greatness & pop songwriting mastery of Flamin’ Groovies/Rolling
Stones/Kinks/Stooges/Vu/ New York Dolls-influenced rip-roar. In
1970 John Felice formed The Modern Lovers with Jonathan
Richman. Felice departed The Modern Lovers in January
1973 to concentrate on The Kids. In early 1976 The Real
Kids formed to play ripping rock and roll music.
