Released in 1993 “It Just Is” was dedicated to one of Nick Saloman’s favourite guitarists Ollie Halsall, this beautifully poignant album is stripped back similarly to the earlier Bevis Frond releases with Nick going solo. Playing everything on the record, the hard hitting “Desperate”, “What’s It All About” and “Can’t Stop Lying” are notably more downbeat whilst the psych pop of “Dreamboat Sinking” and “Day One’s” lyrics make this album for the dedicated Frond obsessive more than anyone else. The double LP comes with 5mm spine single sleeve, printed inners and a download postcard.

Limited edition for Record Store Day 2016!It is limited in the U.S. to 500 copies and on transparent deep purple vinyl. It also features extensive bonus tracks available via download. Following the unexpected success of The Bevis Frond’s debut, 1987’s "Inner Marshland" originally was recorded via the home studio four-track portastudio set up that was used for the debut album in Walthamstow, UK. Recorded over 12 months, "Inner Marshland” features the anglophile’s dreamscape of “Termination Station Grey”, the epic psych-blues-rock rave up of "I’ve Got Eyes in the Back of My Head” and so much more, with Nick Saloman’s guitar always leading the way.

Limited edition for Record Store Day 2016!It is limited in the U.S. to 500 copies and on transparent royal blue vinyl. It also features extensive bonus tracks available via download. Originally self-released by Nick Saloman and limited to just 500 copies, the debut from The Bevis Frond marked the beginning of a highly influential career in underground British neo-psych-rock. Armed with a four-track portastudio, the success of 1986’s “Miasma” saw it unexpectedly sell-out quickly with a repress not far behind. Sounding as bracing today as it did then, it collects some of Saloman’s finest songs. Having played in bands since the late 60’s, and constantly writing, Saloman had founded The Von Trap Family and played in Room 13 among others. In fact, he had almost called it a day, but it was the popularity of “Miasma” that saw him continue onward and establish himself as an underground legend.

Here is Nick Saloman's 22nd album under the Bevis Frond moniker. The creative resurgence continues with a double album of great English songwriting, blistering guitar-psych and delicate acoustics. The personnel is the same as on 2013's 'White Numbers' album (which received rave reviews in Uncut, The Sunday Times, Shindig, Mojo and Rocksound). The line-up conists of Nick Saloman (guitars, keyboards and vocals), guitarist Paul Simmons, Adrian Shaw on bass, and drummer Dave Pearce.
