V.A. Warrior Loves

Sound Warrior Records founded by Jenifa Mayanja & Dakini 9 aims to balance the playing field for female producers and exclusively releases their music. Sound Warrior 005 Warrior Loves touches upon the cornerstones of underground house and techno. Original lush flourishes mixed with hard hitting beats,dominate this release. Cherushii who this album is dedicated to sadly passed away in the Oakland fire, we pay tribute to her talent! Aurora Halal is one half the founder of the NYC festival Sustain Release. Daniela La Luz runs Parallel Berlin & her work was recently featured on Moodyman's K7 dj mix. North Carolina artist Lady Fingers recently released a 7 on Activ-Analog records. Montreal artist CMD released on Fur Recordings and was a performer at Mutek 2015. LA based producer Lilith most recent release was on Ante Recordings. Longtime producer/dj Jenifa Mayanja, also runs Bumako Recordings, her third album drops 2017.
