And the first in the new launched series on Britcore Rawmance called White Label Vandalism which will focus on German Hardcore rap is the X-Caliber EP from the German/Swiss crew of the same name which consisted of Underground United’s long time friend Gato from Hamburg (also to be found on Underground United Vol. 1 LP as part of Huntah and the same Gato who brought us the Direkt Action LP – Big up Gato!) and Kuze from Switzerland as well as Killjoy. Released on cassette only almost twenty years ago, eight of those 13 tracks now made it onto wax, presented by Britcore Rawmance on 12 inches white labelled black wax with a stickered generic sleeve in a screen printed folded cover with further info on the crew. Capture some late Hamburg Hardcore styles here, raw and energetic beats and vocals from the late 90’s when X-Caliber were one of the very last crews waving the European Hardcore and Britcore flag in North-German tradition in Germany if not Europe at all, so respect to whom respect is due indeed! Never heard that tape and curious what it’s like? Well, get an idea on the below, of course we got some snippets for you here also. (www.undergroundunited.de)
