The blue vinyl edition of the “Stampede / Teenage Heaven” 7" by the Stray Cats was released on Surfdog and pairs the new original composition “Stampede” with a distinct version of Eddie Cochran and Jerry Capehart’s “Teenage Heaven.” Issued on October 24, 2025, it marks the band’s first new recordings in roughly six years.

Both tracks were recorded at The Terrarium (Minneapolis) and Laguna Sound (Laguna Beach); production was handled by the Stray Cats themselves, with mixing by Chris Lord‑Alge. Musically, “Stampede” relies on driving, rhythmic accents: a Bo Diddley–style tom-tom groove that shifts into a swinging basic feel and is carried by clean guitar lines. “Teenage Heaven” stays true to the original while the three-piece sound of Brian Setzer (guitar, vocals), Lee Rocker (upright bass, vocals), and Slim Jim Phantom (drums, vocals) gives it a characteristic Stray Cats flavor.

In the press release, “Stampede” is credited as a song by Brian Setzer, Peter B. Antonio, Wally Zober, and Bert Salmirs; “Teenage Heaven” credits songwriters Eddie Cochran and Jerry Capehart. The 7" pressed on blue vinyl presents the two tracks prominently on the A and B side and adds a solid collectible to the band’s current chapter.

THEODOR is a psychedelic sweet soul band formed by members with diverse musical backgrounds.
Whilst on a road trip to Italy Rob and Lui were listening to tapes of contemporary soul music. The idea was born to record an album channeling a moody and relaxed soundscape. „Right after our trip we called up our good friends Max and Greg, who were immediately on board. The "Pop Go The Beatles June 1st 1963" 7" by The Beatles was released in the 1960s and documents a live recording from the BBC radio show "Pop Go the Beatles" from early summer 1963. The short, focused running time of the 7" captures selections from a phase in which the band was transitioning between cover versions and their first original compositions and solidifying their stage presence.

The show "Pop Go the Beatles" aired weekly in 1963 and gave the Beatles room for conversation and performances; the episodes from this period contain numerous rarities and previously unreleased live performances, including rock and roll covers as well as early versions of their own songs. The documented takes are characterized by tight arrangements and an immediate dynamism, as is characteristic of the BBC sessions of those years.

Style-wise, the band in this phase features prominent rhythm guitar, tightly guided harmony parts, and a driving backbeat, traits that define the early Beatles sound. Their take on well-known rock and roll numbers alongside their own contributions simultaneously demonstrates craftsmanship and the emerging Lennon/McCartney signature.

As a 7", this release captures that historical moment in compressed form and offers a clear sonic snapshot of the band shortly before their international breakthrough. The takes presented here document the raw, immediate sound of a quartet in transition from cover band to pioneering songwriting ensemble.

The picture disc edition of the “Too Outlaw For Outlaw Country” 10" by Nine Pound Hammer, released on Reptilian, brings together six songs, including four new compositions and two cover versions, and is being issued in a limited run of 300 copies. The release will appear digitally at the same time and is planned as a strictly limited picture disc.

Musically, the record ties in with the band’s characteristic cowpunk aesthetic: ragged guitars, driving rhythms, and rough vocals fuse punk attitude with classic country motifs. Founded in Owensboro, Kentucky, Nine Pound Hammer repeatedly let traditional twang elements seep into the arrhythmic energy of their riffs, creating a direct, down-to-earth sound that has defined the band since the late ’80s.

Production took place at Underground Studios; Brian Pulito served as engineer and as mixing and mastering technician and is credited as producer together with the band. Guest contributions, such as fiddle, pedal steel, and additional vocals, complement the core lineup and emphasize the country-tinged nuances of the arrangements.

The selection of tracks ranges from the programmatic opener “Too Outlaw For Outlaw Country” and the rough-edged “Burn The Whole World Down” to the covers “Black Rose” and “Lil’ Ol’ Wine Drinker Me,” which pick up the tradition lines of the outlaw repertoire and channel them into the band’s gritty, direct style.

“Rockinnreelininaucklandnewzealandxxx” by The Cramps documents one of the band’s legendary live nights and is issued on LP; the recording comes from a concert at The Galaxy in Auckland, New Zealand, that took place on August 30, 1986. This release captures the unfiltered energy of the performance and transfers the immediate interplay of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums directly onto the medium.

