DJ Soch Let Me Tell You EP

Released on Wolf Music, the 12" *Let Me Tell You EP* by DJ Soch brings together four tracks: the A-side features "Let Me Tell You (Power Mix)" and "Let Me Tell You (Original Mix)," while the B-side offers "Chewing Gum (Prince Palmer Remix)" and "Chewing Gum." The selection clearly focuses on dancefloor-oriented house cuts that are also rich in classic soul elements.

Musically, DJ Soch works here with skippy drums, warm pads, a striking church-organ motif, and a driving bassline carried by a pleading, soulful male vocal; the Power Mix version strips back the vocal in favor of the organ, boosting its effectiveness in the club. On the flip side, "Chewing Gum" delivers a hypnotic, deep house–driven groove, while the Prince Palmer remix clearly nods to ’90s US garage. These combinations balance emotional feel and direct impact at the same time.

Behind the project is Italy’s DJ Soch, founder of Black Angus Records and long-standing resident of the club Serendipity; his DJ career goes back to the mid-1980s and shapes a style that connects house, techno, disco, funk, and influences from Detroit and Chicago. The EP reflects this experience and his direct, soul-driven approach in a contemporary club-ready form.
