The journey into the spaghetti westerns world continues, publishing on LP and CD the complete OST by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis for the movie “… continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità” (aka “Trinity is still my name” aka “Vier Fäuste für ein Halleluja” aka “On continue à l’appeler Trinita”) directed by E.B. Clucher (Enzo Barboni) in 1971 and starring Bud Spencer, Terence Hill, Franco Ressel, Yanti Somer, Enzo Tarascio, Alfio Caltabiano, Pupo De Luca, Emilio Delle Piane, Enzo Fiermonte, Jessica Dublin, Dana Ghia. Trinity (Terence Hill) and Child (Bud Spencer), brothers and outlaw vagabonds with a tender heart, are mistaken for federal agents by Parker (Emilio Delle Piane), a violent arms dealer. Taking advantage of the misunderstanding, the two let him willingly “buy” them with the dollars of the shady character, and then try an even bigger shot. They decide to get as much profit as possible from this misunderstanding, and they break in the convent that Parker, after threatening the friars, transformed into warehouse and exchange point of weapons. Continuing to impersonate federal agents they convince the religious men to hand over their fifty thousand U.S. dollars that Mexican rebels have just shelled out in exchange for a shipment of weapons; but Parker suddenly comes in with dozens of his men. Waged against the band of the squire a furious but bloodless struggle - which also involves the brothers Trinity and Child who manage to get the better but ... For this CD we found and used the stereo master tapes of the original session that allowed us to publish every recorded note of this beautiful OST (52:26). This soundtrack was the first by Guido and Maurizio De Angelis for a film with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, with the editing created for the CD presents nearly faithfully the film sequence (Tr. 1-18), in the second part (Tr. 19-25) the not synchronised versions were included in the movie versions. The De Angelis brothers composed a main theme “Trinity stand tall” (Tr. 2), which anticipates the style that will always be used in the next film with the Dynamic Duo, revisited with variations in Tr. 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 18 and 20, with guitars and wind instruments with fresh Western taste, forming a melodic theme to emphasise the infatuation of Trinity for the beautiful daughter of the poor immigrant (Remember) that we find in Tr. 13, 16, 19 (version published in 45RPM RCA 74-16157) and Tr. 25 in the most complete version ever published. Another recurring theme in the western musicality but with a touch of beat, is present in the Tr. 7, 8, 9 and 23 that highlight the funniest moments of the film. In describing instead the convent and therefore the sacredness of the place, the De Angelis composed a theme for organ and choir in Tr. 15, 17 and 24 and various tracks to remind the listener of a ‘purely western setting represented by harmonicas, guitars on the tracks 1 (intro of the film), 4, 11, 14 and 21 and the inevitable saloon piano Tr. 22. About the LP version We wished to offer the track list already released in the 1972 album (RCA Cinematre OLS 9) adding two bonus tracks Seq. 2 and the instrumental version of Trinity stand tall.

Digitmovies presents on CD and LP the original motion picture soundtrack by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis from the movie “The tiger is still alive: Sandokan to the rescue” (“La tigre è ancora viva: Sandokan alla riscossa”).At that time a 45 rpm single was issued (Rca BB 6135) featuring two tracks, for this LP we have used the stereo master tapes found in the Rca vaults. After a slow and solemn strings introduction of the “Sandokan theme”, the new main theme is presented, for big orchestra and of epic flavour called “Ritorno a Mompracem” (Tr.1 - side B). This theme is reprised with several variations: with mandola and strings (Tr.4 - side A), slow and mystic (Tr.6 - side A, Tr.4 - side B), with flute, mandola and bells (Tr.6 - side B) and in vocal version (Tr.1 - side A). The score is also enriched with very rhythmic action music like Tr.3 - side A, Tr.2 - side B, Tr.5 - side A e Tr.7 - side B, and of ethnic flavour (Tr.7 - side A). The Sandokan theme is reprised with an atonal way with reverberated harps in Tr.3 - side B. Although a digital restoration occurred some audio anomalies (pre-existing on the original sources) remain.Mompracem villagers are scared and left hungry by the ferocious Sultan Abdullah, a sovereign cowardly and cruel, serving the British. Jamilah, a young woman, returns to Mompracem to call the old 'tigers" to battle, but is hunted by the sultan's guards and is about to be killed, but she was saved by the Greek adventurer Teotokris. The latter decides to help her, making a long journey to India in search of Sandokan, sheltering there to convince him to resume his fight against the British.

