations: on this 12", Jauzas The Shining and Obergman each reveal their own approach to electronic density and structural precision.

Released on Pastasoul, the “Pastasoul 01” 12" by Bress Underground brings together six driving tracks that fuse an immediate club focus with classic house aesthetics. The A-side features “Pasta88,” “Tango Hustle,” and “Masterpiece”; the B-side opens with “Don't Rush Me” and moves from “Chicago Cookie” to the melancholically swinging “On My Mind.”

Bress Underground is the production project of Andrea Calabrese; his work is deeply rooted in house, garage, and the heightened emotion of the nineties. His productions are characterized by warm chord pads, forward-pushing groove patterns, and a preference for organic-sounding percussion that blends classic Chicago sound with contemporary clarity. This stylistic signature runs consistently through the compositions on the 12".

The tracks were independently crafted and clearly bear the producer’s stamp: according to the label print, writing, production, and mixing are all by Andrea Calabrese, completed in his home studio in Berlin; mastering was handled externally, giving the record a balanced sound geared toward club use. Overall, “Pastasoul 01” presents compositional precision and a clear orientation toward soul-infused house traditions without sacrificing modern attention to detail.

Released on Next Moov Records, the “Next Moov #2” 12" by Jovonn brings together reimagined club versions from the inner circle of the New York house scene, adding another accent to the series that curates Jovonn’s archive and reworks. On the A-side you’ll find two characteristic renditions by the late Mike Huckaby, which pick up familiar motifs from the original and turn them into tightly honed, DJ-ready versions without losing the song-based core. Jovonn’s signature remains palpable, while Huckaby’s edits put the emphasis on rhythmic density and atmospheric depth.

The B-side offers Jon Cutler’s classic remix of “Losing My Mind,” complemented by an instrumental version that focuses entirely on groove and arrangement. Next Moov Records thus presents the 12" as a concise piece within Jovonn’s reissue and rework projects: compact, to the point in its production, and clearly aimed at DJ use. Anyone following Jovonn, Mike Huckaby, or Jon Cutler will find in “Next Moov #2” a tight collection that makes both the soul of classic New York house aesthetics and contemporary remix strategies clearly audible.

The "Voodoo Ray" 12" by A Guy Called Gerald is released on Juice Box Records and brings together two central pieces from Gerald's archive: on the A-side, the iconic "Voodoo Ray" finally returns to vinyl, while the B-side features "I Won't Give In" from 1990.

A Guy Called Gerald has shaped his career both as a founding member of 808 State and as a solo artist, and is regarded as one of the defining figures of the British electronic scene. His work ranges from early acid house successes to the groundbreaking Juice Box releases, and the later album "Black Secret Technology" is regularly cited as a milestone in the jungle/drum & bass sphere. Juice Box is also Gerald’s own label, closely tied to his Manchester sound system.

Musically, this 12" is exemplary of Gerald’s ability to create dense club moments with minimal means: the title track remains an early example of the acid house sound that connects the dance floor with darkness, while "I Won’t Give In" reveals the deeper, archival side of his work and underlines the continuity of his output. Both tracks stem from a creative period in which he was writing and producing pieces that explored the boundaries between genres.

The “If You Call My Name” 12-inch by LS Plus, released on Bar Part Time, presents the title track in several versions and combines foundational electronic elements with a tangible Balearic aesthetic. LS Plus brings together Izaak Schlossman, Anya Prisk, Phil Cho, Jeremy Castillo, and Diego Herrera; on the release, the tracks are credited to Izaak Schlossman, Jeremy Castillo, Phil Cho, and Anya Prisk as songwriters, with vocals by Anya Prisk, and saxophone and a remix contributed by Diego Herrera. With this, Bar Part Time relies on a collaborative ensemble that combines warm melodies and electronic textures.

