At the start of 2016, Speedometer were asked by KPM (EMI’s leading production music label) to produce an authentic anthology album of early 70s funk. Recorded using analogue techniques at UK’s Big Noise Studios, the band have delivered 16 dance floor monsters from classic funk to soul funk, Latin funk and Afro funk featuring heavy horns and fatback drums throughout. The full album is only available to download from January 2017 for now.
In addition, there will be a limited edition 45 single of Afro Funk killer “African Bushfire” available for all vinyl funk fans.