Digitmovies releases for the very first time on CD and LP the complete edition in full stereo of the OST for the Italian cult TV series "Orzowei" which was composed by the prolific brothers Guido & Maurizio De Angelis. Based on the novel “Orzowei” written by Alberto Manzi and issued in 1955, the story was adapted into 13 episodes of an international TV hit series wich was produced in 1976 by Italian and German companies. It was directed by the French filmaker Yves Allégret and starred Peter Marshall as Isa / Orzowei, the British star Stanley Baker, Doris Kunstmann, Vincenzo Crocitti, and Bonne Lubega. This TV program was broadcasted in Italy in early 1977 and presented again with version especially re-edited for cinema theaters called "Orzowei - il figlio della savana” (“Orzowei - Son of the Savannah”).Isa, a white child abandoned in the forest of South Africa, is found and raised like a son by an old great warrior and by an old woman, both of them belonging to the Swazi people, an ethnic grouping of the Bantu tribe. Due to his white skin he is jokingly called Orzowei, “the found”. After his escape from the Swazi village, he takes refuge to a forest where he is adopted as a son by Pao, the sage man of a Bosciman tribe. At the end Orzowei will really have to fight against the Swazi, the people who had brought him up as a child, and to defeat Mesei, his arch enemy. In those days only one single was issued: RCA BB 6054, a very big international record hit. This CD has been possible thanks to the stereo master tapes which have been well preserved in the RCA archives. Concerning "Orzowei" besides the 45 rpm single versions “Orzowei” and “Le notti di Orzowei” we have also added alternate takes of the famous theme song like a different mix, the instrumental version, an evocative version with an echoed solo flute, the very cool karaoke version, an alternate take of “Le notti di Orzowei” without flute (all the original material discovered on the master tapes, if we consider that possibly in the TV series library music was re-used). Only recently we were able to discover on another mastertape three extra alternate takes that with big joy we include in thi very new re-issue. A OST of the ’70s Italian TV CULT which we absolutely wanted to rescue and preserve to honour the musical art of Guido & Maurizio De Angelis.

Limited to 400 copies.Right after La Polizia Incrimina, La Legge Assolve (High Crime), the magic duo of Italian poliziotteshi conceive yet another highlight of the genre - the groovy, melancholic score of Milano Trema: La Polizia Vule Giustizia (The Violent Professionals, 1973), which perfectly sets the tone of metropolitan violence presented on the screen. A dramatic sound, which preludes the acid-prog and gloomy music created for Il Grande Racket (The Big Racket) just three years later, with lots of flutes, clavinet, frenzied percussions, deep basslines and experimental effects. The result is a disturbing atmosphere of suspence, always on the verge of exploding in deep piano notes that highlight the most violent moments of the film. With the main theme “Blue Song”, repeated several times with endless instrumental variations, the De Angelis brothers set a dark-romantic atmosphere which becomes a manifesto of disenchantment and the perfect accompaniment for the detective story.Four Flies Records, in collaboration with Bloodbuster Edizioni, is proud to present the complete soundtrack for the first time on vinyl (only the two songs of the movie were published before on a 7''-inch by RCA), featuring exclusive liner notes by the film's director, Sergio Martino.

Now for the first time on vinyl, Four Flies Records is proud to present an unmissable Eurocrime soundtrack by Guido & Maurizio De Angelis, composed in 1976 and considered to be one of the genre’s finest offerings directed by Enzo G. Castellari. Perhaps the most forceful OST from the Italian duo, Il Grande Racket consists of fuzz distortion and electronic effects from the beginning to the end. This sonic gem is also enriched with psychedelic flutes, obsessive rhythms, and percussion which results with a totally prog-rock and psych-funk score that perfectly describes the main elements of the film: action, tension and violence. Remastered from the original master tapes preserved for decades in the C.A.M. archives, and augmented with exclusive liner notes by Davide Pulici (Nocturno Cinema) and stunning original artwork created by Luke Insect, this edition will be a true pleasure of the senses for any and all soundtrack lovers.