The A-side features “If You Call My Name” and a “US Dub Mix” version created by Diego Herrera that highlights the dub-leaning aspects of the production; the B-side additionally includes “S.O.S.” and “H-Rhythm.” Musically, the 12-inch is characterized by sun-drenched layers of synths, understated rhythms, and selective brass arrangements that clearly frame the title as an airy take on contemporary electro aesthetics. For listeners who pay close attention to finely balanced forms of electronic pop, “If You Call My Name” on Bar Part Time offers a focused yet relaxed contribution.

Released on Savy, Matti Turunen’s “Rantaluhta” 12-inch marks the Finnish artist’s label debut. Known as one half of the electro duo Morphology, Turunen enjoys a cult following within the scene. With this seventh release, Savy Records presents a synth-heavy EP that ranges from driving bass patterns to soaring, euphoric-sounding rave moments, exploring the breadth of electronic production within electro.

Musically, “Rantaluhta” is built on machine-like precision and warm, modular textures. The tracks move between Detroit-oriented rhythms and more open, melodic passages, guiding the EP toward an energetic conclusion. On the B-side, veteran producer Carl Finlow contributes a remix under his Silicon Scally alias, transforming the track “Oleanterinkiitaja” into a trippy, galactic machine-funk framework and creating a contrasting counterpoint to the original version. The production deliberately focuses on analog synthesizers and structured drum sequences, making the release a concise representation of contemporary electro aesthetics. Matti Turunen’s “Rantaluhta” on Savy thus offers concrete, nuanced soundscapes both for fans of classic machine rhythms and for listeners seeking propulsive, danceable moments.

The "Bs22001" 12" by C.Ru.Z was released on 22recordings and brings together four tracks split between the A and B sides: A1 "D.A.N.C.E", A2 "Anything Can Happen", B1 "E‑Robots" and B2 "SCREAM". The physical format as a 12" emphasizes the club‑oriented use of the tracks and their direct connection to electronic dance music.

Musically, the release moves between dark electro aesthetics and techno‑leaning rhythms; clear references to synth‑heavy arrangements from the eighties meet contemporary low‑end foundations and striking percussion. The compositions work with layered textures, punctuated synth leads and recurring motifs, designed both for use in a DJ set and for focused listening.

On 22recordings, C.Ru.Z repeatedly appears as a defining figure within the catalog series, and here shapes a distinctive style that translates nighttime and urban experiences into electronic soundscapes. The connection to the label in Barcelona lends the releases a local grounding, while the sound remains international in its orientation.

What defines the tracks on this 12" are the dramatic tension arcs and high‑contrast dynamics: calm, almost cinematic passages flow into driving sections, while electronic interference sounds and restrained melodies create a dense atmosphere. Such characteristics make "Bs22001" a striking addition to the body of work of C.Ru.Z.

The “Ruimte Zat” 12-inch by Vesuvio Vortex with Seutek, released on Bordello A Parigi, documents an unusually direct collaboration. The Rotterdam-based production duo and DJ Seutek initially bonded over their love of records, long listening sessions, and spontaneous DJ sets at Seutek’s record store. One evening, Seutek performed his poem “Ruimte Zat” (“In Space There’s Space Enough”); his vocals were recorded that same night, and Vesuvio Vortex shaped the foundation of the record from that session. Bordello A Parigi releases this origin story as a 12-inch without unnecessary embellishment, placing a clear focus on the voice and arrangement.

Musically, “Ruimte Zat” weaves the spoken-word track into a melancholic, ’80s-inspired synth backdrop, with Vesuvio Vortex embedding Seutek’s voice as the central element. The result remains raw in tone yet atmospheric, blending nostalgia with a sense of floating optimism. On the B-side, HAAK. delivers an energetic remix that adds breakbeat impulses and euphoria, offering the single a dance-oriented counterpoint. With “Ruimte Zat,” Bordello A Parigi once again demonstrates its feel for sophisticated electronic releases that confidently unite narrative language and a club-oriented approach.

