Teemu Åkerblom Quartet's playing is firmly rooted in the past but brings out new energy to the scene. Teemu's own compositions are catchy, melodic and lush but never too intricate. Throughout the record you hear great solo performances by Zenger, Vannemaa, Tikka and Pohjola who stepped in on three of the tunes. 100% analogue recorded and mastered by Abdissa Assefa, transferred from reels direct to lacquer by Jukka-Sarapää at Timmion. Package comes in a heavy cardboard paste on sleeve with front painting by California Multi artist Steve Roden. Limited to 500 copies.
