Gayle Brogan, a key figure in the experimental music scene since the mid nineties, first gained recognition as one half of the remarkable duo Electroscope, mixing psychedelic pop, lo'fi, drones and folk. As the woman behind Boa Melody Bar she became a well known distributor of underground music as well. Since Electroscope went on hiatus in 2000, Gayle picked up the name Pefkin, and continued on the same path, though the music shifted a bit more towards free-form folk and longer drone pieces. This resulted in a string of well-received releases on labels s.a. Pseudoarcana, Foxglove and Ruralfaune. This 2014 album is pressed on high-quality vinyl in a limited edition of 100 copies and is packaged in an open sleeve with download coupon.