Characteristic of The Cramps is the blend of garage rock and psychobilly, expressed in driving guitar riffs, lean arrangements, and the theatrical vocals of Lux Interior. Poison Ivy’s distinctive guitar lines create a jagged yet richly retro sound, while Candy Del Mar and Nick Knox provide a sharply defined rhythmic foundation. The track selection draws heavily on material from the album “A Date with Elvis,” reflecting the band’s creative period at the time; the live recordings were also mixed by Greg Heiter.

In 2013, Ace Records issued a re-release of this 11-track set on its Big Beat imprint as red vinyl; this pressing is now available again and represents the official, commemorative version of the original live document. The clean live mix and the classic lineup make the LP an important document in the work of The Cramps.

Has it really been 13 years since Dirty Fences released their first album TOO High TO Kross? Probably. We started counting and ran outta fingers.

Still NYC’s favorite ‘Rock’n’roll, Hard workin’ band,’ the Fences—as their friends call ‘em—haven’t veered far from the path they first forged here. Maxed out, always tuneful heaters, intended for cranking at top volume, and perfect for howling along to in whatever damn key you please!

Nowadays it’s hard to imagine a DF show without “All I Want,” “Heaven Is Tonight,” “Under Your Leather,” or “White Lies” in the boy’s hit-factory repertoire. Each and every one of these 13 tracks is bound to get stuck in-between your ears for days, then years to come.

Meanwhile the band’s second and third full lengths, along with heaps of singles, furthered their sonic blitz, slyly as Ramones’ heir apparent, Bee Gees meets CBGBs rebel rousers, The Freshies’ worthy rival from the Big Apple — or, all of the above?!

Recorded over two weeks at High/Low Recording in Memphis, Tennessee by Toby Vest, Too High To Kross quickly sold out, as the band toured up a storm. At the time nobody knew the album would spell THE E-n-d for Volcom Entertainment, who went bankrupt shortly after its one and only vinyl pressing. It’s remained out of print ever since. Until now.

For years, aftermarket copies have been scarce and prohibitively pricey, and a proper reissue has been long overdue. After working with members’ other projects (Hershguy and Brower), Dig! Records is thrilled to give this adored album a home, complete with bodacious new artwork designed by Mean Jeans’ Christian Blunda, ahead of Dirty Fences’ all-new studio album later this fall!

Released on Uprising, the “Red Hot Car / Agent 007 Dance” 7" split release by Bobby Verne / Buddy Wayne brings together two historic, dance‑oriented rarities on a single record. “Red Hot Car” is a sax‑driven rockabilly blast that came out in 1962 on the small California Doc Holiday label and is considered the only recording by Bobby Verne; apparently only a small number were pressed, which has made the original a sought‑after rarity.

The flip side features Buddy Wayne’s “Agent 007 Dance,” on which, in 1965, he added his own lyrics to Gary Paxton’s James Bond version. The single was released on the short‑lived Big Ben label and went unnoticed for decades, until rockabilly circles discovered the track as a perfect stomper; shortly afterward Northern Soul and Mod DJs picked it up, allowing it to slowly reach a wider audience.

As a curated pairing on a 7", the Uprising edition does justice to both tracks: it combines raw rockabilly drive with a retro‑groovy dance number and brings both cuts back to the dance floor. In this way, the release offers a compact, stylistically focused selection of early dance culture that can appeal to collectors and new listeners alike.

The recordings originate from California (1966) and were written by Doug Wareham; production was handled by Billy Cardenas, a name that appears in connection with several Southern California projects of the period. The instrumentation leans on driving guitars and distinctive organ lines, giving the tracks their urgent character. Contemporary sources and collectors’ catalogs clearly place the record within the local teen band scene.

Sonically, the material is defined above all by the Farfisa organ and fast drums, which is why both sides still work on dance floors and in club sets as danceable, high-energy nuggets. The original pressing is considered rare; promo copies command correspondingly high prices, making the release a coveted relic of the garage era. According to reports, disputes between the band, producer, and label shortly after the release led to the group’s demise, leaving the 7" as the only standalone document of The No-Na-Mees.

