Croza - Lady Killer

Release:2018 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Organic Analogue may be best known for its deep-diving techno and house and star-gazing electro, but on this latest transmission it digs into its roots in 1980s club music by way of the supremely talented Croza. Florence-based Adrien F Costes makes his first solo outing here with tracks lifted from his treasure trove of home-made, boogie-influenced beats. The sounds may tap up a direct line to the 80s, but there's a distinctly modernist slant to the heads-down groove that Costes cooks up. Italian producer Ad Bourke also makes a rare appearance to remix "Night Heat". His version plays out like a hazy dream sequence injected with a little Italo strut, rounding this record out as a celebration of the deep-seated influences that guide Organic Analogue.
Marvis Dee - Alpha

Release:2017 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
OA's time-slipping journey into classic/future-gazing electronics continues with the arrival of Marvis Dee. This new 12" is in fact the brainchild of Jeremiah R, the Dutch electro maverick who kicked off the label back in 2013 with The New Wave, and who has since gone on to respected outposts such as Tabernacle, Enklav. and BAKK. As Marvis Dee he's been equally busy over the past two years, with a spin on deep Chicago house that should strike a chord with fans of Larry Heard et al. On the Alpha EP, Marvis Dee has ample space to explore the boundaries of his sound across six original productions that strike a unique, curious chord even as they display the comforting hallmarks of hardware house music. With jacking 707 drums, punchy basslines, tumbling toms and soaring pads notes with sweet-natured harmonic. This is not house music to spell out how you should be feeling. Orgue Electronique is the perfect match for the woozy tones of Marvis Dee, and so the Dutch mainstay takes to "I Can See It In My Dreams" and delivers a powerful revision to the original production. It's a respectful approach to the remix tradition that aligns with the overall ethos of the Alpha EP. To complement Dee's homage to the spirit of Chi-town beatdowns, the record comes housed in a jacket indebted to the iconic designs of early house music, continuing OA's fine tradition of on-point, concept-led visuals.

Release:2017 / EU – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Rising talent Aleks joins Jeremiah R, HVL, DJ Guy and MNLTH in the Organic Analogue realm of spiritual sonic exploration. The Amsterdam-based producer has already made a name for himself in the past few years with his penchant for sci-fi imagery and impeccable hardware jams, hence he feels like a natural fit for OA. This double L.P release provides the chance to hear some of the breadth in Aleks productions, from ambient submersions to Detroitian techno and sharp edged 303 resonance that skirts the divide between jacking club material and emotional content. HVL returns to OA with a frankly stunning remix of "Pool Daze" that steps up to the giants of early electronica. As an additional treat, the Georgian producer has also donned his Kiyadama guise for the eight-minute psych-out "Acid Expansion Remix" of "Void". Capturing the foggy time-slip quality of the dancefloor with a sound that could just as easily come from the late morning, the Pool Daze L.P. is equally comfortable as another thread in the OA tapestry
