The Mixmaster of ceremony this time around is none other than Nickodemus, legendary New York based DJ/producer - A man in-the-know about all things freestyle, electronic and dub for real and therefore first choice to rise to this occasion. He runs NYC’s top notch (and longest running) freestyle event "Turntables On The Hudson" as well as his own label imprint, Wonderwheel Recordings.
17 fantastic tunes from the Poets Club (and affiliated sublabel ckp) catalog put in the mix dub stylee, spiced & cut up with some rare edits & versions. A selection crossing all borders of lanuguage, tempo, genres & flavour, put together by Nickodemus And so it comes as no surprise that Poets Dub Vol. 2 showcases the featured artists & remixers at the top of their game. Long term Poets Club affiliated artists like world music don Eastenders and G-Stone homies Kieser.Velten from Germany are in of course, as well as Zilverzurf from Sweden... but this time around especially Vienna based Balkan Halfgod Dunkelbunt and pro active drummer/producer Razoof got the ticket from conductor Nickodemus: two like minded sonical freestyle travellers, sharing the same vision of a global sound that brings all nations and continents together on the very same dancefloor.
