Lee Perry Blackboard Jungle Dub Colored Version

In early 2011, Lee Perry's dub masterpiece "Blackboard Jungle Dub" was released by a then upstart independent imprint known as Get On Down.While we were just getting our feet wet with the new label, the quality and craftsmanship of the Lee Perry CD release quickly solidified Get On Down's commitment to procuring and restoring forgotten treasures in deluxe and noteworthy formats. The CD was released to critical and consumer acclaim and marked the first in our series of remastered Dub reggae classics.

While we remain satisfied with the results of the still in print CD format, we were given an opportunity to explore a different avenue with this title for Record Store Day 2012. We took that opportunity and ran with it!

We are very pleased to announce our first Record Store Day Exclusive; the Get On Down deluxe vinyl edition of Lee Perry and King Tubby's finest pairing - "Blackboard Jungle Dub".

The package contains the full length album spread across three pieces of 10" red, yellow, and green colored vinyl , a 30" x 30" giant poster of the album's cover art, and is housed in full color
hinged box secured with a magnetic clasp. We even went a step further with this release and sent the original version to our audio labs to be painstakingly remastered a second time to ensure 100% flawless audio sound quality. This record has truly NEVER sounded better.

This is the definitive Blackboard Jungle Dub and a collector's keepsake we are proud to stand behind.
