Credit 00 delivers his debut album “Game Over”. After four EPs for Uncanny Valley the Leipzig based musician is now ready to let loose his electronic visions on full length. As everybody can confirm who saw him playing live or DJing, the head behind Uncanny Valley’s sub label Rat Life is a slave to the rhythm on a full-time basis. Obsessed with sound, he can’t stop pushing the buttons of his synthesizers and drum machines like someone torturing the controls of an Arcade machine. “Game Over” is an electronic love letter to the romantic fantasy worlds of classic video games and their bleepy and clonky sounds which used to be common also in repetitive electronic dance music. Collecting tracks from the last six years, “Game Over” is also a passion project that channels all his influences. You can get a glimpse of the ingredients that make up his record collection. Whether it is Hip Hop,Techno, Electro Boogie, New Beat, Italo, Jungle, Reggae, House or Chill Out. Though, all those different sounds and styles do not tear this album apart. It’s a bit of a miracle that it feels so flawless for what happens between the appetizing “Level One” and the final track “The Last March”. Those beats on “Game Over” can be brutally effective like the fatalities in Mortal Kombat while the overlying sounds can be smooth like the lemmings’ animations in the eponymous Amiga game. Just listen to the title track. Or the instant hip shaker “Breakers Revenge” that comes with a little help from friends like Sara Stammburg on vocals and Max Rademann on Rhodes. Without losing sight on the dance floor Credit 00 creates an electronic wonderland that delights dancers and connoisseurs at the same time. To top things off the wonderful artwork was created by Alexander Dorn a.k.a. Credit 00 himself.releases March 13, 2017

In a world without hope, a world with no appetite for sonic adventures, there's only one man who can save us all. He is the Sample Jesus! From behind the enchanted pyramids of Egypt comes a man that has nothing to prove but a lot to give. Taught by a legendary Pharaoh, he has lived the life of an eremite for decades. Exhausted after years of asceticism there was only one goal on his mind: to blow all the misery out of our heads. On the constant search for the perfect sample he listened to the finest Mongolian folk to experimental Tuvan Throat singings. It was only recently that he was returning from his self-imposed exile to come up with a record that hits deep in everybody's soul. Hallelujah, House-heads and Hip-Hop-kids, be prepared. Listen to the word of the Sample Jesus!

Modern forward thinking house music by Panthera Krause on his new EP for Uncanny Valley. The successor to his highly acclaimed Umami EP is not only rich in giving the dancers material to freak out on the floor. Beyond that, All My Circuits Part I is a perfect showcase for the Leipzig based producer's wealth of variety. Heppy is a piano driven anthem that will surely capture many hearts thanks to an irresistible dynamic. There's some Acid in the veins of Stomping Ground, a track that you should show your rocker friends when they doubt that there is energy in House music. Unraveled Dreaming is as demanding with strong sample use as it is beautiful with a build-up for eternity in the second half. Finally, Le Phoque is quite a playful affair with its whirring sounds and driving percussion work. Tip!

Do yourself a favour and dance across the floor when listening to the new Jacob Korn-record, aptly titled Son Of GX. The music is heavily based on the good old Yamaha Electone Organ. The home organ for the world's gentlemen was modified by Jacob himself and is now an integral part of his studio. As you'll hear it on the EP, it injects a decent dose of fun into Jacob's vision of House music. At least, you will instantly notice that when listening to Singlefinger Chord, a track that conquers the floor with its Disco elements. Rumours say that Jacob's cat toddled on his poor man's Yamaha CS80 when producing Cats On Organs. If that's true, the cat provided an irresistible hook to an already slamming, Italo-inspired track. Son Of GX is every bit as compelling as the first two tracks with its synth trumpet glory while the slighty darker Fun Blocks sustains us with heavy percussion works straight out of the Yamaha Electone Organ. On top, you'll get a remix for Singlefinger Chord by New York's Jacques Renault (Let's Play House) as digital bonus.