The ensuing album, “Future”, seemed at once both calculated and confused. For some, it represents the Seeds’ grand psychedelic statement, a mind-blowing articulation of the flower power movement of which they had been proclaimed torchbearers. To others, “Future” is Sky Saxon’s folly: an over-egged, acid-damaged pudding that submerged the true power of the band with meaningless grandeur. The truth lies somewhere between. A narcissistic over-confidence made Sky feel the need to now augment Daryl, Jan and Rick in the studio with numerous overdubs – strings, harp, tuba – on hastily cobbled material that brimmed with bizarre lyrical concepts. On certain tracks the combination worked fine, on others it seemed almost like a parody of psychedelia. Shaghayegh was an Iranian rock band that emerged in the mid-1960s. Punk rock was all the rage in 1977, but that didn’t bother the Count Bishops: five unashamedly blokes, emerging from the bars and clubs of London, with a solid rock’n’rollin’ sound that some thought retrograde and others timeless. At the very least, they could claim to be the finest Polish, Australian, American, English band in town.

This was the debut of singer Dave Tice, who joined the original line-up of Zennon De Fleur (rhythm guitar and haulage), Johnny Guitar (guitar), Steve Lewins (bass) and Paul Balbi on drums. As tight a unit as you could wish for, they produced a driving, raucous rhythm and blues.

The LP is a mix of originals, blues tunes and classic 60s covers, all played with plenty of meat on the bone. Julian Holland is credited as piano on ‘Down The Road Apiece’, and I wonder whatever happened to him. Vic Maile, one of the country’s finest engineers, pushed faders and worked magic on the audio. Two originals, ‘Baby You’re Wrong’ / ‘Stay Free’ became the single off the album and the band hit the road with Motörhead. If you remember being on that tour, you weren’t.

It’s a record that has stood the test of time, when some of their punkier contemporaries now sound of their time.

The sleeve of the first issue was printed on the reverse of the board, giving it a suitable gritty, rough-cut look that we have reproduced here as best possible 45 years later. The blurred photograph on the front lends them an air of menace, a bunch of long hairs in a time of short cuts.

They went on to one more studio album before Zenon died as a result of a crash in his Aston Martin, which he had lovingly restored. The four remaining members reformed in 2005 for the Ace 30th anniversary party at Dingwalls Dancehall in Camden Town and they still rocked the house.

The tracks from the group’s two 1984 EPs together on a swanky 10-inch vinyl LP. Inner bag features liner notes by Kris Needs incorporating new interviews with all three Delmonas and a series of great photos by Eugene Doyen.

Sarah Crouch, Hilary Wilkins and Louise Baker started singing together as a unique spark of spontaneous magic inextricably linked to their boyfriends in the Milkshakes, then rocking a garage-punk antidote to shiny synth-pop and brash chart stars with a direct lifeline back to rock’n’roll’s original simplicity and wildness. After Billy Childish and Bruce Brand formed the Pop Rivets in 1978, the guys hooked up with Micky Hampshire and Russell Wilkins to found the Milkshakes. Sarah shared a student house with boyfriend Micky plus Billy. After she and Hilary, then dating Russell, sang backing vocals on the Milkshakes’ rollicking Beatles-translated take on the Shirelles’ ‘Boys’, Louise’s arrival turned them into a girl group pretty much by accident.

“I loved the music the Milkshakes were playing,” Louise recalls. “Loved the small, intimate venues and most of the bands that played with them, especially the Prisoners. I’d gone with the Milkshakes to Belgium and was somehow persuaded to get up on stage and sing something. Next thing I knew, there was some kind of plan to get the three of us in the studio.” At first the three girls were called the Milk-boilers, renaming themselves the Delmonas by the time Ace Records’ Roger Armstrong and Ted Carroll suggested recording the EPs that furnish this collection. “I think we were asked to each think of three songs and turn up,” says Louise. “I mostly listened to music from the 60s: lots of girl groups, Irma Thomas, Dusty Springfield, Bo Diddley, Velvet Underground, Kinks. Bruce had the best record collection; Mel Tormé was in there somewhere and one of my faves. Sarah came up with doing the Doors cover.”

‘Comin’ Home Baby’ was written as an instrumental before Bob Dorough added lyrics and Mel Tormé recorded it in 1962. The Delmonas’ finger-clicking, noir-dynamic version kicked off their first EP with authentic-sounding 60s production resonance, iced with mysterioso organ. The Cookies scored a hit with Goffin & King’s ‘Chains’ in 1962, the Beatles’ version providing the Hamburg Star-Club template for the Delmonas’ energised rendition. The first EP, “The Delmonas Volume 1”, rounded off with two songs from the Childish-Hampshire songwriting partnership: ‘Woa’ Now’ and ‘He Tells Me He Loves Me’, the latter recalling the New York Dolls covering the Shangri-Las’ ‘Give Him A Great Big Kiss’, mainly because it has similar chords.