Released on Body 'N Deep, the 12" World Through My Eyes (Album Sampler) by Jeremias Santiago presents a targeted selection from the forthcoming album and functions as a compact introduction to the new work. On this edition, Jeremias Santiago brings together productions that move between deep house, disco, and soulful house, favoring warm grooves and melodic arrangements over obvious peak-time club bangers. The 12" highlights the producer’s versatility: dense basslines meet airy keys, percussive accents give the tracks drive, and soulful vocal parts or vocal snippets provide emotional depth.

As an album sampler, World Through My Eyes (Album Sampler) showcases Jeremias Santiago’s production craftsmanship while delivering focused listening snapshots from the broader context of the upcoming album. The selection on the 12" offers a direct sense of how elements from disco and soul are woven into contemporary, grooving house arrangements, without abandoning the clear foundation in an electronic club and dance context. For listeners looking for a compact entry point into Jeremias Santiago’s new material, this 12" on Body 'N Deep offers a concise overview and points toward the full album, which develops its thematic and stylistic motifs from here.

The compilation “Doors Of Deception Volume 1” has been released as a 12" on Unexposed and gathers distinctive contributions from across the electro spectrum. For the label’s first vinyl VA, Dream Architect, an alias of Colombian producer Buraye, contributes “Maze of The Null Sun,” a dark, intricate journey through atmospheric and claustrophobic soundscapes. With “Mad Things,” Shkedul delivers a track rooted in trance, acid and techno, driven by pulsing sequences and modular basslines. Unexposed deliberately juxtaposes the two cuts to highlight different production approaches within a compact 12" format.

Label head Jovi and Honduran producer Adrian Alessandro contribute a collaborative production with “Horror Film,” combining cinematic tension with shadowy synthesizers and restrained drum patterns. On the B-side, mastering engineer Dani Labb contributes a remix take on the track in the B2 slot, creating a distinct sonic focal point within the compilation. The tracklist remains lean and precise, allowing each cut to fully unfold its texture.

“Doors Of Deception Volume 1” on Unexposed unites refined sound design elements, edit-oriented arrangements and varying tempos. The release emphasizes production detail and offers a focused glimpse into the label’s current, electronically driven sound aesthetics.

The “San Francisco” 12-inch by Tasti Box, released on Must Be On Wax, brings one of the earliest documents of the Bay Area rave scene back to vinyl. The duo of Kelix Williams and Mouse blends house, techno, breakbeat, and psychedelic rave elements into a distinctive sound that made waves at free parties and major sound systems in San Francisco in the early ’90s. The reissue is presented as a limited edition, bringing this early document of the West Coast scene back into the spotlight.

Musically, the 12-inch includes the title track “San Francisco,” as well as “Energy” and two versions of “Eros,” one of which is a remix by Luca Lozano that adds new accents and gives the material a contemporary remix character. The selection showcases both the dreamy, melodic moments of the original recordings and the harder, acid-driven blasts that give the release its historical significance. For fans of early rave and acid house architecture, the release offers a direct connection to the club and sound system culture of the era while adding a rare Tasti Box release, once again available on vinyl, to the artist’s discography.

Released on Dub Techno For Life, the “Rhythm From Ambient” 12" by Sa Pa is the label’s second outing and connects directly to the “Girls On Tour” EP. The record features four experimentally inclined house and dub techno tracks with which Sa Pa uses the newly founded label as a platform for his broader sound work. The A-side opens with the ten-minute title track, built on undulating, swampy grooves, massive dub weight and scattered, gravelly percussion. Also on the A-side is the complementary track “Rhythm,” which brings a rougher, more industrial energy into play and serves as a reconstruction of a track originally intended for the MDR EP (2015).