If you're familiar with CVbox' music you know that he isn't the guy for your average Techno track. Formalistic song structures aren't his thing. When you'll start to listen to a new CVBox track you'll don't know how it will end. His music derives from his deep love for analogue gear and a pretty unique way to deal with it. On his first album "So ist es im Nadelwald" CVBox rides between the corner points of Techno, Electro and Ambient. The music is infused by an omnipresent darkness that isn't just there as an end in itself but will definitely give the thrills to listener and dancers. Some of the tracks develop a rarely heard urgency on the dance floor with those dub-influenced swirls or ever-present synth tides while simultaneously preserving a rather intimate atmosphere. Sometimes it's just an unfamiliar sound that makes the difference that simply comes out of nowhere. One thing is for certain: CVBox is all about atmosphere. As you can see by the album's artwork and title ("Nadelwald" is German for softwood forest) The album is also inspired by his passion to go into nature. When he is sick of the whirlwind that is his current hometown Leipzig he disappears into Saxony's hinterland for collecting mushrooms or just letting the thoughts flow. The double 12" comes in a beautiful package designed by Jacob Stoy with hand numbered and printed outer sleeve and two printed innersleeves on strong cardboard.

Credit 00 strikes back with four cuts between Jungle Funk and sublime Party bombs. "Tribal Rhythm Machine" starts off with subtle but effective drumming that works on the dance floor as much as it could be the soundtrack to your road trip to Utopia. Then there is "Curse Of The Medusa", a pretty rumbling track that takes full advantage of its super-funky vocal samples and almost explosive percussion action. "Voodoo Soup" fishes in muddy waters with Credit 00's distinctive drum work and tribal sounds from outer space. The final track "Snake Charmer" is building things up nice and steady. But when the hypnotizing synth melody breaks ground neither serpents nor dancers can resist. The artwork was created by Alexander Dorn a.k.a. Credit 00 himself.

Panthera Krause has already introduced his music via EPs on Lobster Theremin and Riotvan and his contribution "Coochie" for Uncanny Valley's 5 Years compilation. On the "Umami EP", his first solo record for the Dresden based label, the Leipziger is back with an adventurous yet cheerful collection of tracks. He is a producer who is totally up for any influences. But in the end originality has to be the main focus. The title track has already made rounds on numerous dance floors and proved to be an irresistible organ House monster. Panthera Krause's tracks wiggle within the zone between epic floor moments and abstract beat structures like in the mighty "Z-Cuts" or in the flute-induced "Howling For July". Finally, ,,The Space Between Us" is an emotional ride through the twilight of eternal loss and extravagant hope. The artwork was created by Lisa Geue.

Synth wizard und Disco don Massimiliano Pagliara is the latest addition to Uncanny Valley's roster. And if you're familiar with the Italian's soundscapes you probably think this is good news. And yes, you're right. From the first bass drum it is clear that "Connection Lost" pulls out all the stops. There is an urgency in its drumming and synth work that shouts "dance floor anthem" right from the get-go. "I Am Running All My Drum Machines At Once And Dancing" plays out like a percussive orgasm triggering pretty much all the drum sounds you could imagine. On the sleazy Disco affair that is "Don't Give Up On Love" Massimiliano gets vocal support from Sigrid Elliott. This is a oh-so-sexy alliance that would have shined bright even in the heydays of Boogie. Finally, "I Enjoy Myself While I Am Here" shows off once again that when Massimiliano Pagliara is at the keys he creates glorious vibes like nobody else. The artwork was created by Alexander Dorn aka Credit 00 who also helped to establish the connection after contributing to Massimiliano's album "With One Another".

His take is a spooky yet compelling peak time bomb. Dorisburg transforms "Everlasting" into a funky and Acid-driven ride that is hard to resist. On top, you'll get Joel Alter's "Mecca" which turned out to be the biggest dance floor killer on the album. The wonderful artwork was created by Joakim Heidvall.

Believe it or not but Uncanny Valley looks back on five years of releasing records this summer. There was a bit of discussion on how to celebrate this occasion properly. Instead of just turning into the typical Greatest hits-routine the label heads Albrecht, Carl, Conrad and Philipp decided to look back and forth. So, besides a record with completely new material there will be a record that unleashes four tracks from the vaults of these five years. As you can imagine, there are lots of tracks that are good too but doesn't fit on the record in question because of the whole record's atmosphere or just because there's not enough space on the vinyl. But it would be a shame if those tunes stay unreleased forever. So, here's "Uncanny Valley: Five Years On Parole - gems from the vaults"! For example, you'll get "The Music", this catchy House banger from Jacob Korn and San Soda didn't fit on Jacob's debut collaboration album but has seduced so many people to dance since it was produced. The combination of the vocal sample, the catchy piano chords and the percussions are just too hard to resist. Also, "In Circles" by Cuthead is a favourite since its release on the digital-only "Resteessen EP". No wonder, after all this track has all the ingredients a Cuthead fan is longing for. Many have waited for another signal of C-Beams, the project from Break SL and Sandrow M. "Beaming City" is not a new song but a wonderful one with its combination of tricky drumming and melancholic synths. It's a reminder of what is so special about the project. We'll see what the future will bring for C-Beams. Finally, Credit 00 slows down things and seeks for an "Elsewhere Girl" that seems to hide in dark and spooky swamps. Besides lots of other artists it was former Dresden and now Berlin based artist Paul Waak who had a formative influence on all the visual aspects of Uncanny Valley. Sure thing that he was the man to create the artwork for both records in true Paul Waak style.

