Ecuador's rising son, Nicola Cruz, returns to Multi Culti with Cantos de Vision, a truly visionary EP backed by remixes from Jaja, Argentinian Uji, and Multi Culti's own Thomas Von Party. One of the core artists in Multi Culti's diverse catalog of globally-inspired dance music, Nicola Cruz is deservedly becoming the poster-boy for a new wave of producers that fuse indigenous sounds with internationally professional production, creating something entirely new, sonically. It's a genre that Multi Culti ambassadors Dreems & Thomas Von Party refer to as 'Folklorica,' a psychedelic replanting of folkloric roots, and nowhere is it more skilfully executed than on Nicola's tracks.

Nicola Cruz polishes off a trippy tryptic of cult releases for Multi Culti with ESPÌRITU.Folklorica's chosen lord, Nicola Cruz has shepherded the masses from the church of high tempos and brought trance-formed revellers down to earth with his fusion of crisp electronics and organic, indigenous vibrations. Miraculously, he has brought this style of music to Europe's major big room clubs and huge festival stages worldwide, pleasing crowds in the habit of being hypnotized by homogenous house music.Espìritu de Protección opens as a revelation, two seconds into the groove and you're deep in the tribe. You're dancing, everybody's dancing, things dub out, melt down, and a haunting vocal wisps through the room, tickling the crowd from their tailbones to their pineal glands. Just as you recover from that spell, in fly the flutes. Every yogi in the vicinity sways into the front and all of a sudden, you KNOW you're getting laid tonight. That's the kind of power we're dealing with: CRUZ CONTROL.It's so potent we had to carefully extract the Flute-A-Pella and serve it up separately to use as a cult DJ tool.On the flip side, not one but two slamming remixes of Tzantza from Disco Halal-defekting Russian duo: Simple Symmetry. Vinyl lovers rejoice in the supreme exclusivity on the digitally unavailable Folklorica Dub, a supreme tranceformational party tool with enough flute to elevate the mind of the many.

Multi Culti's lucid-lifestyle dreamer Peter Power takes us on a free-wheeling trip to the motherland on AFRO DAMBA.The Irish-born Voodoohop resident has returned from the jungles of Bahia with a fresh ep of primal party tracks sampling voices and rhythms from across Africa and it's neighbouring islands, producing what is easily his most club-oriented work to date.Whereas his tracks for Voodoohop were spiritual flute-heart-openers, these are neo-pagan mating-ritual floor-fillers. The rhythm is set to tribal chug, with rollicking percussion, reverb-soaked vocals, and all the fun jangly bells & bits you expect to be hanging off such a well-traveled producer. If that weren't enough, we enlisted Romanian-dance-duo Khidja to rework Adama Waro Resident mix-lord Dreems also weighs in with a subtle remix of Dansakoni, gently upping the tempo and tweaking the knobs in selfless service of the original groove.

Red Axes's massive 'Waiting For a Surprise' gets new remixes from heavy hitters Audion, Moscoman, Manfredas and Multi Culti label-man Thomas Von Party. The jewel in the crown of Israel's underground music scene, Red Axes have produced a steady stream of hits on labels like Permanent Vacation, I'm A Cliché, Crosstown Rebels, and the freaky all-inclusive Multi Culti where they dropped what became, somewhat surprisingly, their biggest hit to date with Waiting For a Surprise. The dark, stripped down disco bomb had one of the most memorable hooks of the year in singer Abrao's staccato chorus, a late night voodoo incantation that was always begging to be remixed. The globally-minded, non-tempo-specific label ventures further into big-room techno territory than ever before, calling on resurrected techno god Audion, hot off the release of his incredible album Alpha. He delivers a jumbo, driving, trancey-dance bomb onto techno turf and raises the hands higher in the air than previously thought possible. Next up, fellow Tel Avivian Moscoman directs his hot hands to his guitar, mellowing things slightly, stretching out the hooks and adding layers of ambulant percussion to his signature middle eastern flair. The man you love to hate to love breaks his bread and shares it with us all. Lithuanian bandit and current Multi Culti tour poster boy Manfredas (who delayed the package by 3 months + some) weighs in with an incredibly dope, hook-filled revision. Worth the wait for his weight in cult gold. Finally, label chef Thomas Von Party joins forces with the Axes on a hybrid electro-psych-surf adventure you can get lost in. The freaky force is felt in this chuggy bro-down with the trans-continental high-five resonating across the sunset.

The dawn of Multi Culti's astrological epic assault kicks off with exotic neo-hippie modulations from Von party, Red Axes, and 'The Australians' - Dreems, Ccolo, Nick Murray & Kris Baha. In pole party position of A1 on Vinyl #1 is 'Wet Raga' from Cult Leaders VON PARTY & DREEMS - This sprawling, 13-minute, raga-sampling main-room odyssey powers us into sunrise...and the journey begins. Prolific maestros RED AXES then kick things into darker territory with Boosha Gdola, a squelchy bleep-fest straight out of the Israeli underground. On the flip (which could be titled 'The Oz side') DREEMS comes up to bat again with the herbal Sine 'O' The Tymes, squeezing the groove into an acid genie bottle, bumping along with a few lazy cowbells in tow, until finally giving us melodic finish. Masterful. We are all feeling this one. Fellow Australian doof dingos NICK MURRAY & KRIS BAHA bring up the tempo, toting electrified guitars, and hypnotic grooves that speak to a lifetime of overhearing digeridoos. Finally, Ccolo sends us off with F33lings, a curious mix of lush ambient electronics and bush-ready downtempo acid.

After a few years spent in quiet reflection during his introduction to the wonders of fatherhood, In Relationen emerges as both a refined and mature comeback, as well as a distinct newbeginning for the long-time Berlin producer. The pensive character, delicate emotional undertones, and careful lines drawn with precise tension across restrained arrangements may sound familiar to fans of his earlier work, but there is now a greater sense of calm, an openness that rewardslisteners both on and off the dance-floor. As contemplative as it may be, In Relationen still rocks, particularly on the title track, where a frontal psychedelic guitar line gently weeps across a haunting, hypnotic field of rhythm. The krautrock influence runs deep, not in a superficial way but in the depths of the music: atop the rolling, pastoral grooves, the vibe of a bright German mind reorganizing itself to a new framework, re-aligning to a fresh phase of life, finding deeper communion with the world through the discovered balance of inner peace.