On the B-side you’ll find “Last Dance,” an extended, deep house–inspired “ballroom dub” that blends atmosphere, groove, and slowly blossoming euphoria. Closing things out is “Bo Riddim,” a slower, experimental piece with deep sub-bass, heavy drums, and a relaxed percussive undercurrent, above which fragmentary melodies and textural experiments hover. With this 12", Sa Pa broadens the spectrum of Dub Techno For Life: the production operates at the intersection of electro, deep house, and dub techno and showcases the artist’s confident, experimental direction, which the label is likely to pursue further in future releases.

The “Papua New Guinea” 12-inch by The Future Sound of London is released on Jumpin & Pumpin and brings together the track’s well-known club mixes on a compact vinyl edition. This 12-inch features several versions of the track, including the expansive “Papua New Guinea (Andrew Weatherall Remix)” and the shorter “Papua New Guinea (Graham Massey Mix),” both of which transform the original song into distinct DJ-oriented spaces. Stylistically, the release is aimed at fans of electronic soundscapes and uses the flexible arrangements of the remixes to clearly differentiate the individual versions.

Musically, “Papua New Guinea” is built around distinctive samples: Lisa Gerrard’s voice and a notable bass line from Meat Beat Manifesto serve as recurring reference points that Cobain and Dougans reconnect within the arrangement. On the 12-inch, the Andrew Weatherall version and Graham Massey’s mix demonstrate how versatile the source material can be; the longer remix provides room for extended transitions and DJ use, while the more compact mix places its accented motifs and editing in the spotlight. For collectors and DJs, the Jumpin & Pumpin edition of “Papua New Guinea” remains a documented record of the early remixes of a track that shaped the electronic scene of the early 1990s.

The compilation “DJax-Up-Beats 1990–2005: Volume 2 - The NL Connection” is being released on Delsin and continues the curated exploration of the legacy of Dutch label Djax-Up-Beats by Christiaan Macdonald. The project presents a main album as a triple LP plus three additional 12" EPs and comprises 25 tracks that provide a focused look at the earliest steps of the Dutch techno scene. The selection highlights early work by pioneers such as Stefan Robbers as Terrace, Dylan Hermelijn as Planet Gong, Edge Of Motion (with Gert-Jan Schonewille), and Sander Friedeman as Random XS.

Visually and editorially, Delsin once again turns to regular collaborators: new illustrations by Alan Oldham, design by Lost Communication, and explanatory liner notes by Oli Warwick round out the collection. Sonically, all tracks have been remastered by Johanz Westerman to bring out the often somewhat under-served original pressings with greater clarity. Musically, the spectrum ranges from sensitive, melodic machine soundscapes to gritty, acid-driven workouts, hard-hitting techno, and eccentric outliers; “The NL Connection” thus documents both early experiments and early club slammers from the Netherlands, completing Delsin’s series on the history of Djax-Up-Beats.

Curses relies on the interplay of synthesizers and voices, electronic drums and guitars; emotion is at the center, not genre labels. His fascination with the era when humans discovered the machine as a collaborator shapes the arrangements, which combine nostalgic references with a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.

On the EP, this approach comes through in richly detailed, ever-evolving tracks: the title track “Perfect High” works with detuned, chorus-heavy leads; “Weapon Of Time” thrives on ticking, precise percussion; “Dare To Dream” makes use of ominous choirs; “Killer Instinct” introduces proto rolling-and-scratching sounds. Virtuosity is subordinated to form, the flow remains intact; the rhythmic framework is built from triggered R-50 gates, set against Curses’s own vocals and a stock of unusual samples for contrast.

As the closing piece, “Blasted,” featuring a guest appearance by Andi, delivers a synth-driven groove whose sheen and sensuality evoke patent leather, underscoring the EP as a coherent finale to ALT028. Overall, the “Perfect High EP” presents a precise distillation of club music, distinguished by pop-leaning hooks and a stringent forward momentum.

The "Obscure Umami EP" 12" by Ulysses is being released on D.A.M.N and brings together four previously unreleased tracks from the producer’s archives that date back to the heyday of electroclash. After the successful reissue of his debut, the label looked into the vault and unearthed four character-strong productions that are now being documented on vinyl for the first time. The edition is limited to 200 copies.

