Ant Plate aka YSE kicks things off with the slick beats of 'Tomorrow's Yesterday' which is a throwback to the glory days of Chitown - think tough, relentless drums, chunky 909 snare fills, deep rhodes chords, hypnotic melodic riffs and a memorable spoken word vocal sample. Ben Boe aka Madd Maxx Traxx debuts with the serious tech-house grooves of 'Lake Shore Drive' complete with crunchy drums, filtered pads and a low bassline. Label heads Rhythm Plate chip in with 'I, The Music' which is a proper old school deep house gem with 97% swing. Warm up anthem in the making. YSE finishes the EP with 'Sidehacker' which mixes old and new school house FX to effective effect. Bleepy juno bass sounds, deep chords, weird harmonics and a rolling vibe.
