"With all the material considered for How It Should Sound (HISS) Volumes 3-5, it became difficult to determine which tracks would make the final album. While working on the album (3, 4 & 5), I lost track of the complete running time and how many beats were recorded. Selecting and sequencing songs for the definitive album was a task in itself for Redef, but once we decided to make 3 volumes instead of 2 as originally intended, things started lining up. This record features bonus material including outtakes and interludes that otherwise would have gone unheard. Being the 5th anniversary of the HISS franchise (2010-2015), we wanted to acknowledge the milestone by making more music available to our unsuspecting fans. HISS Abyss.