Ulysses has been active as a DJ since the early nineties and has played a major role in shaping the New York electro scene; his work moves between raw club elements and carefully arranged electronic pieces. Characteristic of his style are striking synth arrangements, modular-sounding basslines, and a sonic range that runs from minimal club grooves to melodic, almost pop-like moments. This breadth also comes through in the newly unearthed archive tracks.

Musically, the titles collected on this 12" — "Disco Days," "Capn Hook," "Middle," and "Fly" — offer a cross-section of Ulysses’ production style: from driving electro powered by analog synths to calmer, detail-oriented arrangements. The EP serves as a historical snapshot that brings out both the producer’s versatility and his unmistakable character in handling retro elements and modern production techniques.

Over the past three decades, Philipp Lauer has produced an incredible body of work, deploying a myriad of aliases, both as a solo artist and as a part of collaborative projects. From his hardware-steeped Frankfurt studio Pyramide 2, he has built this catalogue through original material and remix commissions, taking on the full spectrum of electronic music while retaining an unmistakable signature. He combines a hands-on approach to rhythm and composition with a DIY MO and a love of big hooks. The level of expertise seems to facilitate a playfulness that subtly permeates all layers of his work. He's a pop melody natural who just so happens to love fiddling with synthesizers, drum machines, and effects an equal amount.

All of these qualities are exemplified on "Embalmed In Martino": Lauer's four-track ode to the Belgian Martino sauce, a spicy tomato-based condiment, and arguably the essential ingredient to top off the namesake raw meat sandwich. On "Embalmed", which makes use of instrumentation that would fit right in on an early eighties Manchester cut, and "Martino", where a sturdy, electroclash flavored arp bass provides the stamina, a slew of big and small riffs easily work their way in, thirsting for our ears. On the other side, "Transactional" combines Miami basslines and similarly electro-fundamental twinkling synth work with a flanger-laced 4/4 beat, while "Don't You Know" features soaring synthwave patterns and the only vocal samples on the EP. Both sport rich arrangements as well, right down to the cowbell overdubs.

Lauer's often lauded for his "summery sound". In this light ALT026 lands right on time - yet we might disagree here, as it's suited for all seasons, and all terrains, both the shiny festival grounds and the dim-lit club floors.

The Static Collector EP 12" by Harry, released on High Altitude, marks the label’s third catalog entry and once again brings the Australian-born, Berlin-based producer to the center of the small but defining vinyl program. With this release, High Altitude continues to develop its label profile and presents Harry’s contribution as a standalone 12" that further explores the relationship between producer and imprint.

Musically, the Static Collector EP comprises four tracks, including the cuts listed in the announcement, “It’s Not Working” and “Paranormal Activities,” which, together with “French Inspection” and “Who Are You,” form the set and clearly underscore the electro focus of the record. The production puts emphasis on precise arrangements and compositional clarity, as suggested by the track titles themselves, without resorting to artificial genre expansions. For collectors and DJs, this 12" on High Altitude delivers a concise contribution to the contemporary electro scene and continues the label’s series with Harry’s third release on the imprint.