So, besides a record that unleashes four tracks from the vaults of these five years there will be a record with new material too. Here's "Uncanny Valley: Five Years On Parole - what's happening"! Chinaski is a great artist to open this record as his solo EP for Uncanny Valley is in the making. His dreamy "Angel Heart" has already caused a stir on many dance floors with its enthusiastic synths and bittersweet melodies. Derive on the other hand is a good example for another accompanying factor that was important for Uncanny Valley: collaborations. This time it is UV artist Sneaker and the Greek synth genius June that created the wonderful Krautrock inspired synth odyssey "Schicksalhafte Begegnung". Like Chinaski there is also a solo EP from Panthera Krause for Uncanny Valley at the ready. His pumping "Coochie" is a first foretaste of what is to come. A versatile track that has everything an open-minded listener of Dance music is looking for. Iron Curtis completes the EP with "Ensuite", an Acid driven piece of Electronic music that is just as old school as it is vigorous. Besides lots of other artists, it was former Dresden and now Berlin based artist Paul Waak who had a formative influence on all the visual aspects of Uncanny Valley. It's about time that Dresden based Steve Kasper comes around with his first solo EP on Uncanny Valley. After "Unvexed Dub" on UV010 and "Puli Kali (Rooted Dub)" together with Goetterkreis on UV020 EP he provides four original cuts that extend the label's sound with some UK flavour. "Helms Klamm" isn't quite the battlefield you expect from the title but a fine UKish House affair with warm synths and a distinctive bass line that will cause a stir on the dance floor. Then there is "Slo'fool (Ydee Dirtsocks Reset)" which starts mysteriously tempered and develops into a hell of a tune with its drone-like synths. "Good Old" showcases Steve's knack for combining ingredients of the UK Hardcore Continuum. Good old it is. Finally, the dubby track that has to be on a coherent Steve Kasper-EP is "Rooted (TRVE Dub)". No doubt: Steve knows his masters. The wonderful artwork was created by Thomas Neugebauer.

Recorded in spring 2014, "Heart" is the debut solo album by Gothenburg-born Joel Alter. During the process, he focused on finding the artist within himself and accepting the outcome as the value of his own footprint. But also for Uncanny Valley, releasing an album by an artist of whom we never released music before as singles or on compilations marks new ground. But since we know Joel for some time and are great admirers of his two albums he released together with Henrik Jonsson as Jonsson/Alter on Kontra-Musik this step felt very natural.

After "Trawler Crossing" in 2013, CVBox teams up with long time companion and musical soul mate Micha Freier for his next record. "Transparency" is CVBox through and through with long meandering bass lines and spacey synth climaxes. Techno jams that you can dance to with closed eyes. The first track "Blinking Lights" rides on a warm bass line, which is accompanied by perky synth swirls before a subtle but ultra effective snare comes in halfway through. "Bad Gate Way" is less straightforward but with its stuttering beats and spooky pads it recalls a time when Techno was all about trying out new things and creating ambiances that you can literally dive into. "Playwatch" comes with delay-driven synths and grasping rhythms and builds up to a majestic Techno track that is heavy on the dance floor. Finally, "XOXO" lurks around at first before it gets you with irresistible pads that bring things to a peaceful end. This is mach ine music with soul. The cover artwork was created by photographer Felix Adler from Leipzig.

