El Afrocombo Pan Con Salsa

Barranquilla's Pete Vicentini has won the respect and admiration of salsa aficionados for his long career and artistic quality as musical director, composer, bassist, pianist and arranger. Although his group El Afrocombo did not have the overwhelming commercial success of Fruko y sus Tesos, Joe Arroyo y La Verdad or Grupo Niche during the height of Colombian salsa, they enjoyed a popular following in the Atlantic and Caribbean coastal areas of Colombia."Pan Con Salsa" (1971) was their excellent debut LP.
