Before becoming Foesum, the group performed under the name Perfection, during which time they collaborated with a then-unknown Snoop Dogg, who hailed from the same hometown. Their 1996 debut album Perfection, released under the name Foesum, is still regarded as a classic among fans. With a career spanning over 30 years, the group has consistently released high-quality music at their own pace, maintaining strong popularity not only in the U.S. but also in Europe and Asia. However, in 2024, tragedy struck when one of the group’s core rappers, T-Dubb, passed away unexpectedly. Fans around the world quietly waited to see what the future would hold.

Nujabes, who passed away in a car accident in Feb 2010, mainly released vinyl singles. This 'Metaphorical Music' was his first album in which he put much effort to complete. Twit One is from Cologne and a true universal artist: producer, DJ, curator and record store-owner are some of the many hats Twit is wearing. Turt is one half of South London duo Summers Sons (the other half is his brother Slim) and best friend with C.Tappin with whom he and Slim form the Lightworks crew. After a long hiatus, Tokyo-based french producer Dela comes back with Électrique, a new project paying tribute to hip-hop legends André 3000 and Big Boi, known together as OutKast. This new 7inch record includes three tracks of Électrique : Yosky Wosky Pisky Wisky, Dimanche Matin, and the bonus track Cergy. Known for his laid-back, jazz influenced, dreamy rap instrumentals, Dela introduced his music to the world with his Atmosphere Airlines mixtapes and his albums Changes Of Atmosphere (2008) and
Translation Lost (2011). A student of Q-Tip, Pete Rock and J-Dilla amongst others, Dela’s work foreshadowed today’s increasively popular lofi hip-hop / chillhop movement. Side A features Yosky Wosky Pisky Wisky, a remix of Stankonia’s classic Humble Mumble,
featuring Eykah Badu. Dela changes the mood of the original track, mixing samples and live instrumentation together to turn a salsa-breakbeat groove into a melody infused otherworldly superfunk. On side B, Dela remixes Sole Sunday, a Goodie Mob featuring Outkast track, edited to feature only the two ATLiens and renamed Dimanche Matin. The beat is reminiscent of his early work, layering boom bap drums over a haunting saxophone melody. Also on side B, the bonus cut Cergy turns a Brazilian MPB sample into an ode to Dela’s hometown with the help of live drums, bass, electric keyboards and a few of his friends singing.

Mundian To Bach Ke" is a bhangra track produced by British musician Panjabi MC, featuring vocals and lyrics by Punjabi artist Labh Janjua. Originally recorded in Birmingham, England, for Panjabi MC's 1998 album Legalised, the song gained international acclaim upon its re-release as a single in November 2002.

The track is notable for its fusion of traditional bhangra elements with contemporary hip-hop influences. It incorporates the bassline and beat from Busta Rhymes' 1997 song "Fire It Up," which itself samples the theme from the television series Knight Rider, composed by Glen A. Larson and Stu Phillips. The lyrics, delivered in Punjabi, caution young women to be wary of the intentions of young men.

February 26, 2020, 10 years after the passing of musician Nujabes. Even though a long time has passed, the number of listeners around the world who desire the music of Nujabes continues to grow. During this turbulent world, Nujabes' label, Hydeout Productions, which is still in charge of the band, asked Haruka Nakamura to make a tribute album to mark the 10-year anniversary of his death, saying, 'I want you to move forward 10 years as time stands still. ' The music video and 7-inch vinyl of 'Reflection Eternal' were released. As the culmination of this project, the album 'Nujabes PRAY Reflections' has been finally released. The beautiful melodies spun by Nujabes are interpreted in a new way by Haruka Nakamura on piano and guitar. The fusion of the two musicians' music has sublimated the work to a new horizon.
