Dino Lenny returns with a new dark dancefloor drop, ready to cause a stir after a string of on-point release over the last year on the likes of Innervisions, Diynamic, Ellum and Sapiens. Title track 'Techno Is Dead' lands on his own Fine Human imprint and takes a play from people sentencing the end of a style, but the truth is the floors are having it like no tomorrow. Sonic wise, it’s a 8 minute slice of driving, shadowy, electronic sound, with rumbling 4/4 beats and warehouse ready builds working in tandem for a truly standout piece of finely balanced sound, that will no doubt light up the clubs. Following up is ' Go Down To Mexico', with an array of off kilter stabs and trippy vocal elements solidifying Dino's dexterous production style. Expect to hear these across the clubs in the coming months.

The next Yoshitoshi Classic is here and it's a heavy one - Dino Lenny's "I Feel Stereo." Anyone on the scene in 2001, when this monster tune was originally released, remembers its pulsing rhythms and ear-catching vocal hook. Seventeen years later, "I Feel Stereo" is back with three remixes from some of the finest artists around.Steve Lawler (working here as Lawler) has crafted a badass, bassline-driven house track that pummels with all the energy of the original. Steve continues his reign as as key innovator in dance music, modernizing this classic with unquestionable finesse. The Red Axes boys deliver their silky smooth brand of minimal house with a variety of distorted arpeggio riffs, futuristic chimes, and other left-field sounds that make their remix truly unique. It's another ace production from the Israeli duo.Last but certainly not least, up-and-comer Frankyeffe, who delivered the goods on his collaborative Splitting Minds EP with Loco & Jam last fall, serves up some impeccably produced techno for big, loud rooms. The Italian phenom's mix is absolute savagery. Of course, it wouldn't be a Yoshi Classic pack without a remastered original mix.

Chained to a ladder: There’s no way up. There’s no way down. You’re hung on a rung and there’s there no place to escape as Dino Lenny delves into your innermost psyche with this heavy slice of pedigree Italian electronica. A Darkroom Dubs debut from the original craftsman, ‘Chained To A Ladder’ is ominous in its mood and tone, dramatic in its new romantic vocal style and uncompromised with its devilish analogue aesthetic.Remix-wise we’re unquestionably spoilt and torn in two powerful distinctive directions as label bosses Silicone Soul unleash their first production of the year with an immense 9+ minute cosmic bluesy stew, cooked slow and low with deep psychedelic flavours.Skinnerbox, meanwhile, up the tempo with a jacking acidic 3am foray where Dino’s stark spoken word is textured to trippy effect over a prickly, sinewy groove. Two versions that develop the original’s story in two stark ways; this is what remixes were invented for.Last but not least, Dino seals the deal with ‘The Right Place’. A broken drum mutant powered by technoid rocket fuel, its breakbeats drive a writhing groove that’s awash with touches of classic electro, new beat and hardcore with dark broadsword bass sweeps. Splashed with sudden blasts of synth colour, Dino’s signature sense of contrast is visceral, focused and direct. A true homage to every genre’s foundations and salute to the future; tremors can be felt from techno to drum & bass.As the soon to be released ‘Darkroom Dubs Volume IV’ celebrated the last few years of releases, Dino sets the scene for another exciting chapter for the label. A chapter that will see the label continue to explore its signature atmospheric late-night sounds celebrate its 15th anniversary next year and a long awaited fifth album from Silicone Soul. We’ll leave you hanging right here...

This year Correspondant will take part in this exciting journey with a track that Dino wrote with Fiberroot called "Suddenly" meanwhile his label Fine Human Records continues building nicely with great support. The italian wizard just got remixed by Agoria & Maceo Plex and his original mixes of "Shoot Me to the Sky/ This Time we take it Easy" will be out soon on Sapiens. Exciting electronic days for Lenny!