After another acid-tinged EP to hit clubs from Akio Nagase, Especial travels back across the globe, unearthing and presenting Jonne Lydén aka 53X with bass heavy, widescreen, trance zeitgeist steppas for the future. Born and raised in southern Finland, his musical journey started in his early teenage years as a singer in a hardcore punk band. An interest in making music independently flourished and he progressed to making his own tracks. After a mind expanding, exploratory visit to Berlin, Jonne got submerged in techno and started buying synths and drum machines. His first EP was released under the alias J. Lydén. Appearing on Marko Laine’s experimental label Mind Records and fellow Finnish label black. Records. Showcasing Detroit and industrial scale techno that were aimed squarely at main room Berghain. Exhilarating, fully charged, his musical journey continued however, slowing the tempo but keeping the breadth, while exploring psychedelics, Lydén began to develop his interest in trance, evolving from hypnotic techno toward slower and trippier style. Live jamming and sketching with hardware synths and drum machines play a major role. The analogue jack of Solitude opens with throbbing acid 303 over a heavy 4/4 kick, shouted invocations and psychedelic swirls, the relentless nature of the build rising to a new terrestrial reality. A template of cerebral originality. Enlightened, Zen ’23 follows, slowing matter – acid, breakbeat, sirens calling, pull you in. The simplicity in the electronic message, looping, the universe pulling and expanding simultaneously in the mind. Crow Dub keeps the tempo, an ominous 4/4 dub of synthetic modulations, atmospherics transport to some multi-dimensional Anjuna wormhole. Finally, Eagle Flight brings calmer sounds. The debut’s fruition – returning to the source – gliding beyond the Eye of Shiva, flute guides the way back to land. 53X’s genius can be heard in these collages of sound. Hypnotic landscapes of ecstatic rhythms, a “proto-Goa” fantasy of reincarnation and birth for 2023. .

The "Comply" 12" by Comply is released on Klasse Wrecks and brings together the debut of the project of the same name, consisting of Onirik and JJ Martinez. This four-track release deliberately taps into historical currents and positions itself as a clear statement amid today’s dystopian-surreal moods.

Musically, the record moves at the intersection of EBM, dark acid, and hazy rave aesthetics: rough basslines, tight sequencer rhythms, and distorted textures alternate with foggy synth layers. The arrangements remain focused and purposeful, dispensing with unnecessary ballast in favor of concise motifs that unfold their impact in a club context. Voices and samples are used sparingly, reinforcing the ominous, floating character of the tracks.

As a label release, the "Comply" 12" is a striking debut that bears the imprint of the environment it emerged from while at the same time revealing an ambition to recombine older sonic traditions. The lean selection of tracks turns the record into a focused statement, conceived both for use in DJ sets and for intense, attentive listening.

Throughout history man has made and used music for two distinct and separate purposes. In recent years, particularly since the advent of sound recording, the most popular use of music has been for entertainment - the temporary amusement and distraction of as large a number as possible. As a consequence, many people tend to overlook its more fundamental and ancient use as a tool for affecting man's body and spirit. The many varieties of religious music from around the world contain a vast quantity of clues to the way in which sound can affect the physical and mental state of the serious listener, yet many find their associations with religion itself too difficult a stigma to overlook in their appreciation of the sound and its potential, for its own sake.

On this record, hopefully the first in a series, we have tried to produce sound which has a real, practical and beneficial power in this modern Era. Specifically, it is intended as an accumulator of male sexual energy. Although we make neither claims nor rules for its use, we do suggest that for maximum potency it should only be played in circumstances that exclusively male and/or onanistic in nature. What these are is entirely up to you.

The execution of the piece was structured around concepts we felt would work for us - in this case magickal and numerological rather than conventionally musical in form. One image or symbol which we drew upon that may be useful to bear in mind is that of Mars, often indicated by the male symbol.

Should this music have any power, over and above the banal and transitory titillation achieved by most records available now, it is a positive and beneficial power to be used and controlled by the listener, as he desires.

The LP "The Black Sea" by Bot1500 is released on Short Span and leads Shinichi Koboyashi’s project into an intimate, stripped-down sound world. Following the most recent release "Surreal" on Lith Dolina, this album turns even further inward: it stretches out pauses, emphasizes silence, and lets individual motifs breathe more clearly without diluting the producer’s characteristic signature.

Bot1500 combines ambient IDM with artfully arranged pad textures and warm chords shot through with precise breakbeats; the balance between electronic detail work and emotional restraint is a defining trait of the sound. The compositions show an affinity with the logic of dub: more space, targeted echo effects, snare details, and a sparse yet radiant sense of melody shape the sonic image. Koboyashi applies this approach consistently in his productions, giving the music a distinctive, almost cinematic quality.