After the extensive "Uncanny Valley 20" compilation we go back to our classic 4- track-format for "Uncanny Valley 025". Taking the chance to introduce 3 new artists to our roster, we warmly welcome Lake People, Philipp Triebel and RJ (who is also one half of Duererstuben) to add their distinctive flavour to this record. Lake People doesn't need an introduction anymore as his smart and emotional productions are making rounds from Ibiza to your basement club around the corner. His "Unexpected End Of Archive" is another example for his knack to produce tracks that evokes an emotional maelstrom on the dance floor. Beautiful synth melodies are meandering throughout the tune while the slick drum arrangement provides just enough tension to keep your feet on the floor. Philipp Triebel caught our ear with his live set when we played together at a party in his hometown Giessen. After handing in demos for some time he now contributes "Unity" to this compilation. Clocking in at just 4 and a half minutes it gets us moving with tight chords, tricky drums and a short but prominent synth melody that will be heavy on the dance floor. The B-side features two tracks by RJ who will also be a member of RBMA 2015 in Tokyo. "Leo" is an excellent piece of slowly rising House music that pushes the right buttons at just the right time. With melancholic robots on vocals duties and dreamy synth pads this track literally tells a story. Closing the record is "Nie" which rises the pace and takes a similar path like its predecessor with moony synths and a very catchy melody. As always with the Various Artists EPs on Uncanny Valley, the artwork is by courtesy of illustrator Paul Waak, this time with a fresh new approach.

Cuthead got known to the wider public via his releases on Uncanny Valley but his roots reach way back before the label's start. There was a time when Cuthead and his brothers from another mother threw wild parties at abandoned industrial locations or in the woods around Dresden. The crew, which was known as Kunst:stoff Breakz, also established a label where Cuthead released two albums and one EP as free downloads between 2006 and 2010. Over the years the calls for vinyl versions of those early joints were getting louder and so Uncanny Valley decided to give the best tracks from that era a new life on physical sound carriers and start the ''Total Sellout''. Through refinement and rearrangement 51 tracks were boiled down to a selection of 18 and ended up as an album full of catchy bass lines, heavy beats and sampling excesses. Among the tracks are party starters like the strings-infiltrated ''Scissorhands'', ''The Poncho'' or the ever devastating ''Iron Lung'' which still kicks like Dubstep has never faded. Since Cuthead has always been heavily influenced by Rap music, there are of course lots of great Hip Hop beats on ''Total Sellout''. Either in the form of funky sample studies like ''Painquilizer'' and ''VibraSkit'' or in true fashion with Raps by crew member Alibi on ''Hidden Track''. Also included on the album are ''Rock My Soul'' and ''All Night Long'', some early examples of Cuthead's knack for well tempered and super catchy House tracks, while the double-bass driven ''Rythmus '78'' shows another jazzy side of him. Once again, the artwork was conceived and designed by Till Hohmann who already did a brilliant job on last year's ''Everlasting Sunday''.

It's time to celebrate! At catalogue number 20 Uncanny Valley extends its compilation-concept to 12 tracks spread over three records. Part 3 starts with a bang and ''In der Weltraumdiskothek'' by mysterious Dresden based producer DC Production. If you've ever wondered what music would be played at the night club of the Ewoks this tune might be the answer. ''Nuthin Wrong Here'' is Scherbe to the bone with his stumbling beats, dirty synths and heartbreaking samples. We also have a big heart for Disco here at the valley and this is proven by Sandrow M & K_Chico who put a smile on our face with catchy guitar licks, bouncy bass lines and cheesy vocals. ''Space Dancer'', what more could you desire? Finally, Filburt from Leipzig brings things down to a peaceful end with his slightly melancholic ''My Time''. Free download included.

Merry Christmas from the Uncanny Valley! Our new record is dedicated to the land of Christmas, the Erzgebirge (a mountain chain in the state of Saxony in Germany) and its renowned folk poet Anton Guenther. Lovingly packed, with a beautiful etching of a "Schwibbogen" (a traditional Christmas candle arch from the Erzgebirge) on the B-side and with unique liner notes by the one and only Max Rademann it's the perfect Christmas gift for electronic music lovers and their audiophile moms and dads. "Haisel Stieht" originates from a moody jam session by a bunch of friends and is based on a classic folk song from 1905, namely "Wu de Waelder haamlich rauschen" by Anton Guenther. Break SL contributes his distinctive House-drumming while Jens Rosemann comes up with some catchy guitar licks. The song really takes off when the native "Erzgebirgler" Max Rademann starts to croon like he never crooned before and plays his beloved organ like a you ng god. On top, Tiny and Silke Brandes are rapping and having a laugh in the background. "Zauberhafte Fantasie" is just Break SL in all his glory. The track's catchy jazz sampling and almost symphonic synths accomplish a truly uncanny Christmas record.

