A dream that has become reality: one of the best and among the most sought after soundtracks by Gianni Ferrio finally comes back to life in LP form. The original record has always been one of the rarest of the entire cult RCA SP series, considered an absolute must-have for the Italian groove hunters of the day:
Jazz-funk texture with touches of blaxploitation, b-boy breaks, flipped out hammond, flashes of bossa and the vocal stylings of the unmistakable Edda Dell’Orso. The Four Flies issue, remastered from tapes of the original recording sessions, also contains two
unexpected alternate takes never before released on vinyl.!

- Original soundtrack by Gianni Ferrio - Silver/Red Coloured Vinyl - Featured on Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" soundtrack The classic 1965 Spaghetti Western, "Un Dollaro Bucato" (Blood for a Silver Dollar) was an Italian/French collaboration directed by Giorgio Ferroni in which ex-Confederate lieutenant Gary O'Hara is duped by a corrupt landowner and mistakenly kills his brother. Gary is also shot and left for dead but is saved by the silver dollar he carries in his pocket, enabling him to return and revenge his brother's death. The film's release in America saw the title changed to "One Silver Dollar" and its star's name changed from Guiliano Gemma to the rather less Italian sounding Montgomery Wood, under which moniker Gemma continued to perform. Ferrio's music for "Un Dollaro Bucato" has all the galloping excitement and standoff tension of Morricone's soundtracks for Sergio Leone's classic Dollars Trilogy and was used by Tarantino in his 2009 film "Inglourious Basterds".

Four Flies Records is proud to present the first vinyl reissue of the original soundtrack to IO Emmanuelle (also known a s A Man For Emmanuelle) – Cesare Canavari’s 1969 erotic-drama starring Italian scream-queen Erika Blanc.
The score was composed and arranged by maestro Gianni Ferrio, who created one of his most famous and iconic soundtracks ever, with music that perfectly follows the neurotic character of the young protagonist – from moments of intimacy and introspection, to those of insanity and madness.
The result is a terrific cocktail of late 6 0s Italian grooves: orchestral beat, RnB, jazz, and avant garde numbers, with an essential contribution of “I Cantori Moderni di Alessandro Alessandroni” (vocal and choir), and featuring Gino Marinacci onflute.
One of the rarest records from CAM archives is finally back in the spotlight, remastered from original master tapes and pressed on 180gr vinyl, including an inner sleeve featuring original movie artwork by renowned Italian cinematic painter Sandro Symeoni.
