Krankbrother Paradigm Shift

Krankbrother return to their label with a new two track single that further establishes their musical chops and keen ear for sophisticated and classy house music. ‘Paradigm Shift’ comes off the back of three EPs already on their own label and a string of DJ dates and London parties, and finds the brothers in deep, early sunrise mode.

‘Paradigm Shift’ kicks off with swinging and thumping drums, pierced with female vox and dramatic string pads that continue to build throughout the track’s tenure, creating a misty eyed and wondrous vibe. An arpeggiated synth kicks in after its breakdown lifting the track to dizzying heights as acid motif and chopped vocals rage hard.

On the flipside, ‘Right There With You’ is another chugging house track par excellence, it’s almost trance-like atmosphere evoking shades of classic Berlin house music. Rising pads and a flourishing bassline create a perfect early morning gloss, a simple 303 bass pattern tweaks merrily as a distant sample calls out the track title. ‘Right There With You’ demands to be played out in fields and terraces this Summer, the brothers having refined a classic sound in this production that reflects their own musical influences and style.