“The Delmonas Volume 2” opened with Sarah’s idea of covering the Doors’ hit. “We thought, ‘How would the Kinks have played it?’” she affirms. ‘Hello, I Love You’ had got the Doors into hot water with the Kinks’ publishers for its resemblance to ‘All Day And All Of The Night’. The Delmonas home in and highlight that similarity, adding bonkers psychedelic drop and evocative new coda. Their surf-tinged version of the Milkshakes’ ‘I’m The One For You’ is followed by the swampy screaming of ‘Peter Gunn Locomotion’, a cover of a 1963 single by Freddie Starr in his pre-stand-up comedian days as singer with the Midnighters. The set closed with the sultry organ-led vamp of the Milkshakes’ ‘I Want You’, the nearest the Delmonas get to the slowies Sarah helpfully points out they referred to as “shag songs”.

All these tracks would re-appear on their “Dangerous Charms” album, along with out-takes and recordings from a BBC session, before the original trio splintered, leaving Sarah and Hilary to return for further adventures as Ludella Black and Ida Red. The eight tracks here capture a moment when three fun-loving friends got to live out some musical fantasies and had a blast doing it. 37 years later, it sounds just as contagious.

During the King's artistically unproductive period of military service, no costs or efforts were spared (e.g. "A Date With Elvis", RCA LPM-2011), and no consolatory promises of things to come were left unsaid by the management in order to keep Elvis alive and well in the minds of his vast circle of fans. At last the great coup was landed: "Elvis Is Back" was what everyone was waiting to hear and American radio and television broadcasting stations made a gigantic medial feast of it. With the ink scarcely dry on his demobilization papers, Elvis entered the studio in March 1960 and recorded a whole series of numbers which later became worldwide hits, such as "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and "It's Now Or Never". The Mystery Lights 2nd outing on Daptone's rock subsidiary, Wick, sees them digging deeper into their cavern of influences, taking on tips from Suicide, The Kinks and Television as they look to build on their already party fuelled, raucous sound.

The Mystery Lights story begins in 2004 in the small town of Salinas California when friends Michael Brandon and Luis Alfonso -whose shared fondness for groups like The Mc5, Velvet Underground, Dead Moon, and The Fall (just to name a few) -decided to join forces and craft their own brand of unhinged rock and roll. From there they spent the better part of 10 years touring relentlessly before migrating to Queens, New York in 2014.

With a live show known for its raw, visceral energy and relentless assault –leaving little to no stoppage between songs –they barreled through countless NYC haunts and DIY venues, quickly amassing a fervent local following. The buzz soon caught the attention of Daptone Records execs who were in the beginning stages of launching a new rock-centric imprint, Wick Records. Impressed by the groups’ musicianship, groove, endless supply of energy, and understanding of musical history the Mystery Lights were quickly signed to Wick. Though a rock band at heart, the parallels to what Daptone Records had traditionally looked for in their Soul artists was undeniable. Soon sessions were booked with Producer/Engineer Wayne Gordon, and the release of their debut single “Too Many Girls” b/w “Too Tough to Bear” launched to mass critical fanfare.

Upon the release of their self-titled full-length on June 24th 2016 The Mystery Lights were quickly crowned “one of New York’s finest garage rock bands” by NME. Extensive touring, including multiple stops in Europe, Asia and Australia followed which found the group graduating from support slots at hole-in-the-wall clubs to headlining stages at major festivals worldwide.

After two years of break-neck, non-stop touring, the group settled back into Queens to prepare for their second full-length record, Too Much Tension(out May 2019). With Wayne Gordon in the producer’s chair and several intense writing sessions under their belt the group were back at Daptone’s House of Soul and ready to track. While keeping the hard-hitting approach of the first LP, Too Much Tension finds the group digging deeper into their well of eclectic influences, enriching their sound without echoing the past. Mixing the eerie, insistent synth sounds of groups like The Normal and Suicide, the energy and swagger of punk’s golden age, the pop sensibility of The Kinks, and the stark, deliberate execution of Television -The Mystery Lights are taking their idiosyncratic brand of rock and roll to dizzying new heights.