Thematically, the sea serves as a double metaphor: on the one hand as an inner emotional space, on the other as a geographic motif — a dark, humid summer night on the Japanese coast, a small boat drifting without direction. Musically, the record remains rhythmically focused — most tracks are written at 140 bpm, while the closing "White Flocks" drops the tempo to 120 and brings this southbound journey to an atmospheric close.

The "Love Comes Thru" LP by Teal is released on Spiritual World and marks the trio’s nine-track debut album. On this record, Teal further develops the sonic spaces they had previously hinted at, connecting downtempo trip-pop with elements of street soul, dub, and experimental grooves without losing the calm at the center of the pieces.

The album unfolds through varied arrangements: from the lush synth landscapes of "Aries Moon" to the footwork-inspired dynamics of "Time Is Blind." Singles like "Kissing in a Dream" and the title track take a left-field, soulful direction, while stripped-back, 808-driven cuts such as "Change Your Mind" and "Anomaly" demonstrate the impact of restraint. Interspersed instrumental passages build on ambient improvisation and add percussive accents courtesy of Brandon Valdivia (Mas Aya / Lido Pimienta).

"Love Comes Thru" was written over the course of a year in a bi-coastal collaboration and reads as a reflection on the quiet power of love, patience, and closeness. Spiritual World presents the album in a deluxe concept: matte, double-embossed sleeve with printed inner sleeve. The LP is also available digitally; physical and digital distribution begins on October 2, 2026 via selected partners.

2LP 2026 RECUT RE Edition

Pont Neuf regular Tour-Maubourg is undoubtedly an artist on the rise. There are gems aplenty in his back catalogue, which supplements dusty, jazz-flecked deep house with blazed electronica and hazy downtempo gems. 'Spaces of Silence', his second album, is exceptionally strong, too, with the French producer sashaying between immersive ambient ('Intro'), organic, loose-limbed deep jazz-house (the fabulous 'Just Believe'), head-nodding instrumental hip-hop ('Why (Life)'), sun-splashed warm-up shufflers ('I Never Will'), nostalgic New Jersey style deep house ('Paradise'), horizontal electronica ('L'Hiver'), deep space workouts (the deep house goes ambient techno haze of 'Solaced') and nods towards the vintage early works of St Germain ('You (feat Ismael Ndir)'). Impeccable.

The Wavelengths 2 12-inch by Sub Basics, released on Animalia, presents the second chapter of an ongoing series and picks up directly where its predecessor Wavelengths left off. Sub Basics extends his distinctive sonic signature: dubby takes on UK techno, dubstep and tech house provide the framework, while prismatic percussion loops and spacey pads weave the tracks into organically rolling entities. The bass work that is typical of the artist meets restrained yet insistent arrangements that set clear reference points in terms of groove and spatial impact without falling into predictable patterns.

With Wavelengths 2, Animalia draws on its close collaboration with its alumni and integrates Sub Basics’ tracks seamlessly into the label’s universe. This release underscores their shared understanding of quality: psychedelic, grooving and cross‑genre elements take center stage and make the 12" work reliably both in the club context and as part of more expansive DJ sets. Sub Basics’ rolling tunes and Animalia’s undefinable aesthetic converge here, showing how familiar textures can be translated into new forms. Overall, Wavelengths 2 is a coherent continuation that sharpens Sub Basics’ characteristic sound while consistently carrying forward Animalia’s curatorial line.

The “Doce Coelhinha Wun Uv U” 7" by Monkz is released on G.A.M.M. and presents two contrasting yet closely related cuts that link electronic production aesthetics with dance rhythms. The 7" clearly focuses on groove-oriented arrangements and demonstrates Monkz’s feel for immediate club dynamics in an electro context.