On Uncanny Valley's catalogue number 18 we finally welcome back Credit 00 who is a man in charge of a decent collection of those dusty machines we all love. After the ice cold "The Living Room Life EP" from 2012, his brand new record "Ice Cream" is easy to fall in love with. Packed with tunes to suit various moods in life, it will be a faithful companion in dark basements or lonesome hours. "Ice Cream" starts deliciously with its sleazy sample choice. With the distinctive drum work it builds up to a true Chicago-inspired dance floor banger. "Round n Round" hits hard with a harsh kick and cowbell action before it shows off slightly melancholic lead synths and a subtle but effective bass line and puts the emphasis on the fact that things go round and round. Life's a dizzy affair. "East Of Nowhere" with THAT bass line-sound is Credit 00 to the core. And with spooky synths he puts you to an east of nowhere-p lace whe re you will lose yourself in manic trance-like dancing. The record ends with "Red Wine", a slightly different electronic love song sung by Credit 00. The cover artwork was created by Alexander Dorn.

One year after the first excursion into his haunting world of sonic spaces on the Analog Amputations EP, machine wizard CVBox strikes back on Uncanny Valley with the follow up "Trawler Crossing". And from start to finish this EP is a journey between Techno and Ambient full of unheard noises and grasping rhythms. In the title track the beat rides on spooky pads that flow down like lava from a volcano. The more the whipping drums come into play, the more captivating the atmosphere evolves. "Echo Place (Canyon Version)" is CVBox in pure beauty. Starting with quirky synth-sounds that seem to talk to the listener, a dubby bass driven groove takes over to unfold an adventurous Techno track in all its glory. On the flipside "Leo on LFO (Accordion Partition)" takes its time to build up into an epic Electro track that is distinguished by the acidic synth-bass and outshining strings. The collaboration with his musical soul mate Micha Freier marks the end point of the EP. "Remind 20 : 3" is a dreamy slow burner that seductively puts its arms around you after all. Sneaker's first solo EP for Uncanny Valley is a record of high humidity. The Java / Sumatra EP evolved in large parts in Indonesia when Sneaker lived there for almost a year and it literally conveys the Indonesian heat to dance floors in the rest of the world. Compared to his Acid House-inspired "You Think You Think" which was featured on the Uncanny Valley 004 compilation, this four new tracks show another, rather dark, Pop and New Wave side of Sneaker. The "Java Island" side starts with "White Glow" where a serious percussion workout is blended together with the sharp electric guitar by Indonesian guitarist Al Goz. Backed up by Sneaker's typical drum work, Slovakian singer Helena and Sneaker himself are dreaming of that mystical light. In "Misty Mirror", it seems like Sneaker is speaking to his reflection in the mirror and trying to figure out what he is seeing there. The track is as relentless as it is bittersweet with its stumbling dark bass synth and the bell-like melody before the pads bring things to an almost orchestral end. "Sumatra Rain" again features Al Goz, this time on the Bamboo Flute, Guitar and with a poem in West-Sumatran Minang Language. The track can be read as a meditation on the fact that if it rains in Indonesia, it pours. At the same time it is an irresistible dance floor killer that sometimes feels like "I Feel Love" for modern clubs with its ongoing octave bass and an uncompromising kick drum. Eventually, "Run To You" stands in the tradition of love song duets like "Je T'aime...Moi Non Plus". You simply cannot forget this catchy synth melody. This is pop music for people that like Italo Disco and Chicago House and rounds up the EP in a charming way

After all efforts were put into Jacob Korn's debut album during summer 2012 Uncanny Valley strikes back with namesake Jacob Stoy and his very first solo EP after his S51 for the UV010-compilation. Everything starts with Redensart, a sunny piece of music with a sneaky bassline and easy synth pads that come across like a warm rain shower: It's House in the end but feels like so much more. Hauswart is an impressive example of how one can create a whole atmosphere of sound within two minutes. It's short but feels so comfortable that you really like it to go on and on forever. Start is maybe the most conventional Deep House track on the EP and seduces with catchy synth chords and thrilling drums. Finally Gegenwart brings things to a jazzy end with tipsy synths and tripping percussions. The artwork comes from none other than Jacob's father Olaf Stoy, who is a painter, lyricist and porcelain designer still working in Jacob's hometown Rabenau near Dresden.

With records out on labels like Running Back, Dolly and of course his home base Uncanny Valley, Jacob Korn has been fueling expectations for a long play record. Jacob has always been very much into producing together with his pals. So it was only natural that 'You & Me' turned out to be an album that summarizes a lot of the collaborations that happened over all the years. Those sessions not only resulted in a lot of friendships but also in a string of music that takes House music to all its edges. But besides that conceptual background: 'You & Me' is an album, which is here to extend the listener’s summer.