"Pagan Girl" by Sirocco Bros. is presented as a 7-inch single and was released on Sleazy (catalog no. SR285). This release brings the duo back with a compact physical single and turns the spotlight on the darker side of its rock ’n’ roll roots.

Sirocco Bros. are not a conventional rockabilly project, but instead fuse classic rockabilly with a bluesy weight and a voodoo‑tinged, slightly eerie atmosphere; this sound comes through in the reverberant vocals, twangy guitar lines, and a strong rhythmic foundation. The sparsely arranged songs, in which vocal melodies and guitar figures carry themes of shadow and conjuration, are a defining trait. The band essentially centers on Adam Wakefield and Paul Sheahan, who are credited as writers and performers of the tracks.

The 7-inch brings together two tracks and continues the duo’s style: short, punchy numbers that oscillate between retro aesthetics and a modern, gritty production. On the record the focus remains on song structure and mood, so the arrangements build their groove through clear instrumental accents and a slightly ominous tonal palette. Apson, LOS - Legendary Latino Rock'n'rollers - 1963-1964

Mexico was one of the first Spanish-speaking countries to embrace the rhythms of rock ’n’ roll as its own. Bands like Los Teen Tops and Los Locos del Ritmo were perhaps the leading exponents of that country’s first wave of rock ’n’ rollers in terms of popularity and record sales. But it didn’t stop there. In the 1960s, a second wave of bands displaced the pioneers and took over the top spots, maintaining — and even surpassing — the earlier standard. Among them, Los Apson stand out on their own merits. The band’s early period has been compiled by Sleazy Records on this stunning 10” release featuring 10 tracks recorded between 1963 and 1964, when the group from Agua Prieta, Sonora was performing as a septet. In just those two years, they released no fewer than five LPs before settling into a quintet format from their third LP onward and achieving massive success from 1965. Their sound evolved from traditional rock ’n’ roll — influenced by artists such as Johnny & The Hurricanes and Chuck Berry — toward more British-influenced sounds, mostly performing Spanish-language versions of songs originally released in English. The album opens with “Barba Azul,” actually an adaptation of “Let’s Do the Limbo” by Chris Montez, whose Spanish lyrics — as was often the case at the time — bear absolutely no relation to the original. From this very first track, it becomes crystal clear what a magnificent band Los Apson were, displaying instrumental mastery and featuring the superb lead vocals of Leopoldo Sánchez “Polo,” who would embark on a solo career in 1965. “Anoche Me Enamoré” showcases the versatility of the early Apson, delivering a magnificent version of “Tonight I Fell in Love” by The Tokens. With harmonies shared between Polo and the rest of the group, it becomes a perfect lesson in doo-wop, on par with bands like Los Zafiros. Side A continues with “El Cartero,” a version of “Twistin’ Postman” by The Marvelettes, followed by “Cuando Era Jovencito,” a reinterpretation of “Cotton Fields,” later popularized by Creedence Clearwater Revival six years afterward. Here it’s performed in a calypso rhythm, once again with divine-level vocal harmonies. To close the side, “Las Quinceañeras” proves the band could also rock hard, following the path laid down by Chuck Berry’s “Sweet Little Sixteen.” Side B continues with material associated with Chuck Berry, one of Los Apson’s main influences, represented here by no fewer than three covers. This time it’s “Maybellene,” retitled “El Último Tren.” Once again, the version bears little resemblance to the original, yet stands as one of the album’s highlights. Pay close attention to the guitars — they verge on garage rock territory. “Tu Seguro Servidor” is a magnificent stroll, based on “Walk Myself On Home” by Johnny Rivers. This track comes from the band’s fifth LP, when they were already working as a quintet and guitars had become the dominant instrument. It contrasts sharply with the following track, “Sueña Dulce Nena,” a version of “Dream Baby” by Roy Orbison. That song appeared on their second LP, released just a year earlier, yet it features a very different sound, as the seven-member lineup emphasized vocal harmonies and a prominent horn section. “No Tiene la Edad” adapts “You Can’t Say Goodbye” by Trini Lopez, maintaining — and even intensifying — the rhythm & blues feel of the original, while adding the vocal harmonies that defined the group’s first two LPs. For me, this version surpasses the original. The album closes with “Fusilando a Beethoven,” an instrumental take on “Roll Over Beethoven” by Chuck Berry. Although it appeared on their fourth LP, it was probably recorded during the band’s earliest sessions for Discos Peerless, since the instrumentation includes the horn section featured on their first records. It’s a terrific version, very much in the style of Johnny & The Hurricanes, with one foot planted in surf music and only a loose connection to the original beyond the title and a hint of the melody. A magnificent selection — ideal for discovering, in a single record, one of the finest rock ’n’ roll bands to emerge from Mexico, and one that remains far too underrecognized, especially during its prolific early period.