On the A-side, “Doce Coelhinha” draws on Brazilian impulses: samba-style percussion meets raw baile funk vocals and retro electronic synth motifs, resulting in a driving, slightly gritty dance track that oscillates between organic rhythms and ’80s electro textures. The production employs distinctive breaks and a clear four-to-the-floor focus, allowing melodic elements and rhythmic momentum to complement each other.

The B-side, “Wun Uv U,” shifts the energy into darker club territory; here, an old-school Chicago house groove dominates, carried by striking hip-hop vocals pushed clearly to the front. The track relies on stripped-back harmonies, punchy kick drums, and an immediate, almost live-sounding vocal performance that lends the song a raw, down-to-earth intensity.

Taken together, the “Doce Coelhinha Wun Uv U” 7" showcases Monkz’s ability to fuse Latin American rhythms and classic house aesthetics into a compact, danceable statement.

The “Goce Reworks Vol 1” 7" by DJ Goce is released on G.A.M.M. and brings together two striking reworks that shine a light on the sampling tradition of urban beats. On the A-side, DJ Goce presents “Escapin' This Fugue,” a rendition that picks up on a classic Beatnuts theme and transforms the original sample into a dense, driving arrangement. The B-side, “Stay Trippin' In Harlem,” focuses on a rarely reissued groove source by Al Hirt, whose sampling history gains extra depth through well-known hip-hop references. The 7" format emphasizes a single-oriented approach and allows DJ Goce to deliver focused, DJ-ready reworks that hold their own both in sets and in curated listening contexts.

DJ Goce draws on many years of experience as a collector and selector; his work connects hip-hop roots with funky and soulful elements, which shapes the selection and treatment of the source material. The production on “Goce Reworks Vol 1” puts the emphasis on rhythmic clarity and sample-based arrangements, while the editing technique repositions prominent hooks and breaks. For fans of carefully constructed reworks, the 7" released on G.A.M.M. offers a compact insight into DJ Goce's curatorial instinct and his ability to translate familiar motifs into fresh, dance-oriented forms.

Tracks such as “Black Chamber Order,” “Bass Mantra,” and the title track “High Rise Choir Reprise” emerge as distinctive, repetition-driven pieces that shift between hypnotic minimalism and industrially inflected soundscapes. The 12" “Jamorgini” by Extrawelt, released on Turbo, delivers four precisely arranged tracks that connect electronic textures with danceable structures. On this record, Extrawelt explore a spectrum guided less by typical club posturing than by a mature, contemplative sonic aesthetic; the release takes up the distinction the band themselves describe between conventional club vibes and an “adult” perspective, without lapsing into mere decoration.

The vinyl side features the tracks “Between Two Days,” “Burned Filters,” “How Much Is The Quiche?” and “Tomorrow’s Event”; as a digital addition, three exclusive tracks are included, among them “Bleep State” as well as alternative versions of “Between Two Days” and “How Much Is The Quiche?”. The compositions work with clear rhythmic patterns, carefully crafted filter progressions, and a keen sense of spatial detail, allowing the EP to strike a balance between technically precise production and atmospheric density.

With “Jamorgini,” Extrawelt add another key release to the Turbo catalog and are already receiving support from the DJ community; the record has attracted attention from several peers in the scene. The combination of clean, uncluttered production and programmatic experimental drive makes this 12" a distinctive statement within current strains of electro.

Musically, Space Cat moves between characteristic trance rhythms, expansive ambient textures, and elements of psy‑chill; the arrangements range from hypnotic sequences to melodic breaks, underscoring the breadth of the eleven pieces. Tracks like “Karraveth,” “LSD/PCP,” and the extended version of “Sine Two” showcase a spectrum that runs from driving cuts to extended, atmospheric passages.

The release slots into Space Cat’s documented discography and is listed in databases and compilation catalogs as a defining document of the mid‑’90s scene; Rezpektiva’s new edition thus offers both collectors and listeners a reliable point of access to this chapter of electronic music.