Charlie Brown is a name many associate with the famous Peanuts cartoon. But deep in the heart of Texas, in Eastland
County, another Charlie Brown made music history. A cattle rancher and country singer, Brown was among the earliest
artists to capture the true spirit of Texas Rockabilly on record. In 1955, together with his much younger guitarist Roy
Thackerson, he recorded a small body of work that would later become highly prized by collectors and Rock’n’Roll
enthusiasts worldwide.
Songs such as Mean Mean Mama and Have You Heard The Gossip are now regarded as prime examples of raw, early
Rockabilly, combining country roots with driving rhythms and an unpolished intensity that set them apart from more
commercial recordings of the era. These sides stand as early blueprints of the distinct Texas Rockabilly sound.

That’s The Way It Is is Elvis’ 12th studio album, consisting of eight studio tracks recorded at the RCA studios in Nashville and four songs performed live at The International Hotel in Las Vegas. It accompanied the theatrical release of the eponymous documentary film, although it is not generally considered a soundtrack album.

Added to this definitive 4LP legacy edition are four single sides from the period and a selection of fly-on-the-wall outtakes from the June Nashville sessions that produced the majority of tracks for the LP. Disc 3 and 4 feature the first complete release of a concert from Elvis’ 1970 "Summer Season” recorded on August 12. The 20-page booklet features an insightful essay, photos and memorabilia.

Released in 1983 after a lengthy court battle with IRS Records, Smell of Female originally contained just the first six songs. These, plus out-of-control ad-lib freakouts “Beautiful Gardens” and “She Said” (previously omitted due to legal restrictions) were recorded live at New Yorkʼs famous Peppermint Lounge. There is nothing like the sound of The Cramps, and this set distills that cross of swamp water, moonshine and nitro down to a dangerous and unstable musical substance, captured live like a crazed animal. They rocked like few others could.

Additional bonus track “Surfinʼ Dead” was recorded at A&M Studios in Hollywood and originally appeared on the 1984 soundtrack for Return of the Living Dead—when asked to write a “pop song” for the movie, The Cramps (by then a three-piece) threw into their cauldron a mix of Link Wray, Jan & Dean, Davie Allen, The Righteous Brothers, bongos, Phil Spector and eye of newt.

Probably the most astonishing hard rock LP out of 1970s Spain, repressed by popular demand and this time offering a very limited transparent blue colour run.

THE STORM hailed from Sevilla and were acclaimed by both audience and press reviewers as one of the best rock bands from Spain. The combo was formed by the Ruiz Geniz brothers (Angel and Diego), on guitar and drums respectively, plus Luis Genil (organ) and José Torres (bass).

Their debut album, originally released on Basf in 1974, is one of the Crown jewells of Spanish hard rock, and changes hands for a small fortune among collectors all over the world, especially since its inclusion in Hans Pokora's 'Record Dreams' books.

This LP really rocks. It's high energy hard rock that follows the line marked by the big organ outfits of the era such as DEEP PURPLE, ATOMIC ROOSTER, BRAM STOKER, MEGATÓN...

It has also a deep classic prog sound root, which reaches the top on 'Un Señor Llamado Fernández De Córdoba'.

We are talking of one of the seminal Spanish hard rock LPs.

Indeed it was the Interior/Ivy partnership which provided the impetus, inspiration and drive for the entire Cramps ethos and body of work. Cramps personnel would otherwise rotate much over their existence, although the addition of guitarist Bryan Gregory and drummer Pam Ballam in 1976 resulted in the first complete line-up.The gig presented here, from a live FM Radio Broadcast and so in the finest quality possible, presented on limited edition white vinyl 2LP, features a good splattering of tracks from A Date With Elvis, alongside a number of Cramps fave-raves and a good helping of cover versions - most interesting of which is rockabilly legend Charlie Feathers It's Just That Song, the number that finishes the album but which has rarely been performed live by the band.
